00:00:00are loud, the debates are fierce, now it's time for
00:00:04a closer look, know the policy, understand the impact,
00:00:07america first, we're
00:00:09scotty,
00:00:22he is eager to seize upon any words, initiatives or ideas
00:00:26entering the public discourse, so he can push for some breathing.
00:00:30"Russia's foreign minister dismisses Vladimir
00:00:34calls Zelensky's as
00:00:34ceasefire a ploy to regroup Ukraine's forces. That's
00:00:38after Keyev demanded the guns fall silent for 60
00:00:42days to allow
00:00:43of for elections. The more we help
00:00:46in ukraine, the sooner the war will be over. And Brussels adopts yet another package
00:00:50of anti-Russia sanctions with the EU hoping its 22nd
00:00:53round of restrictions will do what the previous 21 have failed
00:00:57to, and that's to bring Moscow to..."
00:01:03condemns the deadly Houti attacks on Riyadh's main airport, blaming the
00:01:07group for causing a spiral of violence, although Brussels
00:01:10conveniently overlooks its own role in fueling the
00:01:13of violence of when it pumped Saudi Arabia full of weapons in the earlier
00:01:17phases
00:01:18of the
00:01:18conflict.
00:01:25of is midnight here in Moscow with your top stories
00:01:29raring to go.
00:01:33will do anything to buy time to regroup Ukraine's forces. That
00:01:36is the view of Russia's foreign
00:01:39in minister, emit yet more talk from Kiev of a
00:01:42ceasefire. In recent
00:01:45months, the call for a cease fire
00:01:47of has replaced the call for inflicting a strategic defeat on Russia. In the
00:01:51rhetoric of both Zelensky and his Western Masters. The
00:01:55goal is
00:01:56of singular and very simple, to buy time. He has even said, He
00:02:00is willing to hold a presidential election, provided he is given two
00:02:04months to regroup. During that period, Europe could flood him with new
00:02:08weaponry to continue his terrorist war against the Russian people, but his
00:02:12fained astonishment regarding President Trump's statement reflects only
00:02:15one thing: that he desperately wants to
00:02:18of use any words, any initiatives and any ideas that
00:02:22enter the public sphere to promote his interest in a breathing
00:02:26of space, by hook or by Crook. I do not believe he has earned such
00:02:29a rest.
00:02:36of We continue to pursue the objectives
00:02:39of the special military operation. These objectives are well-known
00:02:43to everyone. We have never altered them, unlike the zigzags
00:02:46and evasions of Zelensky and his European
00:02:49of masters. The
00:02:54in of political pressure on Zelensky is mounting a number of fronts, actually. First, as you know, the American president suddenly stress the other day
00:02:58that Ukraine needs a new... leader: in response, Zelensky demanded
00:03:02a 60-day 60-day cease fire to prepare the country to go to the
00:03:06polls.
00:03:07of However, it's not just electoral issues that have put Zelensky's old
00:03:11acting skills back on display, because after
00:03:15Washington announced a deal on Russian diesel exports
00:03:18a that the decision was not well received in Kiev, particularly by
00:03:22Vladimir Zelensky. President Trump said
00:03:25that um that we need Ukraine needs new
00:03:29a president, so first of all with all respect to president
00:03:31Trump, it's up
00:03:35to our society, up to our people to
00:03:38choose one or another leader. why
00:03:42are they blaming you for the continuation of this war?
