00:02:11challenges of integration,
00:02:13headlines, I look for what
00:02:14prepare for natural or social cohesion, and strong pressure on
00:02:16essential public services converge, especially in large urban

00:02:26current crisis shaking the secondary

00:02:30facilities of the National Experimental of students protest the precariousness of infrastructure,
00:02:33teacher shortages, and the
00:02:35lack of resources. Although the movement
00:02:38was born from legitimate trade union and student demands,
00:02:41Emmanuel Macron's executive and right-wing sectors accuse
00:02:45Visión. With the Plaza de radical left-wing parties the Mirandina such as La France Insoumise of
00:02:50capitalizing on and fanning the unrest for electoral

00:03:05major political desgaste
00:03:08and increases the debate on the proportionality in the use of
00:03:10police force. This will be the topic of analysis in this edition of
00:03:14Ampliamente, but first let's review some data about
00:03:17this country. Under the imposing shadow of the Eiffel
00:03:21Tower and the vibrant pulse of
00:03:23precisely the role of its boulevards, France rises as the great cultural
00:03:26and diplomatic epicenter of Europe, with a population
00:03:30globally. So far, that exceeds 68 million inhabitants. This nuclear
00:03:35power and permanent member of the UN Security Council has the seventh largest
00:03:38economy in the world, driven by giants in the aerospace
00:03:42matters. We prioritize industry, luxury, and energy. However,
00:03:47improvised facilities in behind its enormous global aimed at promoting the
00:03:48worn-out government, disconnected influence and its advanced welfare state, the country
00:03:52us to collaborate on, eh one of today faces very complex structural challenges,
00:03:54such as a public debt that is around
00:03:57119% of GDP and deep
00:04:00tensions in its large metropolises. Internally,
00:04:05have, it is not about French society experiences deep frictions associated with the challenges of
00:04:08integration, migratory pressure in the peripheries,
00:04:12and the deterioration of essential public services.
00:04:16and through This climate of socio-economic tension occurs
00:04:18in parallel with a highly
00:04:20fragmented and high-voltage political scenario, where
00:04:24President Emmanuel Macron's government
00:04:26that you have to do a lab suffers accelerated desgaste after years of unpopular
00:04:29structural reforms. Looking ahead to the 2027
00:04:33presidential elections, the political arena shows clear
00:04:38presence, in polarization and a sustained advance of sovereignist
00:04:40and right-wing blocs, led
00:04:42the market structure would by figures such as Marine Le Pen,
00:04:45France and rescuing consolidating a scenario where governability
00:04:45faces the consequences of one of and the future of the traditional
00:04:48republican model are at the center
00:04:51of the national debate. This complex
00:04:54political, economic, and demographic background serves
00:04:57as a prelude to understanding the recent wave
00:05:00of student and youth protests shaking the
00:05:03country. Originally,
00:05:05La Guaira, the reported the recent protests respond to Vuelta, the arrival had discontent over the deterioration of
00:05:11help them against the drag of the school infrastructure, turns out to be cancer, you will teacher shortages, and the budgetary precariousness in public
00:05:14education. As the days passed, the demonstrations have
00:05:18escalated into high-intensity riots, with blockades and
00:05:22violent clashes with law enforcement forces. Meanwhile, authorities
00:05:25denounce an alleged instrumentalization of the protests by sectors
00:05:29of the radical left to exacerbate
00:05:32social discontent.
00:05:33social.
00:05:38French students continue to mobilize in demand of
00:05:42better conditions for education. On
00:05:45Tuesday, tens of thousands took to the streets in several cities
00:05:49in France, this time accompanied by parents,
00:05:52teachers, and unions. According to the
00:05:55Ministry of Interior, some 256
00:05:58people participated in the protests across the
00:06:01country. Student organizations estimated that there were
00:06:05450,000 demonstrators.
00:06:08The students, mobilized since
00:06:11September 2, denounce the unhealthy
00:06:14state of the buildings, the massive
00:06:17classes, and the lack of teachers who are not
00:06:20replaced, especially in working-class
00:06:23neighborhoods. The protests of recent weeks
00:06:27have been marked by clashes between police and
00:06:30protesters. The left-wing opposition accuses the
00:06:33government of repressing the demonstrations, while the
00:06:36government and right-wing parties point to the radical
00:06:40left-wing party La France Insoumise, accusing it
00:06:43of wanting to sow chaos ahead of the 2027
00:06:47presidential election. Since the beginning of the movement, the
00:06:51government states that some 200 students were
00:06:54injured, as well as 85 members of the teaching
00:06:57staff and more than 700
00:07:00police officers. The Minister of Interior, Laurent Núñez,
00:07:04assured that police interventions are carried out with
00:07:08the utmost proportionality, but several
00:07:10unions and human rights organizations accuse
00:07:14the police of using disproportionate
00:07:16force.
00:07:20the demonstration, some clashes occurred
00:07:23between participants and law enforcement with
00:07:26the throwing of projectiles, tear gas,
00:07:29grenades, and mortar
00:07:32fireworks. The political, economic, and
00:07:36social aspects behind these protests will be part of the analysis that we
00:07:40will provide in this edition of Ampliamente. Of course,
00:07:43we will also include in the analysis the impact these protests
00:07:46will have on the upcoming elections in the country in
00:07:492027. For now, we will take our first break and upon
00:07:53our return, you will have all the analysis.

00:10:39France is burning and once again the streets are being looked at with concern. What
00:10:42started as a protest in the
00:10:46suburbs or on the outskirts with complaints about
00:10:49the school system, the deficiencies of the state regarding
00:10:53the financing of the school system, has become a major
00:10:58the 2027 presidential elections. It is
00:11:01time to analyze the
00:11:04situation in France and we are going to connect with Cristian López,
00:11:08international analyst, house analyst from
00:11:11Mexico City so that he can help us understand Cristian
00:11:15what is happening in France. These protests are not a minor
00:11:18symptom that expose the deficiencies of the French
00:11:22state, the desgaste of Emmanuel Macron's government. And how
00:11:25this is already shaping up for the 2027
00:11:29elections. Welcome, as always,
00:11:33thank you Nastasha, it is a pleasure to be here again in
00:11:35Ampliamente. Thank you for joining us. So,
00:11:39uh, let's start by defining how student
00:11:42protests in the suburbs have
00:11:45evolved, have escalated so quickly and have become a major
00:11:48national crisis. Is the reason solely linked to the
00:11:52deficiencies of the educational system or is there something more
00:11:55behind it? Initially, there is always
00:11:59a trigger, a catalyst for these
00:12:03social phenomena. Let's remember before
00:12:07we get into the topic that France has been protesting for 8
00:12:10years, and although they are interrupted,
00:12:13it is normal for them to be interrupted, but since the
00:12:17yellow vests, France socially does not
00:12:20see prosperity arriving, it does not
00:12:24see subsidies, support
00:12:27arriving, essentially what the French Republic promises
00:12:31it, and that is the great promise of the state
00:12:35and the Republic to its citizens and even to
00:12:38immigrants who arrive. This is body is the universe, it is a
00:12:42ask for more budgets,
00:12:45they ask for more teachers, more
00:12:49doctors, that there be no cuts to student
00:12:52support, that is, that there be no austerity
00:12:55measures in terms of education. This is
00:12:59important because that is the great promise of the
00:13:02Republic to students. you are, people have
00:13:05me that it is very, very easy for a
00:13:08spark to trigger large, large social demonstrations,
00:13:12obviously full of riots.
00:13:15I don't know if a pretext is sought on every
00:13:19opportunity to go out and express certain social
00:13:22dissatisfactions, because that's what demonstrations end
00:13:25up becoming. When someone takes up placards
00:13:29and blocks a lane, the message arrives
00:13:32equally, but when someone burns, destroys,
00:13:36graffitis, loots, etcetera,
00:13:39I believe that deep down, both individually
00:13:43and collectively, these specific people who go to
00:13:46the marches have something deeper to
00:13:49vent. Having said that, it is also true
00:13:52that, uh, the French state has failed in several
00:13:56aspects, that great promise of the welfare
00:14:00state in general in Europe, but very
00:14:03accentuated in France, that France always wants to say
00:14:06that it is at the forefront of the welfare
00:14:09state, uh, it is true that it has failed, I
00:14:13repeat, for 8 years, since the yellow vests,
00:14:16people who perhaps had never protested, but they can
00:14:19be unionists, they can be peasants,
00:14:23people from agriculture, people from industry,
00:14:26in this case students, teachers,
00:14:29uh, even
00:14:32civil servants joined
00:14:36in, uh, asking that there not be a salary
00:14:40cut or a salary
00:14:43freeze. So
00:14:46it's a breeding ground
00:14:49that is slowly generating
00:14:52in this France, which is governed in a
00:14:56somewhat dystopian way,
00:15:00because these same days that your capital is literally
00:15:04burning, the president decides to witness the
00:15:08launch of a missile, a ballistic missile,
00:15:11obviously only a test, but it gives
00:15:15you a perfect x-ray of how
00:15:18the French state acts, and in this case, the
00:15:21president,
00:15:23because he has always acted that way. While
00:15:27locally he has all the problems imaginable,
00:15:30his strategy is to try to
00:15:34cover them up or try to mask the
00:15:37local problems with external
00:15:41issues, always in conflict, whether with Donald
00:15:44Trump or with Putin, but always seeking
00:15:48external conflict, so that the great problem that
00:15:51France and many European countries have is not
00:15:54discussed. It must be said, some are with first-generation migrants,
00:15:58but also with the children of second and third-generation
00:16:02migrants, who specifically are these
00:16:04students and are the ones who are mostly protesting.
00:16:08Obviously, there are French people of many generations who
00:16:12join the young people who share that idea
00:16:15of why they are protesting, but, uh, it must be said,
00:16:19these are, uh, the origin of the
00:16:23ethnic background of the people who protest are
00:16:26people, uh, migrants, either first, second, or third
00:16:29generation. Now, we don't have to go into
00:16:33qualifying whether the proposal is fair or not fair because
00:16:36it can be induced. Induced, since we don't know for sure
00:16:39that, I think it's irresponsible that we are
00:16:42categorizing that it is induced by someone who has dark
00:16:46interests in the background, that students don't know what
00:16:49they're asking for, or on the other hand, accepting that the state has
00:16:53failed, accepting that what they are protesting
00:16:57is legitimate, even if the methods I am sure that
00:16:59almost no one shares those methods of protesting, and yet
00:17:03there is the big question
00:17:06for... the echoes of the program for the purpose of the
00:17:10geopolitical study of international relations would be: is it an isolated
00:17:14event or what does it have to do with Ceuta,
00:17:18for example, in Spain? Is it an isolated event or what does it have to
00:17:21do with the advance of the AfD in Saxony
00:17:25in Germany? I believe that everything is
00:17:27part of a systemic
00:17:30decomposition of the Europe that governed
00:17:33practically the entire first quarter of the
00:17:3821st century until now. I believe its
00:17:41desgaste curve has already arrived, I believe it is in
00:17:45a clear decline, and I believe that all these
00:17:48changes normally occur when there are these great
00:17:51transitions and shifts in politics towards another
00:17:54political spectrum. So,
00:17:58it's no coincidence that there are already elections called
00:18:01in Spain, although what happened in Ceuta was a bit earlier,
00:18:04it is now using this. Mrs. Mary Carmen, whether
00:18:07she was right or not about the eviction, she
00:18:10finally died, and politicians incredibly,
00:18:14all have a version of the same event,
00:18:18eh, with these protests in
00:18:21Paris, all the politicians, from the radical
00:18:24left to Marine Le Pen, all have their
00:18:27own version of these events and their causes. I'll give
00:18:31an example that I took note of here, the mayor of
00:18:34Saint-Denis, who is of African origin, who is
00:18:37Muslim, uh, he is mayor for the
00:18:41Insoumise party and said that
00:18:44violence, violence
00:18:47can be legitimate,
00:18:50then he said, I hope it is not used, but if there
00:18:53is violence from the students, pay attention, from the
00:18:57protesters, because he was at the front with them, he said
00:19:01violence can be legitimate, in fact there is a video that was very
00:19:04striking, protecting them in front of the
00:19:07demonstrators, protecting the demonstrators from police
00:19:11action. This is also striking because France Insoumise has been accused
00:19:14of precisely instrumentalizing the protest,
00:19:18but what you are telling us is very important, Cristian, because we have to evaluate
00:19:21France in the context, not only domestic, but also
00:19:24regional, because what is happening in France, of course, has also
00:19:28been repeated in other countries of the European Union. But we are going to take a small
00:19:32break to, uh, upon our return, address this topic and also the statements of
00:19:36President Donald Trump who... has already put on the table the narrative that
00:19:40the protests have to do with uncontrolled immigration
00:19:44that has occurred in Europe, something in which President
00:19:47Donald Trump has been very incisive since he
00:19:50returned to the White House with respect to Europe's management
00:19:54of the migratory issue and in France, specifically, the issue of
00:19:58ghettoization and
00:20:01the failure of the French assimilation model
00:20:05in this case, which of course also has to do with the situation in
00:20:09France. We are going to take a break in this analysis that Cristian López,
00:20:12international analyst, house analyst, is providing us, and
00:20:15upon our return you will have more of this conversation.
00:20:41Health goes beyond urgency, it
00:20:44is built with evidence, with questions that others avoid, very

