02:44:09cuántos diplomados han podido realizar hasta los momentos? hasta ahora tenemos
02:44:13nueve cortes del programa principal que se
02:44:17el apoyo de la dirección de extensión universitaria de la
02:44:19UCB. y hay otro diplomado que estamos
02:44:22trabajando para volverlo empezar hacer que es sobre derecho de las mujeres y
02:44:26liderazgo empoderamiento. me comentabas que empoderarse en tic es
02:44:30uno de los favoritos, eh, esto por qué, a qué se debe? porque es actualización
02:44:34tecnológica y profesional, en las
02:44:37últimas cortes nos hemos enfocado en hacer formación en docentes
02:44:40universitarios, docentes de básica, bachillerato y profesores universitarios e
02:44:43investigadores, porque ellos son los que forman a los profesionales del presente y del futuro y
02:44:47nos parece que con eso logramos tener un mayor impacto y además de estos
02:44:51programas de formación has podido hacer otro tipos de de
02:44:54trabajos sociales que te hayan marcado. Sí,
02:44:57ahorita, bueno, con lo que ocurrió con con los dos terremotos
02:45:01en en Venezuela en el mes de junio empezamos a trabajar directamente con
02:45:05organizaciones locales para llevar unos kits de higiene
02:45:08este para mujeres con la organización leader women eh que es como
02:45:12la socia principal que se ocurrió esta iniciativa y con eso fuimos
02:45:16a dar charlas de lo que tiene que ver con la autogestión, el
02:45:19autocuidado, el autocontrol de frente a las emociones, sea con las emociones
02:45:23frente esto que ocurrió y además pudimos lograr hacer un enlace con
02:45:26distintas. empresas para poder canalizar de una manera más adecuada insumos
02:45:30y materiales que necesitaban comunidades específicas, este tipo
02:45:34de de labores que que realizaste durante el tiempo de de
02:45:39que queda de mes sí, ahorita estamos por lo menos estos últimos meses que quedan del
02:45:43año estamos procurando hacer otras actividades porque además estamos integrando
02:45:47otro tipo de charlas, nosotros damos una charla sobre lo que es la asistencia humanitaria
02:45:50segura, eh todo lo que tiene que ver la prevención de violencia contra mujer
02:45:54también en los espacios de de riesgo como lo que está ocurriendo.
02:45:57ahorita y unas charlas para que ellas vuelvan como a encontrar su propósito
02:46:01para poder seguir adelante frente bueno a un entorno tan complicado como lo que
02:46:05se presentó por esta situación y dentro de otros proyectos otros
02:46:08planes que tengas para lo que queda de año eh está este incluido
02:46:12y hay más diplomados eh vamos hacer el lanzamiento del diplomado que va empezar
02:46:16el año que viene pensábamos hacer uno este en las regiones en el interior del
02:46:20país y en modalidad virtual porque muchos nos piden como que se haga algo

02:51:15beginning. Yes, well, Eposak was born as a
02:51:19micro-financing platform for tourism entrepreneurs at the
02:51:22base of the pyramid, that is, entrepreneurs who wanted to make a
02:51:26sancocho, who wanted to do a bike route, who wanted to make a small
02:51:29inn, and at that time people
02:51:32would do like a "cow," meaning they would contribute what they
02:51:36could. We would invest that in
02:51:39these projects, and the entrepreneur would repay as
02:51:43their venture was activated. That, due to circumstances of
02:51:46inflation, etc., changed and
02:51:50evolved, and Eposak became an organization
02:51:54that develops experiential projects, meaning projects that
02:51:57impacted the entire community. We did projects
02:52:00from cultural centers, we did musical tourism projects, for example
02:52:04with the Gran Mariscal de Ayacucho Symphony
02:52:07Orchestra. In that musical tourism project, folkloric music was
02:52:10transcribed into sheet music, there was
02:52:14musical instruction for the community,
02:52:18presentations were held, a media tour was done, a music video was made, for
02:52:21example, for the stars of Birongo.
02:52:24And our flagship
02:52:26project, which has been our banner project, is called
02:52:30LightsOn. It's a project that was born in its fundraising
02:52:34phase in 2018 and was executed in 2020.
02:52:38It was a project to bring solar energy to
02:52:41schools and clinics in the Camarata Valley. We always work
02:52:45in remote communities that have great tourism potential.
02:52:48We have worked in Canaima, in Los Roques, in Mérida, well, in the
02:52:52Camarata Valley, which is like our main
02:52:55community, where we started working, in
02:52:58Birongo, in Choroní, in Chuao.
