00:00:15all channels of communication for us, and this
00:00:16alliance was launched and continued even with
00:00:26correct answer number of cooperation today for this
00:00:31the Crown Prince and His Majesty the King trust 9441 on the
00:00:49in its sessions, very fruitful has arrived for the first time in
00:01:55and for you. Have a successful,
00:01:57During this time, both blessed, and sweet start to the week for all of you.
00:02:00We start with you with the program 962 and we open
00:02:03files that are brought together by a basic idea, which is how sound
00:02:08and also wanting to do another on how to deal with this can be transformed into an impact. And from the youth who want
00:02:11And dreams formed from to have a role in decision-making, voices shed
00:02:14light on issues from our daily lives, which
00:02:18are very important, and this
00:02:21sea levels have many applications in is really very distinctive. We start
00:02:22of the Kingdom, and the results today with an experience that tries to open the door for youth
00:02:25participation in parliamentary work, and for youth participation
00:02:28today to be effective,
00:02:30there must be a way to convey their ideas, their proposals,
00:02:34and even their opinions to the concerned
00:02:38is encouraging is born from passion. authorities, and this is the role that the Parliamentary Alliance for Youth is trying to play today.
00:02:41Today we will learn more about them and about
00:02:44its working mechanism with our guest today, Sultan Al-Khalayleh, President
00:02:47of Sanad Association for Youth Thought and Action and the General Coordinator
00:02:51of the Parliamentary Alliance for Youth.
00:02:54Youth participation is not limited to institutions and decision-making;
00:02:57sometimes, it starts from a problem
00:03:00we see around us
00:03:03to live and sail on this and decide to talk about. This is exactly what student Rafif Al-Momani from
00:03:07Habiba Elementary School in Al-Bayader did when she documented in a video
00:03:10her observations about her school's surroundings, from accumulated waste
00:03:13to the readiness of the place, and she sent her message to the concerned authorities.
00:03:18and we continue with our second guest, Her experience makes us talk about the importance of listening to students' voices
00:03:22and dealing with the observations they raise,
00:03:25Not just tourists. I am one of
00:03:25focus there needs to be on and indeed, this is what we are seeing
00:03:28is no escape from having an impact and happening on the ground.
00:03:30club, I used to Today, awareness starts from a young age, and if we raise it in our generation, our students,
00:03:33and our children, we will create responsible youth who care about
00:03:39glass, so I decided to film this their country and love it. Since media today is an essential part of
00:03:42of Amman to fix this conveying people's voices and keeping pace with changes, let's follow with you the most important
00:03:45stations of the first day of the Media and Communication Future
00:03:49were surprised that at this Forum, within the segment "What happened?" Let's follow together,
00:03:55swimming at let's go. people and that you would be able to make
00:03:58that are also effectively moving with Thank you to everyone who watched us from
00:04:06so they might sometimes take
00:04:16and Rafif, through this Under the title "The Future of Media engage with MPs, with parties, with and Communication: A Changing World,"
00:04:19the activities of the Media and Communication Future Forum kicked off today
00:04:22in its fourth session, organized by the Center for the Protection
00:04:25pleasant discussion with you and Freedom of Journalists, with the participation of a group of journalists. What
00:04:27does the first day of this forum hold? Let's
00:04:31suggestions from youth were presented
00:04:36Throughout the first day, discussions varied around the changes that
00:04:39media is experiencing with technological development and the impact of artificial intelligence
00:04:43flavor and taste from the heart.
00:04:43and also sees and algorithms on news production and how it reaches
00:04:46the public, and the challenges that journalists face in maintaining
00:04:50the governorates contacted content credibility and combating misleading news.
00:04:53The sessions discussed issues that directly concern journalists.
00:04:58channels and mechanisms of communication with directly.
