00:01:13going to talk about a place that before last week most Americans had never even
00:01:16heard of, a small Spanish
00:01:19of territory on the coast of North Africa called Seuda. Now,
00:01:22because what happened there last week may have more to
00:01:25of do with Washington than most people realize. See last week Seyuda was
00:01:29overrun but... 50 and 60,000 migrants surged towards
00:01:33that border
00:01:34in a single weekend, we showed you video of that resulting chaos,
00:01:38more than 80 people died, some drowned, others were crushed during the
00:01:41stampede, and just like that you had
00:01:44of a crisis Sydney Shockwaves, not just across Europe,
00:01:47of but also here in the United States. You saw
00:01:51Spain uh yesterday, and I watched the
00:01:55catastrophe that took place, it was a, it looks like invasion of a
00:01:58country by hundreds of thousands of
00:02:01people, and that same thing is going to happen to us if the republicans don't
00:02:05get elected, except worse, much bigger, much
00:02:09easier to get into, despite the fact that
00:02:12of we have built thousands of miles of
00:02:15of wall, of which I said we were going to do, but we didn't have that,
00:02:19forget it, but we have the safest border in the world, if
00:02:23we're not in office, our country will be
00:02:25invaded at levels that made Spain look smaller.
00:02:31Yeah, you now, President Trump used this crisis as a warning about what US
00:02:34immigration policy, but inside of Europe, the debate looks
00:02:38different, see 22 EU leaders claimed outrage and they signed a letter criticizing
00:02:42Spain's prime minister, Pedro
00:02:44of Sanchez, arguing that his government's migration policies helped to create the conditions
00:02:48for this disaster. They pointed to
00:02:49a recent Spanish Supreme Court ruling that prevented authorities from immediately
00:02:53deporting migrants who
00:02:55me arrived by sea without due process. Los Sanchez fired back saying that
00:02:59human smugglers. deliberately distorted that ruling, convincing thousands of
00:03:02people that they could simply swim around the border fence, but
00:03:06while Europe was arguing amongst itself, right? there was another part
00:03:09of the story that
00:03:10in barely got any attention here in the United States. listen to
00:03:13this. It's true that, I think
00:03:16they that Rabat has done it, has tolerated
00:03:19it, because they knew that Israel and the
00:03:23United States would be fine with that. I think
00:03:27in nobody can mobilize
00:03:28f 50,00 people. 6000
00:03:31a people without the the permission
00:03:32of the king of Morocco, that's unbelievable, so
00:03:36it's so it's also
00:03:37of
00:03:37of difficult that Israel or or
00:03:40of America of could have organized it, but everybody tolerated, that
00:03:44that's for sure, I'm sure the Msad knew what what was going to happen,
00:03:48I'm sure the CIA knew what was going
00:03:51of to happen, yeah, Spanish journalist Miguel Mora is one
00:03:55of the many people online making a series of stunning allegations there, they
00:03:59claim that Moroccos. government
00:04:00of deliberately mobilized
00:04:02of those thousands of migrants towards Sayuda with the approval of King
00:04:06Muhammad and that foreign intelligence agencies including Masad and the
00:04:10CIA were aware the plan but did not warn Spain.
00:04:18very clear in the last months about
00:04:21the Spanish disloyalty
00:04:25with and NATO and with Israel
00:04:28buse we have. remember the Spanish government
00:04:31of has been quite the only one in Europe that has
00:04:34denounced the genocide in Palestine and Gaza
00:04:38and it was one
00:04:42of of the first that recognized this the
00:04:44of Palestinian state, so according to Mora, the migrant surge was
00:04:48intended as political pressure on Madrid over Spain's recognition of
00:04:52a Palestinian state. It's criticism of Israel's war in Gaza and his decision
00:04:56to defy the United States and Israel on those issues. Well now those... claims
00:05:00have not been substantiated, we should point that out, but considering what we are hearing from law
00:05:04makers in our own country, it does make you think, congressman
00:05:08Thomas Massy himself says the timing of this crisis was
00:05:12of not, a coincidence, he pointed out that just two weeks before the
00:05:16border collapse, two weeks, the US house passed HR
00:05:198595 by vote of 217 to 209.
