00:00:19Good afternoon, dear viewers, you are watching N1
00:00:21info.
00:00:26BiH carriers are seeking an urgent solution to the issue of drivers' stay in
00:00:30European countries and облегчающие for domestic
00:00:32companies.
00:00:36The formation of a new government in Serbia has been postponed due to repeated voting
00:00:39at certain polling stations. The student list is demanding immediate
00:00:42resignations of a number of high-ranking officials. Vučić denies that he
00:00:46planned a coup d'état on election
00:00:48night.
00:00:51In Spain, three days of mourning, after a train accident in which
00:00:5469 people died, rescuers are searching destroyed
00:00:58carriages.
00:01:03The departure of transport capacities from Bosnia and Herzegovina could
00:01:07lead to an increase in transport costs, and thus living
00:01:10costs, warned the Minister of Communications and Transport of Bosnia and
00:01:14Herzegovina Edin Forto, after the meeting of the working group
00:01:17on carriers' problems, the representative of the logistics consortium
00:01:21of Bosnia and Herzegovina Zijad Šarić requested an urgent
00:01:24solution to the issue of drivers' stay in European countries and
00:01:28facilitation for domestic companies.
00:01:32The special visa program established by the Republic of Croatia, which we all
00:01:35welcomed together, is just coming to life and we will
00:01:39only see its effects. It is estimated that between 10
00:01:42and 15% of relief will be experienced by transport
00:01:46companies when this program is fully
00:01:50to send a request to the Ministry What is the problem
00:01:53is that what is observed on
00:01:57the ground and what the consortium told us today.
00:02:00is the fact that in the last period, given that
00:02:04some time has already passed since the new border control system was
00:02:07established, that a large number of our
00:02:11companies and companies, as well as
00:02:13drivers, are leaving Bosnia and Herzegovina. Our initiative today
00:02:17was particularly in that part to
00:02:20initiate a subsidy when it comes to
00:02:24fuel relief, so that through the
00:02:27Ministry of our
00:02:32of Finance and Treasury
00:02:35to introduce fuel
00:02:38relief.

00:02:48Council of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Kreho has served as acting President of the Court of

00:03:02her work program to Vestv, she said that her goal
00:03:05is to increase efficiency in cases of organized crime and
00:03:09corruption and pointed out the problem of the non-existence of an agency for
00:03:12managing confiscated property. From the HJPC of Bosnia and Herzegovina, it was
00:03:17more strongly in announced that when making decisions they took into account professional
00:03:20knowledge, work experience, previous career results and
00:03:23professional impartiality, reputation and ability
00:03:26to responsibly perform judicial functions. Students in blockade and representatives
00:03:34of the student list in Serbia demanded immediate resignations of a number of high-ranking
00:03:38officials, police, judiciary, state institutions, public
00:03:41enterprises and announced the first steps they intend to take
00:03:44after the election victory. They called on employees of state institutions
00:03:48to report the destruction of documentation and possible abuses
00:03:51by the outgoing government during the transitional period.
00:03:55They said that numerous whistleblowers had already contacted them,
00:03:59including, as they claim, current and former ministers. The formation of a new government

00:05:48lawfully, impartially and urgently take
00:05:51action in cases that have attracted great attention and
00:05:55public concern and that they immediately inform
00:05:58the public, especially in cases of the Higher Public Prosecutor's Office in
00:06:02Belgrade in relation to which it is necessary to consider the need

00:06:54night. He also denied media reports that he gave up the alleged plan
00:06:58only after a call from
00:07:00abroad.
00:07:03Let me tell you, I had a meeting as
00:07:06the leader of the United Serbia list
00:07:08with all uh police
00:07:12chiefs and told them, if
00:07:15we lose the elections, I will admit defeat
00:07:17immediately,
00:07:22immediately I will admit defeat, if
00:07:25we win, I will not allow anyone to steal that victory,
00:07:29that was all, then I first spoke to a
00:07:33foreigner after my decision somewhere around
00:07:3511:15,
00:07:38so you know that, then Viktor Orban called me.
00:07:42then we spoke in the morning,
00:07:45I spoke after everything
00:07:48friends and two days later with Antonio
00:07:52Costa, just to see what kind of liars we are talking about, because
00:07:56they start from themselves, they know for themselves that they receive orders from abroad, so
00:07:59they start from the assumption that I am the same as them, I have never received
00:08:03orders from abroad, nor will I.
