00:00:04of fears came to the Russians
00:00:06of really did come to India but not as colonizers

00:00:21of He of is eager to seize upon any words,
00:00:25initiatives or ideas entering
00:00:27of the public discourse, so he can push for some breathing. room: Russia's
00:00:31foreign minister dismisses
00:00:32of Vladimir Zelensky's ceasefire calls as a ploy
00:00:36to regroup Ukraines forces. That's after Kiev
00:00:40demanded the guns fall silent
00:00:42of for of 60 days to allow for
00:00:44elections. The more we help Ukraine, the
00:00:48sooner the war will be over. Brussels adopts yet another package of
00:00:52anti-Russian sanctions with the EU hoping its 22nd
00:00:56round of restrictions will do what the previous 21 have failed to do.
00:01:00Of course, that is, the
00:01:01of attempt to bring Moscow to its
00:01:03of knees. Also, in this hour's program, Europe condemns the deadly
00:01:07Hoothi attacks on Riyad's main airport,
00:01:09of blaming the group for causing a spiral of violence, although
00:01:13Brussels conveniently overlooks its own role in fueling the violence
00:01:17when it pumped Saudi Arabia full of weapons in the
00:01:21earlier phases
00:01:22of the
00:01:22conflict.
00:01:31"Monday at 11 pm here at the RTHQ with your program this hour
00:01:35touching down in Yemen, India, the UK, Brussels, Saudi
00:01:39Arabia and more. Vladimir Zelenski meantime
00:01:42says,
00:01:43of well, according to the Russian foreign minister, the leader of Ukraine will do anything
00:01:47to buy time to regroup Ukraine's forces, that is the
00:01:51view of Russia's foreign minister Sergey Lavrov, amid yet more
00:01:55talk from Keyev of a
00:01:57ceasefire. In recent
00:02:01months, the call for a
00:02:02in in ceasefire has
00:02:03of replaced the call for inflicting a strategic defeat on Russia, in the
00:02:07rhetoric of both Zelensky and his western masters. The
00:02:10goal is singular and very simple, to buy time. He is
00:02:14even said he is willing to hold a presidential election, provided he
00:02:18is given two months to regroup. During that period, Europe could
00:02:22flood him with new weaponry to continue his terrorist war against the
00:02:26Russian people, but his fained astonishment regarding President Trump's.
00:02:30reflects only one
00:02:32of thing, a that he desperately wants to use any words, any
00:02:35of initiatives and any ideas that enter the public sphere, to
00:02:39promote his interest in a breathing space, by hook or by crook.
00:02:43do not believe he has earned such
00:02:45of a respit, nor do i think we will once again fall for
00:02:48of assurances
00:02:48of or promises. the president has stated this very clearly. we
00:02:52continue to pursue the objectives
00:02:54of the special military operation. these objectives are well-known to
00:02:59of everyone. we have never
00:03:06Well the political pressure on Vladimir Zelensky is mounting
00:03:10on several fronts now, I first you know about this, the American president
00:03:14stressing
00:03:14of Ukraine is in need of new leader. In response, Zelensky
00:03:18demanded a 60-day cease fire to prepare the country to go to the
00:03:22polls, but it is not just electoral issues that have put
00:03:26Zelensky's old acting skills back on display.
00:03:30of After Washington announced a deal on Russian diesel exports, the
00:03:34decision was not well received in Kiev, particularly by Vladimir
00:03:37Zelensky. President Trump said
00:03:41that um that we need Ukraine needs new president,
00:03:44so first of all with all respect to President
00:03:48a Trump uh,
00:03:50of it's up to our society, up to our people
00:03:54to
00:03:55of choose one or another leader. Why are they blaming
00:03:58you for the continuing?