00:23:40connect the dots for you to understand your
00:23:43country.
00:24:15Understanding the French chessboard also means understanding its economic
00:24:19situation, a country indebted, with a fiscal
00:24:22deficit. On the other hand, the fragmentation of the
00:24:25parliament makes it very difficult for France to achieve
00:24:29alliances so that the government can carry
00:24:32out all its proposals, in the case of
00:24:35Emmanuel Macron's government, a
00:24:38from the demands and requests of the people. Cristian López, international
00:24:42analyst, house analyst in the previous segment, already commented
00:24:45on this, but we also left on the table a
00:24:50very important aspect, which is the migratory
00:24:54issue, a social issue in France that has also been repeated
00:24:58in other European Union countries. They are similar
00:25:01crises, when one analyzes Europe, one sees that the same thing happens in Germany, the same thing
00:25:05happens in Spain, now in France, but this situation of
00:25:08immigration in France has been an issue for years that
00:25:12the French state seems to be unable to manage successfully,
00:25:16Cristian. This is important to understand because beyond
00:25:19relating it to the protests that US President Donald Trump has
00:25:23already done, it is important to understand the situation of migrants in
00:25:25France, the ghettoization of how many of these migrants
00:25:29have not been able to integrate into French society. The issue of Islam is very
00:25:33important to also understand the crisis that the country is going through, which is a
00:25:36crisis that is also reflected throughout the European
00:25:39Union and it seems to be a systemic crisis throughout
00:25:42the Union. Yes, we need to give two facts just to
00:25:46dimension what is happening in France: more than 400
00:25:50colleges or institutes blocked by students,
00:25:53that is, there is a coordinated
00:25:56action, that must be said,
00:25:59because it was practically the same day at the same time and
00:26:03the students agreed, and there have been more than
00:26:06500 or 600 arrests, so
00:26:09socially this is chaos, you can't have almost 500
00:26:12colleges, more than 600
00:26:14arrests, uh, this is a crisis
00:26:18for Paris and for the other cities that are participating.
00:26:22You opportunely mentioned the management of these
00:26:26crises, the previous crises in which, by the way, Barnier
00:26:29fell, Bayrou fell, the former
00:26:32presidents of France, practically
00:26:36all these protests are extinguished with money,
00:26:39they authorize the demands, they authorize
00:26:43budgets for those demands and with pure money
00:26:46they have been buying social peace in France, but what is
00:26:50the big problem? That France has 119%
00:26:54of its GDP committed to debt and it keeps
00:26:57growing. It has a society that is also aging, as
00:27:01you accurately commented, the recently
00:27:04arrived migrants, especially of Arab
00:27:07origin, of African ethnicities and of the
00:27:11Muslim religion, are unable to integrate, they slowly
00:27:15impose their lifestyle, their customs, and their
00:27:17beliefs, something
00:27:20very delicate, and I always give the example of the two types of
00:27:24emigration, that of America,
00:27:27uh, I say it openly, if I
00:27:30were to emigrate to Venezuela, even to
00:27:34Brazil, Argentina, Colombia,
00:27:36Peru, not only do I already have a friend, a
00:27:39brother, eh, dear, this is in some of his
00:27:42countries, and they welcome you, and you integrate,
00:27:47the same culture, you speak the same language, you have the
00:27:51same religion, customs, eh,
00:27:53practically everyone loves Mexican music, etc., the
00:27:56integration is easier, but here there is a strong
00:28:00clash between
00:28:02Islam and the Arab world, the whole world of North Africa
00:28:06which is the Sahel, with all the countries of Europe,
00:28:10specifically Spain, France, Italy,
00:28:13Germany, although Germany receives more from Turkey,
00:28:16but France and Spain are very specific cases, so we are
00:28:20in this war of narratives, in this war of ideologies, but
00:28:23it is definitely a global migratory
00:28:27phenomenon, it must be understood as
00:28:30such, because the solution if there are government
00:28:33changes, they will leave unmanageable
00:28:36countries to Marine Le Pen, to the Popular
00:28:40Party or Vox in Spain, whoever reaches the FDA of
00:28:43Germany, I think they will leave unmanageable
00:28:46countries, because the social fuse of these
00:28:49groups that are radicalizing has already been lit,
00:28:53certainly what you say is very important Cristian, because Europe is now entering
00:28:57an electoral cycle, there are elections in France in
00:29:002027.
00:29:02The elections in Spain were brought forward, Germany is also
00:29:06going down that path and it is the social issue, the migratory
00:29:09issue is only a symptom of major
00:29:13structural issues that not only France but also Europe
00:29:17in general must resolve, I want to thank you for this
00:29:20complete analysis as always, for giving us so much
00:29:24clarity and for helping the audience understand what is
00:29:27happening in France, which in the end is replicated in many
00:29:30other countries because in this world.
00:29:33Globalized, all countries practically experience
00:29:36crises. Thank you very much, as always, Cristian.
00:29:40It is always a pleasure and an honor to be widely, greetings. The same for us to
00:29:44listen to you. There you had the analysis, friends, of Cristian
00:29:48López, international analyst, he
00:29:50connected with us from Mexico City, analyzing
00:29:54the variables and the details of what is
00:29:57behind these protests in France that began around
00:30:01mid-September, because approximately in the peripheries that have
00:30:04moved to the center of Paris with violent
00:30:07clashes between protesters and the police, protests that
00:30:11demand improvements in the French educational system, but that also have
00:30:14other economic, political and social elements
00:30:18behind them that will surely influence the
00:30:202027 elections, in the spring of 2027,
00:30:24the French will elect a president, until now this
00:30:28is the analysis we can offer you, of course
00:30:31we invite you to go to our YouTube channel to review previous analyses
00:30:35and also to communicate with us through our Instagram
00:30:38account, broadly gb, there, as I always tell you, we are
00:30:42very pleased to read you, it has been a pleasure as
00:30:46always, happy afternoon to all.
00:31:50Good afternoon, always in the international field we talk about international
00:31:53organizations permanently and international organizations,
00:31:56especially the most important ones such as the World Trade Organization, the
00:32:00International Labor Organization, but there are international organizations
00:32:04that are organizations that are in the security council, in the
00:32:07ECOSOC, precisely José Alfredo Ramírez, is ambassador for diplomatic
00:32:11affairs and in the case of energy.
00:32:15projects with this organization which is
00:32:18UNASG, which is an organization for sustainable
00:32:21development within the framework of the United Nations goals
00:32:24for sustainable development. What does the
00:32:28organization do? We are cooperating with all countries in the world
00:32:32to carry out very specific
00:32:34projects within the 17 sustainable
00:32:38development goals from education, health,
00:32:42housing, renewable energy and the
00:32:45empowerment of women and social organizations, so you
00:32:48are also part of the United Nations system with ECOSOC,
00:32:52we are working in a coordinated way with Unitar,
00:32:56with UNICEF, with the organizations, but we are not part of the UN,
00:32:59we are an intergovernmental organization created
00:33:03by 45 countries, and we are working
00:33:07on
00:33:09and we carry out projects
00:33:13jointly with the governments, participate in the Economic
00:33:16and Social Council of the United Nations, we are working with them, yes, and in the case
00:33:20of Latin America, what activities are you
00:33:23the government of Brazil for the Amazon
00:33:27project and with the indigenous peoples throughout Latin America,
00:33:31at this moment a meeting of all the indigenous
00:33:33peoples of the Americas
00:33:37from Argentina to Canada is being called, on October
00:33:4015th an international meeting of
00:33:44indigenous peoples will be held in Mexico, Mexico has given a lot of
00:33:47importance to the issue of indigenous peoples, first because it still
00:33:50has a large population of indigenous peoples, secondly because it has
00:33:54specialized institutions and willing to collaborate with all of Latin America,
00:33:58right? That's right, that's
00:34:01right, eh, in Mexico, projects are being carried out
00:34:04for the recognition of human rights, social
00:34:07rights, access to basic
00:34:12UNASG focuses on, basic infrastructure,
00:34:15education, health, housing and the financing of productive
00:34:19projects, in addition we are linked to everything related to alternative
00:34:23energies, that's right, eh, one of
00:34:26the objectives that UNASG is pursuing is to
00:34:29bring eh
00:34:32technologies eh of alternative
00:34:36energies like hydrogen, hydrogen
00:34:40and eh also eh
00:34:43construction systems of... totally green which is
00:34:47graphene that allows us to reduce the cost
00:34:50and environmental impact, because you know
00:34:53that producing a ton of
00:34:57cement carries a
00:35:00great eh harmful effect to the environment, right? And now with artificial
00:35:03intelligence and all the electricity systems that
00:35:06are needed, all these alternative energies are
00:35:08fundamental, in terms of education
00:35:12we are working so that
00:35:15the effect of education is seen in a
00:35:18transversal way, how it affects the environment, how it affects
00:35:22employment, in the future, artificial
00:35:25intelligence and the effect it will have on jobs in
00:35:29the future, the relationship with the embassy with the
00:35:31diplomats, being an intergovernmental organization also has to
00:35:35have that support and backing, right? We are working
00:35:39with the governments, strictly with the governments, but
00:35:42eh what we ask is that they provide us with
00:35:45the list of projects, in the
00:35:49case of Venezuela we are also doing it, due to the
00:35:52earthquake, we are eh participating in
00:35:56housing reconstruction projects here in Venezuela,
00:35:59and regarding the aboriginal populations or our indigenous
00:36:03people, eh censuses have been carried out in each country of Latin America, yes, in
00:36:07Mexico a very specific census is being carried out
00:36:11to recognize the 69 ethnic groups
00:36:14and to carry out
00:36:17respect, respect for their languages, for their
00:36:21forms of social organization and how they
00:36:24govern themselves in self-government, we have seen...
00:36:27projects to precisely safeguard all indigenous
00:36:31languages and also religious
00:36:33customs, ways of life, environmental protection
00:36:37above all, exactly, the effect, the effect
00:36:41for the indigenous peoples, in the case of
00:36:44mining is one of the technologies that we are
00:36:48addressing in a very specific way to avoid
00:36:51environmental damage with a new type
00:36:55of sustainable mining. In the case of Brazil, which has an immense
00:36:59territory and many indigenous communities, what have they done? We are
00:37:02working precisely with establishing a
00:37:06bank, a bank for the indigenous peoples
00:37:10and through that bank projects will be financed for the indigenous
00:37:14peoples, not only in Brazil but in
00:37:17all the countries of Latin America. Now there are
00:37:21governments that have been very concerned about indigenous or
00:37:24aboriginal issues, but there is also a kind of abandonment by many
00:37:27international institutions, I know that the United Nations is even trying to create
00:37:31an international convention for the protection of indigenous minorities that
00:37:35exist all over the world, including in highly developed countries, like Canada, you
00:37:38said, we find indigenous peoples in the United States, that's
00:37:42right, as of December of
00:37:45last year a council for indigenous
00:37:48peoples was established and UNASG is
00:37:51addressing in a very specific way the
00:37:55possibility of carrying out projects
00:37:58that address the needs of housing,
00:38:01education, and
00:38:04communication, rural roads, everything that is
00:38:08required in the most isolated indigenous
00:38:11populations, let's go to a break for commercial commitments and
00:38:15we continue talking with you about all this Latin American problem and especially
00:38:19the indigenous part, we are talking with José Alfredo
00:38:22Ramírez, who is ambassador for diplomatic affairs and also
00:38:25consulted. of this whole series of projects in
00:38:29relation to the development of indigenous peoples, we will be back.
00:38:54learn about innovative ecological
00:38:57projects and the lifestyle that is transforming
00:39:00communities,
00:39:03immerse yourself in a space where nature and
00:39:06modernity converge to shape a more
00:39:10sustainable and conscious future,
00:39:13a content that will take you to the heart of green and sustainable
00:39:17condominiums,
00:39:19presented by Jubnexa Rojas, condominium
00:39:23world every Saturday at 11 AM on:

00:39:36is built with evidence, with questions that others
00:39:39avoid.
00:39:43Years ago we understood that medical information should not
00:39:46frighten, it should protect. We compare

00:40:23the order of each note, the calm before the sign.
00:40:28and the value that each word must
00:40:32filling a screen, but inhabiting your
00:40:36reality, because informing is not just saying what
00:40:40is happening, but going beyond that
00:40:43reality,

