00:03:01Hello everyone, you're watching Press TV live
00:03:03in a studios in Tehron. Thank you for joining
00:03:06us. Beginning with our top story an
00:03:09exclusive interview with Press TV. Ronstop security official
00:03:13says Washington's response to Tehron's seven conditions
00:03:16in a proposal to reopen the
00:03:19of strategic straight of Urmus is inadequate. Major General Mohsen
00:03:22Razali said the US must first clarify those issues that remain
00:03:26ambiguous for Iran. Let's take you listen.
00:03:32Over the past two months, the Americans made proposals to us through three
00:03:36channels: Pakistan, Qatar, and even
00:03:39of Iraq, and asked us to give them our own proposals. We announced seven conditions to the
00:03:43Americans, if you do not act on these conditions, neither will the straight
00:03:47of Hormus be opened to you, nor will there be any negotiations. The
00:03:51Americans have now given
00:03:52a response in their response. They have accepted some of our
00:03:56conditions, and there are some ambiguities.
00:03:59of Therefore, the American. have responded to us, we are not in the process of
00:04:02responding to the Americans, the Americans have responded to us and
00:04:06we consider their response
00:04:10of insuficient.
00:04:16remove those
00:04:17of parts that are considered ambiguous by
00:04:18of Iran, and Tehran is waiting to see whether they can remove those
00:04:22ambiguities before heading to the next stages, in
00:04:25his remarks or interview said the US has suffered
00:04:29of defeat. the defeat against Iran and that's why Washington has
00:04:33turned to economic war against the
00:04:35country.
00:04:39The enemy suffered major defeat in the 12-day war and then again in the
00:04:4340-day war. They resorted to naval blockade,
00:04:46but that led them nowhere. And recently, they launched
00:04:50economic
00:04:50isolation plan. They faced defeat in almost every single campaign they launched, but we
00:04:54stayed put pursuing our plans and neutralized all those campaigns
00:04:58with accurate planning and...
00:05:05of of
00:05:05The general said the US has failed even to end this war of aggression, he
00:05:09stress that the option to end the aggression is in the hands
00:05:11of of Iran and
00:05:12the Iranians will not stop their resistance until they get what is
00:05:16rightfully theirs. Razi added that the US is root
00:05:20cause the problem concerning the straight of Furmus. The general said
00:05:23Iran seeks management the straight to ensure regional security,
00:05:27especially in the Persian Gulf. He rejected Washington's
00:05:31claim that
00:05:32it is transporting major amounts of oil through the key waterway.
00:05:35Razi said the US is only using smugglers to transport
00:05:39negligible amounts of oil while the straight'. remains
00:05:43closed.
00:05:50Political commentatorsan Abbas says evon has every right to close
00:05:53a straight off for mouse in response to the Anglosanist war of
00:05:57aggression as international law does not operate in the same way
00:06:01during the
00:06:01wartime.
00:06:06It's a war. Who started the war? Again, it's the
00:06:09anglo-ziist empire that started the war and in. more
00:06:12time, these kind of maritime rules and regulations,
00:06:16they don't operate, I mean, how is it on earth is it a
00:06:20reality that Iran has to abide by first
00:06:23of all maritime rules that it's never signed up to, and then top of that it
00:06:27it has aggressive forces which are trying to use that oil a
00:06:31war against it, why why should why should they be obligated
00:06:34to allow any shipping to go through there, now the shipping that is
00:06:38going of course,
00:06:42I would have.
