00:05:28liable for systemic, illegal working within their businesses, regardless of
00:05:32whether they claim personal knowledge of individual
00:05:34breaches. Another news, Janny Infantino has
00:05:38apologized for errors he made in controversial plans to sell off stakes.
00:05:42in competitions to private investors, but he will remain the FIFA president
00:05:46after receiving the backing of senior executives in a meeting in Morocco. In
00:05:50Fantino summoned members the management board to FIFA's Africa Office
00:05:54in Rabat following mounting criticism of his failed proposals
00:05:58with World Football's governing body releasing a statement of support four hours after
00:06:02the meeting had ended. It's after European football's governing body UEFA
00:06:05said at the weekend it lost confidence in him, calling the FIFA forward

00:06:16Cambridge, professor at the center of a plagiorism row has resigned with
00:06:20immediate effect. The university that it launched investigation into
00:06:23professor Jason Arday, following new information about his academic
00:06:27qualifications and honory appointments. Mr. Arday has been accused of
00:06:31plagiorizing parts of his Ph.D thesis, a book he published and
00:06:35exaggerating his sporting and fundraising achievements. In his
00:06:39resignation letter, the youngest black professor ever appointed at Cambridge University
00:06:43said he no longer wished to live under a constant spotlight. He
00:06:47admitted errors in his work, but said he'd faceed an unrelenting level
00:06:51of public scrutiny and personal attack. He also said he was not a
00:06:54liar. A record
00:06:5710,293 referrals were made to the
00:07:01government's anti-extremism scheme prevent in the year to
00:07:05September 2025. That's according to new figures published by
00:07:09the home office today. The total is up 39%. fent in the
00:07:12previous 12 months and is the highest number of referrals in a single
00:07:16year since data began in 2015, the
00:07:1910,279 referrals where the age the
00:07:23individual was known, 11 to 15-year-olds made up the largest

00:07:38England's rivers, lakes and coastal waters remain a challenging
00:07:42state. with only around one in seven classed as being a good

00:08:27was struck by the car and covventry in June of 2024. He
00:08:31was pronounced dead at the scene. 23-year-old Dalar Alexanders
00:08:35has been charged with causing death by dangerous driving after an
00:08:38extradition operation involving British and Latvian authorities. He was
00:08:42flown to Gatwick airport yesterday, taken into custody, he's appearing in court

00:08:49Now a petition urging Andy Burnham not to release PC

00:08:56On Tuesday, the Prime Minister approved plans to let a number of criminals,
00:09:00including those guilty of murder, become eligible for early release just
00:09:04halfway through their sentences. Two of those who could be released include
00:09:08Albert Bows and Jessie Cole, both of whom were convicted of man slaughter in
00:09:112020. and Kemy Beydenok is
00:09:15facing growing backlash after a former neo-nazi who withdrew
00:09:19as a conservative council candidate was offered an advisory role
00:09:23within the party. Joshua Bonehill Paine had been selected to stand in
00:09:27Sommerset despite previously being jailed for subjecting former labor MP
00:09:31Luciana Berger to what a judge called cruel campaign of vile
00:09:35racist abuse. He's withdrawn his candidacy saying he needs to show the
00:09:38Jewish community how much he regrets his previous actions, but says
00:09:42giving him an advisory role is insult and claims it raises serious questions
00:09:46about Kemy Beadenock's judgment. Miss Beadenock had defended the decision to
00:09:50select him as a new can new candidate for the new
00:09:53council Somerset Council, saying he had been
00:09:57rehabilitated and her party believes in second