00:41:12filters, with the talent that represents us,
00:41:15all these voices, all these sources,
00:41:18united by a single passion, the
00:41:21news,
00:41:24after 31 years of dedication, today.
00:41:27we commit ourselves with more strength than
00:41:30ever, because our greatest
00:41:33specialization is to keep you well
00:41:37informed.
00:43:22One of the most important issues of assistance, as Dr. Alfredo Ramírez of the
00:43:28organizations like his, which is UNASAC, is precisely
00:43:31attention in case of natural disasters
00:43:34technological disasters, we talked precisely
00:43:37about. and the drama of the
00:43:41floods and what precisely happened, he knows very well the
00:43:44Asian world, where there are also many primitive indigenous
00:43:47peoples, that situation that can
00:43:50arise in indigenous peoples, we must
00:43:54technological catastrophes,
00:43:57we are financing sustainable
00:44:00mining projects with indigenous peoples
00:44:04on some islands in Indonesia, I reside in
00:44:07Indonesia the main
00:44:10funders for the productive
00:44:13projects are the royal families of Indonesia, eh, in the
00:44:17case of the Americas we are
00:44:21very interested in financing sustainable mining
00:44:23projects to promote eh
00:44:27that people have a great
00:44:30benefit from their natural resources and that their
00:44:34habitat is not damaged, how to
00:44:37preserve in the case of the origins of indigenous
00:44:41people these projects and these initiatives without
00:44:44politics soiling them, that politicking
00:44:47many times that wants to instrumentalize indigenous people in terms of
00:44:50sometimes messianic projects, how to make indigenous people
00:44:53aware not only with the vote but with presence in
00:44:57democracy and in economic activity as you are
00:45:00mentioning, intergovernmental
00:45:04organizations or NGOs, non-governmental
00:45:07organizations eh is to
00:45:10reach the community
00:45:13level, support them with
00:45:16educational projects that
00:45:19respect their language, their culture
00:45:22and improve their habitat, how do you work in the case of Mexico which
00:45:26is so interesting because there are so many 60 you
00:45:29said, how do you manage to have that bond with them and
00:45:32above all that despite the modern, the new, they maintain
00:45:36those traditions that are even in all areas of medicine, health.
00:45:40even religious, cosmogonic, in Mexico we are
00:45:43working very closely with the national indigenous
00:45:46government and this organization
00:45:50is the one that has the links with each of the ethnic groups
00:45:56the government we are doing the development
00:45:59projects, I saw a photo there of a meeting of you with the
00:46:02president of Mexico, that's right,
00:46:05we have proposed the financing of
00:46:08community level projects, she
00:46:12has received them with great interest, I imagine that the Venezuelan
00:46:16chancellery and the Venezuelan authorities may have interest apart from private individuals
00:46:20in projects in function of our indigenous people,
00:46:24we are establishing talks with the chancellery in
00:46:27Venezuela for the formalization of cooperation
00:46:30agreements at housing level,
00:46:34housing reconstruction eh, financing of large UNASG
00:46:38infrastructure projects
00:46:40here in Venezuela and regarding the work of international
00:46:44organizations apart from yours as an intergovernmental organization,
00:46:47eh, I imagine that UNESCO and organizations like the ILO that have
00:46:51to do with the development of populations without discrimination can also
00:46:55have a link with these organizations in relation to indigenous peoples,
00:46:58that's right, eh, the great difference between UNASAC and other
00:47:02intergovernmental organizations is that
00:47:05we have our own alternative financing
00:47:09sources and we can eh
00:47:13finance projects with much more speed than
00:47:16that of multilateral organizations that sometimes take
00:47:19two or three years to carry out a project. from its
00:47:22inception to its financing, environmental
00:47:25ecological issue that is often taken care of by the
00:47:29simple search for money in the projects that are available eh, what guarantee
00:47:33is there that these projects will remain within that framework of what you
00:47:36called the development
00:47:38goals,
00:47:41the objective is that when the projects are carried
00:47:44out, trusts are created and these
00:47:47trusts do not require the
00:47:50repayment of what is invested
00:47:54because it is donated to the ethnic groups,
00:47:57but it does require transparency in the management of
00:48:01resources, in the case of Venezuela 17
00:48:04trusts will be established, one for
00:48:07each of the 17 sustainable development
00:48:11goals, in other countries, health, what are the
00:48:14main ones, housing, health, education, renewable
00:48:17energy, the empowerment of women and the
00:48:21empowerment of indigenous peoples, in addition that fits
00:48:24perfectly with the commitments that governments have acquired by signing all
00:48:28the United Nations documents and even the
00:48:32Paris Agreement of 2015 on environmental issues that is so
00:48:35important, especially in the oil industry where they are now being demanded
00:48:39not only to extract oil but how to extract it and how to
00:48:42protect the environment and the environmental demands that may exist
00:48:46in those oil fields, that's right, in Mexico the
00:48:50stability fund of the oil association
00:48:54was established and precisely one of the beneficiaries
00:48:58was to support the development of indigenous
00:49:01peoples. What structure does Mexico have for the defense of these
00:49:04projects and for the supervision of government-level projects, you tell me
00:49:08that there is a kind of national indigenous council,
00:49:11that national indigenous government is the
00:49:14organization that groups all indigenous peoples
00:49:18in Mexico, it is with whom we are working in Bolivia, what have they done in
00:49:21this matter? We are working with some social
00:49:24organizations, especially in terms of financing
00:49:28fuels, due to the shortage that
00:49:31exists in Bolivia of diesel and
00:49:34gasoline, there are queues, I was there a few
00:49:38weeks ago and there are queues of up to
00:49:4118, 24 hours to buy gasoline or diesel
00:49:45and 90% of the transport fleet is
00:49:47stopped because there is no supply of diesel Dr.
00:49:51Ramírez, let's go to the break again commercial
00:49:54commitments and we continue talking in the last part to also concretize
00:49:57some projects that can be done in Venezuela, we'll be
00:50:00right back. Good morning to all our
00:50:22dear audience, here you not only get informed,
00:50:26you get inspired, you have fun and

00:51:06only about knowing what happened today, but about
00:51:09understanding why it happened with data, with
00:51:12context and with memory, because everything has a
00:51:15background that must be examined. Intelligent
00:51:19analysis, necessary interviews.

00:52:58spectacular gala was held in Bangkok,
00:53:01Thailand, where Alejandro managed to position
00:53:05himself as the fourth finalist in the world, becoming the
00:53:08only Latino to enter the top 5,
00:53:12in addition to being the last male representative
00:53:15to leave our country proud in international
00:53:18beauty. Congratulations.
00:53:47In this last part of the program that has to do precisely with the
00:53:51concretization, the realization of programs and projects in terms of
00:53:55assistance, there are two types, I understand José
00:53:58Alfredo Ramírez, who is ambassador for diplomatic and
00:54:02humanitarian affairs in this area. one is the
00:54:06absolutely indigenous origin part that has special projections, but another is
00:54:10to finance emergency projects, which is what is happening
00:54:13with the situation in La Guaira where all
00:54:16the eh benefactors and foreign companies are being called
00:54:20to collaborate with humanitarian spirit in the construction of housing, what are they doing in
00:54:24that housing matter? we are working on a construction
00:54:27project in a very rapid way of
00:54:3133,000 homes
00:54:33eh and it is moving forward with government
00:54:37institutions to finalize because the
00:54:40permits and licenses are already in place, we just need to
00:54:43update eh all the studies,
00:54:47bring them up to date regarding the soil study to
00:54:51be able to start with great speed. They have had
00:54:54examples of these realizations in other countries, in
00:54:58Indonesia and in Vietnam, emergency housing
00:55:01projects have been carried out precisely with graphene
00:55:05technology that allows us
00:55:08to self-produce in Venezuela all the
00:55:12materials and significantly reduce costs and especially
00:55:15to organize self-construction projects and generate
00:55:18employment at the community
00:55:22level. When would these projects start in Venezuela? We are
00:55:25eh contemplating that in the next 90 days
00:55:28it will start, with the Venezuelan Foreign Ministry
00:55:32we are already in talks to begin.
00:55:35to have that
00:55:37institutional cooperation and in countries like the Dominican Republic that are so
00:55:41close to us, what have they done so far? Eh well in
00:55:45the Dominican Republic there are many projects precisely
00:55:48with the border problems they have with
00:55:51Haiti, there are several projects that they have invited
00:55:57the organizations we are working very
00:56:00closely with is Funvive, directed by
00:56:03our dear friend Dr. Manuel Díaz, and he has also just
00:56:06been there in the Dominican Republic seeing
00:56:09the projects and the border programs. We have
00:56:13interviewed the director of Funvive here, in that
00:56:16organization, which is fundamentally ecological but also for
00:56:19financing projects, not just staying with complaints but
00:56:23with very concrete realizations. So we have for
00:56:26the final part, first this type of projects that international organizations
00:56:30or international bodies or international companies
00:56:33can finance, eh with government assistance, as is your case
00:56:37in the case of La Guaira, but above all there are also for the
00:56:40aboriginal populations that need it so much, because many times they are forgotten by governments
00:56:44even, yes, we want to carry
00:56:47out very important projects, especially
00:56:50in promoting the
00:56:53export of products that
00:56:56are generated within aboriginal populations that
00:56:59also contribute to economic development, here the case of for example
00:57:02the part of Bolívar in the... part of Guitaguayana, our
00:57:06all that, there is a whole series of populations that are even fundamental for
00:57:10tourism in future development programs, ecotourism
00:57:13is very important, creating the
00:57:16local infrastructure of
00:57:19having eh small hotels
00:57:22that are self-sustaining, that do not harm
00:57:25the environment and that their footprint is as
00:57:28minimal as possible, in that the Dominican Republic, which has great experience in tourism, can
00:57:51al empleo local,
00:57:53now so that they know a little more about your
00:57:57Well, I have worked in the Mexican
00:58:04an advisor to several presidents of
00:58:19the the third world and the
00:58:23president of Mexico, I know that she
00:58:45career she
00:58:48indigenous populations and she has great affection and respect for them. I think she was
00:58:52ministro de de ambiente en México ambiente, sí, y en cuanto al
00:58:56it, eh, when will it be, how will

00:59:27the invitation

00:59:47Well, thank you very much for this pleasant

00:59:56because we have known you for a long time,

01:01:37write to us @argumentosgb and my account @soremming, this
01:01:41October the pink month is commemorated
01:01:43worldwide, that world day. the fight
01:01:50important to review world figures, but also the figures we have
01:01:53here in Venezuela and according
01:01:57World Health Organization, every October 19th is World
01:02:00it doesn't
01:02:03just stay on that day but throughout the
01:02:06month which is called the pink month but it
01:02:10October but the 365 days of the year
01:02:13seguir con todas las campañas y de alguna
01:02:16this can
01:03:55presento pues mi invitada a Luisa Rodríguez
01:03:58Táriba, the president and founder
01:07:30themselves, they take care of their mother, if
01:07:34but we don't take care of ourselves and that's why it's so
01:07:38these to make that call for
01:07:42idea that lives behind your eyes and say, what am I doing for myself and understand that
01:07:46because you think of yourself, it doesn't mean you're
01:07:50taking care of those you love because one of the things that no one wants to get old and
01:07:54those of us who are in that process
01:08:04many many years before
01:08:08years old, that starts even from adolescence if we were
01:08:11aware. it starts by taking care of ourselves, making
01:08:15our timely diagnoses, our eh our treatment,
01:08:19but above all the fact of having the best possible lifestyle, yes of course
01:08:22and I think that is one of the
01:08:25habits, perhaps tools that
01:08:29it's good to start the interview there because when eh people
01:08:33look, oh, among the diagnoses and you say, what can I really
01:08:37do
01:08:39eh it's like well, I can start with
01:08:43like I can start with a process
01:08:46other factors that influence, like genetic
01:08:53you know there's nothing you can do
01:08:56no, but however there's always
01:09:07have a genetic mutation, no, and
01:09:10breast cancers are not related
01:09:34but having a genetic
01:09:38many people, then at this
01:09:42program, and other information on social
01:09:49genetic mutation all their lives and never
01:09:56a mutation, the mutation serves you to know that you have a mutation, it serves
01:10:00sirve para tomar correctivos tempranos no saber
01:10:03que eh cómo manejar este cuerpo de
01:10:06like, I always make the comparison like
01:10:10vehicles and synchronous
01:10:35estar viva no, y y esas células
01:11:02producing an anarchic
01:11:12busy with many
01:11:21functioning of our
01:11:24those very intelligent cells miss it,
01:11:46eso siempre nuestro nuestro nuestro programa y

