00:00:00a dilemma like the chicken or the egg, which comes
00:00:02first: for the country to recover
00:00:05so I can start collaborating
00:00:08screen of El Solidario de with it. From the Venezuelan Association of Tax Law, we don't think
00:00:11that way. We believe that the duty to contribute to
00:00:15public burdens is an unavoidable duty and is even
00:00:18linked to democracy. He who
00:00:21we take, but what pays his
00:00:22The Holy Christ of
00:00:23we leave. taxes has the right to complain. He who is a
00:00:26taxpayer has the right to demand.
00:00:30Uh, when you go, when you go to a bakery
00:00:35learn from what and buy bread and they put it in a torn or damaged bag, since you are paying, you
00:00:39have the right to say, "Please, change the bag," or "I don't want
00:00:42that baguette, I want it whiter" or more toasted. The same
00:00:46happens with taxpayers. When taxpayers pay our
00:00:50taxes, the right to demand is
00:00:53strengthened in a democracy. I believe that we must
00:00:57guidelines for an early return to break that false dilemma between "I want to... wait for things
00:01:00Connected with to settle down to start
00:01:07devotions of the world, here is the Samaritan it's about contributing to the younger declaring." I can understand, as a human being, that there are people who may be frustrated by the great
00:01:11no, here well, it's part of what tax burden that exists, but they have, but the
00:01:14solution is not to hide in the tax shadows. The
00:01:17solution is to register and the
00:01:21solution is to be formal. But
00:01:24I also admit that it is necessary to take measures to
00:01:28generate incentives for this, and one of them, which the National Association of Tax Law has
00:01:31said, is to create a monotax, a flat
00:01:35tax, and regarding that, uh,
00:01:39let's say, if they ask us, we can present
00:01:43a proposal for promulgation immediately.
00:01:46We have measures that are taken immediately, like the ones we discussed,
00:01:50medium-term measures, which could be
00:01:54not only the creation of a monotax,
00:01:58but also a law.
00:02:00of tax remission, a law that some have wanted
00:02:04let's say, more in the medium to to call a tax amnesty. What is that?
00:02:07There is a large number of conflicts,
00:02:10uh, latent and established before the tax
00:02:13administration and before the courts that should be cleared up,
00:02:17to make a kind of clean slate regarding taxes
00:02:21with respect to that large number of conflicts that exist, and that would
00:02:25allow the tax administration, all of them, by
00:02:28the way, not just the national administration, but
00:02:31municipal, parafiscal,
00:02:34to eliminate that large
00:02:37number of lawsuits
00:02:40and administrative procedures that exist for the payment of
00:02:43a fraction of what is being discussed there. It allows it to collect
00:02:47something and it allows the
00:02:49taxpayer to feel that they don't owe, to feel that
00:02:53they have a fresh start again in their
00:02:57tax-legal relationships.
00:03:00And I would like to conclude my comment simply by
00:03:03saying that these are material
00:03:06measures
00:03:08and I also told you that
00:03:11Fospuca is not what
00:03:12with greater emphasis on tax law is framed
00:03:13we take, but what within fiscal policy and within economic policy, but
00:03:16it is also necessary to pay attention
00:03:19to the tax-legal relationship, a relationship that must be based on
00:03:22law. We must have
00:03:25judges and public
00:03:28the efforts, for example, in servants, better yet...
00:03:30We must have them and that they also have academic
00:03:35I will be of independence and that they have functional independence. For
00:03:39this, that
00:03:41who were affected in generates legal certainty for
00:03:45kilometers to reunite with taxpayers and investors who will come, who know that if there is a
00:03:47conflict over whether I adequately determined my
00:03:51taxes, there will be an independent person who is
00:03:55capable and technically uh, let's say
00:03:58this
00:04:01trained for it to be able to adequately resolve the
00:04:04conflict. Thank you, lawyer, for joining us this morning. It's a pleasure and

00:05:06Let's overcome the humanitarian dimension and
00:05:09move to a stage of recovery and... of
00:05:12reconstruction that has as its center the human being in all its
00:05:16dimensions. It is not the recovery of
00:05:19infrastructure, it is to impact the
00:05:22most socioeconomically vulnerable
00:05:25sectors, and how that double earthquake
00:05:28had devastating effects on their
00:05:31lives, their lives
00:05:33changed.

00:07:028:06 AM, we are back with more on the front page, ready to
00:07:06present to you our next guest of the day to
00:07:09discuss such an important topic at this time: humanitarian aid and action
00:07:13in Venezuela after the earthquakes of more than a month ago. It is a pleasure for
00:07:17us to have in the studio Mrs.
