00:00:17air strike hits the international
00:00:18of airport in Riyadh for second day as the Houti claim responsibility for
00:00:22Saturday's deadly strike on the same
00:00:24airport. Hello and welcome to TRT World's live from
00:00:28Istanbul,
00:00:28of I'm Jafar Hustman. so coming up. Israel
00:00:32expands at so-called yellow line in Gaza, forcing dozens of
00:00:35of Palestinian families to flee in the middle
00:00:37of the night. Donald Trump says Russia and
00:00:41Ukraine have agreed to halt a strikes on each other's energy infrastructure.
00:00:45Vlodimir Zelensky welcomes the move. The Polish

00:01:15We start this hour in Saudi Arabia where authorities say another projectile
00:01:19has hit Riyad's main airport causing fire. The attacks come less than day
00:01:23after a missile strike at
00:01:24in the same airport killed 13 people and injured more than
00:01:28300 others. The Buthis have claimed responsibility for the attack, the
00:01:32militia has also warned airlines and travelers to stay away from Saudi
00:01:36airports. Basambini, begins our
00:01:38coverage. Saudi Arabia has been
00:01:42hit hard, deep inside its
00:01:45of territory. There was panic inside the domestic terminals of King Khalid
00:01:49International Airport in Riyad after it was truck
00:01:53by a missile on Saturday afternoon. The Saudi led military
00:01:57in coalition describes what happened as a for crime vowing,
00:02:01decisive response. A projectile also landed
00:02:06of near King Fahad International Airport in Damasmam.
00:02:09The Saudis blame the Ansar
00:02:12of Allah Hothies from neighboring Yeman for the attacks. The UN
00:02:16secretary general also pointed the finger at the
00:02:19group. Antonio gutieres demanded that
00:02:23the attack stop immediately. The
00:02:26Iran-backed group said it carried out separate. strikes on
00:02:30Riyad's main airport on Thursday, killing three people and
00:02:34damaging an aircraft, but they haven't claimed
00:02:37responsibility for Saturday's strike. Hours
00:02:41before, the Huties had said they were prepared
00:02:45to take
00:02:46of reciprocal steps with Saudi Arabia to keep airports,
00:02:49seaports and other civilian facilities used for
00:02:52humanitarian purposes out
00:02:55of the expanding confrontation. The question now
00:02:59is whether or...
00:03:05of
00:03:10of
00:03:14able to defend, look the
00:03:16Well they're Saudis are good fighters,
00:03:18of but I think the attack
00:03:19was terrible thing. The Hutis have already put pressure on
00:03:23Saudi Arabia through their control
00:03:25of the Babel Mandab straight, through which much of Saudi
00:03:29Arabia. oil exports are
00:03:31shipped, but in the past week, the Yemani
00:03:35government forces, backed by Saudi Arabia have
00:03:39made some progress in pushing back the Hi
00:03:42advance. They claimed on Saturday to have killed more
00:03:46than
00:03:48of 1,400 Houti fighters in 24 hours.
00:03:52The next move could determine not only the state of this
00:03:56of conflict,
00:03:57of but whether the region again.
00:04:04of
00:04:11as conflict in yemen grows wider and become more violent,
00:04:15Saudi Arabia civil aviation authority said
00:04:19airport was attacked Sunday evening with damage assessment
00:04:23underway, it also reported new attack on Riyadh King
00:04:26Khalid airport that caused injuries after an air
00:04:30attack kill 12 and wonded hundreds. hothy spokes
00:04:34person Yahya Sariah later on claimed responsibility saying
00:04:38they carried out four operations in 24
00:04:41hours targing riad and
00:04:45of of dammam airports and Aramco facilities in
00:04:46of response to what he described 124 Saudi air strikes on
00:04:50Yemen. He warned Saudi airports are
00:04:54unsafe accept Makka and Madina and vote escalate
00:04:57until the sages lefted according. to his words,

00:05:08against hothy fighters using worplanes, drones and
00:05:12artillery neutralizing hundreds offi fighters with
00:05:16advances ongoing.
