00:00:00The falsehood of aggressor's
00:00:01of claims to human rights. At least four people
00:00:05are injured in the latest Israeli attacks in and around the Lebanese
00:00:09City of
00:00:09Tyre.
00:00:15of And finally, Japanese prime minister Sinani Tekaiishi
00:00:19leads the
00:00:20of commemorations on the 81st anniversary
00:00:23in of the US nuclear attack on the Japanese city of
00:00:27of Hiroshima.
00:00:40Hello and welcome everyone, you're watching Press
00:00:42of TV world news, let's go ahead and get started with the stories that
00:00:44matter. Well, Iran's president says
00:00:48all enemy plans and pressures are aimed at making the people
00:00:52dissatisfied and provoking them to protest, but the Iranian people will
00:00:56stand for their country. Added that the entire
00:01:00Iranian nation help to keep the
00:01:01of country together, even those
00:01:03who had objections to the
00:01:04government. the
00:01:08enemies been trying to
00:01:11dismantle us, but the
00:01:14of fact that we could continue, it's
00:01:16of because
00:01:16of of the noble people of Iran, not just the people
00:01:19who gathered
00:01:19in the streets, everybody who endears and
00:01:23holds iran dearly in their heart, despite
00:01:27of all the difficulties, it's not just the
00:01:28of people. of
00:01:39a a and tolerates them, they are working for their country, well
00:01:43speaking
00:01:44in a televis
00:01:46in interview said the government has managed the country under the most difficult
00:01:49conditions since Islamic revolution by relying on the people's
00:01:53solidarity. he cited war, sanctions, energy imbalance and
00:01:57water crisis as the most important. challenges facing the
00:02:01nation. Pasishgan stressed that the enemies plotted to cause
00:02:04social
00:02:05of collapse and force the country into submission through missile strikes and
00:02:09destruction, but the people's support
00:02:11in prevented
00:02:11a that. The Iranian president asserted that the
00:02:14in assassination
00:02:14of the murder leader
00:02:15of the Islamic Revolution as well as military commanders and
00:02:19of scientists by the U.S. Israeli aggressors, has proved the falsehood
00:02:23of their claims to
00:02:24of human rights, freedoms and similar topics. He praised a new
00:02:28leader
00:02:28a of the Islamic
00:02:29of Revolution, I describing his character
00:02:33in terms of ethics, logic and humility as truly
00:02:36exceptional. we earlier
00:02:40talked to former US government advisor Paul Laruti, he said the
00:02:44US pressure
00:02:45of campaign against the Iranian government and
00:02:48of nation cannot meet Washington's interests in the long run, and Iran
00:02:52has already proved
00:02:52this.
00:02:56overall goal is to
00:02:57of make Iran basically submit to the will
00:03:01of the
00:03:02of the US and to control the the
00:03:06government of Iran. I think that the Iran
00:03:09is perfectly within its rights
00:03:15of of and it of is the logical kind of
00:03:19position to take that that they will not
00:03:22accept this
00:03:24of and that they
00:03:26of will not be dominated by by such things.
00:03:30actions
00:03:30of the United States have been against both the
00:03:34people and the the governments
00:03:37of of these
00:03:39of
00:03:40of countries, and so I think that holds
00:03:43perfectly well, the United
00:03:46States does not act on behalf
00:03:49of the people, it has created so many death
00:03:52and and misery and
00:03:56refugees, this is this
00:03:58a is... "the attacks and the
00:04:01invasions and the
00:04:03of attempts to use force to
00:04:06get the will
00:04:08of the United States to be
00:04:12the
00:04:12in primary force in the government of of a
00:04:15country, um, this is, this has been,
00:04:19it's it's a foolish way
00:04:20of of trying to do things, in the long run, it cannot work, and
00:04:24and Iran certainly is proof of
00:04:26that." " Well,
00:04:30Iran's foreign ministry spokesman says
00:04:32of a joint statement between Iran and Roman on the
00:04:35of straight of hormos is now at the stage of final review and
00:04:38drafting. Ismail
00:04:40of Baghayi described the talks with their men on managing maritime
00:04:43of traffic in the strategic waterway as professional, adding that both
00:04:47sides have agreed on the route coordinates. He stressed that the closure
00:04:51of the straight of Formus was
00:04:52a result
00:04:52of the US and Israeli regime's aggression against Iran. The
00:04:56spokesman said and Iran
00:04:58a on man
00:04:59of understanding alone. cannot mean that the straight has become safe for passing
00:05:03of vessels as the factors causing insecurity, including the
00:05:07US's naval blockade still remain. he also said talks
00:05:10between Iran and Aman and as the two coastal states the straight of
00:05:14hornmooz have been underway over the past two months to establish
00:05:18safe route for commercial
00:05:19shipping.
