00:17:11entital period during the pregnancy, the whole journey during all

00:17:19is on the shoulders of a gynecologist because she is the
00:17:22counselor there, she is the psychiatrist, she is the psychologist and she is their
00:17:26friend as well, the importance regarding it is that
00:17:30you have to start informing the benefits of
00:17:34breastfeeding since the very start, since the pregnancy becomes
00:17:38positive that how important for it is not only for the baby as
00:17:41well as for the mother and yes we do counseling, in fact i
00:17:45say that it's the best gift you can give to your baby, it's more precious than
00:17:49gold or diamond. okay, and whenever baby is born, this
00:17:53happens in our daysy society where you receive lot of conflicting advice, whether
00:17:57it's friends, family, social media, lot of myths and stigma attached
00:18:00to these kind of things, right? so what would you recommend? most people think
00:18:04of it as a personal choice, but the world of... organization has actually
00:18:08stated this as health priority, why is it so essential and important for
00:18:12babies? that's a very, very important thing, because
00:18:16firstly answering the question is that the myths about the breastfeeding, see
00:18:20there comes a lot of many myths, particularly in our
00:18:23society that once you feed the baby, the baby is not going to feed
00:18:27well, let's move to the formula feed, formula food might be better
00:18:31than the breastfeeding, but telling you the very very truth
00:18:34and scientific knowledge that there is is no
00:18:38comparison the breast feed because the breast feed why, why is it so? the
00:18:42reason is the nature in the breast feed has given the dha,
00:18:46the amino acids, all the immunity, it not only
00:18:49brings the good health to the baby, it saves from the respiratory
00:18:53infections, the diarrhea, then pneumonia, later on set
00:18:57obesity, diabetes, even it increases the
00:19:01intelligence which we call in medical term cognitive behavior,
00:19:05so it it is very very good. if it is taken it is going to
00:19:09help lot of mothers, lot of communities, because
00:19:12the the people here don't not know the how to breast feed and what
00:19:16importance is of breast feeding in our cases, the problem
00:19:20over here is not this, now the problem over here, alhamdulillah myself i'm a
00:19:24father, do for fact that every time that we were going to a
00:19:27gynecologist you would always recommend formula milk, now
00:19:31you have to listen to me very careful, it's doctors who are probably paid by the
00:19:35companies of which are selling for. milk, but there are countries where there is
00:19:39legislation and policies in place that no substitute
00:19:43can be marketed you know by any company you know in
00:19:47position to substitute a mother's milk or the feed the
00:19:50mother. how do you think, how do you think that our doctors now or
00:19:54gynecologists need to be more responsible? how do you think that there needs to be
00:19:58new policies or new legislations being brought in to make sure
00:20:02that you that for all of those people selling formula milk are stopped from at least
00:20:06marketing it? That's
00:20:10that's very right, that's why I mentioned before that now in our
00:20:14country it is the responsibility of a
00:20:16gynecologist to explain and inform each
00:20:20and every pregnant woman or to be mom
00:20:24that how important the breast feed is not only
00:20:28for whole health but for the bonding but for the baby it
00:20:32means that you are give giving very good start from the
00:20:36very very start the baby. from the first day the zero day the
00:20:39baby, so it of course I do, I do agree with you, it is our
00:20:42responsibility to inform them, and the see black sheeps
00:20:46unfortunately, I would say are everywhere.

00:20:53then i think it is something non negotiable or something which
00:20:57is unethical and should not be done at all the
00:21:01breast fed feed mother we have seen multiple babies i have
00:21:05delivered many babies and i have seen the babies which are born
00:21:09and later on fed on breastfeed and some babies as well which the
00:21:13mother said i don't want to feed like i don't want to feed my baby
00:21:17and i want to just give the formula feed and we have seen
00:21:20babies, okay, the behavior would matter, the environment would
00:21:24matter, but we have seen the mark difference in the
00:21:28risk of getting infections, the immunity gets better, the risk of
00:21:32infections get low, and their journal behavior
00:21:36improves, that is the kind of breastfeeding, so that should, i
00:21:40think that is the
00:22:02out there I think there is isa one responsibility that needs to come to us and
00:22:06that is that we need to make sure that they are paid maternity leaves first
00:22:09of all and that there is an environment within your working place
00:22:13where you can go and breastfeed your child and it should actually be looked at
00:22:17very normally it should be because
00:22:19it is stigma, this the stress of of joining the workforce again for
00:22:23mothers which leads this this detachment to happen and which is why we should
00:22:27have inclusive office spaces and leaves assigned for the for
00:22:31the essential time that mother and a child needs to recover and that is what
00:22:35we are hopefully going to push on in in our
