00:00:30can push for some breathing room. Russia's foreign minister dismisses
00:00:33Vladimir Zelensky's
00:00:35a ceasefire calls as a ploy to regroup Ukraine's forces. That's
00:00:39after Kiev demanded the guns fall silent for 60
00:00:43in days to allow for elections. The more we help
00:00:47Ukraine, the sooner the war will be over. And Brussels adopts yet
00:00:50another package of anti-Russian sanctions with the EU hoping its
00:00:5422nd round of restrictions will do what the previous 21 have
00:00:58failed to do and that's idea is to uh bring Moscow to
00:01:02its knees. Also, Europe condemns the
00:01:06deadly Hoothiy attacks on Riad's main airport, blaming the group for causing a
00:01:10spiral of violence. Although Brussels does conveniently overlook its own
00:01:14role in fueling all that when it pumped Saudi Arabia full of weapons
00:01:18in the earlier phases
00:01:19of the
00:01:19conflict.
00:01:28All right, your Monday evening news. live on RT international, we have lot to pass along
00:01:32to it just after 9 p.m. now here in Moscow. well
00:01:36Vladimir Zelensky will do anything to buy time to regroup
00:01:40of Ukraine's forces. That is the view of Russia's foreign minister amid yet
00:01:44more talk from
00:01:47of of Keyev of a ceasefire. In recent months, the
00:01:51call for a ceasefire has replaced the call for inflicting a strategic
00:01:55defeat on
00:01:56of Russia in the rhetoric of both Zelensky and his western masters.
00:02:00The goal is singular and very simple, to buy time. He
00:02:03is even said he is willing to hold a presidential election,
00:02:07provided he is given two months to regroup. During that period,
00:02:11Europe
00:02:11of could flood him with new weaponry to continue his terrorist war against the
00:02:15Russian people. But his famined astonishment regarding
00:02:18of President Trump's statement reflects only one thing: that he
00:02:22desperately wants to use any words, any initiatives and
00:02:26any ideas that enter the public sphere to promote his interest in
00:02:30breathing space, by hook or by crook. I do not believe he has
00:02:33earned such a respit, nor do I think we will once
00:02:36a again fall
00:02:39of of for assurances or promises. The president has stated this very clearly. We continue to pursue the
00:02:43objectives
00:02:44of the special
00:02:44of military operation. These objectives are well-known
00:02:47of to everyone. We have never altered them, unlike the zigzags
00:02:51and evasions of Zelensky and his European
00:02:55of masters. The political pressure on Vladimir Zelensky
00:02:58a is mounting on. several fronts: first, the American president has
00:03:02stressed Ukraine is in need of new leader. In
00:03:06response, Zelensky has demanded a 60-day cease fire to prepare the
00:03:10country to go to the
00:03:11of polls,
00:03:11but it's not just electoral issues that have put Zelensky's old acting
00:03:15of skills back on display, because after
00:03:19Washington announced a deal on
00:03:21of Russian diesel exports, the decision was not well received in Keyev and
00:03:25by Vladimir Zelensky
00:03:27of in particular
00:03:28of himself. President, Trump said that um that we need
00:03:33a Ukraine needs new president, so first of all, with all respect to President
00:03:36Trump, it's up
00:03:40to our society, up to our people to
00:03:44choose one or another leader. Why are they
00:03:47blaming you for the continuation of this war?
00:03:51Because these people can't find
00:03:54a key how to stop
00:03:59of Putin. because it's more
00:04:02difficult to stop Putin than to pressure
00:04:06others. well, political risk consultant and
00:04:10lawyer, he says it's very foolish for
00:04:13Zelensky to make an enemy out of trump. the recent
00:04:17reaction, the outburs of anger
00:04:21from the Ukrainian leader after
00:04:25of the quite historical words coming from the mouth
00:04:30a of the president
00:04:32a of the... United States Donald Trump that uh the uh democratic
00:04:33of election should be um uh put in place
00:04:38in in in Ukraine because the current leader is not serving his nation and the
00:04:42um its on
00:04:46uh rightfully um so basically um Mr.
