00:00:00that we have is the issue of reconstruction and I measure
00:00:03reconstruction in two main pillars, the first pillar
00:00:06is the social pillar, yes, how we, from all
00:00:10the communication messages that we can transmit on social
00:00:13networks, can, sorry, the pillar is emotional, excuse me, how
00:00:16I, with these messages, can raise awareness
00:00:20as she says, that is, right now I think it's not the and truly help and accompany sandals, because what all these people who have been
00:00:23the most affected and somehow also motivate people
00:00:26who have not joined this collaboration to do so, and the
00:00:30second pillar is the economic and social part, well,
00:00:33how I, from a company, from my brand, can form strategic
00:00:36alliances to see how I can, how my actions
00:00:40can have a slightly more massive impact, thank you

00:02:38compare, let's compare embassies and ambassadors, Sundays
00:02:417:30 p.m. on
00:04:57used to here in La Tisana, we mentioned the Venezuelan Red Cross
00:05:01has two water purification points
00:05:04with continuous attention in the state of La Guaira, located at the field hospital of
00:05:08the Jorge Luis García Carneiro stadium, this in
00:05:11Macuto and in Padre Machao square in Maiquetia,
00:05:15as part of its humanitarian operation after the earthquakes of
00:05:18June 24, thus allowing citizens who
00:05:22come with clean containers with lids to
00:05:25receive water suitable for human consumption, in addition
00:05:29to access to comprehensive health care,
00:05:32water purification tablets and medical guidance that will be
00:05:35maintained for a period of 2 years to accompany the
00:05:38recovery of the entity.
00:05:45And in the same vein, we must tell you that this Sunday, August
00:05:499, the Venezuelan restaurant Chiacaito in Palermo, Buenos
00:05:52Aires, will be the setting for the "Arepaso Solidario," a charity
00:05:55event that will allocate resources to those affected by the
00:05:59earthquakes in our country. The event will feature the
00:06:02participation of actress Catherine Fulop and gastronomic creator Víctor,
00:06:06known as "El gordo Cocina," who will be in charge
00:06:09of preparing and serving arepas to support the "Cooking for
00:06:13Venezuela" initiative. All proceeds from the sale of these
00:06:16stuffed arepas, drinks, and typical desserts will be used to
00:06:19bring food to families and communities affected by
00:06:23the recent earthquakes who remain in
00:06:26shelters. All families and those
00:06:29who are very attentive through social networks, I am sure that both
00:06:33Catherine Flock and El Gordo will be
00:06:37the activities so that we are
00:06:47information we are going to appeal to nostalgia because
00:06:51Myspace plans its relaunch to be a
00:06:55more human space, less
00:06:58algorithm dependence, let's see how this works, the current
00:07:02owners of the brand
00:07:05are, of course, developing
00:07:09this new version with the objective of leaving
00:07:13behind automated recommendations
00:07:16and prioritizing direct and real
00:07:19interaction between users, the project seeks to
00:07:24the iconic platform born in
00:07:282003 that led the digital world between
00:07:312005 and 2008, before being displaced by
00:07:35competitors like
00:07:38social networks, this proposal aims
00:07:41to overcome the administrative obstacles of
00:07:45the past, well, I think I could open a
00:07:49Myspace account, I don't know about you Suli, I didn't get to use it,
00:07:53but I would dare to do it now to see what that algorithm is like, I didn't either, and as a
00:08:23new opportunity, meanwhile we change the subject to talk about
00:08:29Bromache who broke her own Guinness World Record by
00:08:32completing her sixth walk on the wings
00:08:36of a plane, a crazy, risky feat
00:08:40carried out in England with the purpose of
00:08:43raising funds for the stroke
00:08:47unit of Cheltenham General Hospital,
00:08:50an institution where she was treated for a stroke
00:08:53and where she previously worked as a nurse. The truth is
00:08:57that Bron Bromash assured that she undertakes
00:09:01these challenges to avoid boredom and make a
00:09:04positive difference in the lives of others, inspired by a
00:09:08motto of kindness that marked her youth. In fact, the
00:09:11hospital charity expressed its deep gratitude,
00:09:14noting that donations will allow the acquisition of new
00:09:18medical equipment for the benefit of patients and
00:09:22healthcare personnel, imagine
00:09:25that, no, she was bored and said, what if
00:09:29we walk on top of a plane, of course, well, but the
00:09:32beautiful thing is the cause, no, that solidarity cause, I
00:09:35love it when this type of news goes viral in the world, not only
00:09:39in Venezuela, because we know that there are so many things that... are being done here
00:09:43to raise funds for those who need it most, but also in the world
00:09:47there are people with various problems and in
00:10:33Let's overcome the humanitarian dimension and
00:10:36move to a stage of recovery and
00:10:39reconstruction that focuses on the human being in all
00:10:43dimensions, it is not the recovery of
00:10:46infrastructure, it is impacting the most
00:10:49vulnerable sectors socioeconomically
00:10:52speaking and how that double earthquake
00:10:55had devastating effects on their
00:10:58lives, their lives changed,
00:11:55Guaira, recovery advances non-stop, two crushing
00:11:58trains operate simultaneously, transforming the remains of the
00:12:02double earthquake into material
00:12:05with a significantly smaller volume,
00:12:08optimizing its handling and final disposal.
00:12:11In each day, this system
00:12:15processes around 2,250 tons
00:12:18of material in a continuous operation that
00:12:22remains active day and night. The crushing
00:12:25technology allows to reduce the
00:12:29volume of the remains by up to 80%, accelerating the
00:12:32sanitation work and freeing up space for the
00:12:36next phases of recovery. The deployment brings together
00:12:39high-performance machinery, specialized operators and
00:12:42technical personnel who work in a coordinated
00:12:46manner to keep the
00:12:49an oxy-fuel cutting team intervenes large
00:12:52metallic elements, segmenting the structures
00:12:55to facilitate their processing, transport and recycling.
00:12:59Each processed vestige represents another step towards
00:13:02recovery, because rebuilding also means
00:13:05transforming what the emergency left behind into the
00:13:08starting point for the rebirth of Venezuela.
00:14:39We continue with more of this tisana, of course, talking about a topic that
00:14:42surely matters a lot to you at
00:14:46home, and that is the recent approval of the new
00:14:50special regime law for housing rentals
00:14:53that seeks to define the rules of the real
00:14:57estate market and offer urgent housing
00:15:00solutions for families affected after the
00:15:03earthquakes of last June 24
00:15:06that occurred in Venezuela, to know in detail,
00:15:10well, what these new regulations imply,
00:15:13also how those rents will be calculated
00:15:16and what guarantees are established for both
00:15:20landlords and, well, tenants.
00:15:24Today we are joined by.
