00:04:51$10 billion
00:04:53of dollars. Press TV's Naser Kazmi reports from
00:04:55Islamabad.
00:05:00Pakistan and Iran have
00:05:01of signed memorandum of understanding to deepen trade and commercial
00:05:05cooperation, marking another milestone in their efforts to
00:05:08strengthen
00:05:09a bilateral economic relations. The agreement was signed during the 10th

00:05:24Khan. The two sides reaffirmed their commitment to increasing
00:05:28annual bilateral trade to 10 billion US dollars.
00:05:31It's not something out of reach. I'm quite optimistic
00:05:35that this amount will be reached
00:05:38and uh it's not something that is out of.
00:05:42touch, so there are few things that if
00:05:45we solve it, definitely will be
00:05:49even about that. our discussion were mainly
00:05:53on trade, how we can
00:05:57increase the trade amount
00:05:59with Pakistan,
00:06:03neighboring and brother nation, right beside
00:06:07us. the memorandum outlines a road map for expanding economic
00:06:11cooperation by activating. border economic regions,
00:06:14increasing border trade with greater private sector participation,
00:06:18exchanging technical delegations and immediately
00:06:21implementing existing bilateral agreements.
00:06:25Iranian and Pakistani officials also agreed to continue
00:06:28working toward a formal free trade agreement. The aim is
00:06:32to see and strengthen the bilateral
00:06:36trade relationship in between both the countries for
00:06:39which both the countries leadership have set a
00:06:43target of 10 billion dollars and for that
00:06:46purpose we are seeing those opportunities way
00:06:49forward, the bottle necks
00:06:51which restrict free
00:06:55trade in between the countries, and at the same time we are
00:06:59also working a FTA in between Pakistan and
00:07:03Iran. On the sidelines the committee meeting, business
00:07:07officials of both countries met at the Federation of Pakistan Chambers
00:07:11of Commerce and Industry. They discuss the challenges facing
00:07:15bilateral trade and propose measures to increase commercial
00:07:18exchanges through stronger private sector engagement, improved
00:07:22border infrastructure and simplified trade
00:07:25procedures. Kafi discussion hui, one the key topics
00:07:29discussed with the visiting Iranian minister was the establishment of
00:07:33a joint industrial zone where a wide range of industries could
00:07:37operate. We also discussed the gas pipeline project, since
00:07:40energy is one of Pakistan's. production costs, the pipeline
00:07:44could significantly reduce the cost of gas and electricity in our
00:07:48country. there are also many products that Iran manufactures at
00:07:52very reasonable prices and we intend to import them from
00:07:55Iran. during his visit, minister Atabag met Prime
00:07:59Minister Shahbaz Sharif. he thanked Pakistan for its
00:08:02mediation efforts aimed at ending the war. the United States and
00:08:06Israel launched against Iran earlier this year. the
00:08:10frequency of high level visit suggests Pakistan and Iran
00:08:14are committed to deepening their strategic economic partnership. Both
00:08:18countries are now focused on expanding trade, strengthening industrial
00:08:21cooperation and achieving their shared 10 billion dollar
00:08:25annual trade target. Nasir Kazmi reporting forpress

00:08:35Now going back to our first headline. Press TVs Yahyar from the
00:08:39city of S is standing by with the latest let detail. regarding
00:08:43the um the latest attack the strike that was
00:08:47conducted by the Yemeni Armed
00:08:48forces
00:08:58the latest uh the latest attack on the
00:09:01Saudi forces that was being
00:09:05mobilized in order to start a new aggression
00:09:08against the Yemen people. Yemeni armed forces have worn
00:09:12multiple times Saudi Arabia that resisting in its
00:09:16aggression against Yemen would only uh lead
00:09:19to a full-scale war with the
00:09:23Yemani armed forces and it will not go fine for Saudi
00:09:27Arabia, this operation shows the
00:09:31determinant the Yemen Armed forces
00:09:35on escalating until the siege is left to
00:09:38Yemen, hundreds are being reported to...
00:09:42uh being dead or wonded uh after this
00:09:45operation and the significant part about this that the
00:09:49emergency forces of Saudi
00:09:52Arabia uh were actually launched in
00:09:55late 2025 and it is the
00:09:59main arm of Saudi Arabia in northern
00:10:03Yemen, it is, it has about
00:10:0636,00 recruit
00:10:09and uh they were at their late...
00:10:13mobilization phases, so
00:10:17that was a big blow for them, that would
00:10:20need months to be able to reach the
00:10:24same. level of mobilization
00:10:26again, yeah, here any updates on the
00:10:30situation the straight of bob
00:10:32almanda,
00:10:39the situation is clear
00:10:42that it's just gonna continue until
00:10:46Saudi Arabia left the season yemen and met
00:10:50yemany people requirements, in military
00:10:53updates there's nothing yet
00:10:57been confirmed from
00:11:00here alongside what it's been
00:11:04already announced by the yemini armed