00:04:49Zelinski is putting everything into one basket so basically
00:04:53she's he's playing a
00:04:55a Russian rulet quite simply put it uh because he's betting
00:04:59on democrats coming to power after the
00:05:03mid-terms elections uh related to
00:05:06dispopularity uh
00:05:07of the Donald Trump in the United States due to his um
00:05:11unnecessary conflict with. so uh uh basically
00:05:14the uh
00:05:16the the thinking in Brussels and both in in
00:05:19in Kief and Brussels is that once the democrats will take the
00:05:23majority in the United States, the uh the previous scenario
00:05:27which is continuation of maximum pressure on
00:05:31Russia and supplying Ukraine
00:05:34with money and weapons will
00:05:37continue, so I think that this is the one way
00:05:41streak um for. for Mr. Zelinski because maybe even if
00:05:45the democrats will come to power still the Donald Trump is a
00:05:49president and has a significant influence over the
00:05:52foreign policy of his own uh country so I i think that making
00:05:56an enemies both with Russia and United States who is the
00:06:00main sponsor who has been the main sponsor of this unnecessary
00:06:04conflict uh is very dangerous uh again planned from Mr.
00:06:08Zelenski in his political circle yeah this
00:06:12this comes says the European Union, by the way, has approved yet
00:06:14another sanctions package on Russia, we're talking number
00:06:1822. Brussels once again claiming it's very important to keep
00:06:22increasing pressure on Moscow and provide more support for Ukraine. At
00:06:26the same time, it's certainly called out Donald Trump's new diesel
00:06:30deal with Russia. We
00:06:33acknowledge the agreement between the United States and Russia, regarding the export of
00:06:37diesel.
00:06:42to our sanctions against Russia, the more we help Ukraine, the sooner
00:06:46the war will be over. What we need to do is refocus and redouble our
00:06:49efforts in keeping pressure on Russia, that has to be our priority and that is
00:06:53Europe's priority. This deal doesn't help neither the
00:06:57prices the oil products, nor the unity within the
00:07:01transatlantic community what concerns pressure on Russia, and it is
00:07:05not the European way. Our way is to increase pressure cuz we
00:07:08already seen how it works. We are not done here cuz for Europe. "this
00:07:12is the vital interest to help Ukraine to sustain
00:07:16uh this winter and continuing putting as I already said pressure
00:07:20pressure pressure on Russia. On Friday, Trump and Putin cut a
00:07:23deal with Washington lifting sanctions on Moscow's diesel exports
00:07:27and
00:07:28the news so oil prices fall, although they remain above 100 bucks a
00:07:31barrel, but the agreement says Moscow will supply 300
00:07:35thousand tons of diesel to American and global markets followed by another half
00:07:39million in November. Another million will come after that. a further
00:07:433 million later, depending on the condition of Russia's
00:07:46refineries, the decision has been seized upon by much the media, although they
00:07:50conveniently ignore Europe's own continued thirst for Russian
00:07:54fuel, something that hasn't escaped the attention the American
00:07:58president. The
00:08:01European Union paid Russia $250 billion for
00:08:05energy, and the fake news media doesn't want to get near that
00:08:08story. I made the right choice for the American people always.
