00:00:25any words, initiatives or ideas entering the public discourse, so he can
00:00:29push for... breathing room, Russia's foreign minister dismisses Vladimir
00:00:33Zelenskire calls as a ploy to
00:00:36re-group Ukraine's forces. That is, after Keyev
00:00:40demanded the guns fall silent for 60 days to
00:00:44allow for elections. The more we help Ukraine, the
00:00:48sooner the war will be over. And Brussels adopts yet another
00:00:52package of anti-Russian sanctions with the EU hoping its
00:00:5522nd round of restrictions will do what the previous 21s
00:00:59have. fail to do of
00:01:00of course of that to try and bring Moscow to its
00:01:04of knees. Also in the program, Europe condemns the deadly hoothy
00:01:08in attacks on Riyad's main airport, blaming the group for causing a
00:01:11spiral of violence. Although Brussels conveniently overlooks its
00:01:15own role in fueling the violence when it pumped Saudi Arabia
00:01:19full of weapons in the earlier phases
00:01:23of of in the in conflict. And India sees a third day of mass
00:01:27protests as demonstrators accused the ruling part. of electoral
00:01:31of fraud and with the government rejecting the accusations, we look into the
00:01:35root causes
00:01:36of the
00:01:36unrest.
00:01:45well, good evening from Moscow, it's our just after 8 p.m. on
00:01:48of Monday and we should be wall to wall with our guests and correspondents, lot of
00:01:52commentary for you live this hour on RT international. so Vladimir
00:01:56Zelensky will do anything to
00:01:58a buy time to regr. That is the view of Russia's
00:02:01foreign minister, emit yet more talk
00:02:05of from Keyev of a cease
00:02:07of fire. In recent months, the
00:02:11of call for a ceasefire has replaced the call for inflicting a strategic defeat
00:02:15on Russia, in the rhetoric of both
00:02:18of Zelensky and his western masters. The goal is
00:02:20of singular and very simple, to buy time. He is even said
00:02:24he is willing to hold a presidential election, provided he is given
00:02:28two months to regroup. During that period, Europe could flood him
00:02:32with new weaponry to continue his terrorist war against the Russian
00:02:35people,
00:02:36of but his feined astonishment regarding President Trump's statement reflects
00:02:40only one thing: that he desperately wants to use any
00:02:43words, any initiatives
00:02:46of and any ideas that enter the public sphere to promote his interest in
00:02:50a breathing space, by hook or by Crook. I do not believe
00:02:53a he has earn such
00:02:57a a respit, nor do I think we will once again fall for assurances or promises. The president. has stated this very
00:03:01of clearly. We continue to pursue the objectives
00:03:04of the special military operation. These objectives are well-known
00:03:07to everyone. We have never
00:03:09of altered them, unlike the zigzags and evasions of Zelensky and his
00:03:13European masters. The political pressure on Vladimir
00:03:17Zelenski is mounting on several
00:03:20of fronts. First, as you know, the American president has stressed Ukraine is
00:03:23a in need of new leadership. In response, Zelensky demanded
00:03:27a 60-day total cease. to prepare the country to go to the
00:03:31polls, but it's not just electoral issues that have put Zelensky's old
00:03:35acting skills back on display,
00:03:39buse after Washington announced a deal on Russian diesel exports, the
00:03:43decision was not well received in Kiev and by
00:03:47of of Vladimir Zelensky
00:03:48of in of particular. President Trump said
00:03:51of that um that we need Ukraine needs new president, so
00:03:55first of all with all respect to president
00:03:57a Trump uh... "it's up to
00:04:01our society, up to our people to choose
00:04:04one or another leader. why are they
00:04:08blaming you for the continuation of this war?
00:04:11because these people can't find
00:04:15a key how to stop
00:04:19of Putin, because it's
00:04:21more
00:04:24of difficult to stop Putin than to pressure
00:04:27others. well,
00:04:31of
00:04:34to
00:04:37a make an enemy out of Donald Trump. the recent reaction, the outburs of
00:04:40anger from the Ukrainian
00:04:44of leader after the quite historical words
00:04:47coming from the mouth
00:04:50of the President
00:04:50of the United States Donald Trump, that the democratic
00:04:54election should be put in place
00:04:57in in Ukraine because the current leader is not. serving his
00:05:01nation and the um its um
00:05:05uh rightfully um so
00:05:08basically um Mr. Zelinski is putting everything.
