00:00:10Saudi of Arabia promises to retaliate after Ansar allahuthi's
00:00:14attacks on airports as the Yemeni group claims its
00:00:18targeted Riyad in a fresh
00:00:19strike. Hello, welcome to TRT
00:00:23World Live from London. I'm Hasim Seaker also ahead on the
00:00:26program. The US Democratic Congresswoman.
00:00:30a accuses president Donald Trump a political
00:00:33intimidation after immigration agents raided her
00:00:36home. Ukrainian president Vuladimir
00:00:39Zelensky says it's increasingly clear Russia does not want a
00:00:43US proposed energy cease fire after strikes on six
00:00:47energy facilities. And a major cyber attack
00:00:51hit fridges and freezers in supermarkets across France,
00:00:55spoiling food estimated to be worth millions
00:00:58in of
00:00:58of dollars.
00:01:15of Hello, Yemen's ansarullah
00:01:19huti say they have launched a fresh attack in the past few hours
00:01:23targeting Riyadh's international airport
00:01:25of as well as base in the country south. Saudi Arabia
00:01:29confirmed that Khamis Musad base was targeted saying the
00:01:33danger has now passed. Saudi Arabia has vowed a
00:01:36strong response to recent houti attacks its capital's
00:01:40main international airport. It also
00:01:44extended the suspension of all flights to and from Riyad as the Houti
00:01:48step up their
00:01:49of attacks. At least 14 people were killed and more than 300 injured in the
00:01:53deadliest attacks so far on the Riyad International Airport over the
00:01:57weekend. The event of...
00:02:00weeks are serious, our response must be
00:02:04equally serious, energy security cannot be
00:02:07taken for granted. for Saudi
00:02:11Arabia, this circum
00:02:12this circumstances have tested our
00:02:16a infrastructure, our institution, our
00:02:20a people and our resilience, they have also
00:02:24tested decision made long before the present
00:02:27crisis. is a
00:02:31former
00:02:31of Saudi government advisor and a visiting senior fellow at King's
00:02:35College. He
00:02:36of says the Houti's motivations are clear. This
00:02:40is
00:02:40in a way the their only way to get back at Saudi
00:02:44Arabia and this is by attacking the civilian
00:02:47targets. What more, what more to make point for
00:02:51them is to hit um the airport or hit any other
00:02:55civilian building to have the uh,
00:02:58in to have the media, the global media. attention to it, but ultimately it
00:03:02doesn't really change the the
00:03:05sequencing on the ground. this is a word that has to happen
00:03:09unfortunately, they are, as you can see by their actions,
00:03:13they are a terrorist organization that allows
00:03:16themselves to do things that are completely out of international norm.
00:03:20last week they were, they
00:03:22of hit an electric generator in Medina, so
00:03:26it's just
00:03:27a more
00:03:27of the same, but they've they... very they
00:03:31have calculated well that hitting a civilian airport such
00:03:35as the one in riyad or the one in Damasmam the kingf
00:03:38airport would
00:03:40a make for enough international media attention to generate
00:03:44a form of embarrassment towards the Saudi government. the his have been hard
00:03:47of to defeat because they don't have the same responsibility, they don't have the same
00:03:50norms. youthi is movement that doesn't have the
00:03:54responsibility of a government, it just has the responsibility to keep building
00:03:58its missile
00:03:59or or its drone. capacity in this case and to keep its people in
00:04:02poverty and to claim that
00:04:04it is doing it for
00:04:09of a divine reason and being from a certain part of Yemen that's the northwestern part that's very
00:04:12mountainous they
00:04:14of unfortunately know how to dig in and live in caves and tunnels and what have
00:04:17you now this war is very different from the previous one because this
00:04:21war will most will with a high certainty will include ground
00:04:25forces which has never been which have never been interjected into the
00:04:29Yemini theatre. before and this is where
00:04:32of the the the balance will shift, because before it was based
00:04:36on yemeny ground forces with the
00:04:40of saudi
00:04:40and ally
00:04:42of support, which is happening as we speak today, but going
00:04:46forward, this clearly is not enough, and the yemini
00:04:49factions need the support of what is known
00:04:53as a joint forces command formations coming from other countries in
00:04:57order to be able to keep pushing upwards. and removing
00:05:01uh thehies from the
00:05:03a newly from the newly conquered territories and the one that they've
00:05:05of conquered for the last decade. in
00:05:09Yemen, the government's military says it's targetted.
