00:00:10Warnings of a dangerous
00:00:12of escalation after a missile
00:00:13of strike on Saudi Arabia's main airport, kills 12.
00:00:17The attack is being blamed on Yemen's hoothies. Now Donald Trump is
00:00:21considering a U.S.
00:00:30program: Pakistan declares a state of
00:00:32of emergency
00:00:33in a northwestern province, roads blocked and the internet cut
00:00:36in the stronghold of jailed former prime minister Imran
00:00:40Khan. Donald Trump says Ukraine should get
00:00:43new president after securing an oil deal with
00:00:47Russia. And
00:00:49of down, but not out. India's youth led Cockroach movement says they
00:00:53will continue protests
00:00:55of demanding the election commissioner
00:00:58in in resigns.

00:01:14of Saudi Arabia is shutting down schools in the capital
00:01:18as it decides how to respond to a missile attack on the main
00:01:22airport.
00:01:23of 12 people were killed and more than 300 injured
00:01:26in a Saturday strike that threatens to further inflame
00:01:29a region. already on edge over the US war on Iran.
00:01:33Domestic terminals at King colored international airport were hit with
00:01:37Saudi Arabia blaming from neighboring
00:01:45Arabia has been hit hard, deep inside its
00:01:48territory. There was panic inside the domestic terminals of
00:01:52King Khalid International airport in Riyad after it
00:01:56was track by a missile on Saturday afternoon. The south. led
00:02:00military coalition describes what happened as a war
00:02:04crime, vowing, decisive response.
00:02:07A projectile also landed near King Fahad international airport
00:02:11in Damasmam. The Saudis
00:02:15of blame the Hutis from neighboring Yaman for the
00:02:18attacks. The UN secretary general also pointed the
00:02:22finger at the group. Antonio gutieres
00:02:26demanded that the attack stop immediately.
00:02:30"the Iran-backed group said it carried out separate strikes on
00:02:34Riyad's main airport on
00:02:36in Thursday, killing three people and damaging an
00:02:39aircraft, but they haven't claimed responsibility for
00:02:42Saturday's strike. Hours before, the
00:02:46Hutis had said they were prepared to take
00:02:50of reciprocal steps with Saudi Arabia to keep airports,
00:02:53seaports and other civilian facilities used for
00:02:56humanitarian purposes out
00:02:59of the expanded. confrontation, the question now
00:03:03is whether or not the US will respond to Saudi calls to join
00:03:08of in, i think it's terrible,
00:03:10of well you're going to find out, see, but i think it's
00:03:13terrible,
00:03:18well they're able to defend, look, the saudis are good
00:03:21of fighters, but i think the attack was terrible thing, the
00:03:24his have already put pressure on Saudi
00:03:27of Arabia through their control
00:03:29of the babel. straight through which much of
00:03:33Saudi Arabia's oil exports are
00:03:35shipped, but in the past week, the Yemani
00:03:39government forces, backed by Saudi Arabia, have
00:03:43made some progress in pushing back the Huti
00:03:46advance. They claimed on Saturday to have killed more
00:03:50than 1,400 Huti fighters in
00:03:5424 hours. The next move could
00:03:57determine not only the state of this conflict.