00:05:12into one basket, so basically she's he's playing a
00:05:16Russian, quite simply put it, because he's
00:05:20batting on democrats coming to power
00:05:23after the midterms elections related to this
00:05:27popularity the Donald Trump in the United States due to
00:05:30his um unnecessary conflict with Iran,
00:05:34so uh basically the the the thinking
00:05:38in Brussels and both in Kiev and Brussels is
00:05:41that... the democrats will take the majority in the United
00:05:45States, the uh the previous scenario, which is
00:05:49continuation of maximum pressure on Russia and
00:05:52supplying Ukraine with
00:05:56money and weapons will continue, so I think that
00:06:00this is the uh one way streak um for for Mr. Zelinski,
00:06:04because maybe even if the democrats will come to power,
00:06:08still the Donald Trump is a president and has a significant
00:06:12uh... influence over the foreign policy of his own uh country,
00:06:16so I i think that making an enemies both with
00:06:19Russia and United States who is the main sponsor, who has been the main
00:06:23sponsor of this unnecessary conflict uh is very dangerous
00:06:27uh again plan from Mr. Zelenski in his political
00:06:30circle now this all comes as the European
00:06:34Union has approved yet another package of
00:06:38sanctions on Russia by the way it's number 22, Russells once again
00:06:42claimed. It's important to keep increasing pressure on Moscow and provide yet
00:06:45more support to Ukraine, at the same time, it's very
00:06:49unhappy with Donald Trump's new diesel deal with
00:06:52Russia. We acknowledge the
00:06:56agreement between the United States and Russia regarding the export of
00:06:59diesel, Russia will only negotiate seriously under
00:07:02pressure, which is why
00:07:03we are sticking to our sanctions against Russia. The more we help Ukraine,
00:07:07the sooner the war will be over. What we need to do is refocus and redouble our
00:07:11efforts. keeping pressure on Russia, that has to be our priority and that is
00:07:15Europe's priority, this deal doesn't help neither the
00:07:19prices the oil products, nor the unity within the
00:07:22transatlantic community what concerns pressure on Russia, and it is
00:07:26not the European way, our way is to increase pressure buse we
00:07:30already seen how it works, we are not done here cuuse for Europe this
00:07:34is the vital interest to help Ukraine to sustain
00:07:38uh this winter and continuing putting as I already said pressure, pressure
00:07:42pressure. on Russia. On Friday, Trump and Putin cut a deal
00:07:46with Washington lifting sanctions on Moscow's diesel
00:07:49exports. The news saw oil prices fall, although
00:07:53they remain above 100 bucks a barrel. According to the
00:07:56agreement, Moscow will supply 300 thousand tons of diesel
00:08:00to American and global markets followed by a further half million in
00:08:04November. Another million will come after that with a further 3
00:08:08million later depending on the condition of Russia's refineries. The
00:08:11decision has... been seized upon by much the media, although they do conveniently
00:08:15ignore Europe's own continued thirst for Russian fuel, something
00:08:19that hasn't escaped the attention the US
00:08:23president. The European
00:08:27Union paid Russia 250 billion dollars for energy,
00:08:30and the fake news media doesn't want to get near that story. I made the
00:08:34right choice for the American people, always America
00:08:37first. The 22nd package of sanctions, you sanctioning all
00:08:41these Russian. entities and Russian companies, firms, people,
00:08:45just individuals, and clearly this happening against the backdrop of this diesel deal, again
00:08:49it's a message to Washington,
00:08:50but realistically though, this has been the point that Europe has been making all
00:08:54along, like we need to apply pressure on Russia to bring the
00:08:58war, the end the war closer, this is clearly not working, but you know this