00:05:23moving over to uh southern Lebanon where the Israeli regime has launched new
00:05:27attacks in violation of a cease fire deal with the Arab
00:05:31country. the latest strikes targeted areas in and around the
00:05:35city of Tyre, wounding at least four people. the attacks forced
00:05:38many residents to leave their homes. witnesses also reported
00:05:42continuous Israeli artillery shelling in the area. the attacks came
00:05:46after the Israeli regime confirmed the killing of two of its
00:05:50soldiers and the injury of several others in an explosion in the tire
00:05:53district. according to Lebanon's health ministry, since March the
00:05:572nd, Israeli attacks have killed over
00:06:004,300 people and wounded more than
00:06:0312,250
00:06:05others.
00:06:09well, yeman's armed forces continue inf. naval blockade
00:06:13on Saudi shipping, a maritime tracking service has
00:06:17reported a sharp drop in shipping traffic through the Babel
00:06:21Mandib Street. The report by Kibler said only one commodity
00:06:25vessel crossed the Babel Mandib on Wednesday down from 20 the
00:06:28previous day. It said average of 41 ships cross the strategic
00:06:32waterway each day in the week before the naval blockade was
00:06:36announced. The report comes following Yaman's armed forces
00:06:40spokesperson announcing on Wednesday that the... country's forces have
00:06:43targeted eight Saudi oil tankers since a blockade began on
00:06:47July the 22nd. He added that 29 Saudi oil
00:06:51tankers have been prevented from proceeding and forced to turn
00:06:55back in the Red Sea and the Arabian sea. Yemen has been under
00:06:59decade long bloccade by Saudi Arabia following years of
00:07:02war and tentative truth. The situation escalated again
00:07:06after a Saudi attack on Sona International Airport.
00:07:10Since then Yeman has been implemented. a bloccade for bloccade
00:07:14policy on
00:07:15Riyad. Well now joining us
00:07:19for more on this, of course from Sanah is Mr. Hussein Albuiti,
00:07:22activist and political commentator. Mr. Bukhaiti, a pleasure as always,
00:07:26sir, as we can see and as you have previously told us on our
00:07:30program that the escalation the operations by the
00:07:33Yemani of course armed forces are expected and the reality the
00:07:37situation is it has. How has of course
00:07:40these operations been impacted? Saudi specifically this
00:07:44is double choke hold its
00:07:46economy,
00:07:52of course, it will actually damage first of all the saudi economy
00:07:55because they have after the closure the hormos
00:07:59straight because the aggression from the zin and the
00:08:03United States, Saudi has moved all the oil from the Persian
00:08:07golf through pipeline toward Yambor north the
00:08:10Reid and they were act. actually enjoying uh the blockad
00:08:14in by the Iranian government in the
00:08:18Bergian gulf because the price of oil before the war it was a barrel
00:08:22of oil between 40 to 60 but after the launch the war
00:08:25against Iran it has increased to 100 to
00:08:29120 so the Saudis when they will transfer their oil and exporting
00:08:33their oil through Yambor in the red sea they will making a huge
00:08:36profit uh but at that time when Yemen has announced that they will form a
00:08:40blue cade against Saudi Arabia before that they have requested Saudi
00:08:44implement the truth, implement the agreement that was signed in
00:08:472022, but the Saudi has been so ignorant because they
00:08:51have failed to to bring yemeni to defeat yemani people,
00:08:55they thought by economic sanction and continuing the blue cate
00:08:58against Yemen, against their airspace, against their
00:09:02waters, they thought that they might gain any
00:09:05goals uh from that truce,
00:09:09but then when yemen have blocked the red sea uh...