00:11:46Durim market, which is 175 years
00:11:50old this year, and let's see who we can speak to uh, here
00:11:54at the market. It's actually um here we've got a remarkable stand with
00:11:58some live bees in
00:12:01it um and actually I'm joined by uh Dave Tolman the e-purist here
00:12:04Dave um how long have you been running this sort of B
00:12:08centered stand yeah we've been around about three years commercial
00:12:11now um so it's quite a new venture on the stand itself uh we've
00:12:15sold from the farm um we've got a little honesty box which has been really good cuz
00:12:19it's reaffirmed our faith and humanity cuz we did think we
00:12:23might lose a bit but we haven't. 'everybody's been very honest, which is always
00:12:27good, that's fantastic. do you think that's something particular about county durum,
00:12:31about the northeast of England, that sort of sense of honesty and community? oh,
00:12:35definitely, definitely 100%. um, you know what
00:12:38everybody's like, everybody does the best for you, and uh, the support we've had
00:12:42from everybody even here on the market, it's been brilliant. now, talk me through
00:12:46what products you have here, all made from your own api, I
00:12:50suppose, yes, yes, yes, um, we we've got somewhere around about
00:12:5480 to 100'. uh so spread out through the northeast and we don't
00:12:58keep all our eggs in one basket as it w the whole maberry
00:13:01is just to chestly street so about eight miles up the road there and yeah
00:13:05we har we're in the middle the harvest now we're coming towards the end um take the
00:13:08honey off and then we produce the products from there so what have we got here we've got
00:13:12some we've got some honey some uh pure bees wax
00:13:16some honey soap how how long does it take to make all these
00:13:20different things uh the the bees wax for us is is really a byproduct when we take the
00:13:24honey off we get wax cabins uh which we then refine down to make the
00:13:28pure bees wax and people buy that for everything from polished to waterproof
00:13:32and claws and uh we've even got an archer comes in to use it for his bow strings to
00:13:36keep his bore strings dry so yeah mean it's loads and loads of
00:13:40useless again it goes into the lip balms and the
00:13:43soaps wax in there and of course the honey as well uh and one of our
00:13:47friends from the duramasaw company makes all of those for us um we just
00:13:51supply the the raw materials as it were abs absolutely
00:13:55fantastic that you can get so many different things out of uh
00:13:59out of your your your beehives. I've got to ask can I try some of
00:14:03this honey here. now but no
00:14:06double dipping of course no double dipping. so what have we got here? we've got a while
00:14:10flower honey uh so that is basically taste of country derrum. it's
00:14:14all the dandy lions, the blackberries
00:14:17um oil seed rape everything that grows in this area
00:14:20naturally so you get a really good depth of flavor to it. um i'm not
00:14:24a fan monocultures you where you have just one field, but uh, this is a good
00:14:28mix or gets a really, really nice flavor. I hadn't thought about that, so depending
00:14:32on where the bees pollinates, the honey can taste different depending on the
00:14:36flowers that they use, yeah, yeah, it can taste different hive to hive, it
00:14:39literally depends um on what those bees have been picking on that
00:14:43particular day, so it's quite a diverse product as it
00:14:46were, that is very, very tasty runny honey, now there's a
00:14:50set honey here, I'm going to use the other end the stick, um, and and and and what's this
00:14:54one? basically all honey wants to crystallize as soon as you get
00:14:57it out, so what we do is we control the crystallization process um
00:15:01so rather than it to turn gritty and grainy where you can really taste the
00:15:04crystals that should be lovely and smooth like almost like a caramel rather
00:15:08than uh being well quite gritty, the big difference i
00:15:12think this one goes best on your porridge, your oats that sort of stuff, this
00:15:16one it's a spreadable version really good on hot toast, crumbets that
00:15:20sort of thing and it is delicious, i have to say what's what's the difference in making these two
00:15:24different? how do you make how are they different? mean if they're made the
00:15:28same stuff, how are they so different? we take this one and allow it to
00:15:32crystallize, once it's crystalized we then use pestal and
00:15:36morter to grind it. uh to get a really, really smooth
00:15:39consistency, that's then your seed honey, you
00:15:42add about one in 10 ratio, so that goes back
00:15:46into this honey, and when that crystallizes it takes on the smaller crystal that
00:15:50you've created rather than the larger one right, we we are running out of time, but
00:15:53just quickly i'm going to have to try
00:15:55this chili infused honey, yeah,
00:15:59and what so this is just a sort of runny honey with chili, with chili,
00:16:03goes absolutely brilliant on things like crispy belly pork, chicken
00:16:06wings good a pizza and uh you've been very brave there that
00:16:10might be a little bit warm so well if it is if it is a little bit
00:16:14warm let's let's let's find
00:16:15out i have to quickly hand over okay h

00:16:22sweetness and then the warmth creeps up behind it oh and now

00:28:05jail company bosses who use or employ migrant labor. Let's

00:28:13penalties in the world for those who employ and profit from
00:28:17illegal migrants. We'll restore order to our high street,
00:28:21protect the integrity of our border and return fairness to the
00:28:25British economy. We will stand up for British
00:28:29workers. Sounds like it makes. sense,
00:28:33but does it? does it? so let's have heated debate shall we? uh, we're
00:28:36joined by human rights lawyer sharb khan and independent