00:06:49issues on there, so the ships which Iran is getting out, which the
00:06:53American Navy can't stop, uh, are definitely going
00:06:56to be shipping is going to the to South Asia and perhaps
00:07:00Europe, but mainly it South Asia, and that that's something
00:07:04Iran in terms of its trading oil will do, and anybody else
00:07:08that wants to take oil out there - that weekend or LNG
00:07:12or fertilizers, they if they go through the procedures that Iran is said, then they will
00:07:16be allowed to to take
00:07:20that. The commander the Islamic
00:07:24Revolution, Gaz Cors Navy, has warned all vessels transiting through
00:07:27the straight of formus not to turn off their navigation and automatic
00:07:31identification systems. rear admiral Aliasmai said
00:07:35in his message that all ships that turn off their navigation and
00:07:39identification systems in the straight of Urmus will be identified. as
00:07:42hostile and we will dealt with severely and
00:07:45decisively, his warning came after the IRGC
00:07:49announced that violating oil super tanker has caught fire
00:07:52after striking naval mine in the straight of Urmus while trying to cross
00:07:56the straight through an anouthorized route. the IRGC
00:08:00navy said the violating identification and navigation system,
00:08:04identification and navigation system authorized waters. it
00:08:08had authorized waters. it added that this was the third
00:08:11violating. in two days to strike naval mines and catch
00:08:15fire while attempting illegal hurmos transit. the
00:08:19IRGC Navy reiterated that any vessel trying to cross a
00:08:22strategic waterway after disabling its navigation systems will
00:08:26be considered hostile target and dealt with
00:08:29accordingly.
00:08:34journalist, author and producer sakina datu joined us earlier, she said the
00:08:37international community must hold the US Israel aggression against Ivan
00:08:41responsible. rising fuel and energy prices, noting that the
00:08:45straight of formus was open before the
00:08:47aggression,
00:08:53Iran has voters around its own area, voters around its own
00:08:57area control and they also have not control and they also
00:09:01have not passing,
00:09:02you know they are conditions passing, they are conditions,
00:09:06however because for far too long the state of hormos used
00:09:09to be open to everybody and it was a... on Iran
00:09:13that has brought this upon the world itself and upon the global
00:09:17economy, because Iran was attacked and therefore
00:09:21you know closing state of hormos or managing it is in
00:09:24the interest is it's a vital security
00:09:28issue for Iran in this stage so absolutely who can blame
00:09:32Iran for wanting to make sure that they have the control over the
00:09:35street and also these ships you know the very fact that they turn
00:09:39off all navigation is in itself indication that they are
00:09:43aware that they are doing something illegal, otherwise
00:09:46you know if they really had that kind of a courage to defy then why do they have
00:09:50to turn you know the navigations off
00:09:54and so I think you know the the reality is that things are getting very
00:09:58very tough for the US, we have seen them now coming to
00:10:01this deal with Russia to get some oil out
00:10:05you know from from Russia, all these signifies the fact that they are
00:10:09desperate and that despite Trump constantly saying you know... He had
00:10:13the control, he doesn't have the control the straight of homose, there is no
00:10:17control on Babul Mandap, we've been watching what the Yeminies, what
00:10:20ansarulah is doing.
00:10:26Now the Iranian deputy foreign minister says Iran seeks constructive relations with
00:10:30its neighbors but considers the presence of American forces in the region
00:10:34a cause of insecurity. Speaking a press conference, Kazim
00:10:38Gharibabadi said security and stability the Persian Gulf
00:10:41region can only be established by the regional countries, not
00:10:45foreign forces. Ye added that the 40-day you showed that the
00:10:48presence of American for showed that the presence of American even for
00:10:52those countries that are even for those countries that are hosting
00:10:56American military bases. Kharibadi stressed that the security
00:11:00of Iran and regional countries are intertwined. He said Iran
00:11:04expects other countries not to provide their territory for aggression
00:11:08against this national security, otherwise Iran will take all
00:11:11necessary measures to defend itself.
00:11:15Gariba bodi express hope that neighboring countries would join hands to ensure
00:11:18peace and security in the region instead of relying on
00:11:22foreign powers.
00:11:28Now to talk more on this, we are joined by Mr. John Boznich,
00:11:32journalist, activist and political analyst joining us from Federicton, Canada,
00:11:35Mr. Boznic, good to see you again, Mr. Boznic, Iranian officials have
00:11:39many of times tried to for a constructive way to
00:11:43coexist with these regional countries, but yet we haven't seen any uh
00:11:47eagerness by these uh literal states, Saudi Arabian even
00:11:51started another front with Yemen, why is the...