00:09:02definition of insanity, one the definitions, insanity is you know
00:09:06doing the same thing over and over again and each time
00:09:09hoping for different result, well I'm sure they are already. thinking what they could include
00:09:13into the 23rd package, how can we make the 23rd sanctions
00:09:17package the biggest yet? you can clearly hear the rhetoric, for
00:09:20instance, the what the Estonian prime minister has said, who
00:09:23openly, openly defied Washington and
00:09:27called upon Ukraine to keep on striking the Russian
00:09:30oil refineries, have listen, such
00:09:34an agreement goes against the long-term efforts the western world to limit the
00:09:38flow of energy revenues to Putin, the U.S. is already convinced
00:09:42allies, including us, to abandon Russian fuel. The long-term
00:09:46goal of depriving Russia of funds is correct, and it must be
00:09:49continued. In Estonia, and at the European Council, it is
00:09:53worth discussing next week whether we can quickly contribute more to Ukraine
00:09:57so that they can strike Russian oil refineries. It
00:10:01is a bit ironic though that they cry foul in
00:10:05unison all together, Europe saying, oh, how can you give, how can
00:10:09you fund, fund Putin's war effort with your money? with your
00:10:12diesel deal, and it is ironic, because this is something that Europe has been
00:10:16doing all these years, literally all these years, Europe has been
00:10:20buying gas, has been buying russia, russia's metals uh, pretty
00:10:24much... just this year alone they purchased Europe purchased just about
00:10:2810 billion dollars worth of goods from Russia, six billions, just
00:10:32over 6 billions accounting for with well well with gas accounting
00:10:36for 6.1 billion of of this. now of course we
00:10:40don't know how how much Russia will get in this diesel deal with the
00:10:44United States given how many steps in it there is, but
00:10:47essentially if you look at the at the oil prices and if you take the figure as
00:10:51to how much Russia has agreed so far to to supply
00:10:55the United States with, that's in the realms of 7
00:10:59billion dollars, yeah, so 6 billion for gas in case of Europe,
00:11:037 billion uh, in case of diesel in the United States, Europe has
00:11:07been doing all the same things, they have been you know also funding Putin's war
00:11:11efforts and so on, it just they've been doing it quietly, seems like the only
00:11:14threat to to this deal is Kiev, because Zelinski said that he's going to
00:11:18continue attacking Russian oil refineries, but
00:11:22why is he so keen on uh? sabotaging
00:11:25Washington's uh plans. Well, it's pretty clear, you just have to look at what
00:11:29Kiev has had to say before that. They wanted this energy deal, but
00:11:33a very different well-shape and form. They wanted
00:11:37strikes against you know power stations to be included to be
00:11:40banned under this deal, strikes against port infrastructure, against
00:11:44rail infrastructure. They wanted all of that to be banned under this,
00:11:48umbrella energy deal. Well, Russia has from the very good go has
00:11:52been saying, well, refineries fine, let's let's hold the... strikes and
00:11:55well it's it's clear why, because well Ukraine doesn't really produce
00:11:59anything in this sense. Zelensky, well he's been uh, he's been
00:12:03making some very unhinged claim saying that well, the United States should have come
00:12:07to Ukraine and made deal with Ukraine, as if Ukraine,
00:12:11well in his words it does, controls the out the Russian
00:12:14output, have
00:12:15a have listen, why doesn't America conclude a diesel deal with
00:12:19Ukraine? Let Ukraine offer a diesel deal, we
00:12:23influence whether these ships go or not, whether these refineries work or
00:12:26not, so yes, let's sign the corresponding diesel deal with the President
00:12:30the United States of America. Again, this is also quite