00:05:16which has been the scene of intense fighting between the two sides, there
00:05:20has also been heavy fighting in mad with yemeny government forces releasing
00:05:23footage, it says shows positions being
00:05:26targeted, the hoothies are warning the us not to enter the war
00:05:30in Yemen and issued a warning as well to employees of Saudi oil
00:05:34facilities and
00:05:35airports.
00:05:39US becomes
00:05:40if involved the
00:05:40in the aggression deliberate over the decision to respond, rather
00:05:44there will be a swift and painful response targeting the US and all its
00:05:48interests in the region, wherever we can reach them. we warn all
00:05:52employees and workers at Saudi oil facilities and airports to stay away
00:05:56from these sites, as they have become legitimate targets for Yemen,
00:05:59particularly as the situation is heading towards a full-scale
00:06:02escalation.
00:06:07in Sana has the latest on the fighting across the
00:06:09country. we are talking about about that we are having
00:06:13two narrations that the hotis say they have carried out or
00:06:17started or resumed this these operations or attacks
00:06:21by the hoothies on on Saudi Arabia's vessels and also
00:06:25continue to escalate
00:06:27to towards the seaports and now we are having this
00:06:31newly developmentts in on their attacks in
00:06:34on the airports of Riyadh and different
00:06:38airports in in Saudi Arabia's kingdom so far the
00:06:42the houthies saying that they have escalated in order to
00:06:45put more pression Saudi Arabia to uh to lift its blockade
00:06:49and also to to allow yemanes to benefit from their
00:06:53wealth and to allow also yemenes to start to
00:06:57resume talks to to go back to the negotiating table
00:07:00the
00:07:01hothies leader known
00:07:03as his latest
00:07:07speech he mentioned that the they are they are
00:07:11not to go going
00:07:12to uh abandoned their what he described as their legitimate demands and
00:07:16they will continue whatsoever are the consequences until their
00:07:20demands are met so far the on the other side we are talking about the Saudi
00:07:24Arabia's official who talked about that the the the
00:07:27security of energy is something could is
00:07:31is not couldn't be bargal which could be
00:07:35described as this way so the are both sides
00:07:39are demand to continue this war we what? we are having on the
00:07:43ground that the continuation the first battles in the around the city of
00:07:46tas, especially that the internationally recognized government spokes
00:07:50person mentioned that they have carried out nearly
00:07:531,800 operations
00:07:56on
00:07:57the south
00:07:58on the houthies. Iran has offered
00:08:01to facilitate talks between Saudi Arabia and these,
00:08:05it also called for a political solution to the
00:08:08conflict. The... Yemen
00:08:12issue should have been resolved a long time ago through the same agreement reached between the
00:08:16Yemenies and Saudi Arabia. You know that road map had been agreed upon between
00:08:20Yemen and Saudi Arabia and we had also stressed that we support the
00:08:24implementation of whatever understanding had been reached between
00:08:27them.
00:08:30Reza hatami has more from Tehran. Well, Iran has great
00:08:34influence over Yamen's hoothies. Tehran doesn't deny that
00:08:38Yemen suthies are it's alah. Iran doesn't deny that
00:08:42it has. provided yemensuties with support, economic
00:08:45support, diplomatic support and military support at certain times,
00:08:49but aran insis that Yemen's Hothies make their own decisions
00:08:53and the decisions that Hutis make are
00:08:56not made by Tehran and they they make independent
00:09:00decisions, so Iran is offering to
00:09:04help, on Sunday evening, Iran's foreign minister Abbas
00:09:08Araqchi had a phone conversation with his Saudi canterpart Faisal bin
00:09:12Farhan. so despite height and tensions between the two countries, between
00:09:15Iran and Saudi Arabia, these two regional rivals
00:09:19continue to have diplomatic engagements at
00:09:23high levels, this was the first phone conversation between
00:09:26the top diplomats since the Yemen
00:09:30war started. Iran says that the situation in
00:09:34the Arabian peninsula has no military
00:09:37solution. Tehran maintains that the only
00:09:41way to settle. This is through political means and Iran says that
00:09:45it is ready to facilitate talks between Saudi
00:09:48Arabia and between Yeman Southis. Iran says that war
00:09:52between the two countries between Yemansuthis and Saudi Arabia
00:09:56only serves Israeli interests. Tehran also
00:09:59says that road map for peace agreed by Yemeni
00:10:03waring factions back in 2022 that
00:10:06UN backed road map should be the basis for
00:10:10negotiations and for diplomacy. to settle this
00:10:13issue turkish president
00:10:17strongly condemns the attacks
00:10:20king international airport over the weekend he was speaking
00:10:24about the a joint defense agreement signed with Saudi Arabia and
00:10:28Pakistan. Erdovan said the work to establish a permanent
00:10:32institutional framework is
00:10:33continuing.