00:04:09and Mohammed Alatab filed this report from the yemini capital
00:04:14in sana so far the military spokes person
00:04:17hasn't talked during his latest pressers about the
00:04:21latest attacks on riyadh but previously they have
00:04:25reated their
00:04:27warnings for fly. and
00:04:30also the people who are using the air space
00:04:33of the Saudi Arabia, accepted for the Medina and Mecca, they said that
00:04:37they wouldn't attack airports in in Makkah and Madina, but also
00:04:41they have won of using the airports of Saudi Arabia and also
00:04:45it's air space throughout the the the Saudi kingdom,
00:04:49so we are talking about this equation that have been
00:04:53of issued retated by the His from the beginning
00:04:56of the leaders escalation, they are the going to uh take this
00:05:00blocade for blockade and also escalation for
00:05:04escalation, so we are what we are witnessing that this is an
00:05:07indication that the the the the escalation between the Saudi
00:05:11Arabia and Also the internationally recognized government has come has
00:05:15cross so so many lines that we are talking about the now we
00:05:19civilians are being attacked in different areas especially in Yemen and
00:05:23also in Saudi Arabia so far many observers hope that the
00:05:26the these latest escalation could be descalated by
00:05:30the international international diplomacy especially as
00:05:34the price is the civilians are paying the price
00:05:38of such development so we are talking about this developments and
00:05:42the the according the to the spokes person the internationally recognized
00:05:46government majd
00:05:48he mentioned that they have inflicted heavy losses on the hy fighters
00:05:51especially and when they have tried to advance towards what he
00:05:55described the airport of dabab and also they have mentioned that
00:05:59they have carried out nearly
00:06:011900 operations which is which
00:06:05is in the concesest of yeman's done according to his
00:06:08words to pakistan now a state of emergency has
00:06:12been imposed in the province of Pactunqua. In the past
00:06:15hour, there are also reports that the head of that provincial government has been
00:06:19arrested. The province is in the stronghold the PTI
00:06:23party of jailed former Prime Minister Imran Khan. Main
00:06:27roads in the city of Peshawar have been blocked with shipping
00:06:30containers, and the mobile network is also reported to have
00:06:34been cut. The move comes just days after marches
00:06:38by Khan supporters who had wanted to march to the capital.
00:06:42Let's head live now to Islamabad where Camron Yusuf
00:06:46is standing by for us. Camron, break this this all down for us,
00:06:50why have authorities declared a state of emergency in this particular
00:06:54province?
00:06:58Well, Khakhtankha province is the
00:07:02only province where opposition Pakistan tahrik or the party of former
00:07:06Prime Minister Imran Khan who is currently in
00:07:09jail was ruling. problems
00:07:13and the tension between the center and the Khaiber government has been
00:07:16growing for some time from on how
00:07:20to deal with the security situation. it is worth noting here that
00:07:23khaibar province shares border with afghanistan and it has seen
00:07:27a surge in terrorist attacks and
00:07:31according to the federal government, the KP government was not
00:07:35cooperating to deal with this terror threat. in
00:07:38fact when the federal government federal cabinet today an
00:07:42emergency. meeting decided to impose emergency and a governor
00:07:45rule, they particularly chargeat the KP
00:07:49government by saying that the KP government
00:07:52deliberately disengaged from fighting
00:07:56terrorism and hence created a situation where the government was
00:08:00left with other option but to take charge, but
00:08:03this would also be seen in the context of
00:08:07ongoing political tension because the party of former prime minister Imran
00:08:11Khan has launched. campaign to seek his release and
00:08:15last week they have started their campaign from the KP
00:08:18province, so many experts believe that federal
00:08:21government this move was
00:08:25trying to deter protesters to come to
00:08:47Donald Trump says it's time for Ukraine to get new president.
00:08:51It follows criticism from his Ukrainian counterpart a US
00:08:55diesel deal with Russia. Vladimir Zelensky has called the
00:08:58move weak and warned it will only help Russia's war. The
00:09:02deal is expected to lead to the immediate release of more than
00:09:05300,000 tons of Russian diesel with more to come
00:09:09in the in the months ahead. Trump is... trying to drive
00:09:13down record diesel prices in the U.S. ahead of next month's
00:09:17mid-term elections. Well, I think he should have an
00:09:20election, and uh, he could have settled this thing many times. Well,
00:09:24I think that Russia would like to make deal,
00:09:28and we've had it back and forth, but Russia would like to make
00:09:32deal, but uh, as I said, this is something that could have
00:09:36been solved many times, but for whatever
00:09:40reason Zelinski does not want to make deal.
00:09:43Leoni lakani has more from Washington
00:09:46DC: what we're seeing Trump do is
00:09:50essentially try and shift the blame uh from himself and
00:09:54from the White House in the administration for the higher diesel and oil
00:09:57prices that we're seeing around the world, especially here in the United States.
00:10:01And we've been hearing him say these kinds of things recently in campaign
00:10:05rallies. He's trying to blame Ukraine and Zelensky for these
00:10:09higher prices that we're seeing uh and when you talk to oil. analysts, they
00:10:13say yes, of course uh
00:10:14the Ukraine Russia war does impact prices, but the bigger
00:10:18issue is the fact that supplies have been essentially
00:10:22brought almost to a standsil from
00:10:24the street of Herm. which would point fingers once again at the
00:10:27administration in the Iran war, and so what we hear Trump do
00:10:30repeatedly, especially in recent weeks is trying blame Ukraine
00:10:34and Zelensky for it uh, and the types of actions we've seen
00:10:38him do in the past few weeks shows that he's actually quite concerned
00:10:42about these prices, diesel prices uh in the US are up
00:10:46nearly 75% since the war began uh and
00:10:50this really impacts the heartlands of America, the farming,
00:10:53agricultural parts, the country that are very important part of
00:10:57Trump's base uh and in recent weeks we've seen him
00:11:00taking quite a few drastic actions so last month
00:11:04US congress passed bill that essentially widened the
00:11:08sanctions on Russia, not just that Trump came out and
00:11:11criticized Europeans who were still buying oil from Russia
00:11:15uh and then he makes his about turn making making this
00:11:19diesel uh deal with Russia in the past
00:11:22day um addition to that he's has
00:11:25threatened the Europeans, he threatened to ban American
00:11:29exports of diesel to the Europe, and uh,
00:11:33Europeans responded by releasing some their stock piles, trying to
00:11:37add supply to the market, which is what Trump wanted. um, he's
00:11:40even waved a fuel tax a different type of diesel in the country to
00:11:44try and add supplies. the problem with all of this at the moment is
00:11:48nothing is really shifting the prices and so all these kinds of
00:11:52measures and all these kinds of uh comments we're hearing from Trump
00:11:56just shows that he's a little bit uh desperate
00:12:00and also just very concerned about what's happening with the prices and he
00:12:03knows that voters are paying attention.
