00:15:33Imamate rule. In the south, Yemenis
00:15:36were fighting against British colonialism. In
00:15:40both cases, the goal was one: to liberate the Yemeni
00:15:43individual, restore the homeland, and build a national
00:15:47state. From Sana'a to Radfan, and from
00:15:50Taiz to Aden, the sacrifices of Yemenis intertwined
00:15:54and their forces united until the Imamate fell,
00:15:58and then independence was achieved, leading to Yemeni unity on May
00:16:031990. But history
00:16:06did not end with victory.
00:16:10The Yemeni people, who overthrew the Imamate and colonialism, are facing
00:16:13today a new project that targets the republic,
00:16:17the state, and national unity, and seeks to
00:16:20re-produce the Imamate ruling system in
00:16:24the form of a terrorist dynastic militia.
00:16:27On the occasion of the anniversary of the October 14th Revolution,
00:16:30we extend our congratulations to our Yemeni
00:16:34people and to our political leadership, represented by
00:16:37the President of the Presidential Leadership Council, Rashad
00:16:40Al-Alimi, and His Excellency the Prime Minister and His Excellency the Minister
00:16:43of Interior, Ibrahim Haydan, and all the people of our nation,
00:16:47and to the members of the Ministry of Interior primarily,
00:16:50my colleagues and brothers who
00:16:53are present today on various fighting
00:16:55fronts to confront the Houthi militias
00:16:59who are implementing the Iranian
00:17:02Persian project, if I may say so. So, to everyone,
00:17:06our congratulations on this occasion,
00:17:09and we sense the struggles
00:17:12of our people to wage this fateful
00:17:16battle with this, with this Iranian
00:17:19project to confront the Houthi militias
00:17:22who are implementing the Iranian
00:17:25Persian project, if I may say so. So, to
00:17:29everyone, we send our congratulations on this occasion,
00:17:33and we sense the struggles
00:17:36of our people to wage this fateful
00:17:41with this Iranian project by these
00:17:44Houthi militias, unfortunately.
00:17:47And in this occasion,
00:17:50we confirm to our people that the Ministry of Interior, primarily,
00:17:53along with all the people and the armed
00:17:57forces and all national
00:18:00this homeland, in loyalty to the martyrs of the October
00:18:04and September Revolutions, God willing.
00:18:07Of course, the October 14th Revolution
00:18:10in southern
00:18:12Yemen was an extension
00:18:15of struggles that lasted
00:18:19during the period of British
00:18:20colonialism
00:18:23that oppressed the south
00:18:26of the country for 129
00:18:28years. And this period
00:18:32spontaneous
00:18:36uprisings,
00:18:39including the uprising of Ben
00:18:42Abdad that occurred in
00:18:44Hadhramout
00:18:46in the mid-1930s
00:18:50century.
00:18:50These uprisings
00:18:54did not succeed due to the lack
00:18:57of maturity of the objective
00:19:00and subjective conditions for the revolution to take place.
00:19:04And in
00:19:081963 century,
00:19:12and after the conditions
00:19:14for the revolution matured
00:19:17as a result
00:19:20of
00:19:24what the struggling people
00:19:27faced in, I mean,
00:19:30not just in the south of the country, but also in the Arab world,
00:19:35the support
00:19:38that came at that stage after the July
00:19:4223rd Revolution in Egypt.
00:19:45And also, the October 14th
00:19:49Revolution was an extension of the September 26th
00:19:53Revolution that
00:19:56overthrew the priestly
00:20:01the north. And we are living these joyful days
00:20:04on the occasion of the glorious national
00:20:08holidays, the 64th
00:20:10anniversary of the September 26th Revolution and the 63rd
00:20:14anniversary of the October 14th
00:20:16Revolution. These revolutions
00:20:19that, after God Almighty, had the credit
00:20:22for liberating the Yemeni individual and for a dignified
00:20:25life and for establishing the republican system and uniting
00:20:29the Yemeni people. Today, history
00:20:34struggle with the Houthi terrorist militia
00:20:38and the mullahs' regime of Tehran, the first
00:20:40supporter and financier of this militia.
00:20:43The people, from north to south, all free people
00:20:47stand united today to confront this militia
00:20:50and to wage the battle of salvation that was announced
00:20:54by His Excellency the President of the Presidential Leadership Council, the Supreme
00:20:57Commander of the Armed Forces and Security, Dr. Rashad Muhammad
00:21:01Al-Alimi. The "Dawn of Yemen" operation will
00:21:05be the operation or the battle of salvation for
00:21:08this people from this malicious germ that
00:21:11has oppressed the homeland and
00:21:15the people for
00:21:19of time. And the Yemeni people are waging this struggle on
00:21:22the path of the rebellious ancestors, the early revolutionaries who
00:21:26wrote heroic epics.
00:21:28Certainly, the people will not stop, and all the free people of Yemen
00:21:31today have a solid will and an unwavering determination
00:21:35to move forward side by side with the armed forces
00:21:38and security in the battle of liberation and salvation. And this battle
00:21:41will achieve,
00:21:44God willing, the great victory that the Yemeni people aspire
00:21:47to, no matter how long it takes.
00:21:51October is an important milestone in the conscience
00:21:55of our ancient Yemeni people. It embodied the unity of purpose,
00:21:59the unity of goal, and the unity of common
00:22:01destiny in uprooting the roots of the Imamate and the Imamate tyranny in northern
00:22:07the hateful colonial rule in
00:22:10southern Yemen. So, the Yemenis got rid of
00:22:13and colonialism in these two revolutions.
00:22:16And the journey of today and the battle of today are an extension of these
00:22:19two, and it embodies the unity of purpose in getting rid of
00:22:23the remnants of these two revolutions, and the resistance
00:22:26is still ongoing until the roots of the Imamate and its remnants
00:22:30and its hateful remains that have oppressed
00:22:33our Yemeni people for many ages are uprooted.
00:22:49perpetual old continuous until the roots of the imamate are uprooted
00:22:52and its remnants and its hateful remains
00:22:55that have rested on the chests of our people
00:22:58the Yemenis for many ages
00:23:20moment, Yemen stands today on the threshold of
00:23:23a new phase. The call for general mobilization
00:23:26and the declaration of the Dawn of Yemen battle by the President of the Presidential
00:23:30Leadership Council constitute a decisive
00:23:33turning point in the path of restoring the state
00:23:36and its institutions.
00:23:38you to review the dimensions of this wide
00:23:42national and popular response, and the messages of mobilization
00:23:45and cohesion on the fronts of glory and aspirations
00:23:50towards achieving the security and stability of Greater Yemen.
00:24:06Before the September 26th Revolution, Yemen lived
00:24:10a different political reality between
00:24:14the north, the Imamate imposed
00:24:17discrimination between classes and monopolizing power and wealth
00:24:21and excluding society from political participation
00:24:24until the September 26th Revolution
00:24:27came to overthrow this racist rule and declare
00:24:30the establishment of the Republic, the army leadership announced the fall
00:24:34of the monarchy in Yemen and the establishment of the rule of the Yemen Arab
00:24:38Republic. In the south, Aden was suffering
00:24:41under the brutality of the oppressive British occupation since 1839,
00:24:45before it expanded through the system
00:24:48of protectorates and sultanates.
00:24:50Tyranny in the north and colonialism in the south were two
00:24:54different images of one reality.
00:24:57Yemen deprived of the modern
00:25:01national state and the right of its people to freedom, citizenship,
00:25:04and self-determination. From this bitter reality,
00:25:07the Yemeni national movement emerged, and attempts
00:25:11at change and resistance accumulated.
