00:00:00he announced changes in the leadership of the SNS, but he also spoke about
00:00:03the upcoming presidential elections in Serbia.
00:00:07With this terror they are carrying out in Serbia, they are questioning
00:00:10the entire survival of the political scene. Great, let them be
00:00:14alone, let them work by themselves, let them find
00:00:17two or three satellites who will run the presidential elections
00:00:21with them with one and 2%. In such
00:00:25conditions, it is impossible to do anything.
00:00:27šta.
00:00:30The President of the National Assembly of Slovenia, Zoran Stevanović, rejects
00:00:34accusations that he abused his position in negotiations on the construction
00:00:37of a new Orthodox church in Kranj. In a recording released by
00:00:40Pop TV, he said that thanks to his position,
00:00:44he found a donor for the land for the Orthodox Church in Kranj.
00:00:48As a donor, he mentioned businessman Mladen Milanović
00:00:52from Bosnia and Herzegovina. Ljubljana partly describes
00:00:55Milanović as a businessman from Milorad
00:00:58Dodik's circle.
00:01:01"Even if what you are saying were true, I would say, yes,
00:01:04it is true, I helped people, I arranged a donor, I have no problem with that, but
00:01:08the problem is only that I saw a man at a meeting
00:01:11who said, I am willing
00:01:14to donate to the Orthodox community in
00:01:17Kranj, I know about the problems that are happening in
00:01:20Kranj, I have spoken with the mayor of Kranj several times on
00:01:24this topic, he said that he is aware
00:01:26of the problems that concern the Orthodox community." "in
00:01:30Kranj and that they deserve their sacred
00:01:33building, and I was just someone who
00:01:36attended that meeting, I was just someone who was at that
00:01:40meeting and I welcomed that intention, that was completely
00:01:43everything, a procedure, an
00:01:47auction, an official act regarding this matter does not
00:01:51exist at all, you are ahead
00:01:52of yourself."
00:01:55In Spain, there is a three-day mourning after the train accident in which
00:01:5969 people died, dozens were injured,
00:02:02rescue teams are searching the crushed
00:02:05wagons, drones with thermal imaging cameras
00:02:09are used in the operation, helicopters, units with
00:02:12search dogs. The cause of the accident is being investigated, in which a high-speed
00:02:15train on the Madrid-Seville route crashed
00:02:18into a stopped train of a private
00:02:22as the current government, but maybe in carrier. According to available information, the control center in Madrid allowed the journey to continue
00:02:25without speed limits, and audio recordings
00:02:29of conversations between dispatchers and the train driver suggest possible
00:02:33communication failures. Prime Minister
00:02:35always have more news on Pedro Sanchez said that the whole country is mourning
00:02:38and promised that responsibility will be established. About
00:02:411.5 people protested last night in front of the Ministry of Transport in
00:02:45Madrid, clashing with police who used
00:02:48tear gas, while across the country a minute of silence was held for
00:02:51the victims.
00:02:54The entire general administration of the state,
00:02:57land, um, which one of all institutions that belong to the state, from the small municipality
00:03:00to the government of Spain, we are working day and night to
00:03:04eh, not only to give an answer to the families of the victims, but of
00:03:08course also to clarify every last detail of this
00:03:11tragedy and of course to reinforce security so that this does not happen
00:03:15again. The entire state is focused on the
00:03:18response, in a triple aspect. Firstly,
00:03:22a response to the emergency, to this
00:03:25human tragedy, eh to eh
00:03:28unfortunately retrieve the bodies
00:03:31that have resulted from this
00:03:35and an additional 15% on fatality, from this catastrophe, of course also in their identification, in the
00:03:39affiliation of the injured persons, in their
00:03:42health assistance. Secondly,
00:03:45the knowledge and clarification of
00:03:48what were the causes that led to
00:03:51this terrible railway accident, and
00:03:55finally there will be a later
00:03:57point regarding the
00:04:00compensation, at least from the material point of view, that the
00:04:04general administration of the state eh gives to the families of the victims
00:04:07of the terrible
00:04:12tragedy. At least 14 people were killed and 10 were wounded in a Russian
00:04:16drone attack on a railway station in Dnipro. According to the national
00:04:19railway operator, the unmanned aerial vehicle hit a platform
00:04:22where a train operating on the Dnipro-Zaporizhzhia
00:04:26route was located, as well as a suburban train.