00:12:07Israeli strikes have hit Gaza with der albala and
00:12:10Gaza City among the areas targeted. at least five
00:12:14Palestinians were killed and eight wounded when an Israeli strike
00:12:18hit a gathering of civilians in Gaza City on Saturday,
00:12:21while Israeli attacks killed two other people in separate
00:12:25incidents earlier, at least six people were injured by
00:12:28Israeli gunis, according to medical sources
00:12:31there, more than 1,400 Palestinians have been killed since the
00:12:35cice fire took effect in October last year. Ashraf
00:12:39Shanan has more from Gaza City.
00:12:42over the last 24 hours at least six people have lost their lives
00:12:46including four people here, not far from
00:12:50where I'm standing, few hundred meters just
00:12:54west from. here in the western part of Gaza City, I
00:12:58also one more person was killed in a naf
00:13:02area
00:13:02in in Gaza City, both both were drone attacks, when you talk
00:13:06about a drone attack not necessarily single rocket, sometimes they
00:13:10fire six or eight rockets to make sure someone
00:13:14was uh the to make sure they confirmed the kill, similar
00:13:18to what happened later yesterday in magazi in in
00:13:22central gaza on saladin road video and just show a
00:13:26wounded man on the street and then another rocket executing him
00:13:30making sure the confirmation the kill, as far
00:13:33as Israel is concerned, they they have calloss
00:13:37disregard for the value human life when it
00:13:41comes uh to palestinian life, these tents, tens of
00:13:45thousands of hundreds of thousands them, they warn out, we're
00:13:48talking, we've just entered few days ago, the fourth
00:13:51year the war, those things
00:13:54you know the... the the purpose of of of making them
00:13:58is you know to have temporary shelter a month to two maximum three months,
00:14:02but you're not supposed to endure winters. we're talking about the
00:14:06fourth winter, this what is the fourth winter since uh
00:14:10since uh since 2023, unfortunately
00:14:14Israel is not allowing shelter shelter equipment and including tents
00:14:17and other materials needed to help people prepare because as I
00:14:21said they have callous disregard for the value of life when it comes to... Palestinians
00:14:25and we have more the following
00:14:27report. Amil
00:14:30harazin is a word man with what could be very harsh
00:14:34winter around the corner. He's deeply concerned for
00:14:38his family who live a tent. I'm trying to
00:14:42secure my tent. I have newborn baby who is less than a week old
00:14:46and three young children. Last year we suffered badly when a storm
00:14:49hit, so I need to be prepared this time. This
00:14:53year the conditions could be. much worse for the people in Gaza
00:14:57already suffering due to Israel's devastating war on the
00:15:00strip, for families living and fragile shelters, even
00:15:04basic preparations may not be enough, war damaged homes
00:15:08and obliterated infrastructure leave many displacement
00:15:12sites vulnerable to flooding as well as
00:15:15collapse, we've heard that very
00:15:18powerful storm may be coming our way, it could destroy homes, let
00:15:22alone tents, we put our trust in. "my tent is
00:15:26so fragile that even a light storm could destroy it,
00:15:30imagine what this storm could do, the storm he's
00:15:33referring to is the elninu weather phenomena.
00:15:37Scientists are warning about its catastrophic effects which could
00:15:41settle firmly by December, and in Gaza, its
00:15:45repercussions could make life even worse. According to the
00:15:49International Organization for migration, IOM, around
00:15:531.8 million people are living in displacement sites
00:15:56across the wartorn territory. More than 80%
00:16:00the tents and makeshift shelters are in poor
00:16:04condition, while only 17% of winter shelter.
00:16:07needs have been met, we're dreading the
00:16:11winter as well as the storm, the rain could flood our tents,
00:16:15leaking in from above and sweeping in from
00:16:18below. we have almost nothing to protect ourselves with. we
00:16:22lie awake at night, worried about the rain and the strong
00:16:25winds. there is no end to the suffering. with
00:16:29little protection from the rain, families fear the destruction the
00:16:33shelters and the exposure to the cold.
00:16:37Palestinians prepared to face another harsh winter, they brace themselves for the
00:16:41worst, and mid Israel's refusal to allow adequate shelter
00:16:44material. Ashraf Shanan, TRT World,
00:16:48Gaza. At the UN General Assembly, Benjamin
00:16:51Netanyahu claimed Israel is the one place in the Middle East where
00:16:55Christianity is thriving, but Palestinian Christian
00:16:59leaders say he's lying. Our correspondant Muhammad El Kasim reports from
00:17:03occupied east Jerusalem and occupied West Bank
00:17:06where attacks. rising and ancient community is under
00:17:10threat.
00:17:14Beyond these walls, the Christian presence in the holy land is
00:17:18shrinking faster than almost anywhere else in the region.
00:17:22We're facing a system, an oppressive system that is
00:17:25creating life circumstances that are simply not livable, and this is
00:17:29what they're saying, they're not hiding their intentions. The
00:17:33number of checkpoints, the restrictions in our movements, the...
00:17:37fear that many Christians fear in the villages like all Palestinians from the settler
00:17:41attacks and knowing that there is no accountability,
00:17:45this is the holiest site in Christianity built on the
00:17:48spot where Christians believe Jesus was crucified and rose
00:17:52again, yet even on their holiest days, Palestinian
00:17:56Christians often struggle just to reach it, hemmed
00:18:00in by restrictions imposed by the Israeli authorities
00:18:04in the very city where their faith began.
00:18:08"security footage has captured some of it directly, a French non
00:18:12shoved and kicked near the last supper side, an illegal settler
00:18:15spitting at the entrance of an Armenian monastery. I think
00:18:19there's the Israeli government has
00:18:22taken such a extremist far right position
00:18:26where it wants to see an exclusive Jewish state, and that
00:18:30means as many Jews as possible in the land as and as
00:18:34many uh non- Jews outside.
00:18:39just 30 km to the north, that pressure takes a very
00:18:43different form, is home to roughly 1200
00:18:47people, nearly all them christian, today its
00:18:50residents are packing up and moving out, motivation is to
00:18:54occupied more land, to occupied more land from
00:18:58palestinians, to create the kingdom of Israel or
00:19:02the state of Judah,
00:19:06to to make lot of... they are terrorists and
00:19:09yet at the United Nations, very different picture was
00:19:13painted on Christians,
00:19:15you know that their numbers are plummeting everywhere in the middle
00:19:19east where they're being persecuted and hounded, except one
00:19:22place, my country Israel where the Christian community is
00:19:26growing, thriving, succeeding, we're still not able
00:19:30to go worship freely in Jerusalem, taiba is still under
00:19:34attack, who is he fooling and the fact that
00:19:37the world allows him as a war criminal to stand in such a stage
00:19:41and spew this lies is truly
00:19:44shameful. if anybody wants to know what's happening to palestinian
00:19:48christians, they can talk to us and not listen to liar like
00:19:51Netanyahu. for palestinian Christian leaders, the issue is no
00:19:55longer simply protecting individual churches. it's whether
00:19:59Christianity can maintain a viable presence in the land
00:20:03where it began. muhammad, TRT