00:07:20Vanessa Mey, who is the head of the Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs of
00:07:24the United Nations here in Venezuela. Good morning and thank you for joining us. Good morning, thank you for
00:07:28the invitation. We would like to know, dear Vanessa, how the
00:07:32United Nations' humanitarian action and response work in Venezuela has developed,
00:07:35understanding that you have been there since the beginning of the emergency,
00:07:39even your highest official was also present
00:07:42on the ground, being able to verify the situation
00:07:46that was being experienced from those first hours of the earthquakes and the humanitarian
00:07:50impact it is also having. Yes, well,
00:07:53it is good to clarify that we, the United Nations system and humanitarian
00:07:57partners, have been in Venezuela since 2019. We have a
00:08:00humanitarian architecture that is quite solid, robust,
00:08:04where not only United Nations agencies are part, but
00:08:07also national and international civil society
00:08:10organizations, the Red Cross, uh. and
00:08:13well, other important entities. It is also important to clarify that
00:08:17we are, this architecture is established, uh, let's say
00:08:20in common agreement with the authorities and we work to complement the
00:08:24action and efforts of the state.
00:08:28With the two earthquakes that occurred on June 24th, what we do is
00:08:31uh, in some way strengthen the humanitarian structure, the
00:08:35humanitarian architecture. However, there are other organizations that join
00:08:41the first two weeks, when everything was concentrated on
00:08:45search and rescue, around Ilonca de Contreras
00:08:48Poliesco in certified
00:08:51Caracas. For more details,
00:08:55authorities but also Venezuelan civil society, who were the first
00:08:58responders, and from there, the entire humanitarian response has been
00:09:01structured, uh, in an integrated manner, because there are different
00:09:04sectors that the population needs. What,
00:09:08let's say, have been the main concerns that you
00:09:11identified in this first phase of the response?
00:09:15Well, let's say that when uh, the search and rescue teams
00:09:18began to leave, we conducted a rapid assessment
00:09:22of needs to find out what were the most pressing needs of the affected
00:09:26people. Of course, the issue of shelter was one of the
00:09:30great needs, followed by the issue of
00:09:33food security, to ensure that people had
00:09:37access to
00:09:40also nutrients, for example, for
00:09:43lactating and pregnant mothers, for boys and girls,
00:09:47also, the issue of health was absolutely a priority and continues
00:09:50to be a priority, and especially the issue of mental health, because
00:09:53generally, when these these
00:09:57let's say emergencies,
00:09:59due to earthquakes and also due to conflicts, the issue of mental health tends
00:10:02to be left behind, and
00:10:06I believe that for us, this has also been one of the priorities, and as
00:10:10I said, the integrated response, because crises affect
00:10:13children differently, elderly women,
00:10:16people with disabilities, so for us it is very
00:10:19important to understand what the needs of these population
00:10:22groups are, to also plan the response. In that sense, are
00:10:26these vulnerable populations currently being attended to, regarding what
00:10:29you said about the need to
00:10:32be able to address mental health, which at this moment is at
00:10:35risk? Yes, of course. We,
00:10:39as I told you, based on this needs assessment,
00:10:42what we effectively identify is how many children
00:10:45we are talking about, how many women, uh, how many
00:10:49elderly people, how many people with disabilities, to get an
00:10:53effective and comprehensive response. That is, if there is a
00:10:56health response, let's say, with doctors
00:11:00who can provide the service, that there are also psychologists
00:11:04providing psychosocial support, but also
00:11:07ensuring that they have three meals a day, but also
00:11:10ensuring that they have access to safe water.
00:11:14It is the component that we call WASH, which is water and
00:11:17basic sanitation, which is also very important within this response, and
00:11:21shelter. Temporary camps were established for people
00:11:25to take shelter while in the following phases of the response, it is
00:11:28guaranteed that they have let's say a
00:11:32safe home where they can return or where they will be
00:11:35relocated. We know that the most affected area is La Guaira and that many
00:11:39of the efforts are concentrated there, but also the plan that
00:11:42you have presented and that you have deployed throughout the country goes much further
00:11:46and also includes other areas that were perhaps affected by the
00:11:49earthquakes. What have been those places that have priority right now? Look,
00:11:53that's very important to emphasize as well. As I said,
00:11:57we were here since 2019 and for 2026
00:12:00we already had a humanitarian response plan that included eight
00:12:03priority states, of which, for example, La Guaira was not a
00:12:06priority state. Miranda state was. So, when we made the addendum, the
00:12:10addendum to the humanitarian response plan, we
00:12:13obviously included the seven states that were affected by the two earthquakes that
00:12:16occurred on June 24th. This means that
00:12:19we identified as our target population 1.3 million
00:12:23people in these seven states. But of those, 700,000
00:12:27were already part of our original initial response plan,
00:12:30let's say, because as I told you, we work based on people's priorities,
00:12:34what are the most pressing needs, and we prioritize because, well,
00:12:38resources are also scarce. So, an additional
00:12:42500,000 people are included in the states of La Guaira, Yaracuy,
00:12:46Carabobo, Greater Caracas, and Miranda, which are part of this
00:12:50addendum. Now, how does the work plan of the
00:12:53humanitarian response also work? What about
00:12:57humanitarian aid that also arrives and that you are in charge
00:13:00of distributing to the most affected areas? But there is always
00:13:03the concern that it will be guaranteed to really reach the
00:13:06people in need. How is that important step guaranteed? Yes, that is
00:13:10a very important issue because, let's say, there are several levels of response.
