00:02:14of three years after Alxa flood operation on October
00:02:187, 2023, the question is no
00:02:20of longer simply what happened that morning.
00:02:22of The harder
00:02:22of question is why it happened, and whether the Palestinian resistance had reached
00:02:26a point where doing nothing had become the greater gamble. For
00:02:30decades, Gaza lived under blockade. The West Bank
00:02:33of watched
00:02:33of its land disappear beneath expanding settlements. Al-Quds
00:02:37and Al-Aqsa remained at the center
00:02:40of of
00:02:40of recurring
00:02:41of confrontation. Palestinian prisoners filled Israeli entity
00:02:45jails while successive rounds of
00:02:47of war produced devastation without resolving the underlying
00:02:50conflict.
00:02:51of Then came October 7. To both its supporters and critiques,
00:02:55it
00:02:55of was of a
00:02:56of
00:02:56of calculated strategic shock, moment in which the Palestinian resistance.
00:03:00shattered the image of an Israeli entity protected by walls,
00:03:03surveillance, technology
00:03:05of and military superiority, and there is where the real argument
00:03:09begins: was al-aqsa flood an initiative or a
00:03:12gamble? an initiative is actually build on
00:03:15calculations, the capabilities
00:03:16of the enemy, the possible responses, the risks and the
00:03:20objectives.
00:03:21of a gamble by contrast enters the unknown, accepting consequences that
00:03:25may become impossible to control. three years
00:03:28of after october
00:03:29of 7. has paid an unimaginable price, a
00:03:33full on unimaginable price, a full on genocide by zinus
00:03:37Israel, its cities have
00:03:38of been thousands of Palestinians have been displaced,
00:03:42of the West Bank has faced intensified settlement expansion and military
00:03:46pressure, while Lebanon, Syria, Iran, Yemen, and other
00:03:49regional actors have all
00:03:52of experienced consequences connected directly or indirectly to
00:03:55the windening confrontation with Zinus
00:03:57a Israel and its patron, the United States. of America.
00:04:01However, there is another side to the
00:04:04letter. Alexaflood operation also exposed vulnerabilities that
00:04:08Zinus Israel had spent decades presenting as impossible to
00:04:12penetrate. It shattered the
00:04:14of mythology of absolute security and demonstrated that overwhelming military
00:04:17power does not necessarily eliminate the possibility of
00:04:21strategic surprise. You see, it completely
00:04:24exposed the hypocrisy
00:04:26of the so-called most moral army in the world. Designed.
00:04:30army that is
00:04:31of still committing genocide in Gaza and ethnic cleansing in Lebanon,
00:04:34which gets us back to square one as
00:04:36to why the alaxa flood operation was actually
00:04:39of necessity of rather of than an adventure. So to those who st
00:04:43question, it's
00:04:44of asking and telling us that the Palestinian resistance open any
00:04:47in chapter in the struggle or unleash forces
00:04:49of those consequences exceeded even its own
00:04:51calculations. Well, three years
00:04:55on, history has not finished writing the
00:04:58of answer, but it has exposed. the genocidal nature of zionist
00:05:01Israel to the entire
00:05:04of world. welcome to the med
00:05:05stream,
00:05:11the years. After the alaxa flood, we look back a period that
00:05:15transformed Gaza, Palestine and the wider region from the
00:05:19shock of October 7 and Zinus Israel genocidal war on
00:05:22Gaza, to the ethnic cleansing in Lebanon and escalation in
00:05:26Syria, Iran and Yemen. Joining us from Beirot is Mr.
00:05:29Hasan Ataya, representative the Palestinian Islamic jihad in
00:05:33Lebanon for conversation about the decisions, the
00:05:36sacrifices, the losses and strategic consequences
00:05:40these three extraordinary. years, thank you very much for being with
00:05:44us, Mr. Assan on this day, as you know, three years ago the
00:05:47Palestinian resistance launched an operation that shattered really
00:05:51Zionist Israel's illusion of security and
00:05:54invincibility, and but it triggered with it a
00:05:58genocidal war against our brothers and sisters in Gaza and
00:06:02destruction the West Bank and elsewhere. Now
00:06:05consequences have uh been going all
00:06:09throughout the region, not only just uh...