00:10:38We condemn in the strongest terms the attacks carried out by
00:10:41the hoothies on Saturday against King Khalid international airport
00:10:45in Riyadh. We ask Allah to have mercy on our brothers and
00:10:49sisters who passed away. stands with Saudi Arabia and its
00:10:53Saudi brothers in the face of these unlawful and inhumane
00:10:57attacks. We're continuing our efforts to establish the
00:11:00institutional framework for the joint defense agreement. We signed with
00:11:04Pakistan and Saudi Arabia on August 7, and we're
00:11:07advancing our defense cooperation along two main things:
00:11:11first, we're working toward the goals of collective defense and
00:11:15regional cooperation, second, we're taking the necessary
00:11:19steps to ensure this cooperation a
00:11:23permanent and functional. institutional framework, as is the
00:11:27case with NATO, activities under the joint defense agreement
00:11:31will be conducted in accordance with our national
00:11:33legislation. we are continuing our efforts to submit the
00:11:37agreement to our grand national assembly in the coming days to complete the
00:11:41domestic ratification
00:11:42process.
00:11:51US immigration officials rated the home of Somali bor
00:11:55Congresswoman Ilhan Omar in the early hours of
00:11:59Monday morning. Omar is democratic US representative of
00:12:02Minnesota and an outspoking critic of President
00:12:06Donald Trump. She said the raid was an act of intimidation and
00:12:10vowed not to be silenced. Investigation is thought to relate
00:12:14to Armar's immigration
00:12:15paperwork. President Trump spoke to
00:12:19reporters earlier about Omar's investigation and
00:12:23said this. "this appears to be the
00:12:26latest and certainly the most dramatic development in what has been a
00:12:30long-running investigation into Ilan
00:12:34Oma's immigration history and even her her
00:12:38overall family's history, including claim that she
00:12:42married her brother to get him into the United States, claim
00:12:45she's dismissed as a disgusting lie. this
00:12:49morning FBI agents sealed off the road where she lives here in
00:12:53Washington and..." was seen coming out of her
00:12:56house with various possessions including
00:13:00documents all part of this
00:13:03investigation uh now it's significant because in just
00:13:0722 days time Ilan Omar will be asking
00:13:11the people of Minnesota uh those within her
00:13:15district to vote for her to stay in Congress and the
00:13:19protocol usually in the United States is that the justice
00:13:22department does not carry out of operations like this
00:13:26within 60 days of an election, even
00:13:30if they believe that a crime has been committed,
00:13:33because they don't want to favor one side or the other, so obviously
00:13:37critics of this operation and supporters of
00:13:41Ilan Omar are saying that this is blatant election
00:13:45interference, she comes from a country
00:13:48that is a non-country
00:13:51and then she comes over here and she complains about our constitution. "I
00:13:55think she's a terrible person, but that's really up to
00:13:58the Dok. I have nothing to do.
00:14:02Israeli forces have launched a drone attack on refugee
00:14:05camp in South Gaza, killing two Palestinians.
00:14:09Paramedics say several people were wounded in the attack which struck near the city of
00:14:13Rafah. The refugee camp there shelters thousands of
00:14:16Palestinians have been displaced several times in Israel's three-year
00:14:20war, more than 74,000 have been killed with the
00:14:24toll. rising almost
00:14:26daily.