00:03:45because these people can't find
00:03:49a key how
00:03:51of to stop Putin,
00:03:54a because it's more
00:03:57difficult to stop Putin. than to pressure
00:04:00others, well, according to political risk consultant
00:04:04and lawyer Adrial Cassonta, he says it's rather foolish
00:04:08if not dangerous for Zelensky to make an enemy out of Donald
00:04:12Trump. Well, I completely agree with that statement,
00:04:16because the
00:04:17of recent reaction,
00:04:18of the outburs of anger from the
00:04:22Ukrainian
00:04:22of leader after the quite historical words
00:04:26coming from the
00:04:28a mouth
00:04:28of the president
00:04:29of the... says Donald Trump that uh the uh
00:04:32of democratic election should be put in place
00:04:35in in Ukraine because the current leader is not serving his
00:04:39nation, Mr. Zelinski is
00:04:41of putting everything into one basket, he's playing a Russian rule,
00:04:45quite simply put
00:04:46a it, because he's betting on democrats coming to
00:04:50power after the mid-terms elections uh related to
00:04:55of dispopularity
00:04:55of the Donald Trump in the United States due to his um
00:04:59unnecessary. with Iran, the thinking in Brussels and both
00:05:02in in in in Kiev and Brussels is that once the democrats
00:05:06will take the majority in the United States, the the
00:05:10previous scenario, which is... "continuation of maximum
00:05:14pressure on Russia and supplying Ukraine with
00:05:17money and weapons will continue, so uh, I think that
00:05:21this is the - one way street um for for Mr. Zelinski,
00:05:25because maybe even if the democrats will come to power,
00:05:29still the Donald Trump is a president and has a
00:05:31significant influence over the foreign policy of his
00:05:35own uh country, so I i think that making an enemies
00:05:39both with Russia and United States who is..." main
00:05:42sponsor who has been the main sponsor of this unnecessary conflict uh
00:05:46is very dangerous uh a game plan from Mr. Zelinski in
00:05:50his political circle. This comes as the
00:05:54European Union has approved yet another sanctions package
00:05:58on the Russia. We're talking number 22. Brussels once again
00:06:01claiming it's so important to keep the pressure on Moscow and keep the support
00:06:05to Ukraine. At the same time, however, it called out Trump's new
00:06:09diesel deal with Russia.
00:06:14which
00:06:22under is pressure, why we are sticking to our sanctions against Russia, the more we help
00:06:25Ukraine, the sooner the war will be over. what we need
00:06:28to do is refocus and redouble our efforts in keeping pressure on Russia, that has
00:06:32to be our priority and that is Europe's priority. this deal
00:06:36doesn't help neither the prices the oil products,
00:06:40nor the unity within the transatlantic. community what concerns pressure on
00:06:44Russia, and it is not the European way, our way is to
00:06:48increase pressure because we already seen how it works, we are not done
00:06:51here cuuse for Europe this is the vital interest to help Ukraine to
00:06:55sustain uh this winter and continuing putting as I already
00:06:59said pressure, pressure, pressure on Russia. On Friday, Trump and
00:07:03Putin cut a deal with Washington lifting sanctions on Moscow's diesel
00:07:07exports. The news so oil prices fall, although they
00:07:11remained above 100 bucks. the barrel, the agreement says Moscow
00:07:15will supply 300 thousand tons of diesel to American and
00:07:18global markets followed by another half million in November, another
00:07:221 million coming after that with a further 3 million later depending on the
00:07:26condition of Russia's refineries. The decision has been seized upon by
00:07:30much the media, although they conveniently ignore Europe's own
00:07:34continued thirst for Russian fuel, something that has not
00:07:37escaped the attention the American
00:07:39president. "the European Union
00:07:43paid Russia $250 billion for energy, and the
00:07:47fake news media doesn't want to get near that story. I made the right
00:07:51choice for the American people, always America first.
00:07:55Well, according to the Russian deputy prime minister, Trump's
00:07:59actually underreporting just how much diesel is actually due to be
00:08:02heading state side. According
00:08:06to our ministry of energy, the figure is significantly higher than even the
00:08:10250 billion denounced by our..." colleagues, this amount
00:08:14totals $320, $7 billion for the period from
00:08:172022 to the present day. this represents the volume of energy
00:08:21resource supplies to European Union countries regarding the year
00:08:252026. according to the ministry of energy, 21, 3 billion
00:08:29dollars worth of energy resources have already been supplied to Europe in the first
00:08:32nine months alone. despite sanctions restrictions, energy resources
00:08:36continue to be supplied to us via specific channels for which exceptions have
00:08:40been made. as reliable sup that has always fulfilled its previously signed
00:08:44contracts, Russia continues to honor its obligations. Indeed, although the
00:08:48composition of exports to the European Union has changed significantly in recent
00:08:52years, it was not due to our fault. well, our
00:08:55correspondingdanov now explains how the EU's latest
00:08:59sanctions package number 22 in all, is
00:09:02actually more likely a sign that Brussels is running desperately
00:09:06low on options to weaken Moscow. the
00:09:0922nd package of sanctions, you sanctioning or... these russian entities
00:09:13and uh Russian companies, firms, people, just individuals, and
00:09:17clearly this happening against the backdrop of this diesel deal, again it's a message to
00:09:21Washington, but realistically though, this has been the point that Europe has been
00:09:25making all along, like we need to apply pressure on Russia to bring
00:09:29the war, the end the war closer, this is clearly not working, but
00:09:32you know this definition of insanity, one the definitions, insanity
00:09:36is you know doing the same thing over and over again and each
00:09:40time hoping for different result, well I'm sure they are already thinking what they could
00:09:44include into the 23rd package, how can we make the 23rd
00:09:47sanctions package the biggest yet? you can clearly hear the rhetoric, for
00:09:51instance,
00:09:52the what the Estonian prime minister has said, who openly, openly
00:09:56defied Washington and called upon Ukraine to keep on
00:10:00striking the Russian oil
00:10:06goes against the long-term efforts the western world to limit the flow of
00:10:09energy revenues to Putin, the U.S. is...