00:13:14For example, public opinion sees that there are
00:13:17international donations arriving from all
00:13:20countries, because, of course, the solidarity in the face of these two
00:13:23earthquakes has been immense from the entire international community.
00:13:27Let's say what Ocha does, what my office does, is, and it was created
00:13:30precisely after the earthquake that occurred in Haiti a
00:13:34few years ago, precisely to support states to be
00:13:38able to coordinate, and this is the key word, coordination.
00:13:42How do we ensure that all this existing offer reaches
00:13:45the people who need it most? That's why I told you that we do a needs
00:13:49assessment to know where those people are, who they are,
00:13:52how they are, what the differences are between those people, because, as I told you, crises
00:13:56affect different population groups. They have their
00:14:00characteristics, exactly. So, we also have
00:14:03control and monitoring mechanisms because, let's say, how the
00:14:07United Nations and many international organizations work is,
00:14:10let's say, contributions from taxpayers around the world
00:14:14who pay their taxes, and obviously this is under
00:14:17very close scrutiny. Uh, we have control
00:14:20and monitoring mechanisms that are also very robust
00:14:23and that guarantee that aid reaches directly the people who need it.
00:14:27We work with implementing partners who have also been
00:14:30previously certified, who have a track record not
00:14:34only in Venezuela but also worldwide, that they can implement
00:14:37resources transparently and we also have
00:14:41tools that are even
00:14:44available online for anyone who wants it. Uh, we have
00:14:48a tool called, for example, the 5W, which basically in real
00:14:51time shows you who is doing what, where, and in what sector. This
00:14:55is very important in terms of accountability, because accountability for
00:14:59us is not only for our donors, but also
00:15:02for the population. It is very important
00:15:08the communities, what the communities need and how we can integrate that into
00:15:11our response, also to give back what they tell
00:15:14us, because we are always talking to them, and I think that is
00:15:18fundamental. Is there a clear
00:15:21number at this time of the people who have
00:15:25been beneficiaries, people who are being attended to
00:15:28and of the specific communities and families
00:15:32that are attended to by your office? Yes, well, we
00:15:35have, uh, as we coordinate, we are talking about
00:15:39the aid that the humanitarian community as such provides,
00:15:43the United Nations agencies, civil society organizations.
00:15:46Since we launched this addendum to the humanitarian response plan for this specific
00:15:50emergency, we have served approximately 200,000 people. As
00:15:54I said, these are multisectoral packages
00:15:56that include access to safe food,
00:16:00all health issues, mental health, psychosocial support,
00:16:04uh, water, safe water also. So
00:16:08200,000, 220,000 people more or less we have
00:16:11reached to date, approximately, right? Now,
00:16:14what is the long-term plan? We know that this first
00:16:18emergency stage has a time, a duration, especially also the
00:16:21concern in these first hours for the search for people,
00:16:25the location of bodies already in the following weeks, because
00:16:29time had passed, let's say, that was estimated to find people alive,
00:16:33but now there is, let's say, a crisis of people who are homeless,
00:16:36people who have psychological sequelae from the
00:16:39trauma experienced. So what will be the focus
00:16:43now of what remains there? Well, that is a very
00:16:46important question because, let's say, we have been responding since
00:16:50the first hours in what concerns us, which is the humanitarian part, as you
00:16:53rightly mentioned, and that is how we ensure that these people can
00:16:57reintegrate, let's say, into basic services,
00:17:00including housing. But, let's say, we reach a certain
00:17:04point, but then also development actors, multilateral
00:17:07banks, which you have heard are currently
00:17:10elaborating a study,
00:17:14which is called the PDNA, which is
00:17:17basically identifying what these needs of these people are more
00:17:21for development issues, and the idea
00:17:24is that we can continue working in parallel, because as long as there are humanitarian
00:17:28needs, we will continue to support these people, but
00:17:31in parallel, obviously, they have to get out of the state of need and they
00:17:35also have to offer solutions,
00:17:41long term, right? So, what we want is for
00:17:45this plan, the addendum to the humanitarian response plan, to go until the end of the
00:17:48year, and to be able to respond, to be able to obtain
00:17:52all the financing required for this plan, and, well, to be able to
00:17:56integrate with development actors so that they can
00:17:59find solutions in the medium and long term, of course, with the help of the authorities and
00:18:03also strengthen the capacity of the state which is totally necessary, right?
