00:00:13on,
00:00:21hello to you and
00:00:21of very very warm welcome to GB
00:00:23a News tonight, with me your host Martin Dorby, Brexit is back and
00:00:27also coming up tonight
00:00:29of show, of we will.
00:00:30of end the asylum
00:00:32a system for up to five years, we literally have no idea
00:00:36who is here, and we frankly can't
00:00:40of afford to take the risk.
00:00:44today reform UK has announced
00:00:45its new plan to shut down Britain's broken asylum system,
00:00:49starting with deporting everyone applying for refugee status
00:00:52and also sanctioning
00:00:54of countries of that refuse to take them back. is this the radical plan Britain
00:00:58needs to secure its broken? borders and
00:01:01a meanwile open to
00:01:02a discussion about our relationship with the
00:01:05of EU of in the longer term. as
00:01:09the prime minister Andy Burnham today unveiled his plan to drag Britain
00:01:13back into the European Union's orbit, he has been undermined by his
00:01:17own minister over claims that Russia interfered in the Brexit
00:01:20referendum and also tonight. what do you think your parents and grandparents
00:01:24would make of England today? they'd be
00:01:26horrified, horrified.
00:01:30of I'll
00:01:32of be joined by the investitive journalist Stephen Edington to discuss here's
00:01:36astonishing new documentary: Britain before mass
00:01:39of migration, of as told by those have been live long enough to see
00:01:43just how the
00:01:44of country
00:01:44a has changed so drastically and gone down the toilet and finally
00:01:48tonight.
00:01:50a Secretary Rubio confirmed that the American position hasn't changed, so
00:01:54of from our point of view there's been no change to to their stance. The
00:01:57of invitation is
00:01:58a there that Donald Trump wants to come here. Yeah, of course,
00:02:00yeah. As GB News reports live from the
00:02:04Falkland Islands, exclusive revealing the island of invitation to
00:02:08President Donald Trump. We can also reveal how residents there have been
00:02:12subjected to sustained, taunting campaign of
00:02:16intimidation by Argentinians, which include cyber
00:02:19attacks, abusive
00:02:20of phone calls and even Argentinians on the streets haranging
00:02:24of folklanders.
00:02:24of That's all
00:02:29a a come, that's all to come on tonight's action pack show, but first is time for the latest news headlines. Here's Bethany
00:02:34of Elsi
00:02:36of Martin, thank you,
00:02:40good evening, your top stories from the GB News room at two minutes past seven.
00:02:44The prime minister has urged MPs to be open to
00:02:47seeking closer ties to the European Union, insisting the
00:02:51status quo is not good enough for Britain. At key summit next month,
00:02:55the two sides will seek to sign
00:02:57a new food and drink agreement, a youth mobility. scheme and
00:03:01pact on emissions trading, which the PM hopes could provide a
00:03:05of 10 billion pound boost to the economy, addressing the commons, Andy
00:03:09Burnham said it would be a dereliction of duty not to seek
00:03:12a deeper partnership, and promised the British public will be the boss
00:03:16at every stage of
00:03:18of renegotiations. of Andy Burnah says
00:03:21of it's
00:03:25of of inconceivable to think Russia of hadn't sought to interfere in the Brexit referendum. The prime ministers face backlash
00:03:29of over his suggestion. Moscow had tried to influence the vote, but
00:03:33he
00:03:33of insists he was not trying to question the legitimacy
00:03:36of the 2016 referendum, and has tried to
00:03:40a clarify that any Russian interference was not successful in
00:03:44of swaying the
00:03:44of outcome. The foreign secretary says
00:03:48Britain will not tolerate threats on our soil following last month's suspected
00:03:52terror plot at arferford. Edm Laband has summoned the
00:03:56Iranian ambassador to the UK and sanction two senior.
00:04:00Iranian officials, the prime minister says the incident at the
00:04:03airbase in Glostershire
00:04:05of was highly likely coordinated
00:04:07of in Iran and almost certainly directed by the
00:04:14a of IRGC. Ukraine's president Vladimir Zelensky says it's increasingly clear Russia
00:04:17of is of of unwilling to accept a US proposed ceasefire
00:04:20of on energy strikes. Moscow has hit six Ukrainian
00:04:24energy facilities today despite
00:04:26of Donald Trump announcing both countries had agreed
00:04:29of to assess. fire just yesterday. Russia's foreign minister says Ukraine
00:04:33deserves no rest bite. The
00:04:37of council respon responsible for licensing Yorkshire Wildlife Park where
00:04:41a
00:04:41of man of was killed by
00:04:44of a tiger has launched a health and safety investigation. The man entered the Tiger's enclosure
00:04:48on Saturday and despite the efforts of medical teams he was pronounced
00:04:52a dead at the scene. The park remained closed
00:04:54today. And a World War II
00:04:58veteran
00:04:58of Henry Rice has done. at the age of
00:05:01of 100, he served as a signal man on HMS Eastway as part
00:05:04of the Normandy landings and arrived at Juno beach 5 days after
00:05:09in D-day. Previously speaking to
00:05:10in GB News he was concerned his could repeat
00:05:13itself. how important is it to you that we
00:05:17remember all of our troops at the eye troops who risk their
00:05:21lives on that day? obviously it's
00:05:24most important, but having said that,
00:05:28why shall i go different and say why are
00:05:32certain people in the world today having
00:05:36lived during this period? why are they trying
00:05:40to do it all over again? You're up to date for
00:05:44now, I'll be back with more an
00:05:45hour. Take the GB
00:05:49News family with you any device. As long as you have an internet
00:05:52connection, tune into GB News anywhere on the planet or
00:05:56beyond.