02:53:01So, for us, this LightsOn project, which at
02:53:05that time was a pilot project, once we
02:53:08executed it, and Camarata is a community with very special
02:53:11characteristics because everything has to arrive by plane,
02:53:15we said, well, let's see how we can make this
02:53:18project resurface, especially
02:53:22after the earthquake in La Guaira, and
02:53:25we said, well, this is an opportunity for LightsOn to continue bringing light
02:53:29to this community. Before talking about this special
02:53:33project, I want to know how the team is formed, how do you get to these projects, how do you
02:53:36develop them? Yes, well, we have a very small
02:53:40and very versatile team. At
02:53:44this moment, there are four people. We have,
02:53:48well, one person for administration, one person for
02:53:52content creation, because for us it is very important to be able
02:53:55to show so that people can see what is happening,
02:53:58can be sure that the
02:54:01funds they are donating are reaching where they need to
02:54:05go and that at the same time you can learn about and fall in love with what
02:54:09you are supporting. We have a project manager and in my case I am in charge
02:54:13of direction, meaning that these projects are born
02:54:17really from project management, that is, they
02:54:20see the need and activate a project. Well, it's teamwork with the
02:54:24community, that has been part of Eposak's learning,
02:54:27because we don't impose a project on the community, but
02:54:31we can see a need, the community
02:54:35communicates the need to us, we
02:54:38work on it together and then develop it.
02:54:41For example, this issue of
02:54:45electricity, well, I think it's quite obvious
02:54:49that it can always be improved a lot. In the case
02:54:52of Camarata, they had a micro-hydroelectric plant that has a micro-hydroelectric plant
02:54:56that had many fluctuations that
02:54:59have been losing capacity for the community over time, so
02:55:03they themselves told us, "Look, how can we improve this situation?" This has been the
02:55:07case with each of the projects. It is part of the learning
02:55:11process. It also happened to us when we were
02:55:14starting that we would arrive with a mega-project and the community would say, "Look,
02:55:18we don't want it, we don't need it." So,
02:55:22today, we see it as teamwork
02:55:26and we don't do it if the community doesn't want it, if the community doesn't
02:55:29understand it, if we simply see
02:55:32that there is no receptivity, of course. And
02:55:36this new project that will be developed in La Guaira, is it approved and do you have
02:55:40a start date? Yes, we already did a whole, I mean, we are going to
02:55:45green coast. We did a whole tour, we have spoken with the community
02:55:49leaders, we have already visited the
02:55:52buildings that will probably be the ones we are going
02:55:56to illuminate with the project. So yes, it's teamwork,
02:56:00and also in the particular case of LightsOn, where there are equipment involved,
02:56:03a principle
02:56:07that we have that is very important is that those equipment are not
02:56:10ours, those equipment then, through a
02:56:14the community and the community is responsible for those
02:56:17equipment, that is, they own that
02:56:21project. So it's a way not only
02:56:23to make them responsible but also to
02:56:26empower them to say, "Look, it's mine and I have to take care of it." And
02:56:30how many communities would be benefited with this
02:56:32project specifically in Caruao?
02:56:35We are proposing that it be about seven
02:56:38communities. If you want to tell me a little about what this
02:56:42style of energy generation is about, well, to begin with,
02:56:45Eposak is an organization that is dedicated to the development of sustainable

02:57:51be, as it used to be said, that refrigerators could not be used or air conditioning could
02:57:55not be used and that today it has
02:57:57evolved, so it is an excellent alternative for a
02:58:01town like La Guaira that we know has a lot of sun. Are you based on that
02:58:05project in La Guaira, in Caruao, but do you perhaps
02:58:08have other areas that you will also visit with this project? It's on the green coast, from
02:58:12Anare to Chuspa. There we are going to start with
02:58:16schools, clinics, schools, especially the areas that
02:58:19need more electricity. For example, in the Camarata Valley, we work with the
02:58:22high school because first, it is the only high school in that
02:58:26area and second, it is the only place that has a computer
02:58:29lab, so it's not just electricity that you bring with
02:58:33electricity, but also information.
02:58:35Education, the spaces can be used at night, you can have
02:58:39classes at night, you can have meetings with the teachers, so it's a way
02:58:42to optimize the spaces and, of course, in the clinics, because
02:58:46it is also a basic resource for when you, as a tourist, want to go to a place,
02:58:50one of the things you ask is, "Oh, if something happens to me, where do I go? Are there
02:58:53alternatives?" So, if a place can have
02:58:57its cold chain for vaccines, if it can have its cold
02:59:01chain for insulin, if it can have the active
02:59:08devices, well, that makes the place more, not
02:59:12only more attractive for tourists, but also the community can
02:59:16feel more secure to develop themselves. The