00:08:12america first 22nd package of sanctions,
00:08:16sanctioning all these russian entities and uh Russian companies,
00:08:19firms, people, just individuals, and clearly this happening against the backdrop of
00:08:23this diesel deal, again it's a message to Washington, but realistically though,
00:08:27this has been the point that Europe has been making all along, like we need to apply pressure
00:08:31on Russia to bring the war, the end the war closer,
00:08:35this is clearly not working, but this
00:08:37you know definition of insanity, one the definitions, insanity is you
00:08:41know doing, the same thing over and over again and each time
00:08:45hoping for different result. well, I'm sure they are already thinking what they could include
00:08:48into the 23rd package, how can we make the 23rd sanctions
00:08:52package the biggest yet? you can clearly hear the rhetoric, for
00:08:55instance, the what the Estonian Prime Minister has said who
00:08:58openly, openly defied Washington and
00:09:02called upon Ukraine to keep on striking the Russian oil
00:09:06refineries. have listen, such an
00:09:10agreement goes against the long-term efforts the... western world to limit the
00:09:13flow of energy revenues to Putin. The US has already convinced its
00:09:17allies, including us, to abandon Russian fuel. The
00:09:21long-term goal of depriving Russia of funds is correct, and it must be
00:09:25continued. In Estonia, and at the European Council, it is
00:09:28worth discussing next week whether we can quickly contribute more to Ukraine
00:09:32so that they can strike Russian oil refineries. It
00:09:36is a bit ironic though that they cry foul in
00:09:40unison all together, Europe saying, " "how can you give, how can
00:09:44you fund, fund Putin's war effort with your money, with your
00:09:48diesel deal, and it is ironic, because this is something that Europe has been
00:09:51doing all these years, literally all these years, Europe has been
00:09:55buying gas, has been buying Russia's Russia's metals uh, pretty
00:09:59much just this year alone they purchased Europe purchased just about
00:10:0310 billion dollars worth of goods from Russia, six billions,
00:10:07just over six billions accounting for with well, well with gas
00:10:11accounting for 6. billion of uh of this now
00:10:15of course we don't know how how much Russia will get in this diesel deal
00:10:18with the United States given how many steps in it there is, but
00:10:22essentially if you look at the at the... oil prices, and if you take the figure
00:10:26as to how much Russia has agreed so far to to
00:10:30supply the United States with, that's in the realms of
00:10:337 billion dollars, yeah, so 6 billion for gas in case of
00:10:37Europe, 7 billion in case of diesel in the United States,
00:10:41Europe has been doing all the same things, they have been you know also funding
00:10:45Putin's war efforts and so on, it just they've been doing it quietly, seems like
00:10:49the only threat to to this deal is Kiev, because Zelinski said that he's
00:10:53going to continue attacking. and oil refineries, but
00:10:57why is he so keen on uh sabotaging
00:11:01Washington's uh plans? well, it's pretty clear, you just have to look at what
00:11:04Kiev has had to say before that, they wanted this energy deal, but
00:11:08a very different, well shape and form, they wanted you know
00:11:12strikes against
00:11:13you know power stations to be included to be banned under this deal,
00:11:17strikes against port infrastructure, against rail infrastructure, they
00:11:21wanted all of that to be banned under this you know umbrella energy deal.
00:11:25well Russia has from the very gadgo has been saying, well refineries
00:11:28fine, let's let's hold the strikes, and well it's it's clear why,
00:11:32because well Ukraine doesn't really produce anything in this sense,
00:11:36Zelensky, well he's been uh, he's been making some very unhinged
00:11:39claims saying that well, the United States should have come to Ukraine
00:11:43and made deal with Ukraine, as if Ukraine, well in his words it
00:11:47does, controls the out the Russian output, have
00:11:50a have listen, why doesn't America conclude a diesel deal with
00:11:54Ukraine? let Ukraine offer a diesel deal, we
00:11:58influence whether these ships go or not, whether these refineries work or
00:12:02not, so yes, let's sign the corresponding diesel deal with the president the
00:12:06United States of America. Again, this is also quite ironic
00:12:10to come from a man whose entire budget, entire country lives
00:12:13of whatever Europe has to give to them,
00:12:17otherwise they don't even have enough to pay salaries to the most crucial part
00:12:21their society right now, and that's their servicement, it seems that...