00:06:05Thank you Bethany, welcome back to GB News tonight with me Martin Dorby. Here's tonight's
00:06:09question: does Britain's asylum system need to
00:06:12completely shut down, all we're asking here is for
00:06:16normality, all we're asking here is for
00:06:19normal service to be resumed, and so
00:06:23yes, we will end the asylum system for up
00:06:27to five years, and why are we going to do that? because we're
00:06:31in the most terrible mess as a country, we literally have no
00:06:35idea who is here, and we frankly
00:06:39can't afford to take the risk.
00:06:44Yesterday, reform UK is promising to suspend Britain's asylum system
00:06:48for five years if it wins power, no new asylum claims
00:06:52will be processed, asylum tribunals completely suspended,
00:06:56legal refugeee routes and resettlement schemes completely shuts
00:07:00down, and perhaps most significantly of all, reform says it will
00:07:03begin removing people who are already in Britain rather than just
00:07:07concentrating on those arriving in the future, reminder since
00:07:11the small boats crisis. began in 2018, more than
00:07:14200,000 illegals have made the crossing across the channel
00:07:18in small boats and now mega thing is, and how many have been actually return to
00:07:22another country? less than 5%. that's right,
00:07:26of all the people have arrived on small boats around
00:07:2895%, 95%, have never been
00:07:32returned, and reform UK is pledging to remove all of those
00:07:36people, where they've been granted asylum or not, and yet
00:07:40there's more. does that mean?
00:07:44in the case of Pakistan that we
00:07:46have to bring in visa bans will do so, if
00:07:50it means threatening Pakistani national assets in
00:07:54London, we will do so, if it means introducing flight
00:07:58bands, we will do
00:08:00so, yes of
00:08:04course Britain has faced longstanding problems, stubben problems
00:08:07indeed with deporting illegal migrants and foreign criminals to
00:08:11various. is as you can see on your screens now, but reform
00:08:15solution today, it's also pledged to introduce visa bans,
00:08:19tariffs, tradeback tarifs and also airline restrictions to
00:08:23countries like Pakistan and even Afghanistan to pressure them to
00:08:27take back their nationals, so the deportation of migrants,
00:08:30whether they've been granted asylum or not a total and complete shutdown
00:08:34the asylum system itself for five years and also threats to
00:08:38countries who refuse to take back their garbage, is this the?
00:08:42as the my Britain's broken immigration system so desperately
00:08:46needs delight now to be joining the studio in Westminster by
00:08:49Reform UK's home affair spokesman panel
00:08:52as tonight well the historian the broadcaster rafe Hadal
00:08:56and GB News a senior political commentator Nigel
00:08:59Nelson first to you it's bold it's
00:09:03brassy and it's out there can you quantify for us how many
00:09:06people would be deported well we got to deport everyone who's in the
00:09:10country illegally
00:09:11and I'm afraid. lot of people, mean it's certainly more than million, you're trying to count the
00:09:15uncountable, obviously successive governments have gone out their way, try and shield the figure,
00:09:19could
00:09:20be lot more
00:09:20than million, but we've got
00:09:21to do it, and so this will be, you if Nigel's elect as a prime minister, I'm the home
00:09:25secretary, we'll embark upon the biggest mass deportation program this country has ever
00:09:29seen,
00:09:29and again I stake no joy in saying that, but it is a proportionate and
00:09:32commensurat response with the fact that the toys and labor have let, as Nigel
00:09:36said, unheard of number of people about whom we know next to
00:09:40nothing, and it's worth reiterating some these points. because the're so mind-blowing
00:09:44you see this stuff, and lot of people, some
00:09:46of my friends say, oh, this is a conspiracy theory, no, a convicted terrorist from Italy
00:09:49came to Britain a on, we call it a small
00:09:53boat, a man came in a small boat and then attempted a mass
00:09:56casualty terrorist attack and was thwarted by MI5, a man came
00:10:00over a small boat, threatened to kill, threatened to assassinate
00:10:04sitting member of parliament, happens to be my friend and the leader of reform UK Nigel frage,
00:10:08i could go on, an
00:10:09illegal migrant savagely stab to death uh young
00:10:13lady as she waited a train station, where was her police escort, Mr.
00:10:17Burnham, where was her police escort, and so therefore we're now a
00:10:21situation where despite everything I've just said, despite the fact that... British people
00:10:25with their warm and generous hearts, they have done more than their
00:10:29fair share, taken more than their fair share, almost million people have claimed asilum in this country
00:10:33the last two decades a cost of 32 billion pounds in real
00:10:37terms, and yet how does Andy Burnam respond? He lays on
00:10:40police escorts for men invading the country, and somehow has
00:10:44also convinced himself that what Britain wants is more safe
00:10:48and legal roots for Afghans to come in, so what we've announced today is very
00:10:51simple, we've announced we're going to
00:10:53have to shut down the asylum. I'm sorry, Britain is
00:10:57full until we've deported everyone who's already in the country illegally
00:11:01and we've gotten this country back its feet where British people are not being literally left for
00:11:05dead waiting for ambulances for example go around the country look at how many people are
00:11:08struggling to get GP appointments do you found out I
00:11:12was in Dover today there are places in Dover which are hire
00:11:16which service illegal migrants exclusively who are offering GPS
00:11:20twice the going rate twice the going
00:11:24rate to. and give healthcare to people who broke into the country, and I
00:11:28speak to, I spoke to a man called Arthur who driven buses for 40 years in
00:11:32Dover, he's got a bad hip, he's been waiting well over year, coming up to two years now on the
00:11:35NHS for his hip, he come
00:11:37he can't get a GP appointment, he can't find a dentist that he can afford, and this is how the
00:11:41country rewards a man who's driven bass for 40 years in that town and has done
00:11:45the right thing um throughout his life, we've got to put British people
00:11:49first, we're shutting down the asylum system, I'm as home secretary, I will clear the
00:11:53asylum backlog, you hear a lot about we're going to clear. the asylum backlog, I'll clear it by
00:11:56deporting everybody who's in it, simple as that, where to so number
00:12:00one, back to their home country, that will include countries like Afghanistan, and
00:12:04before the Guardian and the BBC and good morning Britain starts screaming at
00:12:08me, as they did when we first said that we would do this, uh, it then
00:12:11transpires, not only did Kia Starmer then say he was working on return
00:12:15agreement with Afghanistan of all people, but it's also been
00:12:19revealed that Germany now routinely deports Afghan nationals back to
00:12:23Afghanistan using Qatar as
00:12:24an intermediate. Yerry, we're going to deport them back to countries like Pakistan, again
00:12:27a BBC Radio 4 interview this morning, they said, yeah, but Mr.