00:20:15to India now where the cockroach protest movement leader Abujit
00:20:19Dipki has been released from detention with two other senior

00:20:50demonstrators. we want
00:20:54to tell this government that we are not scared of your dictorial
00:20:57actions. the way this government responded today, it shows that
00:21:01it is scared the public and it is like we have one half
00:21:05of our battle. the government would be feeling that the protest would end
00:21:09today if they detained us, but this is new beginning of our
00:21:13protest. the protest will continue until Ganesh
00:21:16Kumar resigns and no matter. How many

00:21:38New Delhi. This is one the most popular commercial establishments

00:21:46forces announcements asking people to disperse. and look
00:21:50at the number of security vehicles that have been
00:21:53deployed here, the layers of security personnel from different
00:21:57forces, whether it's delhi police, rapid action force, all
00:22:01the security deployment, keeping in mind that massive protests are

00:22:45shut, railways, trains were cancelled off, buses were

00:23:00stopped or to at least try and protest and make themselves heard
00:23:04in different corners the delhi national capital region, several
00:23:07thousand people were detained and every now and then we do see
00:23:11here in kanat place that these security
00:23:14forces, they run, nap
00:23:17somebody, some individual, them and take them away in the
00:23:21detention vehicles, you can look at the entire
00:23:25sea of security personal deployed here in the national
00:23:29capital, unprecedented scenes as citizens
00:23:32continue to demand electoral
00:23:35accountability from
00:23:38the BJP government in India because
