00:01:00In the name of God, the most compassionate, the most merciful, I am Bahman Roy, and this
00:01:04is Press TV news. Iran's top security
00:01:08official tells Press
00:01:09of TV an exclusive interview that the US has suffered defeat after
00:01:13defeat against Iran, and that is why Washington has turned to
00:01:17economic war against the
00:01:19country. The
00:01:23enemy suffered major defeat in the 12-day war and then again in the 40-day
00:01:27war. They resorted to
00:01:29of naval blockade, but that led them nowhere and recently they launched
00:01:33of economic isolation plan.
00:01:34in they faced defeat in almost
00:01:36in every single campaign they launched, but we stayed put pursuing our plans and
00:01:40neutralized all those campaigns with accurate planning and
00:01:43calculations. major
00:01:46general mosen reiz said the US has failed even to end the
00:01:50board. the secretary
00:01:51of the supreme national security council said an end is in the
00:01:55hands of Iran and Iran will not stop its resistance until it
00:01:59gets what its rightfully it her. Razay
00:02:02added that the US is at the root
00:02:04of the problem concerning the straight of hormoos, the general said Iran seeks
00:02:08management
00:02:09of the straight to ensure regional security, especially in the Persian
00:02:13gulf. He also rejected the US's claim that
00:02:15it is transporting major amounts of oil through the key water
00:02:19bay. The general said the US is only using smugglers to
00:02:23transport negligable amounts of oil while the straight remains
00:02:26closed.
00:02:56in
00:02:58of
00:03:12of This is smuggling job along the southern side
00:03:17of of the straight that costs dearly and has numerous risks. Then Trump says the
00:03:20straight is open. Then again, he says, "I transport
00:03:24oil, but natural gas is not transiting. The same goes
00:03:28for helium and fertilizers."
00:03:35of AI
00:03:38centers will be strugg
00:03:40in if the US wages
00:03:41of another act of aggression against Iran. He said Iran still has untouched
00:03:45of targets in the UAE and a straight of homose that will be hit in case of
00:03:49new aggression. He said those targets are worth nearly two trillion
00:03:53dollars and formed the beating heart
00:03:55of the US
00:03:56economy.
00:04:01It was in late February that the US carried out a strike a school in Iran's
00:04:05southern city of Minab
00:04:07of in that killed 168 civilians. Now an interview with Press
00:04:11TV, deputy foreign minister Kazam Garbadi said
00:04:14of Tan is determined to pursuit case
00:04:17of of the deadly US attack via international legal channels. He added that some
00:04:21international lawyers have also expressed interest the in the
00:04:27of case,
00:04:29in accordance. with international law and international humanitarian
00:04:32law, the
00:04:34of children, the educational centers, hospitals
00:04:38a infrastructures are immune from attack, but unfortunately the
00:04:41United States of America violated all these
00:04:45international principles and disregard, so we are
00:04:49so determined to help this issue not only at the
00:04:53level
00:04:53of the domestic course, but also at the level
00:04:56of the f courts and international judicial system
00:04:59the United state should be held accountable and responsible for the crime that
00:05:03has committed and just to god the international humanitarian
00:05:07law principles, human rights law
00:05:11of principles and also international law. principles and the provisions the charter the
00:05:14united nations, all these
00:05:18prohibiting actually attacking the children and
00:05:21educational
00:05:26and also
00:05:26countries even in the United States of America, they have showed interest in
00:05:30this issue and some them on the voluntary basis,
00:05:33so started some investigation and
00:05:37also they have opened some cases before the judicial
00:05:41against
00:05:41the god so... "I think that that's a very good
00:05:45move, I believe that that's the responsibility
00:05:49the the various people in the European
00:05:52countries that claiming, so that that is very, very
00:05:56important and we support all these moves and also if they need
00:06:00any evidencees so they can contact us, also they can
00:06:04contact the civil society in Iran, we will provide them with all
00:06:08necessary evidences to let them to pursue those
00:06:11judicial cases."