00:12:31Yusuf, what possible leverage would we have on this country that we're giving billions of
00:12:35pounds of foreign aid to and granting hundreds of thousands of visas? what possible
00:12:39leverage uh could we possibly have? it's complete nonsense. we haven't had a prime
00:12:43minister in number 10 downing street who is willing to fight the corn the British people,
00:12:47be relentlessly focused on doing what's right for British people, not
00:12:50foreign nationals, and if we do that, we will start to make huge inr.
00:12:55into this massive problem that we have, we'll get our country back its feet again. okay
00:12:59z, thank you very much, stick with us for now, but Nigel Nelson, I'd like to bring you and we clearly
00:13:03have a broken system, is this the solution? well, it just seems to be
00:13:06that uh reform uh and the other other
00:13:10two parties on the right are just trying to trying to be as
00:13:14extreme as possible, so um restore
00:13:18came up with this policy back in February, the toris claim that
00:13:22they've also got it, you had Robert Genrick this morning
00:13:25saying that - royal marines who return migrants would have
00:13:29would be able to use lethal force against them, it seems that
00:13:33that it just gets more and more extreme and and two years ago on GB
00:13:37News Digel Farage says this is not a political possibility, he said
00:13:41he wasn't going to go there because it couldn't be done. okay,
00:13:45so
00:13:45you you haven't actually addressed any the substantive points that we make, but I want to address the point about
00:13:49royal marines, I've spoken to lot of royal marines, I was down in Gospel, within
00:13:53iesight the home of... I've spoken to lots of serving royal
00:13:57marines and former royal marines, one them one of those interactions is on is on
00:14:00social media, and they are devastated, they tell me to have to stand idly
00:14:04by and watch as what they view as their home is invaded by
00:14:08the dictionary definition the term by men from countries that hate Britain and pose
00:14:12security threat here, and what I've said, and this was in, this isn't some escalation that we're doing for
00:14:16social media, this was in the document that I drafted with our policy team and former members of his
00:14:20majesty's armed forces who helped draft the policy, operation fortress on our
00:14:24website. what we said was in the event, so
00:14:28so primarily
00:14:28it is humanitarian mission, there's almost 200 migrants have died making that
00:14:32journey, but every single vessel that is unauthorized and illegally trying to get to
00:14:36oshalls will be intercepted by his majesty's raw marines and will be taken back to
00:14:39France, however in the event that for example known people
00:14:43smugglers who are evil people and many them are we have good
00:14:47intelligence suggesting they are carrying firearms in some cases, gb news has done an
00:14:51expose about houti rebel remember who came across like that or...
00:14:55make in sure the he's event
00:14:55that there are terrorists on those vessels our marines
00:14:59will be authorized in order to protect innocent
00:15:03life if they have to to use lethal force and by the way it would be
00:15:06insane dereliction of duty to not give them that capability
00:15:10given I want to repeat it there are some very evil men coming
00:15:14across that English channel if you want to be willfully blind about that that's your
00:15:18problem well then you you'll need to actually talk to your treasury spokesman got
00:15:21to that qualification worked out.
00:15:25Robert Generic say anything that contradicts what I just said, I think with respect,
00:15:29either you just read slightly hysterical caption above the video, or you yourself
00:15:33bisunderstood, he didn't qualify, he didn't qualify when it came down to
00:15:36terrorists or... people smugglers, they would be authorized
00:15:40to use force, which is our position, but as I said, it is in
00:15:43very authorized to use, and again, it would be
00:15:47willfully neglectful, it would put our own boys in danger,
00:15:51and it would imparal the people on those boats, if our boys were not
00:15:55able to use lethal force, if they came face to face with the kind of evil we're talking
00:15:59about, we have confirmed intelligence that they are there, and that those people
00:16:03pose a direct threat to life, this policy was drafted in conjunction,
00:16:07fact most the policy was drafted by former senior members of his majesty's
00:16:11armed forces, it's a credible plan, that's also why it's been endorsed by the only
00:16:15world leader who can honestly say that he has ended a small boat
00:16:19illegal migrant crisis which is uh former prime minister of Australia Tony
00:16:22Aber he's indorse the plan too, well the situation is absolutely different, I mean
00:16:26Australia is the Australian system or or the Australian
00:16:30situation is not the same as the English Channel for a
00:16:33start, but the the
00:16:36the there are no international wards. over in Calle 150
00:16:39miles between Australia and Indonesia, it's it's different
00:16:43here, because unlike Australia we've imported vast numbers of people who are rapists,
00:16:47who are murderers, who are gang members, who are extremists, who are
00:16:50terrorists, you say these are extreme measures, these are extreme times, I think I'm
00:16:54the only commentator who for about eight or nine years has consistently called for us to leave the
00:16:581951 UN convention on refugees, you want to just disallow it, I
00:17:02think it's an excellent policy, it's time that people stood up and said and call
00:17:06things out and said stick having our compassion used and
00:17:10abused. We don't want to have a standing army of young
00:17:14fit men in this country ready to mobilize at the drop of a hat.