00:05:03from the 19th Parliament, not from this It's the reality, meaning it's a continuation of all
00:05:06the beginnings that are happening today, whether it's traditional media
00:05:10or satellite or digital, whatever you want to call it. It is media,
00:05:13ultimately media, but the means and the way we use it to transmit
00:05:17information from
00:05:20and the intermediary in the middle
00:05:23are all the same, but there is more freedom
00:05:27and more control now. Before,
00:05:30the recipient used to monitor
00:05:34and follow the medium, but now the medium comes
00:05:37to them. Media has changed a bit. The Future of Media
00:05:41and Communication Forum in its fourth edition might be
00:05:44one of the largest forums that tries to answer the question
00:05:48"What is the future of media? What are the challenges? Where are
00:05:51we going?" The forum has 34 sessions,
00:05:5530 sessions in three tracks. The Future of Media
00:05:58and Communication Forum was,
00:06:02in the content it presents, in digital media, and clarifying the role
00:06:05of the journalist and where specialized journalism and the digital
00:06:09journalist are heading, and the tools of artificial intelligence. Or super
00:06:13intelligence, and its role
00:06:15in empowering journalists more. This is my first participation
00:06:19in this forum, and I am truly amazed, meaning
00:06:22the amount of diversity among the guests. I expected there to be only
00:06:26media professionals, but in the program there are media professionals specialized in tourism,
00:06:29in digital economy, in everything that revolves
00:06:32around media, and therefore we are still
00:06:36on the first day, actually, of this forum, and the outcomes
00:06:39so far are excellent, and the discussion is excellent. This is an opportunity
00:06:43to network efforts and exchange
00:06:46experiences
00:06:48and also networking on what we can
00:06:52do in terms of bilateral or
00:06:57Arab media and
00:06:59to exchange these visions, ideas,
00:07:02and experiences, especially the rich
00:07:06Arab countries, where our media professionals were involved in
00:07:09establishing and managing a number of stations.
00:07:13Media. This discussion is a big discussion, especially in the Arab world,
00:07:17and it differs from one country to
00:07:20issue, but there is one common thing, which is that
00:07:23in every country there must be cooperation between
00:07:26the state and the associations that
00:07:29deal with this matter and the journalist who is exposed
00:07:33to this digital violence, meaning documentation is necessary in this
00:07:37field, and cooperation in order for there to be
00:07:41a case in this field. Thanks.
00:08:05Our colleague Dalia Al-Zayoud, always creative and brilliant,
00:08:08and indeed, we see the importance of these media forums, which
00:08:12bring together experts and specialists at one
00:08:16table, providing space for exchanging experiences and discussing
00:08:19challenges, and most importantly, they help in coming up
00:08:22with ideas and visions that keep pace with the rapid changes in the media
00:08:25and communication sector, which we are actually seeing now on the ground,
00:08:29and contribute to developing the profession and preparing
00:08:33for its future. And Kamal, we are indeed seeing how much
00:08:38media more and more, and we are seeing
00:08:41that in Jordan there is a spotlight on
00:08:45the issue of media and youth also in media, which is very important,
00:08:49and this is something that we are actually very happy and proud of when
00:08:52we find how many young people are developing in the field of media
00:08:56and how much this is benefiting their interests, their ideas,
00:08:59and honing their skills. And from developing media
00:09:02to expanding participation, today we move
00:09:06to the role of youth in decision-making, which is the most important,
00:09:09and how we can provide them with real channels today through which
00:09:13they can convey their ideas, through which they can convey their ideas and proposals
00:09:16to the concerned authorities. To talk more about this experience, the experience
00:09:20of the Parliamentary Alliance for Youth and its working mechanism,
00:09:23we are pleased to welcome our guest today, Sultan Al-Khalayleh, President of
00:09:27Sanad Association for Youth Thought and Action and the General Coordinator
00:09:30of the Parliamentary Alliance for Youth. Welcome, you have honored and enlightened
00:09:34us in the 962 studios. My dear brother Kamal
00:09:37and Professor Hanin, I am happy to be with you today. Good evening
00:09:41to you, dear viewers, and good evening to our homeland and our leadership, God willing.
00:09:44Welcome, Sultan. Today we are truly happy
00:09:47to have you with us and how much you always focus on
00:09:51the issue of youth. Today we want to talk about what the Parliamentary
00:09:54Alliance for Youth is. Maybe not all people know
00:09:58about it. We want to talk in more detail about what the
00:10:02Parliamentary Alliance for Youth is and where its idea came from. Today,
00:10:05the idea of the Parliamentary Alliance for Youth came from the existence of
00:10:11youth through the House of Representatives, and it also started
00:10:16Parliament, about four years ago, and almost
00:10:20it was in the hall of Akef Al-Fayez in the House of Representatives
00:10:23with great and fruitful cooperation, honestly, with
00:10:27the parliamentary Youth and Sports Committee, to whom we also extend our greetings for also
00:10:31embracing this alliance since the 19th Parliament, and to the MP who was
00:10:34the head of the committee, Muhammad Yahya Al-Maharmeh, who also gave his full attention and opened
00:10:41the 20th Parliament. Of course, also with important
00:10:45efforts from the General Secretariat of the House of Representatives, honestly, which provided all means
00:10:50alliance to succeed, whose foundation was built on the issue of how youth
00:10:53present ideas today.