00:04:01of this war
00:04:02because these people can't find a key
00:04:06how to stop
00:04:07of Putin, because it's
00:04:10more difficult to
00:04:14of stop Putin than to pressure
00:04:17a others. well, we've been discussing this with political risk consultant and lawyer
00:04:21Adriel Casanter, and Adriel says it's very foolish
00:04:25for Zelensky to make an enemy out of Trump, well I
00:04:29completely... agree with that statement, because the recent reaction,
00:04:33the outburs of anger from the
00:04:37Ukrainian leader uh, after the
00:04:40of quite historical words coming from the uh mouth
00:04:45of of the President of the United States Donald Trump that the uh democratic election should be
00:04:49put in place in in Ukraine because
00:04:51a the current leader is not serving his nation, Mr. Zelinsky
00:04:55is putting
00:04:56of everything into one basket, he's playing a russian. rul e
00:05:00quite simply put it, because he's betting on
00:05:04democrats coming to power after the mid-terms elections
00:05:08related to
00:05:09of dispopularity
00:05:10of the Donald Trump in the United States. due to his um
00:05:14unnecessary conflict with Iran. The thinking in Brussels and both
00:05:17in in
00:05:19in in Kiev and Brussels is that once the democrats will take the
00:05:22majority in the United States, the uh the previous
00:05:26scenario, which is continuation of maximum
00:05:29pressure on Russia and supplying Ukraine with
00:05:32money and weapons will continue, so I think that
00:05:36this is the uh one way street um for for Mr. Zelinski,
00:05:40because maybe even if the... democrats will come to power,
00:05:44still the Donald Trump is a president and has a
00:05:47significant influence over the foreign policy of his
00:05:50own uh country, so I i think that making an enemies
00:05:54both with Russia and United States who is the main
00:05:58sponsor who has been the main sponsor of this unnecessary conflict
00:06:01is very dangerous game plan from Mr.
00:06:05Zelinski in his political circle and this all comes
00:06:09as the European Union has approved yet another.
00:06:12sanctions package on Russia, we're talking it's number
00:06:1522,
00:06:17and Brussels again claiming it's so important to keep the pressure on Moscow and
00:06:21provide more support to Ukraine, well at the same time it called
00:06:25out Donald Trump's new diesel deal with
00:06:28Russia. We acknowledge the
00:06:31agreement between the United States and Russia regarding the export of
00:06:35diesel. Russia will only negotiate seriously under pressure,
00:06:39which is why we are sticking to our sanctions against Russia. we help
00:06:42Ukraine, the sooner the war will be over. What we need to do is refocus
00:06:46and redouble our efforts in keeping pressure on Russia, that has
00:06:49to be our priority and that is Europe's priority. This deal
00:06:53doesn't help neither the prices the oil products,
00:06:57nor the unity within the transatlantic community, what concerns pressure on
00:07:01Russia, and it is not the European way. Our way is to
00:07:05increase pressure, because we all already seen how it works. We are not done
00:07:09here cuz for Europe, this is the vital interest to help. Ukraine
00:07:13to sustain uh this winter and continuing putting, as I already
00:07:17said, pressure, pressure, pressure on Russia. On Friday, Trump and
00:07:21Putin cut a deal with Washington lifting sanctions on Moscow's diesel
00:07:25exports. The news did see all the prices fall, although they remain above
00:07:28100 bucks a barrel. So the agreement says that Moscow will supply
00:07:32300,00 tons of diesel to American and global markets followed
00:07:36by another half million in November. Another million will come
00:07:40after that with a further 3 million late. depending on the condition of course of
00:07:44Russia's refineries, this decision has been seized upon by
00:07:48much the media, although they conveniently ignore Europe's own
00:07:51continued thirst for Russian energy, it's something that has not
00:07:55escaped the attention the American
00:07:58president. The European
00:08:02Union paid Russia $250 billion for energy,
00:08:06and the fake news media doesn't want to get near that story. I made the right
00:08:10choice for the American people always.
