00:01:09facilitating
00:01:10of
00:01:11of in illegal immigrants breaking into the
00:01:12of entire a European continent,
00:01:17of and meanwhile, as of Cambridge's Diversity poster boy
00:01:18of professor resigns amist the swirling speculation about his
00:01:22alleged
00:01:23of achievements. of Tonight of a we'll reveal some more on extraordinary editions
00:01:27to his
00:01:28of CV and also tonight. I I did actually reach out back
00:01:31yesterday to him, I did say, look, should we
00:01:34have call? I haven't heard
00:01:38a back yet. Is it time to unite the
00:01:40of rights? Well, a blistering comment peach from the Sunday telegraph editor and tonight's
00:01:43guest
00:01:44Heath the sparked huge row
00:01:47of the rumored Reform Restore Alliance. He'll be joining me live in the
00:01:50studio, and finally
00:01:52tonight.
00:02:00of "Could that be the sound
00:02:04you hear over the city of London,
00:02:07of because plans for
00:02:08of a 13-story mega mosque in North London to replace an Irish
00:02:12pub, and
00:02:13in send locals up
00:02:14of in arms, perhaps that's because there are already 39
00:02:18mosks in the local area, now that's all to come,
00:02:21in but first is your headlines with San
00:02:22Francis."
00:02:30Martin, thank you, and good evening to you, just after 7 o'clock, the top story
00:02:34tonight, Andy Burnam has
00:02:35of ordered an urgent review into whether grooming gang offenders could be freed early
00:02:39from prison under the government's release scheme. The Prime Minister has asked the
00:02:43Ministry of Justice identify cases that may still qualify
00:02:47after Kemy Beadenock warned
00:02:49of some of child sex offenders could leave jail before the end
00:02:51of their
00:02:52of sentences. of The concern is that older offenses, including
00:02:55of indecent
00:02:56of
00:02:56in assault may not be covered by the exclusion list. Number 10, says
00:03:00Andy Burnham has personally intervened to make sure that in his words vial
00:03:04of grumors are
00:03:05a dealt of with of in the way victims
00:03:08of deserve. Well that row comes as a petition urging the prime minister not to release
00:03:12two of PC Andrew Harper's killers,
00:03:14of passes half million signatures.
00:03:16in Albert of Bowers and Jessie Cole were jailed after the officer was killed in
00:03:202019 when he was
00:03:22of dragged behind a car during a quadbike
00:03:24of theft. Andrew Harper's family says the release would be
00:03:27utter betrayal.
00:03:31of of of Well next just to some breaking news emerging from
00:03:35Heathro airport tonight where smoke has been seen
00:03:38rising behind one of Britain's busiest runways
00:03:42after a grass fire reportedly broke out there pictures you can see here
00:03:46shared on social media showing those blooms of smoke smoke near one
00:03:50of the passenger
00:03:51of terminals with departures reportedly suspendeduh and aircraft
00:03:55left in
00:03:56of holding a patterns reports say the fire was close to the southern runway forcing
00:04:00throw to switch temporarily to single
00:04:02of runway operations while crews made the area safe,
00:04:05a passengers at this stage being warned to expect
00:04:08of delays into this
00:04:09evening. Meanwhile, that comes as
00:04:13rail passengers are also being told not to travel on parts
00:04:16of the rail network tonight. It follows a power failure caused major
00:04:20of disruption of across Greater
00:04:22of Manchester, the Northwest and the Midlands. The fault is at the Manchester rail
00:04:26of of operating center with trains cancelled, delayed or rescheduled.
00:04:33a in In other news, reform UK has said company bosses should face jail if they employ people working without the right
00:04:37in the
00:04:38of UK. in The party also wants firms fine 10% of global revenues targeting
00:04:42delivery and gig economy companies that it claims are profiting from
00:04:45illegal workers, but the government says that it has already launched
00:04:49a record
00:04:50of crackdown. Two men have been
00:04:54arrested
00:04:55في today after police officers were taken to
00:04:56of hospital during second night of disorder in Thatford. Norfock police
00:05:00says
00:05:00a crowd gathered after an anti-immigration protest before police officers were called to
00:05:04reports that
00:05:05of others were trying to get into a home. One officer was hit with rock,
00:05:09another was seriously bitten and a third was spat at.
00:05:14"and Andrew Mountbatten Winder has told a court he was chased by a man a
00:05:18balaclava near his Sandringam home. The former Duke of York says he was
00:05:22walking his dogs when he spotted a man that he described as out of
00:05:25place. 39-year-old Alex Jenkinson denies using threatening,
00:05:29abusive or insulting behavior, and is also fighting a stalking
00:05:33protection order. The former Prince Andrew is due to give evidence by
00:05:36video link at the trial in
00:05:38December. Those are the latest headline."