00:10:25next week whether we can quickly contribute more to Ukraine so that they can strike
00:10:29Russian oil refineries. It is a bit
00:10:33ironic though that they cry foul in unison all
00:10:36together Europe saying oh how can you give
00:10:39how can you fund fund Putin's war effort with your money
00:10:43with your diesel deal and it is ironic because
00:10:46this is something that Europe has been doing all these years literally all
00:10:50these years Europe has been buying gas has been buying Russia's Russia's
00:10:54metals. pretty much just this year alone they purchased
00:10:57Europe purchased just about 10 billion dollars worth of goods from
00:11:01Russia, 6 billions just over six billions accounting for with
00:11:05well well with gas accounting for 6.1 billion
00:11:09of of this now of course we don't know how how much Russia
00:11:12will get in this diesel deal with the United States given how many steps
00:11:16in it there is, but essentially if you look at the at the
00:11:20oil prices and if you take the figure as to how much Russia has agreed so
00:11:24far to to supply the United States with, that's in
00:11:28the realms of 7 billion dollars, yeah, so 6 billion for gas
00:11:32in case of Europe, 7 billion, in case of diesel in the
00:11:36United States, Europe has been doing all the same things, they have been you know
00:11:40also funding Putin's war efforts and so on, it just they've been doing it
00:11:43quietly, seems like the only threat to to this deal is Kiev, because
00:11:47Zelinski said that he's going to continue attacking Russian oil
00:11:51refineries, but why is he so keen on?
00:11:55on sabotaging Washington's uh plans. Well, it's
00:11:58pretty clear, you just have to look at what Kiev has had to say before that. They wanted
00:12:02this energy deal, but a very different, well shape and form. They
00:12:06wanted strikes against you know power stations to be
00:12:10included to be banned under this deal, strikes against port infrastructure,
00:12:14against rail infrastructure. They wanted all of that to be banned under
00:12:18this, umbrella energy deal. Well, Russia has from the very
00:12:22gadgo has been saying, well refineries fine. Let's let's hold the strikes
00:12:26and well it's it's clear why, because well Ukraine doesn't really produce
00:12:30anything in this sense. Zelenski, well he's been uh, he's been
00:12:34making some very unhinged claim saying that well, the United States should have come
00:12:38to Ukraine and made deal with Ukraine as if Ukraine,
00:12:41well in his words it does, controls the out the Russian
00:12:45output,
00:12:49conclude a diesel deal with Ukraine? Let Ukraine offer a diesel
00:12:53deal, we influence whether these. go or not, whether these
00:12:56refineries work or not, so yes, let's sign the corresponding diesel
00:13:00deal with the president the United States of America. Again, this is
00:13:04also quite ironic to come from a man whose entire budget,
00:13:08entire country lives of whatever Europe has to give
00:13:12to them, otherwise they don't even have enough to pay salaries to the most
00:13:16crucial part their society right now, and that's their servicement, it
00:13:19seems that the weight of supporting
00:13:23Kiev's war machine is now... uh being pressed on uh
00:13:27Brussel's shoulders, so what does Russia have to say about? Indeed,
00:13:31it has been the policy the Trump administration for a while now,
00:13:35you know, let Europe pay for the war in Europe. According to Russia, well,
00:13:39Europe has already shown that it is not, they can say, they can
00:13:42talk however much they want about wanting to bring this war to an
00:13:46end, but they don't, because every, because we've seen everything that they have
00:13:49implied so far, here it has failed, but still, Europe
00:13:53is definitely a party acts like a party in this war while Washington is
00:13:57trying to uh have look and try to trying to find
00:14:01solutions. Europey, the Europeans clearly do not belong
00:14:05to the
00:14:05party of peace, the party that seeks ways toward a peaceful settlement. The Europeans are
00:14:09more like the party of war, which continues to do everything to prevent this war from
00:14:13stopping. We are far more impressed by the efforts the American
00:14:16negotiators. So right now we are a bit of crossroads here with
00:14:20one way being, well it could all with, I mean all of this huffing and...