00:08:14first, well according to the Russian deputy prime minister, Trump's actually
00:08:17been underreporting just how much diesel is supposed to be heading
00:08:21to United States. According
00:08:25to our ministry of energy, the figure is significantly higher than even the
00:08:29250 billion denounced by our American colleagues. This amount
00:08:32totals 320, $7 billion for the period from
00:08:362022 to the present day. This represents the volume of energy
00:08:40resource supplies to European Union. regarding the year
00:08:442026. According to the ministry of energy, 21, $3 billion
00:08:47dollars worth of energy resources have already been supply to Europe in the first
00:08:51nine months alone. Despite sanctions restrictions, energy resources
00:08:55continued to be supplied to us via specific channels for which exceptions have
00:08:59been made. As reliable supplier that has always fulfilled its previously signed
00:09:03contracts, Russia continues to honor its obligations. Indeed, although the
00:09:07composition of exports to the European Union has changed significantly in recent
00:09:10years, it was not due to our. Over now to our
00:09:14correspondent Igor Zdanov explaining how the EU's
00:09:18latest sanctions package, we are talking number
00:09:2122, could actually be a sign that Brussels is
00:09:25uh, should we say running low on options to weaken Moscow and as they
00:09:28say to bring Russia to its
00:09:31knees, a 22nd package of sanctions,
00:09:34you know sanctioning all these Russian entities and uh Russian
00:09:38companies, firms, people, just individuals, and clearly this happening against the
00:09:41backdrop of... this diesel deal again, it's a message to Washington, but
00:09:45realistically though, this has been the point that Europe has been making all along, like we
00:09:49need to apply pressure on Russia to bring the war, the end
00:09:53the war closer, this is clearly not working, but you know this definition
00:09:56of insanity, one the definitions, insanity is you know
00:10:00doing the same thing over and over again and each time hoping
00:10:04for different result, well I'm sure they are already thinking what they could include into the
00:10:0823rd package, how can we make the 23rd sanctions package
00:10:11the biggest? yet, you can clearly hear the rhetoric, for instance, the what the
00:10:15Estonian Prime Minister has said, who openly, openly
00:10:19defied Washington and called upon Ukraine to keep on
00:10:23striking the Russian oil. refineries, have
00:10:25listen. Such an agreement goes
00:10:29against the long-term efforts the western world to limit the flow of energy
00:10:33revenues to Putin. The US has already convinced its allies,
00:10:37including us, to abandon Russian fuel. The long-term goal of
00:10:40depriving Russia of funds is correct, and it must be continued.
00:10:44In Estonia, and at the European Council, it is worth discussing next
00:10:48week whether we can quickly contribute more to Ukraine so that they can strike
00:10:52Russian oil refineries. It is a bit
00:10:56ironic though that they cry foul in Unisen all
00:10:59together Europe saying oh how can you give
00:11:02how can you fund
00:11:03Putin's war effort with your money with your diesel deal and
00:11:07it is ironic because this is something that Europe has been doing all
00:11:11these years literally all these years Europe has been buying gas has
00:11:15been buying Russia's Russia's metals uh pretty much just this
00:11:19year alone they purchased Europe purchased just about 10 billion
00:11:23dollars worth of goods from Russia. six billions, just over 6 billions
00:11:27accounting for with well, well with gas accounting for
00:11:306.1 billion of uh of this. now of course we
00:11:34don't know how how much Russia will get in this diesel deal with the
00:11:38United States given how many steps in it there is, but
00:11:41essentially if you look at the at the oil prices and if you take the figure
00:11:45as to how much Russia has agreed so far to to
00:11:49supply the United States with, that's in the realms of 7
00:11:53billion dollars, yeah so six. billion for gas in case of Europe,
00:11:577 billion in case of diesel in the United States. Europe has
00:12:01been doing all the same things, they have been you know also funding Putin's war
00:12:04efforts and so on, it just they've been doing it quietly. seems like the only
00:12:08threat to to this deal is Kiev, because Zelinski said that he's going to
00:12:12continue attacking Russian oil refineries, but
00:12:15why is he so keen on sabotaging
00:12:19Washington's plans? Well, it's pretty clear, you just have to look at what
00:12:23Kiev has had to say before. that they wanted this energy deal,
00:12:27but a very different, well shape and form, they wanted you know
00:12:31strikes against
00:12:32you know power stations to be included to be banned under this deal,
00:12:36strikes against port infrastructure, against rail infrastructure, they
00:12:39wanted all of that to be banned under this you know umbrella energy
00:12:43deal, well Russia has from the very good go has been saying, well
00:12:46refineries fine, let's let's hold the strikes and well it's it's
00:12:50clear why, because well Ukraine doesn't really produce anything in this
00:12:54sense, well he's been he's been making some very unhinged
00:12:58claim saying that well the United States should have come to Ukraine and
00:13:02made deal with Ukraine as if Ukraine well in his words it
00:13:05does controls the out the Russian output have
00:13:09have listen why doesn't America conclude a diesel deal with
00:13:13Ukraine let Ukraine offer a diesel deal we
00:13:17influence whether these ships go or not whether these refineries work or
00:13:20not so yes let's sign the corresponding diesel deal with the president
00:13:24the United States of America. Again, this is also quite
00:13:28ironic to come from a man whose entire budget, entire country
00:13:32lives of whatever Europe has to give to them,
00:13:35otherwise they don't even have enough to pay salaries to the most crucial part
00:13:39their society right now, and that's their servicement. It seems
00:13:43that the weight of supporting Kief's war machine
00:13:47is now uh being pressed on Brussel's shoulders,
00:13:51so what does Russia have to say about? Indeed, it has been the...