00:17:18You know, these people are not asylum seekers. Asylum seekers don't leave
00:17:22behind their mothers, their daughters, their sisters, their wives behind,
00:17:26and they're coming from France. Yeah, these are economic migrants, they're going to France, they're not leaving
00:17:29hell, well you could say France is hell at the moment, but they're not, they they're living
00:17:33safe country, orivoir, go, back you go, bonnvayage.
00:17:37but they're not they're not going to cale to go sightsing uh, they're going to
00:17:41cale specifically to cross the channel to get to Britain, yes,
00:17:45so from the French point of view, it's not their problem, it's our problem.
00:17:49okay, gentlemen, we have to
00:17:51deal with, we cerly put as it might say the channel,
00:17:54nigel superb, rafe always, thank you very much indeed,
00:17:57z. now moving on, just moment's
00:18:01time, open to discussion about our
00:18:05relationship with the EU in the longer
00:18:10As Andy Burnham today unveils his plans to drag Britain back into
00:18:14the EU's orbit, a love letter to Brussels. He has been undermined by
00:18:17his own minister over claims that Russia interfered in the Brexit
00:18:21referendum, the biggest Romaniac myth of all is back. That's
00:18:25next.

00:21:39welcome back to very lively edition of GB news tonight with me, your host Martin Dordman.
00:21:43here was our prime minister, Andy Burnom early this afternoon, rolling the
00:21:46pitch for dragging Britain back into his beloved European Union.
00:21:50"open to discussion about our relationship with the EU
00:21:54in the longer term. If we are
00:21:57serious, if we are serious
00:22:01about promoting growth, controlling
00:22:04immigration, upholding our values and security, it is
00:22:08a conversation we must have.
00:22:12Sticking with the status quo is not good
00:22:15enough for Britain. This comes after..."
00:22:20having said this to the left-wing act activist podcast,
00:22:24rejoin a central, the rest is politics. I
00:22:28asked the question, coming into Downing Street, well, was there interference in
00:22:32the 2016 referendum from Russia, and I've had the clear answer that yes, there
00:22:36was and these things are important now to put
00:22:39clearly on the record, and I believe, help
00:22:43voters in Germany and France understand that some of this
00:22:47politics is instigated. via uh
00:22:51our enemies, namely uh Russia. Yes, it's back. The
00:22:55greatest remainian myth of all, you didn't know what you're voting for, because
00:22:58Vladimir Putin made you do it. However, this just
00:23:02this morning, Mr. Burnham was contradicted by his own
00:23:05minister. Did they succeed when it come to the Brexit
00:23:08referendum? Was that an effective attempt? Well, the
00:23:12the the security minister spoken about this before and he's been very clear that they've attempted to, um, they
00:23:16haven't succeeded.
00:23:20so let's be crystal clear, has Andy Burnam, our prime minister fallen for the
00:23:23Romaniac's greatest ever conspiracy theory, and that's saying
00:23:27something that 17.4 million people were duped into
00:23:31voting for independence by Russia, well as Andy Buren prepares to
00:23:35roll the pinch for digging up the old Brexit versus remain
00:23:38arguments. Perhaps we all to remember when he said this six months
00:23:42ago, if you is that Brexit has been
00:23:45damaging, but I also believe the last thing we should do...
00:23:50right now is rerun those arguments, but it is
00:23:54time, surely isn't it, to bring people back together, to
00:23:57focus on what we've got in common. i am not proposing that the UK
00:24:01considers rejoining the EU. I respect the decision that was made at the
00:24:05referendum, and it's going to undermine everything said, I've said about
00:24:09strengthening democracy, if we don't respect that
00:24:12vote. Andy Burnham wouldn't dream of
00:24:16resurrecting the rejoint campaign, except today he did.
00:24:20I'm joined now by my panel, the historian
00:24:21the broadcast of Raif Hadelmancu and GB news is senior political commentator
00:24:25Nigel Nelson. Rafe in the comments today, a love
00:24:29letter with red rose betwixt his teeth to Brussil on
00:24:33November the 20th, we now know there'll be a summit with Ursola Von delay and
00:24:37four things on the radar, boosting UK growth by 10
00:24:40billion pounds with no proof of where that would come from, controlling illegal
00:24:44immigration like the continent has ever managed to do that,
00:24:48energy corporation and... a youth
00:24:51experience scheme, what's not to like? how much time
00:24:55do you have? how long is this segment? uh, look, well, the first thing we can say, you're not
00:24:59allowed to say liar on the floor the house of commons, but we're not on the floor the house of
00:25:02commons, Andy Burnham is liar, when he stood for that campaign
00:25:06in makerfield the by-election, he said we will not rejoin the
00:25:10EU, he said Britain does not want to be dragged back
00:25:14in to this awful process we experience at the time the Brexit
00:25:17campaign, this is the last thing the British public... there is no evidence
00:25:21that we're going to have economic growth, for heaven say the British economy is growing
00:25:25faster than the three biggest economies in Europe, faster than France,
00:25:29Germany and Italy, are they victims of Brexit? we know full
00:25:32well that the exchange scheme you have on on migrants for example in
00:25:36Europe inevitably means that we take more than we give back to that
00:25:40country, they talk about a youth experience, whatever a youth
00:25:43experience is the mind boggles, but if you look it invariably the UK is
00:25:47disadvantaged, four the top 10... universities in the world
00:25:51are British universities, how many are European?