00:11:55question, haven't they realized that the US just does, they realized that the
00:11:58US just does,
00:12:02well, the the fact the mat, the fact the matter here is that the United
00:12:06States is operating under orders from
00:12:09Israel, the Israel lobby in the United States controls
00:12:13Donald Trump and has pushed Donald Trump into a war that he
00:12:17was lied to about, they told him that he could
00:12:21win the war in two weeks and apparently he's
00:12:25declared victory several times and there is no victory in
00:12:28sight. um, the bigger issue at stake
00:12:32here is the decolonization the
00:12:36entire gulf region. many these
00:12:39states, especially Saudi Arabia, the Emirates and so
00:12:43on, are the leftovers, the holdovers the
00:12:46previous British empire and its control over the
00:12:50region. now that the British Empire has gone and the United
00:12:55States has tried to take over the British Empire, these fell into
00:12:59U.S. control. Now what we're seeing is the
00:13:02home-gown resistance the Iranian people to the
00:13:06foreign control the region, and if the Gulf
00:13:09states were willing to be independent, and if they
00:13:13were willing to operate as sovereign states, there could be some
00:13:17negotiations with them by Iran, but so long as they
00:13:21are dependencies of foreign superpower that answer.
00:13:25to a criminal bribery scheme called the
00:13:29Israeli lobby in America, there can't be any
00:13:33peace, and so Iran is actually fighting a war of
00:13:37liberation for its neighbors. you
00:13:41mentioned
00:13:41the British empire, do you think the British
00:13:45empire or the anglos are behind all of this pitting
00:13:48us against, I want to say southeast
00:13:52Asian countries, southwest, Iran
00:13:55to weaken those countries also uh
00:13:59for for the zinest regime and also the Ukraine and the Russia
00:14:03war, weaken Russia, weaken the Europe and then rise up
00:14:06again, in both
00:14:09cases, it's the Israel lobby which is
00:14:13enforcing positions that the US government is
00:14:16taking, the US government itself is a
00:14:20zionist organization controlled by the
00:14:23financers of the election campaigns, the election campaigns
00:14:27in the United States cost hundreds of millions of
00:14:30dollars, and in one case in particular,
00:14:34President Trump got a donation of
00:14:38$250 million dollars from a leading
00:14:42zionist operating out the casinos in Las Vegas,
00:14:46casinos in Las Vegas, so you've got a a
00:14:49world that is hanging because the
00:14:53bribery the... Israel lobby in the United States
00:14:57has pushed America into war, a war that nobody
00:15:00needed. Iran had not attacked anyone, and a war
00:15:04that Israel demanded, and that's where we stand today,
00:15:08with protesters in multiple countries pointing this out to their own
00:15:12governments and their own governments being
00:15:15beholden to the people who paid for their election
00:15:18campaigns. We've got a corrupt world, and the corrupt
00:15:22world is now focused on the straight of home. That's
00:15:26right, Mr. Boz. Mr. Bosich, what could we expect this time
00:15:29around, with the US military bases already in ruins,
00:15:33reports say that 70% have all already been decimated by Iran?
00:15:37"the US warships are hundreds of miles to formus or the persian gulf, the
00:15:41sea to formus or the persian gulf, the sea of vaman, they can't get close to
00:15:45Iran because Iran will retaliate, the multilayer defense wall
00:15:49has been shattered, you could say - all the way to
00:15:52Jordan, maybe this time Iran could target Israel
00:15:56directly, like Yemen showed with Saudi Arabia, one rocket, one
00:16:00missile straight to Riyadh, no uh defense by
00:16:04uh Saudi Arabia, are we going
00:16:06to see infrastructure for? infrastructure, what would that entail? so your
00:16:10opinion, Mr. Bosnic? well, my opinion is that
00:16:13the the world is about to face a true crisis,
00:16:17in which the colonial powers, which set up these
00:16:21regimes, with which Iran is now confronting,
00:16:24that the colonial powers are going to finally have to admit that the colonial
00:16:28era is over. Iran is merely defending
00:16:31itself, defending its own waters, defending its own
00:16:34territory, and there is a great deal of... sympathy for
00:16:38Iran, and there is a great deal of awakening taking
00:16:42place here in the west from many of us who were once
00:16:45strong zionists as I was, as most people in the
00:16:49western world were brought up to be, that Israel had to be
00:16:53protected because Israel believed in our way of life.