00:13:55policy the Trump administration for a while now,
00:13:58you know, let Europe pay for the war in Europe, according to Russia, well
00:14:02Europe has already shown that it is not, they can say, they can talk
00:14:05however much they want about wanting to bring this war to an end,
00:14:09but they don't, because every because we've seen everything that they have implied so
00:14:13far,
00:14:14here it has failed, but still Europe is definitely a part
00:14:18acts like a party in this war while Washington is trying to uh have
00:14:22look and try to trying to find solutions.
00:14:25europei: the Europeans clearly do not belong to the party of
00:14:28peace, the party that seeks ways toward a peaceful settlement. the Europeans
00:14:32are more like the party of war, which continues to do everything to prevent this war
00:14:36from stopping. we are far more impressed by the efforts the American
00:14:40negotiators. so right now we are a bit of crossroads here with
00:14:44one way being, well it could all with, mean all of this huffing
00:14:47and puffing, if that will just remain that
00:14:51you know all talk and uh you know europe
00:14:53and zelensky will talk uh... very tough, but won't act
00:14:57on these words, or if they will decide to directly try and
00:15:00disrupt Russia's well shipments to the United States, be it vessels or
00:15:04be it attacks against you know infrastructure inside Russia, and that would be
00:15:08interesting to see if they choose that that sort of course of events, if they
00:15:11choose the latter, then well Trump has quite a few, quite a few means to apply
00:15:15pressure and to punish uh anyone well in Ukraine for in Ukraine
00:15:19and Europe for disobedience, starting with the most obvious options like cutting
00:15:23intelligence sharing and switch.
00:15:28Despite European condemnation of a US deal with Russia, Europe
00:15:32does face its own diesel problems decades of policies
00:15:36favoring diesel have left the... EU heavily dependent on it, are the prices
00:15:40have surged across the block or Germany, crisis through the
00:15:43roof, while in Denmark, they've
00:15:46climbed even higher, and in the Netherlands,
00:15:50for example, the numbers will keep flowing for you here, a diesel prices are now
00:15:54among the highest in all the
00:15:57EU, the spike is adding to the pressure on European drivers and
00:16:01businesses already feeling the
00:16:04pain. how costs have
00:16:08increased by around 300 to 400 euros a month? if this trend
00:16:12continues throughout the year, we will end up spending additional 3,600 to
00:16:164,00
00:16:17euros a year on fuel alone. the
00:16:20government seems to be living an eledist bubble, completely
00:16:24disconnected from the lives of most portuguese people. you only have to
00:16:28go to cafe or a supermarket and talk to ordinary people to find out what
00:16:31their biggest concerns are. they're worried about the price of diesel and the cost
00:16:35of rent. Well earlier I was talking to IC Hammer,
00:16:39economist and publisher the Verd Shaft Actual Business
00:16:42Newsletter who says that her European governments have
00:16:46betrayed their own people by allowing these prices to
00:16:49skyrocket. The governments in the
00:16:53so-called west Europe, like the German government, they have to
00:16:57explain their people why they betray them, why they give
00:17:01the diesel away, whereas the diesel price is going through the roof
00:17:05within Germany, so now we read. have a the
00:17:08problem that these politicians cannot justify
00:17:12their behavior and it's getting more and more obvious for the ordinary on the
00:17:16street that they are that they are betrayed. i have
00:17:20the very bad suspicion that these European
00:17:23politicians or the European bureaucrats, i have to say,
00:17:27because the European commission are not politician, they are not elected,
00:17:31they are appointed by some backdoor or back
00:17:33chamber things and they are ext.
