00:16:07love, and great emotional details.
00:16:11We follow
00:16:13and continue with you on Pulse
00:16:18of the Nation. From here, from the unified shelter center in the city
00:16:22of Al-Ubayyid, where the city embraced the tears
00:16:26and sorrows of the displaced for months, today begins
00:16:29the first steps of the voluntary and dignified return.
00:16:32The Humanitarian Aid Commission in North Kordofan State,
00:16:35in partnership with the Zakat Chamber and the Social Development Sector,
00:16:39launched the voluntary return
00:16:43program, announcing the return of the people of Um Dam
00:16:46Hajj Ahmed area to their homes after it was
00:16:49cleared of the defilement of the terrorist militia, and security
00:16:53was established thanks to the Armed Forces. Mohamed
00:16:56Hamed Al-Toumi, Director of Shelter Centers at the Humanitarian Aid Commission, said, "We
00:17:00are truly happy today to bid farewell to one of the
00:17:03convoys for voluntary return to the localities of North Kordofan.
00:17:07This truly comes within the framework
00:17:11of the policies of the government of North Kordofan State to move
00:17:14towards the voluntary return of all cities and villages that have become
00:17:18safe. We are truly grateful to the government of Kordofan for its great efforts
00:17:22regarding the issues of the displaced, and also grateful to the Armed
00:17:25Forces for their victories. We congratulate the Sudanese people and ourselves
00:17:29on the recent victories in the localities of West Bara and Sudiri
00:17:32locality, and a large part of
00:17:35the various states of North Kordofan.
00:17:38In fact, we at the unified shelter center have received more than
00:17:419,200 families
00:17:44during the displacement by the rebel militia
00:17:47for the arrivals. We are now, thank God, starting the recovery phase within
00:17:51the framework of voluntary return, and this is the fourth voluntary return
00:17:54to the states of Sudan and its various cities.
00:17:57It
00:18:00is not just the return of families to their villages,
00:18:03but it is an official announcement of the beginning of closing the shelter file.
00:18:08A return that carries all meanings of
00:18:10dignity after the commission completed
00:18:13all logistical arrangements to secure this
00:18:17journey in close coordination with the Armed Forces
00:18:20and all relevant authorities to ensure
00:18:24safe and stable arrival
00:18:27for every returnee. Yusri Ahmed Mohamed Hashim, Social Development Sector representative
00:18:31of the Director General of the Social Development Sector, in
00:18:34the framework of the voluntary return of communities
00:18:38and cities that have become safe, we bid farewell to
00:18:41our people
00:18:44to the safe and stable areas
00:18:46with free will and voluntary return, God willing,
00:18:50with a number of 54 families,
00:18:5354 families with a number of 324 individuals.
00:18:57And
00:19:00camps and shelter centers to encourage voluntary return to areas
00:19:04that have become safe, because societies are built by the arms of their people,
00:19:08and we ask God to bless
00:19:11us with security and safety, and that all areas return to
00:19:15the embrace of the homeland. Now, the return is not complete without
00:19:18support. The Zakat Chamber attended as an essential partner in this
00:19:22journey. The return was not just transportation, but
00:19:25it was a solidarity. A package of cash
00:19:29and in-kind assistance was allocated by the Zakat Chamber to support returning
00:19:32families to help them repair what
00:19:36the militia destroyed and to rehabilitate
00:19:38homes. Warmth returns to the homes that
00:19:42the terrorist militia abandoned.
00:19:45I salute the victories of our Armed Forces on all
00:19:50day possible. The voluntary return to homes.
00:19:54We inaugurate the voluntary return to homes, and we are
00:19:58with them in hardship and prosperity. We tell them, "People help people,
00:20:01as long as loyalty is among them, and hardship and ease are days and hours." And the most generous
00:20:05of people in the afterlife is the man whose hand fulfills people's needs.
00:20:08We, God willing, will take care of them with honorable care
00:20:12and they will return to their families safe and sound.
00:20:15And after their return, God willing, for life to continue
00:20:19and for order to return in the various
00:20:23localities. This program has started and will continue
00:20:26until every displaced person returns to
00:20:30his home and lives his
00:20:33normal life. It is a return that preserves dignity
00:20:36and restores the community's cohesion, and confirms that
00:20:40the state is present with its services and that the will
00:20:43to build is stronger than attempts at destruction
00:20:46and displacement. Every family that returns today
00:20:50is a building block in the wall of the state's recovery and a message
00:20:54that life triumphs and that homes
00:20:57are eager to regain
00:21:00their people.