01:17:16We continue on Argumentos talking with Luisa
01:17:20about, well, about what this
01:17:55And although now there is also
01:17:58well, those factors still exist.
01:18:02where the wake-up call to
01:18:04take care of ourselves this month what would you say is
01:18:08important for women to continue considering in that matter of taking care of themselves, of
01:18:12mixing, well, not only the physical, it's also the
01:18:15psychological, cognitive part, yes, well, I would emphasize
01:18:18the fact of going to the doctor on time,
01:18:22you know, we always have a culture of curative
01:18:26health, that is to say I
01:18:29go, I have a headache, a migraine, a
01:18:32migraine and when the migraine doesn't obscure
01:18:35my vision, that's when I decide: to go to a doctor and suddenly it's something
01:18:39very silly like high cholesterol or a
01:18:42cervical problem that is bothering you and it turns out that you end up
01:18:46with a complicated picture because you didn't go to the doctor on time, so in
01:18:49the case of the timely diagnosis of breast cancer it is precisely
01:18:53that, we cannot prevent developing breast cancer, the only
01:18:56way to prevent cancer is cervical cancer and that is by
01:19:00vaccinating people with the HPV vaccine, you cannot
01:19:03avoid cancer, why? Because I explained that it is our own cell that mutates. And it
01:19:07depends on whether our immune system destroys it or
01:19:11not. If it doesn't destroy it, you have to continue doing that
01:19:15monitoring, and the way to do it is, right now
01:19:18it's October and everyone is going to talk about self-examination, breast
01:19:22self-examination, of touching yourself, well, I'm going to tell you about the
01:19:26experience we have at Funcamamas, the experience we have at
01:19:29Funcamama is that breast self-examination is a tool for women to
01:19:33know their breast tissue and they should start doing this self-examination
01:19:36from the moment they start having developed
01:19:40mammary glands, that is, they finish, they start to
01:19:43develop when the first menstruation comes, right?
01:19:46So at that moment you should know your breast tissue,
01:19:50but given the common factors in Venezuela and
01:19:53over the years, our
01:19:57recommendation is that at 18 years old women, just as
01:20:01we should start going to the gynecologist the moment we
01:20:04have active sexual life, right? We must go to the doctor.
01:20:07The mastologist, who is the medical specialist in the care of the
01:20:11mammary gland, not the gynecologist, not the
01:20:13internist, not my godfather who is a
01:20:16radiologist, it is the mastologist, a specialist in
01:20:20mammary gland, that mastologist will do a
01:20:23mastological risk assessment, that mastological
01:20:27risk assessment goes through whether it has already developed or not,
01:20:30family history of cancer, very
01:20:33important weight, what weight it has, hours of sleep.
01:20:37Uh, nutrition topics, so there are a lot of
01:20:41very important variables that you won't find on social media,
01:20:45on TikTok, or anything like that, you have to go to the doctor, so the mastologist
01:20:48will probably
01:20:50order a breast ultrasound, a breast ultrasound that
01:20:54has to be done with equipment that has a special transducer for the
01:20:58mammary gland and that it is also performed by
01:21:01a radiologist mastologist, not a technician,
01:21:04not an ultrasonographer, but a radiologist mastologist.
01:21:08With that criteria, in that convergence, they will tell you,
01:21:11"Look, you have very dense breasts, you have adipose
01:21:14tissue," and you will start to have your breast
01:21:18gland identity card and you will go to the mastologist according to what
01:21:22the doctor indicates. Now, when you are 30 years old, and if you have,
01:21:25like me, a family history of cancer on the maternal
01:21:29side, I didn't know this when I was 30
01:21:33years old, but I should have started having mammograms at 30. So if you have
01:21:36a family history of cancer on the maternal side, you should start getting
01:21:40your mammogram at 30 years old, accompanied by your
01:21:44breast ultrasound and evaluation with the mastologist. If there is no cancer in your
01:21:47family, at 35 years old, just as I used to say
01:21:51when I talked about this, I always said, "When you are thinking about putting that
01:21:55substance on that stretches your face," now people put that substance on from their early 20s,
01:21:58this uh, you have to think,
01:22:01yes, you have to think about getting a mammogram,
01:22:04an ultrasound and a medical evaluation with a mastologist,
01:22:08why? Because you are
01:22:11investing in the quality of life and the future of your
01:22:14family, because every time you do that study and it tells you:
01:22:18look, you have nothing, come back next year, many people
01:22:21say oh, but they told me I spent a day here doing my exams for them to tell me I had
01:22:25nothing, no, thank God they told you you had nothing to do, but you
01:22:28need that routine, that routine that we have lost in Venezuela,
01:22:33test at least once a year to see how your hemoglobin is.
01:22:38How's your
01:23:06you feel something in your mammary gland,
01:23:10it has been developing in your mammary gland for at least 2
01:23:13years. That means that if it
01:23:17receive chemotherapy, radiotherapy, surgery,
01:23:20hormonal treatment for 5 years, and this is what we don't want.
01:23:24We want and have been working for 24 years for you to
01:23:27arrive at less than 0.5 mm. If you
01:23:30arrive at less than 0.5 mm, well, more than
01:23:3390% of the probabilities are that you won't even have to go to
01:23:37the operating room, you know, it's simply removed, the puncture is done, even
01:23:40normally when the puncture is done, it's sometimes so small that it comes out with the
01:23:44biopsy with the biopsy sample, a pill
01:23:47for a year and the story ended. She didn't have to have a mastectomy,
01:23:51she didn't lose her hair, she didn't think about who she was going to leave the children with,
01:23:54she didn't think, so in the end it's a matter of decision and
01:23:58priorities, right? That's why at the beginning I was saying to take care of yourself, you
01:24:02want to take care of your people, you want to, well, try to take care of your health,
01:24:05you weren't on time, you couldn't
01:24:09access the timely diagnosis, you didn't
01:24:13get delayed, it's not bad to think that I
01:24:16made a mistake and that I did it wrong and it was my responsibility,
01:24:23cancer treated on time, is curable and we
01:24:27have hundreds of stories about wonderful friends who even
01:24:30have a better quality of life than us because they learned to change their lifestyle,
01:24:34they took it as a dogma and today they continue to be
01:24:38productive women, there's another thing in October that sometimes we forget
01:24:41is that the pink campaign always talks about timely diagnosis, but
01:24:45we don't talk about our friends who are in treatment.
01:24:49Uh, who feel they are invisible in this in this space, these are
01:24:53different spaces, from Funcamama we have a support group for people
01:24:56with breast cancer, we have
01:25:00psycho-oncological consultations, we have the caregiver's
01:25:03club which is very important because we train caregivers, those
01:25:06anonymous heroes that nobody talks about and nobody even asks them if they had
01:25:10coffee, if they could shower or anything like that, because everyone is focused on
01:25:14the care of the person who is undergoing treatment and
01:25:16then, of course, there is
01:25:20to accompany our friends who live with
01:25:23metastasis, because that's another thing, people also
01:25:27still believe that if you have metastasis your life
01:25:31is over, first the first fear is that I don't want to go to the doctor because if
01:25:35they tell me I have cancer I'm going to die, then well they diagnosed me with cancer so
01:25:39now I'm going to go through all this and surely I'm going to die and then well I have metastasis
01:25:42so I'm going to die so the fear of death is what we have to
01:25:46transform, right? Uh, we have to transform that in the end
01:25:49all of us will at some point cease to exist on this planet, the issue
01:25:53is how we are going to do it, right? So, furthermore, cancer gives you
01:25:57many opportunities to organize yourself,
01:25:59you walk down the street and you have a heart attack and you don't have
01:26:03time to organize yourself or to tell the people you love how much you
01:26:07love them, it has its positive sides and also
01:26:10there is something fundamental which is that the family unites and we see families
01:26:14who never spoke to each other, well, we have a chemotherapy unit at
01:26:18Funcamama and one of the things that not every week we are surprised by is the number of
01:26:22people who come from abroad on the last day when the person is going to ring the
01:26:26bell because they are finishing treatment to celebrate that, right? So they are
01:26:29reasons for reunion, for joy, for
01:26:32development, for thinking about rethinking life. So our
01:26:36friends who live with metastasis, metastasis is a chronic health
01:26:40condition if it is treated, if it is well treated, if
01:26:44the person had previous care and it does not have
01:26:47to be synonymous with suffering, death
01:26:51and a lot of pain, yes, of course, it's part of a whole
01:26:55process, both the previous, the during, also those who are in
01:26:59that stage and it's very interesting, right? That for example from
01:27:02Funcamama they work in each area because it's really necessary, those
01:27:06institutions that can help, that can approach it from the
01:27:09medical side, from also that psycho-emotional support
01:27:13that is also very important and we are going to a
01:27:16break, but then I also want us to bring this to the Venezuelan reality.
01:27:20Really in the Venezuelan reality what do the statistics tell us? Does
01:27:23the Venezuelan woman go for her annual check-up? Is the
01:27:26diagnosis really early or is it really late as the statistics
01:27:30tell us? And how to also work on that issue of the
01:27:34socioeconomic part, how it influences each of these factors. We're going to a break and we'll be right back.
01:28:01The conversation doesn't stop and neither do
01:28:05we, the topics that move us we develop
01:28:09in depth. In "Reporte Estelar" we go beyond the
01:28:12news, we explore it and present it from
01:28:16all its perspectives. We investigate, contextualize,
01:28:20connect because each topic has many sides
01:28:23and millions of voices, join the
01:28:26conversation, you are also part of this space,
01:28:30deep analysis presented from all its

01:30:05We validate every detail before issuing it. We explain the
01:30:09context before giving the figures, because economy is
01:30:13measured in every choice you

01:30:17Understanding it is your greatest advantage.