00:16:57What Israel has done in the Gaza genocide has
00:17:00proven once and for all that if that's the
00:17:04Israeli way of life, we cannot have. any part
00:17:08in it, the brazen massacre of
00:17:12hundreds of thousands of innocent civilians is a
00:17:16step too far and it can never be forgiven, and that's
00:17:20where Israel finds itself, and the only way they think they can get out of it
00:17:24is by destroying Iran and blaming
00:17:27everything on Iran. I don't think that will work, I think the Iranian
00:17:31people are strong, I believe that your army and that your
00:17:35people are united, and the impression that I get is that
00:17:38America and its masters in Israel have met their
00:17:42match. That's right, Mr. Boz, before we let you go, I have to ask you this
00:17:46question. Many believe another round is just around the corner, but the question is
00:17:50when. Uh, the reason I asked this is because Donald Trump says, nothing will
00:17:54happen till the midterms, but we're not talking about Donald Trump, some
00:17:57saying, I believe you also uh agree with this
00:18:01that Donald Trump doesn't make
00:18:03the decisions, it's Netanyahu and the Israeli regime, so it could be
00:18:07before. the elections in Israel?
00:18:10well, there could be an exchange of fire, there could be
00:18:14further violence. but I think that Donald Trump is
00:18:17looking very seriously at trying to win the mid-term elections, which are only
00:18:21weeks away, and therefore he will do everything he can
00:18:25to keep America out of any kind of conflagration at this
00:18:29time, that does not, however, any way
00:18:33restrict Israel, because Netanyahu appears to be going
00:18:37for. broke all guns ahead, we can only
00:18:40pray that God is watching and that he will
00:18:44stop this kind of insanity from destroying,
00:18:48perhaps the entire region, or if it exploded into a
00:18:52world war ii, the entire world. They
00:18:56have it, as you can see Mr. John, journalist, activist and political
00:19:00analyst from Federict in Canada, Mr. Bosan, she's always great to have you with us on
00:19:03Press TV, your knowledge, your assessment is always.
00:19:07just for us. Thank you, sir. Thank you. And now, the Palestinian Resistance
00:19:11movement, Hamas has strongly condemned the recent threats by Israeli minister of
00:19:15military affairs to assassinate the head the movement's political bureau,
00:19:18Khalil Alhya. In an official statement, Hamas said
00:19:22Israel, Israel cuts threat amounts to organized state
00:19:26terrorism and reflects the rogue regime's lack of respect for
00:19:30international law. The movement added that Israel's threat to kill Hamas
00:19:33chief also reveals the political bankrupcy the occupied.