00:09:13they were targeting ships in the south the rid
00:09:16sea going to toward Babel mandab, but still Saudi will
00:09:20braging out loud and saying that Thombor is still working and they
00:09:24and it doesn't affect them and
00:09:25they are using the Swiss canal or the so-called
00:09:29sumid pipeline in Egypt which connect north the red sea
00:09:33to the Mediterranean sea, that's why we've seen that in the last 40 hour
00:09:3748 hours Yemani army has launched a missile
00:09:41attack against uh Saudi oil tanker that was in the north
00:09:44the red sea going from Yamber towards Swiss canal and this
00:09:47is the first time that Germany has done so and the spoke person of Yamani
00:09:51army have said clearly now we are gonna target all ships in the
00:09:55north the Reid so Saudi will not be able to buy pass the Babel Mandab
00:09:59through
00:10:00the the Swiss canal and as well just as well yesterday
00:10:04yemani has launched attack and the first time against the Saudi
00:10:08oil tank in the Gulf of Aiden and it shows clear mass to the Saudi.
00:10:12you can target your ship wherever they are, so north the red sea,
00:10:16in the Arabian sea, in the gulf of Aiden, and I
00:10:20believe that Yemani, they have the ability even to target Saudi oil
00:10:24tanka in. the persian golf so at one point if there is any agreement by the
00:10:28by the United States and Oman, United States and
00:10:32Iran and as well oman and Iran about
00:10:36the pormus canal, I believe that Germany at one point if the Saudi will
00:10:40notuh met Yemani demand, they will continue their attack and they
00:10:44might target their oil infrastructure. I just want to add one more
00:10:48thing, just in the last in about one hour and one hour and a
00:10:51half we have heard two explosion. in the outskirt of
00:10:55San'a, but as and that explosion we
00:10:59thought it was maybe an air strike, but seems to be according to eye
00:11:03witnesses, they have they have seen a missile
00:11:07launch, a track of
00:11:08a missiles, we
00:11:09are not sure where those missiles are hidden, but seems to be that yemani
00:11:13army now have integrate the long range
00:11:16missile with the technology that they have been using with anti
00:11:20ship ballistic missiles, yemen was the first country to use
00:11:24anti ships. ballistic missiles because is known that ballistic
00:11:27missiles can only hit stationary target,
00:11:31target that are not moving, but yemani are using ballistic missiles to
00:11:35target moving target like ships, so i believe in the
00:11:39last attacks in north the toward north the red sea and as well
00:11:43towards a
00:11:44ship and yemani army has been launched in this missiles
00:11:47from central yemen, so i believe that now we we
00:11:51might not only have a short range antiship ballistic.
00:11:55missiles we might have at this point long range antiship ballistic
00:11:58missiles and this actually will damage the
00:12:02saudi ships wherever they are and as well is clear message and a warning
00:12:06message as well to the United States if they will get involved by any way
00:12:10against Yemen or helping Saudi or joining the new coalition formed
00:12:14by Saudis this mean that Yemani as well would target
00:12:17those ships that belong for the United States either commercial or military
00:12:21ships well on that point as always like to think Thank you very much for joining
00:12:25us during this bulletin, of course, activist and political commentator, Mr. Hussein Bukaity
00:12:29joining us there from
00:12:30San. Well, the
00:12:34Israeli regime has attacked the Colondia refugee camp in the
00:12:38occupied West bank for the second consecutive day. Soldiers
00:12:41raided over dozen houses and clashed with Palestinians. They use
00:12:45live fire and tear gas to disperse protesters, angry over the
00:12:49repeated incursions. The Palestinian red cresent says 11
00:12:53people have been injured in Thursday. these attacks. Local
00:12:56Palestinian officials in Columbia say the ongoing military
00:13:00operation involves the destruction of homes, the theft of money
00:13:03and gold and jewelry, the and the conversion of eight
00:13:07residential properties into military barracks. The Israely military
00:13:11says the operation can go on for days in order to root out the
00:13:15quote terrorist infrastructure. Colondia is key artery
00:13:19connecting Romallah and the northern occupied west bank to the occupied
00:13:23eastles and cities. further
00:13:25south.
00:13:30well now joining us with the latest from colonia west bank is our c,
00:13:34as always, thank you very much. what updates you have for us again during the
00:13:38second consecutive day these
00:13:39incursions?
