00:00:05of Iran security chief tells Press TV that the U.S. response to Tehran's
00:00:09conditions for reopening this rator for moves is inadequate and
00:00:13contains ambiguities that must be
00:00:16cleared. The IRGC navy warns all vessels
00:00:19not to turn off their navigation systems during Hurmus transit
00:00:23saying all ships doing this will be considered hostile and
00:00:27targeted and The Yemini armed forces
00:00:31spokesman says a major wave of long-range missile and drone
00:00:34strikes has targeted key airports and energy infrastructure
00:00:38across Saudi
00:00:39Arabia.
00:00:55Hello everyone, you're watching Press TV live from the studios
00:00:59in. Thank you for joining
00:01:01us. Now an exclusive interview
00:01:05with Press TV, Iran's
00:01:06of top security official says
00:01:08of Washington's response to Tehran's
00:01:10in seven conditions
00:01:11in a proposal to reopen the strategic straight for moves is
00:01:14inadequate. Major General Mosen Razi said the United States
00:01:18must first clarify those issues that remain ambiguous
00:01:22for
00:01:22Iran.
00:01:27Over the past two months, the Americans made proposals. to us through three
00:01:30channels, Pakistan, Qatar, and even Iraq, and asked
00:01:34us to give them our own proposals. We announced seven conditions to the
00:01:38of Americans. If you do not act on these conditions, neither will
00:01:41the straight of Hormus be opened to you, nor will there be any
00:01:44negotiations. The Americans have now given
00:01:47a response. In their response, they have accepted some of our
00:01:50conditions, and there are some ambiguities. Therefore, the Americans
00:01:54have responded to us. We are not in the process of responding to the
00:01:58Americans. The Americans have... responded to us and we consider their
00:02:02response
00:02:02insufficient. General
00:02:06Razi added that the Americans must remove those parts that are
00:02:10considered ambiguous by Iran and Tehran is waiting to see whether they can
00:02:14remove those ambiguities before heading to the next stages.
00:02:18Elsewhere in his interview, Razali said, the US has suffered defeat
00:02:21after defeat against Ivan, and that's why Washington has turned
00:02:25to economic war against the
00:02:27country.
00:02:33The enemy
00:02:33of suffered major defeat in
00:02:35a the 12-day war and then again in the 40-day war, they resorted to
00:02:38naval blockade, but that
00:02:40of led them nowhere, and recently, they launched economic isolation
00:02:44plan, they faced defeat in
00:02:45of almost every single campaign they launched, but we stayed put pursuing our
00:02:49plans and neutralized all those campaigns with accurate planning and
00:02:53calculations.
00:03:00Now the general said the US has failed even to end this war of
00:03:04aggression, he stressed that to that the option to end the aggression
00:03:08is in the hands of Iran and Iranians and will not stop
00:03:11their resistance
00:03:13of until they get what is rightfully theirs. General Razay
00:03:17added that the US is the root cause
00:03:19of the problem concerning the straight of Hurmus. The general said
00:03:22Iran seeks management
00:03:24of the straight to ensure regional security, especially in the
00:03:27Persian Gulf. He
00:03:29of rejected... Washington's claim that
00:03:31it is transporting major amounts of oil through the key waterway.
00:03:35Razi said the US is only using smugglers to
00:03:38transport negligible amounts of oil while the straight
00:03:41remains
00:03:42closed.
00:03:48The Yemani arm forces spokesman says a major wave of long-range missile
00:03:52and drone strikes has targeted key airports and energy
00:03:55infrastructure across Saudi
00:03:57Arabia.
00:04:01The
00:04:01in armed forces carried out for qualitative operations in the past 24 hours
00:04:05using ballistic and cruise missiles and drones. The first
00:04:09operation targeted in three phases King Khalid International Airport in
00:04:13Riad, resulting in the disruption of air traffic and the complete closure
00:04:17of the airport. The second operation targeted the Sugar Dam
00:04:20gas facility belonging to Arenko in the eastern province and resulted in
00:04:24large fires breaking out at the targeted site.