00:12:34ironic to come from a man whose entire budget, entire country
00:12:38lives of whatever Europe has to give to them,
00:12:41otherwise they don't even have enough to pay salaries to the most crucial part
00:12:45their society right now, and that's their serviceman. teams
00:12:49that the weight of supporting uh Kiev's
00:12:52war machine is now uh being... pressed on uh Brussel's
00:12:56shoulders, so what does Russia have to say about? Indeed, it has been
00:13:00the policy the Trump administration for a while now,
00:13:04you know, let Europe pay for the war in Europe. According to Russia, well,
00:13:08Europe has already shown that it is not, they can say, they can
00:13:11talk however much they want about wanting to bring this war to an
00:13:15end, but they don't, because every because we've seen everything that they have implied
00:13:19so far, here it has failed, but still, Europe is
00:13:23definitely a party act. like a party in this war while Washington is
00:13:27trying to uh have look and try to trying to find
00:13:30solutions, the Europeans clearly do not belong to
00:13:34the party of peace, the party that seeks ways toward a peaceful settlement. the
00:13:38Europeans are more like the party of war which continues to do everything to prevent
00:13:42this war from stopping. we are far more impressed by the efforts the American
00:13:46negotiators. so right now we are a bit of cross roads here with
00:13:50one way being, well it could all with, mean all of this huffing
00:13:54and puffing if... "that will just remain that you know all talk
00:13:58and uh Europe and Zelensky will talk uh very
00:14:01tough but won't act on these words, or if they will decide
00:14:05to directly try and disrupt Russia's well shipments to the United
00:14:09States, beat vessels or be it attacks against you know infrastructure inside
00:14:12Russia and that would be interesting to see if they choose that that
00:14:16sort of course of events, if they choose the latter then well Trump has quite a few quite
00:14:20a few means to apply pressure and to punish uh anyone well in
00:14:24Ukraine for..." in Ukraine and Europe for disobedience, starting with the
00:14:28most obvious options like cutting intelligence sharing and switching off the
00:14:31starlink, dishes and despite
00:14:35European condemnation of a US deal with Russia, Europe certainly
00:14:39faces its own diesel problems. Decades of policies
00:14:43favoring diesel have left the EU heavily dependent on it,
00:14:46while the prices have surged across the entire
00:14:50block. In Germany, the prices are just going through the roof, while in the
00:14:54Netherlands they've... even higher, the spike is
00:14:57adding to the pressure on European drivers and businesses already
00:15:01strangled by rising
00:15:02costs. Our costs have
00:15:06increased by around 300 to 400 a month, if this trend
00:15:10continues throughout the year, we will end up spending additional 3,600 to
00:15:14400 year on fuel
00:15:16alone. The government seems
00:15:19to be living an elitist bubble, completely disconnected from the lives of
00:15:23most Portuguese people. You only have to go to cafe or a
00:15:27supermarket and talk to ordinary people to find out what their biggest concerns
00:15:30are. They're worried about the price of diesel and the cost of
00:15:33rent. Well let's break this all down with an expert crossing. Right
00:15:37now, there he is, Iker Hammer, economist and publisher the Verdshaft's
00:15:41actual business letter, joining us live and worldwide here on RT International, so
00:15:45glad to get you ik, what do you think of this mate, European leaders
00:15:48condemming Trump's diesel deal with Russia, arguing it's all
00:15:52about, well he's funding Moscow's war, and yet
00:15:56Iker, amid surging diesel prices, are European
00:15:59governments prioritizing political commitments to Ukraine over their
00:16:03own economic interests, perhaps, well...