00:04:30Medical assistance is being provided to the injured. At the same time,
00:04:33it was announced that representatives of Russia, Ukraine, and the United States
00:04:36should continue negotiations in Abu Dhabi on ending the war after November
00:04:394th. Russian presidential aide
00:04:43Yuriy Ushakov stated that the continuation of talks was agreed upon without
00:04:47European representatives, while Zelensky expressed hope for
00:04:50a meeting in the first half of
00:04:53November.
00:04:56There are simply no words from the excitement.
00:06:12the political bloc does not have the necessary majority of 61 seats to
00:06:16form a government. According to preliminary results from the Central
00:06:19Election Commission, the opposition bloc gathered around Gadi
00:06:23Eisenkot won
00:06:2548 seats, while Prime Minister Benjamin
00:06:29Netanyahu's bloc has 53. Arab parties achieved a
00:06:32historic result, winning 19 seats in the Knesset,
00:06:36thereby preventing the current Prime Minister from achieving a majority
00:06:39after Netanyahu's party
00:06:42accused Arab parties of electoral fraud. The Election Commission
00:06:46rejected these accusations as unfounded. The leader of
00:06:49the Joint List stated that they are ready to cooperate with the opposition
00:06:53to remove the current government, while the Israeli president called on
00:06:57political actors to avoid holding new
00:07:00elections.
00:07:07interest in the two state solution, for example,
00:07:10or more rights for the Palestinians. But as a
00:07:14Palestinian, I don't want to just see a
00:07:18change in the faces because you can change the faces as
00:07:22much as you want, but if the policy and the approach and the
00:07:25ideology doesn't change, then a new
00:07:29government might end up doing the same
00:07:34a different form and shape. I mean, you might ease
00:07:37up a few iron gates, you might allow
00:07:41a few laborers.
00:08:12The election results were determined
00:08:16by one fact: an attempt
00:08:19to make people forget about Saturday, October 7th. One and a half
00:08:21million or close to one and a half million residents
00:08:25in the State of Israel who
00:08:27experienced everything
00:08:31that happened on Saturday, October 7th, and we thought
00:08:33that all the people of Israel, as one,
00:08:37whether Jews or Arabs,
00:08:40would be with us. resignation,
00:08:49she leaves office on February 7, 2027,
00:08:52eight
00:08:57months before the end of her term. She informed the governing council
00:09:00of the bank and the president of the European Council, Antonio Costa, today
00:09:04of her decision. The former governors of the central banks
00:09:07of the Netherlands and Spain are mentioned as the main candidates
00:09:10for her successor. Her departure in February will allow European
00:09:14Union leaders to appoint a new head before
00:09:17the presidential elections in France. The resignation comes at
00:09:20a sensitive moment for the eurozone, hit by inflation and rising energy
00:09:24prices due to the war with

00:09:29I have just informed my fellow policymakers and
00:09:32staff at the European Central Bank that I will be stepping down with
00:09:36effect on February 7th, 2027, after
00:09:39monetary policy governing council. "It has been
00:09:43a great pride and huge privilege to serve this
00:09:46institution, and I want to thank all those who have
00:09:50contributed, supported, and delivered on the mission that we
00:09:53have in Europe. Be
00:09:56rock, be solid, deliver price stability, financial
00:10:00stability, and I think that I leave this
00:10:03institution with a sense of
00:10:06good work done and an ECB that is fit
00:10:10for the future."
00:17:13Let's look at the weather forecast with Radmila Mitrović.