00:18:06Thank you very much for joining us today. Thank you very much for inviting
00:18:10me, for also providing us with such useful information, also
00:18:14highlighting the continuous effort made by the United Nations
00:18:17here in Venezuela with its presence in different agencies and its
00:18:20office, in the case of the humanitarian affairs office, which is very present at
00:18:24this moment in the affected areas and has had a humanitarian response before
00:18:28the earthquakes and now strengthens it precisely to address this emergency. Today,
00:18:32with us, Vanessa Mey, who is the head of the Office of Humanitarian

00:20:22Better come and follow my current.
00:20:37Are you serious? What happened, my son? Are you going to freeze the

00:21:13We invite you to

00:21:45Now, Bernardo, we move with all of Venezuela to Táchira state
00:21:49because this 6th. the 416th anniversary of the
00:21:52Holy Christ of La Grita is commemorated, one of the most important religious devotions in the country
00:21:56and a symbol of faith after the pain caused by the double
00:21:59seismic event of last June 24th. From Hauregui municipality, our
00:22:03correspondent in the entity, Francis Games, expands on this
00:22:06information.
00:22:09Good morning, friends of First Page. We
00:22:12continue deployed in Hauregui municipality.
00:22:16Yesterday, the 450th anniversary of the
00:22:20founding of the city of La Grita was celebrated, and today the
00:22:23416th anniversary
00:22:26of the Holy Christ of the Serene Face is commemorated. Beside
00:22:29me is the mayor of this jurisdiction, Juan Carlos
00:22:33Escalante, who will give us the details regarding
00:22:37the activities that have been carried out. Well, thank you very
00:22:41much for the coverage, thanks to First Page,
00:22:44Aclovisión. Uh, as you already pointed out, yesterday
00:22:47we commemorated the 450th anniversary
00:22:50of the founding of the city of La Grita, of course, a date
00:22:54from which we have records of the arrival of the colonists, but
00:22:57we also wanted to commemorate throughout the year the indigenous
00:23:00populations that were here, to recognize them, remember them, always keep them in mind
00:23:04that beyond the colonists having arrived 450 years ago, there were
00:23:08indigenous people who
00:23:11inhabited these mountains, these lands, these valleys. So,
00:23:14well, very grateful. Today we commemorate the
00:23:17416th anniversary of the Holy Christ.
00:23:20La Grita, the Christ of the Serene Face, the Christ of
00:23:23Miracles, and well, grateful to all, all the
00:23:26organizations, the government of Táchira state, Governor Freddy Bernal, the
00:23:30prevention and security organizations, thanks to all the
00:23:33religious organizations from La Grita, Táchira, and the rest of the
00:23:37country who have organized to come and place themselves at the
00:23:40feet of the Sacred Image, thanks of
00:23:44course to Bishop Lisandro Rivas,
00:23:47all the priests who well. this
00:23:50celebration because, as we had said weeks
00:23:53before when we suspended the great mountain fair,
00:23:57we are going, as every year, to dedicate ourselves, but now
00:24:02the celebration of the Eucharist,
00:24:05to ask God, our creator God, and the Holy
00:24:08Christ of La Grita for relief from the
00:24:12pain that, well, that we have received due to the
00:24:15double seismic event that caused
00:24:18much sadness throughout Venezuelan... and we came
00:24:21and asked for relief,
00:24:24understanding, strength, wisdom, and well,
00:24:27to continue doing what is necessary to
00:24:30rise up as only Venezuelans know how to do, in the midst of
00:24:34circumstances, however difficult they may be. Venezuelans have
00:24:37in the legacy of Simón Bolívar the great
00:24:39example of overcoming circumstances and well, moving
00:24:43forward. Thank you very much, we were talking with the
00:24:46mayor of Jauregui municipality, Juan Carlos Escalante. It is worth
00:24:50noting that today at 10 AM, the pontifical
00:24:54mass will be held by the Bishop of San
00:24:58Cristobal, Monsignor Lisandro Rivas. Afterwards,
00:25:01the procession with the sacred image of the Saint will take place.