00:25:54zero, and of course it's the British tax payer who then would have to pay to
00:25:58educate foreign students in this country, i'm afraid he's in for
00:26:02a... awakening, this just goes back to the original 2016 vote, the
00:26:06disconnect between the elites and the public. They think everyone in the public thinks like
00:26:10they do. Yes, many people think Brexit was a mistake, but when you poll them and ask
00:26:14them, go if going back into the EU means joining Shengen, joining
00:26:17the the euro and not having the rebates, are you in favor, and they
00:26:21overwhelmingly say no, and three quarters them believe there should be
00:26:25referendum, and yet you have people like Saddiq Khan and
00:26:29Emily, Emily, whatever, Thornbery, lady. fuji
00:26:33saying that they can they can do it without referendum, that's how much contempt they have for the
00:26:36British voters who voted in the biggest democratic mandate in our
00:26:40history. Nigelson, the point is this:
00:26:43today, u-turn that sakier Starmer would be proud
00:26:47of was perform, Andy Burnan repeatedly said when he was the candidate for Makerfield, when
00:26:51he was then elected as the MP for Makerfield, he would not go
00:26:55back to this ground, today he did, that's
00:26:59hypocrisy, what he said back in Megerfield? you actually
00:27:03just just showed the clip from there was um we don't reopen the
00:27:07argument right now, use the word right now, wait until
00:27:10October, so what we're talking about is that is putting everything on the
00:27:14table uh in advance of our November the
00:27:1820th EU Summit um and I
00:27:22think Raif was confused in the two things, one is about whether or not we go back into
00:27:25Europe which I think is separate issue and certainly for the future if we do
00:27:29it, I don't think we will by the way, what would... talking about on on
00:27:33November on November the 20th, surrender summit? no, it's it
00:27:37is actually to try try and make Brexit work
00:27:40better, so one one example would be that Andy Burna mentioned
00:27:44today was that um, farmers, anyone selling fresh
00:27:48food, fishermen uh trying to get the their fish into
00:27:51Europe, they're facing f 1400
00:27:55pounds to for a single shipment, the idea is you get rid of
00:27:59that, you get rid of some the the uh health certificates 200 quid
00:28:03they have to pay for that, 16, British businesses stop trading with
00:28:06Europe because of Brexit, we want to get them back, and that's how you get
00:28:10economic growth. Ladies and gentlemen, watching this at home, don't fall for any of
00:28:14this, this is, the amount of uh improvements you can
00:28:18make without accepting proper subservience to the European Union is
00:28:22tiny,
00:28:23you know, there is no way you're going to have major improvements in life if you
00:28:26don't have the full freedoms of movement and and alignment
00:28:30and control.
00:28:32to do with the single market, nothing to do with customs union, the red lines that
00:28:36Andy Burnom will maintain. um, what is wrong with trying to get
00:28:40rid of border checks which are are strangling British business? what
00:28:44was these sorts of changes on for for veterinary, for animals and so forth won't make a
00:28:48jot of difference in the great scheme of things, what we're seeing
00:28:52is the prime minister is trying to delegitimize the vote by saying it was down to
00:28:56russian interference, we've got people like sadiq khan saying you don't need to have referendum we
00:29:00can just put it down to the to the uh house of commons to decide all of this, this
00:29:04is deliberate way to basically soften up the British public and make them ready to
00:29:08go back into the European Union, that's why you having the summit on November the 20th, because
00:29:12nothing of great consequence will come from that. It's also worth pointing out, I
00:29:16did some quick checking about the parliamentarians, you recall in
00:29:202016 75% of
00:29:23parliamentarians voted to remain in the European Union versus
00:29:2752% the electorate to voted to leave, it's got worse. Let's get
00:29:31some scores on the doors. now if we can Danube, there
00:29:34are around about 133 Brexit
00:29:38MPs, if you look at the party they are a part of, that's
00:29:4220%, but when you remove the tory wets as you might call them, there's
00:29:46about 31 them, and then when you add on the 10, there are
00:29:4910 labour party MPs who actually have any credible back story of
00:29:53supporting Brexit, Raif Hader Mancu, that takes us down to only
00:29:5717% of our elected representatives now
00:30:01support Brexit. 83% in favor
00:30:05of re of remain, rejoining, call it what you
00:30:09want, that's a parliament that's worse than it was in 2016 that
00:30:12completely is sucking up to Brussels and when we talk about
00:30:16crisis in democracy, when we talk about the British people feeling that they aren't
00:30:20represented by their MPs, this is why,
00:30:24and we saw this time and again in 2016, the disconnect is is
00:30:28is is wide now, it's wider now than ever before, you would have thought and
00:30:31hoped. that MPs would have learned the lesson and realized of course
00:30:35how dangerous
00:30:36it is to to to disavow and to ignore the wishes the British
00:30:40people and yet once again they see what we're seeing is another attempt to have
00:30:44top-down revolution, we that's a story the last 10 years, the top down
00:30:48revolution and the grassroots spoke up in 2016 and it
00:30:52looks as if once again they're being dragged back to where they were. Rafael
00:30:55Maku, accidents, Niger Nelson, thank you very much indeed to you both. now coming up
00:30:59in just moment's time, I'll be joined by the investive... Journalist Steven
00:31:03Edington to discuss his astonishing new documentary called Britain before
00:31:07mass migration, was told by those have been alive long enough to see just
00:31:11how dramatically our country has changed, it's inc.

00:34:28welcome back to GB News tonight, with me, your host, Martin Dorby now,
00:34:31astonishing brand new documentary titled Britain before mass
00:34:35migration. it details the story of how mass migration changed
00:34:39Britain and is told by those who remember the country before it
00:34:43transforms so radically and so rapidly, the filmmaker,
00:34:47Stephen Egington spoke to those who remember the old days like this
00:34:50Falklands veteran, so you see these images of um, these
00:34:54young men on boats coming over every single day, hundreds of men
00:34:58from Africa and so on, how does that make you feel? very
00:35:01angry, we could stop them tomorrow if we really had the
00:35:04guts. do you think back in back in your
00:35:08day they would have allowed these boats to come over? no, they stopped
00:35:12them, i think they would have stopped them.