00:06:12inside of Gaza, looking back today, how do you
00:06:16assess the operation of flood and what did the
00:06:20resistance believe it could actually achieve
00:06:23by
00:06:24it?
00:06:28first,
00:06:29it is important emphasize that operational flood was not something that emerged
00:06:33a vacuum or happened overnight, it was not simply the result of an isolated
00:06:37decision by the resistance to take action beyond what might be considered
00:06:40reasonable, rather it was culmination of years of continuous
00:06:44Israeli entity aggression, the siege imposed on Gaza, the killing and
00:06:48destruction, the targeting and demolition of residential buildings and the
00:06:52repeated wars waged against Gaza. It was also the result of ongoing
00:06:56attacks by Israeli entity settlers in the west bank, the constant
00:06:59incursions into al-Aqsa Mosk, attacks on Palestinian neighborhoods
00:07:03and continued attempts to judaize al-Quds, al-Aqsa Mosque and what
00:07:07remains of occupied Palestine. All these developments ultimately led
00:07:11to powerful response. by the Palestinian resistance, carried out by
00:07:14several resistance factions under the leadership the Al-Qassam brigades.
00:07:18When the operation was launched, it was embraced by all Palestinian
00:07:22factions, and the Palestinian people in Gaza joined and participated in
00:07:25confronting the Israeli enemy, which had persisted in its killing and destruction in
00:07:29Gaza. As for evaluating the operation itself, I believe any final
00:07:33assessment can only be made after the battle and the war have ended, the battle
00:07:37is still ongoing and we cannot yet produce definitive public assessments or
00:07:41conduct a comprehensive. accurate evaluation of what has taken place.
00:07:45We are still at the heart the battle, the killing continues, the genocidal war
00:07:49continues, and the attacks across the region are still ongoing.
00:07:52Therefore, we must maintain a high level of awareness and recognize that
00:07:56any interim assessment of what has happened is the responsibility the resistance
00:08:00leadership. It is up to them to study
00:08:02the developments, draw lessons from what occurred, and take the appropriate measures and
00:08:06steps needed to continue confronting and resisting the enemy. As for the final
00:08:10assessment, that will come only. after this battle has ended, god
00:08:14willing, and we believe that despite the difficult circumstances
00:08:17ahead, the signs of victory are becoming increasingly
00:08:20clear, well,
00:08:24mr. gaza has indeed endured discussion, destruction
00:08:27and anniholation, if I will, a scale
00:08:31that the world has been shocked by, we have
00:08:34international bodies, international legal institution, humanitarian institutions,
00:08:38going as far as calling it officially a genocide, what's going on?
00:08:42in Gaza because of what Zinos Israel conducted against the
00:08:46civilians and the civilian infrastructure in the strip, what do you
00:08:50believe zionist Israel wanted by destroying Gaza in
00:08:54specific, and why has it failed to end the Palestinian
00:08:57resistance despite the vast amount of
00:09:01destruction that it implemented against the Gaza
00:09:05strip?
00:09:11the Israely entity made it clear. through its response to the operation that it was carrying out a large-scale
00:09:15criminal campaign, systematically targeting civilians and civilian
00:09:19institutions, including educational and religious institutions in Gaza.
00:09:23It committed horrific massacres, brutal massacers in every sense the
00:09:26word. Perhaps the Israeli entity wanted to break the Arab and Islamic consciousness
00:09:30across the region as well as the Palestinian consciousness, sending the message
00:09:34that anyone who dares to confront this enemy will face the same fate,
00:09:38destruction and anniholation, without anyone in the world being able to save
00:09:42them. or stop the devastation. The second part of this strategy
00:09:46also became evident. The world largely watched what was happening, although
00:09:50some countries and people around the world rejected the genocide, and although many
00:09:53express sympathy with the Palestinian people being killed before the eyes the world, they
00:09:57were unable to stop this genocidal war any meaningful way. Even
00:10:01now, despite the seasfire agreement and the understandings that were reached, the
00:10:05Israeli entity continues to carry out assassinations, killings and
00:10:08attacks. From the very beginning the aggression, the Israeli entity open.
