00:00:42of whether to join Saudi strikes against the hoothies following attack on Riyaz

00:00:52a of the incident and will make decision quickly.

00:01:16Zelinsky with new leader with

00:02:01of
00:02:11Those of are the headlines and now for the news in details: US President Donald Trump urge
00:02:14Ukraine to replace Zelinsky with new leader lashing out at him for strikes on
00:02:18Russian oil refineries that have contributed to pre-election high diesel
00:02:21prices.
00:02:22a Trump told reporters at the white house that he had told Zelensky that Ukraine
00:02:26could take action against Russia but should avoid targeting refinery.
00:02:31I look
00:02:32of at it differently,
00:02:32of Zelinsky could have settled this war many
00:02:34in times, in many, many times and he cho, he
00:02:38chooses not to, very difficult, it's a war
00:02:42that should have never been started, if I were
00:02:45of president, if the
00:02:45of election weren't rigged, I would have been president and that war would have never
00:02:49started, but he could have settled it many times and he chose not
00:02:52to, we said you can do whatever you
00:02:54of want of of to Russia, don't
00:02:55of hit the refineries because that's a world problem that's
00:02:59of caused. and he wants to
00:03:01in make problems for the world, he wants to make problems
00:03:03of for our farmers, our ranchers with
00:03:06of of diesel fuel, because Russia supplies a large portion
00:03:10of the diesel fuel throughout the world, and we told them, do whatever
00:03:14you want, but don't hit the diesel fuel, because there's a big
00:03:17problem, and what does he do? he goes and hits the diesel
00:03:21fuel, he can do whatever he wants, but you can't do that,
00:03:24because we have a world problem, and the problem is
00:03:28caused by the lack. of refineries
00:03:30of for diesel fuel, so what does he do? he goes and hits
00:03:33refineries, and i said to him, do what you want, don't hit
00:03:37refineries, there's plenty of targets, don't hit refined, and he went out
00:03:41and he hit, and he's not going to affect our farmers and he's not going to
00:03:45in affect our ranchers
00:03:46of and he's not going to affect the rest
00:03:48of the world, so we he better damn well
00:03:51stop, and you know what i suggest, suggest they get
00:03:55new leader who can make deal, because he could have made
00:03:59many. and for some reason he never does, and let me go a step
00:04:02further, if I were president, you wouldn't have ever had that
00:04:06of war, of that of war would have never started, there was no
00:04:09a reason that that war with Ukraine and Russia started, it
00:04:13started due to incompetence to never started, you wouldn't
00:04:17have lost 30% of your country already, you've lost
00:04:2130% of your country and you've had over
00:04:24million people killed, between the two
00:04:27of them, over two million people killed, that should have never
00:04:31of started, and I think it's time for Ukraine
00:04:33me to get new president. President and Prime
00:04:37Minister
00:04:37Shaz Sharif held the meeting
00:04:38of a
00:04:41of Sadar in Islama about to discuss the country's overall political and security situation. The meeting was attended by deputy prime
00:04:45minister and information minister
00:04:48mother interior ministeri,
00:04:50law minister, advisor on political affairs Rana sana, attorney
00:04:54general Mansor Usman Avan and Federal Minister Essen Chima
00:04:58among other officials. Senator Sher Rahman Sayad Navid
00:05:02Khamar senator Salim Mandviwala and Dr.
00:05:05Asim assisted the president during the meeting. The participants agreed to conven
00:05:09separate sessions on the national assembly and senate on Tuesday. October the
00:05:1213th
00:06:02in the first segment we are going to try to understand the European Union
00:06:05policy towards Israel amid the atrocities and the
00:06:09brutalities which has been perpetrated by Israel's raging. and its
00:06:13illegal occupation forces in Gaza in
00:06:16particular, in the second segment we are going to understand
00:06:20regarding the situation generally over there
00:06:24in the middle east when it comes to the US Iran conflict, there is a hint by
00:06:27US president Donald Trump of halting the direct strikes against
00:06:31Iran until after the midterm elections
00:06:34in November, also when we talk about
00:06:38the increase and attacks by Huti against Saudi Arabia.
00:06:43and also the commitment the regional defense packed
00:06:47countries including Turkey and Pakistan for the sovereignty territorial
00:06:50integrity and the overall security the kingdom of Saudi
00:06:54Arabia, we are going to take the understanding regarding as to what
00:06:58is unfolding at the moment in the middle east
00:07:01generally on those particular fronts in the second segment of
00:07:05today's show.