00:11:04between the MPs, especially if we talk today about if the MP spoke about
00:11:08using their oversight tools today, if the MP also spoke
00:11:11in the vote of confidence in the government, in the budget speech in the 19th Parliament, we had,
00:11:15because it was the beginning of the alliance, there was a great
00:11:20the MPs, and they presented proposals that were submitted by
00:11:23the alliance, and also received
00:11:27particular Parliament also has about 28 to 30
00:11:31MPs under the age of 40, so today we are talking about a large
00:11:34number of MPs today who are also close to the age of youth,
00:11:37and therefore you can talk today about a large group of MPs who can
00:11:41listen to them today. This communication gives them more confidence,
00:11:44Sultan, to present their ideas, and that their ideas
00:11:48are being heard and at the same time are being implemented. So how much
00:11:52this gives youth more motivation to present
00:11:55today. This is very important today. Today, when a young man is in a meeting with a specific committee
00:11:58in the House of Representatives or with a number of MPs, if there is
00:12:02a specific issue, whether for universities or sometimes today on the topic
00:12:05of culture, on the topic of art and drama and other topics that were raised
00:12:09through the Parliamentary Alliance for Youth, which I am honored to thank
00:12:13my colleagues for allowing me to be a coordinator. There are those who are better
00:12:16than me, but today they gave me this opportunity to represent them, meaning
00:12:19all thanks to them through your screen today, to whom I extend all my greetings. There are
00:12:23also unknown soldiers sometimes in a certain role, which is very important, honestly,
00:12:27through networking between the MPs and the youth and raising
00:12:30issues, especially in the past period, we raised many issues that concerned universities, honestly,
00:12:33and there was a response. There was also a response from university presidents.
00:12:37Proposals were submitted through the Youth and Sports Committee, and honestly,
00:12:41today, the opportunity that was available to you in the alliance is a very
00:12:44important opportunity. We are building on it today. We take
00:12:47the negatives and try to avoid them. We develop the positives, and these
00:12:51details today for youth are becoming more direct.
00:12:55Okay, Sultan, today we are learning about the idea of the alliance, but we want to bring it closer
00:12:59to the public's eyes, our eyes and the eyes of the viewers. Let's watch
00:13:02this video about the alliance together and then come back to continue our meeting with Sultan.
00:13:43And we are definitely continuing with you, Sultan. Sultan, today, what
00:13:47makes the alliance different from the other traditional sessions and dialogues
00:13:50that we know happen among young people? What does it offer
00:13:54to young people? And what are the spaces that
00:13:56distinguish it from these other dialogues and meetings? Perhaps, my brother Kamal,
00:13:59the idea of the alliance, what distinguishes it a little today, is that it brings together more than one current
00:14:03or political orientation for youth under this umbrella, whether in parties
00:14:07or civil society organizations. This idea was, honestly, taking a more positive
00:14:11side than more than a specific initiative. Today,
00:14:14we are looking at a positive youth party movement
00:14:17that is important. Today, there are parliamentary blocs in the House of Representatives, five parliamentary blocs
00:14:23youth. But sometimes, there are some independent
00:14:26youth. There are some youth today who might be looking for a party vision,
00:14:31the alliance as a new path through which they can
00:14:36parliamentary blocs, and then decide where they want to go in the issue of the system.
00:14:40If we talk about parties, or there are also party youth today who wish
00:14:44to be more broadly involved through their colleagues in other parties
00:14:48or with other visions. This alliance, therefore, set these
00:14:51broader criteria. Honestly, I am happy that many
00:14:56and discussed under the dome of Parliament and were also submitted
00:15:00to the government through the vote of confidence and were implemented. And when
00:15:04there were some today, also, my brother Kamal and Professor Haneen,
00:15:07social media helped us greatly, honestly, social media helped us greatly.