00:12:25"the weight of supporting uh Kiev's war machine is
00:12:28now uh being pressed on uh Brussel's shoulders, so what
00:12:32does Russia have to say about? Indeed, it has been the policy the
00:12:36Trump administration for a while now, you know, let Europe pay
00:12:40for the war in Europe. According to Russia, well Europe has already shown that
00:12:44it is not, they can say, they can talk however much they want
00:12:48about wanting to bring this war to an end, but they don't, because
00:12:51every because we've seen everything that they have implied so..." far
00:12:55here it has failed, but still Europe is definitely a
00:12:59party acts like a party in this war while Washington is trying to
00:13:03uh have look and try to trying to find
00:13:05solutions, the Europeans clearly do not belong to
00:13:09the party of peace, the party that seeks ways toward a peaceful settlement, the
00:13:13Europeans are more like the party of war which continues to do everything to prevent
00:13:17this war from stopping, we are far more impressed by the efforts the American
00:13:21negotiators, so right now we are a bit of crossroads here with
00:13:25"one way being, well, it could all with, I mean, all of this huffing
00:13:29and puffing, if that will just remain that, all talk,
00:13:33and uh, Europe and Zelensky will talk very
00:13:36tough, but won't act on these words, or if they will decide
00:13:40to directly try and disrupt Russia's well shipments to the United
00:13:44States, beat vessels or be it attacks against you know infrastructure inside
00:13:47Russia, and that would be interesting to see, if they choose that that
00:13:51sort of course of events, if they choose the latter, then well Trump..." has quite a few
00:13:55quite a few means to apply pressure and to punish uh anyone well in
00:13:59Ukraine for in Ukraine and Europe for disobedience starting with the
00:14:03most obvious options like cutting intelligence sharing and switching off the
00:14:06starlink you know dishes all right let's
00:14:10have break down we got to was talking about just there with our guest right there he is former police
00:14:13officer and veteran radio and tv journalist garland nixon now joining
00:14:17us live in worldwide here on rt international garden i'm grateful to get you on and very warm
00:14:21welcome to you this story is uh it's really quite something look you know Friday's
00:14:25Trump Putin diesel dealer, it highlights how important Russian
00:14:29energy is, not just to Trump and Washington, but to the world at
00:14:32large. Zelensky though, seems pretty reluctant
00:14:36to honor this uh deal. Is is it possible do you think
00:14:40that Kiev is willing to jeopadize US
00:14:42ties and bring this to
00:14:44to to a front? It's it's a bit weiring. I mean Zelensky and Trump don't seem to be on the same
00:14:48page these days. Well,
00:14:51I and I tend to view, and people view Zelinski through different lenses and context.
00:14:55Zelinski as representative of MI6 of representative the
00:14:59intelligence agencies from Great Britain and um and and
00:15:03Europe, so I see him as a spokesperson for those, and I think what we see
00:15:06here are the various factions of NATO, certainly the the
00:15:10UK, German france faction, which um is
00:15:14certainly willing to
00:15:16you know throw their um citizens under the bus economically
00:15:19speaking on behalf of Ukraine supporting and then President Trump who's
00:15:23getting lot of pressure and politically he has to try to take
00:15:26action to um to lower prices, so I think
00:15:30that's the there's a factional battle going on here,
00:15:34and I i just think Zelinski is the mouth piece for the European faction.
00:15:38"i think i'm not going to argue with that, frankly, i love it, i love what you're saying, garland
00:15:42really, but look, if if if Zelensky's
00:15:44non-compliance renders the diesel deal
00:15:48unfeasible, how will this impact US public support for Kiev,
00:15:52given America's existing energy crisis and of course November
00:15:55elections? oh, I think it would have an effect, because the
00:15:59certainly the um support for Ukraine is deteriorated in the United
00:16:03States significantly, um, and the support for you
00:16:06know
00:16:07wars of..." overseas and for
00:16:08you know kind of imperial wars around the world has dramatically decreased as you
00:16:12know as result of um economic pain that has been suffered so I think I I'll
00:16:16tell you this it's certainly is not going to help the matter and it's probably going to
00:16:20infuriate a lot of President Trump's base that already doesn't
00:16:24like President Zelenski in the Ukraine conflict and would like to see it over
00:16:28so it's going to have a significant impact I do think that the
00:16:32the Europeans and the pro-ukrainians the Ukrainiacts as