00:07:09we specifically talk about the European Union. know for
00:07:12fact that it claims to be the champion of human rights, the international
00:07:16law and the democratic values, but when
00:07:20we specifically talk about the European Union's collective
00:07:24policy towards Israel, especially after the kind
00:07:28of situation that is unfolded since 8th of October
00:07:322023, the relentless bombardment as result of
00:07:36which more than 7500 innocent Palestinians have
00:07:39lost their lives in Gaza. at the same
00:07:43time there is case the rapidly expanding
00:07:47illegal settlements in the west bank also
00:07:51there there are certain questions that are
00:07:55being raised when it comes to the collective policy the European Union
00:07:59towards as well with these
00:08:02policies also we know for there is a survey report that talks
00:08:06about how many percentage of people when it comes
00:08:09to the two major European countries including
00:08:12Germany and Italy, there is a considerable percentage the
00:08:16people that are talking against
00:08:19Israel, they've got the negative opinion about Israeli
00:08:23policies in the occupied Palestinian
00:08:27territories, at the same time we've also
00:08:30seen that more than
00:08:34former officials from the European Union, including the
00:08:37diplomats, they have accused Germany and
00:08:41Italy of block. the meaningful action
00:08:44against Israel on the other side we see there are certain moves
00:08:48that are made by Britain, France as well as Canada when it comes
00:08:52to putting the restrictions regarding the trade related to
00:08:56illegal settlements in as well, so do we
00:09:00understand that there is lack of
00:09:03unanimity and unity among the European Union countries when it
00:09:07comes to its policy towards Israel and
00:09:11israel high-handedness,
00:09:13its bombardment against the
00:09:17innocent people in Gaza, the kind of damage and destruction there
00:09:20has been accuwed as result of that. Also we know for fact there is
00:09:24a diet humanitarian crisis that is unfolding
00:09:28in Gaza's enclave, also will try to
00:09:32understand or is this the evidence of
00:09:35diminishing European Union
00:09:38influence all across because of its double standards.
00:09:42or these the double standards will try to understand it
00:10:13you give us an understanding, do we understand that
00:10:17Europe generally remains divided at this point in
00:10:20time as we speak, there are more than 500 officials from the...
00:10:25European Union former officials, including the diplomats that
00:10:29have accused Germany and Italy of blocking the meaningful action
00:10:33when it comes to Israeli policies in Gaza. On the other
00:10:36hand, we we've seen some moves happening on the part of
00:10:39Britain, France as well as Canada when it comes to
00:10:43the trade related to illegal settlements, do we understand the Europe remains
00:10:47divided at this moment and what are the core
00:10:51reasons for that division among the European Union members?
00:10:56Well, I think so far, the only government of
00:11:00Europe which has taken a courageous stand given
00:11:04the environment, supporting the Palestinians,
00:11:08is the Spanish government of Sanchez,
00:11:12so I have said that they have uphold the honor of Europe, because
00:11:16otherwise it is only opposition groups in the different countries who
00:11:20have come out for the rights the Palestinians,
00:11:24I think the reason... and
00:11:28complicated, I think one big factor for sure to
00:11:31explain the the discrepancy
00:11:35between what the people the countries want and what the
00:11:38governments are actually doing, if you have to look at the
00:11:42United States, because the United States obviously,
00:11:46especially with the present Trump administration is
00:11:49closely allied with
00:11:52Israel, and therefore the influence the...