00:12:20As the as the Israeli atrocities continue,

00:12:43so as um as for as for the Israeli
00:12:46side and the Israeli forces of course it's the answer
00:12:50is always suppression but uh from our side the
00:12:54answer. is always to uh to continue
00:12:58coverage and to continue this um to continue
00:13:01making the camera rolling, this is this is a
00:13:05high price that we pay as press tv

00:13:57This regime launches new earth strikes on southern Lebanon in
00:14:01violation of a cease fire deal with the Arab country. The latest strikes

00:14:16Earlier in the day, the regime also conducted an erraid on
00:14:20several areas entire region, wounding at least
00:14:23four people. The attacks forced many residents to leave their
00:14:27homes. Witnesses also cited continuous artillery

00:15:02to erase war crime scenes in Gaza by removing

00:15:10or examine them. the group says this could destroy crucial
00:15:14evidence and the last traces of thousands of people are still missing

00:15:21the Gaza City.
00:15:27For thousands of Palestinians, Gaza's rabel is more than remains
00:15:31of destroyed homes, it is a crime scene. In report
00:15:35this week, euro Mediterranean human rights Monitor said Israel is
00:15:38carrying a large scale operation to remove and crush
00:15:42debris across Gaza before independent investigators and
00:15:46forensic experts can examine the
00:15:49sites. During the genocide, the Israeli army
00:15:52tried to obliterate and efface the war crimes committed against our
00:15:56people, which in itself constitutes a crime. Today, the
00:16:00unknown fate of thousands remains a stressing question for their families

00:16:19what we consider to be crime scenes. We call on international journalists
00:16:23and investigative reporters to press for access to Gaza and document this
00:16:27continuing genocide. According to the
00:16:30Geneva Based Rights monitor, at least 10 million tons of
00:16:34rubble have already been cleared with around 100. Israeli trucks
00:16:38entering eastern and southern parts the gaza strip each

00:18:14Yemen's arm forces continue enforcing naval blockade on
00:18:18Saudi shipping, a maritime tracking service has reported a
00:18:21sharp drop and shipping traffic through the straight of Bobal
00:18:25Mandab. The report by Keppler said only one
00:18:29commodity vessel crossed the Bob Almandab on Wednesday, down
00:18:33from 20 the previous day. It said average of 41
00:18:37ships. crossed the strategic waterway each day and a
00:18:40week before the naval blockade was announced. the report comes
00:18:44following yemen's armed forces a spokesperson announcing on
00:18:48Wednesday that the country's forces have targeted eight saudi
00:18:52oil tankers since the blockade began on July
00:18:5622nd. he added that 29 Saudi oil tankers
00:19:00have been prevented from proceeding and forced to turn back in the Red
00:19:04Sea and the Arabian sea. Yemen has been on the rate.
00:19:07decade-l blockade by Saudi Arabia following years
00:19:11of war and tentative truth. The situation
00:19:15escalated again after a Saudi attack on San Az international
00:19:18airport. Since then, Yemen has
00:19:21been implementing a blockade for blockate policy on
00:19:24Riyadh.
00:19:29Political commentator Hussein Albuiti says the Yemen Army's blockade
00:19:33on Saudi vessels have significantly affected the country's oil
00:19:37export.
00:19:41after the closure the hormos straight because the
00:19:45aggression from the zionis
00:19:46and the United States, Saudi has moved all the oil from the
00:19:50Persian golf through pipeline toward Yambor north
00:19:54the Reid sea so the Saudis when they would transfer their oil and
00:19:57exporting their oil through Yambor in the Reid they will make
00:20:00huge profit but at that time when Yemen has
00:20:03announced that they will form a blue cade against Saudi Arabia bef that
00:20:07they have requested Saudi implement the truth, implement the agreement
00:20:11that was signed in 2022, but the Saudi has been so
00:20:15ignorant,
00:20:15but then when yemen have blocked the red sea, they
00:20:19were targeting ships in the south the red sea
00:20:23going to toward mandab, but still Saudi will braging out
00:20:27loud and saying that timb is still working and the and it doesn't
00:20:31effect them and
00:20:32they are using the swiss canal or the so-called
00:20:36sumid pipeline. in Egypt which connect north the red sea
00:20:39to the Mediterranean sea, that's why we've seen that in the last 40 hour,
00:20:4348 hours, yemani army has launched a missile
00:20:47attack against a Saudi oil tanker. that was in the north
00:20:51the red sea going from towards Swiss canal and this
00:20:54is the first time that Germany has done so and the spoke person of Yemen
00:20:58Army have said clearly now we are gonna target all ships in the
00:21:01north the Reid so Saudi will not be able to bypass the babal mandab
00:21:05through the
00:21:07the Swiss canal. Japan
00:21:10is marking 81 years since the United States dropped

