00:01:08of flights out of Saudi Arabia's capital are being cancelled after the
00:01:12of main airport came under attack for second day. One
00:01:16person was killed and 11 wounded in a Sunday afternoon
00:01:19attack which started fire
00:01:21in a terminal. The
00:01:23of Anantaralahuties from neighboring
00:01:24of Yemen are claiming responsibility. They say they were also behind a
00:01:28missile strike and King Khalid International Airport on
00:01:32Saturday,
00:01:33of which killed 13 and injured more than 300. Saudi Arabia
00:01:36says its air defenses have been intercepting missiles and drones in the
00:01:40southwest
00:01:41of the country near the border with Yemen and in the
00:01:44of east. Schools in Riyad have been closed for the week because
00:01:48of the danger. Meanwhile, Huti Run Media
00:01:52is reporting Saudi Arabia launch strikes on Sana
00:01:55International Airport and
00:01:57a residential home in the capital, killing a child and
00:02:00injuring six people, riad
00:02:03of has not confirmed the attacks. Iran's foreign
00:02:06minister has told the saudi counterpart Faisal bin firan al
00:02:10Saud that Tehran is ready to help facilitate dialogue between
00:02:14Saudi Arabia and Yemen's hoothies. Abbas Arakchi
00:02:18stressed there is no military solution to the crisis. He made
00:02:22the remarks
00:02:23in a phone call with Faisal bin Fadhahan on Sunday during which the

00:02:45assessment underway. It also reported new attack on Riyadh
00:02:49King Khalid airport that caused injuries after earlier
00:02:53attack killed 12 and wonded hundreds. Hothy
00:02:57spokesperson Yahya Saria later on. responsibility

00:03:22lefted, according to his words. Meanwhile, as operations
00:03:26Done of Yemen continues,
00:03:27of Yemen's government forces announced over. a thousand precise
00:03:31strikes against hothy fighters using warplanes,
00:03:35drones and artillery, neutralizing
00:03:37of hundreds of of
00:03:38of healthy fighters with advances
00:03:43of ongoing. Klass is a professor of history and international
00:03:46of affairs at the University of North Carolina. He says a deal to
00:03:50end the US-Iran war could help stop the hoothi attacks on Saudi
00:03:54Arabia. Iran clearly is
00:03:57of in favor of ending the Iran american war and I
00:04:01think that is would really bring a solution to the problem, you
00:04:05now if there was some sort of cease fire, some sort of armistus
00:04:08of organized between Israel, the United States and Iran which included the
00:04:12hootis, then I think all these attacks on Saudi Arabia would
00:04:16probably sease, and I think that is what Iran is aiming for in
00:04:20the last resort, of course the hootis are ally of Iran,
00:04:24they are
00:04:24of not acting independently, Iran may not be
00:04:28directing them, but they know very well what is going on, so the
00:04:32Iranian remarks which you
00:04:34of just quoted are a little cynical, they know what it
00:04:38is all about. the united states has run out of
00:04:41ammunition, they have really had
00:04:44significant damage to their basis in the in
00:04:48the whole gulf region because
00:04:50of of their war with Iran, and to
00:04:53support Saudi Arabia more actively will
00:04:57be very dangerous for the United. because the hoodis would of
00:05:01course respond, they would attack American ships and it
00:05:04of would deplete American weapons even more, and there actually is an
00:05:08agreement between the United States and the hootis, so the hootis have
00:05:11said there will... not attack American forces, American
00:05:15ships if the United States does not attack the hooties,
00:05:19and so far that has actually been observed by both sides. The
00:05:23sort is in my view have only two options, that is the option to
00:05:27actually talk to the hoodis and try to negotiate some sort of
00:05:30armistice, and of course that would include that the sorry
00:05:34offensive in Yemen against the Huutis and it support the
00:05:38internationally recognized Germany government would
00:05:41would stop. and or they have to push back
00:05:45militarily even more severely than they're trying to do at the
00:05:48moment, and both
00:05:51possibilities are not very promising right
00:05:54now. a shipping vessel has
00:05:57been engulfed in flames after hitting a naval mine in the straight
00:06:01of hormos. the tanker was carrying crude oil and try to get
00:06:05through the waterway after deactivating its navigation
00:06:08system. three tankers have hit mines and caught fire in the straight.