00:05:42for now we'll keep across any developments at Heathro airport for you and of course those rail delays,
00:05:46but for now it's back to Martin. for all the latest from

00:05:57gbnews.com,
00:06:07thank you Sam, welcome back to GB News tonight with me, Martin now to a GB
00:06:11news. exclusive investigation and we can reveal the
00:06:15astonishing situation of migrant NGOs and the
00:06:19facilitating and supporting illegal migration across
00:06:23the entire European continent, destination, hotel
00:06:26Britannia. on your screens now as the liflet that reform UK
00:06:30chairman Lee Anderson discovered in Loon Plage near
00:06:33Dunkirk that have been handed out to migrants that he claims to be
00:06:37a crib sheet to help fast-track illegal immigrants into
00:06:41Britain. Now we don't know who produced the leaf huts, but it does contain, as you can see on
00:06:45your screens there, a QR code. If you scan that on your
00:06:49phone, it takes you to this website.
00:06:52Now alarm phone is an NGO which describes itself as a hotline
00:06:56for quotes, boat people in distress and that its
00:07:00long-term goal is to create open borders and freedom of
00:07:04movement for everyone, but it gets even
00:07:07more extraordinary. Are you going to cross the
00:07:11Mediterranean by? boat on one these rots. In
00:07:15case of emergency at sea with boat or with people on the boat, call the
00:07:19coast guard the country. You can find the numbers here. After you
00:07:23have contacted the coast guard, call our alarm phone number. We
00:07:26don't have boats or helicopters for rescue, but we do have the knowledge and
00:07:30ability to pressure coast guards and national authorities to
00:07:33help. It's astonishing. Ladies and gentlemen, you
00:07:37heard that right, that
00:07:39there was a video from along phone's website in which they brave. only
00:07:42brag about pressurizing national authorities to simply
00:07:46let illegal immigrants in, but there's
00:07:49more. before you leave, prepare yourself
00:07:52well. a good life jacket can save your life in case of
00:07:56emergency. take enough fuel with you. often boats
00:08:00get into trouble because of lack of fuel. bring enough
00:08:04drinking water with you. in case of emergency, the only way to
00:08:08alert anyone when you are in distress
00:08:11is use satellite phone. "It's incredible,
00:08:15because if you were unsure about the logistics of brazenly and illegally
00:08:18breaking into Europe, then fret you not alarmphone has you
00:08:22covered, and it's got a fully comprehensive battle plan, but
00:08:26here's the really, really crucial part. We are
00:08:30watch the med Alarm phone, a transnational network of people
00:08:34who fight against the European border regime. We demand
00:08:38safe passages to Europe and freedom of movement for
00:08:41everyone. You heard that right,
00:08:45fighting against the European border regime. We
00:08:49demand freedom of movement for everyone, but there's
00:08:52even more because Alarm's websites link to another migrant NGO
00:08:56and they're called Captain Support. In this video, we will
00:09:00provide information about the different ways in which
00:09:04people on the move are criminalized for driving boats, what are
00:09:08their rights and how to get legal support.
00:09:13If you want to organize legal support for yourself,
00:09:17friends or relatives, you can contact captain
00:09:20support Facebook page where you will be supported with
00:09:24finding legal aid. Everyone should be
00:09:28able to migrate, escape and live wherever they
00:09:31wish. Let's keep fighting for a world without borders
00:09:35and for freedom of movement for
00:09:37all. Everybody should be allowed to
00:09:41live. wherever they want, a world without borders, it seems captain
00:09:45support alarmphone on just pro illegal immigration, they
00:09:49appear to be pro migrant smugglers too, and just to round it
00:09:53all off, for all the migrants who can't speak any english, then don't
00:09:57worry, the are of course services in 16 foreign languages,
00:10:01including of course
00:10:02Arabic.
00:10:07والمخاطر البحر وبمراكب العبور الشعبيه او ما يسمى
00:10:10بالحرقه.
00:10:25of NGOs and activists and charities driven by
00:10:29radical open borders, anti-nation state ideology that
00:10:33is helping to facilitate the illegal invasion of
00:10:37Europe all the way from Libya and all the way to an
00:10:40HMO near you. I'm joined now in the
00:10:44studio by my panel, the former Conservative attorney general Sir Michael Alice and the
00:10:48journalist and the broker, gentlemen, you're both great friends
00:10:52the show, welcome to you both. and i shall
00:10:55start with you. the brass neck of this
00:10:59is utterly astonishing, leaflets dolled out to legal migrants,
00:11:03telling them about tides, about sea conditions, about the
00:11:07weather, about when and who to call, and then when you get to Britain
00:11:11who to get in touch with to help facilitate your passage into an
00:11:14HMO near you. this is braizen, it's incredible. i'm sorry for
00:11:18laughing, but you are hamming this up, mean i'm thinking of those big booming
00:11:21american voices in the cinema that tell you to... the next
00:11:25movie, you are sewing the seeds of
00:11:29terror in our population, Martin, you are trying to
00:11:32convince the people of this,
00:11:34I will come to them a moment, trying to convince the British people that we are
00:11:38under siege, that we are facing invasion, I think
00:11:41it was talked about invasion when she was home
00:11:45secretary, profoundly unreasonable and
00:11:48irresponsible language, if we were facing invasion, we'd be
00:11:52facing, we'd be facing people coming over, 'who are threatening us,
00:11:56who are trying to do us harm, and we've been blowing them out the water, that's what an
00:11:59invasion is, and by the way, by the way, we're pretty damn good
00:12:03in this country
00:12:04at protecting ourselves from invasions, we haven't been successfully
00:12:08invaded,
00:12:09what is pictures on your screen,
00:12:1272,000 morockan swimming ashore in one day, the
00:12:15biggest, the biggest arrival in one single day,
00:12:19if that not is not invasion
00:12:21my friend, i saw someone write that up in
00:12:23the in the newspaper this week'. as border porn for the hard and far
00:12:27right, just relax for second, don't try and terrify the
00:12:31b, this isn't a horror movie, and the people involved in this stuff
00:12:35are almost always very, very vulnerable and desperate people. now
00:12:39let's get to the organizations themselves, to the extent that people
00:12:43want to help those who are almost inevitably going to cross the channel, which
00:12:47is an extremely difficult things, should not be done,
00:12:51right? of course, I'm sure much of it is well in.