00:15:11Today, some individuals from
00:15:15the alliance through our channels that were available via social
00:15:18media, so it helped us today. Perhaps someone might face hardship or a problem if they want
00:15:22to reach Abdali, to the House of Representatives, to possibly get a meeting
00:15:25or something else. So, some issues were raised. Some matters
00:15:28that are general issues were also raised through
00:15:32the alliance, and honestly, there is a great response, honestly, from
00:15:35the House of Representatives, through its permanent office, through the Speaker of the House, through
00:15:39the General Secretariat, and also through the heads of the parliamentary committees
00:15:42there. Meaning, honestly, there is acceptance of this idea, and the idea, honestly, today
00:15:46is gaining more popularity, as you mentioned, everyone who
00:15:49hears about it is more or less communicating with us effectively. A few days ago,
00:15:53there was a meeting for the youth of Arab capitals in the House of Representatives, and when the
00:15:57idea was presented, there were also about 13 Arab countries
00:16:00participating in this meeting, and it was frankly striking for these
00:16:04young people today to hear that today there is an alliance, because some
00:16:07people from Arab countries were asking how a young person can actually enter
00:16:11the House of Representatives today. Perhaps we are, honestly, fortunate
00:16:14to have a state of institutions. This state today embraces everyone.
00:16:18The doors of the House of Representatives are open even to everyone, and the youth
00:16:21from some countries were sometimes surprised that today they can go to the door, get
00:16:25a paper permit, enter, and meet the MP they want. These details are
00:16:29perhaps not available, meaning, in some political practices in some
00:16:32countries. Today we are also fortunate as youth that we have youth who are
00:16:35honorable and truly a source of pride. I would like to extend a greeting to them. Sometimes they give
00:16:39a part of their time to present new ideas for this country and for the advancement of this
00:16:43country, for this program that I am happy when I entered "Here Jordan,"
00:16:47you feel today that you are even proud and honored of your homeland,
00:16:50your leadership, and youth like us today who are leading this program
00:16:54and expressing our voice through the screen of television and the first national
00:16:57screen, honestly. So I am very happy also that these positive models that
00:17:01are in front of me also make us proud and we always boast about them. Sultan
00:17:05truly supports youth and is there for youth and listens
00:17:08to youth. You mentioned that under the dome,
00:17:12there were youth ideas that were taken and
00:17:15implemented and heard on the ground.
00:17:19How do you help youth turn their ideas from just being
00:17:23a complaint to being applied on the ground? Today,
00:17:26perhaps some youth listening through the screen today,
00:17:30the last meetings were with youth from the University of Jordan, honestly, we greet them,
00:17:34the Nashama Student Bloc, and they presented many ideas to
00:17:37the Youth and Sports Committee, chaired by MP Mohammed Yahya Al-Maharmeh, and a large
00:17:41part of them were resolved, and coordination was done for them with some ministers regarding some
00:17:45issues. Today, the recent Local Administration Law, the alliance held
00:17:48important dialogues, especially through Sanad Association, and thanks to
00:17:52King Abdullah Fund, it also provided important support regarding
00:17:55these dialogues we held in the major governorates and regions
00:18:00of those dialogues were submitted through youth proposals
00:18:03to the MPs, and were also presented through committee meetings
00:18:07and also under the dome in their discussion of the Local Administration
00:18:11Law. I mean, any young person can come and present their idea. If there is
00:18:15an MP or a specific committee specialized in this proposal, a meeting is coordinated for them
00:18:19with this committee, and their ideas are presented, whether through the MP's
00:18:22tools available today in the House of Representatives, or if
00:18:26we are approaching today a budget speech, some MPs also
00:18:29spoke in the budget speech about joy. You said a word
00:18:33that truly made me proud that we are in a country
00:18:36that motivates youth and royal visions always support
00:18:40youth and refine their skills and invest
00:18:42in them. Sultan, you had an experience of being part of the Royal
00:18:46Committee for Political Modernization, and I would like you to tell
00:18:50us more about your experience in it and how much you learned
00:18:53from it, how much it benefited you, and how much it reflected on your
00:18:56youth work and today with youth and political work in general.
00:19:00Today, this experience is perhaps one of the most important experiences, honestly, for me as Sultan Al-Khalayleh
00:19:04that I have gone through during my past journey. It was, of course, to
00:19:07be among the people chosen by His Majesty the King to be part of the Royal Committee
00:19:11for Political System Modernization, and I was also honored by the trust of my colleagues to
00:19:14be a rapporteur in the Youth Empowerment Committee, and this also allowed me to be
00:19:18a member of the Executive Office of the Committee, and I used to convey
00:19:21the discussions and meetings of the youth. I held more than 200
00:19:25or 300 meetings in various parts of the Kingdom.