00:15:37Thank you very much, this topic is very much in vogue, it
00:15:41is important that it was done as the
00:15:44introduction, it has not yet been approved in the official gazette, this draft
00:15:48law, it is in second discussion, it has even been approved, second
00:15:52discussion, but it has not been published, so as long as it is not published,
00:15:56well, it does not come into effect, we still have the current one,
00:15:59okay, let's see, I have constructive
00:16:03criticisms and also
00:16:05I have, well. to improve, let's
00:16:09see, between the current law and this project, of
00:16:12course, I'm going with this project, which comes to
00:16:15formalize the customs that we already had
00:16:18previously, for example, in the current one,
00:16:22not in the project, in the current one you cannot charge in dollars, there is even a
00:16:26sanction for the owner, what happens is that people still did it,
00:16:29there is also no security deposit currently,
00:16:32that is, the one that somehow
00:16:36you come to vacate the property and if there
00:16:39are damages, you had no way to guarantee that damage, that compensation,
00:16:43okay, so what we
00:16:47did previously with private contracts and
00:16:51it was like a kind of custom, we are formalizing it
00:16:53currently, another important thing is
00:16:58save yourself from going through the tsunami, it is the autonomy
00:17:06govern, so you don't have a third party who will be
00:17:10somehow and well,
00:17:13monitoring the rental
00:17:15relationship, of course, that in a way gives you fear, right?
00:17:19in part, not being a landlord but also a tenant, because, well, it's
00:17:23true that this new law is not defined and we
00:17:26go by the previous one, it has always been
00:17:29said, it has been taken into account that the law protects the tenant
00:17:33a lot, but in this case uh, having this law
00:17:37in an approval process in which, well, you don't
00:17:40have a deposit, you have a different payment, when you have
00:17:44perhaps a currency debate at the time of canceling
00:17:47anything for the house, how does this
00:17:50new law protect the landlord
00:17:53without disadvantaging him and without making him afraid to perhaps rent
00:17:57his property, because previously, well, you asked for months of
00:18:01deposit to safeguard it, but now
00:18:03taking into account that you can't, how will that process be? Well,
00:18:07in the project you can carry out the request for at
00:18:11least three months, that is, up to three months of deposit or an
00:18:14insurance or an insurance policy,
00:18:17okay, in the current one it was not allowed, only that people did
00:18:21it out of custom, not as if to say, look, if there is any damage to my property,
00:18:24I need to have a guarantee, okay, at least for
00:18:28one month, two months, three months, which is what people used to do, uh, it
00:18:31worries me a little that it leaves
00:18:34a limbo, for example, from the promulgation of that
00:18:38law, people start renting
00:18:41have a little more legal security, so to
00:18:44speak, but those who already have properties rented under the previous
00:18:48law are in a limbo because they had some kind of
00:18:51expectation with this law that somehow people who are
00:18:55trying to execute, evict, vacate their property of
00:18:59tenants who have been trying to evict them for years, will not be
00:19:02able to do so, that is, they are still with the obstacles, so they are legislating
00:19:06from here on out. Okay, there is no principle, the principle of
00:19:09non-retroactivity of the law, that's what it's called, meaning that if someone basically
00:19:12occupied the apartment and doesn't want to leave even if they approve this
00:19:18governed by the previous one, yes, even if today you have
00:19:22a person renting and that person already has possession of the
00:19:25property, if they approve this law and you want to make
00:19:29a new contract, they are still with the previous one, okay, because
00:19:33it's the same subject, it's the same apartment, it's the same
00:19:36house, it's the same...
00:19:39and they already had possession, even in the second discussion it says that they already had
00:19:42possession of the property, so they are governed by the
00:19:46previous one, of course, now a question, how does this stand,
00:19:49we know that there are 3 months of deposit,
00:19:52for example, there are many people who, in addition to the 3 months of
00:19:56deposit, oblige you to pay the year in advance or 6 months
00:19:59in advance or when those 6 months are finished paying, they want you to pay them
00:20:03another 6 months, of course, it depends on the agreement they reach,
00:20:07yes. How does the law then stand in this aspect of the
00:20:11payment that should be monthly,
00:20:14even the draft law specifies that it must
00:20:17be monthly, however, unless
00:20:20otherwise agreed between the parties, for example, it is not illegal to
00:20:24agree that it be paid monthly, quarterly
00:20:27or semi-annually, because it also depends a lot on the duration, the
00:20:30period of contracting is
00:20:33equally agreed between the parties, it says that if not?
00:20:37The time can be 3 months, that is, in my interpretation it can be 3 months, 6
00:20:41months, a year, any time, okay, but it says that if it is not
00:20:45specified, it says that it is for a year, even the
00:20:48adjustments are to...
00:20:52Okay, there is also the preferential offer, okay, the person who
00:20:55already has possession for more than 2 years and not one, for more than
00:20:592 years and is solvent and the person, the owner wants to sell, must
00:21:02offer it to the person who is in possession of their property
00:21:06and now in the second discussion they placed that there were 15 days for
00:21:10the tenant to say whether they want
00:21:13to buy it or not and if not, they can offer it
00:21:17to a third party, okay, another important
00:21:21thing is that I think there is a confusion between the
00:21:24current and the project is that there is no and
00:21:28it is not stipulated in the previous one nor in the current one nor in the one
00:21:31that comes legal extension corresponding when the contract
00:21:35ends, the contract ends, what happens with the current one
00:21:39okay you have to go through and exhaust an administrative route before
00:21:42the tsunamis and with this project you no longer have to go through the
00:21:46SUNAB, you can, the contract is over, however you must carry out
00:21:50a conflict resolution, you must carry out mediation, conciliation
00:21:54somehow the execution by the municipal
00:21:57courts or by the arbitral tribunals,
00:22:01now if you save yourself that procedure before the tsunami,
00:22:05okay, which usually
00:22:08practice between 8 months and a year, okay,
00:22:12if you save that, but the courts currently have
00:22:15instances and have incidents,
00:22:17so it does not specify.