00:12:55but I can't support groups spreading messages
00:12:59saying we should have open borders, obviously not. I am
00:13:03very, very much in favor and very defensive of our
00:13:06borders. What I don't like is the demonization of
00:13:10great swaves of people who just like you and me want them and their
00:13:14families to have better life. But I will say final thing, if you are a
00:13:18desperate dad or a desperate mum, taking your child a
00:13:22dingy across the sea is a... foundly and deeply
00:13:26irresponsible thing to do, so Michael Ellis, it appears that if you
00:13:29expose this brazen facilitation, it
00:13:33is us that are the extremists, it is us that are terrorizing
00:13:37the public. well, it seems to me that many these organizations are the
00:13:41ones that would be happy to call themselves subversive, because what
00:13:45they are openly seeking to do is subvert
00:13:49the rules when it comes to the borders of not just the
00:13:52UK, but other European countries, and they're open. many these
00:13:56organizations about that, and there are non-government
00:13:59organizations and charities for that matter across Europe, um, which
00:14:03are openly doing this and rather proud of it, so they are
00:14:07subversive organizations, and frankly, you
00:14:10know, one clip there was talking about the
00:14:14criminalization of operating boats, it's not
00:14:17anybody else who's criminalizing that conduct,
00:14:21anybody who's driving boat, carrying people across... the english
00:14:25channel in weather conditions like those that we've seen, when
00:14:29there's a risk to life that is patently obvious,
00:14:33that person is committing an offense just about under any
00:14:37country's law that I'm aware of, and certainly under UK law,
00:14:40because they are facilitating illegal
00:14:43immigration.
00:14:45No country in the world has open borders, it's not something unique to
00:14:49this country, so look, it's deeply irresponsible,
00:14:53and what we need to do is to recognize. that when people
00:14:56assist others in committing an offense, they can, they have to
00:15:00be pretty careful that they're not themselves committing a
00:15:03conspiracy to to aid others in committing an
00:15:06offense.
00:15:07so so the government is, our law enforcement agencies are clamping down on the
00:15:11people who are piloting these boats, we know
00:15:13that of course they should, of course they
00:15:17should. all i would say for these organizations, and i condemn the
00:15:21idea of open borders, that's not my politics at all, nor by the way, is it?
00:15:38want to minimize the chances them dying, matthew, let me read
00:15:40out another quote from alarm phone, also captain support, they
00:15:44say this: the arrests of traffickers the
00:15:48captains are the consequences of deadly and racist
00:15:52European border policy, they add that captains and boat drivers are
00:15:55used escape goats for violence and deaths at the border,
00:15:59and that European states and their border policies are
00:16:03responsible for this violence, they clearly believe that these
00:16:06people. are are
00:16:08guys the the people here smugglers? the vast majority these people, matthew talks
00:16:12about uh how they're in desperate need and about children, all the rest of it.
00:16:16hardly any these um people are women, hardly any them
00:16:20are under the age of 16 children, they're just
00:16:23not, the vast majority are
00:16:27adults, males - young adult males, you don't get
00:16:30even elderly email and you the vast majority, so this
00:16:34is when you see a real refugee situation. which we've all seen on
00:16:38television from around the world, you see women carrying babies and
00:16:42their entire life's possessions, in these scenes
00:16:45you never see women, you never see children or babies, some them are not,
00:16:49very few economic migrants, they want the they want the what this
00:16:53country them being granted status, so and lots them are granted
00:16:56status under a conservative government, so unless you think you were
00:17:00providing over some sort of sham i piped down on that particular issue, it's
00:17:04not i think "what we need to
00:17:08make very clear is the the nonsense coming out of reform this
00:17:12week where they claim that if the French don't give us permission under reform
00:17:15government heaven forbid we ever get there to land our
00:17:19boats on French shores they will land them
00:17:22anyway
00:17:23the British people and every single GB news viewer needs to
00:17:27know that will never ever happen that could be
00:17:31wrong because there could well be a change of regime in Jordan
00:17:34Barho's the candidate that" to be the next
00:17:38president has already agreed that he will do it, Marine Lepen is the
00:17:41candidate, we have to move on there from a spirit of opening bause juby news has
00:17:44contacted both these NGOs in question alarmphone and captain
00:17:48support for reply, but of course we have not heard back from either them,
00:17:52however alarmphone's website it just state clearly people smugglers
00:17:56only exist due to and as long as border regimes exist
00:18:00the prevent refugees and migrants from the ability to enter countries legally
00:18:04and that forces them to instead to secret exp.