01:30:54moments and still have much to
01:30:56tell, where great voices find their
01:31:00space, interviews with Tony. Carrasco
01:31:03Sundays at 10 PM on Globovisión.
01:31:32We continue in arguments talking with the
01:31:35president and founder of Funcamama and you were telling us about all the work you do
01:31:38and we were left with that doubt about what the reality is now
01:31:42taking it to Venezuela regarding also the diagnosis, also
01:31:46many of the figures that currently many of the
01:31:49cases are already in a late stage and that's where you commented that
01:31:52well, the situation there becomes complicated, the statistics also
01:31:56and the probabilities of life also decrease. How to
01:31:59work and how is the reality now. Venezuela, because you
01:32:03mentioned that well, from the age of 30 it is important to
01:32:07attend that annual consultation and when people there
01:32:10bring up the topic of well, the cost, what is the cost of a consultation, what is the
01:32:13cost of a medical exam, so the person thinks about it
01:32:17and often delays doing that
01:32:20exam and does not prioritize
01:32:23it either, so what are the factors that influence and what is that reality that
01:32:27we really have in Venezuela, well you just said it,
01:32:30they don't prioritize it. health, right?
01:32:33So, uh,
01:32:37we have to be completely
01:32:40clear about the lack of investment in the
01:32:43health area in Venezuela in general and that this
01:32:47investment affects free
01:32:50access to timely diagnostic services for breast cancer
01:32:53and other health conditions, but
01:32:56also there are
01:32:59many organizations that are doing
01:33:03important work to provide access and the
01:33:06truth is, yes, to give them opportunities for diagnosis
01:33:09and treatment at a lower value than what
01:33:15be, but I'm going to tell you something, first, breast cancer
01:33:18is a costly health condition anywhere in the world, it's not just here in
01:33:22Venezuela, it's not that medicines are more expensive here than they
01:33:26cost in Spain or in Italy or in Colombia, the
01:33:29value of oncological medicines is always a high
01:33:33value because they are medicines that are not produced massively, it is not a
01:33:37medicine that has a limit of
01:33:40manufacturing, then they are medicines that... as
01:33:43more types of cancer are discovered every day, in
01:33:47the case of breast cancer, they are innovative
01:33:50medicines, the more innovative the medicine, the more expensive it will
01:33:53be, we could talk a whole program about explaining how medicines are manufactured,
01:33:57how a patent is made, the 25 years of research that have to
01:34:01be, because sometimes people don't understand the cost of the medicine, so a medicine
01:34:05is expensive because more than 1,000 molecules are tested, some of
01:34:09these molecules, in the laboratory, it is seen if
01:34:12they really can work or not, they are tested on
01:34:16animals, then clinical studies are done on people and that takes 25 years of
01:34:19investment where the pharmaceutical industry is making that investment and
01:34:22then globally there is something called a
01:34:26patent, the exclusivity of production of that medicine for
01:34:2925, 15 years, depending on how important the
01:34:33medicine is, so that's why the medicine becomes expensive because
01:34:37the investment made previously has to be recovered to be able to get to that
01:34:41medicine, the ideal would be for the states to be the ones in the countries.
01:34:45In the world, they were the ones who did the research, but there isn't a country in the world that has the
01:34:48possibility of taking money from their taxes for
01:34:52oncology research, no, so it will always be private
01:34:55companies that do it and who distribute the medicines anywhere
01:34:59in the world, the largest distributor of medicines will always
01:35:02be the eh eh the ministries of health, the states are the ones that have that
01:35:06power, in the case of Venezuela, well, we have gone through
01:35:09a lot of situations eh of economic crises,
01:35:13in addition to, well,
01:35:19the investment, but there's also something very important, I said it recently,
01:35:23sometimes we have to understand the investment, right? And well, since we are here
01:35:27in arguments, I'll explain a little, the investment happens because we have to
01:35:30modify the national budget, we have to
01:35:33establish that only 3% of the
01:35:36GDP is invested in health and that of that 3%, only
01:35:40less than 0.5% is invested in oncology, in all
01:35:44oncological conditions and then comes breast cancer, you can imagine that the
01:35:48allocation gets smaller every day because out of every $100 that comes in, only three are
01:35:51invested in health, of those three less than 0.3
01:35:55cents are invested in oncology, so we have to
01:35:59change the budget to be able to
01:36:02provide greater funding to the health system to be able to
01:36:05carry out maintenance and also the acquisition of
01:36:09medicines, that's why at this moment the most important thing
01:36:12for the citizen is to understand that they have to invest in
01:36:16their own health and that getting exams done will never be
01:36:20a waste of money, rather it will always be the best investment they can
01:36:23make, yes it can be done because here I always
01:36:27say we see how everyone celebrates a child's
01:36:31baptism, a child's piñata and I
01:36:33assure you that to fill a piñata
01:36:37you need more money than you need to get
01:36:41a mammogram, so sometimes it's a
01:36:43matter of priorities, right? We are very
01:36:47used to living always looking outwards
01:36:50to show others, but we forget about the most important thing, which is this only
01:36:54body we have in this only life we have, right? So we have to make that
01:36:58investment, that people arrive late or
01:37:01have barriers, yes, I repeat, there is a barrier of fear first,
01:37:05another is the barrier of
01:37:08making the decision not to
01:37:11go, there is the barrier that there are not enough
01:37:15public timely diagnosis units in the country and many of those that
01:37:19exist sometimes don't have now with the electrical system they also
01:37:22have serious serious problems of continuity of
01:37:26electrical intensity because the equipment needs constant electricity, not these
01:37:30peaks where the light goes up 120
01:37:32goes down, it affects the equipment, we also have
01:37:36a big a big detail which is that mastology
01:37:40is a new specialty in the world, so here in
01:37:43Venezuela we don't have a postgraduate degree in mastology, we have
01:37:47eh oncological surgeons who dedicate themselves to mastology or
01:37:50surgeons who do fellowships in mastology, but a postgraduate degree as such, where a
01:37:54person comes out with a postgraduate degree in mastology, we don't have that, so
01:37:58that also means that perhaps we don't have enough
01:38:01doctors in the public sector to be able to attend to
01:38:04all the women we should be able to attend to, so
01:38:08I feel that on the planet we are in
01:38:12constant changes and in mastology, this story is just
01:38:15beginning, I know that historical
01:38:18times are not the, historical times are not life times, sometimes we
01:38:22despair, so we would like to live
01:38:25as if we were in the year 3000, but it turns out that
01:38:29no, we are in 2026, and
01:38:32in a very deteriorated country but with
01:38:35many opportunities, right? And I think the biggest opportunity has been to see how
01:38:39organizations like Funcamama and other organizations are
01:38:43doing a transparent,
01:38:46coherent, solvent job, you know, to be able to
01:38:49provide that access and that's the
01:38:52role of civil society, to try to also bet on the
01:38:56country's development and betting on the country's development
01:39:01health, yes, it really is a job, it is a task that requires
01:39:05dedication and well, that's why it has been doing this work for more than 24 years,
01:39:08little by little, now we have to, we have to go to the break, but before that I also
01:39:12have a doubt that I would like you to answer briefly, because when we talk and
01:39:15we see for example that we don't have a mastology postgraduate degree here in
01:39:19Venezuela, but also when we look at the world,
01:39:22right? I see or it's my perspective, I would like to
01:39:26know yours. that perhaps the investment
01:39:29also worldwide, the research
01:39:33of scientific studies, many times the investment goes to other things more than
01:39:37health, I don't know if you see it that way, I see for example that the studies regarding
01:39:41health in general were in men, today
01:39:43we see new discoveries where they tell you, well, for women it's different and
01:39:47you say, well, how is this possible years ago, or how many years have had to pass
01:39:51for us to have these discoveries now, clearly, but that's how
01:39:54human evolution is, it's just that
01:39:58we are a generation that lives in the instantaneous, right? We want
01:40:02everything to be automatic and you see it on social media, uh,
01:40:05before it was "10 steps to change your life," then "eight," then "five," now it's "three tips" with which supposedly
01:40:09you change your life, life is like that, things cannot be improvised, they are
01:40:13built, so research both at the level of medical equipment, at the level of
01:40:16medicines, at the level of
01:40:19discoveries are not that simple, it's not that
01:40:22simply, a process of years of research,
01:40:26an investment of knowledge, an investment of
01:40:29knowledge because, uh, this has to do with other health conditions,
01:40:33but look how long it takes for someone to reach maturity and reach
01:40:37analysis and have a lot of information that you can
01:40:41have a 10, 15-year-old person with a completely
01:40:44new brain but with a tenth of the information that a brain
01:40:47that is 70 years old has, right? So how do you do it if you could transmit the
01:40:51experience and save yourself all those years of evolution, maybe, but it's not
01:40:55like that, so... societies in the world are constantly
01:40:59transforming and transformations are generation after generation,
01:41:02it's not that easy, it's not that even
01:41:06I would tell you it's not a matter of not it's only an investment,
01:41:09it's a matter of discovering the organism in
01:41:13a different way every day, our
01:41:16universe that we ourselves still don't learn to know, well,
01:41:20we have to continue there, well, learning, as I said, let's take a break and we'll
01:41:24be back.
01:41:48The territory is not explored from a newsroom, it is
01:41:51traversed, heard, felt,
01:41:53siente,
01:41:56years of experience. They taught us that the authentic voice is built with
01:42:00patience, with understanding, with absolute respect for those who speak from the
01:42:03state of Lara, the state of Miranda, the state, from the state of Guaira,
01:42:07from the state of Bolívar, we arrive where the news is
01:42:10born, we validate on the ground and break down the country, all the
01:42:13states, thousands of realities, we document them, without filters, without
01:42:17distances,
01:42:22because territory is not seen from afar, it is understood with
01:42:25presence, with true companionship.
01:42:38Solidarity is born in the pause, it is
01:42:42sustained in full attention and
01:42:45in the value of the testimony of each one of
01:42:49you.
01:42:51The
01:42:54bond is built with patience and with...
01:42:57perseverance, we are on the ground observing
01:43:01every detail that we note and
01:43:04contrasting versions, before broadcasting them we seek
01:43:08concrete solutions, we unite needs with resources and
01:43:11protect
01:43:12testimonies,
01:43:19the pork rind, Juanmbimba's little phone, we understand the context before each record,
01:43:22we work with closeness, we offer information with
01:43:26foundation, we are stories that motivate
01:43:29decisions and generate solutions, because this
01:43:32space is measured in constant
01:43:36work and in the commitment to
01:43:40honor the word of those we serve.
01:43:53The world is not understood in headlines, it is understood in
01:43:56context.
01:43:59In events that transcend borders,
01:44:02each conflict, each protest is not an isolated event, it is part of a
01:44:06much deeper global plot.
01:44:11because geopolitics happens far away, it is in your country's
01:44:14economy, in the technology you use, in the rights you defend, you want
01:44:18to understand the world, then it's not enough just to
01:44:21see it, you have to broaden your
01:44:23perspective.
01:44:26events that unite us and changes that transform us
01:44:29widely,
01:44:31Sundays, 4 in the afternoon on
01:44:34Globovisión,
01:44:39health, beyond the urgency, is
01:44:42built with evidence, with questions that others
01:44:45avoid.
01:44:49Years ago we understood that medical information should not
01:44:52scare, it should protect. We compare
01:44:55studies, we consult experts and we filter
01:44:59everything to keep what is really important for your
01:45:02life. Beyond replicating alarms, we give you
01:45:05certainties.
01:45:10To be more than a service is a commitment that we renew every day,
01:45:25at Globovisión we have multiple options to keep you
01:45:29connected with what is happening in Venezuela, go to
01:45:32globovision.com click on our YouTube channel
01:45:36and now also on Daily Motion and link.
01:45:40our live signal wherever
01:45:43been saved, rescued in the state of La Guaira,
01:45:47remember Globovisión on Daily Motion so that
01:45:51you are always connected.
01:46:15We continue in arguments conversing with the
01:46:18president of Funcamama and talking about the current
01:46:21reality, with the cases they receive, how they
01:46:25observe it, I know that they are in Valencia, in Carabobo,
01:46:28but they receive cases and they have statistics there, how do they see this
01:46:32work from Funcamama, how is breast cancer and in some way
01:46:36also that work they are doing right now.
01:46:40in October, all the activities that it has precisely in this
01:46:43month, yes, look, the issue of the
01:46:46cases that reach us is very interesting, because we at
01:46:50Funcamama, as we have the largest group of mastologist doctors in Venezuela and
01:46:53we have our consultations, mammography, ultrasound, everything that people
01:46:56need for diagnosis and treatment in our facilities, we have
01:47:00a diversity of people, we have a public that comes that is
01:47:04sensitized with the campaign and comes to get
01:47:07tested, normally that person, very few of those
01:47:11people have some lesion that is
01:47:14malignant or that is in an advanced stage because it is a person who
01:47:18normally goes annually to get tested,
01:47:21so it is a person who is controlled, then we have the
01:47:25people who come to our support programs for
01:47:28people diagnosed with cancer to our chemotherapy
01:47:32units, so there we see a very important
01:47:36variable but we realize that it also has to do with the
01:47:40demographic movement of the country, right? So sometimes we have
01:47:43very young girls of 32, 34 years old
01:47:46with very aggressive breast cancers and then we
01:47:50have a gap of women aged 55, 60,
01:47:5365 years old, but also remember that we have a
01:47:57demographic group that is no longer in the country
01:48:00either, right? So that also shows up in the statistics,
01:48:04right? So when you look at the statistics, well, we diagnose
01:48:08daily, on
01:48:10average about six, seven new cases, right?
01:48:14But where do these cases come from? Are they people who had not been tested for a long time or are they
01:48:17new people and what ages are we talking about? So we have that
01:48:21gap, we have that gap of 40 years and
01:48:24younger and then we have 55 and older, we have a
01:48:27gap between 40 and 55 where the
01:48:31incidence is not that high because we don't have that many people who are
01:48:34coming in, but those between 40 and 55 who...
01:48:38come are our regular users,
01:48:41so they maintain their check-ups or we have already
01:48:45diagnosed them and they are simply in remission, controlled, so
01:48:49to tell you you know, breast cancer is
01:48:52behaving in such a way, we are not the national reference center for
01:48:56cancer, there is no national reference center for cancer, although the Ministry of
01:48:59Health with Dr. Capote is doing some important and
01:49:03valuable studies on how breast cancer behaves in Venezuela, but we are
01:49:07not the only national
01:49:09reference center, so I could tell you that we continue to
01:49:13treat people, but for
01:49:16excepting some very specific cases, the cases that come
01:49:19to us are... that there is cancer, but treatable cancer, that is, cancer that
01:49:23perhaps the person needs, I don't know, eight cycles of
01:49:27chemotherapy, 20-something radiotherapies, these are cases where
01:49:30the treatment does not take a year, two years, unlike cases that
01:49:33we have had on other occasions of people who have even had to have their arm
01:49:37removed because the lesion is very large, so if you ask me if we have
01:49:41improved, we have improved a lot and we will continue to
01:49:44improve because these campaigns that go beyond simply wearing the
01:49:48pink ribbon but understanding that the great campaign... is that one goes to get
01:49:52tested and talks and discusses this by word of mouth
01:49:55to be able to save lives together and understand it as explained in the program, as I said,
01:49:59research, investment,
01:50:02treatment, the internal part, the cells that
01:50:05cancer is, no, yes, yes, yes,
01:50:09by understanding it we lose, we remove all these
01:50:12fears, we have more information and information, as you rightly say
01:50:15in the media, information is power, and power
01:50:18is the power to make consensual decisions,
01:50:23and live in the present with a vision of the future, yes, make those good decisions, we're going to
01:50:27take a break and well, when we return, she will tell us about
01:50:30that activity that really characterizes Funcamama
01:50:33and helps its work continue
01:50:37365 days a year, she will tell us after the break.
01:51:05Good morning to all our dear audience,
01:51:09here you not only get informed, you
01:51:11get inspired, you have fun and start your
01:51:15day well. The best coffee of the
01:51:19week is drunk on Saturdays and Sundays.
01:51:23The morning has a new flavor, between
01:51:27news, Saturdays and Sundays, 7:30 in the
01:51:31morning on
01:51:32Globovisión,
01:51:39social
01:51:40work,
01:51:43the spirit of
01:51:44overcoming,
01:51:48public and private initiatives of organized individuals.
01:51:53that improve our society, make it possible to have
01:51:56another vision, Saturdays at
01:51:591 in the afternoon on
01:52:01Globovisión,
01:52:04the world shouts at us, whispers in agreements, in
01:52:08global events, in decisions that
01:52:11touch our borders, with Iran,
01:52:15the Pope, we have spent years deciphering that
01:52:18language, cross-referencing cables, validating sources.
01:52:22Translating geopolitics into your daily
01:52:25reality, we do not repeat headlines, we build
01:52:29context: Tokyo, in Peru, Israel, Donald
01:52:32Trump, understanding the global is your greatest defense, we
01:52:36connect the dots for you to understand your country.
01:52:54The rumor dies down in a day, culture endures for
01:52:57generations, our job is to draw the line between the
01:53:01fleeting and what really
01:53:05research, context and history of each
01:53:08talent, we validate sources, we structure the lines
01:53:11of inquiry and we look for the origin of each
01:53:14news item.
01:53:19We delve into each trajectory, we follow the process, and
01:53:22we highlight the work that sustains the work, we cross-reference
01:53:26with institutions and creators, each note that
01:53:29we share comes with a solid basis and
01:53:32context,
01:53:35talent deserves a focused approach with substance, we share
01:53:38it with a careful eye and a solid base so that its work reaches the
01:53:42dimension it
01:53:43deserves,
01:53:47and that is our job, to document culture with
01:53:50depth.
01:54:03Learn about innovative projects, ecological
01:54:06tips and the lifestyle that is transforming
01:54:10communities.
01:54:12Immerse yourself in a space where nature and
01:54:15modernity converge to shape a more
01:54:19sustainable and conscious future.
01:54:22content that will take you to the heart of green and sustainable
01:54:26condominiums,
01:54:29presented by Jubnexa Rojas. Mundo
01:54:32con Dominios, every Saturday. 11 in the
01:54:35morning on Globovisión,
01:55:02we are already in the last part of arguments with a conversation with the
01:55:05president of Funcamama, well, a very pleasant and
01:55:09profound interview, right, to understand everything that this
01:55:12Pink October really represents, this global fight against breast
01:55:16cancer and very important are the activities carried out by
01:55:19Funcamama, this walk that I would say is very
01:55:24the largest and precisely well, that helps
01:55:28Funcamama's work continue, tell us about the walk, the
01:55:32dates, how to participate and what it represents.
01:55:36Of course, I'm going to start with what it represents, it represents an opportunity
01:55:40to raise funds to subsidize
01:55:43studies, exams, consultations for more than 40,000 people
01:55:47annually, it represents the fact that we can donate
01:55:50completely free of charge, more than 6,000 studies
01:55:54also ranging from X-rays to radiotherapy,
01:55:58you know, to go through the entire universe of different health
01:56:01conditions, this walk, which is our only fundraising
01:56:05activity that we do in the year at Funcamama, is
01:56:08our how is it, 11th or eleventh
01:56:12edition and has the particularity that we
01:56:15do it in Valencia, we are expecting this year 20,000 people
01:56:19to register, it's 5 km, we
01:56:22do it on the regional highway of the center in the facilities of
01:56:26Red Vital Macro, it starts there, it returns there and
01:56:30when it returns we have more than 50
01:56:33exhibitors who will be accompanying
01:56:35us, who are sponsors and we will also have the presentation of the
01:56:39superband of Venezuela, Guaco, who will be accompanying us and with the
01:56:43people who register and acquire the kit, which will also include this
01:56:47beautiful T-shirt, this beautiful T-shirt that
01:56:50is pink, blue and white because we are working, we want to make
01:56:54prostate cancer visible too, the other thing we are
01:56:56doing is that with the T-shirt you get a
01:57:00number, in that number you
01:57:15families, to more than 40,000 families that we help annually, to join
01:57:18this edition of our walk, a
01:57:22walk that is at 7 in the morning, that we have a 5
01:57:25km route, which is a basic route, we have entertainment
01:57:29every 300, 300 m, so you won't get bored, you won't even
01:57:33realize you walked and also, step by step
01:57:36together we will save lives with this activity, you can get
01:57:40information through social media @funcamama, it will help
01:57:43us but it will help thousands of people, that's why our
01:57:47slogan is "together we save lives" because the only way Funcamama
01:57:51can continue working is if all of us turn
01:57:55to provide information, spread the word
01:57:58and collaborate with all our actions that are not for us
01:58:02but for those people who visit us from... all over the country, yes, of course, and that
01:58:06everyone has a sister, an aunt, a
01:58:09daughter, someone close or themselves, in the case of men who suddenly
01:58:13say well that's not it because men also suffer from breast
01:58:17cancer, that's also another separate program and also
01:58:20we also have medical services for them, but it's the family
01:58:24because if a woman gets sick, that woman has a brother, a
01:58:28father, a son, a partner who also suffers from the
01:58:31process, you know, so this is a health condition and all conditions.
01:58:35of health connect us all, especially Venezuelans who are always
01:58:38present in life, we are family, it's not like other
01:58:42cultures where the person gets sick and well you leave them in the hospital and let the doctors
01:58:45take care of them, no, not here, here the family gets involved, the
01:58:49family tries to resolve, also contributes economically, they are part
01:58:53of the process of those affected by the process, even generation after generation, so the
01:58:57invitation is for you to join us, it's really an activity that we do with
01:59:00a lot of love, with a lot of joy because we celebrate the
01:59:04victors. The people who are living with breast cancer or who have already
01:59:08gone through it and we celebrate those who are no longer here because we exist as long as
01:59:11someone remembers us, so remembering all those friends who
01:59:15passed their time, they did not manage to have
01:59:19a longer survival but they were here, they were here, they were
01:59:23loved, they loved and they built and contributed to society, they also
01:59:26deserve to be remembered, so well, the invitation is Sunday,
01:59:30November 1st, 7 in the morning in Valencia, so that we can
01:59:34walk. Step by step united for life,
01:59:37let's also celebrate and dance with and start Christmas
01:59:41with Guaco, you can also win that 0 km Jeep truck,
01:59:44so united to save lives, yes, that's right, part of that alliance
01:59:48with with with different private companies that also
01:59:52help and add up and that all of us in some way can be part of working with
01:59:56those foundations and well, our interview time is over but thanks for
01:59:59joining us, Luisa Rodríguez Táriba, president and founder
02:00:03of Funcamama and I believe that from this space we celebrate these initiatives, we celebrate
02:00:06this walk so that people can join, they can register,
02:00:10they can participate and that the call for attention in the end is that we can all
02:00:14do something from where we are for a family member, individually. As
02:00:17we said throughout the interview, take care of ourselves, but also contribute to the arduous work
02:00:21that different organizations do, Funcamama is one, but there are
02:00:24also other foundations and organizations that are working and we can all be
02:00:28part of this Pink October and well, join us, thank you very much for being in the
02:00:31interview, thank you, it's a pleasure to share, thank you for also being
02:00:35in tune, remember our social networks
02:00:37@argumentosgg, my account @orién and that you can watch this interview in full on our
02:00:41YouTube channel