00:05:22Republicans supported it 215 to one.
00:05:26Thomas Massy was the only Republican who voted no. Now, Massi has
00:05:30said that the bill effectively handed Suuda to Morocco. What
00:05:34he's referring to is language inside the House Appropriations Committee
00:05:38report, which recognized that Sayoda and Malya sit
00:05:41within. and express support for
00:05:45diplomatic talks between Morocco and Spain over their future
00:05:48status. That language,
00:05:50by the way, it's not binding law. It does not change who controls the territory,
00:05:54but it does do something else. It puts the United States on record, acknowledging
00:05:57Morocco's claim against a NATO ally,
00:06:00and that's the part that should give you pause, because Congress didn't hand Saiuda over to
00:06:04Morocco, no question about that, but it did, it did give
00:06:08Morocco's position new political legitimacy.
00:06:12and then just two weeks later that very territory became the center
00:06:16of one of Europe's largest migration crisis in years.
00:06:20now whether you believe that those events are directly connected or not, the
00:06:24timing is something you just can't ignore, especially when you consider
00:06:28that two weeks before 60,000 migrants storm seyuda, congress
00:06:31mentioned seyuda by name an
00:06:35appropriations bill. i think about this, i wonder how many times in
00:06:38america's 250 year history congress has ever had bill.
00:06:42with the nameuda in it, the first time they do, two weeks
00:06:46later, this happens, come on, also, also, how many members of
00:06:50congress who voted for that bill even read the committee report, how many
00:06:54even new Sayuda was mentioned, or better yet, how about
00:06:57this, right now, how many them could even find Sayuda
00:07:01on the map? well, now the
00:07:05recent migrant crisis in Spain's Sayuda region as we've been telling you,
00:07:09has actually returned Madrid to its long-time headache.
00:07:12diplomatic balance between neighboring Morocco and Algeria,
00:07:16see the nations are very important for Spain, but from different perspectives
00:07:20and at the center of it all, energy. RT

00:07:27Spain is facing two very different crises at the same time, one
00:07:31its border, the other in its energy sector, and together they
00:07:35reveal just how difficult it has become for Madrid to
00:07:39balance its relationships with both Morocco and Algeria.
00:08:12another issue has quietly become just as important, the issue
00:08:16of energy. emit global uncertainty and pressure on
00:08:19international gas markets amid the US war in Iran,
00:08:23Spain has been working to reinforce its energy partnership
00:08:27with Algers, one of its biggest suppliers
00:08:31of natural gas. Algeria was our first
00:08:34supplier of natural gas a time of extraordinary uncertainty in
00:08:38international markets. From Spain, we especially value Algeria's position
00:08:42as strategic partner and reliable partner. Obviously, it's not
00:08:46just a supply relationship, we also want to collaborate to face together the
00:08:49challenges the energy transition, technological innovation, and
00:08:53also the digitalization of infrastructure. Today we are at the beginning of
00:08:57new phase. Algeria can count on Spain, it's a key partner to
00:09:01us with its geographical proximity. Spain's position
00:09:05is unique because it shares a maritime border with Morocco,
00:09:09key partner migration and security, while Algeria. supplies
00:09:13much the natural gas that powers Spanish homes and businesses.
00:09:16For years, Madrid managed to maintain good business ties with
00:09:20both of those nearby countries. Up to 2021,
00:09:24Algeria was exporting gas to Spain through two
00:09:27pipelines: one, the medgaz pipeline runs directly
00:09:30under the Mediterranean sea. The other, the Magharib Europe pipeline
00:09:34ran through neighboring Morocco before going to Spain. The arrangement
00:09:38worked for everyone. Algir sold its gas, but about earned...