00:25:06Spirit. With this information we return the contact
00:25:10to Caracas. Thanks to our colleague Francis Games,
00:25:13throughout the day, the Globovisión team will be broadcasting for you
00:25:17from Táchira this celebration, commemoration of the
00:25:21Holy Christ of the cry, in a very special moment because one of the things
00:25:25that has accompanied us the most these days of tragedy after the earthquakes
00:25:28is definitely faith and prayer, so it's a beautiful day to
00:25:32unite in prayer to the Holy Christ of the cry, those who are in Táchira and those who could not
00:25:36travel but do so through the screen
00:29:33ideal presented:
00:37:05in the name of the blessed almighty God, my beautiful, supportive
00:37:08people of Venezuela, but also of the
00:37:11Holy Christ of La Grita, thus we begin this August
00:37:156 with this celebration, my beautiful, supportive, that's right, my dear
00:37:19Juan and well, we are precisely honoring and paying tribute to the great protector
00:37:22of the state and also of all our beloved Venezuela.

00:37:31pilgrims and all those
00:37:34of solidarity,
00:37:38we have today, today the contact points and social networks are
00:37:42at your disposal, remember that the solidarity page
00:37:45gb, also j lazar fígalo genesis ribas oficial, our
00:37:49youtube channel globovision en vivo tv
00:37:51www.globovision.com is connected with
00:37:55all of you, remember. Also 0412
00:37:59377 3910 Juancho, contact us, a
00:38:02solidarity party, all the people that takes on great
00:38:06importance, because after these
00:38:09earthquakes of last
00:38:12June 24 that have devastated
00:38:14Venezuela, we have heard many
00:38:18testimonies from the devotees, where
00:38:21they ask the Holy Christ of La
00:38:24Grita, for that serenity for all
00:38:27the people who currently live and
00:38:30with justification in
00:38:33despair, that unease
00:38:36in the face of problems, and of
00:38:39course, faith and
00:38:42hope and charity that
00:38:46Venezuela so needs, those Táchira
00:38:49mountains, those churches
00:38:53today venerate this serene
00:38:56face of the Holy Christ of La
00:38:59Grita, who, by the way, back
00:39:02then, the earthquake had
00:39:06devastated the town of La Grita and the Holy
00:39:09Christ performed the miracle of calming
00:39:13the population, oh
00:39:15Holy Christ, we ask you to give peace
00:39:19to our beloved people of La
00:39:21Guaira, that this
00:39:24solidarity does not wane and that
00:39:27wills unite to continue helping
00:39:31those most in need, and now, regarding this
00:39:35festivity of this day, my dear supportive friend, what do you have for us? That's right,
00:39:39my dear Juancho, because in religious matters we also have to show
00:39:43all the cultural part of this great celebration that
00:39:46comes with these celebrations in honor
00:39:50of our saints and this time we go with our
00:39:53colleague Francis Games from Táchira state who brings us more information.
00:40:09of thousands of faithful, which is the most important thing, and who will travel those long
00:40:12the Holy Christ of La Grita, from the state she brings
00:40:16us more information, Francis, good morning,
00:40:19thanks for the informative contact, we
00:40:22continue with our special broadcast within the framework of the
00:40:25416 years.
00:40:27of the Holy Christ of La Grita, the Globovisión team
00:40:31began our journey in San Cristóbal along the Páramo
00:40:35road to the Hauregui municipality, a
00:40:38route of more than 74 km, it should be noted
00:40:42that this route is beautiful because we can
00:40:45observe the mountains, the
00:40:49crops, the livestock and of
00:40:51course the large
00:40:55meet the patron
00:40:59of Venezuela, next to me is a group
00:41:02of pilgrims. What is your name and surname? Juan
00:41:04Jaramillo. Juan, tell us, where did you
00:41:08start the journey? We left from Naranjales in the
00:41:12Fernández Feo municipality. We left on Monday at 3 AM and
00:41:177 PM. And we left Puenterreal yesterday
00:41:21at approximately 6:30 when we reached
00:41:24the table, one group arrived at 5 PM and then
00:41:28another group arrived at 7:30 or 8,
00:41:31all exhausted and tired, how have you
00:41:35felt? Well, it has been a long journey from Naranjales to this point,
00:41:39how have you felt? In fact, we can see that you have an injury on one of
00:41:42your legs, yes, the journey is very hard, the first day we walked 16 hours
00:41:46and well, from here to there it is very
00:41:50hard, but everything is done for a promise so that everything will then
00:41:52improve and everything, I come almost with my knee almost half out
00:41:56and torn and with an open ankle, but there we go,
00:42:00despite that severe injury, what motivates you to continue
00:42:03walking to meet the Christ of the serene face, it's all
00:42:07for a promise, for a good eh, everything has
00:42:10a sacrifice in life and we all have to do it, I also see
00:42:14that there are people who, well, there are not many people who come with us, but a group of almost 80
00:42:18people come, and well, I am not one of those who are most in pain, but there
00:42:22are more, but thank God I haven't gotten any and well, we
00:42:26can still keep walking because the pain will always be mental, what is
00:42:30that promise you made to the Holy Christ of La Grita that gives
00:42:33you the strength to walk all this
00:42:37great distance to...