00:04:28The third operation targeted. the arenko tanajib oil refinery in the eastern
00:04:32province and resulted in ignition in it. The fourth
00:04:36operation targeted King Ford International Airport in
00:04:39in Daman.
00:04:43Brigadier general Yahya Sariy added that missiles and two
00:04:47drones against Saudi missiles and two
00:04:49of drones against Saudi back troops in Bable Mandeb region. He said the attacks
00:04:53all in response to over 124 Saudi-backed air
00:04:57strikes across Yemen in 24 hours. Yahya
00:05:00Sari reiterated the warning against using Saudi
00:05:04airports airports except those in Mecca and Medina
00:05:07declaring them potential targets. He said operations would
00:05:11continue to esc. late under the principle of escalation for
00:05:14escalation and blockade for blockade until Saudi military
00:05:18aggression and the siege are brought to an
00:05:20end.
00:05:29This is while military and strategic analyst Ali ham believes Saudi
00:05:33Arabia is losing the war in Yemen and is now begging other countries
00:05:37for help. Let's
00:05:38see listen. The
00:05:42Saudis. are losing the strategic war, why? because the
00:05:45yemanies are not in need of water passes or to
00:05:49pass through babel or somewhere
00:05:52else. they are, they they are very
00:05:56close to to africa, they are at the edge of
00:06:00oman sea, at the shore of oman sea, red
00:06:04sea, and they are very close to oman sea, also the Arabian
00:06:08sea, Saudi Arabia is
00:06:11ensure. strategy, luck of strategy
00:06:15to go into war against Yemen for
00:06:19exper,
00:06:20you know, they experienced such war for eight years
00:06:23with huge allies and more
00:06:26more effective and strongest allies
00:06:30ever for eight years before, and they did not
00:06:34succeed, now they are trying with some mercenaries, they are trying to
00:06:38help for the triple agreements in Mecca from
00:06:41Turkey and
00:06:42the Pakistan, the
00:06:44you know it gets to Muhammad bin Salman to ask the
00:06:48support of Al-Julani to send some mercenaries to al
00:06:52Yeman to fight on behalf of Saudi Arabia,
00:06:56so we see that Saudi Arabia for such
00:07:00escalation, it's exactly remind us
00:07:03of what happened during Yemen
00:07:06supporting Gaza, saying escalation
00:07:10against escalation. uh airport against
00:07:14airport and this is exactly what happened and it's
00:07:17all still the allied the resistance
00:07:21allied for the benefits of Palestine against
00:07:25the abstin allies for the benefits
00:07:29of
00:07:29Israel.
00:07:48Hello everyone and welcome back to the news review section we we delf deeper
00:07:52into one the day's top stories so stay with
00:07:55us. Now the commander the Islamic Revolution
00:07:59Gaz Course Navy has warned all vessels transiting through the straight of
00:08:03Furmus not to shut down their navigation and automatic
00:08:06identification systems. Reiradmiral Ali asmai
00:08:10said in his message that all ships that turn off their
00:08:13navigation and identification systems in the straight of hormoz will
00:08:17be identified as hostile and will be dealt with
00:08:21severely and decisively. his warning came
00:08:25after the IRGC announced that violating oil super tanker has
00:08:29caught fire after striking naval mine in the straight of moves while
00:08:33trying to cross the straight through an unauthorized route. the
00:08:36IRGC navy said the violating vessels had turned off all
00:08:40identification and navigation. systems before attempting to pass
00:08:44through unauthorized waters, it added that this was the third
00:08:48violating tanker in two days to strike naval mines and catch
00:08:51fire while attempting illegal hurmus transit. the
00:08:55IRGC navy reiterated that any vessel trying to cross the strategic
00:08:59waterway after disabling is navigation systems will be considered
00:09:03hostile target and dealt with
00:09:05accordingly. now to get
00:09:09more insight we have our duel from London Miss Sakina
00:09:13Dato, journalist, author and producer, and also Mr. Said
00:09:16Morson Abbas, uh, political commentator, also from
00:09:20London. Uh, Mr. Abbas and Miss Datu, thank you for being with us once
00:09:24again, uh, Miss Datu, let's begin with you and the Islamic
00:09:28Revolution Gaz Core navy, warning all ships and vessels
00:09:32transiting through the straight of almos, not to shut down the
00:09:35navigation, shut down, their navigation and their
00:09:38identification system, full colo demand, many analysts are saying it is.