00:19:29All the ideas of the youth were conveyed in the discussions that
00:19:32took place at the Royal Hashemite Court. Today, the royal visions
00:19:35also included a number of young people, to whom I also extend my greetings to my colleagues who were in the committee,
00:19:39and this was new and a burden on us today. Are we going to be
00:19:43in this royal committee, which includes a prime minister, former ministers,
00:19:47and dignitaries, and these officials, and this number of leaders
00:19:50of political parties today, will we be present as decoration or will we present
00:19:54ideas? But thank God, my youth colleagues and I who were in the royal committee won
00:19:58the bet and presented a good positive model. It's not us
00:20:01today who can talk about it, but those who lived with us and accompanied us in the committee today
00:20:05talk about this experience with distinction. Thank God, we presented ideas
00:20:09and we sought permission from His Majesty the King to also add to the laws that were passed
00:20:13a policy paper that also helps, and we today have a problem with the issue of practices
00:20:16sometimes more than the issue of laws, so a policy paper was submitted
00:20:20to the ministries and the institutions working with youth
00:20:23with youth ideas and proposals also to develop the process
00:20:27of political modernization, especially on the issue of youth and their practices
00:20:30today on the ground. I was also honored today that
00:20:33we were in this committee, meaning we were honored with a meeting with His Royal Highness
00:20:37Crown Prince Hussein. It was, honestly, a surprise visit.
00:20:41Yes, Prince Hussein entered the meeting and said that today he hears that you meet every day for
00:20:45three or four hours. Today I want to be with you for part of these meetings
00:20:48and we talked. With complete transparency and honesty, what we heard
00:20:52from the youth in the street and in the meetings, we talked about it in front of
00:20:56the Crown Prince, and his ears were attentive, and he said that
00:21:00what you want to present in laws and policy papers is the pulse
00:21:03of the street, and this is what we presented today. The burden is on us, as youth,
00:21:07to present this vision in the matter of being up to the responsibility
00:21:10and how much we have taken this trust and this
00:21:13responsibility today and are up to it, because how much it gives
00:21:17confidence. And today, when we find that His Royal Highness
00:21:21in youth, then we must have this responsibility. It has placed a very great responsibility on us,
00:21:25and God willing, we will be up to this responsibility. Sultan, I will move with you now to a segment called
00:21:29"In a Nutshell." These will be quick questions, and the answer
00:21:33should be concise and useful. Ready? Ready, let's go, in a nutshell.
00:21:51Sultan, can any Jordanian youth today convey their idea
00:21:54to the alliance? Yes.
00:21:57Does a young person need to have political experience to
00:22:01participate? Yes, that's right. They must have experience. What is the most important
00:22:04thing that a youth proposal must have to be implementable?
00:22:08It must be feasible and
00:22:11available today through constitutional channels. Is
00:22:15youth participation limited to Amman, or does it include
00:22:19the governorates?
00:22:23youth proposals for MPs? Yes, that's right. They were applied and implemented,
00:22:26and the government adopted these proposals and applied them
00:22:30on the ground. Mashallah. So how do you know if youth
00:22:33proposals have made a real difference? We have a committee
00:22:37specialized in monitoring
00:22:41the concerned ministry or body. Yes. What is the biggest challenge faced
00:22:45by young people who want to participate in political work? Today's
00:22:48aspect that we talk about, conviction. Their conviction
00:22:51in programs. Their conviction today that this party will provide them with a qualitative
00:22:55addition. Yes. If you wanted to send a final message to the youth
00:22:59who are now watching the program 962 and have an idea
00:23:02and hope to see this idea implemented on the
00:23:05ground, what would you say to them? I'm probably happy with the sound of the music,
00:23:09honestly, giving me more senses. Today,
00:23:13I give advice, and I also give myself advice today, that
00:23:15without negative energy sometimes
00:23:18surrounding everyone today, I agree that there are
00:23:22some negatives, but today we can, I mean, present ideas,
00:23:25we can make it a part of it. We, perhaps, from the beginning when we established
00:23:29Sanad, honestly, our slogan was to sometimes be the pebble that
00:23:33supports the pot. So if today we presented something simple, we might
00:23:36be able to help hand in hand to be able to offer something to this
00:23:40country that we all love and want to always be strong and impregnable,
00:23:43and secure, of course, under its Hashemite leadership. And of course, the most important advice
00:23:47today is to try and experiment. You might fail once, you might not have
00:23:50the space fully available to you, but in the end, God willing, you will
00:23:54reach a result. That's right, Sultan Al-Khalayleh, President of Sanad Association
00:23:58for Youth Thought and Action and the General Coordinator
00:24:00of the Parliamentary Alliance for Youth, thank you for being with us.