00:28:57make of what you heard ZF say today? is it going to
00:28:59help? hi, I mean firstly, I
00:29:03mean i think it is usually funny or strange to see so many of us myself
00:29:07included media politis other jumping anything reform
00:29:10says, I mean once you can say they have about one% of seats in
00:29:14parliament and I mean as far as I know is never
00:29:18even fought an election ever you know leave
00:29:21alone win one he's just a shadow home secretary title he gave
00:29:25himself but having said that I mean obviously coming to the the
00:29:29the content the policy and most of what he saying already have, we can
00:29:33already jail employers and that has already happened, the
00:29:37fines we already can impose maximum of 60,00 pounds, so for vast
00:29:41majority of businesses, that is more than 10%
00:29:44their annual turnover or the annual revenue as he's
00:29:48saying, so I mean I'm not sure what changes is basically going to make unless
00:29:51obviously in you reform reform leaders worlds every
00:29:55small business, every business makes millions of pounds and therefore they think 60
00:29:59thousand isn't much of deterrant, but we have all these year. and
00:30:03not just we have these on the books, but this is actually happening, we've seen bosses go to
00:30:07jail, and we have seen huge fines being
00:30:10imposed on very, very small businesses, and what, one thing
00:30:14that might make difference, unless the you know obviously the plan, unless the
00:30:18plan is we generally just want to see turkish barbers or
00:30:22Asian corner shop owners locked up, if the whole point is
00:30:25want to stop this, then yes, then we want you to be deterrant, and for
00:30:29that yes, why doesn't why don't they go after the uber or... deliveru companies
00:30:33then fine, I mean, then I might think, yes, it's making a difference, fine, you know,
00:30:37once I see some, the Uber directors jailed for what
00:30:41we know is happening with the delivery drivers, then yes, it might be making a difference,
00:30:45but other than that, I mean, I don't see what difference is going to
00:30:49make. Okay, uh, Jack, what did you make of it? Well, I think
00:30:52it's exactly what we needed uh, quite frankly. I think
00:30:56you, you, you just said that quite right there, shab is that, we
00:31:00do actually need to throw ' people in jail who
00:31:04are basically have their entire company operating
00:31:08a system uh of hiring illegal workers like uber eats
00:31:11like deliverou if they continue uh allow
00:31:15them to exist on their platform and allow them to
00:31:18therefore uh gain money to live and operate and
00:31:22function in Britain, but it's actually just more
00:31:25than um more than uh the headline here, what they're also doing,
00:31:29they're going further into the uh illegal
00:31:33migrant economy uh, for example with the vape shop
00:31:37uh license restrictions that they've also announced along
00:31:40with this, we've seen basically cash businesses uh flourish
00:31:44' since the pandemic and actually you know pubs have closed, restaurants have
00:31:48closed, um, you actual real uh small and medium enterprises have
00:31:52been really suffering in Britain, while our high streets are being
00:31:56flooded with vape shops, candy shops, all
00:31:58the like um where there's obviously allegations uh of
00:32:01obviously
00:32:02you know not just hiring illegal workers but money laundering links back to
00:32:06organized crime so I think this is the real point of this is
00:32:10that yes you know we obviously have to control the border and obviously reform have
00:32:14announced a plan to do with operation fortress, but we have to
00:32:17to to paraphrase the famous phrase here, not just be tough on
00:32:21the cause on on on not to be tough on the not to be tough on illegal
00:32:25migration, but tough on the causes of illegal migration, obviously having a
00:32:28big um cash economy where illegal migrats can work is huge pull
00:32:32factor. okay, sh, we do have over million young people in
00:32:36this country who aren't working, they're not in education, they're not in training, so
00:32:40surely if we free up some these jobs we could gamefully employ those young
00:32:44people and... them some sense of purpose in in life as well rather
00:32:48than having in many cases illegal migrants doing them.
00:32:52yeah, no, but I mean, do you honestly think would you know any or have you ever heard of
00:32:55any, you know, young people in Britain so desperate to be delivery
00:32:59drivers, but they just can't because delivery insist on
00:33:02recruiting or hiring foreign workers. I just don't think that makes any sense any
00:33:06level for any reason. do you think that's general genuinely uber reachs
00:33:10deliveroot? that's what they do, white people go to them and they say, look, we're desperate for a
00:33:14job, please. can we, i've got a scooter, can i please become a delivered? and
00:33:18they say, no, we want illegal migrants only, oh, you've got to brush the passport, we don't want
00:33:22you, of course that's not what's happening, and mean i just don't understand
00:33:26what we say, obviously, on the one hand we say this, then obviously we saw the scandal
00:33:29yesterday about you, why are all these non-white doctors and nurses and medics
00:33:33in hospitals? so the point is, if there are white doctors out there, then do we think
00:33:37genuinely you apply to the NHS, and the NHS is no, we don't want bike
00:33:41doctors, we'd rather go for an Asian or an African. we we are
00:33:45running out of time, just just very quickly show, just I get the impression you think there's some kind of
00:33:49racist element to that, is that what you seem to be saying with lot of this? you
00:33:53mentioned Asian corner, corner shops and sort of like migrant
00:33:57doctors, of course there is, because that's what they keep saying,
00:34:00that they're not talking just about employees, what they keep saying is turkish barbers and
00:34:04v, and we know what you mean by that, everyone understands, why can't
00:34:08you just say any money laundering front, why do you have to do what
00:34:12turkish barbers, we know what they're saying, so of course it's racist. and that's my point that
00:34:15obviously if we had seen white bosses or white company directors, any

00:34:40turkish barber shops obviously all in one go you this is not an element of
00:34:44racism just like, this is where we are seeing the obvious
00:34:47criminality on our streets. the thing the doctors is like you do realize
00:34:51that people who are trained in this country actually can't the government says no
00:34:55we can't give you a job because they're not enough spaces and they all the higher people from
00:34:59overseas so actually you're exactly wrong on that. there is no element of racism here,
00:35:03it's just like this is the criminality the british people see every day on our
00:35:06streets and we should be cracking down on that rather than imagine things that you're

00:52:45every year
00:52:46we we've we've took it up another level from year to year to year and and now we're
00:52:50seeing that we're we're having a longer period of busy time
00:52:53now we're starting earlier in the year and we're finishing a lot later in the
00:52:57season, what we really need is for the
00:53:00council and all the local businesses to all get together and try and bring Barry Island
00:53:04back to what... it was what was it like the glory days? tell me briefly? well i
00:53:08wasn't there um but people tell a lot, my dad tells me and you tells me what it
00:53:12was like when he was kid and the joy in the things what he says

00:54:58will push into the far northwest later on, there are a few showers skirting along