00:35:16no, that is silly, they can easily stop them. what do you think
00:35:20your parents and grandparents would make of England today? they'd be
00:35:23horrified,
00:35:26horrified.
00:35:31the film also looks at modern Britain today, including this moment that's gone
00:35:34completely viral. what do you think of
00:35:37England? oh, the best, because I
00:35:40have my heart problem, I have my diabetes, everything is free.
00:35:46uh, the best when it comes to
00:35:49benefits, especially your medical,
00:35:53yeah, because I don't have any problem, they just deliver my,
00:35:56you know, my maintenance, and it's
00:35:59free.
00:36:03now to be joined in Westminster by the creator of that film, Stephen Ejinton as well as my panel
00:36:07tonight, rafe Hadal Mancu and Nigel Nelson, Steve Edging,
00:36:11let's speak to you first, you certainly created a huge...
00:36:15talking point, I watched it with a sense of horror and also
00:36:18morosity of Britain that's simply being lost. I think
00:36:22it's absolutely fascinating that the country has changed a very, very short
00:36:26period of time. in the most dramatic way because of immigration and I
00:36:30wanted to speak with those who'd grown up a Britain that I don't
00:36:34know and
00:36:34the people my age never experienced
00:36:37so that's why
00:36:37I spoke to Julian Thompson there who was born in
00:36:401934 and he actually grew up in in imperial
00:36:44India when Britain had its great empire and he saw and then he came back in
00:36:481945
00:36:49and he saw England in Cormware this very safe fun place that he
00:36:53described and he lived in London from the
00:36:57198. is till about 2015, i think, and he even saw London
00:37:00transform, and I spoke to lots and lots of people who grew up in areas of
00:37:04London, like another chap called Ron who grew up in Tottenham,
00:37:08and he hadn't been back to his homeplace for more than 50 years and I actually
00:37:12took him back to Tottenham and showed them around, and again it was just
00:37:16fascinating to see the reaction of someone who grew up an
00:37:19era the V1 rockets the
00:37:22blitz, of that kind of community spirit, the
00:37:26homogeneous Britain that we had that was 99.9%
00:37:30ethnically English, ethnically British, and
00:37:33today that area of Tottenham that he grew up in is just 22% white
00:37:37British, and he frankly was horrified by that, so it was a
00:37:41really interesting thing to speak to the that sort of golden
00:37:44generation, that great generation born in the 30s, experienced the
00:37:48war, and how they view the countries change over their
00:37:52lifetime. now, of course, lot of people would say that immigration
00:37:56has always been a fabric, part the fabric of London, but
00:37:59your locals who went back to the places they were born and they
00:38:03seemed unrecognizable to them, they just talked about the pace
00:38:07of change, the fierceness of it. Yeah, well I actually got Ron for example
00:38:10to speak to some the locals in Tottenham today, and you know they
00:38:14said that they didn't like living in that area, they said that it was full of junkies, they
00:38:18told him that there was lots of drugs and crime and so on, and people didn't feel safe, this
00:38:22is including people from a migrant background, we actually spoke to a chap
00:38:26who was from a af. Caribbean background is born in the 60's in Tottenham and
00:38:30he said the immigration hadn't been a good thing, he said that the community
00:38:33values that even he had when in the 60s had completely gone, so it's not
00:38:37just
00:38:38you know British white British people who are feeling this, it's also the people who've been
00:38:42here since the windrush times uh or since the 1960s or second
00:38:46generation immigrants to experiencing more recent immigration and seeing
00:38:49their areas change because they came to an England that was very different to what
00:38:53it is today, it's frankly in many areas not very English. uh at
00:38:57least ethnically and culturally and that's something you know in vast areas
00:39:01the country, not just in London but in Leicester, Birmingham, big cities and
00:39:04increasingly in other areas, I mean even where I grew up in Portsmooth is changing
00:39:08hugely, um there's been a vast cultural change, and this is something I
00:39:12wanted to document, superb, so thank you Stephen, stick with us, let's get my
00:39:16panel in now, first Nigel Nelson, undeniably
00:39:20London and Britain has changed rapidly, it's
00:39:23changed radically, do you think it's a problem to document that well?
00:39:27"it depends how you do it, I mean, of course it's
00:39:30changed, and um, everywhere everywhere does
00:39:34change, we don't have polickets, typhoys or typho,
00:39:37typhos or diptheer anymore, so that must be a
00:39:41positive mass unemployment the 1930s is a
00:39:45thing the past, we don't have the threat from
00:39:49um uh Nazi Germany that that some the generation you spoke
00:39:53to had to live through, so things changed, the windrush generation
00:39:57came." over here to rescue our public services after the
00:40:00war, um, I'm sure that they do f find find
00:40:04- changes here, not least the fact we didn't give them proper documentation and
00:40:08tried to send them back to Jamaica, right? It's the pace of change, mass
00:40:11immigration since the 1990s has been the greatest act of harm
00:40:15in our, our long island story, far more consequential than fighting the world
00:40:19wars, and it is the scale of that change, so when I was born in the
00:40:2370s, Britan was 95% white British, 20 years later,
00:40:2719. It was still 92%, that's just a 3%
00:40:30decline. In the last 25 years it's declined by around
00:40:3315%. Uh, an amazing 20%
00:40:37of this country is now foreign born, 40% of Londoners are foreign
00:40:41born. At what point does Britain stop being British? If it's only
00:40:4440% white British, is it still British? And how can you expect
00:40:48immigrants to integrate into a country where the indigenous people are themselves an ethnic
00:40:52minority? Steve, one thing that I often
00:40:56torture myself over is this notion that it seems unique that the western
00:40:59nations and particularly cities must accept
00:41:03this is a part the the modern world, but we don't accept the same thing for
00:41:07example in China, there aren't entire cities in
00:41:11China or Nigeria taking over by people who are wide,
00:41:15so did the people in your film think there's
00:41:19hope or do they think the country is over? frankly I felt a lot of despair
00:41:23and lot of people were telling me, including Julian, that he's glad that he won't be..."