00:18:08and dangerous roots, and similarly, captain support has publicly
00:18:11maintained that navigating a vessel or driving vehicle across a
00:18:15border is an act of shared survival, not an act of
00:18:18international smuggling. now both institutions also insist their aims are purely
00:18:22driven by providing humanitarian support for those who are in distress
00:18:26and prevent human rights violations. great
00:18:30sorts of show, thank you to my panel. coming up next as Cambridge's

00:18:38speculation about his alleged achievements. Tonight we'll reveal

00:22:30the man now being called the pinocchio professor to meet a sticky
00:22:34end. well earlier in the week we revealed some other parts of his
00:22:37CV including the fact that he was the first man on the moon, but
00:22:41tonight we can make even more revelations. here he
00:22:45was, porting the red sea so the Israelites could escape from Egypt,
00:22:49several thousand years ago, thank you, professor, and also you may
00:22:53have been led to believe it was Noah's og, but we can tonight reveal actually, it was
00:22:57our days ark, and finally, yes, Jason Arday walked
00:23:01on water to, as you can see, the miracles never cease, now I
00:23:05should say that in his letter he insisted his resignation should not be
00:23:08interpreted as an admission that he was misleading any way about his
00:23:12claims of his achievements on his CV, but it's an extraordinary
00:23:16tale, and actually all the culporates the entire woke.
00:23:20academic system. I'm joined now in the studio for a lively debate by the
00:23:24historian, broadcaster, great friend the show, Rafe Hadelmanku as well as
00:23:28my panel tonight, the for former Conservative attorney general Sir Michael Ellis and the
00:23:31broadcaster and journalist Matthew Stadlin. Rafe,
00:23:35let's start with you,
00:23:37the the the the claims made by the professor are well-worn
00:23:41astonishing, and it's forced him now to fall
00:23:45on his sword. What happens next? Well, the
00:23:49resignation of... jason our day, the milly vannilly of academia has
00:23:53happened, but that's not the end the story, this is national
00:23:56scandal, the question is, how is it that the brightest and the
00:24:00best people in Cambridge, allegedly were hoodwinked by this
00:24:04person, the work establishment have been humiliated, the James
00:24:08O'Briens, the Krishna Guru Merthis, leading academic
00:24:11Simon, how was it that these characters Z
00:24:14Palanski, they were all hood winked, and this really goes to show you the danger the
00:24:18woke mine virus, it's so... addled the brains these people, that they
00:24:22were incapable of seeing what all of your viewers
00:24:25and everyone else in
00:24:25the public could see, that the emperor
00:24:29had no clothes, but the real question here is, and the most important
00:24:33one, how many other Jason Arday's out there, he was caught and found out
00:24:36because he was so bold, so blatant with his outlandish
00:24:40claims, but there must be others in academia, particularly in the
00:24:44humanities, and in these nonsense disciplines like critical race theory and gender
00:24:48ideology, which already have substandard. demics who spout drivel and
00:24:51he was tatted as one their greatest, he was a world leader in critical race
00:24:55theory, now exposed as a charlotan, well what a damming indictment of critical
00:24:59race theory that is, but also of course how many doctors
00:25:02d DI doctors, DI nurses,
00:25:06pilots, architects, engineers should never have
00:25:09graduated, should never have been hired, how many their CVs? this
00:25:13is very serious, because we have to think about the safety their clients, their
00:25:16passengers, their patients, this record into question the... entire
00:25:20DII structure. It also of course has created crisis of places like Cambridge
00:25:24University, which is supposed to have a zero tolerance policy on
00:25:28plagorism, and yet it refused to examine these allegations. John
00:25:32Moore university in Liverpool cleared him of plagorism, but even
00:25:35leftly progressive academics say in their opinion he clearly was guilty of
00:25:39plagorism. All these characters were engaged in, I would say racist
00:25:43activity, because they were judging him by lower standard because
00:25:47he was black. If a white academic had done these things. they would have been kicked
00:25:51out and the police are also culpable here because they
00:25:54tried to silence a journalist who was investigating it, not a journalists from
00:25:58the sun or the mirror or tabloid, but one from the time
00:26:03times higher education, very stable, reputable, politically correct
00:26:06publication that was asking questions. this is such serious
00:26:10issue, and
00:26:11i don't think people have realized the consequences of all of this.
00:26:14astonishing thing to say there, rafe, hal,
00:26:18matthew, i'm going to start with you.
00:26:21professor arday, rafe claims is is just tip the
00:26:25iceberg. so to misquate Boris Johnson, what rafe has done
00:26:28has erect an enormous pyramid of penition.