00:06:12since Saturday, that's according to Iran's revolutionary
00:06:16guard, which is also warned vessels disabling their navigation
00:06:19systems will be regarded as hostile
00:06:22targets. President Voladimir Zelenski
00:06:26says Russia has attacked Ukraine's energy facilities despite
00:06:30a truce announced by US President Donald Trump. Russian
00:06:34strikes hit the second largest city of Harkiv, killing six
00:06:37people and injuring nine on Sunday. Among the targets
00:06:41was heating. and power plant just hours earlier Trump
00:06:45said Moscow and Keev had agreed to stop targeting each other's energy
00:06:49infrastructure. He announced the deal on social media without sharing
00:06:52details. Zelenski at first expressed surprise at the deal but
00:06:56said keive would comply if Moscot did the same. It comes days
00:07:00after Trump said he'd struck deal with the Russian president to buy large
00:07:04quantities of
00:07:05diesel.
00:07:12It's important that it becomes a reality, Ukraine is ready
00:07:16to refrain from striking Russian energy facilities,
00:07:20and we expect Russia to show the same
00:07:22readiness. Aaron Doolu has more on the
00:07:26story from Washington DC. Trump made this announcement
00:07:30on truth social, but the two parties, not only
00:07:33Ukraine, Russia as well, have not made a comment on this announcement yet,
00:07:37Russia hasn't made a comment and Ukraine Zelinsky has said that he's
00:07:41surprised but he would welcome. a cease fire meanwhile uh
00:07:45urssel of underline the EU came out and voiced her
00:07:48support for Zelinski voice the support the EU for
00:07:52Zelinski. Clearly there's a row between the Ukrainian
00:07:55leader and President Donald Trump. Uh, their relationship was
00:07:59always rocky even once Trump got elected for his second term. Zelinski
00:08:03came to the White House and that meeting got very tense, and
00:08:07since then they've had some ups and downs, but of course now the big elephant in
00:08:11the room. is the new uh diesel deal with Russia and
00:08:15Russia has now uh committed to supply uh
00:08:19the United States with extra diesel after Trump's call with
00:08:23President Vladimir Putin so uh with that
00:08:27bearing that in mind and the elections coming and the high gas
00:08:31prices and the pressure on the Republican Party and President Donald
00:08:35Trump um the president's thinking about lot of
00:08:39different factors here including the election.
00:08:43and ukrainian strikes on Russian oil infrastructure is only going
00:08:47to bring oil prices up, so uh the president
00:08:51wants to avoid that, but what's happening today is
00:08:54another surreal turn of events, what's the
00:08:58strategy here? it could be wishful thinking right, president Trump wants
00:09:02a cease fire, but he comes out and announces a cease fire
00:09:06that's news to Ukraine's president, the same
00:09:09president that president Donald Trump called... to be replaced
00:09:13yesterday, which was also a very, very
00:09:17surprising and surreal turn of events, and now the EU's
00:09:21backing Ukraine's president and meanwhile
00:09:25president Donald Trump here in Washington is making
00:09:28announcements that the other parties haven't even commented on, and that's
00:09:32the current situation here in Washington DC.
00:09:36Israel's military is continuing to expand its so-called yellow
00:09:40line in the east of Gaza City. The line divides the
00:09:43enclave into two zones, an eastern area under Israeli
00:09:47military oversight, and a western area where Palestinians can
00:09:50move with fewer restrictions, but military vehicles advanced
00:09:54beyond their existing positions in the Shuja neighborhood under
00:09:58cover of heavy gunfire and shelling. The UN says almost
00:10:02two-thirds the strip is inaccessible to Palestinians or subject to
00:10:06severe restrictions. Zanab Chodrey is the national
00:10:09spokesperson and Maryland Director for the Council. American Islamic
00:10:13relations, she says there's a dangerous disconnect between the terms the
00:10:17Gaza cease fire and the reality facing
00:10:20Palestinians. The blanket of
00:10:24punity that the Israeli. government has enjoyed from these United States and
00:10:27from other western powers that have enabled it to continue its
00:10:31expansion the yellow line is a gross violation the
00:10:35terms the negotiated ceasefire uh and this is what we're seeing is a
00:10:39dangerous contradiction between the terms the cease fire and the
00:10:43reality of Palestinian's lived experiences. Obviously three years of
00:10:47genocide later, the reality the circumstances are
00:10:50horrific for Palestinians on the ground, especially with winter approaching as we
00:10:54heard. um beyond just the elements obviously um
00:10:57the agreement itself calls for military operations to be suspended pending a
00:11:01staged withdraw and expanding that military control
00:11:05and advancing that yellow line,
00:11:07it directly contradicts what the requirements are to freeze the battle lines. more and
00:11:11more people are starting to pay attention
00:11:13as there is increasing global pressure for
00:11:15the Israeli government to
00:11:16take action and for the Israeli people to speak
00:11:19up um Israeli prominent israeli human rights organizations like Betsalem have long
00:11:23documented Israel's uh illegal occupation of Palestine, burtal and