02:02:10infrastructure. In sports, feats on

02:02:27Good evening, those and other news items will be clarified here in
02:02:31Globovisión News, we begin immediately with this informative
02:02:34tour. The President of the Republic Elsi
02:02:38Rodríguez offered a report this Sunday,
02:02:41October 11, after more than 100 days had passed since the
02:02:45earthquakes that shook the country. In
02:02:48terms of housing, we have rehabilitated and delivered
02:02:522,422 homes in Caracas with
02:02:55special attention to the municipalities of Libertador and
02:02:58Chacao, as well as in the states of La Guaira, Miranda and
02:03:02Aragua, benefiting
02:03:048,862
02:03:07people. Also, 700 new homes have been delivered
02:03:11in six states of the country and in La Guaira,
02:03:14680 homes were
02:03:17recovered, benefiting
02:03:203,358
02:03:23people. We also continue rehabilitating
02:03:2620,083 homes that will benefit
02:03:30a total of 82,205
02:03:33people in three states of the country. We have
02:03:37delivered 461 credits to condominiums
02:03:40with benefits for

02:03:45families for the recovery of their spaces, their homes
02:03:48and the plan of 3,000 temporary
02:03:52single-family homes in Ciudad Caribe
02:03:55is being executed with 27%
02:03:59progress and a total goal of 6,000 single-family
02:04:03homes. On the other hand,
02:04:067,336 people have been
02:04:10relocated and 30 temporary camps
02:04:13have been cleared. During this time, in addition,
02:04:17we have inspected
02:04:1862,968
02:04:22properties to determine their
02:04:25habitability and for safety, 267
02:04:28buildings have had to be demolished. In
02:04:31La Guaira, we have collected
02:04:341,200,000 tons of
02:04:37debris out of the 2,100,000 tons of the total
02:04:40goal, clearing 120 in record
02:04:44time for the rapid recovery of the
02:04:48affected areas in the public services of
02:04:53progress reaches 100% for electricity and
02:04:57domestic gas. 99% for
02:05:00drinking water and we have 85%
02:05:03connectivity. All of them essential services for
02:05:07daily life. The
02:05:09National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology reported on the
02:05:13upcoming movement and impact of two new tropical waves over
02:05:16national territory between October 13 and
02:05:1918. The meteorological agency detailed that
02:05:23system number 56 will enter through the Guayana Esequiba between
02:05:27Monday and Tuesday to
02:05:31interact with the intertropical convergence zone,
02:05:34while perturbation number 57 will approach
02:05:38towards the end of the period, increasing cloud cover
02:05:41and the frequency of rainfall of variable intensity in its
02:05:44path. The interaction of these atmospheric systems
02:05:48will generate intense showers and electrical activity
02:05:51starting in the eastern and southern regions of the country,
02:05:55to then gradually extend towards the
02:05:58central and western Venezuelan entities. Institutional
02:06:02reports state that to date, 38
02:06:06waves have effectively passed over the national
02:06:09geography after the recent passage of perturbation number
02:06:1255, which caused significant rainfall in the Andean
02:06:16region, the plains and the state of Zulia. The
02:06:19governing body recommended civil protection agencies and the

02:08:45maintaining their operations to rescue Daisy Jacqueline Mora
02:08:48González, a woman who was swept away by the
02:08:51current. This situation originated from an increase
02:08:54in the flow of a tributary of the aquatic body in the Las Cuevas
02:08:58del Arenal sector. This. We are quite concerned about the situation of a
02:09:02colleague and neighbor from the Las Cuevas sector who is
02:09:05missing, declared Nelson Álvarez, mayor of the municipality of
02:09:09Mérida. The leader also highlighted
02:09:12the work of the firefighters and other rescue teams and asked for support
02:09:15from neighbors to optimize the search efforts. Likewise,
02:09:19Álvarez reported that the Picón parish suffered
02:09:22landslides on the road in the El Playón sector and that the
02:09:25Arias parish has been the most affected by the concentration of
02:09:29sediments. acaricide of the Chama River, although the roads that
02:09:33were blocked have been enabled for vehicle traffic,
02:09:36caution is recommended when driving.
02:09:39Citizen security organizations and
02:09:43civil protection officially concluded the search efforts
02:09:47in the Caroní River in Bolívar State, after the lifeless
02:09:50discovery of two minors who remained missing in

02:10:14security personnel, relatives, and community members

02:10:24technical inspections and search patterns in the island area of the
02:10:28river, achieving the location of the victims after the
02:10:31incident caused by the increase in the water flow of the
02:10:34spa. Local sectors reiterated the call to the
02:10:38authorities to strengthen inspection controls and establish
02:10:41preventive restrictions in the recreational spaces
02:10:44of the entity.
02:10:48Time to take a short break, we'll be back with more national news.

02:11:48Every news story has its previous chapter
02:11:50and understanding the present
02:11:54begins by knowing the past. It's not just
02:11:58about knowing what happened today, but understanding
02:12:01why it happened, with data, with context and with
02:12:05memory, because everything has a background that must be
02:12:08examined. Intelligent analysis.
02:12:28In a planet that never sleeps, you must pay attention to