00:09:42transit fees
00:09:43and received part the supplies, while Madrid benefited from two
00:09:47separate import roots, but that changed in
00:09:502021. you see, relations between those two north
00:09:54african nations have been tense since the
00:09:561960s, but they worsen dramatically in
00:10:002021 over a variety of issues, particularly
00:10:04territory in the sahara, and so amid that situation,
00:10:07Algeries decided not to renew the contract for the Magharib Europe
00:10:11pipeline and gas exports through Morocco,
00:10:15that is despite repeatedly expressed its desire to keep the root
00:10:19open. Morocco's desire to retain this export
00:10:22route has been expressed clearly and... consistently at all levels for more
00:10:26than three years. Algeria, meanwhile, announced that it would end
00:10:30the agreement citing what it described as supposedly hostile
00:10:34actions by Morocco. In view the hostile practices
00:10:38the kingdom of Morocco towards Algeria, practices that undermine
00:10:42national unity, and after consultation with the prime minister, the minister of
00:10:45finance, the minister of foreign affairs and national community
00:10:49abroad, and the minister of energy and mines, the president the
00:10:53republic has instructed. the national company, Sonatrack, to
00:10:57cease all commercial relations with the Moroccan side, and to not
00:11:01renew the contract in question. From then on, Algerian gas
00:11:04bound for Spain would travel exclusively through the med gas
00:11:08pipeline beneath the Mediterranean, bypassing Morocco
00:11:12entirely, and yet Madrid continued emphasize the
00:11:16importance of its relationship with Arabat. Morocco has been and
00:11:20will remain a strategic ally for Spain and the European Union.
00:11:23Morocco is a param. importance for the interests of Spain, what we
00:11:27want is a strategic relationship with Morocco even stronger than
00:11:31before. the balancing act became even more complicated in
00:11:342022, when Spain began supplying gas to
00:11:38Morocco, move that raised concerns in Algeria about
00:11:42the origin of that gas. Madrid insisted that it was
00:11:45not Algerian. Spain is seeking to strengthen energy deals with
00:11:49Algeria while also relying on Morocco's cooperation on migration
00:11:53and borderman. managment and both relationships are
00:11:57strategically important for Spain. The latest events in
00:12:00Sipta, also known as seuta have reignited questions about how
00:12:04migration and diplomacy intersect in the region. In
00:12:082021, after Spain allowed the leader of Polisario Front,
00:12:12an organization that Morocco sees as separatist movement and a proxy group
00:12:16controlled by Algeria, to come to Spain and receive a medical
00:12:20treatment, thousands of migrants cross into sa,
00:12:24which again is... is the city that Morocco views a Spanish occupied
00:12:27territory, making the whole situation even more
00:12:31complicated. Spanish officials then accused Morocco of easing
00:12:35border controls during the diplomatic dispute, an allegation that Morocco
00:12:38rejected. Whether these developments are directly connected or
00:12:42simply unfolding at the same time, remains a matter of political
00:12:46debate. But what is clear is that Spain's geography leaves
00:12:50it closely tied to both Morocco and Algeria, and as
00:12:54migration, energy security and regional tensions continue to
00:12:58overlap, maintaining the delicate balance is
00:13:01becoming increasingly
00:13:03difficult. so joining
00:13:07us now to discuss is harrison smith, host the war room
00:13:15me. all right, so let's talk
00:13:15about this. i know you you know lot about this issue, you've talked lot about it. first
00:13:19of all, let ask what do you make of of Thomas Massy and
00:13:23the... points that he makes
00:13:26regarding congress voting on this just two weeks before, the fact that every
00:13:30Republican voted for it, he was the only one who did not, and
00:13:33specifically the fact that as I mentioned, I think most members of Congress couldn't
00:13:37even tell you where Zayuta is a map, they have no idea, and yet suddenly this
00:13:41thing creeps into an appropriations bill, and I'm willing to bet it's it's
00:13:45never been in any bill prior to this, so I'm very surprised that it shows
00:13:49up all of sudden, it just correlation is too close, it's too
00:13:52bizarre. Oh yeah, Absolutely, I don't think it's a
