00:27:24country is not Russia, so that then creates a
00:27:27whole other level, that that creates so many questions, when you also
00:27:31add into this... the the fact that sometime earlier
00:27:35this year um it it emerged that there were a couple of social media users
00:27:39in Nigeria who were arrested for tweets that they
00:27:43made being critical of US and Israely foreign policy and
00:27:46apparently the reason they were arrested was
00:27:48that the US embassy in Nigeria submitted petition to the office the
00:27:52national security advisor which effectively means that the US Embassis
00:27:56basically running Nigeria's internal policy and doing digital
00:28:00surveillance in Nigeria so when you put these
00:28:03you separate pictures together, you then get this very disturbing picture

00:28:11institutional level by foreign government, the US

00:28:15the US government is now

00:30:02substance. has that led to any kind of outtry, any kind of
00:30:05sizeable reaction in Nigeria?
00:30:09um, it's led to some social media reaction, but as I said, there's been
00:30:13no institutional response whatsoever, which can only lead me to
00:30:17conclude that obviously, based on the size the audience that I've seen it,
00:30:21there's no way the state is not aware of it, but
00:30:25also it's it's clear that the state does not have any
00:30:29intention of acting, the state doesn't see a problem with it, "and
00:30:32I'm guessing the reason the state doesn't see a problem with
00:30:35it is because of which entity is involved. I am
00:30:39willing to bet is significant sum of money that if we had seen that exact
00:30:43same video come out, but it was a Russian anthem or a
00:30:46Chinese or North Korean or Iranian anthem that was being sung, the
00:30:50institutional reaction would have been a lot more would have been very different and you would have seen
00:30:54a lot more puff and puff from the government, but because it's a US
00:30:57anthem, you everyone is pretending not..."