00:21:05Here ends the journey of displacement and begins
00:21:09the story of returning home. The people of Um Dam Hajj Ahmed
00:21:12leave the unified shelter center in the city of
00:21:15Al-Ubayyid, carrying
00:21:18memories, hope, and work. A commendable effort led by
00:21:21the Humanitarian Aid Commission in North
00:21:25Kordofan to turn the page of displacement and pain
00:21:27and open a new page of reconstruction, building,
00:21:31and returning home. Salma Mansour, Sudan TV,
00:21:35North Kordofan State, Al-Ubayyid
00:21:38city.
00:21:40Oh, the beauty of joy in returning home, returning
00:21:44to family, returning to loved ones. Thank you, Salma Mansour.
00:21:47Thank you to all family and loved ones here in
00:21:50North Kordofan. May this joy be for our people in
00:21:53South Kordofan, and for our people in Darfur, in its north, east,
00:21:57west, and center. God willing, security, safety, and stability will prevail.
00:22:00Sudan is a good and beautiful country and possesses a
00:22:04very large number of very great resources that if
00:22:07we invest them optimally, we will surely achieve the saying
00:22:11that Sudan is the food basket of the world. Welcome
00:22:14again, dear viewers. We welcome
00:22:18guests, God willing, will be with us sitting inside the studio in this
00:22:22episode. We are pleased in this segment to
00:22:25have Engineer Ahmed with us, sitting inside
00:22:29the studio. Engineer, welcome, and have a happy day. Hello
00:22:32to you. Have a happier day. Welcome, Engineer,
00:22:36and I mentioned Engineer Ahmed Al-Faki, a very
00:22:39well-known personality, but I wish we could give the dear viewer
00:22:43an introductory card about who
00:22:46Ahmed is. May God give you good health. Ahmed Hassan and Al-Rasoul Ali Al-Faki.
00:22:50I am proud to be one of the loyal children of this country, God willing.
00:22:54God willing. From the people of Al-Jazeera.
00:22:57I grew up in Al-Jazeera Al-Khadra.
00:23:00Al-Jazeera Al-Khadra, specifically Al-Muhaydat villages.
00:23:04Greetings to them here.
00:23:06Business strategy consultant. Founder of Souda
00:23:09Invest and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Value Company.
00:23:13Welcome, Engineer. We will start
00:23:16this dialogue, and its title is Sudan,
00:23:20the land of opportunities. And we all know that Sudan possesses a large
00:23:24number of different resources. If we start counting them,
00:23:27this episode might not be enough for us. So let's talk
00:23:34Sudan and what investments
00:23:37Sudan so that we can rise after
00:23:40the war. Well, it's easier to talk about the opportunities that are not available because
00:23:44Sudan is full of opportunities in a very big way.
00:23:47Sudan, the whole world looks at it as, as you
00:23:51just mentioned, the food basket of the world, and it is truly a land
00:23:54of promising investment opportunities. The profit
00:23:58rates available in Sudan are rates that can hardly be found anywhere
00:24:01else. God Almighty has blessed us with
00:24:04very many natural resources, meaning at the level
00:24:08of agriculture, at the level of animal
00:24:10and agricultural production, at the level of mining, underground
00:24:14and above ground,
00:24:17wealth available in Sudan, which needs us to make better use of it
00:24:21and be satisfied with that, meaning
00:24:24to sell it in the current way. We can
00:24:26value addition and add value
00:24:30to these resources so that we can benefit from them
00:24:33and achieve the maximum value, God willing. Excellent, since
00:24:37you are specialized in this particular field, can
00:24:40you analyze this problem? Could it be in planning? Is the problem in the lack
00:24:44of desire itself? Where is the core of the problem?
00:24:47Why are we not investing all these huge
00:24:50resources that we have, while many large countries
00:24:54wish they had 1% of them? I
00:24:59capabilities. We may
00:25:03planning and always look
00:25:06forward, look with a strategic vision to see what we need to do
00:25:10as a state, as ministries, as companies
00:25:13in the business world, after
00:25:16the good perspective
00:25:20of just trying to extract the available resources
00:25:24and get money from them, or as traders say,
00:25:27quick turnover. No, we should work on them, add value to them,
00:25:30and know where we are going in the future, and build
00:25:34successful countries
00:25:37that, well, provide us with or need
00:25:41our products and things. This is very important, I mean, the issue
00:25:45of partnerships, but partnerships with efficiency,
00:25:47where we benefit as we benefit others,
00:25:53everyone benefits and benefits others. Excellent. So
00:25:58in the current Sudan, can work on
00:26:02and invest in, which could
00:26:05the Sudanese economy in this particular period? We can
00:26:09invest in agriculture, improve our agricultural operations
00:26:12and add a value chain at the agricultural level, meaning for example, people should not
00:26:16be satisfied with exporting
00:26:19grains. They can work on , for example, oil
00:26:22presses, they can
00:26:25feed production, which enters into a second production cycle
00:26:28for, for example, poultry or other
00:26:31animal products.