02:13:34We return and it is with an investment of 31 million euros
02:13:37that work is progressing to complete and put into service
02:13:40the Portuguese power station located in the Paes
02:13:44municipality, an infrastructure destined to strengthen the
02:13:48transmission system in the southwest of the country. The
02:13:51territorial manager of Corpoelec, Dani Briseño, and Governor
02:13:55Primitivo Sedeño inspected the work in
02:13:58Acaricua, reporting that the installation will soon be in
02:14:01operation to stabilize the voltage and optimize the
02:14:05service of the states of Portuguesa, Marinas,
02:14:08Mérida, Trujillo and Alto Apure. The
02:14:12authorities explained that the project will allow to strengthen
02:14:15the transmission system at a 115 kV level
02:14:19and support regional energy exchange.
02:14:23Likewise, they highlighted that the reactivation of the
02:14:26works was consolidated through energy agreements signed
02:14:30between the national executive and international
02:14:33corporations, which made it possible to overcome the technical stoppages that
02:14:37affected the import of specialized machinery and
02:14:40components. The regional president stated that the
02:14:44commissioning of this substation will reduce the impact of load
02:14:48management plans in the communities of southwestern
02:14:51Venezuela. The governmental representation and the
02:14:54technical teams of Corpo Elec affirm progress in the
02:14:58consolidation of the national electricity system to guarantee
02:15:01socio-economic development and energy stability of the
02:15:05neighboring entities.
02:15:08The governor of Miranda
02:15:11State and the mayor of Santa Teresa del
02:15:15Tuy, Rainer Pulido Fuentes, led the formal lighting of
02:15:18a new lighting system for the Martín Rada
02:15:21stadium. This sports infrastructure
02:15:25remained two decades without nighttime lighting. During
02:15:28the re-inauguration, the governor of the entity, Helio
02:15:31Serrano, expressed that the works carried out respond to the
02:15:35articulated work between the regional executive and
02:15:41the locality. Today, as you have seen, it is a
02:15:45renovated stadium that definitely
02:15:48has nothing to envy any
02:15:51other space. We have brought it up to par. The
02:15:55lighting is one of its important factors, and now here in this
02:15:58space, we will be able to practice sports, baseball,
02:16:01and softball at any time of day, and especially at
02:16:05night, right? A hug to the people of Teresa, to the
02:16:08athletes of Teresa, and to the baseball players of Teresa. We are
02:16:11truly full of joy because today we are turning on the
02:16:14lights of the Martín Rada stadium, a work that has been carried
02:16:18out thanks to the support of the president of Elsi Rodríguez, thanks to our
02:16:22brother governor of Miranda, Helio Serrano. Here, it is not
02:16:25only about the lighting, but also about the dugouts, the
02:16:29bathrooms, so that it looks beautiful, and of course, at the service of the people, at the service of
02:16:33youth to continue popularizing sports in
02:16:36our municipality of Independence. The festive day includes an exhibition
02:16:40match with the participation of professional baseball
02:16:43figures. The works are part of a comprehensive
02:16:46rehabilitation plan being carried out by the municipal
02:16:48government for the comprehensive recovery of the sports
02:16:52complex. From Miranda state,
02:16:55Ávila, Globo Visión. At
02:16:58the facilities of the family hospital, the first regional
02:17:02neurodiversity congress was held, with the purpose
02:17:05of providing specialized support, tools, training,
02:17:09and comprehensive protection to Aragua families. This
02:17:12meeting was attended by about 300 people, including
02:17:16specialists, authorities, and family members, to
02:17:19establish the foundations of a regional guidance and comprehensive
02:17:23protection plan for neurodivergent people. It is
02:17:27a plan that originates from our
02:17:29Aragua identity to establish
02:17:33a regional plan for the care of families
02:17:37who have neurodivergent conditions. In this sense, today we are
02:17:40accompanied by a series of serious
02:17:44presentations that will allow us to understand
02:17:47and be able to help all these
02:17:50families who have in their
02:17:53homes
02:17:56some relatives with some condition. We,
02:17:59as a society, from the Bolivarian state of Aragua, have
02:18:03promoted through education, through
02:18:06training and capacity building, everything that has
02:18:09to do with this entire area. The congress contemplates
02:18:12the articulation of various public institutions with the central objective
02:18:16of providing mothers and guardians with the relevant tools to
02:18:19guarantee the ideal accompaniment in the continuous development
02:18:23of neurodivergent children and young people in the
02:18:26region. From Aragua, José Merchan,
02:18:29Globovisión. The Ministry for Water
02:18:32Attention announced the execution of preventive and corrective
02:18:36maintenance work on the Twit3 production system starting
02:18:39at midnight this Sunday, October 11.
02:18:43Through an official statement, the authorities reported that the
02:18:47technical optimization maneuvers will generate
02:18:50temporary interruptions and intermittences in the supply of
02:18:53drinking water, for an estimated period of 48 hours in the
02:18:57capital district and the states of La Guaira and Miranda.
02:19:01The operational deployment contemplates the intervention of specialized
02:19:04crews on the main pipes, pumping systems,
02:19:07and water treatment plants to improve distribution flows in
02:19:11the central region of the country. The authorities of the
02:19:15water sector urged citizens and technical community
02:19:18committees to take the necessary preventive
02:19:21storage measures to mitigate the impact of the mandatory
02:19:25shutdown during the repair period. The
02:19:28regulatory institution ratified that it will maintain active
02:19:32work fronts uninterruptedly until the metropolitan
02:19:35aqueduct's operation is restored.
02:19:38metropolitano.
02:19:41Listen carefully: motorcycle theft has increased in the country,
02:19:45as reported by the director of the CICPC a few
02:19:48weeks ago. That is why in the following special report, we will
02:19:52provide you with different prevention tools to protect your
02:19:55vehicle.
02:20:00Beyond using the traditional steering wheel lock for motorcycles,
02:20:04experts recommend incorporating additional security
02:20:07systems such as the use of
02:20:10kill switches, a hidden GPS tracker in
02:20:13a difficult-to-access place, and even padlocks
02:20:17or cables for the disk or sprocket. If it's a
02:20:20disk, a disk padlock that can be locked
02:20:23and has the diameter to be used. This
02:20:27padlock has a large diameter. There are some padlocks with
02:20:31smaller diameters, longer ones. I always recommend buying the longer
02:20:34ones, you know, so you can use them on any
02:20:38of the models. There are some that are U-shaped that can be used to
02:20:41secure them here on the sprocket to prevent the
02:20:45motorcycle from rolling forward or backward. For scooters,
02:20:48obviously, it doesn't fit or any padlock doesn't
02:20:52work, so they sell straps or chains with locks
02:20:56that can be quite useful to prevent this type of theft,
02:20:59but we must also know that there are experienced locksmiths among criminals,
02:21:02so they can still open any type of padlock. There are
02:21:06padlocks that come with an alarm that can audibly alert you
02:21:10and make you turn towards your motorcycle, but always remember
02:21:14that we must use GPS so that if it is
02:21:17stolen, you can locate it more quickly. The market
02:21:21also offers protection options such as full
02:21:25coverage insurance policies in case of eventual losses.
02:21:28Likewise, when driving through the city, the place where you park
02:21:32your vehicle makes a difference. The use of
02:21:35parking is better on the street. Nobody will respond for you. People
02:21:39want to save a little money so they don't have to pay the person who watches it,
02:21:43so they park anywhere, and in those 5 minutes,
02:21:46many things can happen. If these
02:21:49measures are not enough and you are a victim of the act,
02:21:53reporting quickly is crucial. For this, the
02:21:56affected person must go to the nearest CICPC headquarters in the
02:22:00area of the incident with their identity card and some
02:22:03document that proves ownership of the vehicle.
02:22:05The case will be forwarded to the
02:22:09vehicle theft and robbery investigation department, in charge
02:22:15the National Institute of Land Transport and carrying out the
02:22:19relevant investigations together with the
02:22:21prosecutor's office. Mayeli Angarita, Globo
02:22:24Visión. A new break and on our return,
02:22:28we have more information to
02:22:29highlight.
02:22:52Party, we exalt the worship of God through
02:22:56music, we honor the pastors and
02:22:59worshipers of Christian churches,
02:23:02we will raise the biblical word and prayer to
02:23:05our Lord Jesus Christ.

02:23:45at 10:30 in the morning on Globovisión.
02:24:11Exhibitors and national companies gathered at the
02:24:1349th edition of the Zulia State Livestock
02:24:17Commercial Expo, an event
02:24:21development of production in the country.
02:24:24Generating more content from the town of Rosario at this Livestock Commercial Expo
02:24:282026 Edition, the forty-ninth. It's a pleasure
02:24:31for us to be here sharing with the different area leaders and
02:24:35brands. Let's remember, more than 120 brands have been
02:24:38present throughout this week, in this event developed from October 7 to
02:24:4211. We are joined by Jesús Suárez, who is the
02:24:45leader of the Livestock area of Kiri Foods. We already know a
02:24:48little about the trajectory of this company that is about to turn 20
02:24:52years old, but we are going to talk about how they have worked during these two
02:24:56decades, also with the Venezuelan producer because it is one of the most important
02:24:59parts, not a brand that came to impose itself, but to
02:25:03also work with that Venezuelan producer who was already
02:25:06familiar with these tasks. Welcome to Globovisión, good afternoon,
02:25:10thank you very much Luciana, indeed, Kiri
02:25:13Foods is a company whose main interest is
02:25:17to contribute to the country, to continue growing with excellence and bringing
02:25:36is precisely the one representing the brand at
02:25:39this exhibition, but I wanted to know a little about how that
02:25:43work has been to become a family with that Venezuelan
02:25:46producer who perhaps worked in a non-industrial way and
02:25:50managed to prepare himself, managed to grow and today is part of this
02:25:54productive line. Well, definitely, in fact, one
02:25:58of the slogans of one of our brands is for happy families. We
02:26:02have managed to build a family. Kiri
02:26:04Foods has more than 2,000 direct employees. We
02:26:08are about to turn 20 years old in the country.
02:26:12We participate in 15 states with our
02:26:15products and we produce 8% of the
02:26:18country's chicken production and 4% of egg
02:26:22production, meaning we are one of the most important companies
02:26:26in the sector. Well, let's talk a little about livestock so that our
02:26:30viewers can learn about those who are currently tuned in to
02:26:33Globovisión. What is this topic of dual-purpose
02:26:37animals about? Because it is one of the things we have heard most about
02:26:40in terms of innovation, technology and above all, a species that develops
02:26:44specifically here in this region of Venezuela with this intense climate,
02:26:48because that characteristic is no secret to
02:26:50anyone. About those dual-purpose animal species so that our viewers
02:26:53can have a little more understanding about this matter. Dual-purpose
02:26:57livestock is a type of livestock that specializes in milk production
02:27:01but also in meat, and that has the possibility of producing in
02:27:05both directions. It is basically what is produced
02:27:08in our areas near the town of Rosario
02:27:12at this fair. We are in the town of Rosario, which is practically
02:27:15our home, so of course we had to participate
02:27:18and we have a large group of animals,
02:27:22we are talking about almost 30 animals that we brought for
02:27:24the competition, of course we could not miss being here. Well, when
02:27:28you talk about that important milk production that comes from
02:27:32these dual-purpose animals, what
02:27:35daily amount in liters
02:27:38specifically do they manage to have daily and what
02:27:42products do they achieve in this transformation, in this use of this
02:27:45resource? Well, in the specific case of Kiri
02:27:49foods... We are at an average milk production of 20 liters per
02:27:52cow.
02:27:55Milk is used for other derivatives. We produce our
02:27:59Gouda cheese through the processing of this milk.
02:28:02We also produce beef, of course,
02:28:06which accompanies Venezuelans at their tables. Well, we have
02:28:09run out of time, we are going to move on with more of the
02:28:13Globovisión programming, but there is something I want to know: the
02:28:16importance of brands like this that are close to
02:28:20two decades of work in the country, participating in this
02:28:23type of exhibition. What does it leave for the public, what does it leave
02:28:27for the family that visits the expo-fair, by getting to know,
02:28:31for example, the Kiri food stand on this occasion? Well,
02:28:34without a doubt, our main interest is to continue
02:28:37investing in the country and contributing to the country, but the
02:28:41people who come and visit us will undoubtedly be able to see the
02:28:45quality of the animals that are produced and that end up on their
02:28:48tables to feed us. We definitely believe in
02:28:52excellence, we believe in building, and in
02:28:55these types of events, we can show the
02:28:58work we do every day, which is not seen and
02:29:02is complicated, but here you can see the final
02:29:06result. In these types of events, we have achieved important
02:29:09recognitions, we have been best breeders, best
02:29:12national exhibitors, the last national records in
02:29:14milk production in the country have been the last four cows
02:29:18from Kiri foods, and the current national record,
02:29:22which is 79.5 liters of milk, is a cow from
02:29:25Kiri foods. Thanks Jesús Suárez, leader of the livestock
02:29:28area of Kiri foods. We continue this tour,
02:29:31we are not in the prime time slot, but we are
02:29:35accompanying all of Venezuela, continue with the
02:29:37programming, Luciana Peña Fonte Globovisión.
02:29:41Visión,
02:29:43The Integrated National Customs and Tax Administration Service
02:29:47announced the development of a technological application
02:29:51oriented to electronic invoicing for small and medium
02:29:54taxpayers. The superintendent of the issuing
02:29:58body, Román Maniglia, made the measure public during the
02:30:0182nd annual assembly of Fe de Cámaras, highlighting
02:30:05that the objective of the National Treasury is to increase collection
02:30:09through stimulating economic and productive activity, and
02:30:12not through punitive schemes or administrative
02:30:14sanctions. The technological transformation project
02:30:18contemplates the figure of technical tax agents trained in
02:30:22digital tools, as well as the interoperability
02:30:25of the tax system with state entities, such as Sudeban,
02:30:28Saren, Saime, and the National Institute of Land
02:30:31Transportation. This integration of public
02:30:34platforms will facilitate real-time data verification,
02:30:37streamline the processing of commercial files, and
02:30:40simplify tax obligations for businesses, strengthening
02:30:44the articulation between the public and
02:30:47private sectors. The
02:30:51next Monday, October 12, banking sector institutions will
02:30:54not provide commercial services due to the holiday corresponding
02:30:58to Indigenous Resistance Day.
02:31:02According to the calendar established by Sudeban, during October