00:13:44thank you, caitlyn, well, you have actually made a quite a
00:13:48summary the situation that is going on
00:13:52now for the second consecutive day - Israeli forces
00:13:55continues to raid qalandia, qarandia refugee
00:13:59camp to the north of occupied al-Quds, as
00:14:03you can see behind me, some the Israeli forces
00:14:07are showing in the camera, where of
00:14:10course we are allowed to stand in this area, we are
00:14:14not allowed to go further beyond this extent,
00:14:18because of course the the the colandia refugee camp have been
00:14:22declared closed military. zone uh,
00:14:26since yesterday, the Israeli forces have intensified their raids
00:14:29inside qalandia, raiding tens of homes
00:14:33and arresting Palestinians, according to an
00:14:37official number from the Palestinian, from the Palestinian
00:14:41prisoners Club, we are looking at plus 60
00:14:44Palestinians who have been arrested, among them are children
00:14:48and women from inside Calandia refugee
00:14:51camp, why is this happening now uh?
00:14:55the entire the entire scene repeats itself in many
00:14:59areas the occupied west bank, the continuous attacks,
00:15:03the the the rates, the stealing from inside the
00:15:07homes, demolishing operations, arresting
00:15:10palestinians, we are seeing these scenes repeating itself, but
00:15:14why it is, it has such a significant
00:15:17importance over here in calandia, we can say uh quickly
00:15:21about three important point, the first thing: is
00:15:25the timing that this military operation is taking
00:15:29place, which is close to the Israeli
00:15:32elections and the Israeli parties continue to
00:15:36put effort to take as much votes from the far
00:15:40right, and of course the far right means attacking more
00:15:43Palestinians, killing more Palestinians, so it's more like a
00:15:46blood for election. The second, the second thing is that we're
00:15:50looking a very strategic area over here.
00:15:54Qalandia links, as you have mentioned, links the entire southern
00:15:58area and links east occupied al-Quds for to
00:16:02towards the towards Ramala and the north the occupied
00:16:05West bank, and one last thing. also or the third point is
00:16:09that this area is considered to be for
00:16:13al-Quds governor, it's so attacking the
00:16:16symbolic of al-quds and attacking the symbolic
00:16:19the right to return for palestinians,
00:16:23this this is more like a core
00:16:26for um, this is more and now of course you can see
00:16:30in the camera the Israeli forces attacking palestinians who are
00:16:34just riding through this uh this road.
00:16:37closing this road in front the palestinian
00:16:40using this main road over
00:16:44here, so the the main thing that the Israeli
00:16:48forces tries to uh to to
00:16:52say all the time and to do all the time is just to by
00:16:55attacking qalandia refugee camp is that the right to
00:16:59return for palestinians is under systematic attack
00:17:03because the core the palestinian, the core the palestinian
00:17:07call is now the right to return and
00:17:11by hitting qalandia and other refugee camps,
00:17:15this right for palestinians is com completely
00:17:18undermined. well yes,
00:17:22mean i as you it's mentioned there and of course as our viewers could see there behind you uh the
00:17:26continuous of course uh actions taken place
00:17:30by the IOF soldiers there. um I do want
00:17:32to ask you in regards to what we have been witnessing uh Israeli forces are saying
00:17:36that this situation Colonia could be continuing for the next a
00:17:40few days as you have mentioned before that they are quoting that they
00:17:44are there to extractor to remove quote terrorist infrastructure. what
00:17:48else you have in that regard? the statements coming out from the zinanis
00:17:51regime?