00:06:16The enemy armed forces spokesman says a major wave of
00:06:20long-range missile and drain strikes has targeted key airports and energy
00:06:24infrastructure across Saudi
00:06:26Arabia.
00:06:30The armed forces carried out for qualitative operations in the past 24
00:06:33hours using ballistic and cruise missiles and drones. The
00:06:37first operation targeted in three phases King Khalid International Airport in
00:06:41Riyad. resulting in the disruption of air traffic and the complete closure the
00:06:45airport. The second operation targeted the Sugar Dam gas
00:06:49facility belonging to Arenko in the eastern province and resulted in large
00:06:53fires breaking out at the targeted site. The third
00:06:57operation targeted the Arenco tanajib oil refinery in the eastern
00:07:00province and resulted in ignition in it. The fourth
00:07:04operation targeted King Ford International Airport in
00:07:07Daman.
00:07:12general Yaya Sari added that Yemani forces deployed six ballistic
00:07:16missiles and two drones against Saudi back troops in Babel Mandab
00:07:19region. He said that the attacks are in response to over
00:07:23124 Saudi-backed air strikes across Yemen
00:07:26in just 24 hours. Yaya Sari reiterated the morning
00:07:30against using Saudi airports except those in Mecca and Medina
00:07:34declaring them potential targets. He said operations would continue
00:07:38to escalate under the prince would continue to escalate under the principle.
00:07:42of escalation for escalation and blockade for blockade on siege are
00:07:46brought to an
00:07:47end.
00:07:51The American President Donald Trump says Ukraine and Russia have agreed to
00:07:55immediate energy cease fire. Trump did not provide any more
00:07:59details about the deal. He urged both sides to refrain from
00:08:03violating the agreement. Following Trump's remarks Ukrainian president Vuladimir
00:08:06Zelensky said he was surprised about the announcement describing it
00:08:10as unheard news. but said he would agree to it
00:08:14if his Russian counterpart did the same. Vladimir Putin has
00:08:18yet to make a comment. The deal comes a day after Trump said Russia
00:08:22agreed to release 30000 tons of diesel
00:08:25immediately to the American and global market
00:08:28place. Ukrainian
00:08:31President, Ukrainian President, President Donald
00:08:34Trump's called for Ukraine. President Donald Trump's call for Ukraine to
00:08:38pick new leader.
00:08:43President Trump said that um that we need Ukraine
00:08:47needs new president, so first of all with all respect to president
00:08:50Trump, it's
00:08:54up to our society, up to our people to
00:08:57choose one or another
00:09:00leader.
00:09:04In an interview with ABC news, Zelensky said conducting such an
00:09:08election violates Ukrainian law and constitution.
00:09:12remarks came day after Trump said Ukraine needed a new president
00:09:16would agree to end the war. The exchange is the latest a long
00:09:20history of tensions between the two presidents, which previously included a
00:09:24heated Oval Office
00:09:25confrontation.
00:09:30Donald Trump's announced deal to buy diesel from Russia has not
00:09:34gone down done well with the Americans. Social media reactions
00:09:37reveal growing anger over Trump's move, especially after his repeated
00:09:41statements. insisting that European countries should stop buying
00:09:45Russian oil, users are now arguing that the surge in the US fuel
00:09:49prices is results of Trump's failed war against
00:09:52Iran, not the war in
00:09:54Ukraine.
00:09:59If you're going to win you're going to have to not buy oil from Russia. Europe is, they're
00:10:03my friends, but they're buying oil from Russia, so we
00:10:07can't be expected to be the only ones that are on full
00:10:11bore. I put a...
