00:00:26Nine people have died after a massive shooting in the city of Erie in this American
00:00:30state of Pennsylvania. Two of the deceased are children. According to
00:00:34the BBC, the police were called after witnesses had seen a man with a firearm.
00:00:38When the police arrived, they found two dead women lying on the street. The
00:00:41remaining victims were found inside a house. The presumed perpetrator is
00:00:45among the nine dead. It is believed that he shot himself.
00:00:48himself.
00:00:54There are no words that can adequately express the magnitude of the loss of life

00:01:01Christia Pike, who last week survived an execution attempt in
00:01:04the state of Tennessee in the USA, has now been discharged from the hospital
00:01:08and sent back to prison. The 50-year-old woman was sentenced to death for
00:01:12committing a murder in 1995, and the
00:01:15failed execution has rekindled the debate for and against
00:01:18the death penalty. In this case it has not worked for
00:01:21whatever reason, they should either
00:01:25abolish the death penalty or find a better way to do
00:01:28it. This is...
00:01:35Yes, Donald Trump is very dissatisfied that the Norwegian Nobel Committee

00:01:46and therefore he should have received the Peace Prize.
00:02:04The airport in Saudi Arabia's capital Riyadh was temporarily
00:02:08closed on Saturday after an attack. This is stated by the airport authorities in the country.
00:02:12Several people have been sleeping, and the number is still being evaluated,
00:02:15the authorities state according to news agency AFP. The attack comes
00:02:19after several attacks during the week, where the Yemeni
00:02:23Houthi movement has claimed responsibility. Here we see better from an attack in Riyadh
00:02:26on Thursday. On Saturday, however, the Houthis have not
00:02:30taken the blame for the latest
00:02:31attack.

00:03:01World of Warcraft on an unusual visit to
00:03:04Northern Jutland. I mean, nothing really happens out here. A
00:03:08bus with local streamers drives around in search of
00:03:11Scandinavian landscapes that resemble places from
00:03:14the game.
00:03:16For example, we have the beautiful dunes up here
00:03:20at Robjer Mille, which actually resembles a place called Tanaris in the game
00:03:24World of Warcraft. The world with a quarter of a million
00:03:27followers is Danish. My name is Marcus. or online, I go by the
00:03:31name Gusu, and I have played World of Warcraft since I was a little
00:03:34boy, and the project will result in a YouTube
00:03:41Well, it is serious, so it is series.
00:03:45this is the Doomhammer from game, the bus attracts attention on its
00:03:49way, well, then this super cool World of
00:03:51Warcraft Forever truck simply drives by, well, I've played World of
00:03:55Warcraft for 20 years, so it's a bit
00:03:58special.
00:04:00World of Warcraft, or WoW, is a fantasy game
00:04:04from 2004, where you build a character and can freely
00:04:07move around in a world of magic and monsters. I
00:04:11think the name speaks for itself, it's World of Warcraft, there are
00:04:15so many things to experience, and there are so many
00:04:17things.
00:04:21Over 250 million users have played since the
00:04:25first game was released, and the game is especially known for
00:04:28the community around it. Many have found a lot of
00:04:31friendships, uh, many who have found their uh their
00:04:35partner online also through the game, first
00:04:38came the Skagen painters, now an American
00:04:42gaming giant, but in North Jutland they have always
00:04:45been able to see the magic in the area, well, I think it's
00:04:48perfect, I think there is uh, it's
00:04:52kind of a uh, Lord of the Rings-like atmosphere
00:04:55here,
00:04:58and the series is expected to be released in a couple
00:05:01of weeks.
00:05:05Right now, a
00:05:07weather forecast is coming out.
00:05:10The EU Trade Commission returns to Brussels after several days of negotiations
00:05:13in China. At an extraordinary meeting with EU ambassadors
00:05:16on Sunday, the commissioner will report on how the negotiations
00:05:20on trade with China have gone and give his assessment of whether
00:05:23a trade conflict between the EU and China is on the
00:05:25horizon.
00:05:28The English football club Manchester City plays their first match since they were found
00:05:31guilty of financial fraud. Over nine
00:05:35years, the club has received a staggering 7.8 billion kroner illegally.