00:22:20in time and very important the second
00:22:24uh, the second approval of this
00:22:26project, they did place the procedure which is a brief
00:22:30procedure, okay, so that was not in the first one either, it was something that concerned
00:22:33us regarding the amount and judicial procedures,
00:22:37of course, it is something to debate between both parties,
00:22:40but when you start to do analyses
00:22:44eh, there may be fear on the part of the owner,
00:22:48perhaps today the lack of confidence to rent because
00:22:51well, it is true that you are renting to a person you don't know, you don't understand
00:22:55how they will manage the space you have at that moment, in this case your
00:22:58property, but also speaking about this, eh, I know there are many people
00:23:02who live rented and many of those
00:23:06areas were affected, in this case eh, the
00:23:10residences that were affected
00:23:13due to the earthquake, in this case, how is it done, how does the
00:23:17law protect those people perhaps those who were left homeless
00:23:20and are looking for a new home to move into,
00:23:24how in this case does this new law protect the owner,
00:23:27okay, the owner, well, let's start with the tenant, the
00:23:31tenant, eh, they are protecting them with this
00:23:34draft law, why, because they are trying to, with this
00:23:37project, there is a little more confidence that has been lost during all
00:23:41these years so that the owner can rent, even I have told
00:23:45many clients, look, don't rent yet, let's wait for this
00:23:48project to be approved, that... in the gazette and that from that effective date
00:23:52then we have a little more leeway regarding
00:23:54uh, the agreement and the will between the
00:23:58parties, now the owner is a little
00:24:01more, uh, I think he can be, my word will
00:24:04be, he will have a little more legal security,
00:24:08however, it still has many deficiencies regarding the
00:24:11procedures, because yes, they already establish that it is a brief procedure,
00:24:15they already establish eh that I can go
00:24:19to the courts or I can do it through an arbitration tribunal, yes,
00:24:23that's fine, I understand it, but the thing is that, for example, I don't have preventive
00:24:26measures that I can resort to in the courts
00:24:30to guarantee the results of a trial and be able
00:24:34to pressure the tenant in that way, so
00:24:37that's a bit complex, no, even for the tenant
00:24:41it worries me a little because if the owner one day says, look, I closed the bank account,
00:24:45suppose we agreed in bolivars and I close the bank
00:24:48account because I don't want you to pay me anymore. or because I don't want you there anymore,
00:24:52no, then, eh, at that moment
00:24:56the confusion comes because where does the tenant go to say
00:25:00hey, they won't let me pay and I want to fulfill my obligation, aha,
00:25:03there is a detail to clarify already to close this
00:25:06conversation, it is that apparently after 3 months
00:25:10of not paying that rent, you should leave
00:25:14the apartment, yes, you should leave the apartment, for how long,
00:25:17exactly, you should leave the apartment. But it is at that
00:25:20moment that you stop paying, it even says two
00:25:23months, both public services and
00:25:27rent, okay, like rent payments, if after
00:25:30that the person legally,
00:25:33morally should leave, but it is not usually the
00:25:37normal procedure, but rather, look, give me a little more time, I have nowhere
00:25:40to go, I have no way to pay, give me another chance, so you would have to
00:25:44initiate these procedures to request the eviction, of course, the
00:25:48problem remains in the time of these
00:25:51procedures, because if you resort to the law, but the law does not
00:25:54respond to you in one month or two months, but in a year or a year and a
00:25:58half, then nothing is really being done, so
00:26:02I think that... the most important thing, in addition to this
00:26:05new law, is that the process is completed
00:26:09in a short time that is viable for the owner and that gives
00:26:13him that security and that he says now I can rent because I know that
00:26:16in two or three months if something happens that person will be evicted and just
00:26:22time to rent, wait for the law to come out perhaps and understand
00:26:26it a little, analyze it and according to that, well, start
00:26:30doing it again to be more secure as an owner. Yes, and that
00:26:33trust, legal security between the parties is generated so that they can then
00:26:37rent, because many people need a home
00:26:40currently, of course they do. rent, that has to
00:26:43happen, but the agreements have to be clear, thank you for
00:26:47joining us, please, your social media because surely there were
00:26:50questions there, yes, my social media @legalizad2 with a two
00:27:20This Saturday on Another View, we took a 2-year
00:27:24break and as a result of
00:27:28this tragedy that really not
00:27:31only hit the... but an entire nation, eh,
00:27:35we had to come back, our program is for 24 months where
00:27:38we can assist at

00:29:54Advances in neurotechnology continue to open
00:29:58paths that until recently seemed impossible and
00:30:01now neuralink aims to restore sight
00:30:04even to those who have been born blind to talk about this
00:30:08revolutionary topic and
00:30:10talk about the announcements of blindside implants and understand how technology
00:30:14seeks to directly stimulate the visual cortex, today we are joined by
00:30:18technology specialist Jason Rauseo to talk about this
00:30:22topic, welcome Jason, how wonderful, no
00:30:25thanks, always a pleasure to be here, well, let's talk a
00:30:28bit about what this chip that would go into the
00:30:32brain of people who have no vision is about, how would these
00:30:36people actually see? Look,
00:30:39this neuralink topic is not new, it has been
00:30:42around for a long time, especially an initial debate that was quite strong
00:30:46at a media level due to the more ethical component of
00:30:50this issue of implanting
00:30:54eh, already a couple of
00:30:57years ago they received authorization from the FDA in the United
00:31:01States to be able to start human trials and that is the news that has spread
00:31:04a lot this week, that results from those neuralink
00:31:08human trials are already being seen, which are
00:31:11currently allowing, so far they only announced that some
00:31:15people who had lost their vision recovered it
00:31:18completely, in the report published by
00:31:22the FDA this week, which is precisely when they invited me to the program,
00:31:25I took the opportunity to read it, they talk about a
00:31:29recovery of up to 80% of lost vision thanks to this
00:31:32implant, it is still in trials,
00:31:35neuralink still does not have
00:31:38authorization to be used openly
00:31:42and be accessible to people, research has
00:31:45advanced a lot, this still has an ethical
00:31:49component that has not yet been solved because there must first be
00:31:52legislation, control over the company, especially because
00:31:56Neuralink is part of the Elon Musk group of companies,
00:32:00so there are anti-monopoly laws and a lot
00:32:03of things that exist in the United States that have still
00:32:07put certain obstacles in the company's way to be able to go
00:32:11commercial, however, this is a technology
00:32:15that has been talked about a lot, that has many uses and a potential
00:32:19that is also quite large, the initial
00:32:22neuralink that had been proposed was a fairly
00:32:26complex chip, the last one they showed is much simpler, much easier, less
00:32:29invasive, because the initial one even had to open an
00:32:33incision in the back of the head, it was very
00:32:37large, now apparently this new one, according to what they showed in this
00:32:40report that was published, is much more eh, it is
00:32:44less one side only,
00:32:48eh, but the potential they are proposing is that it is not only for
00:32:52vision issues, it is also for issues for
00:32:55people who have serious neurological issues who lose connections
00:32:59within the brain, it would work for Alzheimer's for
00:33:03example, it is one of the next announcements that are expected, even within the
00:33:06report they mention that tests are already being done with degenerative
00:33:10diseases in the brain, among them Alzheimer's and that
00:33:13well,
00:33:16despite how novel it seems, it is a technology that
00:33:20is only advancing Neuralink, in
00:33:23China there is a company that is also doing it, eh, but
00:33:26still the Chinese are a little more reserved about announcing these
00:33:29things until they have them ready, so
00:33:32with this announcement that Neuralink just made and that LOM