00:14:30Israel's military continues to expand its so-called yellow
00:14:33line in the east of Gaza City with more
00:14:37than 65% the strip now under
00:14:41Israeli army control. the line divides Gaza into two zones, an eastern
00:14:45area where Israeli forces remain deployed and prevent Palestinians from
00:14:48returning and a western area where more than two million
00:14:51Palestinians have been pushed and forced to live. under further
00:14:55restrictions. Abdul Wahaab Hamed reports from Gaza on
00:14:59how people are trying to make living near the yellow
00:15:02line. I am here in one the neighborhoods in
00:15:06eastern Gaza City. This area is very close
00:15:10to the Israely military controlled areas in Gaza
00:15:14known as yellow line. There in the background that
00:15:18whole area is under full Israeli military
00:15:21control. The yellow line determines how
00:15:25much of Gaza Palestinians here can actually live
00:15:28in. The problem is this line was supposed to
00:15:32stay frozen until full Israeli
00:15:35withdrawal from Gaza. and until
00:15:39Donald Trump Gaza piece plan moves
00:15:42on, the second phase the plan uh moves
00:15:46on, nothing of that happened, Netanyahu has described
00:15:50the foot print as 53% to
00:15:5460% control over Gaza, and now he is
00:15:57saying the next step is 70%
00:16:00control over the Palestinian coastal enclave,
00:16:04this is naif, he lives in distance. and
00:16:08has lost his home inside the Israeli military controlled
00:16:12areas in the gaza strip known as the yellow
00:16:14line. living very close to the line
00:16:18determines how much he close and other families in
00:16:22this neighborhood close to their homes, to their schools
00:16:25inside those areas. moving the line
00:16:29on means this family has to
00:16:33move with it. bullets are
00:16:36everywhere. we feel threatened all the time, we can't even
00:16:40sleep at night because of fear, our lives are very
00:16:43difficult. was injured
00:16:47by straight gun fire near the yellow line, the bullet is still
00:16:50lodged in my head, i'm
00:16:53in lot of pain and i'm still suffering from the
00:16:56injury, you can imagine what
00:17:00that means for families living in this
00:17:02neighborhood, they have been displaced many
00:17:06times again. and again they set up their
00:17:09tents, settle down, and suddenly
00:17:13they're told to move again.
00:17:17negotiations over Trump's Gaza piece plan, the second
00:17:21phase remains dead locked.
00:17:24with this expansion the yellow
00:17:27line, this means that the areas Israel control is
00:17:31getting bigger with only one single
00:17:34fact, less space forest. to
00:17:38live, Russia is
00:17:41continuing to attack Ukraine's energy facilities, that's despite the
00:17:45so-called energy cease fire declared by US president Donald
00:17:49Trump on Sunday. Russia's yet to comment on Trump's claim, but
00:17:52Ukrainian President Vuladimir Zelensky confirmed several gas
00:17:56facilities were hit since the ceasefire announcement. Paul
00:18:00Hawkins has more, a
00:18:04grocery store in Kakive.
00:18:11or what's left of it? the Russian missile killed three
00:18:14people. It's so hard to describe how a
00:18:18child was lying there, already covered up, and the father was running around
00:18:22her, crying and screaming. It's so terrifying, it's impossible to
00:18:26get through something like this. The thermal power plant
00:18:291 km away was also hit. I think that record
00:18:33was also meant for the thermal power plant, but it hit the civilians. "there
00:18:37are no military facilities there at all, nothing. 7
00:18:41and a half hours earlier, president Trump said both sides had agreed not to
00:18:45target energy
00:18:46infrastructure.
00:18:50well, we want to believe this. 10 minutes had passed since they promised they wouldn't target
00:18:54energy facilities, and there have already been five
00:18:56strikes. Ukraine says Russia has hit energy generating
00:19:00facilities more than 200 times in the past week, as part
00:19:04of renewed campaign before winter.
00:19:08"Neither country has confirmed any sort of deal to stop attacking power
00:19:12plants, but we are ready for an energy
00:19:16seasfire, we are ready for any mutual
00:19:19format, anything
00:19:21that is not one-sided. Ukraine is scratching
00:19:25its head. President Trump only signed off on more Russian sanctions less
00:19:29than a month ago, now he's waving them with high diesel prices and
00:19:33mid-term elections around the corner. Washington has also reported.
00:19:37threaten to reduce military and intelligence assistance if Ukraine
00:19:41continues striking Russian refineries. After some puzzling
00:19:45moves in recent days, Europe should stand up and act
00:19:48decisively. This must be a week
00:19:52of strengths. He was speaking at an EU foreign
00:19:56ministers meeting where strength appears to mean more
00:19:59sanctions. He will least close to 1,600
00:20:03assets and companies and persons. It's the largest list.
00:20:07Union has come, it could make it harder and more expensive for Russia to
00:20:11make its weapons, but analysts caution that sanctions alone haven't stop
00:20:15Russia so far. On Sunday after initially criticizing
00:20:19the deal, Vladimir Zelensky had President Trump say it's time for Ukraine to have
00:20:23new leader. Tell Putin, give us two
00:20:27months, 60 days of total cease
00:20:31fire, 60 days and we will organize
00:20:33elections. On Monday came the Russian rebute.