00:05:38This was decided by an independent commission at the end of September.
00:05:42City has appealed the decision, the first match since the decision will be against Liverpool
00:05:46on Sunday at
00:05:475:30 PM.
00:05:51And then the forecast I promised.
00:05:54Saturday's showers continue into the night with very
00:05:58sporadic shower activity and
00:06:00temperatures just around 8-10 degrees, some places maybe even
00:06:04more. But as we approach the morning hours, it will be with temperatures
00:06:08down to around three to four degrees locally, and with fog in Jutland.
00:06:11The wind will be light to fresh from slightly different
00:06:15directions, and this continues into Sunday, where
00:06:19temperatures might reach 12-13 degrees, but it probably
00:06:23won't get much warmer. Possibility of a little sun
00:06:26perhaps, but at least more chance of dry weather
00:06:30in Jutland, generally speaking, there may still be
00:06:33showers, but the heaviest showers will be to the east during
00:06:36Sunday, so a five-day forecast, which gives a little
00:06:40variety, there is at least some nice weather for Monday,
00:06:44before we get a front coming in during Tuesday, it will bring
00:06:47windy weather, which continues until Thursday, but it will also get a little warmer.
00:07:03We are live with the latest news. It is time for
00:07:06Ukraine to get a new president instead of Volodymyr Zelensky. This is
00:07:10the message from American President Trump to journalists at the White House.
00:07:25The words came as Trump was asked about Zelensky's criticism of the new
00:07:28agreement that Trump has made with the Russian President Putin.
00:07:32The agreement means that Russia must deliver 300,000 tons of diesel here and
00:07:36now, and even more later. Zelensky calls
00:07:39that decision weak, and an American investment in Russia's
00:07:43war. Trump, on the other hand, is angry on Saturday that Ukraine continues to
00:07:46attack Russian oil and gas facilities.
00:07:50I said to him, do what you want, don't hit refineries, there's plenty
00:07:54of targets, don't hit refineries, and he went out and he hit, and he's not going to
00:07:58affect our farmers and he's not going to affect our ranchers
00:08:01and he's not going to affect the rest of the world, so we he
00:08:05better damn well stop, and while the
00:08:08war of words rages between Trump and Zelensky, Russian missiles
00:08:12again rained down over Ukraine on Saturday, including here in Kyiv,
00:08:16where five were injured. Ukraine's response has been, among other things, to shoot
00:08:20drones and missiles the other way, not least towards refineries in
00:08:24Russia. Trump support Russian to kill Ukrainian
00:08:27civilians, that's how, but we can't do
00:08:30anything only like in this case, we can
00:08:33only burn more refineries and we will do
00:08:37this. And now you are live with us, Kim, it is
00:08:41far from, one must say, the first time that Zelensky and Trump are at
00:08:45loggerheads with each other by now. How
00:08:47serious is this conflict? Do
00:08:50you think?
00:08:54serious for the Ukrainians, because they are in a situation where
00:08:57they need American help, they need American
00:09:01help, not least to have
00:09:04protection, air protection,
00:09:06long-range missiles, which can help them with their
00:09:10air defense, Patriot missiles. The Ukrainians are very concretely
00:09:13lacking, and if that is to happen, then there needs to be
00:09:17a proper tone and a proper relationship between Trump and
00:09:21Zelensky. Trump is a president who acts very much according to
00:09:24who he likes and who he gets along with, so this is
00:09:28a big challenge for the Ukrainians,
00:09:31um, it is also the consequence of
00:09:35Donald Trump very clearly having chosen that it was more important for
00:09:38him to prioritize domestic political conditions in
00:09:42order to ensure that the price of diesel might come
00:09:45down a little, that is important to him, and so he has chosen to say,
00:09:49well, he prioritizes that higher than his relationship with Ukraine and
00:09:52Zelensky. Kim, this comes at a precarious
00:09:56time, precisely while there are negotiations for a partial ceasefire at least
00:09:59between Russia and Ukraine. So, can this really
00:10:03destroy these
00:10:04efforts?