00:17:37nervous to lose their power because
00:17:40people are not, they don't like them anymore, they
00:17:44are against them, and they must have or it could
00:17:48be that they have betrayed the European
00:17:50people much more than anybody is still
00:17:54imagining, for example to take away some frozen
00:17:58assets, maybe from Russia, or maybe not only the interest, but
00:18:02even more, and they don't know how to how to get these these
00:18:05funds back, so they are... with the existence
00:18:09the European Union, on the same time, France is collapsing and
00:18:13needs big big time help, everything against the rules, against
00:18:17the contracts that have formed the European
00:18:20Union, and thus it is very obvious that
00:18:24they are at the end their their possibilities, and in this
00:18:28situation normally you try escape into an
00:18:31outside problem like the
00:18:34war, the... these
00:18:37claim they have successfully targeted king khalid international airport in
00:18:41the saudi capital, riad, apparently this
00:18:44evening with ballistic missile, unverified footage to show
00:18:48you apparently showing the moment an explosion struck the airport for the
00:18:52fourth time in about a week, however the Saudi led
00:18:56coalition is countering these reports claiming they successfully intercepted
00:19:00and shot down the incoming hoothi
00:19:03missiles. let's bring up some a shocking footage for you here from the
00:19:06read. national airport which was attacked on Saturday, claiming the lives
00:19:10of 13 people with more than
00:19:14300
00:19:15wounded. well, Europe has certainly been
00:19:19among the voices condemning the latest attacks on Riyadh's international
00:19:23airport. The
00:19:26deadliest Houti attack so far on Riyad's airport marks a
00:19:30dangerous escalation. These attacks by Iran's proxies are
00:19:34pushing the region into a spiral of violence. Well, despite
00:19:38those words a Riad is said to have been deeply disappointed by
00:19:41the uh scale of support from his western allies, this being reported by
00:19:45Bloomberg citing its own sources, nonetheless,
00:19:49against this backdrop, the Saudies have been pressing European capitals for
00:19:53concrete military assistance, namely requesting aid from
00:19:57London, Paris and Berlin. So Britain has sent air
00:20:00defenses along with air to air refueling support for Saudi fighter
00:20:04jets, France right here pledging troops. radars,
00:20:08defense systems to help to protect the energy infrastructure. now
00:20:12Riad has officially requested help from Germany and it remains
00:20:16unclear whether Berlin has or even will provide
00:20:20any assistance. Well, while help from Europe is
00:20:24clearly on the table, the scale of support, very
00:20:27different, how it 15, because looking back as the Saudis began their
00:20:31milita back campaign in Yemen to take on the hooth these billions
00:20:35of euros worth of arms export licenses. made with countries across
00:20:38Europe, France topping the list, I mean 17
00:20:41billion in weapons deals for Saudi
00:20:45Arabia, the UK pocketing just over four billion selling
00:20:48deadly weapons and Germany caaching in in one way or
00:20:52another,
00:20:53and on the latest edition the Sanchez Effect here on RT, a former British diplomat
00:20:57Craig Marey questions why European leaders condemn the hoothis as
00:21:01barbarians while turning a blind eye to Saudi Arabia's own
00:21:05records of attacks on civilians all across
00:21:08Yemen. You know, most the European
00:21:12countries, including the Brits, are condemning the
00:21:14huties uh for the attacks on the Saudi
00:21:18airport etc. they've released statement, they've they've called the
00:21:22actions the huties uh barbaric, and I'm thinking just like
00:21:26the ma, the same thing they called the ma, the same thing they called a lot the
00:21:30liberation groups in Africa when they went there and stole their land and raped
00:21:34them and killed them and chopped up their arms and everything, they said they were the
00:21:38barbaric ones, what are you talking about, right? so I'm I'm
00:21:41looking here to your point uh, Mr. Bassador, so
00:21:45the Brits and the Europeans are complaining about the Hutis, I i think the
00:21:49hoothis. are kind of an honorable bunch, even though they do fight wars
00:21:53and sandals, which I don't understand, so we did a little research
00:21:57here, do
00:21:57you know how much money uh the uh
00:22:01Europeans have made so far in armed sales to the
00:22:04Saudis, which again goes to your point about why they do these crazy
00:22:08things, right? I'm going to read it to you, right?