00:41:27alive to see the future the country and that is very sad thing and I
00:41:31hope that there is some hope. I'm more hopeful perhaps than Julian, I have to live through
00:41:35this, my grandchildren and my children and hopefully we'll have deliver you this, so um
00:41:39yeah, I think it's a... 'It's a very difficult time for lot of people, there's a lot of
00:41:42despair going around, but I don't think we should be uh full of despair, I think there should be
00:41:46some hope uh for the future, because as long as there are English people around,
00:41:50as long as you know um we still have these communities in our culture,
00:41:54then of course there's hope. Miger Nelson, people are allowed to
00:41:58be morose and mournful about something they feel has gone, and that's not
00:42:02racist, it's just loving your country, well but
00:42:05I mean part the changes to do with the fact that uh we had empire
00:42:09and then we owe a duty to that empire, which is how, which
00:42:13is how come so many Indians moved here, so many Pakistanis
00:42:17moved here, yeah, I
00:42:21mean, we didn't expect the empire strikes back though, did we? well, I
00:42:25mean, if you colonize a place and then look what's happened
00:42:29to Hong Kong, you have the right to be colonized yourself, what was that, they're not
00:42:33colonizing, that is ridiculous thing to say, there are people who come
00:42:36here living in Bradford and in Bernley and...
00:42:40and that that that hasn't happened to their
00:42:41country when they've seen in the space of one generation the entire transformation their
00:42:45towns with people who have no, they have no desire to integrate or
00:42:49assimilate, but simply to replicate here their homeland, you don't object
00:42:52to to Hong Kong as coming here presumably who have integrated
00:42:56perfectly in this country, it is the scale of change that is, this is not about
00:43:00immigration, this is about mass immigration, we've had more immigration in the last
00:43:0420 years than the last 2,000 years combined, okay
00:43:07gentlemen, thank you very much, Steve Edgington. where can people check out your excellent
00:43:11movie? they can check check out on my substack, stepen edgington
00:43:15and also on my youtube channel, just type in stepen edgington and you'll find it. and tell people what's the name
00:43:19the movie to search for? uh, britain before mass migration. steve edgeton,
00:43:23magnificent, thank you for coming in tonight, i'm so glad that you came in, brave nigel
00:43:26superb as ever, thank you gentlemen. now coming up in just moment's time,

00:47:44welcome back to juby news tonight, with me your host Martin Dorby, now it's time for GB News in the
00:47:48Falklands.
00:47:56and the news this evening, the Falkland Island is there extended
00:47:59invitation to the US president Donald Trump to visit the
00:48:03archipelago and see for himself how proudly British they
00:48:06are. In recent weeks, Donald Trump has seemed less than supportive of Britain's
00:48:10claim over the Falklands, but an exclusive development, GB
00:48:14News Mark White has revealed the Falkland islanders are facing
00:48:17sustained campaign of intimidation by Argentinians, which
00:48:21includes cyber. attacks and abuse and abusive phone calls in light the
00:48:25increased tensions between Britain and Argentina. A GB news is
00:48:29home and security
00:48:30to Mark Wild has more. We're almost
00:48:348,000 miles from the UK, distance that
00:48:38of anything has made the islanders here even more
00:48:41patriotic, proud to be British. They'll
00:48:45tell you here, if you cut them they'll bleed red, white
00:48:49and blue. So understandably there was a great deal of
00:48:53heart here, when President Trump seemed less
00:48:57than supportive of Britain in the war of words with
00:48:59Argentina over the island sovereignty. For many, that's
00:49:03surprising, given how proud Donald Trump is of
00:49:07his British roots, and the fact his own mother was born
00:49:11in the outer Hebredies, an island chain so
00:49:14similar to the rugged beauty the
00:49:17Falklands. Numerous people here have told me the
00:49:21US president should come see for himself how
00:49:24proudly British they are, even the acting chair
00:49:28the Falkland's legislative assembly said the
00:49:32president would be welcome here. Of course, yeah, we'd welcome anyone,
00:49:36and um, no, I think um, we have lot in common with America,
00:49:39you know, in terms of our self-determination and wanting to be able
00:49:42to decide your own future, so I think we got a lot common in that way. Um, a couple
00:49:45comments be made by the president, but um, Secretary Rubio
00:49:49confirmed that the American position hasn't changed, so... 'from our point of view
00:49:53there's been no change to to their stance. the invitation is there then if Donald Trump
00:49:57wants to come here? yeah, of course, yeah. there's little doubt that part of
00:50:01Donald Trump's lack of enthusiasm for Britain's claim over these
00:50:05islands is probably linked to his anger over the UK's
00:50:09perceived lack of support over the war in
00:50:12Iran. that's certainly what Falkland islander Mike
00:50:15Subers believes. the odd comment from him about whether he may or
00:50:19may not support the Argentine position I think is um, well, can
00:50:23can be can be taken as as just what it is, it's a, it's a
00:50:27attempt to put some pressure on the UK government to do other things. we know
00:50:31donald trump is a great admirer of lady thatcher, an islanders
00:50:35hope that he'll be guided by word she wrote in
00:50:381982. they are few in number, but they have the right
00:50:42to live in peace, she said, to choose their own way of life and
00:50:46to determine their own allegiance. those i've
00:50:50spoken to say donald trump would be more than welcome
00:50:53here, keen golfer, he might even be brave enough
00:50:57to battle the winds around some the islands
00:51:00courses, but the presidential motorcade, the
00:51:04beast and at least 20 other vehicles might be
00:51:08slightly more than these local roads could cope with.