00:16:36many of us call them. um feeling bolden th they feel like maybe the
00:16:39elections coming up and the democrats will get back in and they'll have some support
00:16:43support from that perspective, but as far as the people of America are
00:16:47concerned, it's going to anger lot of people because people want to see um
00:16:51diesel prices and they want to see uh the prices of food in the
00:16:54in the grocery stores um decrease, meantime, garland,
00:16:58we're now seeing Donald Trump asking Zelensky again, don't target
00:17:02anymore Russian energy refineries, as
00:17:06I understand this... latest request from Trump is number six. The
00:17:10reports I've read said that he's actually asked half dozen times,
00:17:14Zelensky, please don't attack Russian energy
00:17:17infrastructure. I was also reading that Axious report, I know you saw that too,
00:17:21Garland, that suggested that uh Washington considered or threaten to cut
00:17:25off Intel sharing with the Kiev side if
00:17:29Kiev wouldn't stop attacking Russian energy
00:17:32infrastructure. Um, what do you think? I mean, look, they've already asked six
00:17:36times, do you think? is gonna honor this? absolutely
00:17:40not, and part of
00:17:40it is because the um the Trump administration a numerous
00:17:44occasions has made requests um to
00:17:48the um to the to the
00:17:50Zelinsky uh the Kiev regime
00:17:54um to do various things and every time they said no, in fact every time
00:17:58they would have some kind of a peace negotiation in Istanbul the
00:18:01night before they launch people would launch a bunch of
00:18:05drones um at uh Moscow just to kind
00:18:09of register their displeasure with the action, so I think the only
00:18:13thing that will really make difference is if the Trump administration takes
00:18:16action, I think the Kiev regime doesn't believe that they will take
00:18:20significant action cuz in the past they've made the requests and they've let him get away
00:18:23with it time and time again, so I think the Trump administration is going to have to take
00:18:27significant actions if they want to realize um any
00:18:31outcome from the request that they're making. Yeah, well Trump seemed pretty, he just seemed pretty
00:18:35annoyed the other day when when
00:18:36you know they got him on that. camera outside the white house and he was like, look, Zelensky's had multiple
00:18:40chances to end the war, he's failed to do so, they need new leadership in
00:18:43Ukraine, but
00:18:45it it does seem that Zelensky gets so much support from
00:18:49Europe, is that why Zelensky often appears to
00:18:53undermine Trump? yeah, absolutely, and I
00:18:57think that he's concerned, because here's the reality, does is Vladimir
00:19:01Zelinski really even the president of Ukraine, I mean, does anybody believe
00:19:04that if Vladimir Zelinski signed some kind of a peace? deal with Russia and Trump that he
00:19:08could go back to Kiev and come out of it alive? No, the ultra nationalis would take him
00:19:12out, so I don't think
00:19:14I think we have to remember that the power, the political power
00:19:18of Zelinsky is not in Kiev, he he's been
00:19:22threatened by the ultranational before, it's in London, and so he's answering to
00:19:26his masters in London, his job is to go around and ask for more money and
00:19:30to keep the grift going, but he doesn't really have a significant
00:19:33power base in um in Kieve in the first place.
00:19:37And there he is live in worldwide in Washington DC. Garlin Nixon, former police
00:19:41officer and veteran radio and TV journalist. A great pleasure,
00:19:45thank you very much. Thank you for inviting
00:19:47me. The battle for
00:19:51Yemen is most certainly intensifying. Houti forces are moving to
00:19:55secure key areas and the Marib and Tais provinces as the group seeks to
00:19:58expand his control over the country. The hoothies have released footage
00:20:02their offensive against the Saudi backed forces in those districts
00:20:06where which are. last government controlled strongholds on the road to the strategic port
00:20:10city of Aiden. This video can't be independently
00:20:13verified, but the Houti's have already claimed to have seized the port of Mocca
00:20:17and Perim Island, are two key areas which tighten their grip on the
00:20:21critical Bab almandab straight.
00:20:25Meanwhile, Saudi Arabia has issued urgent alerts for civilians near the border with
00:20:29Yemen, that's after houti missile attack on the city of
00:20:32ABA. report say Saudi air defenses managed to intercept
00:20:35an incoming bullistic. some footage here of what appears to be
00:20:39impact points in the city, all this after read international airport was
00:20:43attacked three times this past week with Saturday's strike
00:20:47claiming the lives of 13 people.