00:13:56coincidence at all. The the money, the 40 million that Thomas
00:13:59Massy pointed out uh, is just the sort the carot to go
00:14:03along with the stick, but really this is about, I think the diplomatic
00:14:07manipulation, basically putting pressure on Spain. There was
00:14:11also,
00:14:11you know, statements put out by American congressman claiming that
00:14:15Sauta it was Spanish occupied, essentially saying Morockan
00:14:19territory. This is ridiculous, these places have been Spanish since before
00:14:22Morocco was nation, uh, it'd be like, somebody in Russia saying that
00:14:26we had to give Alaska back uh, but even more ridiculous, I mean Alaska,
00:14:30that's, there are people in living memory who are older than Alaska as a state,
00:14:34but say Utah, I mean this has been hundreds of years, so this
00:14:38wasn't created by America, this pressure point, this uh sort of pressure
00:14:42release valve a lot of ways and it wasn't created by Israel, but they're applying
00:14:45pressure in order to get concessions elsewhere, so I i believe this is a big
00:14:49diplomatic game, obviously everybody has ulterior motives, the reason they're saying
00:14:53they're doing one thing is... is not the actual reason, this is about pressuring
00:14:57Spain to get concessions um over their behavior and
00:15:00and antagonism towards America and Israel's behavior in the Middle East, yeah,
00:15:04you're you're 100% right when you say it's even more ridiculous than asking us to give
00:15:08Alaska back, I believe Suuda has been spanish territory since
00:15:111582, like it's longer before the new
00:15:15world had even been discovered this has been Spanish territory, so the idea that suddenly
00:15:19it's like no, it's been colonized and it needs to be returned is is ludicrous,
00:15:23there's also the issue of course. of Benjamin Netanyahu, right, and the
00:15:27threats that he's made, publicly made threats to Spain and
00:15:31towards Spain for not backing Israel for talking about a Palestinian
00:15:35state and has said, "don't forget what's happened to
00:15:39you in the past, to see this coming, now there's no, direct smoking gun
00:15:42in Netanyahu's hand over this, but the idea that both the masad and
00:15:46CIA may have been involved in trying to make this happen as punishment to
00:15:50Spain, not just because of migrants, right, but it's more the PR crisis
00:15:54that comes with it seems like the more likely scenario. yeah,
00:15:57absolutely, and I think it's even deeper than that uh, because the PR,
00:16:01obviously,
00:16:02you know, Israel is desperately looking for ways to improve their PR, I
00:16:06think it has more to..." do with they would they want Spain to
00:16:10actively participate in their military actions so that Spain has no
00:16:14standing to be against them in the ICC or some other international
00:16:17body because Spain is actually like helped the ICC, they
00:16:21were probing the Gaza rights abuses uh they actually so I'm not sure exactly
00:16:25how it works but they they basically backed up the prosecution side, the South African
00:16:29side who brought the case for war crimes against nan Yahoo
00:16:32and um Israel's a state, Spain backed them up and were on their
00:16:36side, now if you can get Spain to provide bases and provide
00:16:39weaponry for these actions, that sort of undercuts their ability to stand
00:16:43up against it.
00:16:44I i think they are trying to force Spain into active participation, not just
00:16:48you know shut up, stop criticizing us, but actually you have to
00:16:51cooperate with us so you're complicit and can no longer stand against us on the
00:16:55international stage. So PR is one aspect of it, but there are legal
00:16:59consequences to this that have to do with the ICC, and if you've been following the drama the
00:17:03ICC, clearly Israel is going above and beyond, and
00:17:06using... their favorite weapon, which is American
00:17:09diplomatic gravitas, to achieve their ends.
00:17:13do you ever think the members of congress, do you think
00:17:15they ever are self-aware enough to feel stupid, meaning feeling like,
00:17:19you know what, i didn't even realize until until massy pointed it
00:17:22out, maybe we got bamboosled, maybe we were tricked into something, or they just
00:17:26so oblivious to everything that it's like, nah, yeah,
00:17:30you know what, we stand by whatever we said or signed off on that we probably didn't even
00:17:33read.
