00:00:33After a general amnesty was issued by These priorities are present before our people. The goal
00:00:36is to bring Syria to
00:00:38complete. the form it deserves for the Syrian returned with a number people, including that we
00:00:41now notice
00:00:45the existence of an uncontrolled discourse that
00:00:48European mandate over does not conform to the principles of the Syrian people and does not conform to the values represented by the Syrian
00:00:53the independence of the judiciary people and is of course rejected by the Syrian people themselves. Essentially,
00:00:57from the transforming this popular situation
00:01:01into a controlled governance
00:01:04framework is the goal of
00:01:07Syria TV on the the effort that begins with today's workshop, and it does not begin and is not limited to one workshop, but rather it is a path
00:01:11that started previously through many national bodies, including the Ministry of
00:01:15Information and the Ministry of Justice, but now it is placed within
00:01:18a unified effort to reach a more consistent
00:01:22and organized process
00:01:25Administration Law No. 107 does between government agencies and national bodies and ministries, and we look forward to it
00:01:28helping us.
00:01:32This was stated by the Deputy Special Envoy of the United Nations to
00:01:36one has the right to deprive someone of Syria, Claudio Cordone, in an interview with Syria
00:01:39TV, that the initiative of the Ministry of
00:01:42Foreign Affairs paves the way for developing an action plan to combat hate
00:01:50Trips start from speech. to ease the burden on
00:01:54Today, a workshop was held under the chairmanship of the Ministry of
00:01:58Foreign Affairs, and this is the first step in developing an action
00:02:02plan against hate speech in Syria.
00:02:07to ease the burden on Today, we have gathered some
00:02:09experts from
00:02:12Oh, God bless several ministries,
00:02:14and at the end of the day, we will
00:02:17to the issue of electricity, and electricity was cut off to see what the steps are in
00:02:19citizens, and this is a right for citizens. No the future. As I said, this initiative must also
00:02:23include civil society, religious
00:02:26leaders, and the media. This means there is a wide
00:02:30scope for developing
00:02:34of success to the inside, during the first plan,
00:02:38and God willing, we will reach an action plan,
00:02:40and this will be Syria.
00:02:44It will be the first country in the Arab world to have this plan.
00:02:59Syria TV reported that the Israeli occupation
00:03:02forces arrested three
00:03:05his meeting with a delegation of shepherds in the village of Sayd al-Jawlan
00:03:08and searched houses in the village of Al-Hamidiyah in the Quneitra
00:03:11countryside. In the western Daraa countryside, three
00:03:14military vehicles
00:03:17that he was a secessionist. of the Israeli occupation penetrated from the Abu Al-Ghithar gate towards
00:03:20Wadi Al-Raqad in the western Daraa countryside and ran over
00:03:25instead of a motorcycle belonging to one of the farmers during
00:03:28their passage.
00:03:31and affirming its commitment to
00:03:34The Drug Control Department
00:03:37building and the headquarters of the International announced the thwarting of an attempt to smuggle more than 100,000
00:03:40Captagon pills that were headed to the Kingdom
00:03:43of Saudi Arabia through the Naseeb border crossing.
00:03:46The department clarified that the operation was carried out
00:03:49with the participation of police dog units, where
00:03:53these narcotic pills were found hidden
00:03:57inside the spare tire of a refrigerated truck
00:04:00that was headed to Saudi Arabia. It added that the operation
00:04:04resulted in the seizure of the shipment and the arrest of the person
00:04:07involved and the confiscation
00:04:09of the seized items.
00:04:15A symposium was held at the Faculty of Pharmacy at Aleppo University
00:04:19entitled "Syria Without Drugs" coinciding with World
00:04:23Mental Health Day. It addressed the
00:04:26dangers of drugs and their health,
00:04:29psychological, and social effects and the importance
00:04:31of awareness and prevention of addiction and strengthening
00:04:35treatment and rehabilitation efforts. The importance
00:04:38of linking the "Syria Without Drugs" campaign
00:04:42with World Mental Health Day, as drugs
00:04:46rob people of their will
00:04:49and threaten their health. Today, we started
00:04:52a campaign within the context of the national
00:04:54anti-drug campaign, "Syria Without
00:04:57Drugs," which began with a symposium at the Faculty of Pharmacy at Aleppo
00:05:01University, in which we discussed the achievements of the
00:05:05prison and a number of Anti-Drug Branch and the services provided by the
00:05:08Health Directorate as Bin Khaldun Hospital. Our message is
00:05:12an awareness message, and we send reassuring messages
00:05:16to those affected that if you
00:05:18go to
00:05:22will help you reduce or
00:05:25cancel the legal accountability and we will
00:05:28help you return to your normal life through the various
00:05:31health centers. These
00:05:35are the heroes of the Anti-Drug Administration in
00:05:37my city.