00:42:41One of the promises is for our country to be better, we know that we are in a
00:42:45crisis situation and everything and that is the greatest promise for
00:42:48which I am going there so that all our people stop suffering
00:42:52so much and we are well,
00:42:55thank you very much, friends of Globovisión, we will continue
00:42:59with our journey to the Hauregui
00:43:02municipality, it should be noted that in the
00:43:04eight established routes by Civil
00:43:08Protection there is a deployment of more than
00:43:111200 security and protection
00:43:14officials, with this information we return the
00:43:18contact to Caracas, that's right, there are many stories, thank you Francis
00:43:22for bringing us that information and well, we will continue to take every step
00:43:25throughout this special program that we have today in the solidarity of Venezuelan
00:43:29television and learn how our people are doing, how the
00:43:32faithful are doing precisely with this of the Holy Christ of La Grita, but well,
00:43:36we are just the program of the
00:43:40in our country here we are not looking if you are
00:43:43perhaps of one current or another, in the end there is only one God and
00:43:47that is why we are now going with the calendar of saints, my dear Juancho,
00:43:50tell us, that's right, my beautiful, supportive, the
00:43:53Roman Catholic
00:43:56Church also celebrates this day a feast of great
00:44:00importance, which is the
00:44:03Transfiguration
00:49:28to August 6th in the universal
00:49:30weekly,
00:49:33the table returned with a new phase of dialogue in the
00:49:36country, they assure that Venezuela will hold
00:49:40elections when it is ready, the
00:49:43livestock sector bets on financing to
00:49:46grow. South Korea promotes
00:49:49solidarity diplomacy.
00:49:52and road conditions are constant challenges in Mérida

00:50:41In Maturín, in Monagas state, there is a very
00:50:45beautiful and supernatural ministry, which is the House of
00:50:48Supernatural God, its founder, Prophet Janette de
00:50:52Rangel, is with us, a woman who has a
00:50:55powerful testimony when she had a
00:50:58personal encounter with the Lord
00:51:01Jesus Christ that changed her entire life and all her plans, my
00:51:05dear prophet, welcome to this space that blesses
00:51:09the people of Venezuela, the solidarity of television, my prophet
00:51:12Janette Rangel, welcome, thank you, thank you, it's a pleasure
00:51:16to have you, thanks for the invitation, it's an honor, and
00:51:20in moments when, and we have been saying it, no. Regarding the different
00:51:23celebrations that take place in the country this day, the
00:51:27need for God, perhaps more than ever that we
00:51:30Venezuelans have
00:51:33after these terrible events that have
00:51:37shaken our country, the word of the
00:51:40men and women of God like you are fundamental
00:57:18Prophet Janet, how have you taken on and how
00:57:21has this message and this power of God been
00:57:25manifesting through your ministry, in these
00:57:28circumstances, in the activities you have been
00:57:31carrying out to support all the people affected by the
00:57:34earthquakes of last June 24th, especially all the
00:57:38people of La Guaira state? My prophet Janet,
00:57:42the word, I believe this, the word says that faith without
00:57:46works is dead. And we
00:57:49founded, started a
00:57:52foundation to help children. The Lord spoke to
00:57:56me and gave me the name of the foundation, the Holy Spirit told me: Helping to
00:57:59Live. And from there it began. We started with little and
00:58:03we are, not only helping children from all over Monagas state, but
00:58:06we feel obligated to help
00:58:10and we moved here to La Guaira to bring food.
00:58:14On this last trip, there were 1,000 bags of food.
00:58:17Approximately, and other supplies. We are always
00:58:21doing our best to be there. In fact, I think that
00:58:25this is irreversible,
00:58:27we will continue this. These are three trips already and
00:58:31well, it has been a blessing and I realize that today when I arrive in La
00:58:35Guaira, a person who had been paralyzed for 8 months arrived, a
00:58:39young woman, she didn't know anything. She
00:58:42recognized me and told me: I asked for the miracle on YouTube.
00:58:46How wonderful that you are here and she gave her testimony, how beautiful.
00:58:50That is, we are not only bringing the word of
00:58:53God, the message of God, healing, to
00:58:56souls and food. That is, we are seeing the miracles of
00:59:00God even in the midst of all this destruction in the state of La
00:59:03Guaira, in the midst of all this situation of
00:59:06pain, of
00:59:40account, Prophet Janet de
00:59:43Rangel and you can also find her on Instagram.