00:21:20These attacks are Yemeny attacks. We do not do this out of revenge or to take
00:21:23vengeance, but rather to force the Saudi leadership to accept a comprehensive and
00:21:27permanent peace by agreeing to end the war.
00:21:31Well, European countries certainly among the voices, condemning the attacks on
00:21:35Riyad's international
00:21:36airport. The deadliest
00:21:40Houti attack so far on Riyad's airport marks a dangerous
00:21:43escalation. These attacks by Iran's proxies are pushing the region
00:21:47into a spiral of violence. Now despite those words
00:21:51a Riad is said to have been deeply disappointed by the scale
00:21:55of support from its western allies, that is being reported
00:21:59by Bloomberg citing its own sources. Well, nonetheless,
00:22:02against this backdrop, the Saudis have been pressing European capitals
00:22:06for concrete military assistance, namely
00:22:10requesting aid from London, Paris and Berlin. Britain so far sending
00:22:13uh air defenses along with air to air refueling support for Saudi
00:22:17fighter jets, France are pledging. troops, radars and
00:22:21defense systems to help protect energy infrastructure, well
00:22:25Riad has officially requested help from Germany, it's unclear right now whether Berlin
00:22:29has or even will send any gear to read, now while
00:22:33help from Europe is clearly on the table right now, it's nothing
00:22:37the scale of support that was uh, well offered in 2015, just
00:22:41have look back at these numbers for you right here, Saudi, when when the Saudis
00:22:45began the their military back campaign in Yemen to take on the hoothies billions of
00:22:49Euros of export licenses were made with countries across
00:22:52Europe, France, for example, look at this, I mean, huge money being
00:22:56made here for their military, industrial complex 17 bill, the
00:23:00UK right here pocketing just over four billion selling the weapons, while
00:23:03Berlin over there with a couple of bill, well former British
00:23:07diplomat Craig Mari, he says the blood spilling in Yemen is being fueled
00:23:11by western cash and western weapons, all that and so
00:23:15much more, the latest Sanchez
00:23:16effect, and um... 'there
00:23:20have been conflicts in in Kenya
00:23:23recently, in recent years, yeah, um, which
00:23:27go back to British disposession the land, Britain
00:23:31ethnically cleansed large areas of Kenya
00:23:35to put in white farmers instead, and that
00:23:37caused um certain tribes to be moved from
00:23:41their land, cleared into urban areas, where they became
00:23:45in conflict with other tribes who were already there, and and that is
00:23:49actually the direct cause of recent conflict in Kenya. If
00:23:53you look at Yamen, it was a British
00:23:55occupation of Aden and the south of Yemen,
00:23:59which caused an ident, much the identity conflict between the north and
00:24:03south
00:24:03of those countries, but the number of current
00:24:07conflicts, Britain of course invented the very concept of Saudi
00:24:11Arabia and installed the royal family, the
00:24:14roots of how many modern conflicts go back
00:24:18to British imper. so the brits and the Europeans are
00:24:22complaining about the hooties, i think the hoothis are kind of an honorable
00:24:26bunch, even though they do fight wars and sandals, which i don't
00:24:30understand, so we did a little research here, do you know how
00:24:33much money uh the uh Europeans have
00:24:37made so far in arms sales to the saudis, which again
00:24:41goes to your point about why they do these crazy things,
00:24:44right? i'm going to read it to you, right? 17
00:24:48billion france. UK made 7
00:24:52billion dollars in arms sales to the uh
00:24:55saudis right, Germany 2 billion, spain
00:24:592 billion, so to your point, of course they're
00:25:03calling the huti savages, they're they're bought and
00:25:07sold by the other side, I think
00:25:11that's that's true, and and the extraordinary thing is, but with this
00:25:15incredible imbalance of weapons, because the I
00:25:19think the... those can't be all time totals buse they've been individual
00:25:22deals has been bigger than the total you gave for the UK for
00:25:26example must be a recent period
00:25:30and well this was during this was during this was during the
00:25:34specific sorry i should have i should have clarified that thank you though for for
00:25:37for correcting me this was only during the first Saudi
00:25:41Yemen war that these numbers they've gone probably above that
00:25:45since then yes yeah you have gone way up
00:25:49past that. 'and the amount the total amount of weapons
00:25:53the the ansala people have ever possessed, it's
00:25:57probably 5% of that um
00:26:00the and yet'. 'the Saudis with all of that
00:26:04firepower, all of that modern equipment are unable to defeat them and in
00:26:08fact continually lose, the war has been over
00:26:1220 year period, a
00:26:15continual process, the Saudis losing ground,
00:26:19because they may have all the weaponry and all the money, but they have
00:26:22no belief in their in their own cause,
00:26:26and I was doing a little research yesterday, I was trying to
00:26:30tot up in the last 12 years since andstrala
00:26:33have controlled the airports in
00:26:37senat um, i found
00:26:4027 different times the saudis have bombed sanar
00:26:44airport and not on one of those 27 times
00:26:48did the European Union condemn this the Saudis for
00:26:52bombing sa airport which is a civilian
00:26:54airport nor did the BBC
00:26:58lead the lead the news nor did the BBC lead their
00:27:02news. cast with it, i bet, right? absolutely not,
00:27:06no, and some of those killed, there been instances where there were 50
00:27:09children killed in bombing of a school bus, for examples,
00:27:13not one mention in western media at
00:27:15all.