00:08:06In
00:08:11Spain, it's three days. Unfortunately, after a train accident in which 69 people

00:08:18searched the crushed carriages all night. Drones with
00:08:22thermal imaging cameras, helicopters and
00:08:25search dog units are being used in the operation. The cause of the accident is being investigated, in which
00:08:29a high-speed train on the Madrid-Seville route hit
00:08:32a stopped train of a private carrier. According to available
00:08:35information, the control center in Madrid allowed the train to continue
00:08:39without speed restrictions. Audio recordings of conversations
00:08:42between the dispatcher and the engineer indicate possible omissions in
00:08:45communication. Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez said that the whole
00:08:49country is mourning and promised that responsibility will be established.
00:08:52About 1.5 people protested last night in front of the Ministry of Transport
00:08:56in Madrid. They clashed with the police, who used
00:09:00tear gas, while a minute of silence was held across
00:09:03the country for
00:09:04the victims.
00:09:12from the small municipality to the government of
00:09:15Spain, we are working day and night to, uh, not
00:09:18only provide a response to the victims' families, but of course
00:09:22also to clarify every last detail of this
00:09:25tragedy and, of course, to reinforce security so that this does not happen
00:09:29again. The entire state is focused on the
00:09:33response, in a triple aspect, firstly
00:09:36in, in, in responding to the emergency, to this
00:09:40human tragedy, uh to, uh.
00:09:43unfortunately recover the bodies
00:09:45that, uh, that have resulted from this
00:09:48fatality, from this catastrophe, and of course
00:09:51also in their identification, in the affiliation of the
00:09:55injured people, in their medical
00:09:57assistance, secondly uh the
00:10:01knowledge and clarification of what were the causes
00:10:04that led to this terrible
00:10:07railway accident, uh, and
00:10:11finally, uh, it will be a later point.
00:10:14in what is, uh, the compensation, at least from a material
00:10:18point of view, uh, that the general state administration
00:10:21gives to the victims' families of this terrible
00:10:25At least 14 people were killed, 10 were injured in a
00:10:29Russian drone attack on a railway station in Dnipro. According to the
00:10:32National Railway Operator, the drone
00:10:35hit a platform where a train operating on the
00:10:39Dnipro Zaporizhzhia route was located, as well as one suburban
00:10:42train. Medical assistance is being provided to the injured. At the same time,
00:10:46it was announced that representatives of Russia, Ukraine and the United States
00:10:49should continue negotiations on ending the war in
00:10:53Abu Dhabi after November 4. Russian presidential aide
00:10:56Yuri Ushakov stated that the continuation of talks was agreed without
00:11:00European representatives, while Zelensky expressed hope that the meeting would take place
00:11:04in the first half of
00:11:05November.
00:11:08After more than 96 percent of votes counted in the parliamentary
00:11:12elections in Israel, no political bloc has the necessary majority
00:11:16of 61 seats to form
00:11:19a government. According to preliminary results from the Central
00:11:22Election Commission, the opposition bloc gathered around.
00:11:25Aisonkot won 48 seats, while Prime Minister
00:11:29Benjamin Netanyahu's bloc has 53. Arab
00:11:33parties achieved a historic result, winning 19
00:11:36seats in the Knesset, thus preventing the current prime minister from achieving
00:11:40a majority. After Netanyahu's Likud party
00:11:43accused Arab parties of electoral fraud, the Election Commission
00:11:47rejected these accusations as unfounded. The leader
00:11:50of the joint list said that they are ready to cooperate with the opposition to
00:11:54replace the current one.
00:12:25the results of the elections were determined by
00:12:29one fact, an attempt to ignore the Shabbat of October
00:12:327th, one and a half million
00:12:34or close to one and a half million residents in the state
00:12:38of Israel who
00:12:41went through
00:12:44everything that happened on the Shabbat of October 7th and we thought
00:12:48that all the people of Israel, one by one,
00:12:51whether Jews or Arabs together with us.
00:13:05resignation, leaving office on February 7,
00:13:082027, eight months before her term expires. She
00:13:12informed the bank's Governing Council and the President of the European Council
00:13:15Antonio Costa today of her decision. The former
00:13:19governors of the central banks of the Netherlands and Spain
00:13:22are mentioned as the main candidates for her successor. Her departure in
00:13:26February will allow European Union leaders to appoint a new
00:13:30head before the presidential elections in France. The resignation comes
00:13:33at a sensitive time for the eurozone, hit by inflation
00:13:37and rising energy prices
00:13:38due to the war with
00:13:42I have just informed my fellow policy makers and staff
00:13:46at the European Central Bank that I will be stepping down with effect
00:13:50on February 7th, 2027, after
00:13:53monetary policy governing.