00:09:42because would the US allow the same thing to happen in their
00:09:46waters? first
00:09:49of all that the state of homos is fully in
00:09:53control of Iran. I mean, this just first of all
00:09:57tells us that when we hear constantly Trump saying that you know he
00:10:01has control the straight of hormos, then how come these oil tankers are
00:10:04getting hit, so this in itself is testament, and of course it
00:10:08is legitimate, Iran has every right to control. the
00:10:12waters around its own area and these are you know he they have
00:10:16control and they also have not completely stopped ships
00:10:20from passing
00:10:21you know there are conditions however because for far too long 'the
00:10:25state of hormos used to be open to everybody and it was a
00:10:29war on Iran that has brought this upon the world itself and
00:10:32upon the global economy because Iran was attacked and therefore
00:10:36you know closing state of hormos or managing it is
00:10:40in the interest is it's
00:10:43a vital security issue for Iran in this stage so
00:10:47absolutely who can blame Iran for wanting to make sure that
00:10:51they have the control over the straight and also these ships'.
00:10:55the very fact that they turn off all navigation is in itself
00:10:59indication that they are aware that they are doing something illegal, otherwise you know
00:11:03if they really had that kind of a courage to defy then why do they
00:11:07have to turn you know the navigations off and
00:11:11so i think you know the the reality is that things are getting very very
00:11:15tough for the US, we have seen them now coming to this
00:11:19deal with Russia to get some oil out you know from from
00:11:22Russia, all these signifies the fact... that they are desperate and
00:11:26that despite Trump constantly saying
00:11:28you know he had the control, he doesn't have the control the control, he doesn't
00:11:32have the control the straight of homos, there is no cont watching what
00:11:36the yemenis,
00:11:37what ansarulah is doing in Saudi Arabia,
00:11:40you know where that oil is not coming through, and it seems
00:11:44like also war is imminent because you can see that there are movements
00:11:48and you know there is a possible
00:11:51war on Iran again which makes it even more important
00:11:55for Iran to make sure that it's controlling
00:11:58the the straight of hormos, that's right, miss to say that
00:12:02boss, obviously your thoughts on the illegal route that the US has
00:12:06devised or trying to devise and trump forcing the ships to
00:12:09cross uh those waters knowing that it's not safe because Iran
00:12:13saying there are minds there and it's going to explode simple
00:12:17uh and he's just bullying everyone enemies or even
00:12:20their allies the first.
00:12:25crazy think that these are not military vessels and they're
00:12:29being encouraged and and provoked
00:12:33to take cargo through territory, area which
00:12:37belongs to the maritime
00:12:41waters of Iran and of course on, and
00:12:45time and time again has given fair
00:12:46warning
00:12:50areas of those which are not.
00:12:55nated safe and we
00:12:56are not responsible and already today, i think we've had report
00:13:00that ship actually hit a
00:13:04mind or those
00:13:07illegals
00:13:08and
00:13:19so this is very reckless in terms of
00:13:23those are trying to get
00:13:25his ship to come out and Iran continues to give those warnings, the
00:13:29daily commercial vessel trans, they have collapsed,
00:13:33mean
00:13:33today,
00:13:37that's because the surgeon inactual attacks which Iran has also
00:13:41had to uh do to basically enforce the rules. now the
00:13:45thing you
00:13:46want to understand is maritime law, first of all
00:13:49Iran is not to the the
00:13:53rules them.