00:17:55yes, well the Israeli forces have issued an official statement
00:17:59saying that this operation just look like you have mentioned caitlyn could
00:18:03take up to two days or even weeks. there is
00:18:07no... like official prediction about what uh the
00:18:10coming days will hold, but of course the Israelies use these
00:18:14pretenses all the time, hitting the terrorist groups as
00:18:18of course as they say, and not
00:18:22allowing a terrorist infrastructure to widen or to
00:18:26spread in in these areas. this is all the
00:18:29Israeli, the Israeli side or the Israeli army is
00:18:33talking about, they are not giving further information, but
00:18:37but This we have seen this and we have heard this
00:18:41before in the iron wall operation and in many
00:18:45attacks
00:18:45upon a Palestinian refugee camps, they use the same
00:18:49pretenses all the time, hitting terrorist infrastructure
00:18:53and limiting the size of of armed groups in
00:18:57in these areas, but the real face behind these
00:19:01pretenses is always the same, limiting the size the
00:19:04Palestinian, trying to push them out, and of course... attacking the
00:19:08right to return, and naka, I do want to ask you in regards for our viewers to
00:19:12better understand how much is this connected with,
00:19:15as we do, the resistance operations being called from Gaza to the west
00:19:19bank to be upped in that situation, does it have any connection in regards
00:19:23to these continued uh crackdown and escalation as you did mention from the
00:19:27Israelis there as you did mention again in the kudus
00:19:30area,
00:19:35well actually caitlyin yes and no, It is, it is all this, the
00:19:39entire Palestinian situation is connected somehow, and
00:19:43of course everything that happens throughout Palestine,
00:19:46either over here in the West Bank or in Gaza is connected a way,
00:19:50but in another way, no, it's not, because these areas have
00:19:54been, and uh, of course, let's put it between brackets, calm
00:19:58areas, we do not have clashes over here, there has not been
00:20:01any uh, any clear and visible uh
00:20:05armed groups in those areas. and in almost
00:20:09through the entire West Bank, but unfortunately the West Bank
00:20:12has fallen under the attacks, the systematic and the repeated
00:20:16attacks the Israeli, the Israeli soldiers and the Israeli
00:20:20army which are trying to you know make
00:20:24make their uh deterrant force visible in
00:20:28the occupied West bank as it's considered to be the most
00:20:31vulnerable area in which or the most vulnerable uh
00:20:35front that it has been opened. "the Israeli army has
00:20:39failed, almost failed in Gaza, almost failed in Lebanon,
00:20:42and of course failed in Iran, so now the situation is
00:20:46uh is transmitting them itself over here in the occupied..." west bank
00:20:50as it's considered to be under attack and in with under a
00:20:54military pressure by the Israeli forces comes of course the
00:20:58settler violence which is not any less uh threaten
00:21:02to the Palestinians than the attacks than the repeated attacks the
00:21:06Israely forces and I don't want to ask you naka in regard
00:21:09to one the other developments that we have been talking about and of
00:21:13course addition to what you did mention the clashing the arresting of course or the
00:21:17detention excuse me uh and kidnapping by the off of course of
00:21:21palestinians uh there has also been the conversion of eight
00:21:25residential properties into military barracks so is there
00:21:28another of course is this sort of a checkpoint or how can we explain it
00:21:32better for our viewers in this regard? mean of course once these points are put
00:21:36Palestinians are not allowed past them
00:21:38correct?
00:21:43of course and um in many in many of those checkpoints and in
00:21:47many of those road barriers no one is allowed to pass,
00:21:51but over here we're talking about a main lifeline, a
00:21:54main road between the Palestinian cities and towards
00:21:58occupied al-Quds, so the Israeli forces uh have
00:22:02decided to limit the size the movement on that road
00:22:05and not close it entirely. Of course, in neighboring areas,
00:22:09it's worth mentioning that entire entire areas have
00:22:13been close and many the the
00:22:17Columbia refugee camp entrances have. also being
00:22:20closed either by military jeeps or by earth
00:22:24mounts, so what uh, what this comes to is that the
00:22:28Israeli forces are trying to make checkpoints in
00:22:31every single step that the Palestinians are walking
00:22:34through, and a neighboring area of MS Sharay, the Israeli
00:22:38forces has also have also um
00:22:42taken three homes and turn them into military
00:22:45outposts, this is something also repeated for the Palestinians
00:22:49with... have been seeing this uh in many other areas where the
00:22:53Israeli forces just ramped through the homes the Palestinians
00:22:56expels the families out and take these homes because
00:23:00they might be a higher higher place so that they can
00:23:04overview the situation and now we have one more minute I do
00:23:08want to get my last question in regards to kalandi of course you have already mentioned the population
00:23:12there very dense population uh in regards to what has been happening there
00:23:16in the refugee camp - is siige a blockad in regards to
00:23:20food, water also being implemented at the moment or not
00:23:23yet?