00:55:06across some areas of northwest England throughout this afternoon, but I think for most of
00:55:10us it's going to be dry day, quite a bit of cloud around, but still some sunshine
00:55:14across the south coast in particular, here temperatures climbing
00:55:18towards the low 20s, but for most of us temperatures will actually be
00:55:22below average for the time of year, so much fresher feel that we've
00:55:26had recently. Into this evening, it remains dry across more
00:55:29eastern areas of Scotland to the west though, sharry rain will start to push in
00:55:33across the highlands and... Also see some showers across areas
00:55:37of northern Ireland, dry for many other areas, you can see some rain on the
00:55:41graphics here, I think it's going to be pretty light and not many of us inland will
00:55:45see any of this rain, clear skies further south making for
00:55:49fine end to the day, but it is going to be another pretty cool night with temperatures
00:55:53dropping down to the mid single figures in rural areas, we could see
00:55:57some mist and fog to start Friday as well any valleys
00:56:00across parts of Wales and England, further north across parts of.
00:56:05the winds will start to pick up touching gale force for the far west of
00:56:09Scotland and some heavy rain will push in so a fresh start for much
00:56:13of England and Wales perhaps a mist and fog that should clear pretty quickly

01:04:05Yousuff says reform UK pledges to hold bosses of companies who are
01:04:09found to be using illegal migrant workers personally
01:04:12liable, he said young British people are being shut out of entry level jobs
01:04:16and our whole economy is being undermined. Reform UK vows
01:04:20to fine firms 10% their global revenues and jail bosses who
01:04:24employ people without the right to work. However, the government says it's done the
01:04:28biggest crackdown on illegal work. that our country has ever seen with
01:04:32a 77% increase in raids. over million young
01:04:35brits are now out of work and education. the
01:04:39tories and labor made Britain one the softest
01:04:43touch countries on earth for illegal workers.
01:04:47they created ecosystem in which illegal migrants are funneled
01:04:51directly into our national economy, driving down wages and
01:04:55funding the despicable people smuggling gangs. under this legislation,
01:04:59company direct. will be held personally and criminally liable for
01:05:03systemic, illegal working within their businesses, regardless of whether they
01:05:06claim personal knowledge, of individual breaches. In other
01:05:10news, woman's been charged following a stabbing in covent garden in which four
01:05:14men were injured. Stella golov was charged today with four
01:05:18counts of wounding within 10 to cause grievous bodily harm and one count
01:05:22of possession of an offensive weapon a public
01:05:24place. Janny Infantino has apologized
01:05:28for errors he made in controvers. plans to sell off stakes and competitions

01:05:36receiving the backing of senior executives in a meeting in Morocco.
01:05:39Infantina summoned members the management board to FIFA's Africa Office
01:05:43in Rabat, following mounting criticism of his failed proposals with

01:13:27'Well, I am here celebrating Britain in the
01:13:31incredible city of Aberdine, the granite city up here in
01:13:35Scotland, I've got all these amazing people with me, look at this, round of applause for all
01:13:38of you being here today, so we've been
01:13:42here getting real voices of people from up and down the country, but
01:13:46particularly here in Scotland, and I'm also here joined by Harrick Cross, MP, Harriot, thanks so much
01:13:50for joining us, good to see you too, now look, of course we're going to be talking
01:13:54lot about oil'. gas in the future, aren't we? and a big part of what makes this
01:13:57city so incredible is oil and gas. tell us what's been going on up here
01:14:01recently? it's oil and gas, but it's also the people involved in the oil and gas sector and
01:14:05the businesses. the skills and innovation that we have in this part the country are
01:14:09incredible, and what is being done to it now by the labour government and their
01:14:13policies is completely shocking. banning new licenses, increasing and
01:14:17extending the energy profits levy has meant that this industry has sat so
01:14:20much crisis in their confidence that we are seeing investment going abroad and jobs be...
01:14:25lost and skills being lost and the government seem to be sitting on their hands and doing nothing about
01:14:28it. well, Andy Burnham's signaling that he's going to be opening up
01:14:32at least some more licenses, perhaps is this moving in the right direction, is it going far
01:14:36enough? well, he's talking about Jack Dor and Roosebank, these are two fields which
01:14:40were actually permitted two years ago, and then the government pulled their
01:14:44support, the labour government, and they've been sitting on them ever since, so if
01:14:47they do permit them, obviously it'd be great for the sector, but it just brings us back two years to where
01:14:51we were previously, and it doesn't have to stop there, and it must not stop there,
01:14:55they must allow more new licenses, they must
01:14:58as I say, remove the huge tax which is driving away investment and jobs and actually
01:15:02support this industry which is so crucial to the UK's energy security.
01:15:06why are we importing more and more? why are we importing from Norway who are taking it from the same
01:15:10sea when we could be using our own? it makes no sense at all, we all here no it makes no
01:15:14sense at all, but the government seem to be sticking by that line. interesting remarks from
01:15:18the green party leader zack Palansky the other day, he uh, he thinks that we should
01:15:22perhaps have a windful tax on energy companies. perhaps people like BP
01:15:26who are now leaving of course um Aberdeen and oil and gas in in
01:15:29perhaps in the North Sea, um what do you make of those comments? should be having a windful tax to pay for
01:15:33climate reparations in some way? well the green party will tax anything but
01:15:37moves, I mean they will tax anything which they see
01:15:40aspirational and that's what the that that is their playbook, so him wanting
01:15:44to tax some more doesn't surprise me, but it's so short sighted, what we
01:15:48are doing by taxing the UK's oil and gas sector is meaning that
01:15:52it is driving down, it's driving down, investment is going, which means we will import
01:15:56more, imports have about four times the carbon emissions as
01:16:00the oil and gas that we can produce here, so the green party leader wants us
01:16:03to import more carbon-intensive oil and gas, that doesn't sound
01:16:07very green to me if that is actually what he wants to do, and
01:16:11also just because we produce less doesn't mean we use less, the oil and gas
01:16:15companies are producing what we need, we've got 24 million homes in the
01:16:19UK reliant on gas still, who knows how many
01:16:23cars, 75% of , energy is oil and gas, yet they want to turn off
01:16:27the taps, make that makes sense, because it doesn't to me. the governments say that we need
01:16:31to drive net zero, that we need to become renewable country, that we need to rely less
01:16:35and less on unreliable oil prices as what they've argued many
01:16:38times, do we need to transition to renewable energy
01:16:41quicker? what we need to do is make sure we have secure energy
01:16:45base, secure energy system. as i just said huge amount of our energy
01:16:49still comes from oil and gas, the government are fixated on electricity, which
01:16:53is just 20% of our... energy and that electricity has now been
01:16:57basically driving our energy policy, but when the wind doesn't
01:17:00blow or the sun doesn't shine, where they getting their energy from, it's just going to make
01:17:04us more and more reliant on imports, so we need a whole load of