00:24:04I mean, how much do we as youth
00:24:07need a youth model today that can reflect energy
00:24:11and give them hope, and you actually said a very beautiful sentence
00:24:15that today, any young person, any step you take and fail in,
00:24:19is not the end, honestly.
00:24:33You give us
00:24:35positive motivation for everyone. And I thank my colleagues, of course, from Sanad Youth Thought
00:24:38Association, who gave me the opportunity, and the Alliance, and everyone who believed in our idea,
00:24:42and every official or even every human being today
00:24:45who tried to help us to be, God willing, a support for this nation and a support
00:24:49for its leadership, God willing.
00:28:26to convey her observation through a video and talk about a problem
00:28:30that concerns her and other students.
00:28:32It is the reality of her school's surroundings in Al-Bayader area. With us is
00:28:36Rafif Al-Momani, a student at Habiba Elementary School.
00:28:39Rafif, welcome. You have honored us. Welcome.
00:28:43Thank you for the invitation. I mean,
00:28:46mashallah, how cute. May God protect you, Rafif.
00:28:50We are happy to have you with us today on the program 962, and we are happy
00:28:53to know more about this video. How did the idea come to you, and what was
00:28:57the idea, and what came to your mind? That's right.
00:29:00First, Rafif, tell us more about yourself. What grade are you in? How old
00:29:03are you? How did you start with this topic?
00:29:07My name is Rafif Issa Al-Momani from Habiba
00:29:10Elementary School for Girls, seventh grade. Seventh
00:29:13grade. Come on, you're almost there. A few years and you'll finish school. Not much
00:29:17left. Okay, Rafif, we want to continue our discussion
00:29:20with you, but I want to ask her a question.
00:29:24Ask, of course. How did you think of filming this video?
00:29:28It came to my mind because I was enrolled in the summer club. This summer
00:29:32go to school, and I didn't care that there was no path for students
00:29:36to walk on. Instead, there were trash cans and broken
00:29:41video and send it to the Mayor
00:29:44issue. Oh my goodness. You see how much we always talk
00:29:47about how many things, when we teach them
00:29:50to our children and students, increase their awareness
00:29:54and give them today a leadership spirit
00:29:57and the ability to make the right decision. So, Rafif, what made you
00:30:01think of filming and making a change, even though there might be other
00:30:04students and other people who passed through this place
00:30:08and didn't pay attention? What made you decide to
00:30:12I'll film and send it, and I want to change what made me do it.
00:30:15We only had two ways, the waste path, which was garbage containers, or the street, which you
00:30:19know is dangerous. So we had to fix this path so that
00:30:22students could pass through it. Yes, great. So Rafif, we will continue this
00:30:27and learn more and more details. And we also want to know the opinion
00:30:31of the students who are with you at school. But we
00:30:35will go for a short break and then come back. Stay with us.
00:34:30And again, good evening to you all,
00:34:33the student Rafif Al-Mumani, who today
00:34:36was able to make a simple change
00:34:39and was able to make a difference today. And today the idea
00:34:42through this topic is that she had passion and will
00:34:46and was able to convey a positive idea. Rafif,
00:34:48we want to ask you the tough question: What was
00:34:52the reaction of the school, the principal, the teachers,
00:34:55and your friends, the students, after this idea and video
00:34:58were implemented or applied on the ground? They
00:35:04age we can change many things, and they
00:35:07were very happy for me. And what did they tell you? They told me, "Bravo,
00:35:10and keep going." And your friends,
00:35:14like you? My friend Rafif, oh, they wanted to do what you said.
00:35:18Did they suggest ideas, for example? Oh,
00:35:21yes, my friend suggested to me that we should fix the school and
00:35:25things like that, you know, normal things. Okay, great that now there might be more
00:35:31video, new ideas and new suggestions will emerge
00:35:34and become more widespread. I mean, it's not just about the school, but around
00:35:38the school. I just want to say that we're going to watch the video, but before we go and watch
00:35:41the video, off-air I asked you, I told you, "How do you feel?"