00:16:07less definitely, but even worse. We all have to remember that
00:16:11it's pretty recent, they gave a present to
00:16:15the Israelians
00:16:16of few hundred thousand liters of of diesel, so they gave it
00:16:20away for present, even
00:16:22the the emergency reserve, now they are touching the emergency reserve
00:16:25because Donald Trump ordered them. I guess it is because he
00:16:29wants to win the midterm elections after 2nd
00:16:32November, his his aims are totally
00:16:36different, but now... now the governments in the
00:16:39so-called west Europe, like the German government, they have
00:16:43to explain their people why they betray them, why they give
00:16:47the diesel away, whereas the diesel price is going through the roof
00:16:51within Germany, and on the same time the AFD, the
00:16:55opposition is winning one elect after the next a
00:16:58landside, a leng slide wins, and this is
00:17:02now getting very very nervous, especially within the parties in the
00:17:06ruling parties. because more and more these functionaries
00:17:10have to go home, they are are out of business, and when they are
00:17:14out of business, they don't know anything else but being politicians and
00:17:18and and liking this this luxury life, so now
00:17:22we really have a the problem that these
00:17:25politicians cannot justify their behavior, and it's getting more
00:17:29and more obvious for the ordinary on the street that they
00:17:32are, that they are betrayed by their own politicians. yeah, i
00:17:36think
00:17:37you make very good... point that hence we've seen so many protests and
00:17:40demonstrations across major European cities in the past few days, you know
00:17:44people are upset with the total cost of living for example, social services, but they're
00:17:48also at the end the day, like you suggest, they just fed up with the damn
00:17:51establishment, never looking out for the everyday tax payers
00:17:55interests, meantime, the European economy has just been gutted
00:17:59and continues to be gutted ever since Europe said no more Russian
00:18:02energy, do
00:18:04do you think Europe is in such a corner now of being? so
00:18:08rusophobic that there's no chance of Europe and Russia
00:18:11ever agreeing on some kind of mutually beneficial
00:18:15economic project again. I have
00:18:18the very bad suspicion that these European
00:18:22politicians or the European bureaucrats, I have to say,
00:18:25because the European Commission are not politician, they are not elected,
00:18:29they are appointed by some backdoor ch or back chamber
00:18:33uh things and they are extremely nervous to...
00:18:37lose their power because people are not, they
00:18:41don't like them anymore, they are against them, and they must
00:18:45have, or it could be, that they have betrayed the
00:18:49European people much more than anybody is still
00:18:52imagining, for example, to take away some frozen
00:18:56assets, maybe from Russia, or maybe not only the interest,
00:19:00but even more, and they don't know how to how to get these these
00:19:04funds back, so they are playing with the... the
00:19:08European Union, on the same time, France is collapsing and
00:19:12needs big big time help, everything against the rules against
00:19:16the contracts that have formed the European
00:19:19Union, and thus it is very obvious that
00:19:22they are at the end their their possibilities, and in this
00:19:26situation normally you try escape into an
00:19:30outside problem, like a war. war has been
00:19:34for decades, for centuries, it has been the last...
00:19:38um
00:19:38the last mean of of escaping the responsibility
00:19:42for your mistakes or your betrays you did
00:19:46against the own population and now they are seeing we don't
00:19:49really get this done anymore because donald trump is working
00:19:53together
00:19:53with the russians now just at the diesel thing but maybe
00:19:57even more things and we don't get the war done because let's face
00:20:01it war with the German or with the
00:20:05NATO armies is not possible against the will
00:20:09the United States, all key skills are at the
00:20:13United States and all key skills, if it's
00:20:16planes, if it's rockets, if it's whatsoever, is
00:20:19only with allowance the United States, if they
00:20:23say no, there is no war possible, and now of
00:20:27course they are very, very scared, yeah, i hear you, you
00:20:31know, it's it's such a state of affairs when you see these politicians in
00:20:35Europe
00:20:35for example, they get on the microphone, they say: all this stuff, and yet the everyday
00:20:39taxpayer, I think we're all understanding, they're so full of crap these
00:20:42days. I i think to be a European politician, you have to be a professional
00:20:46deviant, because they have no desire to look out for the everyday.
00:20:50taxpayer who put them in office. I mean, look, let ask you this and I'll let you go, but quickly,
00:20:53Iker. If the goal in the EU was European security and
00:20:57prosperity, then how much longer can these governments sustain a
00:21:01policy that pressures Russia while increasing the costs for their
00:21:05own population. You've got 30 seconds, my apologies
00:21:09and it
00:21:09it keeps until Ukraine stops to exist,
00:21:13because then nearly 1 trillion of
00:21:17loans is are evaporating and... that spills
00:21:20away the European politicians, because they are backed
00:21:24by Anglo-American financial groups and they will not
00:21:28excuse to uh to write down all
00:21:31these nearly 900 or nearly one
00:21:34trillion dollar loans from Ukraine
00:21:38and so they are then they are done, I think
00:21:42latest end of next year year after uh this thing
00:21:46is over uh one the few voices of reason in Europe right? Now
00:21:50Ig Hammer, so good to get you on the program, economist and publisher
00:21:54the Verdshaft Actuel Business Letter. Thank you very much.