01:18:5232% lower than ours, so and they rely on nuclear, there
01:18:56was a time when Britain had more nuclear power stations
01:19:00than the rest the world put together, we've lost them over the years, so the idea
01:19:04is to move towards renewables, harriot understandably. is
01:19:07protecting her area, the industry there is oil. Aberdin was very much
01:19:11built on that. Um, but
01:19:14we we've got to look look to the future, what it comes down to whether or not we give new
01:19:18licenses there, Jack Dor and Rose Bank fields are still to be
01:19:22decided, but they have licenses. Labor committed not to
01:19:26have to issue any new licenses for oil fields after
01:19:29that. Um, I think that was the that the right decision, the
01:19:33fields are are much smaller, they're more expensive to drill, the North Sea has
01:19:36been. dry by about 90% of its oil, okay, neigel for

01:28:02west ends to discourage what's known as vertical drinking by
01:28:05literally nobody by the way, it's called standing at the bar, by encouraging
01:28:09more seating and replacing bar service with table service. london
01:28:13major saddiq khan has criticized the plans as restrictive and
01:28:17anti-growth. oh god, i'm agreeing with siddiq. on warning they could
01:28:21damage one the capital's most famous nightlife districts. i can't
01:28:25get my head around this one, so let's speak to the CEO the nighttime industries
01:28:29Association, Michael Kill. Michael, really good to see you. "one
01:28:32the best jobs I ever had was working a bar, one the best parts of that was
01:28:36chatting to people over the bar, serving the pints, I mean it's part the
01:28:40pub, what on earth is going on
01:28:42here, it's a ludicrous policy. I mean, the
01:28:46reality is is this is part the draft statement of licensing policy, which ends
01:28:50in terms of consultation on the 9th of August, but the
01:28:53sentiment around this breaks the tradition of hundreds and
01:28:57hundreds of years the way pobs are structured, so it's just
01:29:01surreal that we're look." at risking that, the character the
01:29:05pub,
01:29:05you know, that transient nature of being able to move around and socialize and
01:29:09drop into different social groups is is really where the pub really
01:29:13thrives, so it's a real concern that this is even a
01:29:16small sentiment part of narrative that is going to be projected in
01:29:20licensing, and it has no place in that licensing policy as far as I'm
01:29:24concerned, but what is the thinking behind it?
01:29:27well, I think look, our industry has been subject to risk for
01:29:31many years. "you know, and and what we are talking about here is an
01:29:35overreach, something that's onorous, that's changing the way that
01:29:39we socialize or dictating the way that we socialize, it's
01:29:43almost anti-fun, it's anti-social and it's definitely
01:29:46anti-gowth, and and that's where the concern that we have is, and Saddiq
01:29:50is absolutely right, Sasha Lord, in Manchester, our chair
01:29:54also highlighted this, and many others have sort of stood up and gone,
01:29:58enough, this is an overreach, licensing, safety is key,
01:30:02but we..." also have to balance that with allowing people to enjoy themselves, socialize and
01:30:05enjoy culture. i mean, michael, the full confession here, i'm quite
01:30:09experienced at going to pubs and as
01:30:11i said, did used to work in them. i've managed to go to pubs
01:30:14and get to my advanced age without any major instance happening, it's
01:30:18not really dangerous to walk around a pub and have a chat to other people, is
01:30:22it? no, it's not, and and there are some amazing
01:30:26operators out there, and and
01:30:27you know this again identifies risk, westminster is traditionally
01:30:31quite - in terms the controls of its license space,
01:30:35and we saw this a strategy that they put out some
01:30:39time ago, talking about quiet spaces in Soho, and we
01:30:43have this real concern that we're moving towards this sanitization the west
01:30:47end and so, which is vitally important in terms of a global
01:30:51space that people want to come and experience, and that sort of sex positive
01:30:55environment, that really sort of vibrant, diverse
01:30:58institution that is this region, with this current
01:31:02rate. machine could be really sort of pressed into being
01:31:05something it never has been, so we're pushing back very hard
01:31:09uh, the mayor quite rightly is pushing back quite hard, so for us we're going
01:31:13to make a stand on this, and
01:31:15you know standing up against this, as the connotation
01:31:18suggests, it's so vitally important that we fight to make sure that
01:31:22people can stand a pub, can stand by the bar and they can socialize
01:31:26and move about in the way that they want to, not the way local
01:31:30authority dictates, okay, michael? I'm so with you on this one, good
01:31:34luck with fighting this, that is - CEO the nighttime
01:31:37Industries Association, Michael Kill there talking about standing in