00:20:39"I do not think he deserves respite. We continue to achieve the goals the
00:20:43special military operation, some of which will be partly funded by
00:20:47American money as Trump seeks to achieve. his goals in next
00:20:51month's mid-term elections. Paul Hawkins, TRT
00:20:55World. I'm following the failure to
00:20:58agree on an energy infrastructure truce, Donald Trump has once
00:21:02again urged Ukraine and Russia to reach
00:21:05deal. All I know is that Zelinsky and
00:21:08Putin have to get together and end that ridiculous war. Uh, this
00:21:12month they lost 32,00 people in that war and
00:21:16it's ridiculous, so they have to get together and get it done. there is
00:21:20disaster. did
00:21:22you see the numbers that just came out this month? 32, mostly
00:21:26soldiers were killed, young people, 32, killed.
00:21:30that war has to be over with.
00:21:34in France, hundreds of supermarkets were hit by an unprecedented cyber
00:21:38attack that heated fridges and freezers up to 50 degrees
00:21:42celsius. fires and large scale food damage estimated to be
00:21:45worth millions of dollars has been reported, and some the country's biggest
00:21:49supermarket chains were hit in, including car 4, which said
00:21:5380 of its stores were affected. Peter Allen has
00:21:57more on this from Paris. It's an
00:22:00absolutely extraordinary event, something that has
00:22:04captured the imagination the French consumer in of course
00:22:08very negative way. I've just been getting lot of
00:22:11technical details about what happened through one the
00:22:15large supermarkets affected, and what actually
00:22:19happened... was that hackers managed to get through to
00:22:23an old software program which um
00:22:27affected around
00:22:30400 supermarkets, that's a significant number,
00:22:33yes there are 15, odd supermarkets across
00:22:37France, but 400, including many here in central
00:22:41Paris being hit in this way, is of course
00:22:45something of huge concern, what I'm hearing is that it was a
00:22:48Danish company called Danny Foss,
00:22:52which was regulating these temperatures independently,
00:22:56remotely from outside the supermarkets and their old
00:23:00software, they are arguing, was
00:23:03affected by these hackers, they are saying they accusing the
00:23:07supermarket of not updating their software to prevent an
00:23:11attack like this, they're saying it's a security problem, they told the
00:23:15supermarket how to deal with it because they feared attack like this, but
00:23:19the attack... happened on Sunday, lot of managers came in on
00:23:23Monday morning and they found anything up to half their stock completely
00:23:27ruined, millions of dollars worth of food
00:23:30ruined. Of course, food security is huge issue
00:23:34for any modern society, any ancient society as well, but particularly
00:23:38now when you have um uh fridges and
00:23:42freezers and the like which are so vulnerable to attack, these were
00:23:46vulnerable to attack and the hackers managed to get a prosecution.
00:23:50has been launched, prosecutors are trying to find out who is behind all
00:23:54that, there is already suspicion that Russians
00:23:58might be behind it, whenever there's a hacking incident here in France, they
00:24:02always blame the Russians, but of course they need the evidence to prove it,
00:24:05but huge huge concern here at the
00:24:07moment, thousands of people have marched
00:24:11towards India's supreme court, as widespread protests over
00:24:15alleged electoral fraud continue to rock the country,
00:24:19they want the election chief. to resign over what they say is the removal of
00:24:22130 million people from voting registers. nearly
00:24:26billion voters went to the polls in India's last general election in
00:24:292024. Mohammed Haji
00:24:32reports.
00:24:36It could be one the biggest political challenges India's government has
00:24:40faced in more than decade as new week brought a fresh wave
00:24:44of unrest. Despite security
00:24:48measures described as fortress. like in New Delhi, once
00:24:51again thousands of people marched through its
00:24:54streets, leading them in the front
00:24:58left seat the bus and fresh from his own detention was
00:25:02opposition leader Rahul Gandhi, and people are seeing the
00:25:06Narendra Modi is blocking the whole town, he is putting
00:25:0930,00, 40,00 police officers outside, for what, until
00:25:13the constitution is upheld until the election commissioner
00:25:17resigns, until the election system is...
00:25:52Protesters have been out almost daily this
00:25:55month, over the past three though, they say
00:25:58police have become more heavy-handed, thousands.