00:05:20Turkish foreign ministry has strongly condemned Saturdays wh the attack on King
00:05:23Khalid international airport in Riyadh a statement it says these attacks which
00:05:27deliberately target civilian infrastructure and innocent civilians
00:05:30constitute a clear violation of international law and the principles
00:05:34of international humanitarian law. We emphasized that such
00:05:38actions which pose a threat to regional security and stability and undermine the
00:05:42internet. communities collective efforts to establish peace
00:05:45must seiz immediately. As Turkia, we reaffirm
00:05:49our support for Saudi Arabia sovereignty and territorial
00:05:52integrity.
00:05:56And Turkia, Pakistan, Egypt, along with Saudi Arabia have also
00:06:00issued a joint statement on Sunday condemning the ongoing attacks on Saudi
00:06:04soil. The nations expressed their full support for all legitimate
00:06:08measures by Riyad to counter these attacks and held Hothies.

00:06:22Israeli forces have continued bombing gaza strip for second
00:06:26consecutive day on Sunday, killing at least four more people. this as the
00:06:29Israeli military is expanding its so-called yellow line in the
00:06:33east of Gaza City. earlier on Saturday, they opened heavy
00:06:37fire and launched artillery shelling in Shajaya, injuring two
00:06:41Palestinians including a pregnant. woman, dozens of Palestinian families were forced
00:06:45to flee once again in search of safety following advances by Israeli
00:06:48military. locals there describe it as night of
00:06:52ter, filled with heavy Israeli gun fire and explosions.
00:06:56the UN said nearly two-thirds the enclave is inaccessible to
00:06:59Palestinians or subject to severe

00:07:05Zawaida have inspected the aftermath of an Israeli air strikes. the residents
00:07:09said they were given five minutes to evacuate before bombs. were dropped on the house
00:07:13on Saturday, Israel has stepped up strikes against Palestinians
00:07:17in Gaza undermining a US broker seasfire agreed one
00:07:21year ago. Ashrab shaman has the latest: currently
00:07:25Israel controls more than 70% in reality,
00:07:28because we are here, we see this with our own eyes,
00:07:3164%, that was maybe two months ago
00:07:35according to to international agencies working in Gaza, but
00:07:39almost every hour, every day far is... forces are
00:07:43creeping further west uh right now
00:07:46more than 2 million people in Gaza are living in less than
00:07:5030% of of of Gaza's territory, Gaza is to
00:07:54be 360 square kilometers
00:07:57approximately and now people are living within about 100
00:08:01kilometers and even the 100 kilometers are not safe because you have
00:08:05daily air strikes, tank fire, sniper fire
00:08:08even random fire by machine guns you know they they just...