00:27:24well, earlier I was speaking with a colonist to says the conflict in Yemen has
00:27:28consequences
00:27:29that that stretch far, far far beyond that read.
00:27:34what whatever going on in Yemen, whatever going on in Saudi Arabia,
00:27:38it's gonna affect the European countries and it's gonna affect the
00:27:41global energy markets and it gna affect the
00:27:44global economy, so while condemning the attacks in
00:27:48Saudi Arabia, which if we take it based
00:27:51on un mandate that the
00:27:55attack on King Khalid airport which led to
00:27:5813 casualty and almost 300 injures is...
00:28:03war crime uh out on square,
00:28:07so I think Saudi Arabia is asking the
00:28:11European countries uh to be their partners and
00:28:14asking them as well to take responsibility for
00:28:18the sea lanes, which is not the responsibility the gulf countries or Saudi Arabia,
00:28:22international sea lanes is important for international orders
00:28:26and it need to uh to be protected by the
00:28:30European allies and international allies. "I mean, do you think, do you
00:28:33think it should be fairly easy, shouldn't it for read right now to be getting help
00:28:37from European partners considering how energy on the
00:28:41global stage has been so heavily disrupted, whether
00:28:45it's a lack of Russian energy, lack of energy from the Persian gulf region, there was
00:28:49a huge blast at one the biggest refineries in Venezuela in the past couple
00:28:53of days as well, so so so shouldn't European partners of Riad
00:28:57be perhaps more willing to supply more defensive
00:29:00weapons to the kingdom of Saudi Arabia." Yeah, I, I, I think
00:29:04I think European partners are very
00:29:08well engaged in the Ukraine war and the spending lot of money in the
00:29:12supporting the Ukrainian government against Russia and supporting
00:29:16them with weapon and supplies. At the end the day uh, Saudi
00:29:20Arabia is not asking for a hand, hand out. It's
00:29:23astonishing really when you consider for years so many people have called Yemen, the poorest
00:29:27country in the world, and yet here it is going against Saudi Arabia, one
00:29:31the richest countries. in the world in Saudi Arabia is taking
00:29:35a very bad beating. More details, pictures
00:29:39and videos online at

00:29:58When all truths seem wrong, when all rules.
00:30:02rules just don't hold, and new world is
00:30:06yet to shape out, disdain becomes the
00:30:09attacket, and engagement equals
00:30:12betrayal. When so many find
00:30:16themselves worlds apart, we choose to look for common
00:30:20ground.
00:30:35Okay, so this is what you need to know about today. First of all, Trump just came out and he
00:30:39just said this about Zelensky.
00:30:42Watch, that's a war that should have never started,
00:30:46and I think it's time for Ukraine to get new president. Wow,
00:30:50time for Ukraine to get new president, is that crazy to say
00:30:53or is it the truth about what uh, even the people inside
00:30:57Ukraine are actually thinking?