00:19:37regime and his fascist members. Hamas rest that such
00:19:41threats will not alter the movement's firm position or its
00:19:44approach to struggle and resistance until all the rights the
00:19:48Palestinian people are restored. Hamas emphasized that
00:19:52Israel's threats will only strengthen the resolve the movement and its
00:19:55leaders. It called on the Gaza seesfire
00:19:58mediators to take a decisive stance against Israel's reckless threats
00:20:02and force the regime to fulfill his obligations including stopping
00:20:06the aggression. and lifting the blockade on
00:20:09Gaza. The Yemani
00:20:13arm forces spokesman says a major wave of long-range
00:20:17missile and drone strikes has targeted key airports and energy
00:20:21infrastructure across Saudi Arabia. Let
00:20:23see listen. The armed
00:20:27forces carried out for qualitative operational listic and cruise missiles and
00:20:31drones, listic and cruise missiles and drones. The first
00:20:35operation targeted in three phases king. colored international airport in
00:20:39Riyad, resulting in the disruption of air traffic and the complete closure the
00:20:42airport. The second operation targeted the sugar dam gas
00:20:46facility belonging to Arenko in the eastern province and resulted in
00:20:50large fires breaking out at the targeted site. The
00:20:54third operation targeted the Arenko tanajib oil refinery in the eastern
00:20:58province and resulted in ignition in it. The fourth
00:21:01operation targeted King Ford International Airport in
00:21:04Damma. Brigadier general
00:21:08Yahya Sari added that Yemani forces deployed six ballistic
00:21:12missiles and two drones against Saudi back troops in Bable Mandeb
00:21:15region. He said the attacks are in response to over
00:21:18124. to over 124
00:21:22saudi-backed air strikes across Yemen in just 24
00:21:25hours, Yahya Sari reiterated airports except
00:21:29those in Mecca and Medina declaring them potential
00:21:32targets. He said operations would continue to escalate under the
00:21:36principle of escalation for escalation and blockade for
00:21:40blockade until the Saudi military aggression and the siege are
00:21:43brought to an
00:21:44end.
00:21:50Military and strategic analyst Ali ham believes Saudi Arabia is
00:21:54losing the war in Yemen and is now begging other countries for help. Let's take a
00:21:57listen,
00:22:04the Saudis are losing, the Saudis are losing
00:22:08the strategic war, why? because for water passes or to
00:22:11pass for water passes or to pass through
00:22:15Belmand or somewhere else,
00:22:19they are - they they are very close to the edge
00:22:22of oman sea, at the shore of oman sea, red
00:22:26sea, and they are very close to oman sea, also the Arabian
00:22:30sea, Saudi Arabia is in
00:22:34short strategy, lock of strategy to
00:22:38go into war against yemen for
00:22:41exp, you know they experienced such war for eight years
00:22:45with huge allies and more
00:22:49more uh effective and strongest allies
00:22:52ever for eight years before and they did not
00:22:56succeed, now they are trying with some mercenaries, they are trying
00:23:00to help for the triple agreements in Mecca from
00:23:04Turkey and Pakistan, they you know it
00:23:08gets to Muhammad bin Salman to ask the support of
00:23:12al-Julai to send some mercenaries to al yeman to
00:23:15fight on behalf of Saudi Arabia, so we
00:23:19see... that Saudi Arabia for such
00:23:22escalation, it's exactly remind us
00:23:26of what happened during Yemen
00:23:29supporting Gaza, saying
00:23:31escalation against escalation,
00:23:35airport against airport, and this is exactly what
00:23:39happened, and it's all still the
00:23:42allie, the resistance allied for the benefits of
00:23:46Palestine against the abstin.
00:23:50lies for the benefits of
00:23:52Israel,
00:23:56and with that we come to the end of this spot. Thank you for being with us, take care and
00:23:59stay
00:24:00safe.
00:24:21When you are born on Iranian soil, something is born with you,
00:24:25the belief that a homeland is not merely a place to live, but
00:24:28sometimes a place you must be willing to die for. The roots of this
00:24:32belief can be found even in the legends of Iran, and perhaps no
00:24:36legend expresses it more powerfully than the story of Arash.
00:24:40After the war between Iran and Turan, it is decided that
00:24:43Iran's new frontier will be determined by the flight of a single
00:24:47arrow. Arash stands a top mount damand, he puts
00:24:51all his strength, all his life into the arrow and releases
00:24:54it. Arash dies, but the arrow flies on. Where did it
00:24:58land? To find the answer, we must leave legend behind and
00:25:02enter history. 330 BC, Alexander had crushed
00:25:06nearly every major power in his path and was advancing toward
00:25:10Presepolis. At the Persian gate, Ario Barzanis stood
00:25:14with around 700 warriors against an army of more than
00:25:1710,000. They knew that if they resist... they would die, but
00:25:21they chose an honorable death over life under domination.