00:33:36Mox just made directly, who has been bragging a lot this
00:33:39week, eh, surely we will hear some news from the
00:33:43Asian
00:33:45companies saying that they also have this advance, you know there is a
00:33:48constant competition, I think we
00:33:51could stick with the last thing you
00:33:54mentioned, right, perhaps not pay so much attention to those headlines
00:33:58we see on social networks that are spectacular that say
00:34:03recover vision
00:34:07recent statements he said that
00:34:11there would be, that they would have the possibility
00:34:15to see ultraviolet
00:34:18thermal vision, all these types of things and
00:34:22he was bragging in a way, wasn't he,
00:34:25bragging in a certain way saying that we were going to be almost
00:34:29like androids, we were going to be like superheroes, so it's
00:34:33like, well, it's very good that it's being developed, I think it's
00:34:36something we've commented on many times here that the advances in technology
00:34:39are divine, that they are used for the field of
00:34:43health, of science, and for the common
00:34:47good, but evidently we have to take things with a lot of
00:34:50calm, he also says that in about
00:34:546 months to a year is when these first tests begin
00:34:57and that they will be able to see completely in hd 4k
00:35:01spectacular, however, it is also said that the
00:35:04graphics are not going to be anything like what he is promising, no, surely it will have
00:35:08its limitations at the beginning, no, eh,
00:35:12the tests that have been shown in this report, they published some
00:35:15images, they don't look
00:35:18100% sharp, okay, obviously this is something they will
00:35:21have to solve as they go along, what has been achieved a lot
00:35:25is to be able to move eh, for example a
00:35:28cursor on a computer using the
00:35:31chip, that is very useful eh, quite useful for people
00:35:35with mobility problems,
00:35:37quadriplegics and all that stuff, people who have
00:35:40motor disabilities, eh, but
00:35:43in terms of images there is still no advance, but how should the approach be,
00:35:47because many times here when we started to talk about neuralink and when
00:35:51Elon Musk commented on this a boss populy, it was
00:35:54mentioned that the beginning was with tests on chimpanzees,
00:35:58initially, initially, so how is this
00:36:02presented now, look, the FDA
00:36:05gave us, yes, the FDA authorization was last
00:36:08year, that is, they should already be doing
00:36:12tests that are just being announced, the
00:36:16possibility that it can already be used, they had already talked about
00:36:19mobility, of being able to move things, even playing video games, just
00:36:22using the cranial
00:36:26implant, but... eh they just made the announcement that
00:36:30it is surely already being tested on humans,
00:36:32eh, also in the report they touch on some issues regarding that it
00:36:36will be able to link with devices, it will be connected to
00:36:40starlink satellites and a number of
00:36:43additional elements that is what is causing eh
00:36:46many conspiracy theories and I get very
00:36:49conspiratorial when I hear about these things that are indeed
00:36:52wonderful as Teresa says for the
00:36:55good use. technology and advances, because let's see, we are
00:36:59talking about a sensor of a chip that will capture
00:37:03external information by sending information to the
00:37:06neurons, so in that way people will
00:37:09be able to create images, they will be able to see, they will be able to in
00:37:13some way we talk, so what other information will you get from my
00:37:17brain besides what I
00:37:20what you see, who will see what you see, because if that is connected, and who can even
00:37:24manage that information, let's see, because if it's
00:37:28easy to hack a social network, an application,
00:37:32they can also hack the brain, so it's a complex topic,
00:37:35we have to talk about that, a lot of elements come into play, such as data
00:37:39privacy, the cybersecurity of that platform,
00:37:42eh, and a lot of technical elements that have to be addressed
00:37:46long before that comes out for commercial use, eh, besides, that
00:37:50even merits modification of legislation
00:37:53in the countries where it will be implemented because the laws have
00:37:56to protect in some way the users of that
00:38:00platform, of course, the question is how much will that
00:38:03privacy be protected if through
00:38:07our smartphones, social networks, every time you
00:38:11click accept you are giving your soul to the owner of the
00:38:14company, imagine in the
00:38:17case of Neuralink when you
00:38:21they ask, what will you be giving because through the
00:38:24small print they can keep a lot of
00:38:28information, in fact, look, I link it with a new
00:38:31information that there is, you know that in the United States they are now prohibiting
00:38:35electric vacuum cleaners because through
00:38:39their sensor they take photographs in people's
00:38:42homes, even if you are in the bathroom they make a map, so your
00:38:46intimate photos are there, who stops that, who stops
00:38:49what Neuralink can save, yes, well, in
00:38:53this case Neuralink, having medical use, has greater
00:38:58difference from what you propose for social networks and
00:39:01digital platforms, perhaps there are many gray areas at a legislative
00:39:04level in many countries around the world, however, in the area of
00:39:08health there are many regulations, the FDA is quite strict
00:39:11when it comes to approving products and all this, however,
00:39:14eh, I think that it will not take
00:39:18long to be able to go commercial because you have to
00:39:21go through too many filters currently, perhaps
00:39:25at the time when Elon Musk
00:39:29was part of the US government, which at first the
00:39:32Trump administration perhaps saw as much more possible for these
00:39:36things to advance, it was even one of the topics that was most talked about at that time, that he was going to
00:39:40take advantage of that moment to test Neuralink, however he didn't have
00:39:44time and he has been very insistent that
00:39:47Neuralink brings tons of benefits, even that comment like the one you
00:39:51say about us becoming superhumans with a much
00:39:54greater perception of our environment. However, that is not
00:39:58so, it is not so simple and it is not so
00:40:02simple that it manages to come out, perhaps they approve it in the United States for
00:40:05tests, but from there to it reaching, for example, for us to be able to have
00:40:09access to it freely in Venezuela is
00:40:12quite complex and quite good, evidently I think that just
00:40:15as we commented last week, what is exciting about it
00:40:19is terrifying, Jason, we thank you again for
00:40:22joining us, you are part of the house, please give us your social
00:40:26networks, always my social networks jd
00:40:29rauseo on all platforms and this week I finally resumed my
00:40:32content eh and well, we already have several things there, a
00:40:36podcast and something that we are going to release,
00:41:02Thundernet, the most affordable mega on the
00:41:05market, invites you to watch, first
00:41:08page,
00:41:15do you know what is the word that most hinders your desire to travel?
00:41:19budget, well, from today we are going to
00:41:22forget about it, in Venett tour you can travel all over
00:41:26Venezuela paying for your trip in comfortable installments, so stop
00:41:30doing numbers and start packing your bags, the Gran
00:41:33Sabana, the beaches of the east or the Andes are waiting for
00:41:36you, in Venetur live:
00:41:40Venezuela your way win a 0 km car,
00:41:43three motorcycles, five trips for two people with
00:41:47all expenses paid, 10 sterling antennas and more than
00:41:51200 prizes in home appliances, and all this is
00:41:54possible thanks to creymax and credit match premium because for every
00:41:57dollar you advance on your monthly installments you accumulate
00:42:01credipoints, this allows you to participate in our monthly
00:42:04drawing and it's very simple,
00:42:07$1 is one credipoint.
00:42:10$100 are 100 credipoints, it's that
00:42:13easy, multimax, the best brands in
00:44:01or false, generated by artificial intelligence, known
00:44:04as keep this term in mind, it is lopaganda and
00:44:08it is flooding our screens with false images of
00:44:12catastrophes or absurd montages and a
00:44:15debate opens about whether this digital saturation is
00:44:19encompassing our critical capacity in a way that
00:44:22the debate we have for you
00:44:26that we propose today in La Tizana, let's see, well,
00:44:30false content has always existed, what happens is that
00:44:34today it is easier to do, for example with artificial
00:44:38intelligence, what happens?