00:13:56It has been a great pride and huge privilege to serve this
00:13:59institution and I want to thank all those who
00:14:03have contributed, supported and
00:14:06delivered on the mission that we have in Europe,
00:14:09be rock, be solid, deliver price stability,
00:14:13financial stability, and I think that I leave this
00:14:16institution with a sense of
00:14:20good work done and an ECB that is fit
00:14:24for the future.
00:14:29Let's also look at the weather forecast.
00:14:33A warm greeting, dear viewers, since this morning clouds have covered most
00:14:37of Bosnia, it is gloomy, occasionally light rain falls,
00:14:40sunnier conditions are in Herzegovina in the southwest of Bosnia. However,
00:14:44unstable weather will continue, namely, humid air will
00:14:47continue to circulate over our regions. Therefore, it will be mostly cloudy
00:14:51and still in Bosnia during the afternoon locally.
00:14:55with rain, especially in its central part, northern
00:14:58areas in Herzegovina remain mostly dry,
00:15:01partly sunny. The wind continues from the north-northeast with weak
00:15:05to moderate intensity, a northwesterly wind blows in the
00:15:08northeast of Bosnia, and temperatures are then in accordance with that,
00:15:11around 20 we expect in the Herzegovina area, from 10 to
00:15:1515 will mostly be the maximum values, that is, in
00:15:19Bosnia. The rest of the week brings a continuation of cloudier conditions,
00:15:22mostly cloudy, with rain. in the mountains and
00:15:25snow.
00:15:28That's all for this news overview. All current events are available on
00:15:32N1info. Thank you for your
00:15:33attention.
00:16:04Our first guest this morning is Nataša Kandić,
00:16:07founder of the Humanitarian Law Fund and
00:16:11civil activist. Good, good morning,
00:16:13Ms. Kandić, good
00:16:15day. Aleksandar Vučić mentioned
00:16:19and called you out again in his address after the election
00:16:23defeat. At the beginning, we will immediately listen to that
00:16:26statement.
00:16:32they will do everything they didn't want to tell you, everything they lied about,
00:16:36because I repeat... "they are just contractors
00:16:40nothing more than that, congratulations to Nataša Kandić, her policy
00:16:43has won, 250, Nataša Kandić has
00:16:47with enormous external support managed to
00:16:50win, I wish them all the best, we will fight."
00:16:53Ms. Kandić, how do
00:16:56you comment on the fact that the former
00:16:59president of the country, at the moment of announcing the results,
00:17:02uses you as a target for the umpteenth time so far?".
00:17:05Did you enjoy
00:17:08his congratulations?
00:17:11Well, one cannot even talk about
00:17:13whether it was pleasant, but why he did it. He,
00:17:17as he repeated in the election
00:17:21campaign, pre-election campaign, uh, he constantly
00:17:24uh, all those who protest,
00:17:27students, citizens and from
00:17:31non-governmental organizations singled me out as the bearer
00:17:34of some uh attitudes
00:17:38that will completely
00:17:40destroy uh Serbia, divert it from
00:17:44the right path, and that was of course always mentioned,
00:17:48first of all, Kosovo, then uh Serbian
00:17:50interests in relation
00:17:54to neighbors, in relation to what will
00:17:58change, how much damage it will cause
00:18:02to all of Serbia. He wanted to show
00:18:04these who are now taking
00:18:08power that they are traitors,
00:18:11and given uh the public's
00:18:13attitude or how the public
00:18:17perceives me or how it perceives the truth about the 90s,
00:18:20it seemed convenient to him to use
00:18:24me as an example to actually show
00:18:28what is coming after his supposedly
00:18:32magnificent rule. That is
00:18:35of course now continuing,
00:18:39so on the one hand, we have events in Belgrade
00:18:42that were unthinkable until two
00:18:45days ago, that murals, graffiti
00:18:48of hatred, graffiti glorifying those who
00:18:51were convicted of genocide and war crimes
00:18:55are being removed. Uh, that people are
00:18:58happy because the city is being cleaned
00:19:02and washed. On the other hand,
00:19:05we have on social
00:19:08networks, that's... "That's, let's say,
00:19:11a propaganda machine that has
00:19:14tripled in its strength, in that spitting,
00:19:17what will happen, and everything that
00:19:21has happened is interpreted as an incident and that in a few
00:19:24days everything returns to normal and gets
00:19:28some new shine, so it all looks