00:26:32and unpleasant piffle: you suggest,
00:26:35for example, that the country could perfectly well see through these
00:26:39allegations, whereas people like James O'Brien a left leaning radio
00:26:43host could not. I never even heard of this man until this
00:26:47week, and I pay pretty close attention to the news. I hadn't watched the
00:26:50two or three BBC shows he had appeared as a
00:26:54commentator, so this is in my view, vicious
00:26:57witch hunt of someone who may well have done something wrong by the way, and if
00:27:01he has. he's already resigned and if he has and if this investigation or these
00:27:05investigations go on and show that he has done something wrong, of course he
00:27:09shouldn't be impost, but it is the relentlessness the
00:27:13attention, the nastiness the bullying, for example putting up photographs
00:27:17of of him there, mocking, and this is a man the family, this is
00:27:20fairly obscure Cambridge academic, I went to to Cambridge,
00:27:24a great university, I'm sure still a great university, and yet he is
00:27:28being the the tar, he is targeted by profound...
00:27:32pleasantness and used as some sort of porn against DII
00:27:36when there is not a jot of evidence that this man was
00:27:40given
00:27:40his job for anything other than the fact
00:27:42that it was thought at the time, maybe wrongly thought at the time that he
00:27:46deserved it. you're actually claiming here that the
00:27:49Pinocchio Professor is been called, is the victim?
00:27:53he certainly is victim of a really unpleasant witch hunt. that doesn't
00:27:57mean that he may not also have done things for which he
00:28:01should be sacked, we don't know. yet because we haven't had the investigations
00:28:05and his resigned ahead of this was a man who was put a pedestal by
00:28:08woke liberals who saw in him a diversity golden
00:28:12child, mean he was the identity politics bingo card
00:28:16in human form, race tick, poverty tick,
00:28:20neurodivergent tick, illiterate tick, unorthodox
00:28:23childhood tick, they were so invested in him, that's why they made him the
00:28:27youngest black professor in history, despite the lack of any academic
00:28:31excellent. that's you talk of academia, what's your evidence that he was
00:28:34appointed for those reasons? because uh, because that is all that they ever talk
00:28:38about, every time he was mentioned, it was in relation each one of
00:28:42those points.
00:28:43do you have any evidence? i have
00:28:46just told, this is how universities work, he was celebrated
00:28:49by his superior as being one the great world leaders in this concept.
00:28:53anybody who has listened to anything that he has put out can see the drivel that's
00:28:57there, the only clever things that are there are things that have been lifted from other people's
00:29:01speeches and talks. "this is
00:29:03what it is, and the question is, why were people, why was Cambridge University
00:29:06unwilling to have investigation? there were two weeks where every
00:29:10single day for the last two weeks, newspapers had devastating
00:29:14revelations, and it was only after two weeks that Cambridge University finally
00:29:18felt, it had to launch investigation. you said we didn't know about him, well
00:29:22after about three or four days we we had our idea the the guy, it took all
00:29:26these great brains at Cambridge, two weeks to come to the same conclusion we
00:29:29reach, something called process in this country." "you have not
00:29:33provided a shred of evidence that this man was wrongly appointed, as
00:29:37I've said, as I've said, if it turns out that he has
00:29:40done something wrong, then of course just like anyone else, however he's
00:29:44been heralded as you claim he has been, he shouldn't be in position,
00:29:48not that's an issue anymore, because he's been hounded out of office as it is. Are you
00:29:52seriously telling me that if this man had been a white professor
00:29:56that he would have led the news bulletins or led the front pages for as long as
00:30:00he has, absolutely not, held to a far higher
00:30:03standard than other academics, he is in the role he is
00:30:07in because he has been judged by lower stand, no evidence, no
00:30:11evidence, man is fake, the man
00:30:15fabricated everything, his academic output is so
00:30:18excruciatingly bad and yet he was still held up as one
00:30:22the great leaders of critical race theory,
00:30:24what a damming indictment for critical race theory, gentleman
00:30:27we have to call time on yet another spirit of debate, thank you to you
00:30:30both, some get a word in we have more of you shortly. now GB News has
00:30:34contacted professor Arday for comment, but he has previously denied allegations
00:30:38of plagerism a statements released by his friends the good law project,
00:30:42professor Arday said, sadly the years since my appointment have also been marked
00:30:46by an unrelenting level of public scrutiny and personal attack, the
00:30:50relentless accusations, speculation, and public commentary have taken a
00:30:54profound toll on me and on those I love, and he previously
00:30:58told the Times that he lacked adequate supervision during his Ph.D
00:31:02because of... autism and his learning difficulties, you also said that he was
00:31:05accountable for mistakes, but what i am is not
00:31:08a liar. thank you rave, thank you matthew,

00:36:54Now moving on, now here's reminder of that moment earlier in the... when the reform
00:36:58UK leader Nigel Farage made this revelation about a possible
00:37:02pact with reform and restore if you want to do a
00:37:05political deal with somebody you know you would contact them
00:37:09privately and not do a 12-minute video that
00:37:12said that said I
00:37:16did I did actually reach out back yesterday to him I did say
00:37:20look should we have call I haven't heard back
00:37:22yet well beyond a row involving
00:37:26private whatsapps. between the two, since then, there yet, there is yet to
00:37:30be any developments, however, in another blistering comment piece from the