00:44:40eh that well, nowadays in some social networks, for example,
00:44:44like Instagram, you can sometimes see that the content says it is made
00:44:47with AI or includes artificial intelligence images, I think that is
00:44:51what has to be present, because if
00:44:54there are people who see a flying dog and think it's true
00:44:58but it's made with AI, imagine an image or a
00:45:01video made so realistically that it puts in doubt
00:45:05even the most agile minds on that subject,
00:45:08no, well, you know that I was just talking about that,
00:45:12I saw a video recently, besides they put scary
00:45:15musical backgrounds, right, so you are like,
00:45:19wait, what is happening and those
00:45:22videos that they put of aliens arriving to
00:45:25the world and images and ships appear and you already believe
00:45:29that, a person who perhaps does not have an important critical sense
00:45:32says wait, this is a lie, but a person who perhaps has the
00:45:36lack of knowledge can say, eh, wait, but is this happening and not only with that.
00:45:40Even you can see it with natural catastrophes that
00:45:44happen in different countries and you say wait, but is this
00:45:47true or false, is it AI, because many do not contain the
00:45:50AI watermark, so that makes you doubt even to
00:45:54investigate and say wait, where did this happen, did this tsunami
00:45:58happen or not and when you start to look and when you get into looking for
00:46:22precisely false content is increasingly there
00:46:26in front of you, talking about whether this
00:46:29will annul or not the criteria, well, we have to see, for
00:46:32example, in fact there are memes circulating about the fact that
00:46:36my mom asking me if this is AI no and it's a little dog like
00:46:40that, you have to have common sense, right, see if that really is
00:46:44capable of being done by an animal, no, and there you know when
00:46:47the content is really false or true, where does the problem really
00:46:50lie precisely when it is disseminated? images generated with AI
00:46:54that are really realistic with respect to natural
00:46:57catastrophes, but always the recommendation will be to look for that
00:47:01reliable source, that is, portals of communication media where
00:47:04they can really tell us if this information is true or not,
00:47:08that is, a tsunami, I don't know, in Japan, ah
00:47:12okay, well, I'm going to any news portal, Globovisión, to see if
00:47:15this is really true or not, really the criterion also lies in
00:47:19that it has touched the point, it has crossed the line, that there are
00:47:23media outlets that unfortunately have published or have
00:47:26reposted propaganda broadcasts because it looks
00:47:29so real that at the moment and for the scoop they want to do it
00:47:33immediately and they didn't really verify it because
00:47:36of course when you see those images so well
00:47:39made you say it can't be a lie, now I
00:47:42particularly as a human being who can fall
00:47:46for that, I take a screenshot of what
00:47:50I am seeing on social media if it seems a bit suspicious and I ask
00:47:54the AI if it is true, no, that it investigates about it and of course it gives me a
00:47:57report of what is real and what is not and many times
00:48:01especially in medical advances, no, that the
00:48:04cure for I don't know what will come out, so you ask the AI
00:48:10everything that is false there and well, that the headline is
00:48:12sensationalist, so put on the table
00:48:16let's see, because we all have very present that we have
00:48:19to verify the content we see on social networks today. Many
00:48:23people have a large community of followers
00:48:25and feel that they have the
00:48:28responsibility and the right to inform and although we can all
00:48:32do what we want with our social networks, we all know very
00:48:35well that we have to do it responsibly, right,
00:48:39so putting that aside and understanding it
00:48:42completely, the question that I think we could ask ourselves at this
00:48:46moment in this debate is why is this happening, what is the
00:48:50need to be showing us content that our
00:48:53algorithm is modified in such a way that
00:48:56the way in which the content that reaches
00:48:59our phone is
00:49:02fake, that it is false, why is this happening,
00:49:05there must be some way in which some
00:49:08reason, rather, there must be some reason why
00:49:12those who are owners of social
00:49:16networks, who modify our
00:49:19algorithm, have some responsibility. Because that
00:49:23is not random, yes, you know that, eh, in part,
00:49:26well, the people who consume that content will also get that
00:49:29content, no, and perhaps it's not that you consume it,
00:49:32simply the algorithm reflects it to you, why,
00:49:36because it's what's viral, what happens, many people make this type
00:49:39of slopaganda, why, because surely that will generate
00:49:43views for them, it will generate reproductions and in part they will win,
00:49:46of course, when you see content like this that are natural catastrophes,
00:49:50of course, they have more.
00:49:56more reach and that is what makes it reach your algorithm without wanting to, but in communication, in communication there is a term that all
00:50:00people who have been in university studying
00:50:03social communication, journalism, know what agenda-setting
00:50:07is, we all know that the big
00:50:10media, who are the people who
00:50:13want to have certain ideals that are on
00:50:17everyone's lips, show us content and that is also done by
00:50:20the same television channels.
00:50:22digital media, radio media, let's see, everyone,
00:50:26if we here at La Tizana start talking about the
00:50:29Omnis, as you said Julio,
00:50:31repeatedly the people who watch us, our audience, will start to believe
00:50:35that it is happening, so if
00:50:38those who are responsible for social
00:50:42networks and algorithms show us day after
00:50:45day images created with artificial intelligence
00:50:49100% realistic, there is a reason.
00:50:52there is a reason why, well, I honestly believe, like everything,
00:50:56here I get a little
00:50:59conspiratorial, no, everything sometimes is an
00:51:02experiment, so sometimes you can ask yourself but why do they
00:51:06allow it, I think it has happened to all of us but why are they
00:51:10experimenting, no one has put a limit on them or told them no, there is no
00:51:13legal framework that says that cannot be done, so they
00:51:17are experimenting, they also see how
00:51:20the
00:51:22followers of an account the population to that type
00:51:26of images, to that type of information and they are really seeing how easy
00:51:30it is to fool us, right? And I think they have realized that it is quite easy to fool
00:51:34the population, too. They, uh, it's like
00:51:38movies, right? Sometimes you watch science fiction movies
00:51:41that throw things at you that you say, "Is it true?" And then in a few
00:51:45years they happen. I think they are also testing the population
00:51:49if we start to conspire a bit.
00:51:52But why not, why not think about it? We are free to do it.
00:51:56Well, that's it. The question, as always, at the end of each debate, is that
00:52:00you comment to us through social networks, what do you think of this theory, what do you think of
00:52:04the propaganda that is precisely something
00:52:06conspiratorial to somehow manipulate our
00:52:10thought and our judgment. Let us know through social
00:52:14networks and we're going to a break with this @alatisanag.
00:54:22moment that no one sees, the order of each note, the
00:54:26calm before the signal and the value that
00:54:29each word must
00:54:32filling a screen. but about inhabiting your
00:54:36reality, because informing is not just saying what
00:54:40happens, but going beyond that
00:54:44reality,
00:54:47we explain the world to you so that you understand your country,
00:54:51we translate science to take care of your well-being, we filter the
00:54:55future so that you can use it today, we verify the figures and we
00:54:59translate your daily life so that you decide clearly, we carry your
00:55:02voice from every corner of Venezuela.
00:55:05We document the passion that unites us as a country,
00:55:09we show real culture, without rumors, without
00:55:12filters, with the talent that represents us,
00:55:16all these voices, all these sources,
00:55:19united by a single passion, the
00:55:21news,
00:55:24after 31 years of dedication, today
00:55:27we renew our commitment with more strength
00:55:31than ever, because our greatest
00:55:35is to keep you well informed.