00:10:25for buying russian fuel because he understand fuel and means that you're
00:10:29giving fuel fuel and means that you're giving fuel to Putin who
00:10:33will then use the money after selling said oil to buy more weapons
00:10:37and manufacture more weapons to then use inside Ukraine
00:10:41which then just prolongs the war so he understands the concept but
00:10:45he doesn't
00:10:45want to follow his own
00:10:46words
00:10:50so it turns out Trump's plan to buy Russian diesel is blatantly illegal
00:10:54there's the law. below and it basically says, it can't
00:10:58happen until Congress certifies with 30 days notice that the
00:11:02war in Ukraine is over, which is absolutely not. This is how
00:11:05stupid they are, Trump is evil, this is
00:11:09absurd, and there all bunch
00:11:11of damn traits, because remember, we're at war with Iran, and the
00:11:15Iranians are using Russian satellite intelligence to kill American
00:11:19soldiers.
00:11:26Russia attacked Ukraine for years and a half ago. Russian oil was
00:11:30sanctioned since then, prices of diesel were fine in America. Prices
00:11:34went up only after the war in Iran started. Stop blaming
00:11:37Ukraine, blame Trump and
00:11:39corporations.
00:11:45It's a massive amount of massive oil coming into our country, and it's
00:11:49diesel, it's actually 300 thous tons. The
00:11:53US uses 500 thousand. tons per day, so it's about
00:11:5616 massive our
00:11:57supply.
00:12:03Trump is making American taxpayers send cash to Putin. No
00:12:06diesel fuel will ever come from Russia. Prices in the US
00:12:10won't go down, because the cause of fuel inflation is Trump's disastrous
00:12:14war against
00:12:14Iran.
00:12:19Russia and Ukraine have been at war for years and diesel prices didn't
00:12:23hit record highs and after Trump attacked
00:12:26Iran.
00:12:32Trump got 300 thousand tons of diesel from Putin, that's
00:12:352.5 million barrels. The US consumes
00:12:393.5 to 4 million barrels of diesel a day.
00:12:43Trump got one half a day's worth of diesel off Putin, paying more for fuel
00:12:47so Israel can kill its neighbors. Isn't something I'm interested
00:12:50in?
00:12:58The Israeli occupation forces continued their violations across Lebanon as
00:13:02a civilian was killed by war remnants in the
00:13:05south. War plane struck several towns across the south while
00:13:09heavy shelling pounded border areas. The IOF aircraft
00:13:13also flew over Beirot debecca and
00:13:16Nabatia. In frown a war remnants exploded near
00:13:20citizens picking olives, killing one person and injuring
00:13:23others. Meanwhile has. said the
00:13:27region is waiting for the Iranian American
00:13:29negotiations. Fadlallah stressed a need to remain
00:13:32steadfast and uphold resistance's legitimate right to
00:13:35defend
00:13:42with its genocidal attacks across the genocidal attacks across the
00:13:46gaza strip killing and injuring more Palestinians. A
00:13:49seven-year-old child died from injuries after being shot by Israeli
00:13:53forces in Jabalia refug. camp, medical sources report
00:13:57at least six other Palestinians were killed across Gaza on
00:14:00Sunday, bringing the number of fatalities since the cease fire to
00:14:04effect to 1,488. In
00:14:08a broader picture, Israel's genocidal war since October
00:14:112023, has taken the lives of over
00:14:1374,370 Palestinians while
00:14:17entering 175,00
00:14:20others.
00:14:26Residents across Gaza woke up to wide spread destruction after wave of
00:14:30Israeli bombardment hit homes and neighborhoods, family said they fled
00:14:33with little more than clothes that they were wearing, losing their last
00:14:37shelters and belongings. Now with winter approaching many of
00:14:41once again left wondering where they can
00:14:44go.
00:14:50Last night, it all started when people suddenly began calling us to get
00:14:53out. I have. two sons with disabilities, so I carried them down
00:14:57to the street. We rushed out with nothing, not even knowing where the
00:15:01attack was targeting. As you can see, the whole area now
00:15:05lies in ruins. We have lost our last shelters and
00:15:08homes. Where will we go
00:15:10now?