00:10:07It can indeed destroy those efforts. I think those efforts are
00:10:11actually having a very, very difficult time, and they have been
00:10:14for a long time, and that frustrates Donald Trump as well, you can also hear
00:10:17that in what he says, and what a lot of people
00:10:21will point out is that, yes, yes, but what he has asked the Ukrainians and asked
00:10:25Zelensky to accept are
00:10:27conditions that it would be very difficult for any
00:10:31Ukrainian leader to agree to, so when he says they should elect a new
00:10:35president, then there can be an agreement, yes, one could
00:10:38perhaps, the Ukrainians would arguably say, one could also elect a Russian
00:10:42president who just stopped attacking Ukraine, and then there would actually
00:10:45be peace, so there is a lot at stake, and
00:10:49it will be difficult to get these peace negotiations to
00:10:52end well, but they continue
00:10:56despite the statements coming from Trump, I also think one should see
00:10:59the statements as an attempt to put further pressure on
00:11:02Zelensky. And Kim, you briefly mentioned it,
00:11:06elaborate on why it is so important for Trump to get
00:11:10diesel from Putin right
00:11:11now.
00:11:14Well, there are mid-term elections right around the corner on November
00:11:173rd, and right now Donald Trump is being bombarded with
00:11:21inquiries from Republican senators,
00:11:24congressmen, who are campaigning around the country, and who want
00:11:28to talk about immigration, and they want to talk about fighting crime, they
00:11:31just won't get to, because Americans want to talk about gas prices and
00:11:35diesel prices, which have really shot up
00:11:39after the war in Iran, and there are just many of them who say, we have to
00:11:43do something, and then Trump has chosen to
00:11:47make a deal with the Russians, it is questionable how significant a
00:11:50price, a price drop, can be expected here, but it
00:11:54at least signals, both to his party colleagues, and also
00:11:58to the voters, that the president is trying to do
00:12:01something, regardless of whether it actually matters that
00:12:05much in the long run.
00:12:09Minister of Justice Nikolai Warme will now have a thorough investigation of
00:12:13the Kirkerup case from 2023. A 13-year-old girl
00:12:16was abducted when she was out on her paper route, and the perpetrator was
00:12:19later convicted of, among other things, aggravated assault, attempted murder, and rape under
00:12:23particularly aggravating circumstances. But 27 hours passed from
00:12:27when the girl disappeared until she was freed, and there has been great
00:12:29criticism.
00:12:33Three and a half years after it happened, the case still fills. Of course, it is
00:12:37a success story that the girl is rescued, saved, and rescued
00:12:41alive, but it could well be, that is something the criticism is about, she could have
00:12:44been rescued even earlier, even before. The then 13-year-old girl
00:12:48disappeared here in Kirkerup on West Zealand. Video surveillance
00:12:51led the police to the trail of the abducted girl and the perpetrator,
00:12:55who later also turned out to be the murderer in the Emilie Meng case, just
00:12:58a few minutes ago we were able to inform
00:13:02the parents that we have found her alive, but
00:13:06the girl was not found until 27 hours after she was abducted, now
00:13:10a report from the National Police raises new questions about
00:13:13the investigation. So I think it is important that we get a thorough police
00:13:16evaluation of this, because it is also in some way easy to be
00:13:20a Monday morning quarterback compared to there are a lot of leads in progress, there are a lot of people
00:13:23involved, and therefore. I would actually like to see what experienced
00:13:27police investigators come up with. Minister of Justice Nikolai Varmen
00:13:31agrees. According to him, the report from the National Police shows that parts
00:13:35of the police investigation could have been done differently, faster, and
00:13:38better, and that it took a very long time to identify and
00:13:42obtain relevant video surveillance, so now the investigation must be
00:13:46thoroughly investigated. I actually think that is a very good
00:13:48initiative, because it is about both uncovering the
00:13:52specific course of events more closely, but also
00:13:55about drawing lessons from it, how do you ensure that it doesn't happen again? It has not been possible to get a
00:13:59comment from the police of South Zealand and Lolland- Falster, but earlier
00:14:03this year the police admitted that the investigation could have
00:14:06gone better. We would really have liked to have been more effective
00:14:10and a little luckier in terms of being able to retrieve and
00:14:14secure the video that turned out to lead from
00:14:17the crime directly to the perpetrator, and thus also
00:14:21the discovery of the 13-year-old girl. Now a special group of experienced investigators
00:14:25will review the investigation, one must learn from the mistakes made in the
00:14:28investigation, so that it can be disseminated to everyone through the national
00:14:32standards, as one has for murder investigations, the training
00:14:35of investigations, but also whether they should be organized differently in Danish
00:14:39police. Neither Minister of Justice Nikolai Vamme, nor
00:14:42the National Police will give interviews about
00:14:44the case.