00:37:34Sunday telegraph editor Alicer Heath, he has claimed that an
00:37:37alliance would be disaster, not least because restores positions
00:37:41ver frequently into bigotry and overstep the bounds
00:37:45of civilized discourse. I'm delighted to be joined now by the author of that
00:37:49piece in person, that's the editor the Sunday telegraph, Alicer Heath as well as my
00:37:53panel, so Michael Ellis and Matthew Stadlin. Alicer,
00:37:57another... listering piece, it's fair to say you put the cat amongst the pigeons, the
00:38:00headline says it all, 7,000 telegraph
00:38:04responders have got suck in. Nigel Farage must
00:38:07reject Rupert Low's repugnat dance with white
00:38:11nationalism. Yes, um, I believe in that strongly, I think
00:38:15it's time for people on the mainstream rights to make a
00:38:18stand, to take a stand and to basically say that there's two,
00:38:22there's two big debates here, the people like me who believe that
00:38:26immigration should be dr. dramatically reduced, that you know illegal
00:38:30immigrants should be kicked out, that there should be integration, that we
00:38:33should wage a fight against islamism, and that we should uh
00:38:37be proud to be British, we should love this country, and that we should embrace
00:38:41people who are willing to love this country, and my position is that
00:38:45you can become British, um, you can choose to become
00:38:48British, and it is not about race and it's not about your parents or
00:38:52grandparents or great grandparents, right, so um, and
00:38:55unfortunately there's a group of people, some of whom are supporters of
00:38:59restore that don't agree with that and have much more ethnic
00:39:03definition of britishness. i think that's where the whole
00:39:07argument balls down to, and um, i just don't agree with that, i think that's
00:39:10wrong, and i think uh, we should be, you know, the the parties the
00:39:14right should be civic nationalist parties, um, you know,
00:39:18people who love Britain, who've become British citizens, are British,
00:39:22regardless the color their skin, i think that is the key argument here, i also
00:39:26disagree restore. a bunch of specific policies, for example, they want
00:39:30to ban coach slaughter, arupet lo said that he was a
00:39:33barbaric and anti-british practice in that video that he
00:39:37he made uh intended for naaj faraj, that's complete
00:39:41nonsense, um, there's being kosd in this country ever since there's been Jews in this
00:39:45country, and Jews are British patriots, um, he, there's
00:39:49all sorts of other points like that, but I think fundamentally uh, there's a
00:39:53big row here uh, and the row is about, can you become
00:39:57British? "you also claim that's Rupert Loe again, you're not you're not
00:40:00sparing any punches, is deluded egotist who is toxifying
00:40:04British politics, fanning the fires of racial and religious
00:40:08strifes and risks handing permanent power to Andy
00:40:12Burnham's leftist revolutionaries, that's fair to say quite a few of your own
00:40:15readers dis disagree with your opinion piece, oh yes the top-rated
00:40:19comments on the articles by reader called David Jones saying, oh Alice, I'm
00:40:23disappointed, I'm normally a big fan of your articles, but this attack on
00:40:26Rupert..." is totally desperate, well it's not desperate, I think it's
00:40:30essential, I think obviously uh his behavior is entirely
00:40:34destructive, because he's bringing in all this kind of
00:40:37obsessive race-linked debate, for example today he was
00:40:41unable to say that the king was wide British uh, because under
00:40:45certain definitions the king isn't white British, well if the king isn't white British who's white
00:40:49British, um, I think you can become British, that's the
00:40:53key, um, and obviously the king's British, uh, and secondly, obviously
00:40:57he's... the right because he's deliberately standing to try and
00:41:00destroy uh reform and that means
00:41:04that the chances of there being some sort of right-wing majority in parliament or diminishing. may I
00:41:08ask you, is is your goal aside from obviously
00:41:11evicerating Rupert Loe and Restore to try and forge an
00:41:15alliance between the conservatives and Nigel Farage and yet
00:41:18today said she wouldn't do that, she thinks that reformer
00:41:22woke. yeah, I mean, this
00:41:24is where it all becomes ridiculous, more and more ridiculous, right? I mean, yes, I think
00:41:27ultimately that there probably will need to be some sort of agreement between reform and the
00:41:31conservatives as things count to stand, obviously things can change dramatically and so
00:41:35on, but at the moment I think there be there need to be some kind of agreement of that
00:41:39nature. I do... think there should be an agreement between either reform or the
00:41:43conservative party will restore because I think they are beyond the
00:41:47pale. I totally agree with Alister Heath. Of course what
00:41:50he said is absolutely right. The absurdity the argument is
00:41:53proven by this point about the king. Anyone who cannot answer the
00:41:57question it is the king white British
00:42:00with affirmative answer is frankly showing the absurdity their own
00:42:04case. Look, not only that, I absolutely agree
00:42:08that this assault on the... community by effectively saying
00:42:12that kosher is unacceptable and unbritish,
00:42:16that the british people, british jews have been in this country for a thousand years
00:42:19and they've always practiced their religion in that way,
00:42:23sometimes having to do so privately and secretly, yes, but that is
00:42:27not acceptable and
00:42:28there many these arguments are not acceptable that are being put by
00:42:32those if if i may um interject and say that
00:42:35restore you britan supporters would say that they obviously
00:42:38claim lot racis and they care about closing our boards, they care
00:42:42about protecting the British population, they care about protecting British
00:42:46culture, is is it unfair to characterize them as frothing
00:42:49racists? well, I don't, look, people on the right very