00:08:12open the fire on anything that moves, they open the
00:08:16fires, they they they move their machine guns to the western
00:08:20part of Gaza, so the majority the
00:08:23territory that Israeli forces are pointing their forces at is
00:08:26towards the west, towards the mediterranean, while in some areas like
00:08:30Betlahya and Northern Gaza, they point their guns towards
00:08:34the south, and in the south they point to towards the
00:08:37north, and it's not only that Jafar, even in the
00:08:41in the Mediterranean. Israeli gunboats fire on people on
00:08:45the coastal area where thousands of tents are located,
00:08:49tens of thousands of not hundreds of hundreds of thousands of
00:08:53children, women, elderly people are living in
00:08:56those tents, so far today at least six
00:08:59people were injured, including a pregnant woman jafar in her second
00:09:03trimester, and doctors say it's they're
00:09:07not sure if they're able even to save the mother or
00:09:11or or her... herphetus now uh already
00:09:15since the start the seasfire back in October 2025 and
00:09:19already now we already passed one year since this so-called cease
00:09:23fire close to 1500 people have lost their lives more than
00:09:26500 others injured while earlier this morning for
00:09:30example in eastern Gaza city less than three
00:09:33kilometers from where I'm standing if you go east
00:09:37about three three kilometers 3 and a half kilometers I'll be I'll
00:09:41be faced with a tank or a machine gun in front
00:09:45of me, of course nobody, nobody even dares to get close to that area where
00:09:49Israeli soldiers are located few hundred
00:09:52meters to uh the west the
00:09:56so-called to this to the east the so-called yellow line, they keep opening
00:09:59their heavy machine guns and artillery and tank
00:10:03fire towards the western parts of
00:10:07that area, so this morning people were sleeping,
00:10:11although they're not sleeping safely. within uh partially
00:10:14standing buildings
00:10:18damaged by Israel's war and inside makeshift
00:10:22tents and they woke up this morning. finding the
00:10:25yellow blocks moved past them and this means
00:10:29you're a kill zone
00:10:31so people panic doesn't as a family just ran
00:10:34away with whatever they can and sometimes some people i i've seen
00:10:38people who who left with nothing because they know life
00:10:42is more important than belongings
00:10:44jaf
00:10:48right ashraf and i understand winter is only few months away
00:10:52so how can palestinians if at all prepare for the harsh
00:10:56conditions
00:10:56there,
00:11:03well every coming, every every everything is coming against the Palestinians in
00:11:07Gaza, the weather, the some people say it's the
00:11:11international conspiracy of silence when it comes to Palestinians and
00:11:14now the international organization of migration, IOM
00:11:17says, Israel is not allowing tens of thousands of tens and
00:11:21shelter shelter supplies to enter Gaza, especially
00:11:25is approaching and its effects
00:11:29could could you know most likely will affect the
00:11:32people of gaza and we have more in the following
00:11:35package.
00:11:41amil harazen is a word man with what could be very harsh
00:11:44winter around the corner. he's deeply concerned for
00:11:48his family who live a tent. i'm trying to
00:11:52secure my tent.
00:11:53i have newborn baby. is less than a week old and three young
00:11:56children, last year we suffered badly when a storm hit, so i
00:12:00need to be prepared this time. this year the conditions
00:12:04could be much worse for the people in Gaza already suffering due
00:12:08to Israel's devastating war on the strip. for
00:12:12families living in fragile shelters, even basic preparations
00:12:15may not be enough, war damaged homes and obliterated
00:12:19infrastructure leave many displacement sites
00:12:23vulnerable to flooding as well.
00:12:25collapse, we heard that very
00:12:28powerful storm may be coming our way, it could destroy homes, let
00:12:32alone tents, we put our trust in god, my tent is
00:12:36so fragile that even a light storm could destroy it,
00:12:40imagine what this storm could do, the storm he's
00:12:44referring to is the elninu weather phenomena,
00:12:47scientists are warning about its catastrophic effects which could
00:12:51settle firmly by December, and in Gaza, its
00:12:55repercussions could make life even worse. According to the
00:12:59International Organization for migration, IOM,
00:13:03around 1.8 million people are living in displacement sites
00:13:06across the wartorn territory. More than
00:13:0980% the tents and makeshift
00:13:12shelters are in poor condition, while only
00:13:1517% of winter shelter needs have been
00:13:18met, we're dreading the winter as well
00:13:22as the storm. The rain could flood our tent. leaking in from
00:13:26above and sweeping in from below. We have almost
00:13:30nothing to protect ourselves with. We lie awake at night,
00:13:33worried about the rain
00:13:35and the strong winds. There is no end to the
00:13:38suffering. With little protection from the
00:13:41rain, families fear the destruction the shelters and the exposure to
00:13:45the cold. As palestinians prepare to face another harsh
00:13:49winter, they brace themselves for the worst, am mid Israel's refusal to
00:13:53allow adequate shelter.