00:14:48It's a horrific scene, um, there was
00:14:51a a large loss of life um inside.

00:15:23Our hearts are with the victims, their families and everyone affected. by this tragedy, there are no words that can be
00:15:27adequately express the magnitude of the loss of life

00:22:53way, not least towards refineries in
00:22:56Russia. Trump support Russian to kill Ukrainian
00:22:59civilians, that's how, but we can't do
00:23:02anything only like in this case, we can
00:23:05only burn more refineries and we will do
00:23:09this. And now you are with us live, Kim. It is
00:23:13far from, one must say, the first time that Zelensky and Trump are at
00:23:16loggerheads with each other, by now. How serious
00:23:20is this conflict, do
00:23:22you think?
00:23:24Well, it is serious, so it is serious for the Ukrainians, because they
00:23:28are in a situation where they need American help, they
00:23:31need American help, not least to
00:23:35have protection, air protection,
00:23:38long-range missiles, which can help them with
00:23:42their air defense, Patriot missiles, very concretely,
00:23:45the Ukrainians are lacking, and if that is to happen, then there needs
00:23:49to be a proper tone and a proper relationship between Trump and
00:23:52Zelensky. Trump is a president who acts very much according to
00:23:56who he likes and who he gets along with. So this
00:23:59is a big challenge for
00:24:02the Ukrainians. It is also the consequence
00:24:06of Donald Trump very clearly having chosen that it was
00:24:09more important for him to accommodate the domestic political
00:24:13conditions by making it so that the diesel price might come
00:24:16down a little. That is important to him, and so he has chosen to say,
00:24:20well, he prioritizes that higher than his relationship with Ukraine and
00:24:24Zelensky. Kim, this comes at a precarious
00:24:27time, precisely while there are negotiations for a partial ceasefire at least
00:24:31between Russia and Ukraine. So, can this really
00:24:35destroy these
00:24:35efforts?
00:24:39It can indeed destroy those efforts. I think those efforts are
00:24:43in reality having a very, very difficult time, and they have been
00:24:46for a long time, and that also frustrates Donald Trump, you can also hear that
00:24:50in what he says, and what many will point out is that, yes,
00:24:54but what he has asked the Ukrainians and asked Zelensky
00:24:57to accept are conditions that it
00:25:01would be very difficult for any Ukrainian leader to agree
00:25:05to, so when he says they should elect a new president, then an agreement
00:25:08can be reached, yes, one could perhaps, the
00:25:11Ukrainians would arguably say, one could also elect a Russian president who
00:25:15just stopped attacking Ukraine, and then there would actually be peace, so
00:25:19there is... a lot at stake, and it will be difficult to get these
00:25:22peace negotiations to end well,
00:25:26but they also continue despite the statements coming from
00:25:29Trump, I also think one should see the statements as an attempt to
00:25:33put further pressure on Zelensky, and Kim, you
00:25:36just briefly mentioned it, exactly, why is it
00:25:40so important for Trump to get diesel from Putin right
00:25:43now?
00:25:46Well, there are midterm elections just around the corner on November 3rd.
00:25:50And right now, Donald Trump is being bombarded with
00:25:52inquiries from Republican senators,
00:25:56congressmen who are campaigning around the country and who want to
00:25:59talk about immigration, and they want to talk about crime,
00:26:03but they simply won't, because Americans want to talk about
00:26:06gasoline prices and diesel prices, which have
00:26:09really skyrocketed after the war in Iran,
00:26:13and many of them are saying, we have to do something, and
00:26:17so Trump has chosen to make a deal with the Russians, it is
00:26:20doubtful how significant a price, a price drop, can be
00:26:24expected here, but it certainly signals, both
00:26:27to his party colleagues, and also to the voters, that
00:26:31the president... is trying to do something, regardless of whether it actually
00:26:35makes a difference in the long
00:26:37run.