00:13:55to of that they're being not actually party for any law that they would
00:13:58be raping, secondly, those territorial waters that they're very
00:14:02narrow is like 45 kilometers, now at
00:14:06that point as to whether
00:14:09they are omani waters
00:14:11or whether they're Iranian waters, so there is another
00:14:15huge iran can lay claim
00:14:18to all the their territory, so they within their rights,
00:14:22their legal rights, say what goes on here is something we need
00:14:26to do and the other factor which also negate any kind
00:14:29of uh moaning and growing by uh the
00:14:33the so-called angist imperialist
00:14:37powers is that uh you know it's a war who
00:14:41started the war again it's the anglo-zinist empire that started the
00:14:44war and in wartime these kind of maritime rules
00:14:48and regulations they don't operate I mean how is
00:14:52it on earth is it a reality that Iran has to abide by first of
00:14:56all maritime rules that it's never signed up to and then top of that it
00:15:00it has aggressive forces which are trying to use that oil a
00:15:04war against it, why why should why should they be obligated
00:15:07to allow any shipping to go through there? now the shipping that is
00:15:11going to of
00:15:12course,
00:15:22issues going on there, so the ships with... Iran is getting out, which the
00:15:26American Navy can't stop, uh, are definitely going
00:15:30to be shipping is going to
00:15:32the to to south Asia and perhaps Europe, but mainly it South Asia, and
00:15:36that that's a... something that iran in terms of it's trading
00:15:39oil will do and anybody else that wants to take oil out
00:15:43there or fertilizers they if they
00:15:47go through the procedures that Iran is set then they will be
00:15:50allowed
00:15:51to to take that's
00:15:54right sanction
00:15:58whatever you want to call
00:15:59it in terms
00:16:02of
00:16:04all the sanctions has placed placed up for. so
00:16:08another reason that Iran will be absolutely justified,
00:16:11well
00:16:15situation,
00:16:20that's right, that's right, Mr. Abbass, said some
00:16:24interesting points as well, but I want to ask Miss that too about the cost of all of this,
00:16:28would it have been cheaper just pay your a small fee for the
00:16:32insurance and for the security, and I'm forgetting that the world has lost millions
00:16:36of barrels already. which will not come back again,
00:16:40this isn't about the course really, it is about you know the his
00:16:43desire to not just control, but also to refuse
00:16:47that he has lost this war, mean if they were to agree to
00:16:51pay Iran, it's pretty obvious that they have lost the war, even though to be honest, I
00:16:55mean the whole world does realize that Trump has lost this war, but
00:16:59again this is very much in character of
00:17:03Trump, he's been asking the UK for example,
00:17:06that the straight
00:17:06of humans is... open go get your oil from there, he is
00:17:09forcing all these ships whose insurance cost of
00:17:13trying to you know when when they get blown up then the insurance goes very
00:17:17very high, but he is pushing them to keep on trying and this is
00:17:21just you know in his way of trying to ensure that
00:17:25he makes it look like he hasn't lost this war, there's midterm elections
00:17:29coming up of course and you know the all indications, all
00:17:32polls show that he is losing in those
00:17:35elections, so the... "this is this is something that you can
00:17:39expect from Trump, he is not ready under any circumstances to
00:17:43accept that they have lost, I mean if they had any sense at all and they
00:17:47understood the issues such as you know having to pay for
00:17:50safe passages then first of all they would not be killing people anymore,
00:17:54they would have abided by the mou which he himself has
00:17:58signed, I mean it is so it's actually beggers
00:18:02belief that a president of a belief that a president of a
00:18:05country like the US"
00:18:07to put his refuses today to honor any part of it, so none
00:18:11these would be happening, the state of chromos, forget about paying, it would
00:18:15just be open if there was a memorandum of understanding in place, the
00:18:19reality is that you know trump and the zionist entity,
00:18:23they are not interesting kind of coming to kind
00:18:26of coming to solution or anything, because they depend on
00:18:30wars for their own survival and also even though the world
00:18:34economy you know is in the doll trums. people are
00:18:38suffering everywhere, they themselves are enreaching themselves, so
00:18:41he and his cronies are actually there is lot of other analys
00:18:45who are also saying that this probably is something that they are doing
00:18:49purposely because they are benefiting from it purpose by
00:18:52themselves, so i think you know trump is narcissist
00:18:56and he only thinks about him and you know what
00:19:00benefits him, he doesn't really care about anyone's life or any
00:19:04economy going to
00:19:05you know bunkers, that's right? That's right, that's that's a lot of
00:19:09ego. Mr. Said Abbass, uh,
00:19:11one minute if you can, I want you
00:19:14to see get your opinion on this comment, uh,
00:19:18referring to Trump, you gambled, you lost, take it on the chin, why
00:19:22should the world pay for your foolish
00:19:23mistake?