00:17:17Ahead of us are several cloudy, rainy autumn days,
00:17:21and a drop in temperatures will follow from the weekend. Our country
00:17:24is under the influence of a low air pressure system. From
00:17:28tomorrow, precipitation is expected, which on Sunday, at the beginning of next
00:17:32week, could be heavier. In the coming
00:17:35hours, during the night, it will be mostly cloudy, but light rain is possible
00:17:38only in some places in the north. On Friday, it will be cloudy and cool with
00:17:42occasional rain. A moderate northern
00:17:45wind will blow. The minimum temperature will be from 5 to 13
00:17:48degrees, and the highest daily temperature will be in the range of 9 to
00:17:5119. Rain is expected on Saturday, and from Sunday,
00:17:55locally there may be heavier precipitation. Temperatures will continue
00:17:58to fall, so snow is expected in the
00:18:01mountains. The highest daily temperature in the coming period in most places will be up to
00:18:0511 degrees, only in the south will it be
00:18:08slightly warmer.
00:18:10You have been following N1 news. You
00:18:13n1info.Ba. Thank you for your attention. Good evening.
00:19:03There's eight homes in each arch and then there's there's 40 homes
00:19:07in total. So it's got a few arches with homes, but then there's also
00:19:11uh some outside spaces where we're going to grow food together, can go fishing in the
00:19:15canal. We've even keeping bees. There's a village hall
00:19:19which is really the the center of what we do. It's where we teach people to shop, to
00:19:23cook, to budget. We hold socials there, celebrate birthdays, have a lot of
00:19:26fun together. There we've got a sports pitch
00:19:30and we're just developing a gym, boxing gym and also a joinery
00:19:33workshop. And really these are all different-shaped excuses to spend
00:19:37with the men that we care for here. It's
00:19:40about 55% of people who are finally
00:19:44housed in council housing, they choose to go
00:19:48back to the street and they're saying it's because I was lonely and I felt overwhelmed at having to
00:19:51run a home for the first time. So what we do here is kind of
00:19:55practice run, running your own home without losing that
00:19:58community. We want to show people that they're loved, they're
00:20:02not just like, it's not just a job here or a project, we actually
00:20:05care about people. We believe God cares about people like, let's
00:20:09build really smart homes with really nice gardens, good quality,
00:20:13not just anything, something to be proud of and to take care
00:20:16of. So that when they leave the village, they
00:20:19take that into their own homes. Can we have
00:20:23a look inside? I'll show you
00:20:24one.
00:20:28Right, so come on in. What we've got is
00:20:31effectively a bit like student accommodation, but slightly bigger and
00:20:34much higher quality. So we've managed to have fully
00:20:38Bosh kit, really high quality stuff, but we
00:20:42love that because it just speaks of uh people being
00:20:45valued, you know, so we want people to feel that,
00:20:48yeah, I've got this really smart place to live right in the city
00:20:52center by the water. Maybe my life's taking a good turn.
00:20:56I can can really have another go at it. And what you want is
00:20:59sustainable funding, not just for this project, but to expand it because
00:21:04for you, this is a blueprint that works and can work elsewhere. It is
00:21:07working. So, in between 92 and 95% of people who come to
00:21:11us leave us with a full-time job, no longer
00:21:15needing council housing, no longer needing benefits, going to private
00:21:18rental. That's not the norm, you know, the normal way. And that's in
00:21:2214 months. The normal is to wait
00:21:2515 plus years in a shelter and then go for
00:21:28council housing and live on benefits. Talk to me about what it's
00:21:32like here at Embassy Village. It's it's a lovely place, lovely
00:21:36people. Um, it's more of
00:21:39like, like family really. We're all,
00:21:42we're all, some of us know, know each other from
00:21:46previous places that we were at really. But yeah, it's a really
00:21:49good place. 'Cause you were rough sleeping, well you've been rough
00:21:52sleeping since you were 16 and
00:21:56you've been in various shelters and accommodations and
00:22:00through various
00:22:02cycles of help. Does it feel like there's more support here, that there's
00:22:06a purpose? Well, the people care, the staff care
00:22:10about you. You just need one person to believe in you
00:22:13really. Do what I mean? Some people. And what is it
00:22:17you're really into here? I hear you're pretty good
00:22:20cook. I'm not going to brag. No, I'm not that
00:22:23good. I am good really. Yeah, it sounds like
00:22:27you're actually saving the government and the local authority money by the work that you
00:22:30Yeah, we worked out it's between 800,000 and a million
00:22:33pounds for every group that passes through here, we save. That's by keeping
00:22:37them off benefits, keeping them off social housing. It
00:22:40costs between about 12, 35,000 a year
00:22:44for someone to rough sleep. So that's police time, NHS time,
00:22:47local count, what most people don't understand. Yeah, yeah, whereas
00:22:51here it costs us, we worked out, it's about 12, 13 grand to go through
00:22:55our entire process once, as
00:22:57opposed to every year being on the street costing one. So it's a no-brainer.