00:23:28completely, completely, caitlyn, we have already been
00:23:31receiving calls from inside the
00:23:34kalandia for for families who have no bread and
00:23:38families that the their water have been cut off, families
00:23:41with with illnesses that they need day to day
00:23:44treatment that they need help to to be able to
00:23:48access to med. to medical assistant and towards
00:23:52medicine in in kalandia and this
00:23:56this unfortunately this is developing issue and you
00:24:00know as the hours continue to count so does
00:24:04the humanitarian suffering the palestinians of tens of tens
00:24:07of thousands of palestinian families inside this very
00:24:11small this small yet really populated
00:24:15area on that point as always like to thank you very much for joining us there our
00:24:18correspondent everyone joining us there from Colonia, West
00:24:21Bank. Well, Hiroshima
00:24:25marks the 81st anniversary the US atomic bombing the western
00:24:29Japanese city. Prime Minister Saishi led the
00:24:33commemorations at the peace Memorial Park. She pleged to do
00:24:36everything in her power to realize a world without nuclear weapons and
00:24:40lasting peace. About 50 thousand people, including
00:24:44representatives from some 120 countries and regions
00:24:47attended the ceremony. A US B-29 bomber dropped a
00:24:5115 kil uranium bomb on Hiroshima on the 6th of
00:24:55August 1945, killing an estimated
00:24:58140,000 people. Three days after the
00:25:02devastation in Hiroshima, the US dropped a plutonium bomb
00:25:05on the city of Nagasaki, killing 74,00
00:25:08people. Well,
00:25:12thank you very much everyone for watching this hour's headlines for latest updates, please stay tuned,
00:25:16goodbye.
00:25:40If you want to understand 21st century geopolitics,
00:25:44don't look at speeches, look at corridors and the center
00:25:48of almost all them, Iran, not as a
00:25:51spectator, as a structural necessity. From Washington's
00:25:54perspective, Iran is often framed as a pressure point, but
00:25:58from a geo economic perspective, it is something else entire.
00:26:02the hinge of Eurasia: start with China's belt and road,
00:26:06a free train now runs from Zian straight into aprend
00:26:10dry port, just outside Tehran, what used to take
00:26:1440 days by sea can now take about 15 by
00:26:18rail, and hey, that's not symbolism, that's supply
00:26:22chain redesign, and it quietly places Iran
00:26:25inside the fastest growing east west
00:26:29trade artery on the planet, then there's
00:26:31a north south. is the INSTC linking Russia,
00:26:34Iran and India. A corridor that doesn't just connect
00:26:38economies, it intersects with every major
00:26:42east-west route acrossing Central Asia, and
00:26:45here's where the irony becomes hard to ignore. The more
00:26:49US or some other western plans try to
00:26:53root around Iran, the more physical
00:26:56geography pulls them back through it. Take India's ambition
00:27:00in chabahar, take China. interest in the markran coast:
00:27:04take Russia's need for southern access, three different
00:27:07strategies, same unavoidable note. Iran
00:27:11sits at the intersection of competing systems, BRI or the
00:27:15belt road initiative on one side, INSTC or the
00:27:19international north south transport corridor on another. The US
00:27:22backed IMEC, so callalled India middle east Europe corridor
00:27:26attempting to bypass them entirely, but bypassing
00:27:30Iran is not logistical. It is geopolitical
00:27:34contradiction because even IMEC's logic depends on
00:27:38stable regional connectivity. In region where Iran is
00:27:41structurally unavoidable. Meanwhile, Washington's broader
00:27:45strategy, illegal sanctions, pressure containment
00:27:49was meant to limit Iran's connectivity. Instead,
00:27:53it accelerated parallel systems, rail, ports
00:27:56and overland trade roots that reduce
00:28:00dependence on maritime choke points. and this is the quiet
00:28:04shift most headlines miss: Iran is embedded
00:28:07inside competing integration models, Chinese,
00:28:11Russian, Indian and regional, which raises simple
00:28:15but uncomfortable question: a world being rebuilt through
00:28:18corridors, what happens when the system itself cannot
00:28:22be drawn without you? sometimes the most strategic
00:28:26country is not the one controlling the map, it is the
00:28:30one every version the map. Is forced to pass
00:28:33through, no matter who draws the
00:28:36lines.