00:13:58Gaza: Palestinian farmers in Ain
00:14:02Yabru the east of Ramala gathered
00:14:04in groups on Sunday to harvest their olives emit threats and attacks by the illegal
00:14:07settlers. Israeli forces used a stun grenades at the farmers as the
00:14:11settlers is stole half their harvest and vital farming
00:14:15equipment. Locals managed to salvage only 15 banks of olives
00:14:19but vowd to return in large numbers to defend their land. Muhammad Elwan
00:14:23has the story.
00:14:34to access them under the shadow of Israels and illegal
00:14:37occupation together the residents of anya brute village in
00:14:41the occupied west bank set out on Sunday to harvest their olive
00:14:45trees keeping alive a tradition known as
00:14:48Alana where people help each other pick the
00:14:52crop another reason for this unity is to protect their
00:14:56land from illegal Israeli settlers who have taken over large
00:15:00areas. Israel has declared the area a closed military zone,
00:15:04preventing Palestinians from accessing their own land. for
00:15:07this land owner, even trying to access his property
00:15:11could lead to arrest, he has chosen not to show his
00:15:15face feeling
00:15:16detention. we have come to harvest
00:15:20our own olives. these are our village trees inherited from our fathers
00:15:24and grandfathers. Thank god, our spirits are high because we are
00:15:27standing on our own land, we are not here to steal or harm
00:15:30anyone, they are the ones coming to us stealing our
00:15:33harvest, residents had been on their land for just an... hour
00:15:37when illegal settlers attacked, minutes later, Israeli forces
00:15:41arrived, the head the village council could only watch as
00:15:45residents were forced to leave for their own
00:15:48safety, illegal settlers ramped the village
00:15:52council's vehicle, forcing it off the road, attacked
00:15:56residents and tried to run people over, they
00:15:59then trave stones at olive pickers from higher ground while
00:16:02Israeli forces fired stunt grenades at the
00:16:06Palestinians. Illegal settlers were seen cutting away
00:16:10the stolen olive harvest and heading towards the top the
00:16:13mountain, they had previously taken over.
00:16:17The Palestinians have been forced to leave, but they remained determined to
00:16:21return and harvest their olives. What happened here reflects a
00:16:24wider pattern across the occupied West Bank, where illegal settler
00:16:28violence continues escalate. Across the
00:16:31occupied West bank, more than 10 attacks are reported
00:16:35daily with illegal settler stealing. harvests in front
00:16:39their owners and using equipment to speed up the
00:16:42process. According to the agricultural ministry,
00:16:46losses to Palestinian's Olive sector have exceeded
00:16:50$157 million dollars since
00:16:522023, with around 286,00
00:16:56olive trees damaged in the west bank. The minister fears
00:17:00these losses to rise as the harvest
00:17:04continues. TRT World.
00:17:08Ramallah, the occupied west bank. Turkish head of
00:17:12communications branitin duran has condemned Israeli defense minister
00:17:15Israel's remarks targeting president and
00:17:19Turkey. Diran says the comments reflect political
00:17:22desperation ahead of Israel's upcoming
00:17:24elections. Baseless accusations against
00:17:28Turkia cannot conceal the Israeli government's record of genocide in
00:17:32Gaza or its continued aggressive policies in our region.