00:14:25puffing if that will just remain that
00:14:28you know all talk and uh Europe and Zelensky will talk
00:14:31uh very tough but won't act on these words or if they will
00:14:35decide to directly try and disrupt Russia's well shipments to the
00:14:39United States beat vessels or be it attacks against you know infrastructure inside
00:14:43Russia and that would be interesting to see if they choose that that
00:14:47sort of course of events if they choose the latter then well Trump has quite a few quite
00:14:51a few means to apply pressure and to punish uh anyone. in
00:14:55Ukraine for in Ukraine and Europe for disobedience, starting with the
00:14:59most obvious options like cutting intelligence sharing and switching off the
00:15:02starlink, you know dishes. Well let's take this conversation
00:15:06further here on the program, crossing a live right now, there she is, political psychologist,
00:15:10former Donald treay Trump AID there, Dr. Jan Harper
00:15:14Hays live and worldwide joining us from Antalia
00:15:23Friday's Trump Putin deal highlight. the importance of Russian diesel to
00:15:26Washington and the global markets as well, but Zelensky
00:15:30perhaps a bit reluctant to honor this diesel deal, is there
00:15:34any chance, doctor that Kiev is going to... risk
00:15:38jeopadizing its friendship with a Trump white house over
00:15:41this. Oh, they have continually
00:15:45risked their relationship.
00:15:47I mean, from the moment that Zelinsky came and sat in the White House with
00:15:50Trump and his whole attitude. You know, on one
00:15:54hand, I respect Zelinski for
00:15:58defending his country, but on the other hand, there is
00:16:01been nothing conciliatory throughout all
00:16:05of this from. position
00:16:09and he doesn't seem ever try to
00:16:12read Trump, but instead does
00:16:16things as he wants to really just keep this war
00:16:19going on, he will sabotage any peace
00:16:23any way. Trump
00:16:27has now asked Zelensky not for the first time to stop attacks
00:16:31on Russian energy infrastructure. In fact, if I'm not
00:16:34mistaken, this is actually the... fixth
00:16:38time that Washington has asked Kiyev not to attack
00:16:42Russian energy infrastructure, do you think Zelensky will honor
00:16:46the request this time? uh,
00:16:49no, because I think he's taken a position
00:16:53that he is emphasizing Ukraine's power
00:16:56grid, and he will find any which way to
00:17:00criticize Russia to sabotage
00:17:04any efforts from Russia, and... without
00:17:08any understanding of
00:17:11how that is turning Trump against
00:17:14him. There's not an appreciation for the
00:17:18kind of support that the US has given, and part of
00:17:22that comes because Europe is for
00:17:25Ukraine and against Russia, so he thinks that he's
00:17:29got the power, but I don't
00:17:33think he does. Doctor, it does appear
00:17:36that... sometimes tries to undermine Trump, is
00:17:40that because of his unwavering support in the EU or is there something
00:17:44else
00:17:51um, I, I think the bottom line,
00:17:54if we look at his motivation, he absolutely
00:17:58loves the position that he's in right now, and he wants to
00:18:02keep that war going, and the kind of money
00:18:06that comes... from the US and from
00:18:10Europe
00:18:28um, I, I, I think that Zelinsky is taking
00:18:32a position with blinders
00:18:36on that, that it's only Ukraine, he will
00:18:39do whatever he has to do for Ukraine, but has
00:18:43not made any overtures, any
00:18:47conciliation even try and find a
00:18:51way to have agreement, even in the short term, even in
00:18:55this right now, he's not demonstrating
00:18:59any understanding of what Trump has
00:19:02requested for the moment, for a
00:19:06short period of time, "and he's not willing to give into him for
00:19:09that. Yeah, Dr. Jan Halpace is a political psychologist, a
00:19:13former AID to Donald Trump joining us live and
00:19:26claim they have successfully targeted King Khalid International Airport
00:19:29in Riyadh this evening with ballistic missile.