00:26:33And sesame, for example, as we all know, people talk about it from this aspect, but I would like to add something
00:26:37very simple. The world is now shifting towards the digital
00:26:40economy and fintech, or financial
00:26:44applications. And I don't like to say that we have
00:26:47challenges. I say that these challenges are opportunities, or they are exactly
00:26:51opportunities that should be exploited. So the Sudanese market here
00:26:54needs these applications, which are
00:26:58applications available today, for example,
00:27:01Facebook, Twitter.
00:27:04And they have huge budgets. We can use this
00:27:07to achieve our goals in creating balanced partnerships
00:27:11between the private sectors and government sectors and the consumer.
00:27:15Very good. On a personal level, Engineer
00:27:19Ahmed Al-Faki, let's talk about your beginnings in
00:27:22the matter of investment and what you started with specifically and how
00:27:27the beginning?
00:27:29I honestly invested in several fields.
00:27:35But let's talk about the beginning of our investment
00:27:38and the beginning of the formation of Sudainvest, which
00:27:42is Sudainvest, when we noticed, at the time
00:27:45of the war, which we ask God to end and remove
00:27:48the distress, and to accept the martyrs
00:27:50and heal the wounded and return
00:27:54the captives. In times of crisis and when people
00:27:58were transferring their money outside the country, we saw that
00:28:01the country needed us. The country needed
00:28:07is not only with a rifle, but with all other
00:28:09aspects, economic aspects and media aspects, as
00:28:13you yourselves know. We were working
00:28:16in very complex security conditions,
00:28:20but thank God, everyone did their part. So we decided to do
00:28:23our part in the economic aspect, and we saw
00:28:27what the country might need most at that time.
00:28:30By meeting with organizations and companies in the private sector
00:28:34and government entities, we realized that we were
00:28:37expected or needed to provide seeds
00:28:40so that people could plant
00:28:45the country's food security. And we, at
00:28:48Sudainvest, formed a very distinguished partnership with AgroWays,
00:28:53in the agricultural field. We worked with them to produce
00:28:57seeds for wheat and seeds
00:29:00for corn. We worked with them on this, and thank God, we agreed and produced
00:29:03this, which contributed to providing thousands
00:29:07of acres that were planted, and I would like to point out a second point, which is that it
00:29:11opened the door and created many job opportunities
00:29:14for the local community, for young men
00:29:16and women. And from here, we moved on to implement
00:29:20other projects, other large projects in different fields.
00:29:23Exactly, we currently have a project that will be inaugurated on
00:29:26October 16th, the Value Food Products factory in
00:29:30Kassala State. This factory addresses a large
00:29:34part of the agricultural waste problems that occur, for example, in
00:29:38Kassala State. And all these projects are pilot projects. They are
00:29:42running, God willing, and when they achieve the desired results, and some of them have already achieved
00:29:45the desired results, but for example, the Value factory will start, God willing,
00:29:49during the coming period. If we succeed, we aim to generalize it to
00:29:52all states of Sudan. All states of Sudan will have factories
00:29:56of this type and size that contribute to solving many problems
00:29:59and creating a coherent environment for young people there. God
00:30:02willing, as a great motivator for young Sudanese
00:30:06investors. Specifically, what
00:30:09obstacles and problems did you face at
00:30:15opportunities were available to you and helped you to
00:30:18succeed and achieve this great success, so that it can be a message to all
00:30:22people watching, who can benefit from this speech?
00:30:25As for challenges, we always like to view them
00:30:29as opportunities. They are existing opportunities. People
00:30:33challenges, perhaps the biggest and most important of which was trust.
00:30:39Sudan amid the turbulent security situation
00:30:42in those days?
00:30:45However, this was our contribution and part of our message
00:30:49that the homeland needs you and finds you indispensable at this
00:30:52time. So you must contribute to diversifying
00:30:55your income sources and benefiting your country and your community.
00:30:59And