00:56:16Ladies and gentlemen, if you are active on social networks, you must have noticed the
00:56:19recent physical change of Ariana Grande, it has once again
00:56:23triggered all the alarms in the 2.0
00:56:26world, reopening a very complex debate in
00:56:29Hollywood about the return of extreme standards
00:56:33of thinness for. to discuss the impact of these
00:56:37references on collective mental health, today we are joined by clinical
00:56:40psychologist María Fernanda Oliver. How are you? A
00:56:44pleasure, thank you very much for having me here. Welcome. Well, thank you for
00:56:47joining us and for talking about such a delicate topic. It is important
00:56:50to say that here we obviously like
00:56:53to talk about other people's bodies, criticize them, but what
00:56:57happens when through social
00:57:00networks, fans, haters too,
00:57:03but especially those who want Ariana Grande, well, they feel that
00:57:07alarm for seeing her in a video, perhaps with extreme
00:57:11thinness, they worry about her health, so that is
00:57:15what we want to focus on today. part of the
00:57:18health, very good, yes, well, obviously being a public
00:57:21figure, we are exposing ourselves to be
00:57:25role models for children, for young people, for
00:57:28teenagers, even for people to like us, because when a person is in the
00:57:32public eye, people start to feel
00:57:35that affinity with you, right? So, uh, obviously
00:57:38people will start to worry because they can see Ariana
00:57:42Grande as, I don't know, that
00:57:46figure to follow. idol, even many people say, "Oh, I feel like she's my
00:57:50long-lost sister or whatever," a distant cousin, as
00:57:53we sometimes see, she's everyone's aunt,
00:57:56and cousin too, so
00:58:00obviously people are going to worry, and they have reason to, because obviously the
00:58:03change that Ariana Grande has had has
00:58:06been noticeable, but
00:58:10here, well, we also have to understand that we cannot assume a disorder or that
00:58:14a person is going through something until that person actually says it. and
00:58:17becomes aware of it herself, right? As has happened, there are artists who
00:58:21say: "Look, I'm going through a bad moment, I'm in such
00:58:25a situation" and then people have something to worry about, right? Here the
00:58:28problem is that they haven't
00:58:32made so many public statements from sudden Ariana
00:58:36and at this moment because this is resurfacing
00:58:39at this moment, but people are obviously worrying and it's
00:58:43okay to worry, let's
00:58:46see, this conversation on the internet has been going on for months,
00:58:49it's not something new, however, through
00:58:52the last video published by Ariana of a music
00:58:56video, is when the alarms go off, right?
00:58:59But the conversation about her weight has existed since she
00:59:03was a young Nickelodeon star, because before she was perhaps
00:59:06a little fuller, she was chubbier, as they say, that
00:59:10was the term they used, that she was fuller and that she seemed
00:59:14healthy, however,
00:59:17she herself has declared that at that time
00:59:21she did not feel well, not so much with her body, but with
00:59:25her health, mental health, exactly, well,
00:59:28that's it, that is, right now what we can see is a concern for
00:59:32her, we cannot confirm anything, obviously, but
00:59:35we can also understand the message that she may be giving to people,
00:59:39to her audience, her followers, her fans
00:59:42and well, obviously it can be
00:59:45the concern of some. Well, here it is worth noting
00:59:49the issue, is extreme thinness becoming fashionable again?
00:59:53So let's
00:59:56what people are saying on social networks about Ariana
00:59:59Grande, that obviously a concern for her health emerged, but
01:00:03on the other hand, we see the criticism of Georgina, Cristiano
01:00:06Ronaldo's partner, who is a healthy woman,
01:00:10who eats, who enjoys her body and who has
01:00:13complained that every summer it's the same problem, she has a body.
01:00:17with curves, well, healthy, I think she is
01:00:21apparently at a normal weight and people
01:00:24criticize her and call her fat, so what are we teaching
01:00:28children, teenagers who see all this? Well,
01:00:31it's a, it's a very confusing message, right?
01:00:35Because there is also the issue of Saxenda, of
01:00:38Ozempic, of all these injectables that artists are
01:00:41even using, and we even see that Ozempic face that is very
01:00:45noticeable too. And we are sending the
01:00:49message that the thinner we look, at all
01:00:52costs, we do it. It doesn't matter what we have to do to achieve
01:00:56thinness or that ideal, that
01:00:59expectation that the person has. There we can talk about
01:01:03certain disorders that we can have in the world of psychology
01:01:07which is, at least, body dysmorphic disorder, also eating
01:01:10disorders and that is very especially associated with people
01:01:13who are very exposed to the public. Not because they are
01:01:16exposed to criticism, however much one does not want to
01:01:20judge or try not to give an opinion, we are exposed or
01:01:23people who expose themselves to the public eye
01:01:27have to have a shield, that is, honestly, all those people, a
01:01:30Georgina, an Ariana Grande, even a Miley Cyrus, whoever
01:01:34is in the public eye, they have to have
01:01:38worked on their self-esteem and keep working on it throughout
01:01:42the years and their time, with their specialist. to
01:01:45be able to withstand good, bad and regular criticism,
01:01:49so in this world we are giving a we are going to
01:01:52constantly have that incongruity of messages,
01:01:56"I want you to be thinner, but at the same time I want you to do it healthily, but then
01:01:59you have to do it fast, you have to have curves,"
01:02:03so it's an expectation of a beauty ideal that can
01:02:06then begin to turn into that with women, with men, yes, exactly, and I
01:02:10love that if men can also suffer from this,
01:02:14and yes they can, but more. exactly, you know what I love, Maria Fernanda, that you
01:02:18brought up the topic of injectables, because you say,
01:02:21and it's a constant we see on the internet, yes, being
01:02:25thin but in a healthy way, however it's also... celebrated
01:02:29when people achieve the ideal of beauty, even if it's with that
01:02:32trick, so to speak, and that's the case that is also
01:02:36super recent, a few days ago Amy
01:02:39Schumer, a very famous actress
01:02:43and comedian, posted some spectacular photos on a yacht
01:02:46in a swimsuit, she has been very
01:02:49open about her use of Ozempic and other
01:02:52injectables, so she is celebrated for being thin
01:02:56now because she was a little fuller before, but...