00:11:55atlanticists in the European governments is one
00:11:58big cause, it is just politically
00:12:01opportune, to to be on the side of
00:12:04Israel, the defense of Israel, no matter what
00:12:07they do,
00:12:09is being regarded as the defense the
00:12:13rules based order, even nobody believes that that rules based order ever
00:12:17existed, but for sure not now anymore, so I think
00:12:21it is in large part the effort, but
00:12:25some these governments to uphold some order which
00:12:29no longer exists and you know they they care not at all
00:12:33about what happens
00:12:34to the palestinians, it's more about like if you look at the
00:12:38reaction to the peace Nobel Prize being given to the
00:12:42South African jurist Mrs. Peil, the
00:12:45European Union applauded it, but for
00:12:49sure they only applaud to her record of defender of
00:12:53human rights, but they... do not necessarily include in that the
00:12:57ruling the ICC, which named
00:13:00Netanyahu and and some other Israeli officials as
00:13:04war criminals and and and alike, so I think it's
00:13:08a, I think it's a very double
00:13:11faced reaction coming from the
00:13:26issue, sara, coming to you, when when we specifically talk
00:13:29about the pattern the European countries in
00:13:33particular regard to the upholding human rights,
00:13:37international law and the democratic norms, there are
00:13:41presidents, historic presidents when we talk about
00:13:44how Europe generally reacts to
00:13:48an approach and strategy of this sort, if that happens,
00:13:52why in your understanding? Israel gets a
00:13:56different sort of a treatment despite its atrocities, it has
00:14:00been perpetating in Gaza, the expansion of
00:14:03illegal settlements over there in the occupied West Bank. Also, we also
00:14:07know for fact there is an advisory opinion on the part
00:14:11the International Court of Justice for moment, keeping ICC
00:14:27back to the European stance on the Israeli practices, actually the
00:14:31Israeli practicing practices in on on Gaza
00:14:35and now in the west bank, let's not forget the
00:14:38israely practices in the west bank now is actually
00:14:42juperadizing everything that the EU
00:14:45as as a block has ever and
00:14:49always stood for, because the EU has always been seen as the
00:14:53human rights help. in in in the center the
00:14:56world, well let tell you that there is
00:15:00also another part, another
00:15:04legal part that prohibits
00:15:08or maybe holds the EU from action
00:15:11against Israel, even though we know that the members
00:15:15have different stances, this has lot of reasons
00:15:18because different EU members, European
00:15:22countries within the EU block have... different
00:15:25strategic interests and trade interests with
00:15:29Israel and as your honorable guest mentioned as
00:15:33well new in in in your report that yes
00:15:37we have EU members who have managed to take
00:15:40stances against Israel with their diplomatic weight,
00:15:44diplomatic power, economic power, because the EU doesn't
00:15:47lack any these, what it really lacks is the
00:15:51unanimity, like you mentioned, but the
00:15:54popular or the public pressure
00:15:58a lot of EU members has has been
00:16:02translated into parliamentary scrutiny and this is
00:16:05why we have seen lot of movement,
00:16:09yes the EU has taken movement, but it lacks, it
00:16:13lacks the the the way of imposing the
00:16:17measures, for instance, article two the
00:16:20association agreement between the EU as a block and Israel has
00:16:24been provoked in early 2025,
00:16:28and yes, the EU as a block has
00:16:31agreed that Israel's praxis or Israel's
00:16:35settlement. expansion is is
00:16:39put into question according to the human rights articles that they
00:16:43have agreed upon into the association, so yes the EU wants
00:16:47to do something, even though we do have the politics of
00:16:50historical responsibility within the case of
00:16:53Germany and within the EU institutions Germany
00:16:57alone is is is is is capable of
00:17:01blocking any measures that
00:17:05might be translated into more consequence
00:17:08to somehow contain Israel's
00:17:12breaches, huge violations of human rights, which is
00:17:16japadizing EU stances on human
00:17:19rights, actually Israel is putting
00:17:22every western country that has ever taken their
00:17:26back now into a very
00:17:30crucial situation, like no one can ever
00:17:34talk about human rights now with all the Israeli pr. except of
00:17:38course for the US government, so how
00:17:42come we are facing this humanitarian
00:17:45crisis in Gaza and the west bank,
00:17:48and we don't see action from the EU, part
00:17:52is legal, and the other part is, of
00:17:55course, the EU is also in
00:17:59conflict with the US and its power and its
00:18:03alliance with Israel, and there is stands
00:18:06on the... strategies with the EU, so the
00:18:10EU now is actually a a position
00:18:13where it cannot do
00:18:17more than that against Israel for the lack of
00:18:29upon very important points, I'll come back to you, please stay with us, Miss Larush,
00:18:32when we try to compare the moves on the part
00:18:36the two for... for example when you talk about in the case of
00:18:39Britain, France and Canada, move regarding putting
00:18:43restrictions on the trade which is related to
00:18:47illegal settlements, especially when we talk about the
00:18:51occupied West Bank, now do we understand, they
00:18:54do have a concern when it comes to the West Bank
00:18:58alone, and what about their understanding and
00:19:02approach towards what has been done by
00:19:06Israel in Gaza? particular over the last more than three
00:19:09years, firstly that I want your comparison
00:19:13differentiate between their understanding and their concern when it comes to the what is
00:19:17going on in the west bank as compared to in Gaza. Also keeping
00:19:21in view this move, do you think both
00:19:24Germany and Italy which have been accused by more than
00:19:28500 former officials including the diplomats could
00:19:32be also coming up with any move of that