00:23:01Andy Burnham, the first thing he did as prime minister was say he wanted to end rough
00:23:05sleeping. He's someone you know. He knows about your work, as
00:23:09during his time here as mayor of Greater Manchester. There is
00:23:12a new homelessness minister. And you have this blueprint
00:23:16that could be rolled out across the UK. What would your message to them be?
00:23:20Um, come and see it, come and see it actually in action, see what's really
00:23:23happening. And I think also
00:23:26just to appeal to your view, to be honest, because
00:23:30most of our income hasn't come from the government to build this, it's come
00:23:34from private individuals, companies, churches that
00:23:37have gone, you know what, I love that. I'm going to get in touch and help. And so whilst we've
00:23:41built this, uh, we want to build a load of accommodation for women now.
00:23:45Um, we've got some
00:23:47the local authorities is letting us have for free.
00:23:50Um, and we've got a team together to build it. We just need
00:23:54the funds to build it. Um, we want to build a little health center, so
00:23:57we need some help with that. Um, and
00:24:00uh, we are always needing more staff. So if
00:24:04anyone wants to sponsor a staff salary, honestly, these are the kinds of
00:24:08things you could help with and make an enormous
00:24:10difference.
00:24:20Microsoft, the company on whose software the world's
00:24:23businesses and many homes run, has a
00:24:26problem: how to keep its one and a half billion
00:24:29customers' data secure in a world of rogue AI
00:24:32agents. If we don't mobilize with urgency, we'll
00:24:36see a lot of threats becoming reality. So we need to
00:24:39mobilize very quickly to make sure that we manage
00:24:43those systems responsibly, and it
00:24:46starts by saying we can't trust them. As an irony
00:24:49here, a multi-billion dollar partnership with Open AI helped
00:24:52them to be the first to offer AI agents, they call them
00:24:55co-pilots, to their customers. But it also
00:24:58turbocharged Open AI's growth that, among other things,
00:25:02gave us out of control agent swarms hacking into corporate and
00:25:05public databases. Agents we can't trust
00:25:09that run at speed and scale never imagined before, that are already
00:25:13threatening their customers. We need to build defenses that
00:25:17operate 24/7 so that we can't spawn at machine
00:25:20speed. That's the big big difference between security
00:25:24before and security now. It's happening, and a lot of folks were like, is
00:25:28it hype? It's not hype. It's real. The solution, yep, you
00:25:31guessed it, using good AI to fight bad AI
00:25:35with guardian agents. We have guardian
00:25:38agents, they're going to operate 24 by seven, and their job is
00:25:42going to be to look at what is happening in
00:25:45the environment, near real time, looking at all the signals, bringing them
00:25:48together to say, oh, this is what's happening. And before the agents can do
00:25:52a bad thing, we will then adjust what it
00:25:56can do. It makes sense. Microsoft says its security
00:25:59systems already monitor 165
00:26:02trillion signals each day, but an army of guardian agents
00:26:06won't come cheap. Like any other frontier AI, their demand
00:26:10for compute will be enormous and costly. It will happen in the
00:26:13existing data center, but it's new processing, and then you're
00:26:17going to have to take actions. That is the reality of where we're going, but we have no
00:26:21choice because what's coming at us is at
00:26:24scales 24/7 and it's machine speed. Perhaps not surprising
00:26:27then that the new secure AI agentic system Microsoft is
00:26:31launching with available to its top tier
00:26:34customers. Its dominance established in a
00:26:38pre-AI era means it has the most to gain from offering
00:26:41time-saving productivity-enhancing AI agents to its
00:26:44customers, but for the same reason, Microsoft has the most to
00:26:48lose if it can't defend them from wayward AI agents
00:26:51that it in part helped to
00:26:53create.