01:03:00on the other hand, if you're too thin, we don't want you like that, this is very
01:03:03wrong, it's also like the double discourse that also exists on social
01:03:08networks, publicly, that many artists, many singers
01:03:11have celebrated their curves throughout the
01:03:14years, but suddenly with the Ozempic trend, they start consuming,
01:03:18they start injecting themselves, so now I'm at my ideal weight, I've never
01:03:22felt so good, but then what happened with the discourse from a few years ago when you said
01:03:26body positive, you know what I mean? Well, because
01:03:30it's like you try to make everyone happy, I think,
01:03:34right? And especially the power to meet certain standards in
01:03:37different fans. There are fans who need you to
01:03:41give them confidence that you like your body
01:03:44and feel comfortable, so we get to that, that
01:03:48we don't have to worry more about health, we have to then
01:03:51go more to the other extremes, oh well, then
01:03:54I also support that, so we have to find
01:03:57that balance, really, and understand what one wants. What happens? Here,
01:04:01uh, I see it a lot in the world of psychology how extremes are what is
01:04:05bad. It's not wrong to worry and want
01:04:09to take care of yourself, that is, it's not wrong for you to want surgery because, look,
01:04:12I don't like my nose, I don't like the size of my breasts,
01:04:15that's fine, it's not wrong to do it,
01:04:19that shouldn't be, uh,
01:04:22judged or anything, no. The problem is when we fall into those extremes, at least
01:04:26body dysmorphia is when we talk about a
01:04:30obsessive-compulsive disorder, like I already had a nose job, but then I haven't reached
01:04:33perfection, so maybe I'll get another one or now I want to move on to my
01:04:37legs or now I want to move on to my waist, so it becomes something that is
01:04:40like a compulsion, it's constant, once
01:04:44we reach that point and maybe you
01:04:47delay going out because you're worried about how people will
01:04:51see you or something, that's when we're talking about disorders, in the case of anorexia
01:04:55it can also happen with eating disorders that we start
01:04:59to have... behaviors that
01:05:02make us seek to lose weight, sometimes we succeed, sometimes not,
01:05:05because it all depends on the body, but exactly, the body
01:05:09doesn't necessarily work that way and those disorders
01:05:13are also created, so right now the message we are
01:05:16giving is that it can be very ambiguous because right now we are really living in two worlds
01:05:19where we want to be back in that in
01:05:22that standard of thinness
01:05:25that is not healthy either, yes, that for
01:05:29certain morphologies it could be healthy because there are people
01:05:33who naturally can be very thin and that's fine, but
01:05:37who doesn't have that fast metabolism, who
01:05:41doesn't have that type of body of being very
01:05:45thin without effort, obviously it's doing a
01:05:48job, a sacrifice, and what would worry me most or what I would most like
01:05:52to highlight is how we achieve it, because
01:05:55one can, as we are saying, want to be a little thinner,
01:05:58reach an ideal. Look, I want to have so much
01:06:01body fat percentage, that's fine, but how we achieve it is also
01:06:05important, because it's the message we are also giving to yourself,
01:06:09your body and that you, many, I have seen many cases, I have worked
01:06:13in bariatric clinics and I have taken courses, I am taking a course on eating
01:06:16disorders and there are many people who inject themselves without
01:06:20consulting an endocrinologist, without consulting a nutritionist, without doing it the
01:06:24right way and you don't know how that will affect your metabolism
01:06:28what side effects it will have,
01:06:30so we are talking about creating awareness, you want something
01:06:34cool, fine, first understand if your body can reach that ideal,
01:06:37that is, that thought and let's evaluate,
01:06:41why haven't you reached that weight, that is,
01:06:44we have to do it in a conscious way from the point of
01:06:48view of specialists. Definitely, thank you very
01:06:51much for joining us, obviously we
01:06:54have had this conversation in order to make
01:06:58you reflect and become aware of your body
01:07:02and that health is always paramount,
01:07:06okay, and if you don't feel well with your
01:07:09body, it's not wrong to seek help because
01:07:12sometimes, well, there may be some disorder, thanks to social
01:07:16networks, well, you can find me on Instagram at
01:08:45Today I'm going to explain how water waste
01:08:48directly influences the scarcity of electricity.
01:08:52I seem abundant, but the truth is that although I am a renewable
01:08:55resource, I depend on natural cycles to supply all living
01:08:59organisms. If it doesn't rain, I can't fill the reservoir to
01:09:02capacity, this affects our electricity generation
01:09:06capacity. Likewise, if you misuse your
01:09:10water, it is also a waste of electrical
01:09:13energy, I'll explain, the water you waste
01:09:16in just one minute is equivalent to the energy needed to keep an
01:09:20LED bulb on for 10 hours. Closing the tap while you
01:09:23soap yourself saves up to 12 liters per minute, reducing the load
01:09:27on the pumping motors that send you water from kilometers away. Each
01:09:31drop that comes out of your tap has treatment, pumping
01:09:35and thousands of kilometers of transmission. Caring for
01:09:38water is another way of caring for light, care for energy.
01:09:43You have the control, you care for the
01:09:46current, you have the
01:10:56To all of you who at this time are joining La Tizana, we
01:11:00welcome you and it is a good time that you have been
01:11:03tuning in at this precise moment, why? Because
01:11:07we establish contact with our correspondent in Táchira state,
01:11:11who is in the municipality. Specifically in the Museum of the
01:11:15Holy Christ of La Grita, located in the historic center of this city,
01:11:18a space that safeguards the tangible memory of
01:11:22more than four centuries of faith, art and
01:11:25history.
01:11:33At this moment we are in the Museum of the Holy Christ of La
01:11:37Grita, where the historical heritage of the patron
01:11:41of Táchira state, the patron of Venezuela, is located. Next to me is
01:11:44Isabel Urrea, she is the director of this
01:11:47institution, uh, when was this museum founded and what can
01:11:51we find in these spaces? Well, this museum was
01:11:54founded in 2006, uh, it was a
01:11:58idea of Monsignor Luis Ababuy Trago and Dr. Ana
01:12:01Ramona Montolla de Moreno, in
01:12:042010, uh, with the management done by these two people, the
01:12:07physical plant was achieved and it moved from the
01:12:11parish house. The rectory, which was where the facilities
01:12:14operated, here, as you can see, all the parisomas
01:12:18are kept, we currently have 45
01:12:22that are donated by each institution,
01:12:25uh, uh, of education, national guard,
01:12:29police, air force, uh,
01:12:33we also keep all the relics that since the
01:12:36church was founded, like the baptismal font, the first font,
01:12:40it's here, all the recognition
01:12:42plaques that those people who have had miracles
01:12:46performed by the Holy Christ, they bring them in
01:12:49gratitude. What are the
01:12:51perisomas? Well, the perisomas are like... to say the
01:12:55dress that the Holy Christ wears, which is like a little skirt,
01:12:59so as you can see, most of them have
01:13:02embroidered what is the institution that
01:13:06offers to Christ each
01:13:10year, right? Uh during the year, well, maybe other
01:13:13people can also come but mostly they come on August
01:13:176 so that the Holy Christ can wear a new perisoma
01:13:20as such. What is the value of each of the
01:13:23relics, uh? present here in this museum? Well,
01:13:27value as such, uh a lot, maybe it can't
01:13:31have a material or monetary value, you could say, but
01:13:34yes, a historical value, a value imbued with
01:13:38faith, each object tells us about the Holy Christ, about his
01:13:42trajectory throughout the history of our town, as it was
01:13:46from the year 1610 when that
01:13:49devastating earthquake
01:13:51occurred where the city
01:13:55ends, no longer exists, and the friars, especially Friar
01:13:58Francisco, promise to make the image of the Holy Christ, he starts
01:14:01carving it, he can't and the story tells us that the
01:14:05face was made by an angel, so all that
01:14:08history every time they come here to the museum to
01:14:11visit it, well, taking the tour, it
01:14:13is told as such, thank you very
01:14:17much, we were talking with Mrs. Isabel Urrea, she
01:14:21is the director of the Museum of the Holy Christ of La
01:14:24Grita. We invite you to stay tuned to our screens to
01:14:27learn about the stories of faith and
01:14:30devotion to the Christ of the Serene Face. With this
01:14:34information, we return the contact to the
01:14:36studios.