00:19:32like, I would say like
00:19:35like there is also in
00:19:38the membership of the Serbian People's Party great
00:19:42disbelief,
00:19:45uh, belief that everything will be put in order, that they
00:19:48will, uh, again be the ones who
00:19:51will vote, that the shine
00:19:55of, uh, that is, that propaganda
00:19:58shine of Aleksandar Vučić will return
00:20:02as if they are not
00:20:05facing election results, with people
00:20:08on... with that election, let's say,
00:20:12election acknowledgment of defeat,
00:20:16simply, Aleksandar Vučić's message itself
00:20:18becomes not only very
00:20:22disturbing, but the question is what is behind it,
00:20:25he says uh, we
00:20:28start, we do not surrender, we will
00:20:31put Serbia back on the right path, now, that can indeed be
00:20:35a difficult, difficult
00:20:38situation due to defeat, but also
00:20:41it can be interpreted as if there is something
00:20:45behind it that is already happening, like his
00:20:48statement about self-organization, about
00:20:52his, uh, let's say, struggle to
00:20:55keep that informer, tabloid
00:21:00and those others who were the main support in, let's say, in
00:21:03that unprecedented powerful propaganda
00:21:07machine.
00:21:09Yes, we will also talk about what awaits you in the
00:21:12future and what is the possible
00:21:15scenario, especially in the minds
00:21:17of the Progressives these days? Uh, when
00:21:21authoritarian regimes usually fall, the transitional period can be
00:21:24the most dangerous for activists, especially. What are your
00:21:28estimates, how safe are you and other
00:21:32critics of the regime at this moment,
00:21:35given that he, we are not, this
00:21:38is no longer important, now, it seems
00:21:42that it is most important
00:21:45that, let's say, the rage
00:21:47of the Progressives and Aleksandar
00:21:50Vučić and those around him, that they are now focused
00:21:53on the first one on the free list, because
00:21:57all of a sudden, let's say,
00:22:01uh, in Serbia and in the region, some other
00:22:04statements are heard, the 90s are mentioned in some other context
00:22:08when the first one
00:22:11from the free list,
00:22:13Mr. Ilija Stadanović, says
00:22:16uh there are no more statements. There are
00:22:20no more of those 90s, or when
00:22:22he says, different, normal
00:22:26relations with neighbors will be established,
00:22:30European integration will continue,
00:22:33dialogue with Kosovo. These are completely and peacefully,
00:22:37with a normal voice, which are in line in
00:22:40communication with reality, because
00:22:44it was really difficult, uh,
00:22:47difficult, let's say, difficult to live in and
00:22:50watch what was happening, that constantly hostile tone towards
00:22:54neighbors, that is constantly uh, let's say, uh
00:22:57constantly ignoring that is to say completely
00:23:01presenting completely new
00:23:04uh new fabricated data about what
00:23:08happened in the past, completely clear
00:23:11denial of adjudicated facts and
00:23:14suddenly now, let's say, suddenly we see...
00:23:18"someone beautiful, this
00:23:21one clearly sees,
00:23:24sees how much that good relationship with
00:23:27neighbors is needed, uh, sees
00:23:31that everything is stopped, sees that Serbia
00:23:34has become completely isolated, that instead
00:23:38of society, instead of the rule of law, there is
00:23:41only one person who is followed by thousands
00:23:45of those who completely like automatons
00:23:48applaud and vote." They repeat,
00:23:51they spit that language that has been established as
00:23:55some new political
00:23:58language that has taken over society. That is, let's say,
00:24:01suddenly, now we see it on social networks and now we see it
00:24:07tabloids, but we are these, but the
00:24:11question is whether it can really
00:24:14stop or he has the strength to
00:24:17do something again. That will, let's
00:24:21say, block Serbia's started
00:24:23path. It will take us time to get
00:24:27used to everything that has happened, that students and
00:24:30citizens on the streets have brought about this great
00:24:34victory, especially overthrowing a regime that
00:24:37seemed untouchable at one point. How do you, from
00:24:41the perspective of someone who has fought for human rights for decades, view
00:24:44this new generation of young people who have shown that
00:24:48they have the strength and courage to change the history
00:24:51of Serbia?