00:11:27humane treatment of Palestinians and specifically since October
00:11:317th, the impact
00:11:33the genocide on the Palestinian people, and we see accounts here and
00:11:36there the impact of this growing awakeness uh amongst
00:11:40many Israelis who are starting to recognize the fact that their government um is
00:11:44engaged in these horrific crimes and unfortunately there is
00:11:48obviously the continued crackdown uh on Israelis who are trying to
00:11:52speak up and who are trying to um hold their own government. accountable, I think the
00:11:56elections are going to be very um a big turning point for the
00:12:00Israeli people and for the Israeli government, but right now, especially with
00:12:03winter approaching and the fact that the yellow line continues to be
00:12:07expanded illegally against the terms the agreed upon seas fire
00:12:11that was negotiated, unfortunately it continues to put
00:12:15Palestinians in very tenuous
00:12:17situation. Palestinian
00:12:21farmers in the occupied west bank abowing to defend their... from
00:12:25illegal Israeli settlers who stole half their harvest and some
00:12:29farming equipment on Sunday. The farmers in India
00:12:33brud tried to harvest their olives but only managed to fill 15
00:12:36bags before being pushed back by Israeli forces who
00:12:40fired stun grenades. Muhammad Al1 has the
00:12:43story. It's their
00:12:47land, their farms and their olives. Yeah, the
00:12:50Palestinian farmers face a brutal battle every autumn
00:12:54to ' them under the shadow of Israels and illegal
00:12:58occupation, together, the residents of village in the
00:13:02occupied west bank set out on Sunday to harvest their olive
00:13:06trees, keeping alive a tradition known as
00:13:09Alona, where people help each other pick the
00:13:12crop. another reason for this unity is to protect their
00:13:16land from illegal Israeli settlers who have taken over large
00:13:20areas. Israel has declared the area a closed military zone,
00:13:24preventing Palestinians from accessing their own land, for
00:13:28this land owner, even trying to access his property could
00:13:32lead to arrest, he has chosen not to show his
00:13:35face feeling
00:13:37detention. We have come to
00:13:40harvest our own olives, these are our village trees inherited from our
00:13:44fathers and grandfathers. Thank God, our spirits are high because we are
00:13:48standing on our own land, we are not here to steal or harm
00:13:51anyone, they are the ones coming to us stealing our harvest.
00:13:56residence had been on their land for just an hour when illegal settlers
00:13:59attacked, minutes later Israeli forces arrived, the
00:14:03head the village council could only watch as residents were forced
00:14:07to leave for their own safety, illegal
00:14:11sattlers ramped the village council's vehicle, forcing it
00:14:15off the road, attacked residents and tried to run people
00:14:18over, they then trave stones at olive pickers from higher
00:14:22ground while Israeli forces fire. stunt
00:14:25grenades at the Palestinians. Illegal settlers
00:14:29were seen cutting away the stolen olive harvest and heading towards
00:14:33the top the mountain they had previously taken
00:14:37over. The Palestinians have been forced to leave, but they remain
00:14:41determined to retain and harvest their olives. What happened here
00:14:44reflects a wider pattern across the occupied West bank where illegal settler
00:14:48violence continues escalate across the
00:14:52occupied West bank more than 10 attacks. are reported
00:14:55daily with illegal settler stealing olive harvests in front
00:14:59their owners and using equipment to speed up the
00:15:03process. according to the agricultural ministry,
00:15:07losses to palestinian's olive sector have exceeded
00:15:10157 million dollars since 2023
00:15:14with around 286, olive trees
00:15:18damaged in the west bank. the ministry fears these losses to
00:15:22rise as the harvest continue.
00:15:37out of southern Lebanon, that's despite a supposed
00:15:41truth, but in one village, residents are taking matters into their own
00:15:45hands, setting up a market to help local vendors and revive the
00:15:49spirit the community. Priyanka Navani
00:15:51reports.
00:15:55In southern Lebanon, war, destruction and losses of
00:15:59monumental proportion have given people every reason to live in
00:16:03agony, but at this newly inaugurated Saturday market in the southern
00:16:07village. agony is opposite to the spirit in
00:16:11the air. Instead, people have come from near and far to enjoy
00:16:14fresh food and other local products. Today I
00:16:18came to support my hometown and my region. We want to contribute to
00:16:22the success of this beautiful market. Initiatives like these give us
00:16:26hope and optimism, especially given the current
00:16:29circumstances. The initiative, which brings together dozens of vendors from
00:16:33across the region is only in its second week, but already authorities say...
00:16:37It's having massive success, we make this market
00:16:41and we hear from
00:16:44people, it's very good idea
00:16:48and excellent markets for
00:16:52all the people and for for and for the
00:16:55area. markets used to be common in the south, but the war
00:16:59has made large swaths the area a nogo zone. They're also
00:17:03especially helpful because so many traditional stores are still closed.