01:15:06a nice conversation because
01:15:10a repertoire workshop will be held
01:15:13with the aim of benefiting those people who, well,
01:15:16were tragically damaged due to this earthquake on
01:15:20June 24th, and that is why young instrumental
01:15:24artists with a deep sense of solidarity
01:15:27this coming Sunday at the Monte Sacro Cultural Center
01:15:31will open its doors for a very special concert to benefit those affected
01:15:35by the earthquakes. To talk about this beautiful
01:15:38alliance between the Venezuelan Repertoire Workshop and the
01:15:41Impactemos organization, today we are joined by its musical
01:15:44director Jorge Torres and bassist Alexa Rondón, welcome to
01:15:48La Artesana, what a pleasure, thank you very much for the invitation, very happy to be
01:15:51here in this space to be able to talk about this benefit concert.
01:16:04and repertoire workshop already had this date
01:16:08available to do a very interesting recital, but once
01:16:11the tragic event of June 24th occurred,
01:16:15we decided to put all this at the service, of course, of the people
01:16:18and to try to help. Where does the initiative come from, let's see, Jorge or
01:16:22Alexa, to unite, well, of course. to bring smiles, especially
01:16:26because a few days ago we were also talking with another musician and he
01:16:29told us a very particular story and the fact
01:16:33that in a situation like this that Venezuela had to live, he
01:16:36also contributed part of what
01:16:40he knew best how to do, which was to make music, and well, he encountered a
01:16:43very harsh reality, so you are now going to have
01:16:46precisely that opportunity and I
01:16:49suppose you are with the best vibes, with the best enthusiasm, but
01:16:53we also know the reality of what our siblings in Buereño and
01:16:56Caracas are experiencing due to this earthquake. So how does that come about and what
01:17:00expectations do you have when facing
01:17:03that reality soon?
01:17:06Anyone can answer.
01:17:09Well, as musicians, we carry culture in
01:17:13our blood. Basically, after all this situation, we have been
01:17:17very careful really with these cultural activities.
01:17:20Personally, I didn't
01:17:23want to in the first days, I didn't want to make music because the impact is also very
01:17:27hard, not only to see all these news but also this survivor's guilt
01:17:31that has been generated
01:17:34and well, Professor Jorge had the
01:17:38initiative to say, "Well, guys, let's get together to do what we
01:17:42do best and bring joy and bring a little
01:17:45bit of our feelings in our heart to all those
01:17:49people who need it most." It has also been of great
01:17:53help to us ourselves, because getting
01:17:57out of our routine a bit, being at home, watching news, watching
01:18:01all that, yes, that sad information, those
01:18:04painful news, is also like an escape for us
01:18:08and a relief to get together and make music, what we like to
01:18:12do most? Look, you know that right now that you mention this, a few
01:18:15days ago on a program precisely from our television
01:18:19station, there was, well, an artist, a communicator,
01:18:23also an actress, attended a television program and commented
01:18:27that it was an excuse not to
01:18:30reincorporate, and it's true, it's valid, why?
01:18:33Because you are working for what
01:18:37you know how to do and in this
01:18:40case, you are joining precisely for that,
01:18:43to, through your platform, your work, your
01:18:46talent, be able to do this concert or this workshop
01:18:50and that people will not only attend to learn but also will have the
01:18:54possibility to, let's say, collaborate
01:18:57or contribute their little bit. How are you going to conduct this workshop, how long will this repertoire workshop
01:19:01last, from what time to what time will it
01:19:05be and how can I participate and perhaps learn? Yes, it's
01:19:09important to clarify that, if it's a workshop or if it's
01:19:12simply to offer the repertoire of
01:19:16songs. Yes, look, it's a concert, the group is called Venezuelan Repertoire Workshop,
01:19:19we have been in existence for 3 years and we are part of a much
01:19:23larger project called Mis Juguetes Canción which is already 13 years old, let's say that Repertoire
01:19:27Workshop is the largest cast, they are young people of
01:19:30Alexa's age who create repertoire programs
01:19:36people who attend this recital
01:19:39will be able to appreciate, which will be next Sunday, August 9th
01:19:43at 3:30 in the afternoon at the Montesacro Cultural Center,
01:19:47will be for the first time a program with pure unreleased music, pure music composed
01:19:51by the boys, it seemed very valuable to us that
01:19:54precisely for this noble cause it would be with
01:19:57this music, which is like the deepest thing they have, that they will
01:20:01show there the premiere of 15 unreleased
01:20:03works put at the service of
01:20:07this benefit concert recital, which
01:20:11is also very important for us to have a real impact on the
01:20:15communities that are most in need
01:20:18of help. We teamed up with My Toy Song and ImpacTemo, which is a
01:20:21non-profit civil association that has been doing humanitarian
01:20:25work for more than 30 years and of course they have
01:20:29all the experience, you can check their social networks of ImpacTemo, @impactemos, the
01:20:32very serious work they have done during this entire process
01:20:36that has been experienced. of the earthquake, the very
01:20:39impressive numbers they have of aid and we believe
01:20:43that it will be the best way to channel all the money
01:20:46collected that day of the recital, that is, the ticket has a
01:20:50cost and will go to benefit the
01:20:54affected people, exactly, exactly, ImpacTemo will be in charge of
01:20:57channeling what is collected that day to be able to
01:21:01help the most needy, even
01:21:04a very important thing that is a matter of follow-up because
01:21:16but now there is also a process in which what happens with these families,
01:21:19what's next? And they are very
01:21:22seriously also allocating systematic
01:21:25support, they will be attentive to groups of families
01:21:28who, well, now face a tough process of reintegration,
01:21:32of course, how good that through
01:21:35you, through music, and the interpretations you are
01:21:39going to perform, you can support these people. I think
01:21:42that just recently they were debating whether to, well,
01:21:46reincorporate art in
01:21:49Venezuela, in Caracas, and well, I think
01:21:54they know and well, helps in the way
01:21:58they can and that is important to keep in mind, so well,
01:22:01perhaps the term survivor's guilt is something that
01:22:05is... torturing us, so to speak,
01:22:09I think it's time to move forward and understand that if
01:22:13we are surviving precisely, it is to be able to support those
01:22:17people who are in a difficult moment, it's time to get up and

01:29:28What we are doing in this process of recovery and reconstruction
01:29:32is to give hope to the families who were victims of the
01:29:36double earthquake, to give a future, so that children know
01:29:39that they have in their future a
01:29:43home, a house, right now we are clearing land to
01:29:46start building
01:29:49houses, in addition to these 4, which we will deliver from here, so that
01:29:53they know that they are not alone, each person,
01:29:56each child, each elder who is in a temporary
01:29:59camp, know that they are not alone, but that...
01:30:03there is the solidarity hand of a national,
01:30:05regional, local government that works together and in coordination so that
01:30:09everyone can have their home.