00:05:45Some owners and tenants of shops in
00:05:48the city of Al-Bab in the Aleppo countryside organized a protest
00:05:51in objection to imposing a tax on the re-paving
00:05:55of the market street with amounts they described as large
00:05:58and linking it to providing the shops
00:06:01with electricity.
00:06:06No authority, no men in authority, no men
00:06:10closed the street for two and a half months. No,
00:06:14he told you to pay the money in a week, or else there would be no electricity, and now
00:06:18he threatened me because I am displaced, and the owner of my shop has
00:06:22cancer and lives in Saudi Arabia. He doesn't pay, and I can't pay. Who
00:06:25is going to pay for electricity now? Paving the streets of the area is a good
00:06:28thing, but this work must be legal work.
00:06:32Collecting money must be done legally, and Local
00:06:37not allow any local administration to impose taxes except by
00:06:41law from the head of government, and collecting taxes in this
00:06:44way is not correct. No
00:06:48electricity for your sake. Today, I pay you money
00:06:52for this asphalt, and this is known in all countries of the world. This matter means that even
00:06:56Al-Bab has other projects, and these projects were paid in installments over a year
00:07:00and a half, but today you cut off the electricity. You are cutting off my
00:07:03livelihood. I am one of the people who paid despite everything,
00:07:06because they cut off my electricity. They won't refill
00:07:09it unless you pay for the asphalt. I paid, and
00:07:16my neighbors 20% of the tenants, for
00:07:19God's sake, evacuate the shops. First, the street was closed
00:07:22for two months. Secondly, they did illegal
00:07:26things, so they linked the issue of asphalt
00:07:32entity is allowed to link
00:07:34a tax to a service in exchange for the service provided to them. The second
00:07:38point is that the issue of asphalt in the law, according to the approved Syrian
00:07:42laws, the value of asphalt is taken as 25% of the previously paved
00:07:45streets, distributed to each side 12.5%.
00:07:49The problem is that the values of asphalt that were imposed on shop
00:07:52owners are now estimated at many times the considered costs. This means that in Aleppo
00:07:56and Azaz, no value is taken for asphalt except in the city of Al-Bab.
00:07:59Of course, they considered it to be many times over, 100% and more. We remained affected for
00:08:03three months. After they finished the asphalt, after
00:08:06a week, they said they wanted approximately 670 from each
00:08:10shop, 190 dollars per meter.
00:08:14They want asphalt. Well, what did you put? There is no committee to tell you what was put
00:08:17or anything. So why this talk? Then when
00:08:21we didn't pay, we went to refill the electricity card. They said you can't
00:08:24refill it until you review the municipality and get a clearance from the municipality
00:08:28that you have paid. But I don't have this amount. Well, I have been
00:08:31suffering for three months. They don't know
00:08:42of the families of those abducted by the Israeli occupation gathered in front
00:08:46of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs
00:08:49Committee of the Red Cross in the capital Damascus to
00:08:53demand the release of their children and to reveal
00:08:57their fate. The participants demanded that the fate of the abductees be revealed
00:09:00and their release guaranteed, emphasizing the need to act
00:09:03to know their conditions and follow up on their cases. The families also called
00:09:07for an end to the violations suffered
00:09:10by residents in the provinces of Daraa
00:09:13and Quneitra.
00:09:18The families of detainees who were transferred to
00:09:22Iraq organized a protest in front of the Iraqi embassy
00:09:25in Damascus to demand that the fate of
00:09:29their
00:09:29relatives be revealed.
00:09:38They came to Iraq.
00:09:40We are used to it.
00:10:09About 600 prisoners, including Syrians,
00:10:13continue their hunger strike and refuse medication in Rumiya
00:10:17other prisons for the 30th consecutive day,
00:10:21protesting against the suspension of the general amnesty law.
00:10:25The prisoners' spokesperson said that the
00:10:28number of critical health cases among the strikers
00:10:31rose to 250 cases,
00:10:34adding that two of the strikers in Rumiya prison
00:10:38were transferred to the hospital after their health
00:10:41deteriorated.
00:10:46The Lebanese Initiative for General Amnesty criticized
00:10:49the position of the Lebanese Judges' Club on the amnesty law,
00:10:52considering that its use of the term "alleged
00:10:55injustice" implies disrespect for the suffering
00:10:59of prisoners. The initiative stated in a statement that
00:11:02the Parliament approved the general amnesty law within
00:11:06its legislative powers and that
00:11:09the law enjoys broad political,
00:11:12human rights, and humanitarian support. It also
00:11:14stressed that respecting
00:11:18does not mean ignoring the will of the legislative
00:11:20authority.