00:19:36sort and if not, what is exactly the stumbling
00:19:40block when it comes to the German internal politics and
00:19:43Italian internal politics? does
00:19:47this has it to deal anything
00:19:50with the internal politics or the larger national strategic
00:19:54interest towards as
00:19:56well? well concerning
00:19:59the first of your questions, i think there
00:20:02is lot of shared
00:20:06because you now the the behavior of
00:20:10Israel in the west bank uh was is
00:20:14about to repeat what they did in Gaza, so
00:20:17maybe the the three countries you mentioned want to keep up
00:20:21an appearance, that they uphold
00:20:25a shadow of international human
00:20:29rights and and international law, I don't think it's very
00:20:32convincing, because the practically the entire
00:20:36international... community has done very
00:20:40little, some even nothing at all, to
00:20:43stop something which correctly was called by the ICC
00:20:47a genocide, and the... "the specific
00:20:51German situation naturally, you now, I mean, obviously
00:20:55Germany has the guilt of having
00:20:58committed the original genocide,
00:21:01but
00:21:02that does not mean that you would give a green light to everything
00:21:06the Israeli government does when they are trying sort of
00:21:10echo what the Germans did to the Jews, so I
00:21:14think it's a the whole thing is is
00:21:16completely,
00:21:18you know, I think it discredits." the European countries,
00:21:22including Canada
00:21:23for that matter, I think in the eyes the whole
00:21:26world, the behavior of Europe is a complete
00:21:30shame, and I know from many discussions with
00:21:34representatives of countries the global south, that the
00:21:38reputation of Europe has suffered tremendously
00:21:42as result of all of
00:21:48curious to understand what takes. Generally the
00:21:51precedence, the popular public opinion as
00:21:55in this case we know for fact there is a service that reports
00:21:58unfavor favorable opinion of 75% in
00:22:02Italy and 73% in
00:22:05Germany, which the two takes precedence
00:22:09when it comes to chalking out such a
00:22:12policy, when it comes to specifically Germany and
00:22:16Italy, when there is such a considerable percentage that gives the next
00:22:20opinion a certain issue as compared to the strategic interest
00:22:24of that country with another one, well what you see in that
00:22:28particular incident, which you can also see concerning
00:22:32different topics, these European governments, not so
00:22:36much Miloni, but the German government
00:22:38and the French and the British government, the
00:22:41supports are down to 10 to
00:22:4520% the support the voters, so the
00:22:49overwhelming majority of people do not approve what these
00:22:52governments do, however that does not at all have
00:22:56influence on the behavior the governments, it's sort of that they could not
00:23:00care less, and that shows you that is
00:23:04why, for example, right now you have in the streets of
00:23:08seven European countries, hundreds of thousands of
00:23:11people, especially young people, but also
00:23:15farmers, truckers and and and trade unionists, but
00:23:19especially young people. have taken back to the streets
00:23:22and the issues are on the one side naturally the economic
00:23:26condition, the condition of education, but mixed in all of
00:23:30that is total disapprovement, disapproval over
00:23:34the treatment the palestinians and i think this is
00:23:37like
00:23:41absessound in the
00:23:44European political situation
00:23:47which something which can break out. any moment a
00:23:51much more uh violent way with what we can see in
00:23:55France right now uh you know so people are talking about the
00:23:59repetition of 68 you now, but
00:24:03the content is this time much more moral,
00:24:05it is not about sexual freedom or something else
00:24:09which the 68 movement was known for,
00:24:13but it is on more fundamental issues that people have a
00:24:17sense that the governments are not respecting. 'the will
00:24:20the people, and the issue on Palestine is
00:24:24is one very crucial element of that, but you have seen it
00:24:28in the last two years that the governments both in the United States and in
00:24:32Europe have taken extremely repressive
00:24:36measures against the students which were demonstrating,
00:24:39accusing them of antisemitism, which
00:24:43you know, I'm not excluding that here and there there may have been a case where
00:24:47somebody was anti-semitic, but in general'. "It is not
00:24:50anti-semitism if you oppose the policy the government of
00:24:54Israel and you defend the life the Palestinians for being
00:24:58slaughtered, so this argument of
00:25:01antisemitism, in my view, in my
00:25:05experience, is being instrumentalized, to to
00:25:09basically you keep control, because if you accuse Germans
00:25:12of being anti-semitic natural, you have the entire
00:25:16historical guilt, and
00:25:18you can immediately." any kind of discretion, but
00:25:22in reality
00:25:23it is instrument to suppress the the
00:25:27justified protest the people, especially young people and
00:25:30students against what Israel does against the
00:25:41when we talk about these more than 500 former
00:25:44European officials including the diplomats, I want your
00:25:48understanding, do we Take it as a scathing
00:25:52censure when it comes to the general policies of Germany and Italy
00:25:55towards Israel after
00:25:57what is it has done in the occupied Palestinian territories over the last many years
00:26:01is concerned. also with the mounting public pressure, with the percentages that I have
00:26:05already mentioned both in Germany and Italy, do you
00:26:09think it's going to mountain ample pressure when it comes
00:26:12to formulating or chalking out new perhaps a new
00:26:16strategy towards Israel is concerned of both these countries
00:26:19or in the if that doesn't happen to be the
00:26:23case that's going to affect
00:26:27the ruling parties within both these countries in the
00:26:30electoral politics in the...