01:40:02that - is concerning lot of you, I know, because it it affects many
01:40:06of us. New reports show weight loss jabs like Manjaro and
01:40:09Wegervy have now been linked to at least 216 deaths in the
01:40:13UK. A government figures also show a startling rise
01:40:17in deaths with annual jab fatalities leaping by
01:40:20300% between 2024 and

01:40:31medicines treatmentts used for chronic conditions can have side effects and
01:40:35these can vary from person to person so let's find out exactly what is going

01:40:47sarah the headline sounds quite scary but considering how many
01:40:51brits are actually on these weight loss jabs it is quite a small number so what
01:40:55is going on here yeah 'yeah,
01:40:58so we know there's around about two and a half million people accessing these medications privately in
01:41:02the private market and then there's a few hundred thousand through the NHS. I
01:41:05think what's happening here is that because these medications are being bought
01:41:09primarily privately, people are not getting the care needed
01:41:13to support them whilst taking the medications, so they literally been given a
01:41:17prescription only medicine because that's what these are and then kind of been left to
01:41:20fend for themselves with regards to their kind of aftercare and all the things that need
01:41:24to you to support being on the medication. So some ways this
01:41:28is, I think this story highlights how much we need to change what we're doing when we
01:41:32with regards to how we support people on these medications, so it's not about the medication
01:41:35suddenly being dangerous, but what is dangerous is not supporting
01:41:39people whilst they're on the medications with the medical support that they need, and and
01:41:43what what I mean by that is just getting people to ensure they're drinking lots of
01:41:47water, to make sure they're eating the the right things, getting the right
01:41:50nutrition into their body, if they are feeling a bit funny like making sure they go and
01:41:54speak to doctor and getting advice on it and not just kind of... or struggling with
01:41:58it, so it's it's about just making sure people have access to care, and I think that's the bit that's
01:42:02missing right now, and and Sarah, although it's meant to
01:42:06be difficult to get them privately off the internet, um,
01:42:10it is still ridiculously simple, you can just tick few boxes
01:42:13answering some medical questions, and provided you can afford it, you can
01:42:17access them that way, and obviously people can just lie on these medical
01:42:20forms, yeah, this, this has always been my concern with these
01:42:24medications is the fact that
01:42:26that the fact we can access them pr. privately, because I think if you think about any other
01:42:30chronic long-term condition, you can't buy
01:42:31your astm inhalers online if you want them, or you can't get your insulin online if you
01:42:35want them, so why can we access these medications privately online? And I
01:42:39think the problem is is because the NHS are not able to provide
01:42:43the care or the the capacity that people need for these
01:42:47medications, so they're seeing the commercial side of things the private market as
01:42:51well. I am really pushing back on we need more access
01:42:54to the NHS so that we get the care needed for it because your... like you, you can get these
01:42:58from salons, dentists, all sort of people sorts of
01:43:02people, and that is really concerning, because people do need access to support
01:43:06with these medications and they're not getting it when they're just buying it from someone they know down
01:43:10the pub for instance, or or even getting it from clinic or some that sends it to you
01:43:14in the post, but that's all you get, you don't get any support alongside it, and and I
01:43:18think we need to this, this should be a shakeup the process and to
01:43:22say, actually we need to be doing better with managing care for people on these
01:43:25medications, yes and and obviously Sarah for many people with
01:43:29obesity and type two diabetes and things like they have been a gods and they
01:43:33have helped so many people, but as you say it's the medical
01:43:36guidance and and learning new thought processes about your
01:43:40diet and exercise etc. that is so important.
01:43:44yeah, 100%. so these medications are game changers, I'm a huge advocate them, I've
01:43:48been on them myself because I live with obesity, and they really are improving the lives
01:43:52and health of people living with obesity, worldwide, but yeah, the bit that we're
01:43:55not,
01:43:56and I don't think people are fully... understanding is if you're only consuming say around a
01:44:00thousand calories a day because that's all you can consume because
01:44:02you don't feel hungry and um on these medications, you need to make sure you're getting all the
01:44:06nutrients and all the kind of things that you need to fuel your... body properly
01:44:10so that you've got your energy and your kind of your protein and all these different bits and pieces and I don't
01:44:14think people are understanding that enough. water is so
01:44:17important so you know I've spent my whole life people telling me I need to drink more water
01:44:21and I'm pretty rubbish at it but actually you do need it because you need to flush your body
01:44:25and you need to make sure you're kind of really looking after yourself so there's some simple
01:44:29things that everybody should be doing to just make sure they're kind of being the best
01:44:33versions themselves and the healthiest versions on these medications and then
01:44:36there are other side effects around the kind of GI side effects that people are... having and
01:44:40they are known
01:44:41side effects, but and for some people these are worse than others, so again it's kind of if you're
01:44:44struggling really badly
01:44:46with g side effects, let's kind of i would take pause, I would get some support for that and see
01:44:50if one the other medications might be better, because they are slightly different and they work
01:44:54in slightly different ways, so it
01:44:55is just about managing it and making sure that you have access to care, that's a bit
01:44:59right now we don't, indeed, absolutely, yeah, thank you, very sound

01:56:10as well any valleys across parts of Wales and

02:04:39fine firms 10% their global revenues and jail bosses who
02:04:43employ people without the right to work. However, the government says it's done.