00:19:33Unverified footage appearing to show the moment of an explosion striking the airport. for
00:19:37the fourth time in about a week, however the sound coalition is
00:19:41countering these reports claiming they successfully intercepted and shot down the
00:19:45incoming missiles. this comes after three other
00:19:49hoouti attacks on the riad international airport. we'll bring up some
00:19:53disturbing footage from Saturday the deadly attack from the
00:19:57Riad airport that claim the lives of 13 people, wounded more than
00:20:01300. the hoothi group said it carried out the attacks in
00:20:04retaliation for Saudi aggression and it's targeting. of civilian
00:20:08infrastructure all across
00:20:10Yemen, well Europe has certainly been among the voices
00:20:14condemming the attacks on Riyad's international
00:20:16airport. The
00:20:20deadliest Houti attack so far on Riyad's airport marks a
00:20:23dangerous escalation. These attacks by Iran's proxies are
00:20:27pushing the region into a spiral of
00:20:29violence. Well, despite those words,
00:20:33Riad is said to have been deeply disappointed by the scale of support from his west.
00:20:37and allies that this is being reported by Bloomberg citing its own
00:20:41sources, nevertheless against this backdrop, the Saudis have been pressing
00:20:44European capitals for concrete military
00:20:47assistance, namely request aid from London,
00:20:51Paris and Berlin. Britain has sent air defenses along with
00:20:55air to air refueling support for Saudi fighter jets. France
00:20:59has pledged troops, radars and defense systems to help protect
00:21:02energy infrastructure, and while Riad has officially
00:21:06requested help from Germany, it remains unclear whether Berlin has or even
00:21:10will provide any further assistance,
00:21:13and while help from Europe is clearly on the table right now, the scale of
00:21:17support is very different compared to what happened in 20.
00:21:212015, looking back as the Saudis began their militia back campaign
00:21:25into Yemen to take on the hoothi's billions of euros worth of
00:21:29arms, export licenses were made from European countries, France
00:21:32topping the list, 17 billion in deals for
00:21:36its military industrial complex, the UK pocketed about four and a
00:21:40half billion while Berlin is cashing in in one way or another,
00:21:44and on the latest episode the Sanchez effect, it's former British diplomatic
00:21:48Craig Murray, why European leaders
00:21:52condemn the hoothies as barbarians while turning a blind eye to
00:21:56Saudi Arabia's own record of attacks on civilians
00:22:00across Yemen. Most the
00:22:03European countries, including the brids, are condemning the
00:22:07hoothies for the attacks on the Saudi
00:22:10Airport etc. They've released statement, they've they've called the
00:22:14actions the huties barbaric, and I'm thinking just like
00:22:18the
00:22:19ma, the same thing they called. the ma the same thing they called a lot the liberation groups
00:22:23in Africa when they went there and stole their land and raped them and killed
00:22:26them and chopped up their arms and everything they said they were the barbaric
00:22:30ones what are you talking
00:22:37so the Brits and the Europeans are complaining about the Hutis I I think
00:22:41the hoothis are kind of an honorable bunch even though they do fight
00:22:45wars and sandals which I don't understand so we did a little research
00:22:49here.
00:22:50do you know how much money uh the uh Europeans have
00:22:54made so far in arms sales to the Saudis, which again
00:22:58goes to your
00:23:0417 billion, France, UK made
00:23:087 billion dollars in arms sales to the
00:23:12uh saudis, right? Germany 2 billion, Spain
00:23:162 billion, so to your point,
00:23:19of course...
00:23:19they're calling the savages, they're they're
00:23:23bought and sold by the other side.
00:23:27i think that's that's true, and and the extraordinary thing is that
00:23:31with this incredible imbalance of weapons, because
00:23:35the i think,
00:23:36but those can't be
00:23:37all time totals, because they've been individual deals that have been bigger
00:23:40than the total you gave for the UK, for example, this must be
00:23:44a recent period, well this
00:23:48was during was during the...
00:23:56was only during the first Saudi Yemen war that these
00:24:00numbers, they've gone probably above that since then,
00:24:03yes, yeah, they've gone way past
00:24:06that, and the amount, the total amount of weapons that
00:24:10the the Ansala people have ever possessed, it's
00:24:13probably 5% of that, um,
00:24:17the uh, and yet the Saudis. of all of that
00:24:21firepower, all of that modern equipment are unable to defeat them and in
00:24:25fact continually lose, the the war has been over
00:24:2920 year period, a
00:24:32continual process for Saudis losing ground,
00:24:36because they may have all the weaponry and all the money, but they have
00:24:39no belief in the in their own cause,
00:24:43and i was doing a little research yesterday, i was trying to
00:24:46tot up in the last 12 years since ' andala
00:24:50have controlled the airports in
00:24:54Sona, um, I, I found
00:24:5727 different times the Saudis have bombed
00:25:00Sanar airport, and not on one of those 27
00:25:04times did the European Union condemn this the
00:25:08Saudis for bombing sanner airport, which is a civilian
00:25:11airport.