00:42:53largely accept that immigration has gone too far in this
00:42:56country, there should be removal the sheer
00:43:00vast numbers, illegal immigrants need to
00:43:04be stopped, the immigration in this country has broken large parts of our
00:43:08society, that is acceptable
00:43:10and all that of course was was wished in by the conservative party, well it's not not wished
00:43:14in at all by the conservative party, but look, it's all easy to go
00:43:18back into history, there's a new leader the conservative party now and that's
00:43:22what we should focus on, mean when you see football team changes its manager, you don't say i'm never going
00:43:26to support that football team again because they lost the last few matches, we now got
00:43:30a different, we've got a different captain of our team and they're
00:43:34showing what they need to show, but look you
00:43:37know it isn't it isn't about the color of someone's skin,
00:43:39it is about that, it isn't about their ethnicity or where their grandfather
00:43:43or father came from, it's about being loyal to this country, loving this
00:43:47country, supporting the country, anyone can do that if they choose to do
00:43:51it, matthew sad, i'm going to bring you in a rare moment, you haven't said much in this part, what
00:43:55do you make about this bun fight between in the last part,
00:43:58but i commend allister on his very
00:44:02powerfully written piece and what a relief to find someone who's as talented as
00:44:06Allister as a writer saying something as that i think
00:44:10is as important as what he's just said, I don't agree with everything in the article, but a
00:44:14line in the sand has to be drawn. I
00:44:17am opposed to much of what Nigel Farage stands for, but
00:44:21there's no doubt in my mind that Rupert Low is considerably to the right even
00:44:25of Nigel Farage, and for a prominent journalist
00:44:29the right, such as you, Alister, editor no less the Sunday Telegraph
00:44:33a esteemed publication to draw that line in the sand and yes to
00:44:37get some blowback from some unpleasant characters, I think... is
00:44:40really important, I just say one more thing, the temptation for the
00:44:44tories and for labor is somehow to celebrate
00:44:48or secretly wish on the increasing prominence of Rupert
00:44:51Loe because it's electurably help, electorally helpful because it's so
00:44:55damaging to reform, but no, a civilized society, when you find
00:44:59ethnonationalism being promoted in the way it is, you have to say no, we
00:45:03have to move on, gentlemen, thank
00:45:04you very much allister, thank you sir Michael, thank you to you, Matthew Staden, coming up just

00:49:22Welcome back to Duby News tonight with me Martin Dorby, now tonight's finale, do you
00:49:26want Britain to look like
00:49:28this?
00:49:37Yes, those on your screens, are the architectural blueprint plans
00:49:41for a 13 story mega mosque in the leafy suburb of
00:49:45North London's queens park. Yes, plans have been submitted for the
00:49:49Albanian Megaamosk, as you might expect local are
00:49:53up in arms and I have a feeling it might be something to do with the fact that within
00:49:56a three-mile radius there are
00:50:00already 39 mosks and Islamic centers,
00:50:03so does this already mosque rich area really need
00:50:07further cultural enrichment? I'm del to be joined now in my studio by my
00:50:11panel, sir Michael Ellis, Matthew Stadden and as ever hoving interview like
00:50:14vision is Sir Jake Reasm because State the Nation is
00:50:18up next. So Michael, let's start with you, a 13 story
00:50:21megaamos. touring over London, do we need it? Well, this is the million-dollar
00:50:25question. If it isn't appropriate in that area, if it isn't actually
00:50:29needed, then it shouldn't be permitted, not because it's a mosk, but
00:50:33because is it right to build a 13 story edifice for
00:50:37any use in that particular area. Is it
00:50:40proportionate, are there going to be enough parking spaces? Is it going to be too
00:50:44much of an imposition on people? If you're going to say, well, I'm not going
00:50:48to allow huge cinema complex or shopping center to...
00:50:52be built of those proportions in that particular area, then those rules
00:50:56shouldn't be discarded just because it's religious building.
00:51:00in other words, the same rule should apply, is it proportionate, is it
00:51:04relevant, is it sustainable in that area? and also i
00:51:08do think that there's an aesthetic value to these things,
00:51:11these for me it is important that buildings
00:51:15look nice, they look appropriate for their area, they fit in with
00:51:19the area, so it's that's what's relevant, whether it's a
00:51:23mosque or or or a church or any other religious building, whether it is a
00:51:27proportionate size and and style. Matthew Stadland, there
00:51:31are three floors to prayer on, there's a
00:51:34morg in there, there are children's areas
00:51:37and I guess the point is this, if you drive past a mosk
00:51:39a Friday as I do every week on the way into work, the parking is issue
00:51:43even a small mosk, the locals all saying it's about that, there have been
00:51:46nearly 250 comments, most them entirely
00:51:49negative, do we need this, you're attacking? issue Martin, with the
00:51:53same sort of gusto with which you attacked the question of migrant leaflets
00:51:57at the top the show, so I'm struggling to keep an entirely straight face, this is actually down the road
00:52:01from me, this is down in queens. park,
00:52:05my concern would be, yeah, look, it's a predominantly local
00:52:08issue, and there are concerns, I'm sure about parking and so forth, I
00:52:12do think that why proportionality matters, it matters both in terms
00:52:16the location, it's largely, I think residential
00:52:19area, but I think it also matters in something
00:52:23that's harder to put one's finger on, I am all in favor of free, freedom
00:52:27of religious expression in this country, I know Sir Jacob is as well, I think we
00:52:31all are, and that is absolutely vital part of our unwritten.