00:19:27It's - more complicated than just I believe,
00:19:31simply case of Trump continuing to do what he's doing, it's almost as
00:19:35if he wants to collapse the global economy. because there's no
00:19:38sense anything that these forces are doing, there was no sense in
00:19:42Saudi Arabia risking its ships and it's oil
00:19:46coming out from the the last port that it had
00:19:49available, yet they did it, and of course whatever the Saudis do, the
00:19:53Americans know perfectly well what they're doing, they're right involved with all of
00:19:57that, and the same goes here in the hormes, everything that the US is doing is basically
00:20:01jeopadizing the global economy, it's also
00:20:04jeopadizing American um...
00:20:08domestic situation, his his elections are coming up, he's
00:20:12been begging, i think iran to give some kind of consession so
00:20:16that he can go back to these mid-terms and and claim some kind of victory, but
00:20:20Iran is very very hard for now, they said that the
00:20:23almost is a strategic red line, and broadening that range
00:20:27of targets in the gulf is actually what they intent
00:20:31on doing, and any tanker has violating the Iranian groups in the
00:20:35straight and home was will face.
00:20:50not just being the straight and almost, but now they're talking about the wider
00:20:54area i assume
00:20:54that means the Arabian se and further into the Indian
00:20:58Ocean. Who knows how far Iran is willing to say, actually
00:21:02any chicken attempts to try to get out or come in without our
00:21:06permission no matter how far it
00:21:07is is their game and of course not only that the uh
00:21:11US warships no matter how far they go, they're still within the
00:21:15range potentially of Iranian hypersonic missiles
00:21:19and other. specific
00:21:21missile
00:21:23uh that that can hit ships and although they withdrawn a
00:21:27thous kilometers or so, there's no guarantee that isn't
00:21:31able to leach them and they are obviously running scared if they were that
00:21:34dominantly
00:21:39then they would be there
00:21:43in the
00:21:43holes
00:21:48rather uh getting these vessels. to sneak through by
00:21:52turning off their radars and now is calling time on that thing,
00:21:55anybody does that doesn't matter civil vessel or this is the time
00:21:59of war, we're a state of war and we're absolutely entitled to
00:22:03stop our enemies getting supplies that they need in
00:22:07order to attack - that's right said that boss and how can you
00:22:10expect concessions when you threaten to erase an entire
00:22:14civilization uh a civilization 10 times older than yours
00:22:17so uh it's not logical uh Thank you, our dual from London, Miss
00:22:21Sakina Datu, as always, journalist, author and producer, and also miss,
00:22:25Mr. Sayad Morsan Abbas, political commentator, both them joining us
00:22:29from London, as always, thank you for your time, your knowledge and your
00:22:32assessment, we'll talk to you soon again, and also the viewers, stay with us, more
00:22:36headlines coming
00:22:37up.
00:23:19welcome back and you can see on the your screens a breaking news coming in that the
00:23:23king ghalid international airport is under attack again in the Saudi
00:23:27Capital Riyadh and as you can see one killed and 11 injured so

00:23:34we go along. Now US President Donald Trump says Ukraine and Russia have

00:23:57to it if his Russian counterpart did the same.
00:24:01Russian president Vladimir Putin has yet to make a comment. The deal
00:24:05comes a day after Trump said Moscow agreed to release
00:24:08300 thousand tons of diesel immediately to the American and
00:24:12global marketplace. However, analys say the latest
00:24:16estimates suggest the US could consume that amount of.
00:24:20diesel in less than 13 hours raising questions about whether the
00:24:24announcement is aimed more at influencing the upcoming mid-term
00:24:27elections than addressing the country's fuel