00:25:25They stopped Alexander's first assault and forced him to retreat,
00:25:29and for the generations that followed, they left behind a legacy.
00:25:33Resistance means knowing that you may lose your life, yet refusing to
00:25:36let an enemy cross your land without paying a price. Two
00:25:40centuries later, this time Rome came from the west. In
00:25:4453 BC, Crasus invaded Parthian territory with
00:25:47vast army, facing him. but young commander,
00:25:51Sirena, with his mounted archers and a thousand camels carrying an
00:25:55endless supply of arrows, Sirena filled the skies with a storm
00:25:59of arrows. The Roman army suffered one the most. devastating
00:26:02defeats in its history, but for Iranians, land is not the
00:26:06only frontier, the sea is a frontier too. At the beginning
00:26:10the 16th century, the Portuguese seized Hormus, a
00:26:14small island at the entrance to the Persian Gulf, whose control meant
00:26:18command over one the most important trade roots between east and
00:26:22west. They built fortresses, they brought cannons, and they
00:26:25remained for more than a century. In 1622,
00:26:29Iranian forces under the command of Imam Koli Khan, reached
00:26:33Hormus. After a hard-fought siege, Portuguese power in
00:26:36Hormus was broken and the island was
00:26:39retaken. But the Persian Gulf never
00:26:42disappeared from the ambitions of colonial powers. In
00:26:461915, British forces occupied Bucher.
00:26:49Against an army backed by warships, artillery, and the power of
00:26:53one the world's greatest empires, the people of southern Iran stood
00:26:57with simple rifles. Their resistance was led by a man named
00:27:01Rais Ali.
00:27:03del vari during the months of occupation he organized the resistance the people of
00:27:07Tangistan. For Rais Ali, the question was never how
00:27:11many soldiers stood on either side. The principle was simple:
00:27:15Iranian soil is not negotiable, even if defending it
00:27:18costs your life. Rais Ali was eventually martered in that
00:27:22struggle. September 3rd, the anniversary of his murderdom is
00:27:26commemorated in Iran as the national day of struggle against
00:27:30British colonialism, but the resistance to not end with his
00:27:33death, years later British forces finally left
00:27:36Bucher, yet the ambitions of foreign powers toward Iran
00:27:40did not end there, because
00:27:43Iran also had oil. For decades, much of Iran's oil
00:27:47industry remained under the influence of a British company, until
00:27:511951, Mohammed Mosadeg stood against threats,
00:27:55political pressure and economic pressure and declared, Iran's
00:27:59oil must belong to Iran. The oil industry. was
00:28:02nationalized. two years later, a coup backed directly by the
00:28:06United States and Britain overthrough his government. Mosadeg was
00:28:10removed from power and spent the remaining years of his life in
00:28:13imprisonment and house arrest, but one demand could no longer be
00:28:17erased. Iran's wealth must remain in Iranian
00:28:21hands, land, water,
00:28:24oil. But now, the issue is no longer only land,
00:28:28water, or oil. It is something greater than all them,
00:28:31independent. The question of who has the right to decide Iran's
00:28:35future. In June, 2025, the United States
00:28:39directly attacked Iran's nuclear facilities, and since
00:28:42February 2026, Iran has been engaged in direct
00:28:46military confrontation with the United States and Israel. For
00:28:50months, military and economic pressure has continued, but
00:28:53Iran has never been willing to trade its independence for temporary
00:28:57peace, independence for temporary peace, bows, arrows and
00:29:01horsizzles. tanks, drones
00:29:05and fighter jets, but the
00:29:09blood of arash still runs through Iranian veins. And
00:29:13now, let us return to the same question. Where did Arasha's arrow
00:29:16land? The arrow flew more than a thousand kilometers all the way
00:29:20to the banks the Axis river. Arash lost his
00:29:24life, but he did not allow the enemy to decide
00:29:28Iran's fate, and that legacy passed
00:29:32from one generation to the next. An Iranian may
00:29:35give his life for his homeland and independence, but he will never
00:29:39surrender their fate to foreign
00:29:41power.