00:26:02of people were detained. They've also been blocked from the
00:26:06city's biggest protest sites. They're now calling on the
00:26:10government to let them in, and if it doesn't.
00:26:14If you don't give us date in the next 24 hours, then we will be
00:26:17compelled to give another call for a protest and we'll have no choice
00:26:21but to hit the streets. The electoral commission has
00:26:25denied favoring any party with the changes, saying deleted
00:26:29voters can reapply, while the ruling party. has
00:26:32accused the opposition of trying to destabilize India and
00:26:36seize power. It is the prime minister silence though, that
00:26:40many find deafining. All while protesters
00:26:44vow to raise their voices even louder, not
00:26:47just in New Delhi, but across the
00:26:50country. Mohamed Haji, TRT
00:26:53World. Bangladesh is
00:26:57preparing to bring its first nuclear power plant online,
00:27:01hoping ease. the persistent electricity shortage is there,
00:27:05the Russian built project has brought jobs and investment, but years of
00:27:09delays and concerns among some nearby residents have tempered
00:27:12those expectations. Unis demorol
00:27:14reports. Bangladesh's
00:27:18first nuclear power plant has yet to generate electricity,
00:27:22but in this nearby classroom, it's already sparking
00:27:25ambitions. My friends and I want to become
00:27:29scientists and we hope to work
00:27:31at the plant after graduating. in nuclear engineering, the $13
00:27:34billion rupe project promises major new reliable source of
00:27:38electricity for a country reliant on fossil fuels and struggling
00:27:42with frequent power cuts. once fully operational, its two reactors are
00:27:46expected to meet more than 10% of national electricity demand, a
00:27:50significant input for a country of almost 180 million
00:27:54people. plant management says the first reactor is scheduled to start up by
00:27:58the end of this year. built with Russia state nuclear company,
00:28:01Rosatom, the project has brought thousands of Russian workers and new
00:28:05business to the area, but the pandemic and sanctions on Russia have
00:28:08contributed to delays and for some neighbors anticipation is being
00:28:12tempered by concern.
00:28:16I am old now and I'm not afraid for my own life, because
00:28:20I feel I am nearing the end of my life,
00:28:24but I worry about my children and grand children, I want them to be
00:28:28safe, they need safety more than I
00:28:30do. say stringent safeguards incorporate
00:28:34lessons from previous nuclear accidents
00:28:38farmer shares some of her neighbors concerns, but power
00:28:41cuts make irrigating her land difficult.
00:28:45hope we get electricity for 24 hours without interruption as the
00:28:49plant is near my home. for bangladesh, the promise extends well
00:28:53beyond, reliable electricity can keep factories running,
00:28:56farms irrigated and homes lit after years of delays, the
00:29:00country is waiting for that to become part of the reality of everyday
00:29:03life. TRT
00:29:06World. Economic devastation and
00:29:09continued Israely attacks have kept many residents displaced from southern
00:29:13Lebanon. That's despite a supposed truth between the two countries, but in
00:29:17one village, people are taking matters into their own hands, setting
00:29:21up a market to help local vendors and revive the spirit the
00:29:25community.
00:29:30In southern Lebanon, war, destruction. and losses of
00:29:33monumental proportion have given people every reason to live in
00:29:37agony, but at this newly inaugurated Saturday market in the
00:29:41southern village of qufarsir, agony is opposite to the spirit
00:29:45in the air. Instead, people have come from near and far to enjoy
00:29:49fresh food and other local products. Today I
00:29:53came to support my hometown in my region. We want to contribute to
00:29:57the success of this beautiful market. Initiatives like these give
00:30:00us hope and optimism. especially given the current
00:30:03circumstances. The initiative, which brings together dozens of vendors from
00:30:07across the region, is only in its second week, but already authorities
00:30:11say it's having massive success. We make this
00:30:15market, and we
00:30:18hear from people, it's very good
00:30:22idea and excellent
00:30:26markets for all the people and for far and for
00:30:29the area. Markets used to be common. in the south, but the
00:30:33war has made large swaths the area a nogo zone.
00:30:37they're also especially helpful because so many traditional stores are
00:30:41still closed. the reason the market is here because
00:30:44the surrounding town is insecure so the people cannot go over
00:30:48there plus the expenses of uh the gas prices and so
00:30:52on. so we felt this an opportunity for the town and th the
00:30:56different town the surrounding town to come and display their product.