00:26:41Justice Minister Nicolai Warme now wants a thorough investigation into
00:26:45the Kirke Greve case from 2023. A 13-year-old girl was abducted when she
00:26:49was out on her paper route, and the perpetrator was later convicted of, among
00:26:52other things, aggravated assault, attempted murder, and rape under
00:26:55particularly aggravating circumstances, but 27 hours passed from
00:26:59the girl's disappearance until she was freed, and this has received much criticism.
00:27:05three and a half years after it happened, the case still resonates, of course it's
00:27:09a success story that the girl is saved, rescued and brought out
00:27:12alive, but it could well be, and that's what the criticism is about, that she could have been
00:27:16rescued even earlier, even sooner, the then 13-year-old girl
00:27:20disappeared here in Kirkerup on West Zealand, video surveillance led
00:27:23the police to the abducted girl and the perpetrator, who
00:27:27later also turned out to be the killer in the Emilie Meng case, just
00:27:30a few minutes ago we arrived.
00:27:34all parents, that we found her alive, but
00:27:38the girl was only found 27 hours after she was abducted, now
00:27:41a report from the National Police raises new questions about
00:27:45the investigation. I mean, I think it's important that we get a thorough police
00:27:48evaluation of this, because it's also in some way easy to be a
00:27:51Monday morning quarterback in relation to the many leads in progress, the many people
00:27:55involved, and therefore I would actually like to see what experienced
00:27:59police investigators come up with. That is Justice Minister Nikolaj.
00:28:04Warme agrees, according to him, the report from the National Police shows that parts of the police
00:28:07investigation could have been done differently, faster and
00:28:10better, and that it took a very long time to identify and
00:28:14obtain relevant video surveillance, so now the investigation will be
00:28:17thoroughly reviewed. I actually think that's a really good
00:28:20initiative, because it's about both uncovering the specific
00:28:24course of events more closely, but also about extracting some
00:28:27learning, how to ensure that it doesn't happen again. It has not been possible to get a
00:28:31comment from South Zealand and Lolland Falster police, but earlier this
00:28:35year the police acknowledged that the investigation could have
00:28:38gone better. We would have really liked to have been more efficient
00:28:42and a little bit luckier in terms of extracting and
00:28:45securing the video that turned out to lead from
00:28:49the crime directly to the perpetrator and thus also
00:28:52to the discovery of the 13-year-old girl. Now a special group of experienced
00:28:56investigators will review the investigation. One must learn from the mistakes
00:28:59made in terms of investigation, so that it can be disseminated. through the
00:29:03national standards that exist for homicide investigations,
00:29:06the training of investigators, but also whether Danish
00:29:10police need to be organized differently. Neither
00:29:12Justice Minister Nikolaj Vamme nor the National Police are available for interview about
00:29:16the case.
00:29:20It's a horrific scene, um, there was
00:29:23a a large loss of life um inside that
00:29:27residence and and outside that residence. Nine are dead
00:29:30after a mass shooting in Erie in the US state of
00:29:34Pennsylvania, two of the dead are children. Police were, according to
00:29:38the BBC, called after witnesses had seen a man with a firearm. When police
00:29:42arrived, they found two dead women lying in the street. The remaining victims
00:29:45were found inside a house, the suspected perpetrator is among the nine
00:29:49dead, it is believed that he has shot
00:29:51himself.
00:29:57There are no words that can be adequately express the magnitude of the loss of
00:30:01life here.
00:30:04Christia Pike, who last week survived an attempted execution in
00:30:08the state of Tennessee in the USA, has now been discharged from
00:30:11the hospital and sent back to prison. The 50-year-old woman
00:30:15was sentenced to death for committing a murder in 1995, and the
00:30:18botched execution has reignited the debate for and against
00:30:21the death penalty. In this case it has not worked for
00:30:25whatever reason. They should either abolish the
00:30:29death penalty or find a better way to do it.
00:31:02democracy and really enemies of civilization