00:17:36Cuts explicit. death threats against individuals involved in sece fire
00:17:40and peace negotiations are yet another manifestation the Israeli
00:17:44government's disregard for international law, turkey will continue to
00:17:48defend the legitimate rights the palestinian people, justice and lasting
00:17:52peace. the Israeli government's threats, provocations and smart
00:17:56campaigns will not deter our country from its steadfast
00:18:00commitment to upholding what is right and
00:18:02just. at least 13 people have been killed
00:18:06in aerial attack a gold mine in Sudan near the Egyptian border, that's
00:18:10according to the Sudan doctors network. It occurred in the very
00:18:13north of Sudan's river Niila state. Egypt has previously carried
00:18:17out attacks in this area accusing Sudanese minors of border violations
00:18:21or mismuggling. The neither Sudanese or Egyptian
00:18:25officials have commented on Saturday's incident
00:18:27yet. Abdullah Hussein has
00:18:30more. The Sudan doctors Network, the
00:18:34organization said it's also reporting dozens of casualties. but
00:18:38uh they also mentioned that the figures remained uh preliminary,
00:18:42some workers and eyewitnesses have accused the Egyptian military of
00:18:45carrying out uh the reported striks, but that
00:18:49has not been independently verified yet, neither the Sudanese
00:18:53nor the Egyptian military has public publicly commented uh
00:18:57so far on the incident. what makes this uh particularly sensitive
00:19:01is that this is not the first reported uh incident in this
00:19:05area, similar strikes were reportted. in June, last June
00:19:09when Egyptian authorities said uh they were conducting security
00:19:12operations against illegal mining, smuggling and border
00:19:16crossings. Sudanese miners were also reported killed and
00:19:20injured at that time, and uh this is
00:19:23major uh livelihood issue in Sudan. artisanal
00:19:27mining uh supports more than 2 million people, according to latest
00:19:31statistics and accounts for more than 80% the country's

00:19:57US president Donald Trump says Russia and Ukraine have agreed to halt a
00:20:01strikes on each other's energy infrastructure. Donald Trump made the announcement on his
00:20:04truth social platform without giving further details.
00:20:50is not only Ukraine, Russia as well have not made a comment on this
00:20:53announcement yet, Russia hasn't made a comment and Ukraine, Zelinsky has
00:20:57said that he's surprised but he would welcome a cease fire,
00:21:01meanwhile Ursolov underline the EU came out and
00:21:05voiced her support for Zelinski, voice the support the
00:21:09EU for Zelinski, clearly there's a row between the
00:21:12Ukrainian leader and President Donald Trump, their
00:21:16relationship was always rocky even once Trump got elected for his. in
00:21:20terms i came to the white house and that meeting got very
00:21:23tense and since then they've had some ups and downs, but of course
00:21:27now the big elephant in the room is the newuh diesel
00:21:31deal with Russia and Russia has now uh committed to
00:21:35supply uh the United States with extra diesel
00:21:39after Trump's call with President Vladimir Putin
00:21:42so uh with with that bearing that in mind and the
00:21:46elections coming and the high gas prices and the pressure. on the
00:21:50Republican Party and President Donald Trump,
00:21:53um, the president's thinking about lot of different factors
00:21:57here, including the elections, and Ukrainian
00:22:01strikes on Russian oil infrastructure is only going to bring
00:22:05oil prices up, so uh, the president wants to
00:22:09avoid that, but what's happening today is another
00:22:12surreal turn of events, uh, what's the strategy here?
00:22:16it could be wishful thinking, right, president Trump the
00:22:20ceasefire, but he comes out and announces a ceasefire that's
00:22:24news to Ukraine's president, the same president
00:22:28that President Donald Trump called to be replaced
00:22:31yesterday, which was also a very, very
00:22:34surprising and surreal turn of events, and now the EU's
00:22:38backing Ukraine's president and meanwhile
00:22:42president Donald Trump here in Washington is making
00:22:46announcements that the other parties haven't even commented on and that's...
00:22:50the current situation here in Washington DC:
00:22:54Ukrainian territory an eventual
00:22:55ceasefire. Right now, the
00:22:59the real estate issue is about
00:23:0220% of Dunetsk,
00:23:05which is the Luhansk, Ollas, Donetsobras, these
00:23:08are like like provinces, and it makes up the
00:23:12Dunbas and the Russian Federation has been saying, we
00:23:16want that remaining 20% that we have not yet.