02:33:51Let's review international news and the first time that U.S. President
02:33:54Donald Trump announced an agreement between Russia and Ukraine
02:33:58to immediately suspend attacks against their
02:34:02respective energy infrastructure in the
02:34:05conflict. The U.S. president
02:34:08announced through his social networks, the establishment of
02:34:12a ceasefire focused on the energy sector,
02:34:16urging the parties not to violate the
02:34:19measure. The announcement comes after weeks of
02:34:22military escalation against refineries and
02:34:25electrical installations, factors that drove the
02:34:29rise in fuel prices
02:34:33neither Russian authorities nor Ukrainian
02:34:36authorities have issued official
02:34:39statements regarding the communiqué issued from
02:34:43Washington. The statement comes a day after the
02:34:46U.S. head of state questioned
02:34:49military operations against crude
02:34:53processing centers and suggested the need
02:34:56for changes in Kiev's political leadership.
02:35:00Incursions against hydrocarbon structures
02:35:04have put pressure on the cost of diesel in the
02:35:08international market, a scenario aggravated by the situation
02:35:12in the Middle East. As part of measures to
02:35:15stabilize world prices, the White House will
02:35:19temporarily authorize Russian commercial
02:35:22operations of fuel until April.
02:35:25abril.
02:35:28The Secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council
02:35:31stated that the U.S. administration accepted some points
02:35:35of the plan presented to end the conflict and
02:35:39reopen the Strait of Hormuz. The
02:35:42representative of the Security Council of the Asian
02:35:44country described Washington's official stance as
02:35:48insufficient, requesting clarifications
02:35:51on the pending aspects. During the
02:35:55General Assembly of the United Nations in New
02:35:58York, Iran presented to the United States a proposal
02:36:01dubbed the 7-day plan
02:36:05to halt hostilities and reopen the
02:36:08Strait of Hormuz. The diplomatic initiative proposes
02:36:12a one-week truce in the region, the suspension of the
02:36:16U.S. naval blockade against Iran,
02:36:19and the lifting of oil restrictions
02:36:22before resuming formal dialogue.
02:36:26According to the proposal, the reopening of the
02:36:29strategic maritime route by Iran would allow
02:36:33negotiations on the nuclear program and the
02:36:35release of financial assets to resume.
02:36:39Despite public statements from the U.S.
02:36:42Executive against the initial
02:36:45project, the delegations maintain
02:36:48an exchange of positions to unblock the commercial
02:36:52and military conflict. The
02:36:54statement comes amid an increase in attacks on
02:36:58ships sailing through the Strait of Hormuz,
02:37:01which has led to a new reduction in the
02:37:05international transport of
02:37:07hydrocarbons.
02:37:10In Peru, an earthquake of 5.2 was recorded in the southern
02:37:14region of Arequipa. No reports of victims or material damage,
02:37:17as reported by the
02:37:18authorities.
02:37:21The U.S. Geological Survey indicated that the tremor occurred
02:37:25at 8:43 local time and had its epicenter 18
02:37:29km southeast of the coastal city of Camaná, in
02:37:33the department of Arequipa. The earthquake had a depth of
02:37:3644.9 km.
02:37:40Peru's Emergency Operations Center reported through its
02:37:43social networks that the tremor was perceived by the inhabitants
02:37:47of the area with an intensity
02:37:51so the evaluation in possible vulnerable areas continues.
02:37:55Likewise, the agency ruled out a tsunami warning in the coastal
02:37:59areas. Peru is located in the so-called
02:38:02Pacific Ring of Fire, so it presents frequent
02:38:05seismic activity. The earthquake
02:38:08occurred not long after the ICA earthquake of
02:38:11magnitude 4.5 and with an epicenter 27
02:38:15kilometers southwest of San Juan de Marcona, in
02:38:18the province of Nazca.
02:38:21A sudden flood destroyed 40 homes in central
02:38:25Nepal, leaving at least five people missing, according to the preliminary
02:38:29assessment.
02:38:31The overflow occurred during the early morning in the province of
02:38:34Gorkha after a sudden increase of more than 8
02:38:38meters in the riverbed was recorded. The flood
02:38:42destroyed bridges and infrastructure in
02:38:45the communities, forcing the deployment of rescue
02:38:49helicopters and the aerial rescue of six
02:38:52trapped people. Technical
02:38:54reports suggest that a landslide of snow
02:38:58temporarily dammed a tributary, releasing
02:39:01a violent flow of muddy water when the
02:39:04natural dam broke. Given the risk of
02:39:08new collapses, protection agencies sent almost 200,000
02:39:11early warning messages
02:39:15to order preventive evacuation in
02:39:17neighboring districts. Residents of the affected
02:39:21areas recounted moments of panic as
02:39:24they evacuated to elevated ground
02:39:27during the early morning. This new incident comes
02:39:30just one month after the devastating
02:39:34floods recorded in the
02:39:36region, while rescue teams
02:39:40continue the active search for the missing
02:39:43people. Spanish police began the
02:39:47eviction of the last large migrant settlement in
02:39:50Ceuta after the massive border crisis recorded a few
02:39:54weeks ago. The security operation
02:39:58proceeded with the dismantling of the
02:40:02the old Elguano factory and the transfer of the
02:40:05occupants to official reception centers.
02:40:09The police action follows previous
02:40:12deployments carried out in the beach areas
02:40:15to recover public spaces in the
02:40:18autonomous city. The intervention
02:40:22takes place just hours before the official visit of the Kings of
02:40:25Spain, Felipe and Leticia, to the
02:40:29North African locality. Although the
02:40:31occupation of the place gradually decreased during recent
02:40:35days, the camp housed citizens
02:40:38who remained in the settlement after
02:40:41the massive entry of immigrants recorded
02:40:45on July 30 and 31. On that
02:40:48date, dozens of deaths were reported in crossing attempts
02:40:52and the recovery of numerous bodies in
02:40:55Ceuta's waters. Ceuta
02:41:00the largest migration crises in its recent history,
02:41:03when thousands of people entered irregularly by
02:41:06sea and across the border.
02:41:09Despite the voluntary return of a large part of the
02:41:13migrant population to Moroccan territory, authorities
02:41:16maintain active contingency plans to
02:41:20assist those who remain in the
02:41:24area. Colombian President Abelardo de la
02:41:27Espriella ordered an investigation into allegations of the alleged
02:41:31transport of illicit substances in official aircraft
02:41:34linked to former First Lady Verónica Alcocer, now
02:41:38former wife of Gustavo Petro. The
02:41:41head of state instructed the Air Force to military
02:41:45counterintelligence agencies to initiate investigations
02:41:49into the personnel of the Military Air Transport
02:41:52Command in Bogotá. The measure seeks to
02:41:56determine institutional liabilities after the
02:42:00publication of accusations presented by a former advisor
02:42:03to the previous presidential cabinet regarding alleged
02:42:07irregular transfers of valuables and substances
02:42:11on state flights. The president requested
02:42:14the intervention of the Prosecutor's Office, the Supreme Court of Justice,
02:42:18and international organizations
02:42:21to evaluate the journalistic reports on
02:42:25more than 100 aerial displacements under
02:42:27review. Abelardo de la Espriella warned that
02:42:31military personnel involved in possible
02:42:35irregularities will be removed
02:42:37from service and handed over to the judicial
02:42:41system. The revelations have generated
02:42:44wide repercussions in the Colombian political scene
02:42:48after the recent officialization of the legal separation
02:42:51between Alcocer and former President
02:42:55Gustavo Petro. Meanwhile,
02:42:57the competent authorities are compiling
02:43:01flight logs and testimonies to establish
02:43:04audit procedures at the air
02:43:09capital. Pope Leo XIV
02:43:12announced this
02:43:14Sunday that he will undergo surgery in the coming
02:43:18days to remove a lung nodule detected
02:43:21in an early stage.
02:43:24From the window
02:43:26of the Apostolic Palace, the Pontiff
02:43:29announced the news to the crowd gathered in St.
02:43:32Peter's Square after praying the Angelus. He explained
02:43:36that during routine medical check-ups,
02:43:40specialists diagnosed him with the condition, so they
02:43:43decided to perform the surgical removal
02:43:46in the short term. Visibly
02:43:49calm before the crowd, the Pontiff
02:43:53thanked them for their spiritual closeness
02:43:57and asked them to accompany him with their
02:44:01prayers during the medical process. Ecclesiastical
02:44:05authorities have not specified
02:44:07the exact date of the procedure, although it is
02:44:11expected to take place in a Rome hospital
02:44:15during the week. The announcement comes
02:44:18amid the official agenda of the Catholic leader, who
02:44:21turned 71 last September
02:44:25after assuming the pontificate
02:44:28in May of last year. The news generated immediate
02:44:31reactions of solidarity worldwide from religious
02:44:34leaders and believers around
02:44:38the world. Vatican authorities are expected to provide more
02:44:41details about the health center in the Italian
02:44:45capital where the procedure will be carried
02:44:49out.

02:49:36by being a mostly flat terrain day
02:49:39and a dynamic format that passed through
02:49:43six municipalities of Aragua state. In this way,
02:49:46and after eight exciting stages that took us through
02:49:49the west and center of the country, the new champion of the
02:49:53national tour is the one born in Bogotá, Colombia,
02:49:56Brandon Rojas from the GWCO team. Hello

02:50:12Nico Gómez who won the stage, it's something incredible for me, for my
02:50:16sports career, for my team, both personally it's
02:50:20something very, very big, very beautiful, to know that there are very
02:50:24good teams here in the UCI in the top 10

02:50:47the staging, the channel, all the press
02:50:51that accompanied us, including you from the beginning,
02:50:54we are really super pleased and well, no,
02:50:57really our hearts swell
02:50:59and demonstrating that without a doubt we have many
02:51:03good things to do for cycling and that in this edition of the
02:51:07Vuelta a Venezuela we are demonstrating it.
02:51:11It was bad to add knowledgeable people from cycling,
02:51:13but additionally we didn't think twice
02:51:16about researching, about seeing images of the
02:51:20Vuelta a España, of the Giro d'Italia, of the Tour de
02:51:25what we could do within the Vuelta a Venezuela and well
02:51:28it was undoubtedly demonstrated that a great job was done,
02:51:32part of that work is what we are seeing here to my
02:51:36left, the printing of the jerseys at the moment as in the
02:51:39grand tours, all the transmission of the
02:51:44a direct transmission on the arrival screen, these are
02:51:47details that were done to give the
02:51:51Vuelta the plus it deserves and well, we surpassed
02:51:54last year's edition and that obviously
02:51:57leaves us a very high bar for the next edition. No, we
02:52:01reached the finish line, the streets return to calm, but the
02:52:05echo of the applause remains engraved in every corner
02:52:08of our geography, the
02:52:12closes an unforgettable chapter with the recognition of the
02:52:15organizers who demonstrated that when you want to, things
02:52:19can be done well, crowning a new champion, a titan
02:52:23who writes his name in the golden pages of national
02:52:27cycling. It has been an honor to bring this feat
02:52:30to your homes, congratulations to the new champion,
02:52:33until next time. This Sunday, the
02:52:36excitement of mountain cycling took over the tracks of
02:52:40La Fuga Bike Park in southern Caracas, with the fourth
02:52:43round of the Central-Western Tour, a day where
02:52:47cyclists from different states of the country measured
02:52:50their power and resistance in a demanding circuit that
02:52:54tested their level.
02:52:56This event brought together athletes from 5 to 60
02:53:00years old who participated in different categories,
02:53:03in order to score points, continue promoting cycling,
02:53:06sports tourism and enjoy, as detailed by its
02:53:09organizers. Today we enjoyed this national event that
02:53:13scored points for the international ranking, all
02:53:17categories have already been disputed,
02:53:20all cyclists
02:53:23eh enjoyed this circuit that was short but very
02:53:26demanding, very technical, this circuit that even allowed
02:53:30the whole family to come and enjoy the Fuga park,
02:53:33certainly today was a celebration for us and
02:53:37for cycling in this country. On this occasion, it was
02:53:41up to those in charge of La Fuga here in Caracas state,
02:53:44in the capital district pardon, where they organize
02:53:48all this in order to ensure that athletes continue to
02:53:51score points throughout the tour, and there is a great winner.
02:53:55These great winners, in turn, are
02:53:58recruited by companies that ultimately provide them with
02:54:01financial support, in spare
02:54:04parts, in registrations. Some winners who stood
02:54:08out this day offered their impressions on the day,
02:54:11highlighting that the demanding circuit helped them to give
02:54:14their best. Well, nerves can never be lacking,
02:54:18but thank God everything went
02:54:22super well today, I felt very happy to have
02:54:25participated, since I am
02:54:28the one who wears, let's say,
02:54:31the crown in my category. The truth is that the
02:54:34circuit was quite fast, a very explosive circuit,
02:54:38the weather was very favorable, which, well, suddenly we were
02:54:42able to take advantage of it and we got an excellent result,
02:54:45which was first place in the category, a really
02:54:48demanding circuit that the
02:54:51goal was to complete without any setbacks
02:54:55and it was achieved. I am leading the master B
02:54:59category and thank God today I achieved
02:55:03first place. Good organization,
02:55:06excellent, really, the TCO, incredible. After
02:55:10finishing the competition, it was reported that other
02:55:13circuits will soon be held in different popular
02:55:17areas of Caracas, in order to continue promoting
02:55:20sports and training more athletes in this discipline.