00:26:34well actually pressure has been a
00:26:37critical factor in
00:26:41in in in the recent events in relation to
00:26:45gaza and Israel's praxis especially in
00:26:48Europe. okay, first Europe has always been
00:26:52geographically close to our region, that's one thing.
00:26:55second, europe itself has faced a lot
00:26:59of wars, humanitarian.
00:27:02crisis, lot of European
00:27:06problems have been actually sorted
00:27:10out by self-determination, so there are
00:27:14we have now 15 EU member states that
00:27:17recognizes Palestine, well more
00:27:20pressure, more EU, I would say more EU pressure
00:27:24on Germany and
00:27:26Italy in the time being
00:27:30um would be tested. This is one thing, we will see
00:27:34if politics and human rights and every
00:27:38stands the EU as a block would now
00:27:41succeed to represent itself on
00:27:44itself, it representing here the the
00:27:48German government and the Italian one,
00:27:51okay, so I think more EU, EU
00:27:54pressure, okay, for the future of
00:27:58EU principles and values and one huge.
00:28:02principle and value the EU is human rights, so
00:28:06the EU as a unified block cannot
00:28:10agree on the imposing the
00:28:13right measures to hold Israel from its
00:28:17practices, okay, that's like of unanimity, the EU is not
00:28:21a unitary state, okay, we understand
00:28:24that, we do really appreciate
00:28:28the, if we can say it, the unilateral movements
00:28:32from some European countries like Spain, France,
00:28:35recognizing Palestine for France is huge step, we have seen it
00:28:39here in the in the region as a huge step, we have got to Europe on
00:28:43our side in the Palestinian case, well
00:28:47maybe more EU pressure and maybe
00:28:51more reshaping the principles the EU,
00:28:54especially with the rise of the right the
00:28:58right movements
00:29:03Larush would be specific to, you already referred to the policy of Spain,
00:29:07now Spain and Ireland have pushed for the review the EU as well
00:29:10association agreements, human rights obligations,
00:29:14do we understand it's going to considerably put a pressure when it comes to the
00:29:18preferential trade
00:29:19arrangements? yes, I
00:29:23think so, I think that the Spanish
00:29:27position, as I already said, in my view is the only
00:29:30one which up. any standard of
00:29:34international law, and I think a lot will really
00:29:38depend on on the future
00:29:40mobilizations, like the 500
00:29:43diplomats, and I think we we are
00:29:47a crisis, I mean
00:29:49I think what what contains this particular question of
00:29:53Israel, Palestine, the general
00:29:57side,
00:29:58it is taking place in the context that the entire..."
00:30:02international law is questioned, mean if
00:30:06the president the united states says he does not need international
00:30:09law, if you know the
00:30:12entire body
00:30:15of of law is not being uphold, you can make sanctions against the
00:30:18ICC for ruling on something which is absolutely
00:30:22in their duty and and obligation to rule, we are
00:30:26looking a lawless situation, and i think that
00:30:30is why i have been arguing. for the last several
00:30:33years that we urgently need a new international security
00:30:37architecture, because international law and
00:30:41the the order, as it emerged after the end the cold
00:30:45war, where there was an attempt to establish an
00:30:47unilateral dominance of certain
00:30:51countries, that clearly is falling apart,
00:30:55if you look at the so-called middle east, southwest Asia, the
00:30:58entire security.