00:10:12declared that it wanted to eliminate the resistance, reoccupy Gaza
00:10:16militarily and displace the Palestinian people from their land. The
00:10:19United States openly stated its behalf that it wanted to displace Palestinians from
00:10:23the west bank into Jordan.
00:10:25and from Gaza into Egypt. This was met with extremely negative reactions
00:10:29around the world, particularly from the two countries targeted by these displacement
00:10:33plans. The Palestinian people, through the steadfastness their sons
00:10:37and daughters and their determination to remain on their land, also thwarted these
00:10:41plans. Despite the siege, starvation, the war aimed at breaking
00:10:44their will, and the ongoing aggression and attacks, the Palestinian people in
00:10:48Gaza remain steadfast. They continue to make sacrifices and
00:10:52endure these conditions. The resistance of this people comes from within the
00:10:56people themselves, their own sons are the ones fighting, their own sons are the
00:11:00ones standing against the enemy. therefore, perhaps the
00:11:03Israeli entity succeeded in militarily occupying a large part of
00:11:07Gaza, but it failed to achieve its objective of eliminating the
00:11:10resistance. the resistance remains present, remains active, and
00:11:14remains beyond the ability of this occupation to defeat. if the Israeli
00:11:18entity had truly succeeded in eliminating the resistance, it would not have
00:11:22negotiated with its leadership to recover its prisoners. and reach an agreement for
00:11:26seisfire that it could then use to its advantage. As everyone
00:11:29knows, this enemy has record of withdrawing from agreements and breaking its
00:11:33commitments and treaties. We are therefore now facing an ongoing aggression
00:11:37whose objective is to displace the remaining Palestinian population through pressure and
00:11:41siege, an attempt to force them into displacement, after the Israeli
00:11:45entity failed to carry out a mass displacement the population. And there are
00:11:48clearly future projects and plans involving Trump and Netanyahu who
00:11:52have ambitions for Gaza.
00:12:02we have to be a bit realistic here, because the past three years have been
00:12:06extraordinary pricey on the wider resistance
00:12:10axes in the region, we have seen the assassinations and killings of
00:12:14military leaders and political leaders all across both the palestinian,
00:12:17lebanese and other Iranian as well and
00:12:21other access of resistance leaders in the region.
00:12:25in Iraq for example as well, how has the loss these figures
00:12:29really affected the strategic thinking the
00:12:32resistance and were they able to rise above what
00:12:36happened? براي
00:12:37الاستهداف المتعدd in my
00:12:41view, the multiple targeting operations, particularly the targeting of
00:12:45prominent resistance leaders at the very top the leadership the resistance factions
00:12:48across the region must be understood in the broader context of this
00:12:52war. we know that the Islamic resistance in Lebanon... immediately took the
00:12:55initiative, beginning on the second day to support Gaza in the face of this
00:12:59aggression and the battle of alaksa flood. this aggression against Gaza and the battle of
00:13:03al-Aqsa flood helped bring the concept the unity the fronts into
00:13:07practice, a principle that the resistance access as a whole had been
00:13:10advocating. this was manifested across several areas, including
00:13:14Yemen, Iraq, Iran, Lebanon, and Syria. What
00:13:17happened, even though it took a different form in Syria, including the targeting
00:13:21the resistance and the losses it suffered, must be understood within the context. of a
00:13:25comprehensive war, a war of aggression and an existential war being waged
00:13:29by the occupying entity and its supporters across the region. In my view,
00:13:33despite the enormous and heavy price paid, it did not break the
00:13:36resistance. Yes, there were significant losses. We deeply morn
00:13:40these great and important leaders, as well as the resistance fighters who were
00:13:43murdered and who stood at the forefront the resistance on the various
00:13:47fronts and in the most advanced positions. The targeting and martterdom of
00:13:51civilians, including children and women, is also a profound source of pain.