00:21:58You're very welcome, thank you. The battle
00:22:01for Yemen is most certainly intensifying, hoothi forces are moving to
00:22:05secure key areas and the marib and Taiz provinces as the group
00:22:09seeks to expand its control over the country. The hootis have released
00:22:13footage their offensive against the Saudi-backed forces in those
00:22:17districts, which are at the last government controlled strong. holds on the road to the
00:22:21strategic port city of Aden,
00:22:23now this video you're seeing right now,
00:22:25it cannot be independently verified, now the Houthies have already
00:22:29claimed to have seized the port of Mocca and Petim
00:22:32Island, are two key areas which tighten their grip on the critical
00:22:36Bab almandab straight. Meanwhile,
00:22:40Saudi Arabia has issued urgent alerts for civilians near the border with
00:22:44Yemen, that's after huuti missile attack on the city of
00:22:47ABA, report say a Saudi ed fences managed to intercept an
00:22:51incoming ballistic missile, some footage here of what appears to be
00:22:55impact points in the city, all this after Riad International Airport
00:22:59was attacked three times this past week, with the
00:23:02latest, that one on Saturday, I should say, claiming the lives of
00:23:0613
00:23:07people.
00:23:38These attacks are Yemeny attacks. We do not do this out of revenge or to take
00:23:42venge, but rather to force the Saudi leadership to accept a comprehensive and
00:23:46permanent peace by agreeing to end the war.
00:23:50Well Europe has most certainly been among the voices condemning that attack on
00:23:54Riad's international
00:23:55airport. The
00:23:59deadliest Houti attack so far on Riyad's airport marks a dangerous
00:24:03escalation. These attacks by Iran's proxies are pushing the region
00:24:07into a spiral of violence. Now,
00:24:11despite those words, Riad is said to be deeply disappointed by
00:24:14the scale of support from its western allies. That is being
00:24:18reported by the way. by Bloomberg citing its own
00:24:22sources, well against this backdrop, the
00:24:25Saudis have been pressing European capitals for concrete military
00:24:29assistance, namely requesting aid from London, Paris
00:24:33and Berlin. Britain is essentially sending out these requests here,
00:24:37because at the end the day they're asking for air defenses and support for Saudi fighter
00:24:41jets. France, by the way, has pledged troops, radar
00:24:45equipment and defense systems to help protect energy infrastructure, key
00:24:48point right there. While Riat has officially requested help from Germany, it
00:24:52is still unclear whether Berlin has or will
00:24:56provide any assistance, and while help from
00:25:00Europe is clearly on the table right now, it's actually that the scale of
00:25:04support is rather different than how it was back in 2015, have look right here,
00:25:08because uh, the end the day,
00:25:10as the Saudi led push into Yemen first began, the countries were
00:25:14literally lining up at Riyad's door, only too happy to approve
00:25:17billions of euros worth of Arms. export licenses,
00:25:21France, you see top the chart with a whopping 17 billion in
00:25:25deals, the UK was a distance second, pocketing four and
00:25:29a half billion, while Berlin was certainly cashing into
00:25:33level of around two billion euros, so let's take this conversation
00:25:37further right now, and cross live to faizal al-shamari, colonist at
00:25:40arab news and macca newspaper, very warm welcome to you today, sir, thank you
00:25:44so much for joining us live and worldwide here on RT, why do you think why
00:25:48has EU support for Saudi Arabia in Yemen
00:25:52scaled down since 2015 when we're seeing such
00:25:55escalation of attacks, thank you
00:25:59for having me, first of all, second, I think uh
00:26:03we should name uh the name al
00:26:07group the real name group is not a movement is a
00:26:11terrorist organization which took we have to go
00:26:15back in time 2015 they took san by force and
00:26:19pushed the yemeni legitimate government which is recognized
00:26:22internationally even recognized
00:26:24by by the UN and lot of
00:26:28European countries and the US and even Russia
00:26:31so uh Saudi Arabia interven based on the request, then they
00:26:35pushed them back all the way to Sanha. What's going on now