00:11:33Heavy rains that fell hours ago
00:11:37caused extensive damage in some camps in Idlib, where
00:11:41displaced people documented the conditions of their tents in the
00:11:44Barisha area in the
00:11:46province.
00:12:25The Badia region in the western Deir ez-Zor countryside witnessed
00:12:28heavy rains that caused floods in the area
00:12:32without any reported damage
00:12:33so far.
00:12:37the Prophet! 11, 10, Abu
00:12:40Uday.
00:12:45Uday, the water is flowing, guys.
00:12:46Oh, what a blessing!
00:12:55Oh, wow!
00:13:14President Ahmed Al-Sharaa stressed that Syria will rely heavily
00:13:18on Syrian competencies who have gained
00:13:22experience abroad and succeeded in
00:13:25trying to transfer the experience
00:13:30Syrian experts and specialists in the technology
00:13:33and innovation sector. President Al-Sharaa said
00:13:36that Syria has many
00:13:39opportunities within its important geographical location
00:13:42and the absence of digital infrastructure in it,
00:13:45which allows benefiting from the latest global achievements
00:13:50relying on old infrastructure and replacing it
00:13:53with high costs. He also pointed out that rebuilding
00:13:57from scratch represents an important
00:14:00opportunity for Syria, and he noted that the digital
00:14:03infrastructure is linked to government institutions
00:14:06and reconstruction projects, including residential reconstruction,
00:14:09explaining that digital life enters into various
00:14:13details of
00:14:14life.
00:14:19The Minister of Communications, Abdelsalam Heikal, discussed with the regional
00:14:23head of Meta company in the Middle East and Africa,
00:14:26Fares Akkad, the necessary steps to restore
00:14:29commercial services for Facebook,
00:14:32Instagram, and WhatsApp platforms to Syria. The Ministry clarified that
00:14:36the two sides discussed the opportunities that
00:14:39the Silk Link project for Meta company might offer
00:14:42in diversifying connection paths and data transfer through
00:14:46Syria, which contributes to enhancing the reliability of digital
00:14:49services, reducing response time, and improving
00:14:53user experience in the region. It also pointed out
00:14:56that the two sides agreed to take
00:15:00practical steps to follow up on the raised issues
00:15:04and work to overcome obstacles to the return of commercial
00:15:07services for global
00:15:09platforms.
00:15:14The Directorate of Transport in Raqqa governorate
00:15:17announced the official start of its work after completing
00:15:20technical preparations and connecting the directorate
00:15:24with the relevant authorities. This comes after a closure that lasted
00:15:27more than 13 years.
00:15:35The Raqqa Transport Directorate started
00:15:37its work in providing services to citizens of all types
00:15:40of services, including
00:15:43inspection reports specific to the court, and including
00:15:46placing a mortgage mark, removing a mortgage mark, and placing
00:15:52cars.
00:15:54Of course, regarding the connection with other
00:15:57parties, we have banks
00:16:01that have not yet been activated for electronic payment.
00:16:04Currently, the traffic branch has not been activated. We have prepared
00:16:08the building completely. The traffic administration has not yet come and taken over its place
00:16:12so that we can issue traffic clearance for cars, because traffic
00:16:16clearance is essential for cars, renewing and licensing
00:16:20vehicles, importing European vehicles. We will do it all, God
00:16:24willing, during this period. Of course,
00:16:28God willing, we still have the Spring of Peace
00:16:31area and the self-administration. The current integration
00:16:34has not been completed. Once the integration is fully completed, we
00:16:38will provide the following service to citizens, God willing, in the Spring of Peace
00:16:42and the self-administration.
00:16:46The General Authority for Civil Aviation and Air
00:16:49Transport announced the start of regular bus
00:16:52services between Baramkeh garages and Damascus
00:16:55International Airport to facilitate passengers'
00:16:58arrival at the airport. The authority indicated that the service
00:17:02includes providing transportation in the opposite direction,
00:17:05explaining that the step aims to develop services provided
00:17:09to passengers.
00:17:12The Civil Aviation Authority announced the start of internal bus
00:17:15routes from Damascus Airport to Baramkeh and from
00:17:19Baramkeh to Damascus Airport as a step
00:17:24passengers.
00:17:276 AM until 11 AM,
00:17:31and from 12 PM until 4 PM. During nighttime
00:17:34hours, there are also trips starting from 10 PM
00:17:38until 4 AM. This step
00:17:41comes
00:17:44passengers because these buses can accommodate
00:17:48a large number of people, and their
00:17:50cost is low compared to taxi fares
00:17:54and parallel taxi applications.
00:17:57This step has begun. We don't know the exact
00:18:01pricing yet because the buses that started working
00:18:05have started in a reduced and low capacity. A bus comes
00:18:08here and goes to Damascus Airport. From Damascus Airport, a bus comes here.