00:35:48This word is very beautiful, especially when we hear it from
00:35:51someone who is still a student at a young age, feeling
00:35:54the meaning of pride. How much today has this responsibility affected
00:35:58her? What does pride mean to you? Why did I feel proud? Because I'm
00:36:02on live air. No other girl
00:36:05has been on the air on a radio station. Wow.
00:36:08Okay, we'll continue this discussion with you. We want to
00:36:12go and watch this video and come back.
00:36:51Come and see how they prepared the sidewalk for the start of the new academic year.
00:36:54In this area,
00:37:01the garbage containers were renewed,
00:37:04and the trees were also trimmed. I thank His Excellency the Mayor of Amman.
00:37:07Thank you
00:37:09very much.
00:37:17First of all, may God bless you, Rafif, and indeed the
00:37:20change happened when we saw before and after. Rafif, I want you to tell me
00:37:23how your family reacted and how they dealt with the matter. Did they help?
00:37:28How did you start with the step until we saw this change that happened
00:37:32today? My family encouraged me to do this and told me to continue
00:37:35with it, and they were very happy for me. Who was filming you?
00:37:39Who was helping you? Who was doing these details? My dad bought equipment, and my mom
00:37:43filmed me, and my dad told me what to say. Good. So
00:37:46they helped you convey the message in the right
00:37:49way. So Rafif, we said this video was the beginning.
00:37:53Hmm. What's the next step? What do you want to change, or what do you
00:37:57see now around the school? It's like we're saying that
00:38:01your focus is on the school and its surroundings. What is there
00:38:03that you want to change there? There are many things I want to change, but I'll tell
00:38:07you one thing: the winches. But why are they there? Because they are in front of the school,
00:38:11and they hinder the movement of students and parents. They are parked, and they stay parked.
00:38:15No, by God, you're right, it's annoying.
00:38:18This, I mean, how wonderful is the idea
00:39:15traditional question, but I really want to know the answer. What do you want
00:39:17to be when you grow up? Please. I want to be a broadcaster.
00:39:21Oh, God. I mean, we'll reserve a place for you.
00:39:24Oh, okay. I mean, just talk to us,
00:39:28and we'll help you, don't worry. Maybe we'll teach you the basics
00:39:32little by little, and God willing, you'll be the best broadcaster, Rafif. Okay, listen, we want to
00:39:35move on with you now to a segment called "Brief and Useful." These are quick questions
00:39:38and quick answers. Ready? Ready? Let's go. Brief and useful.
00:39:53Rafif, do you love your school, and what do you
00:39:56love most about it? I love my school.
00:39:59I love my teachers, my friends, and my education. Wow.
00:40:03We want to send them a big greeting. Thank you, my teacher.
00:40:06Thank you, Dr. Sitta. They're watching you now, right?
00:40:09Okay, who encouraged you to film the video?
00:40:12My mom and dad encouraged me. May God bless them for you, Lord. Okay, Rafif, were
00:40:16you expecting your video to reach
00:40:19this change? Honestly, yes, because I know myself, and I'm proud of myself,
00:40:23and I know that I will get this video to His Excellency the Mayor of Amman.
00:40:27And the best thing, Rafif, is that this confidence always remains with you, because when a person
00:40:31has confidence, he achieves what he wants. What is the first change
00:40:34you wish to see? A change
00:40:37in my school. Hmm. Cleanliness
00:40:41and commitment. Yes. Okay, if you were to describe your school
00:40:44in one word, what would you choose to describe it as? Beautiful. God
00:40:48bless you. God bless you, Rafif
00:40:51Al-Mumani. Thank you for being with us today on the program
00:40:54962 and all our support for you.
00:41:00You honored us, you honored us, and God willing, may He grant you success and help you achieve your dream
00:41:03and be able to make more and more change, you and all
00:41:07your generation, God willing. Thank you all, thank you. Let's go to
00:41:10arts. Come on, let's go together and see what
00:41:14arts we have today. Let's go, let's go.
00:48:08a sheikh, O sheikh.
00:48:10You scold him, and his father is a sheikh, and his maternal uncle is a sheikh, and you allow
00:48:14a lowlife like her to stay. And tomorrow, you'll hear the Arabs
00:48:17say that the boy
00:48:20resembles his maternal uncle.