02:11:24the uh the machine so we're going to turn it to the
02:11:27espresso because there's different ways of making coffee so
02:11:31filter coffee cafetier espresso and these are sort of different levels of
02:11:35grinding with beans yeah so we're going to go for the finest side yeah
02:11:39and my machine takes up there so if you take the little cup yeah
02:11:42put it underneath that nozzle there okay and come
02:11:45around and you're going to press that button there
02:11:48okay grind it into the cup that will grind it
02:11:52into the cup so let me press the oh and we can hear that noise
02:11:56already going
02:11:58to stop grinding i'll tell you okay there we are now
02:12:02you turn that off and there we
02:12:06go very finely ground there that's a nice fine that'll go into the
02:12:09espresso right okay now we come around to the machine
02:12:13and ah this is the bit that i've seen happen yeah
02:12:17yeah yeah so we're now going to put it into the um the
02:12:20cup so it's nice and
02:12:23fine and then we
02:12:26tamper it down there we are cuz we did a little
02:12:30bit extra okay and so this is all sitting tamper it
02:12:34down needs to be compressed there there
02:12:38we are okay yeah then we're going to put it into the machine
02:12:41there's and how do you like your coffee? do you like an
02:12:45espresso? do you like a cappuccino? oh
02:12:49do you know what, think i'll go for a, i'll go for an espresso today actually, yeah, thank
02:12:52you. oh, i love the sort the the
02:12:56clunk the machine and the and the sense of industry, oh we can't
02:13:00do, you've run
02:13:02out of the clearly very popular, i'll i'll have i'll have a flat white instead,

02:13:24fantastic, with a flat white you don't
02:13:28have lot of milk, it's more the intense
02:13:31flavor of your coffee, okay, and and the the
02:13:35bean that we selected there, the uh, the colombian bean, it's it's
02:13:39quite intense coffee, vietnamese, sorry, 'yeah, it's
02:13:43roasted with corko beans and oil and it gives it a really
02:13:47intense flavor, so it's a nice smooth coffee, but very high in
02:13:51caffeine cuz it's robuster and arabica beans. do you find that
02:13:55people generally want a very caffenated coffee?
02:13:58absolutely, especially the students around
02:14:02exam time, so there we are, so the the flat
02:14:05white you would take the milk to there, so you're just getting a little bit the
02:14:09milk, but you're going to get a really intense flavor of your'. your
02:14:13vietnamese coffee, fantastic, well I'll be buzzing for the rest the
02:14:16day on this, here we go, oh it's very
02:14:20hot, it's very hot, it's very