00:17:49I, I actually have kind the opposite reaction where I think they think that they're a part
00:17:52of some very sophisticated and kind of secret double not
00:17:56spy action where it's like, you don't understand, we're putting
00:18:00pressure on here so that we can get weaponry over here, it's a very sophisticated,
00:18:03complicated diplomatic, this is above your paygrate, which I think it must be
00:18:07funny to them to then turn on every single, right-wing outlet
00:18:11going, this is for Israel, this is
00:18:13you know why, here's how it's happening. uh, I think they think they're involved in like very
00:18:17high-level sophisticated diplomatic pressure campaigns and moves
00:18:21and PR, and I think they are not up to speed with
00:18:25what time it is, and how easily everybody figures this stuff out. And,
00:18:29with the Israeli, I mean, it's Netan Yahu, it's also his son, Yeere Netanyahu, or
00:18:33whatever his name is these days, uh, he since 2019,
00:18:37posting things going, hey muslims, you want to reconquer Islamic land,
00:18:41here you go, and it's a picture of southern Spain and these Spanish exclaves or
00:18:44enclaves inside Africa, so addition to that, it's you
00:18:48know the uh diplomat, whatever he's called to America
00:18:52from Israel, he was putting out things saying, this is
00:18:56long overdue and basically insinuating that they were in favor of
00:19:00this, uh, I don't even think it's that subtle, it's not, it's not like it's a
00:19:04wink a not, they're basically just saying, yeah, we orchestrated. "you know,
00:19:08what
00:19:08are you going to do about it? and it plays into the false dichotomy they're pushing forward,
00:19:12which is almost become, it's it's not really false dichotomy anymore, the
00:19:16idea that you're either in favor the quote andqute conservatives who are just Israel
00:19:20first slaves for lack of better term, or you have to be this
00:19:24like this Pedro sanchez president of Spain who is in fact deliberately opening his
00:19:28border to a massive influx of migrants from Africa or anywhere else in the
00:19:32world, this is false dichotomy, and it's it's just obvious how we're getting
00:19:35screwed both ways coming and going." Yeah, absolutely, and then you talk about
00:19:39any these, politicians, diplomats around the world who weigh in on this, the
00:19:43Ukrainian top diplomat who came out and said, it's Russian propaganda, we
00:19:47noticed that they're the ones pointing this out, and they're trying to make everyone feel scared
00:19:50of migrants and it's like, no, I think they're just showing you the pictures,
00:19:54this the part of feeling scared and the part of being nervous about this comes with what your
00:19:58eyeballs are seeing, I'll give you the last word here, yeah, absolutely no, and
00:20:02and of course there's rumors, I'm not sure if it was confirmed, but there have been photos of
00:20:06people with like whipmark. on them and the rumor was that thousands of people have been let out of
00:20:10prison specifically to participate uh in this mob attack on
00:20:13Spain. I think it's fairly obvious that this was orchestrated
00:20:17by Israel and America, which of course makes it absurd all their claims about how they're
00:20:21protecting the west from the enslot of Islam, they're they're happy to use
00:20:25Islamic bio weapons essentially uh in order to overwhelm the Spanish
00:20:29authorities to cause them a problem, so in hopes that they can get concessions elsewhere by
00:20:33going all right, you don't like that there's mobs of uh Muslims taken
00:20:37over. your onclaves, well then
00:20:39you maybe you can back off the ICC prosecution or maybe you can give us
00:20:42you know access to your airbases and maybe we can see what we can do with Morocco,
00:20:45so I think it's totally cynical and um very very illustrative the...
00:21:40russia continues to hit Ukraine with missile strikes, overnight it is reported that the
00:21:43Ukrainian struck down exactly zero, zero the Russian
00:21:47ballistic missiles targeting Kiev, rt's roman. has more on that
00:21:51tonight. now the Russian defense ministry confirmed that
00:21:55a massive strike using high precision ground-based weapons
00:21:58and long-range drones was indeed carried out
00:22:02overnight. Among the targets in Kiev was the Chiika
00:22:05logistic sensor which is used for storing and
00:22:08distributing components for long and medium range
00:22:12drones. Also hit was the logistic center of Nova Pojta,
00:22:16Ukraine's postal service, the largest automated sorting facility.