00:23:20taken, Ukraine is saying, we're not giving you something that
00:23:24you haven't militarily taken. One
00:23:28proposal that's been around for now nearing three years
00:23:31is for Ukraine to move the
00:23:34border of Dunetsk to where the
00:23:38Russian army is, and in that
00:23:41way President Putin can claim he has
00:23:44100%, and Ukraine is retaining its
00:23:48territory, but not giving anything. that Russia has taken,
00:23:51so there is a
00:23:54solution, the challenge as you talked
00:23:57about,
00:23:59with with respect to reputation in the US, president Trump is
00:24:03a day-to-day guy, he's not necessarily a
00:24:07week to week guy, a month to month guy, year to year
00:24:10guy, and so he's looking at
00:24:13the next two years, 12 o'clock, January 20th,
00:24:162029, his term finishes. between now
00:24:20and then he believes he is the most
00:24:24powerful individual on the planet and that
00:24:28he can do what he wants, and eventually people
00:24:32will come around to doing what he wants, but even if
00:24:35they don't
00:24:36do what he wants, he will declare victory and move to
00:24:40the next issue, and he has three
00:24:44tools, tariffs, sanctions and visa
00:24:47restrictions that are his goat. it's it's sort of his go-
00:24:51bag, it's his doctor's bag, he opens them up and he's going to throw
00:24:55them out like doctor would throw out aspirin, and these
00:24:58countries all know this, so you've got Russia and
00:25:02Ukraine looking, okay, how do we get through the next two
00:25:06years, and you have the European Union,
00:25:09NATO, you,
00:25:10the United Nations, regional actors, President
00:25:14Erdogan and Turquia, all trying to figure out how do
00:25:18we get through the next? two years with this guy
00:25:22where the the mid-term elections for our house
00:25:25and senate and our US congress or November the
00:25:283rd, likely the the Republican
00:25:32Party will lose the house, so the Democratic party take that,
00:25:36unsure the Senate, but President Trump is
00:25:40going to get more angry, because then in the US
00:25:44political discourse, they start talking about him as a lame
00:25:47duck, that's going to infuriate him, so he's... to keep doing more
00:25:51and more and we're going to see things like this where he just makes
00:25:54announcements and then he's going to coerse everybody
00:25:57to go along. the $100 billion dollars, if that is
00:26:01accurate number. that he wants to give back to to
00:26:04Russia, um, the're 320 billion, that's a third of it,
00:26:08that money was seized to pay for
00:26:12the damages that you that Russia has done to Ukraine, and now
00:26:16President Trump is saying, we want to give a third of it back to him,
00:26:20so this is this is going to get increasingly
00:26:23ugly, even if eventually there is some
00:26:27sort of a ceasefire with respect to the military component the
00:26:31war. Poland's police confirm and received information

00:28:00knife attack. We're
00:28:04seeing very grim trend towards violence. 10,000
00:28:08police officers will be ensuring safety in schools and of course we will
00:28:12continue our work in the coming days as well, so Monday will also be
00:28:16under such police supervision. Poland has also been on the

00:29:03Pakistan's president has declared a state of emergency and suspended the
00:29:07provincial government the northwestern khibar paktunkwah province.

00:29:41stronghold. The government says a surge in terrorist attacks
00:29:44left it with little choice. According to the Pakistan Institute for
00:29:48conflict and security studies, September saw the highest number of
00:29:52deadly attacks in 12 years as overall terror incidents

00:30:03southwestern province of Balochistan are the worst affected. The
00:30:07government blames the outlawed Pakistani taliban and Baloch
00:30:10militants with the search. The federal government has accused the province of
00:30:14failing implement its counter terrorism policy. PTI has
00:30:18instead advocated talks with the Pakistani
00:30:20Taliban. So what are we supposed to do? Do you
00:30:24want to keep playing this game of yours again and again and make Pakistan completely helpless and
00:30:28utterly devastated? That will not happen. The law will follow its own course.
00:30:32and every remedy will be pursued, godwilling, I will not allow this to
00:30:36happen, and you also fully understand, you will not allow it to
00:30:39happen. Soon after the announcement, shipping containers