00:15:17This area is densely populated with civilians with no military
00:15:21presence. After the attack, we returned to find this.
00:15:25station, most homes have been either completely or partially
00:15:29destroyed, how long will this go on? we have been
00:15:32displaced dozens of times, yet the suffering remains the
00:15:36same. i los
00:15:53out without we all rushed out without what could
00:15:57anyone possib what could anyone
00:16:00We all possib rushed by the time we made it by the time we made it
00:16:04it is painful to see the home
00:16:06it is painful to see the home it is painful to see the home
00:16:10reduced to ruins, reduced to ruins
00:16:13building, and now we all have to building, and now we all
00:16:17have
00:16:23to in gaza city, minasal jabur reports that
00:16:27one year after the cease fire in the gaza strip, the Israeli regime continues
00:16:31its illegal expansion, gradually pushing this so-called yellow
00:16:34line further into Palestinian territory.
00:16:41after year of what is so called the seasfire agreement which is
00:16:45talk effect in 2025 yesterday's
00:16:48night the Israeli army just moved and advanced to
00:16:52the neighborhood in the eastern areas of shajaya
00:16:55neighborhood and moved the and and the placed the
00:16:59yellow cubes here in the the neighborhood as you see
00:17:02here the block is behind me and the residence were afraid and
00:17:06they have panic and fear to move and to evacuate
00:17:10another time for maybe 10th or or or 12th
00:17:14time from their places and they left all these destroyed
00:17:17homes to leave and to move to another nowhere,
00:17:21they don't have tents, they don't have another homes, they don't have anything to
00:17:25be saved in or to have it like a shelter, so people
00:17:29in people of ash neighborhood are living in fear and they evacuated
00:17:33immediately after the Israeli occupation or the Israeli army members
00:17:37came at the night
00:17:38at this night and move this after heavy gun shoot
00:17:42fire towards and against civilians who are residence
00:17:45here uh the cease fire is no real cease fire
00:17:49about year about year a complete year with no cease fire and the israeli
00:17:53violations continued and still making so many crimes and
00:17:57people day and people die day after day and people injured day
00:18:01after day and the international law and the international committees just
00:18:05watch in silence. South
00:18:08Koreans have demonstrated in downtown soul on Sunday to call
00:18:12attention to the continuing US Israri genocide in Gaza and the
00:18:16US war on Iran. They slamed US President Donald Trump and Israely
00:18:20Prime Minister Netanyahu as war criminals pressed TV
00:18:23correspondent Frank Smith reports from the South Korean Capital
00:18:27Soul.
00:18:32Palestinians, west Asians and people from all over join South
00:18:36Koreans to march and in downtown soul to draw attention
00:18:39to the genocide in Gaza now marking three years.
00:18:43Palestinians express their gratitude in solidarity on
00:18:47this global day of action for Palestine. From
00:18:51Palestine to Korea, from Gaza to all the peoples the world,
00:18:55we will remain united because justice knows no borders, because
00:18:59our freedom is interconnected, and because our destinies are intertwined.
00:19:03We will not stop until the genocide ends, until wars and
00:19:06occupation. and come to an end, and until every people achieve
00:19:10freedom, dignity, and the right to self-determination. Colonial settler
00:19:14identities are seen to contribute to enabling action and
00:19:18failure the international community to end the conflict.
00:19:22Part of why these uh superpowers are not acting
00:19:26against uh Israel's genocide, is because then they
00:19:30would have to confront their own genocide that they have historically committed
00:19:34against the native people, for instance the native Americans or...
00:19:37Aboriginal people in Australia. U.S. president Donald Trump has
00:19:41rubber stamped Israel's genocide with weapons and diplomatic
00:19:45cover for Israel, drawing harsh criticism.
00:19:49Protesters and with that is so much for staying with
00:19:52us on Press TV so much for staying with us on Press
00:19:55TV.