00:17:08"the reason the market is here because the surrounding town
00:17:11is insecure so the people cannot go over there plus the
00:17:15expenses of gas prices and so on, so we felt
00:17:19this an opportunity for the town and in the different town, the surrounding
00:17:23town to come and display their product, people, save
00:17:26money and basically bring some
00:17:29happiness, you know, bring the life again to the
00:17:33town, 85-year-old hails from a now is..."
00:17:37occupied border village says it's the first profit he's turned
00:17:41in months, thank god, i used to live very
00:17:45comfortably, but now we've gone back to zero, completely
00:17:49zero, at my age, 85 years old, i'm exhausted, i have
00:17:53to go out, work and sell things like this, i'm sorry, but i have
00:17:57no choice, what else can do, and most say it's not
00:18:01just about money, but perseverance, clearly something that
00:18:04ini is passed down through generation.
00:18:09I'm 14 years old, I saw carrots, fawa beans, corn on the
00:18:13car, I'm a son of this village, because this is village that has been through
00:18:17lot, my father stayed here and I'm staying here too, the joy being
00:18:21experienced at this market doesn't negate the continued harsh
00:18:24realities of people here, some 170 homes
00:18:28in have been bombed, and this village
00:18:32hosts some 100 families who have not yet been able to return
00:18:36to their own village. Still, people are
00:18:39resilient and are determined to continue building their
00:18:43lives back through initiatives just like this
00:18:46one. Southern
00:18:49Lebanon. In India, the opposition alliance will
00:18:53march towards the Supreme Court in
00:18:55the coming hours to support the youth laid cockroach movement. There's
00:18:59increase security in the capital as bigger protes are expected.
00:19:03The proposed rally comes a day after leaders the cockroach movement were released
00:19:07from. tension, they vowed to continue their demonstrations calling for
00:19:11the resignation the election chief. political
00:19:14commentator says the Indian government appears
00:19:18unwilling to listen to the younger
00:19:19generation. the immediate
00:19:23trigger the controversy over the India's special
00:19:26intense revision of electoral roles where
00:19:30130 million names have been cut from
00:19:33the in the name the voter verification and
00:19:38and the protest eropt, the crackdown on the protest by the Delhi
00:19:41Police, remind us that how a government can
00:19:45become more authoritative where it cannot tolerate the
00:19:49protest anymore, is not ready to hear
00:19:52what the young generations and gens have
00:19:56in their mind, intensifying this kind of crackdown
00:20:00actually remind us lot of autocratic
00:20:03ruler, their behavior that has been happening around the world is... especially
00:20:07the neighboring countries of India in last couple of years,
00:20:10it is the largest democracy in the world, over billion people in terms of
00:20:14population, over billion people lives in India.
00:20:17now it's not just how democratic you
00:20:21think a country by its population, it has to be
00:20:25by its action as well. in last couple of years we have
00:20:29been looking at Narendra Modi's style of
00:20:33governance and how India is being branded in
00:20:36one real one almost like eeth state
00:20:40where minorities, attacks on minorities are
00:20:43highlighted. if you look at the last election in
00:20:47west bengal of India, you have been... saying that the
00:20:51same strategy was implied and there was
00:20:54accudition the minority voters being removed
00:20:58to secure the ruling party
00:21:00BJP's
00:21:02anonymous universal victory
00:21:06there, many analysts are now
00:21:09fearful that if Narendra Modi taken the same strategy
00:21:13and it just prolong its own
00:21:17Modi's role over the India by taking the voter list that
00:21:21only helps his party. Pakistan's
00:21:25president has declared a state of emergency and suspended the provincial
00:21:28government the caiba province a stronghold of
00:21:32jailed former prime minister Imran Khan. Kamran Yusuf

00:21:40The long running confrontation between Pakistan's federal government and the PTI

00:21:48President Asif Ali. signed the proclamation imposing emergency
00:21:52rule suspending the provincial government in imran khan's political
00:21:56stronghold. the government says a surge in terrorist attacks
00:21:59left it with little choice. according to the Pakistan Institute for
00:22:03conflict and security studies, September saw the highest number of
00:22:07deadly attacks in 12 years as overall terror
00:22:10incidents surged 52% in the first

00:22:25and Belch militants with the search. The federal government has accused the
00:22:29province of failing implement its counter terrorism policy.
00:22:32PTI has instead advocated talks with the Pakistani
00:22:35Taliban. So what are we supposed to do? Do you
00:22:39want to keep playing this game of yours again and again and make Pakistan completely helpless and