00:24:54They have achieved something that no generation before
00:24:58uh has been able to, I mean
00:25:00since the year 90s, they
00:25:03have uh with persistence
00:25:07managed to protest for two
00:25:10years without violence,
00:25:14that it be extremely precisely
00:25:17focused on institutions doing their job
00:25:21and leading to elections, to
00:25:24parliamentary elections, and they did that, they did not
00:25:28react to the provocations
00:25:31of Aleksandar Vučić, when he, let's
00:25:34say, tried to lead them to that
00:25:37national, nationalistic level, they
00:25:41remained silent, students
00:25:44uh reacted when it was
00:25:48about marking the NATO bombing
00:25:51of Serbia, the then Federal
00:25:54Republic of Yugoslavia and were
00:25:58in agreement with the data that was presented by
00:26:01institutions. That is, that in NATO attacks several
00:26:05thousand citizens were killed, and mostly
00:26:08Serbs, without mentioning that there were
00:26:11sufferings in Kosovo
00:26:14of Albanians in large numbers. Uh, we,
00:26:18the Humanitarian Law Fund, reacted
00:26:21with precisely established names
00:26:24and numbers behind which there are names, but there was
00:26:27no, let's say, reaction or
00:26:30any, let's say, communication
00:26:33with those numbers or facts that
00:26:36we presented. Simply, these two years passed in such a way
00:26:40that there was a completely clear position
00:26:43of the student student movement,
00:26:47that they would not cooperate with non-governmental
00:26:51organizations, that they did not
00:26:54see that there they did not see students as
00:26:58someone who should establish some communication and
00:27:01cooperation with... non-governmental organizations, and that was the approach to
00:27:05the opposition as well, so that in fact, the position
00:27:09of non-governmental organizations, especially the Humanitarian
00:27:12Law Fund, which exclusively presents
00:27:15facts, whether it is research by the Humanitarian
00:27:18Law Fund or adjudicated facts
00:27:21and clear evidence that has been
00:27:24established in trials in Bosnia and Herzegovina,
00:27:28Serbia, Kosovo or, or this
00:27:31Croatia. that in fact, uh, uh
00:27:34this, uh, that in fact, uh I have
00:27:38to say, uh, there wasn't much of a connection, so
00:27:42we were in a very complicated situation, completely isolated,
00:27:46and uh, that
00:27:49propaganda of Aleksandar Vučić,
00:27:52their tabloids, was maximally
00:27:56focused on slandering
00:27:59not only me, but many people, let's say
00:28:01from the government. It was, even new organizations were created
00:28:05that had that task, so now
00:28:09in this new situation
00:28:12many, many questions are being asked, how
00:28:15will, how will we actually, uh,
00:28:18non-governmental organizations, civil society,
00:28:22continue to work, but in some different, more normal
00:28:26conditions, how will we leave the 90s
00:28:29in the past, but that... the past must be thoroughly
00:28:33examined so that it can be, so the future and
00:28:37the past, the past is
00:28:40connected to the future, how much will we be able to
00:28:44actually existing very
00:28:47this, uh, very , I mean, uh,
00:28:50difficult policies, uh, policies of remembrance that are
00:28:54so firmly created in that one extreme
00:28:58nationalistic tone and has become a new
00:29:00weapon, uh... in relations with others,
00:29:04in relations, let's say, with those 90s,
00:29:08where a new narrative about heroism and
00:29:11the greatest historical victims was created, how
00:29:14will we, how will this change
00:29:17and how much will we,
00:29:21as civil society, the Humanitarian Law Fund,
00:29:24have some support to ensure that we
00:29:28, let's say, influence the
00:29:31changes of those existing official policies and
00:29:35actually find uh a place for adjudicated
00:29:38facts, for evidence, for established
00:29:42facts to be included in those policies
00:29:45of remembrance, then that means in the education system, so
00:29:49there is a very complicated
00:29:52uh time that requires
00:29:56our uh persistence to
00:30:00continue, despite the fact that there will be,
00:30:03let's say, protests
00:30:05regarding what we are presenting, but I
00:30:08believe that gradually over time these
00:30:12facts will actually gain a new
00:30:15strength and change, let's
00:30:18say, reality. Thank you very much for your time for N1,
00:30:21thank you,
00:30:24goodbye.