00:20:40Hello everyone, this is John Mimer, and the
00:20:44subject I'd like to talk about today is the Trump
00:20:48administration's. strategy
00:20:52for dealing with the Iran war, in other
00:20:56words, the Trump administration's latest
00:20:59strategy for winning the war against
00:21:03Iran, getting the Iranians to surrender
00:21:06to uh the president's demands, and what
00:21:10is happening for the past few weeks is that
00:21:14the administration has been waging a
00:21:18propaganda campaign. in the mainstream media
00:21:21to convince the Iranians that they're
00:21:25doomed and that the tide has clearly turned
00:21:28in America's favor and they better cut a deal
00:21:32now uh the sooner they cut the deal the
00:21:36better for them uh because we are
00:21:40inflicting massive punishment on them and in fact President
00:21:43Trump is threatening to annihilate uh Iran
00:21:47if it uh Iran if "it doesn't
00:21:50surrender uh, now the
00:21:54mainstream media, unsupply playing along with the
00:21:57administration, and all the claims that the
00:22:01administration makes about what's happening and
00:22:05what that means for Iran are repeated
00:22:08endlessly in the mainstream media, you see this even
00:22:12in outlets like al-Jazera uh and
00:22:16certainly in outlets like the Wall Street Journal."
00:22:20"and I would also note that hardly anyone ever
00:22:24throws any cold water on the claims that the
00:22:28administration makes, um, it's really
00:22:32quite remarkable, the administration says it's going to move these
00:22:35military forces to the Middle East, and it's going to have such and such an
00:22:39effect, and uh, nobody really assesses
00:22:43whether these claims make any sense,
00:22:47and what I'd like to do in this..." episode
00:22:50is explain to you uh exactly
00:22:54what I think the administration is up to with this
00:22:58propaganda campaign uh and tell you why
00:23:02I think it is not going to work. I i
00:23:05think this attempt to in effect
00:23:09hoodwink the Iranians into surrendering,
00:23:13convincing them uh that they are doomed and they
00:23:17are on the verge of catastrophic defeat uh is not
00:23:20going to work, and it's not going to work in large part, because the facts tell
00:23:24you otherwise, uh, and further more, it's
00:23:28in my opinion, almost impossible at this point in
00:23:31time to fool the Iranians into
00:23:35thinking uh, that it's time for them to
00:23:38surrender. now, the way I'd like to proceed is I'd
00:23:42like to describe, the two
00:23:45prog, the two progs the
00:23:48administration's approach. prong and then there's a
00:23:51military prong, it's a two-pronged approach, and what I want to do is
00:23:55describe each of those prons, starting with the economic and then going
00:23:59to the military, and then in reverse order
00:24:03explain to you why I think that the
00:24:06administration's claims are
00:24:09bogus, so let me start off with what's
00:24:13going on in the economic realm, first of
00:24:17all the administration is argument that the
00:24:21blockade coupled with secretary the
00:24:25treasury bessen policy of
00:24:28strangling Iran's economy by cutting it
00:24:32off from its economic dealings
00:24:35with the rest the world words this two part other words this
00:24:39two part offensive this two part economic
00:24:42offensive part one the blockade part two the beson
00:24:46strategy what's sometimes called operation.
00:24:50economic outcast
00:24:52that these two things are uh
00:24:55throttling the Iranian economy to
00:24:59the point uh where it is
00:25:02collapsing, that's the sort of first strand the economic
00:25:05argument, the second strand the economic argument
00:25:09is that we in the west are actually doing very well
00:25:13because large amounts of oil are now
00:25:16coming out the Persian Gulf and in fact, "there's
00:25:20almost as much oil now coming out
00:25:24the Gulf as there was on February 27th, which of course
00:25:28was the day before the war started, so the
00:25:32Iranians efforts to shut
00:25:36down the straight of Hormus have failed uh
00:25:39and in fact we're basically uh back to point
00:25:43where uh the flow of oil uh is
00:25:47coming out at normal rates uh" and this
00:25:51means that we have time on our time on our side,
00:25:55there's no need for the United States or the west more generally to Cave
00:25:58and to Iran, and again the first part the argument is that the Iran
00:26:02economy on the other hand is in danger of
00:26:06going off cliff, in fact is about to go off
00:26:10cliff, so that's the economic argument that the
00:26:13administration is spending, and again the mainstream media
00:26:16tells time after time, then there's the
00:26:20military dimension, now it's very important to understand that
00:26:24nothing is going on of any consequence at
00:26:28the military level at this point in time, there's no bombing.