00:18:12Therefore, there is no departure center
00:18:15until this moment. It is expected
00:18:18that the old center will be activated or it is also expected
00:18:21that the Civil Aviation Authority will establish a new
00:18:24departure center in this area designated
00:18:28for transportation within Damascus. Amer Assi, Syria

00:18:34The Directorate of Antiquities and Museums announced that the results
00:18:37of the survey of Al-Zahrawi Palace in Homs showed that
00:18:41the works carried out did not record significant
00:18:45changes in the planning or architectural
00:18:47fabric of the palace. The directorate considered
00:18:50that the works carried out fall within
00:18:53maintenance, rehabilitation, and improvement of basic
00:18:57services, adding that the funding allocated for restoration
00:19:01was provided as a donation from the investing entity without
00:19:05any burden on the state treasury,
00:19:08Syrian architectural heritage in accordance with
00:19:11adopted scientific and technical
00:19:13standards.

00:25:22Sabri Al-Asali,
00:25:26Sabri Al-Asali, the Arab nationalist
00:25:28and prime minister who paved the way
00:25:32for unity with Egypt. Sabri
00:25:36Al-Asali was born in 1903 in the
00:25:39city of Damascus. His uncle was a deputy in the Ottoman
00:25:43Parliament, but he was
00:25:46executed by Jamal Pasha Al-Saffah in 1916
00:25:50due to his Arab
00:25:53nationalist tendencies. Al-Asali joined the Arab Law Institute
00:25:56and graduated from it in
00:26:001944. He quickly
00:26:04joined the Great Syrian Revolution.
00:26:06After the French succeeded in
00:26:11Al-Asali chose Saudi Arabia as his
00:26:14exile, where he worked
00:26:18as an advisor to King Abdul Aziz Al
00:26:20Saud.
00:26:28Al-Asali remained in Saudi Arabia until 1902.
00:26:35the French, Al-Asali
00:26:38of nationalists and nationalists to Syria and participated in
00:26:42founding the League of National Action, which was famous in
00:26:46Syria and Lebanon, calling for the abolition of the
00:26:51Arab countries and for building economic unity
00:26:55between Arab
00:26:56countries.
00:27:01Al-Asali later joined the National Bloc, which
00:27:04was his gateway to entering Parliament as a deputy for
00:27:08Damascus several times. Al-Asali served
00:27:10as Minister of Interior and also held
00:27:14the position of Minister of Education and Justice.
00:27:17Perhaps the most important event in his life was in
00:27:211948.
00:27:24Al-Asali was then serving as Minister
00:27:27of Interior. In that year, the Arabs witnessed
00:27:30a resounding defeat against the triumph of the Zionist movement
00:27:34and the declaration of the state of Israel, which led to
00:27:37the outbreak of angry popular protests in
00:27:40Syria. Al-Asali responded to these
00:27:43protests with severe repression, even resorting
00:27:46to the army when the police alone could not
00:27:49suppress the demonstrators, which led to
00:27:52an increase in resentment against him and his overthrow in
00:27:56the first military coup in
00:27:581949.
00:28:07Al-Asali was marginalized during the period of military coups
00:28:10and did not return to the political arena until
00:28:131954,
00:28:17when Adib al-Shishakli was overthrown and Hashim al-Atassi rose
00:28:20to the presidency. Al-Asali then formed
00:28:24his second government, influenced by his inclination
00:28:28towards the Saudi-Egyptian axis. Al-Asali supported the Nasserist
00:28:31movement and was one of the architects
00:28:35of the unity project and he was still Prime
00:28:39Minister.
00:28:41After the establishment of the unity, Abdul Nasser appointed Sabri Al-Asali as his
00:28:45deputy, but the good relationship between Al-Asali
00:28:48and Abdul Nasser did not last long, as
00:28:52Al-Asali soon accused Abdul Nasser of establishing a dictatorial
00:28:55rule in Syria, so he supported
00:28:58the 1961 coup
00:29:03that ended the unified
00:29:04state.
00:29:08However, the unrest did not end then. Two
00:29:12years later, the Ba'ath carried out its coup
00:29:15and confiscated all of Al-Asali's property on the pretext
00:29:19From the Great Syrian Revolution to the alliance with Abdul
00:29:23Nasser to the coup against him, Al-Asali's
00:29:26life went through many turns, ending in the isolation
00:29:30imposed on him by the Ba'athists until he died in
00:29:341976 in his city of Damascus.
00:30:45We had three coups
00:30:48from March 30 until January
00:30:5218. December. We had three
00:30:55coups. Husni al-Za'im's coup, Sami
00:30:58al-Hinnawi's coup, and