00:25:20Meanwhile, in Yemen, Huti forces are moving to secure key areas in the
00:25:24Marib and Tais provinces, as the group seeks to expand,
00:25:27control
00:25:28over its country. The Houties have released footage their offensive
00:25:32against Saudi-backed forces in those districts, which are the last government control
00:25:36strongholds on the road to the strategic for city of Aiden. This video
00:25:40cannot be independently verified. The hutis have already claimed to
00:25:44have seized the port of Mocca and Petim Island, two key areas which
00:25:48tightened their grip on the critical Baba. mandeb straight
00:25:52and amid all the concerns right now about the conflict escalating, the hoothies have issued a
00:25:55warning to Washington tonight to prepare for the worst
00:25:59if it gets involved, so what could... American intervention
00:26:03mean for regional security and vital shipping roots? Those questions are
00:26:07discussed with expert analysis on our
00:26:09website. For
00:26:13now, India has beefed up security in the capital as mass protests have been
00:26:17raging for a third consecutive day. Now initially the demonstrations were
00:26:21led by a youth activist movement called the cockroaches. However,
00:26:25now different opposition forces have joined the protests accusing the ruling
00:26:29government of attempting electoral fraud. Something. firmly
00:26:33denied by the authorities, so over now to RT India correspondent
00:26:36Venayak dicks it explaining what's behind this prolonged
00:26:40unrest. now if we talk about the protests that are happening
00:26:44here in India then at the heart the matter lies an
00:26:47allegation by India's opposition parties that the election
00:26:50commission's process of revising pole roles is
00:26:54soly to benefit the Narendra Modi led Bharatiya Janata
00:26:57Party, the BJP for winning elections after
00:27:01elections in state. after state now uh the Indian
00:27:05election commission's special intensive revision process
00:27:09was started in the world's largest democracy last year and it
00:27:12started with the northern state of Bihar. Now the intention the
00:27:16process was to remove the names of voters that have moved
00:27:20away, voters that have registered in more than one constituencies,
00:27:23voters that have passed away or voters that are due to any reason
00:27:27whatsoever unregistered voters. So a thorough cleaning
00:27:31the election. pole roles or the list of voters,
00:27:35about 130 million names have been flagged or removed
00:27:39so far, if you think that is a large number, then think about the total
00:27:43population of India which happens to be 1.4 billion
00:27:47people. now the final decision on removing any
00:27:50these names are yet to be taken,
00:27:54however India's opposition parties alleged that in the
00:27:57process the special intensive revision many legitimate
00:28:01voters name were also struck off from the list in order to
00:28:05benefit the bharatiya janata party or the BJP, they
00:28:09claim that these removals now mean that India's electoral
00:28:13process is no longer level playing field. the opposition
00:28:16parties also say that this process has already skewed
00:28:20elections that took place in the month of April where the
00:28:23BJP one three out of five states. Congress leader
00:28:27and leader of opposition Rahul Gandi has gone so far as to call
00:28:31this vote. left and says and argues that any laws passed
00:28:35by the elected government through the stolen votes
00:28:39remain to be illegitimate because the process in itself was
00:28:43illegitivate the bharatiya janta party the BJP as well
00:28:47as the election commission have denied any wrong doings as
00:28:51far as the process the SIRR are concerned the BJP
00:28:54maintains that the uh that the process was aimed to remove
00:28:58illegitimate voters from electoral poll roles home minister Amit Shah or
00:29:02also went to say that it was to prevent infiltrators, which
00:29:06happens to be euphemism that is used for illegal immigrants
00:29:10mainly from neighboring Bangladesh from voting in
00:29:14India's elections. the election panel content that
00:29:17any wrongly excluded voters can request revision
00:29:21in their names and their names can be included back in the list
00:29:25again. this long simmering controversy around the special
00:29:28intensive revision became even more rampant after and
00:29:32Indian Print Daily the Indian Express released a report which
00:29:36said that in the three Member Election Commission where there is a chief
00:29:40election commissioner and two other election commissioners there was
00:29:44significant difference between the election chief election commissioner and the
00:29:48other to election commissioners as far as
00:29:51voter matters like voter registrations and deletions
00:29:55are concerned
00:29:56the election commission on this acknowledged the objections but
00:29:59said that the final decision that was taken by the body was
00:30:03completely unanimous.