00:13:55yet, at the same time, we believe that those who are targeted and martered received
00:13:59the highest honor they could have wished for, the honor of marterdom. The marterium
00:14:03these leaders also strengthens the determination of those who remain in the
00:14:07resistance to move forward, develop their capabilities, and continue this
00:14:10path. It also allows the resistance to assess the initial outcomes of a
00:14:14battle that is still ongoing and to take advantage the opportunities created by
00:14:18these attacks, turning the targeting itself into opportunities. The
00:14:22resistance has demonstrated remarkable ability in confronting. the enemy,
00:14:25particularly on the battlefield, but also in the political and media
00:14:29arenas. if we compare where Hazbullah stood when said Abbaswi
00:14:33was murdered, with where it stood after Sayid
00:14:36Hasan Nasaralah was murdered, the difference is striking. when Sayid Abbaswi was
00:14:39murdered, was a very different stage in terms of its ability to confront
00:14:43the occupation and its own internal capabilities, but when Sayid
00:14:47Hasan Nasaralah was murdered, look at how far the resistance had advanced.
00:14:51There is an important statement that Sayid Hasan Nasar Allah himself recalled during the
00:14:55commemoration the murderdom of Dr. Fatih he quoted the
00:14:59principle that movement to secretary general is martered can never be
00:15:02broken. Therefore, the marturdom of Sayid Hasan Nasaralah
00:15:05today may also herald a qualitative development within
00:15:08Hazbullah that will surprise the enemy in the future. When Sayid
00:15:12Hasan Nasar Allah attended the funeral the murder Dr. Fatih in
00:15:16Damascus, he recalled the words attributed to Dr. Shiqaqi
00:15:20following the murderdom of Sayid Abbaswi, movement whose secretary general
00:15:24is murdered can never. be broken, we can see this through historical
00:15:28Dr. was examples: targeted
00:15:29when
00:15:31and assassinated, where
00:15:32were the military
00:15:33capabilities of Islamic jihad at the time, and where did they eventually reach after all these
00:15:37years? how many wars did they fight, sometimes independently and more
00:15:41than once against the occupation? where do they stand today? and look at
00:15:45Iran, when the leader, marter Sayid Ali Khamenei was
00:15:48targeted, where was Iran then, and where is it today? The
00:15:52war is still ongoing, yet Iran has emerged as major power confronting the
00:15:56greatest military power in the world, the United States. Before this
00:16:00war, the United States had enjoyed unrivaled dominance and was widely
00:16:03regarded as the world's soul superpower. It also confronted the greatest.
00:16:07military power in the region, the Israeli entity. The United States and
00:16:11the Israeli entity attacked the Islamic Republic of Iran, but they failed to break
00:16:15the will the Iranian people or bring down the Islamic Republic.
00:16:19Iran today is therefore a major power confronting the greatest military power in the
00:16:23world. The outcome of this war will change the global balance, and that
00:16:27is precisely what frightens both the United States and the Israeli entity.
00:16:31If we look at the same pattern, we can consider our brothers in
00:16:34Hamas. was Hamas
00:16:38then
00:16:39and where did it reach after the martidom of its political bureau chief, the great leader
00:16:42Ismail Hanni? Where will Hamas be in the future? All these
00:16:46historical precedents suggest that the future the resistance factions and the future
00:16:50of this resistance alliance will undoubtedly be different from
00:16:53what it is today. The Resistance and its leadership draw lessons from their
00:16:57experiences, assess the outcomes of battles and developments on the
00:17:00ground, and continually take the appropriate measures. They also
00:17:04make use their capabilities while closely studying the capabilities the...
00:17:08israeli entity,
00:17:09the United States and the intelligence services around the world that serve them. Perhaps they
00:17:13have succeeded in carrying out a strike here or there, or achieving a particular
00:17:16objective at one point or another, but
00:17:18the strategic objective remains far from being achieved. They have not been able to
00:17:22break the resistance or eliminated. That remains nothing more than a dream the
00:17:26aging Israeli entity and its
00:17:28administration.