00:22:1217 billion France, UK made
00:22:167 billion dollars in arms sales to the uh
00:22:20Saudis, right, Germany, two billion, Spain,
00:22:24two billion, so to your point, of course they're
00:22:28calling the savages, they're they're bought and
00:22:31sold by the other side, I think
00:22:35that's that's true, and and the extraordinary thing is that with this
00:22:39incredible imbalance of weapons, because the, I
00:22:43think though, those can't be all time totals, because they've been individual
00:22:47deals that have been bigger than the... you gave for the UK for
00:22:51example, this must be a recent
00:22:53period, well this was during this was
00:22:57during, this was during the specific, sorry, i should have, i should have clarified that,
00:23:01thank you though
00:23:02for for for correcting me, this was only during the first
00:23:06Saudi Yemen war that these numbers, they've gone probably above
00:23:10that since then, yes, yeah,
00:23:12and passed that, and the amount, the total amount of
00:23:16weapons that the theala people have...
00:23:20possessed, it's probably 5% of
00:23:23that. um, the uh, and yet the
00:23:27Saudis with all of that firepower, all of that modern
00:23:30equipment are unable to defeat them and in fact continually
00:23:34lose, the war has been over 20 year
00:23:37period, a continual
00:23:40process for Saudis losing ground, because they
00:23:44may have all the weaponry and all the money, but they have no belief
00:23:48in the in their own cause and i was doing a
00:23:52little research yesterday, i was trying to tot up in the last 12
00:23:56years since uh anstal have
00:23:58controlled the airports in
00:24:01sona um i found
00:24:0427 different times the saudis have bombed
00:24:08sanar airport and not on one of those 27
00:24:12times did the European Union condemn this
00:24:15the Saudis for bombing sanner airport which is a civilian airport.
00:24:28Meanwhile, in Yemen, Houti forces are moving to secure key
00:24:32areas in the Marib and Tains provinces, as the group seeks to expand
00:24:36its control over its own country. The Houthies have released
00:24:39footage their offensive against the Saudi backed forces in those
00:24:43Yemani districts, which are the last government controlled strongholds on the road to the
00:24:47strategic port city of Aiden. At the video. be independently
00:24:51verified, but the hootis have already claim to have seized the port of mocka and
00:24:54perim island, two key areas which tighten their grip on the critical
00:24:58bab al mandab straight. now amid all the concerns right now
00:25:02about the conflict escalating, the hooties have issued a warning to Washington
00:25:05tonight to prepare for the worst if
00:25:09it gets involved. So what could American intervention mean
00:25:13for regional security in vital shipping roots? Well, those questions are
00:25:17pondered over on our website right now. That's our.
00:25:24To the subcontinent now, because India has beefed up security in its capital as
00:25:28mass protests raged for a third consecutive day.