00:51:12mark white, gb news in the
00:51:14falkland, magnificent package,
00:51:18let's now speak with the man himself, gb news is home and security to mark white he join
00:51:22us live from the Falklands, Mark, beautiful packages and also
00:51:26the locals might need Donald Trump, because I also hear there are gangs of
00:51:29Argentinians with flags and shirts rampaging around the streets,
00:51:33intimidating the
00:51:34locals. Well,
00:51:37certainly there is intimidation and harassment, there's no
00:51:41doubts about that. Um, I wouldn't say that the hooligans are
00:51:44necessarily running up
00:51:46and up and down the streets, but there have been incidents
00:51:50recently where flag wave. Argentinians
00:51:53have come up down the seafront here, some
00:51:57others wearing the Argentinian football top
00:52:01wouldn't be particularly of concern anywhere else.
00:52:05in the world, but here there are sensitivities, and the
00:52:09islanders say, look, we respect the right the
00:52:12Argentinians to come here, especially those who want to
00:52:16visit the Argentinian war grave,
00:52:20um, but you know, they have to be respectful,
00:52:24and they just feel that there is not that respect, and top of
00:52:27that, what there is, is a concerted
00:52:30campaign of intimidation, whereby '
00:52:35cyber attacks are taking place uh these review sites
00:52:39for businesses around the Falklands regularly get
00:52:42attacked and spammed with people posting all kinds
00:52:46of horrible comments uh about the islands
00:52:49and about the fact that the British should leave uh
00:52:53there's also direct phone calls that happened to
00:52:57businesses one Chilean woman that I was speaking to working
00:53:01here she was sworn out called a treator for working.
00:53:05with the islanders um and you know just
00:53:09generally uh the the kind of uh attempts to get
00:53:12in on people's social media accounts uh
00:53:16with a view to sending out spam messages
00:53:20and anti-falklands or anti-british
00:53:23messages out on that it's been pretty
00:53:26relentless they are fed up
00:53:28of it um because it's so
00:53:32long lived this campaign and what we've ' now
00:53:35martin is - height intention with
00:53:39Javier Mile which is just actually ramped it up
00:53:43again in terms the attention uh that these
00:53:47people are giving
00:53:48the the Falklands magnificent thank you very much indeed my
00:53:52live from the folklos I love that line if you cut them they bleed red
00:53:56white and blue thank you very much Mark of course state the nation is up
00:54:00next hoping interview like vision as ever is to Jacob what's on your
00:54:04menu we be talking about this extraordinary claim by
00:54:08the prime minister Andy Burnham that we've all been taken over by Russian
00:54:11Bods and that we only got Brexit because of Russia, which seems
00:54:15to be completely bonkers and the sort of thing desperate people say when they've lost
00:54:19an election, but it's the classic socialist view that
00:54:23people vote against the socialist have false consciousness that he's stupid to
00:54:27know what they're doing, they had to be persuaded to do it by somebody else, when
00:54:31we already know from the security ministers and others that there was
00:54:35was no successful attempt by the Russians to change
00:54:39our elections, magnificent, the greatest romaniac, myth of all,
00:54:43putin made us do it, that's next here on GB News with
00:54:45Jacob,
00:54:52today clouds overhead, totals

00:55:00on GB News, evening, welcome to your latest weather update from the
00:55:04Met office here on GB news, very mild tonight, also
00:55:07very windy for some, and the mild blustery weather continues tomorrow, there'll be some
00:55:11sunshine, but there will also be a spell of heavy rain moving through,
00:55:15thanks to this little area of low pressure, it's intensifying, developing as it moves
00:55:19up towards the northwest, that's where the strongest winds will be, getting quite gusty and
00:55:23windy this evening across Northern Ireland, with a spell of heavy rain moving
00:55:27through here, and turning very windy indeed across the highlands of Scotland and
00:55:30particularly the western is through the early hours, that spell of rainal sweet through the central but...
00:55:35and eventually turn up in western parts of Wales, so much of England and Wales, though,
00:55:38just a dank, murky, drizzly all night, but very mild temperatures hauling
00:55:42up at 14- 15 degrees, so it won't be a cold start to Tuesday, could be quite
00:55:46a wet start, however, the spell of rain edging its way through,
00:55:50generally dry over the midlands, much of eastern England, but there's that
00:55:54area of rain, it could be quite heavy in places
00:55:57this rain, particularly over parts of northwest England, the wet and windy weather sweeps through
00:56:00Northern Ireland, but then we're left with showers coming in for Tuesday morning, the...
00:56:05rain by the time we get to Russia should be pulling away from the east coast of
00:56:08Scotland so skies brightening pretty rapidly here, but then more
00:56:12showers packing into western Scotland a brisk wind, the winds won't be as
00:56:16strong as they will be overnight, but nevertheless quite noticeable that spell of rain then works
00:56:20its way across east anglia and the southeast, doesn't bring a huge amount of
00:56:24rain, doesn't last all that long, and look at that, the afternoon largely sunny across the
00:56:27south, further north, there'll be sunny spells, but there will also be some
00:56:31blustery gusty showers, still mild temperatures in the
00:56:35mids to high teens, maybe over 20 celsius across the
00:56:38southeast, turning a little cooler Tuesday night into Wednesday
00:56:42morning, a little bit fresh at first thing, but generally dry fine day across much
00:56:46the south, some early morning mist and fog, but then more wet and very
00:56:50windy weather potentially coming into the northwest, need to keep an eye on
00:56:53that, again elsewhere generally dry and bright and still quite mild
00:56:57with temperatures perhaps up to 20 celsius.