00:17:33Well, you mentioned something very important.
00:17:37eventually attacked by the United States of America and designist
00:17:41enemy as well, while Yemen also became another major battle
00:17:45front in this war and west Asia through the
00:17:49attacks and the pressure, the attacks on Yemen and the
00:17:53counterattacks by Yemen on Saudi Arabia and
00:17:55the bottleeneck the choke point of Babel Mandab
00:17:59as well. Can you explain to our viewer, especially those in
00:18:03in the west who really don't understand how things are going at the...
00:18:07moment, how this war demonstrates the existence
00:18:11of genuinely interconnected regional
00:18:15resistance front, or does it rather expose the limits
00:18:19of that concept of a united fronts of
00:18:22resistance?
00:18:26as i mentioned, the battle of flood embodied the unity the fronts or
00:18:30known arenas. what is as the unity the the concept the unity the
00:18:33arenas was originally introduced by the Islamic shihad movement and
00:18:37also used as the name of one of its battles against the Israeli entity. the idea
00:18:41was to establish the unity the palestinian arenas of confrontation. any
00:18:45attack on the west bank is considered attack on the entire Palestinian
00:18:49people. likewise, any attack on Gaza or on Palestinians anywhere they
00:18:53are located, is considered attack on the Palestinian people and the
00:18:56Palestinian resistance. accordingly, the Palestinian resistance forces
00:19:00should come together and confront such aggression collectively. this
00:19:04approach then developed further into the concept the unity the front. within the
00:19:08resistance and across the broader resistance alliance. As I mentioned, the
00:19:11Islamic Resistance in Lebanon took the initiative immediately and made significant
00:19:15sacrifices in the context of this battle to support Gaza. Yemen
00:19:19provided innovative model of support and confrontation. It employed a weapon
00:19:23that it had not previously used in the war waged against it, the maritime front in the
00:19:27Red Sea. It prevented ships belonging to the Israeli entity, or ships
00:19:31heading toward ports and occupied Palestine from passing through the Red Sea.
00:19:35As result, Yemen was able to exert significant economic pressure and
00:19:39obstruct the Israeli entities maritime access. It even went further when it
00:19:42declared that as long as Gaza was being prevented from receiving aid, Yemen would
00:19:46prevent goods from reaching the Israeli entity. Yemen therefore also played in as
00:19:50did the other resistance factions. Iran, as did the other resistance
00:19:54factions. Iran was consistently present as well. It provided extensive
00:19:58support on the military, political, media and logistical levels, as well as
00:20:02in terms of expertise and capabilities. More than one joint
00:20:05operations room was established at the beginning. the battle of alexa flood,
00:20:09military coordination mechanisms were established along with security,
00:20:12political and media coordination rooms. At the beginning the battle, the performance
00:20:16the resistance axis and this broader resistance alliance evolved
00:20:19significantly. Its major leadership figures had been meeting from time to
00:20:23time, but before a flood, they had not yet reached the point of
00:20:27developing a comprehensive, unified plan for major
00:20:30confrontation. The concept of this access and this resistance front
00:20:34was still taking shape. Then al-aqsa flood came and moved all into
00:20:38an operational phase. There were now practical meetings between the leaderships the
00:20:41Resistance Axis, with extensive coordination at every level. This
00:20:45coordination allowed the Palestinian resistance to lead the battle inside Palestine through a
00:20:49unified. military effort on the ground. Other resistance factions also
00:20:53participated. More than 80 fighters from the Islamic Shihad Movement's Quds brigades were
00:20:57murdered on the Lebanese Front alongside our brothers in Hazbullah,
00:21:00confronting the ongoing aggression by the Israeli entity. There were also murders from
00:21:04Yemen, Iraq and Iran. The Israeli entity went even further and
00:21:08launched an aggressive war against Iran, seeking to eliminate its presence because
00:21:12Iran is regarded as the central backbone of this resistance axis. In this
00:21:16context, the United States also played a major role in removing.