00:25:32Now, initially the demonstrations were led by a youth activist movement called the
00:25:35cockroaches. However, now different opposition forces have
00:25:39joined the protests, so the all accusing the ruling government of attempting
00:25:43electoral fraud, it's something firmly denied by the
00:25:47authorities, so over now to RT India. Vinayk
00:25:50digs it explaining what's caused this prolonged
00:25:53unrest,
00:25:55now if we talk about the protests that are happening here in India then at the
00:25:59heart the matter lies an allegation by India's opposition
00:26:03parties that the election commission's process of revising pole
00:26:06roles is solely to benefit the Narendra Modi eled
00:26:10Bharatiya Party the BJP for winning elections
00:26:14after elections in state after state now uh
00:26:18the Indian election commission's special intensive revision
00:26:21process was started in the world's largest democracy
00:26:25last year and it started with the northern state of bihar now the
00:26:29intention the process was to remove the names of
00:26:32voters that have moved away, voters that have registered in more than one
00:26:36constituencies, voters that have passed away or voters that are due
00:26:40to any reason whatsoever, unregistered voters, so a
00:26:44thorough cleaning the election polol roles or the list
00:26:47of voters, about 130 million names have been flagged or
00:26:51removed so far, if you think that is a large number, then
00:26:55think about the total population of India which happens to be
00:26:591.4 billion people, now the final decision on
00:27:02removing any these names are yet to
00:27:06be taken, however India's opposition parties alleged
00:27:10that in the process the special intensive revision, many
00:27:14legitimate voters name were also struck off from the list
00:27:18in order to benefit the bharatiya janata party or the
00:27:22BJP, they claim that these removals now mean that
00:27:25India's electoral process is no longer level playing
00:27:29field, the opposition parties also say that this process has already
00:27:33skewed elections that took place in the month of April where
00:27:37the BJP one three out of five states. Congress
00:27:41leader and leader of opposition Rahul Gandi has gone so far as
00:27:44to call this vote theft and says and argues that any
00:27:48laws passed by the elected government through the
00:27:52stolen votes remain to be illegitimate because the process in
00:27:56itself was illegitimate. The Bharattiya Party, the
00:27:59BJP as well as the election commission. have denied any
00:28:03wrong doings as far as the process the SIRR are
00:28:07concerned. the BJP maintains that the uh that the process was
00:28:10aimed to remove illegitimate voters from electoral poll roles. home
00:28:14minister Amit Shah also went on to say that it was to prevent
00:28:18infiltrators which happens to be euporamism that is
00:28:22used for illegal immigrants mainly from neighboring
00:28:25Bangladesh from voting in India's elections. the election
00:28:29panel contents that any wrongly excluded voters
00:28:33can request revision in their names and their names can be
00:28:37included back in the list again. this long simmering
00:28:41controversy around the special intensive revision became even more
00:28:44rampant after an Indian print daily the Indian
00:28:48express released a report which said that in the three
00:28:52member election commission where there is a chief election commissioner and two
00:28:55other election commissioners. there were significant difference
00:28:59between the election chief election commissioner and the other to election
00:29:03commissioners as far as voter matters like voter
00:29:06registrations and deletions are concerned, the election
00:29:10commission on this acknowledged the objections but said that
00:29:14the final decision that was taken by the body was completely
00:29:17unanimous. all right, so there are some of your top stories for now here on RT
00:29:21international, and as we are now working our way towards midnight here in Moscow,
00:29:25the next program kicks off very
00:29:27soon.
00:30:00Today leaders from that grouping. which has armed genocide in

00:30:07Speakers will avowedly call for the destruction the Russian Federation,
00:30:11not just Ukrainian dictator Zelensky who has been given long range missiles
00:30:15by Britain, and Intel from the CIA to kill civilians in
00:30:19Russia. It's also four years today that 143
00:30:23out of 193
00:30:24general assembly member states voted to condemn Russia for referendums in
00:30:28the Donbas, Carson and Zaparia. Democracy in the economies of western.
00:30:32European states that did so are now in chaos as uprisings rage in
00:30:36Spain and France. Joining me again is someone who was recently at
00:30:39the latest UN General Assembly in New York. He has tirelessly
00:30:43fought for the war in Europe to end. Before the 24th of
00:30:47February 2022, he advised US officials to publicly
00:30:51admit Ukraine would not be permitted NATO membership. Professor Jeffrey Sax is