00:21:22officials and delegates from many countries have attended the memorial

00:21:48of August 6th. turned into a time of tragedy the world will never
00:21:52forget. when the little boy was dropped on the city, 70,00
00:21:56people were incinerated immediately. another 70,00 died of

00:22:2181 years on, the Japanese nation is still grieving.
00:22:25Thousands including aging survivors, relatives and government
00:22:28officials attended the annual ceremony at Hiroshima Peace Memorial
00:22:32Park. Speaking at the ceremony, Japanese prime minister said the
00:22:36lessons of Hiroshima must not be forgotten. Hiroshima, the
00:22:39devastation rought by the atomic bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki, and
00:22:43the unspeakable suffering endured by so many must never be
00:22:46repeated. Our nation firmly upholds the three non-nuclear. principles
00:22:50and as the world's only country to have suffered atomic bombings and
00:22:54war, bears the mission of tirelessly continuing efforts toward the
00:22:57realization of a world without nuclear weapons. The
00:23:01Japanese are hoping for a world free from nuclear weapons so that other
00:23:05people will have to go through similar tragedy. But in a world where nuclear
00:23:09states are spending hundreds of billions of dollars to upgrade their atomic
00:23:12arsenals, that appears to be a farfetched wish. The United
00:23:16States is the only country that ever used nuclear weapons against its.

00:25:04t, which means strength, weakness, opportunities and
00:25:08threat, and that is how Iranians have treated sanctions by
00:25:12turning it into strength, and today
00:25:15Iran produces over 90% of its
00:25:19food.
00:25:19consumption,
00:25:34according to the most recent sensors, Iran has 90 million
00:25:38people, or over 90 million people, and this
00:25:41produces over 90% the food that its people
00:25:44needs. It is so self-sufficient in creating food and
00:25:48producing food that
00:25:49it is also... exporting to other countries. There are only
00:25:53very few countries that have been able to attain over
00:25:5670% of food sufficiency according to the
00:25:59UN, and those countries are China.
00:26:02Russia, the United States and Iran is also one
00:26:06them, but the difference is Iran is heavily
00:26:10sanction.
00:26:18According to UN estimates, export of agricultural
00:26:22products now amounts for 12% of Iran's
00:26:26total GDP. When you compare that to the
00:26:30countries around Iran that are: well relatively
00:26:34much, much richer than Iran, but they cannot
00:26:37produce even 2% the food that they consume,
00:26:41countries like Saudi Arabia, like Kuwait, like
00:26:45Oman, what we can argue that some these countries are
00:26:48experiencing drought and the geography does not allow for
00:26:52food production, but one the lies we've been told is that
00:26:56to be self-sufficient in food and consumption, you have
00:26:59to be very, very rich, you can... also compare that to
00:27:03African countries that have huge hurriable land that
00:27:07allow them to be able to farm, but most
00:27:11African countries still import over 70% the
00:27:15food they
00:27:15consume,
00:27:39One thing Iran has taught us from the very first moment that I've been
00:27:43covering sanctions around the world and especially in Iran, whether it is
00:27:47from the military doctrine to their technology when
00:27:51it comes to medicine or the ability to be able to produce your own
00:27:54food, is that when a nation takes a
00:27:58decision that it can do it, it will find
00:28:01ways. whether you're sanctioned by everybody in the world or you're
00:28:05sanctioned by the United
00:28:07States,
00:28:23if war begins, this time it will not remain within Iran's borders.
00:28:26Washington did not take Tyran's warning seriously, but followed was a widening
00:28:30battlefield, Israel and... West bases in Saudi Arabia, the
00:28:34UAE, Qatar, Bahrain, and Kuwait came under
00:28:37attack. The war began in the skies, but soon reached the veins the economy. Then
00:28:41tran issued its next warning, if Iran's infrastructure is
00:28:45targeted, your infrastructure will be targeted as well, and the world
00:28:49quickly understood that even silence and neutrality in this war could carry heavy
00:28:52price, but Iran's next warning is even more
00:28:55consequential. The war could become extra
00:28:59regional. No official evidence says that all recent incidents
00:29:02are connected, but this is where the central question begins: when Iran
00:29:06speaks of an extra regional war, does it only mean an
00:29:10expansion of geography, or does it refer to a chain of energy
00:29:14routes, ports, military bases, markets and the global
00:29:17economy? United States once ignored Iran's warning about the
00:29:20regionalization of war and it is still dealing with the costs.
00:29:24now the question is, if Washington ignores the warning of an extra
00:29:28regional war this time as well. will it be able to pay the price?