00:21:20geographically from the resistance axis and allowing the Israeli entity to advance
00:21:24further with its occupations and to destroy Syria's scientific and military
00:21:27capabilities. This was part of attempt to fragment and divide the
00:21:31strategically important geography in the confrontation with the occupation,
00:21:34particularly because Syria is one the states on the frontline surrounding occupied
00:21:38Palestine that has not signed an agreement with the Israeli
00:21:41entity.
00:21:45So far, seems things are changing at the moment, but there's
00:21:49a... time to discuss that, but I want to discuss with you one
00:21:52final thought about the board of peace that we said we were going to touch upon, because
00:21:56Donald Trump proposed the board of peace, but it seems like it's a border plan for
00:22:00Gaza to become a real estate for Donald Trump and his family and possibly
00:22:04Netanyahu and his family, which has raised really questions about the
00:22:07determination of what happens to the self determination the people and the territory
00:22:11of Gaza, does the resistance see the proposals as a genuine attempt to
00:22:15end the war on Gaza, and if
00:22:18not what is
00:22:50wants to completely eliminate the resistance, while the United States and Trump in
00:22:54particular, wants to turn Gaza into economic project from which he can
00:22:57personally benefit. Trump secured a UN decision allowing him to become the
00:23:01head and supervisor of this body, making him the chairman the board of
00:23:04peace. Through this he wants to control the funds that will come into Gaza
00:23:08as aid and use them to advance his own projects. He wants to transform
00:23:12Gaza into economic project that he can personally profit from. That is why
00:23:16even after his second presidential term and after he leaves the president the
00:23:20United States, he would remain the head of this board by virtue the UN decision
00:23:24he secured. Therefore, the future of this committee is not in Gaza's
00:23:28interest. This board serves the interests the United States and the Israeli
00:23:31entity. It will therefore not be able to save Gaza in the way the people of
00:23:35Gaza hope. We want the Palestinian people in Gaza themselves to
00:23:39be the ones making
00:23:40the decisions, not outside powers coming in as guardians to administer
00:23:44Gaza from outside Gaza. For this reason, we do not see any real
00:23:47prospect for this board to succeed or to... use a future that serves the Palestinian
00:23:51cause and the people of Gaza. The board of peace is managed and overseen
00:23:55by the United States under Trump's leadership, while Netanyahu seeks to use it
00:23:59to serve his own interests and does not honor or implement the agreements associated
00:24:03with the board of peace.
00:24:06نتنياهو يستخدمها لمصلحته ولم
00:24:10ينفذ اي اتفاق متعلق بلجنه
00:24:12السلام. the upcoming
00:24:15possibly months will show whether this board of peace is actually serious one or
00:24:19not. already know it's not, but the international
00:24:23world or the international community needs to understand that this will not work as long
00:24:27as the palestinian people do not have self-determination. i want thank you very much mr

00:25:24At the cradle of western civilization, us secretary of state
00:25:28Marco Rubio tells a familiar story: Persians as
00:25:32villains, Athenians as heroes, but is that
00:25:36history or just Washington's preferred
00:25:38vision? Persians plundered the temples,
00:25:42they burned the shrines, they raised the acropolis to the ground. Case
00:25:46closed, not so fast, history has habit of talk.
00:25:52back, Alexander, he had great respect for the Persian culture, a
00:25:56little inconvenient for narrative that reduces Persia to an army
00:26:00of Barbarians and all sc winning filmmaker Oliver Stone
00:26:04has message for those lecturing the world its past. I think
00:26:08westerners don't understand completely the history of Iran
00:26:11and Persia. I would suggest this book
00:26:14is is a great place to
00:26:15start.
00:26:21Washington may think it can dictate the narrative, but history has
00:26:24outlasted empires before, and it has a warning for those who think
00:26:28they can rewrite it. You cannot change history, you'll be defeated.
00:26:32by the forces of history, which are inevitable, and Americans seem to
00:26:36believe that they can change that. this is insanity, this is the