00:22:20that stores and distributes items for the production of uh
00:22:24long and medium range drones as well as robotic systems and
00:22:27electronic warfare equipment. now another transport and
00:22:31logistics center that produces drones of uh various
00:22:34modifications as well as stores and distributes various resources for the
00:22:38Ukrainian military was also struck in Kieve. another logistics
00:22:42hub called epicenter which is a large automated
00:22:46warehouse providing uh order processing, sorting, storage
00:22:50and delivery of components for the production of drones was also
00:22:54struck in Kieve. now over in the Kiev region, another
00:22:57logistic sensor called the uh terminal brovari which
00:23:01stores components for long and medium range drones, including foreign
00:23:05made drones was hit too. also there, another
00:23:08transport and logistics sensor called Araben
00:23:11Ukraine, major hub for the distribution and storage
00:23:15of components for drones was also destroyed
00:23:19and Finally, another large sorting complex of Ukraine's
00:23:23post that stores aircraft type drones and their
00:23:27components was also destroyed over in Brovari. now the Russian
00:23:30defense ministry also said that strikes against Ukraine's black
00:23:34sea ports infrastructure continues as
00:23:38three cargo ships for damaged south south of
00:23:41Odessa as they were delivering weapons and military equipment
00:23:45for the Kiev regime. Meanwhile, Kiev's own monitoring
00:23:49services. reported that the Russian attack was carried out using
00:23:53around 20 Iskander M ballistic
00:23:56missiles, around 10 hypersonic Zirkan
00:24:00missiles and 40, 40 to 50 gan missiles. Now
00:24:04locals also know that they did not see any
00:24:08air defense being deployed as not a single Russian ballistic missile
00:24:12was intercepted, and speaking of that, well Vladimir
00:24:15Zelensky has been complaining recently that Ukraine is
00:24:19unable to... intercept Russian ballistic missiles due to
00:24:22lack of munitions for US patriot
00:24:25systems. There has been quite a lot of talk
00:24:29regarding the fact that Washington may one day grant the Kiv
00:24:32regime license to produce its own patriot missiles. While
00:24:36that seems completely unrealistic and unlikely,
00:24:40Zelensky and his Click are talking about that as having
00:24:44some kind of wonder weapon that will change the course of
00:24:47events. While Washington had well sort of
00:24:51hinted that the US is thinking about granting key of that
00:24:55license, Donald Trump seems to be more in touch with
00:24:58reality and the key regime. you have to be
00:25:02very judicious, but you have to be very careful.
00:25:06uh, now we have not agreed to that, we're
00:25:09talking about it, but it's a hard thing to give away that kind of
00:25:12technology. uh, and I don't think this would ever happen,
00:25:16but
00:25:17you know, those people that you give that technology, they can someday turn.
00:25:20on you, meanwile, due to complete
00:25:24impotance on the battlefield and regular Russian troops
00:25:27advances, the Kiv regime has turned to blatant
00:25:31terrorism against Russian civilians. Defense ministry reported that
00:25:35overnight 475 aircraft type drones
00:25:39were intercepted and destroyed over 17 different regions
00:25:43of Russia. Daily drone attacks target
00:25:46unsuspecting people at seaside vacation.
00:25:50resorts, kids at playgrounds, people driving
00:25:53between cities, people simply coming home or going to
00:25:57work and etc and etc. now those attacks are presented
00:26:01by zelensky to: "the world has some sort of crucial
00:26:05advantage over Moscow that's supposed to turn the tides and
00:26:08make Russia request to humiliating peace. Well, Russia's daily
00:26:12retaliation attacks against Kiev's and military installations and related
00:26:16facilities prove quite the opposite. If the goals the special
00:26:19military operation cannot be achieved diplomatically, then
00:26:23the army will have final say in reaching the
00:26:26peace. All right, tonight, new senate
00:26:30report says that some the world's biggest." Banks fail to alert the government in