00:26:32campaign on the part the United States or any of its
00:26:35allies, um, and uh, further
00:26:39more, there's no evidence that ground forces are going to be
00:26:42inserted uh, anytime soon,
00:26:45uh, but what's happening is that the
00:26:49administration is making a big dealration is making a
00:26:53big deal out the fact that it is sending
00:26:5710,00 more troops to the
00:27:00Gulf, and... Furthermore, it is moving
00:27:04into the Gulf. According to the conventional wisdom, there are two
00:27:07carriers already there, which means that when this new
00:27:11carrier, this is the USS Teddy Roosevelt, when the
00:27:15USS Teddy Roosevelt arrives, we'll have three
00:27:18carriers, the other two carriers,
00:27:20and I'll talk more about this as we go along, are the USS, George
00:27:24Washington, and uh, the USS, George
00:27:28H.W. Bush, so with the addition the Roosevelt,
00:27:32have three carriers, which is a formidable strike force, so the
00:27:36argument goes. addition, and addition,
00:27:40you're introducing 10,00 more troops
00:27:43into the region, and there are already
00:27:47about 50,000 troops in the region, so
00:27:5110,00 more troops plus the 50,000 troops that are
00:27:54there means that you will have about 60,000 troops
00:27:58in the region, and uh, you will have, three
00:28:02carriers, and the argument is that the United States
00:28:06will uh countenance using military force
00:28:10and in fact use military force if necessary after the
00:28:14mid-term elections, so it'll take some time to get these
00:28:17additional forces to the Gulf, and once they get there and
00:28:21everything is set up, this will be after the midterm elections, then
00:28:25President Trump will be free to use that military
00:28:28force, both the...
00:28:32naval air power and the ground power
00:28:36uh to bring the Iranians to their knees, if that's not
00:28:40already been done through economic means by that
00:28:44point in time. so what do we make
00:28:48of this propaganda campaign? effort by the administration to spin,
00:28:52effort by the administration to spin a story
00:28:55that Iran is in deep trouble and we're a
00:28:59position where we can finish it off both economically and
00:29:02militarilly uh,
00:29:04as I said, I think the story is deeply flawed, and let me explain to you
00:29:08why, and let me, and let
00:29:11me start with the military part the
00:29:15story, and let me start with the
00:29:19business, with the business about the carriers
00:29:23and the air power that will becos that
00:29:26will finish off Iran
00:29:29after the midterm elections. first question you
00:29:33want to ask yourself is if we had a
00:29:3640-day strategic bombing campaign April
00:29:408th and it failed, why does anybody
00:29:44think that this new strategic bombing
00:29:47campaign which is going to come with the addition of
00:29:50carriers to the Gulf is going to bring the
00:29:53Iranians to their knees? I mean, how do you get
00:29:57a military victory this time when you couldn't get it in the 40-day
00:30:01campaign? "the other point, which is of enormous importance,
00:30:05is that almost everybody agrees that we have a munitions
00:30:08crisis, uh, and one the reasons that the
00:30:11United States is not now engaged in bombing
00:30:15Iran or engaging in titfertat
00:30:19strikes with the Iranians, is because we have a significant
00:30:23shortage of munitions, so the question you want to ask yourself
00:30:27is how are we going to..."