02:27:30that Reform UK has vowed to crack down on illegal
02:27:34migration during a press conference in Westminster earlier.
02:27:38They pledge to jail company bosses who use or employ migrant
02:27:42labor. Let's have listen to what they had to say. We will introduce the toughest
02:27:46penalties in the world for those who employ and profit. from
02:27:50illegal migrants, will restore order to our high street,
02:27:54protect the integrity of our border and return fairness to the
02:27:58British economy. We will stand up for British
02:28:01workers. But health secretary Evet
02:28:05Cooper says the government has tough measures in place already. Here's what she
02:28:09had to say. Well, this government has done the biggest
02:28:12crackdown on illegal working that our country has ever
02:28:16seen, with a 77% increase.
02:28:20in raids, 17,000 businesses have
02:28:24seen raids for illegal working, massive crackdown in
02:28:28terms the courts and also more than 50%
02:28:31increase in people who have been illegally working also being deported and
02:28:35returned as well, we take this really seriously and that's
02:28:39why we've had this major crackdown that is delivering
02:28:42results. okay, it's so lot of
02:28:45debate around this one, so let's talk now to political commentator and act...
02:28:50Iman aten, Iman, good to see you, thank you so much for joining us,
02:28:53Iman, what did you make of what zisep had to say this
02:28:57morning? Well, um, I think we
02:29:00already have the appropriate laws in place that punish employers and
02:29:04organizations, and so they basically repeating or trying to, I don't
02:29:08know, I would say utilize the fact that many people don't necessarily do
02:29:12their research and level of ignorance and to get away with
02:29:16repeating what labor have currently done, so I actually agree with.
02:29:20secretary of labor right now, um, labor have currently decided they are going
02:29:24to strengthen the current laws that we have, um, or they have decided to
02:29:28adopt new approach which leads with emphasis and um a bit more
02:29:32enforcement, so as an example, just to reverter refer to
02:29:35Z.usuf, he said that or he stated that he would
02:29:38introduce up to 10% fines um of a
02:29:41company, um, a company's revenue, so not profits, and
02:29:45oh, global revenue, global
02:29:48revenue, okay? um and the issue with that is
02:29:52many reasons, obviously in terms the fact that it's naturally going to lead
02:29:56with companies potentially leaving as result of not being able to
02:30:00pay said fines, and two, it kind of flies in the face
02:30:03of reforms current pro business themes such
02:30:07as empowering businesses and ensuring investment and so I
02:30:11think it's incredibly contradictory, but most importantly I just emphasize one thing which
02:30:15I think is really important, the current law that we have is the immigration, asylum,
02:30:19nationality. act of 2006 and where Zier
02:30:23Yusuf has failed in terms of his proposal is it doesn't cover any nuance,
02:30:27whereas the current laws via labor and I will say tories, it
02:30:31does, so the current law in section 15 covers
02:30:34whether an organization failed um to do
02:30:38that due diligence, and then section 25 covers
02:30:42whether you deliberately decided to hire an illegal worker, so m to
02:30:46tell
02:30:46is it's very contradictory in terms their own themes and currently doing right
02:30:50now, in other words, reptifying the very issues that everyone has a problem with.
02:30:54okay, in man, just, I mean, obviously, yes, these laws are
02:30:58technically in place, but in August it emerg that Delivery and
02:31:02just... delivery accounts were being offered to migrants within 10 minutes of asking through
02:31:06social media groups and migrants are paying as little as £40 pound a week for other
02:31:10people's login so even though the laws might be enforced it's
02:31:13not actually working at the moment so maybe reform's
02:31:17message is that we are going to clamp down we are going to make sure that nobody slips through these
02:31:21gaps but that's what labour is currently
02:31:25doing so they've decided they are going to they've extended their
02:31:28work um right to work checks and they've ensured that
02:31:32they have their um whistleblower roots, so that was actually
02:31:36something that ziah proposed that they would have a call line
02:31:40for, i think
02:31:41it was turkish barbers, right? um, we already have these things in place, and like I
02:31:44said, originally, labor currently, you just have to give them time in all
02:31:48fairness, they are currently trying to um strengthen those
02:31:52laws,
02:31:53they are making sure that there aren't any loop holes that you can get around, they are trying to ensure
02:31:57that they have enough enforcement officers to go along to these
02:32:00workplaces and um, do the investigations needed,
02:32:04make sure that there are arrests. I mean, we already have 60 thousand fine, a
02:32:0860,00 pound fine, um, if you fell your due diligence
02:32:12as an organization, we already have an unlimited fine, an unlimited
02:32:16fine and imprisonment, five years under the current laws, so I just
02:32:20think I think it's about holding to the fact that labor are currently doing the work,
02:32:24and it's only impatient and ignor, impatience and ignorance that prevents people from
02:32:28seeing so that makes any sense. Iman, thank you so much for joining us with your

02:40:30got at the moment, and I think that the um, what everyone
02:40:34is ignoring is is the some the progress that has been made, so
02:40:38legal crossings um across the channel so far this here,
02:40:4243% down, that is actually... uh that is a bit
02:40:46of a wind, then we then we we we have um uh
02:40:50doubling the number of national crime agents
02:40:52agency um uh coppers
02:40:56who are who are catching the catching the smuggling gangs 300 more arrests
02:41:00last year than the previous year and so it goes on so we are doing
02:41:04something about it the problem really is that it's so
02:41:07visible you see people crossing the channel um they started
02:41:11crossing the channel back in sort of 2018 'up until then they
02:41:15were coming in the back of
02:41:17laures and we succeeded in stopping them coming on the back of lauris, but of course you
02:41:21never saw them it is interesting that the lauried stopped,
02:41:25mean we seemed to sort
02:41:26that problem out
02:41:27but then 'the boats obviously took over and interesting when you say sort of like
02:41:3042% down, but what people don't mention when they use that figure is that
02:41:34migration into France is also roughly 40% down as
02:41:38well, so one the reasons why the boats are not so many coming across the
02:41:42channel is you say 42% down is because there's less them getting into France
02:41:46because france have to be fair toughend up yeah and and france have got a
02:41:50problem I mean in fact the rest of Europe has a bigger problem than we
02:41:54do with with migrants and yes you're right france has ' has
02:41:58has done that, they've also actually helped us, and again we're ignoring some
02:42:02the things that the French have done, um, they probably stopped about
02:42:0540,000 crossings themselves thanks to police
02:42:09action, now it may be those same people then then tried again,
02:42:13well indeed, this is an endless debate that we are having on the GB News and
02:42:17hopefully someone at some point will do something about it, and because I think we are now

02:54:44into parts the northwest through the rest the day. elsewhere though, it will remain

02:54:51lately that. thanks to ridge of high pressure and northerly
02:54:55winds wrapping around this ridge, pushing in from the north
02:54:59and east, that does mean there has been a bit of a breeze across eastern coast that should
02:55:03ease through the rest the day and overnight
02:55:06and clear skies will likely develop across much of England and Wales, some
02:55:10eastern areas of Scotland too as well as northern Island,
02:55:13further north and west though cloudier and wetter skies move in, the
02:55:17winds will increase here to near Galeforce as well, so under the clear skies
02:55:21temperatures will fall... way rurally down into the low single
02:55:25figures, so it's like to be fairly fresh start to the day across more
02:55:28southern areas, but across the north it's going to be much weatter day, the far
02:55:32north and west of Scotland, the highlands and western irs seeing the
02:55:36worst of any rain and those strong gusty winds as
02:55:40well into the morning, dry for northern island, plenty of sunshine as well as
02:55:43southern Scotland and elsewhere across the UK, you'll see there's a few