00:26:39and what's different now is the war uh
00:26:42US and Israel led against Iran, this was going on
00:26:46in Yemen and the escalation, it it's very well connected to that. I
00:26:50think we need to be clear, Saudi Arabia is not asking the
00:26:54European country or the EU to fight its wars asking
00:26:57for their their partners to take regional security
00:27:01seriously. because at the end the day what whatever going on in
00:27:05Yemen, whatever going on in Saudi Arabia, it's gonna affect the European
00:27:09countries and it's gonna affect the global energy
00:27:13markets and it's gonna affect the global economy,
00:27:16so while condemning the attacks in Saudi Arabia, which
00:27:20if we take it based a UN
00:27:24mandate, that the attack on king khalid airport which
00:27:27led to 13 casualty and almost 300
00:27:31injures is ' war
00:27:34crime out on square,
00:27:37so I think Saudi Arabia is asking the
00:27:41European countries to be their partners and
00:27:44asking them as well to take responsibility for
00:27:48the sea lanes, which is not the responsibility the gulf countries or Saudi Arabia,
00:27:52international sea lanes is important for international
00:27:56orders and it need to be protected by the
00:28:00European allies and international allies. "I mean, do you think, do you
00:28:04think it should be fairly easy, shouldn't it for read right now to be getting help
00:28:08from European partners considering how energy on the
00:28:11global stage has been so heavily disrupted, whether
00:28:15it's a lack of Russian energy, lack of energy from the Persian gulf region, there was
00:28:19a huge blast at one the biggest refineries in Venezuela in the past couple
00:28:23of days as well, so so so shouldn't European partners of Riad
00:28:27be perhaps more willing to supply more defensive
00:28:31weapons to the kingdom of Saudi." Arabia, I, I think, I
00:28:35think European partners are very well
00:28:39engaged in the Ukraine war and they're spending lot of money
00:28:42in the supporting the Ukrainian government against Russia and
00:28:46supporting them with weapon and supplies, at the end the day you
00:28:49Saudi Arabia is not asking for a hand hand out, Saudi Arabia is paying for
00:28:53all these weapons. I read report,
00:28:59report it was, it was from CNN, so I take it with a pinch of salt, but from CNN just the other day said that there are two... American
00:29:03military advisers from the Pentagon currently assisting the Saudi
00:29:07side, do you have any any comment on
00:29:09that? Based on the same
00:29:12reports, CNN,
00:29:15Bloomberg and so on, they're claiming that, I don't have any
00:29:19concrete evidence of that, but what I know is
00:29:22Pakistani partner and Turkish partners are in Saudi Arabia for
00:29:26defensive rolls helping, so the based on the Mecca
00:29:30agreement, right? I was going to ask you. about the Mecca agreement in just moment because
00:29:34essentially with a hoothi apparently via satellite images we're
00:29:37seeing huthi gains in marib and taiz what
00:29:41where where is the mecca alliance sir in all of this this
00:29:45mutual defensive pack between Pakistan Saudi Arabia
00:29:48Turkia just in the last 24 hours Anchorer said we're not going to send our
00:29:52military troops to a military confrontation in the region at what point
00:29:56where are we now where does the Mecca Alliance stand today
00:29:59Faisal I think I think the Mecca Alliance is
00:30:03very good uh step in the right direction, it just it was
00:30:07signed less than a month ago, I think it's very important that the world is shifting
00:30:11from unilateral world order to multilateral world
00:30:15order, so having these alliances within the
00:30:18Muslim world and having alliances and strategic
00:30:22energy partnership with Russia, strategic economic partnership with
00:30:26China, strategic security and economic partnership with
00:30:30the EU and the United States is very important. to not to
00:30:33rely
00:30:34on one order against another, so Saudi
00:30:38Arabia played a big role even in mediation between Russia and the
00:30:42Ukraine and freeing prisoner of war both between both
00:30:46country, because the relationship is very
00:30:50very very good with Russia, so I i think the
00:30:53Mecca Alliance is taking shape
00:30:57and Pakistan sent equipment and