00:59:48And on YouTube we are as a church on Sundays starting at
00:59:5110 AM on YouTube, so connect. I am
00:59:55going to ask you now, well, thank you very much for your
00:59:59presence, the fact that from Monagas you
01:00:02are opening all this heart of God to take it
01:00:06to the most affected in our beloved state of La Guaira, which
01:00:10needs us so much and continues to need us, and that is what we are gathering
01:00:13in our daily visits. So let's close with
01:00:17a prayer for all the people, my beloved
01:00:20prophet.
01:00:23Well, I bless
01:00:25Venezuela. As a prophet of God, I bless
01:00:29Venezuela and declare in the name of Jesus that
01:00:32Venezuela will rise up, that
01:00:35Venezuela will flourish
01:00:39in the name of Jesus Christ. I declare that
01:00:42Jesus enters Venezuela, because of
01:00:45this Venezuela. It says because Jesus enters
01:00:49Venezuela, I declare a great revival, I declare
01:00:52transformation. I bless your lives, I bless your
01:00:56family, I bless your home, I bless your finances,
01:00:59your work in the name of Jesus, and
01:01:02I declare that the best and good
01:01:05is yet to come to Venezuela, in the name of Jesus,
01:01:09amen.
01:01:11Amen.
01:01:39416 years of faith, a
01:01:43face that calms the soul and unites
01:01:46hearts. The Christ of Miracles, patron of
01:01:50Táchira, guides this living tradition.
01:01:52Francis Games accompanies the
01:01:56coverage with solemnity and closeness, a
01:01:59story that is renewed with every step,
01:02:02devotion that honors our roots.

01:03:01There is an infinitely powerful and wise
01:03:45contact points are available for you as El Solidario GB J Azar Fígalo and
01:03:48also Génesis Rivas
01:03:52Oficial. Remember 041237
01:03:543910 also at your disposal so you can send us that message
01:03:58to greet that person. Also to make your complaints. In
01:04:02a little while Juancho will be reading the complaints, however we are going to
01:04:06also establish contact with our colleague José Alejo Benítez who brings us
01:04:09information on religious matters and especially with a very
01:04:13emblematic institution in our country and in the world, it is Fe y
01:04:16Alegría. José Alejo, very good morning.
01:04:20Friends of El Solidario de la Televisión, thank you very much for this
01:04:23informative contact. The earthquake also affected Catholic educational
01:04:27institutions, such as Fe y Alegría, where a
01:04:31considerable number of children and representatives lost their lives. They have
01:04:34developed a program of social, pastoral, and spiritual care,
01:04:38but let's let the priest, the director of this
01:04:41institution, tell us a bit about the details of how we have been
01:04:45affected. Indeed, more than
01:04:4870 schools were affected
01:04:51with damages, some
01:04:53severe, some moderate, and others
01:04:57minor.
01:05:00Thank God, no school
01:05:03collapsed, but they do have
01:05:06damage. We have three that
01:05:09are with red labels.
01:05:12The majority are with
01:05:15green labels, but we have around 17,
01:05:1917, 18 that are with yellow
01:05:23labels. That means that, well, we have to
01:05:26work now, first to prepare the reports.
01:05:30Technical ones, convert them into
01:05:33projects, budget them, and
01:05:36find funders, why?
01:05:40Look, out of only 14 that we have
01:05:44budgeted, we are talking about
01:05:46$1,250,
01:05:50which we don't have, which we don't have, but they are
01:05:53necessary, they are necessary.
01:05:56That's regarding the infrastructure.
01:06:00Our people were affected, 30 students
01:06:03died at the Caravalleda school,
01:06:06one at a school in Maracay, and
01:06:09a teacher from the Fe y Alegría Jesús
01:06:13Obrero University Institute.
01:06:17And more than 700 students
01:06:19were affected in their homes and
01:06:23188 staff also had their homes
01:06:27affected. So,
01:06:31it has hit us in the infrastructure, but above all
01:06:35it has also hit us emotionally.