00:52:35constitution without it we're lost, we don't have proper freedom, but
00:52:39I'm also very strongly in favor of integration, and I worry that if you were
00:52:43to amalgamate lots of smaller mosks if that if that's
00:52:47what would happen in effect into one giant mosk
00:52:49that will you describe it, I think slightly comicly as a megaamos, maybe
00:52:53deliberately, then I do I worry, I worry that
00:52:57that has the potential for slightly more
00:53:00divisive rather than integrating narrative, so building
00:53:04a... gigantic obelisk it isn't
00:53:08divisive, but to complain about it, would be concerned about it. um,
00:53:12sir jacob, it's
00:53:13me that's been dev. no, michael makes a very fair point, there I say rather
00:53:17bureaucratic point about planning law, and planning law has to
00:53:21be the same across the country, I think our planning law is dreadful,
00:53:24disastrous and nitpicky, but nonetheless that's what it is, and I don't
00:53:28think you get a get out of jail free card for religion.
00:53:32um, I've got a brilliant suggestion, why don't they... swap haggia Sofia and
00:53:36bring that back to Christianity and in return we could
00:53:39contribute to a megaamosque in London. I think we got Hagiah Sofia back, the church
00:53:43of Constantine,
00:53:44that would be what, what about my point about integration and
00:53:48the importance of that? I make point about beauty. I think what was shown on the screen is just
00:53:52deeply ugly, and I don't want to see more ugly buildings in London. I don't
00:53:56like skyscrapers, I don't think they fit in with London. Okay, gentlemen, thank you very
00:54:00much. Jacob states the nation is up next, what's on your menu sir? Whether or not we're
00:54:04bust? three trillion pounds worth of
00:54:07debt, that our deficit is greater than
00:54:11our nominal growth rate, that means the debt gets bigger and bigger
00:54:15every year, it is debt that we share in, we are all jointly
00:54:19and severally liable for this three trillion pounds worth of debt, how
00:54:23we going to pay it off, is the country teatering on the edge of bankruptcy, and there
00:54:27is the national debt rising as we speak at an eye
00:54:30watering amount, thank you very much to Jacob, thank
00:54:33you to michael, thank you I'm going to go and hop in the back car, I'm going
00:54:37down to Essex for Patrick Chris's live at 9 p.m. I'll see you
00:54:41then, so Jacob, he's up
00:54:43next,
00:54:48expect warm spells with the odd rude
00:54:52interruption, box boiler sponsors the weather
00:54:56on GB News, good evening, welcome to your latest GB
00:55:00news, weather update brought to you from the mat office, a warmer day to come for many of
00:55:03us for Friday. sunny spells for many, but much the rain will
00:55:07remain focused across more northwestern areas, but most
00:55:10notably across the far north and west of Scotland. as a weatherfronts
00:55:14approaching throughout this evening elsewhere, high pressure will dominate to
00:55:18bring a dry and clear night for many, so it is going to be a cooler
00:55:22night for much of England and Wales, some eastern areas of Scotland as
00:55:26well as northern Ireland, rurally temperatures falling away down to the low single
00:55:30figures, towns and cities will be a little bit warmer than that to start the
00:55:34day, but still... pretty fresh wherever you are, a strong wind across the
00:55:38far north and west of Scotland will accompany the heavy rain, they'll persist
00:55:42through much of Friday across the western irs as well as the
00:55:45highlands, some heavy bursts in that with strong gusty near gale
00:55:49force winds, much dryer though for more eastern areas of Scotland as well as more
00:55:53southern areas where it will remain relatively warm through much the day.
00:55:57northern island seeing fine start to the day, temperatures around 14 or 15
00:56:01degrees here and elsewhere across England, apart from the odd shower across some...
00:56:05coastal areas, it will be dry and sunny start to the
00:56:08day, then there will be more in the way of sunshine than we've had today
00:56:12across much the country, and that means it will be a little bit warmer
00:56:16too, it's not going to be wall to wall blue skies, but plenty of bright
00:56:20sunshine through the day, particularly across some southern areas of England
00:56:24as well as northern Ireland and southern areas of Scotland where temperatures will
00:56:27climb to the mid-20s across the south and east, 25
00:56:31degrees likely across southeastern areas, a warmer day.
00:56:35to come on Saturday, rain still persisting though across more northwestern
00:56:39areas, the winds will be a little bit lighter, but still quite a wet day
00:56:42here, elsewhere though, remaining dry, temperatures starting to climb as
00:56:46we pick up a southerly wind, so it's going to be a hot day on Saturday, even
00:56:50hotter though on Sunday most likely across the southeast with highs of
00:56:5431 degrees. Bye-bye, expect warm
00:56:58spells with the odd rude
00:57:01interruption, box boiler sponsors the weather.