01:06:38And from there, the line, a line of
01:06:42work that we are trying to do, which we are already preparing, is all the
01:06:45psychoemotional support, that is, how we manage to get our
01:06:49people to get up again, to have
01:06:52dreams again, to say, here it's worth it. Yesterday
01:06:56we had a mass in memory of them to remember
01:07:00their journey at school, also to
01:07:02honor their memory with their families present there, a very
01:07:06hard blow to have that encounter because we
01:07:09deeply regret the loss, not only of our students but we have
01:07:13also had entire families who
01:07:16lost their lives in this area. We have been
01:07:19adapting, we have been collecting statistics, diagnosing our
01:07:23conditions, and so far, well, seeing how we can
01:07:28classes. So far we have made some
01:07:32socio-emotional interventions, some allies who have been able to assist with
01:07:35recreational, playful, psycho-emotional activities to welcome
01:07:39our children, to have that space for listening, empathy,
01:07:42with the family, also making some approaches to address
01:07:46primary needs such as food, drinking water,
01:07:49hygiene, in prioritized families who had
01:07:53many affectations, and who are in vulnerable
01:07:56conditions. Certainly our student population is
01:08:00quite saddened, our community is quite
01:08:02affected and what we have been doing is preparing
01:08:06to be able to receive them and one of the ways of preparation is with open
01:08:10schools right now in August. and the first two weeks of
01:08:13September, as an opportunity for encounter, for coexistence,
01:08:16listening, and that will be an opportunity not
01:08:20only for our students who remain in the parish, but also
01:08:24for the community, any family that wants
01:08:27their children to participate, not being from our educational
01:08:30community, they can participate and in that way progressively make
01:08:34that new encounter with the school and waiting perhaps for the ministerial
01:08:40classes that is projected
01:08:49to know if we can as a community or as
01:08:52a locality start
01:08:53in person.
01:08:57With the preventive measures and care, they hope to start
01:09:00classes in September so as not to neglect this academic
01:09:04attention to the students of La Guaira state. They hope that
01:09:07those three schools that have red labels
01:09:11can be repaired and
01:09:14conditioned so that children do not stop going to school. That is the
01:09:18contribution I have and I return the contact to the studio, go ahead. Thanks to our colleague José
01:09:21Alejo Benites who brings us this information and we will be very attentive,
01:09:25above all, to see what will happen with these institutions that are not yet
01:09:28ready to meet with the little ones at
01:09:31home or with our students for the
01:09:35start of classes as is usual in September. But on the
01:09:39other side of the studio is our dear Juancho who brings us more information and
01:09:43we continue to learn what is happening in La Guaira, Juancho, what news do you have for us?
01:09:47That's right, my dear Solidaria. Well, first of all,
01:09:50all our affection and solidarity for
01:09:53all the students who died
01:09:57in this tragedy, belonging to the Fe y Alegría
01:10:01schools, the teacher, and all those affected, injured, and
01:10:04displaced by these earthquakes. We will continue,
01:10:08indeed, Solidaria, 35
01:10:10demolitions will be carried out in the coming
01:10:14weeks, while progress is made in the
01:10:18Venezuela Renace plan.
01:10:21This was stated by the governor of La Guaira State, José
01:10:24Alejandro Terán. Our correspondent,
01:10:28Angélica Mejía, has more information. Rony
01:10:31Ruedalo.
01:10:34Yes, thanks for the contact, a greeting to all the audience of El Solidario. These statements
01:10:37were offered by Governor Terán during the inspection of the reconstruction
01:10:41works. 100 apartments here in the Cacique
01:10:45Caribe urbanization of the Urimara parish, from where he highlighted that he has proposed
01:10:48land from the surrounding areas to the presidential commission for reconstruction, as
01:10:52well as others located near the Simón Bolívar International Airport in
01:10:56Maiquetía. Let's see, these urbanizations will be
01:10:58waterproofed, they will be reviewed in their entire structure,
01:11:02all this. The emergency is those that threaten, well, that they
01:11:06could collapse, that's why we started in Playa Grande with a controlled
01:11:10demolition that was a complete success from a technical point of view. We will be
01:11:13continuing this week, there are already at least 35 identified
01:11:17buildings by the technical specialist teams, but we
01:11:20are doing it according to international protocols and
01:11:24with a lot of spirit of humanism and understanding, psychosocial
01:11:27accompaniment for all these families so that this is in
01:11:30consensus with all the citizens. It is
01:11:33rehabilitating 3,938
01:11:36homes throughout the state that have been classified during the
01:11:40habitability inspections with the color yellow. Of course, there are many
01:11:44lands that we have seen, we ourselves have presented some of the projects
01:11:47to the presidential commission on some lands that are in front of the airport. We know that they have
01:11:51been pleasing to the presidential commission and the Ministry of
01:11:55Habitat and Housing, who have been in charge of
01:11:58the rehabilitation of this great Cacique Caribe complex,
01:12:02which consists of five towers, which have been
01:12:05classified with yellow habitability, four of these towers and one
01:12:09with green. Finally, Governor Terán pointed out that although 35
01:12:13demolitions have been contemplated to date, the soil
01:12:16study works
01:12:18renowned international engineers, architects, and
01:12:22geologists. That is, for now, the information we are providing from the state of La Guaira and with it
