00:21:23Will you still use TikTok for health information?
00:21:28For those life-threatening, more serious stuff,
00:21:31always go to a doctor, don't trust social media.
00:21:33Watch mindfully. Just don't believe what TikTok has to say.
00:21:36It's an app for entertainment.
00:21:41[Asha] After the break, a sneak peek into our undercor
00:21:44investigation at popular car dealerships.
00:21:47What you have here is a sort of a buffet of this direction.
00:21:51I want my money back.
00:22:00[woman] Coming soon, we're undercover.
00:22:04Putting popular car dealerships to the test. We're looking to buy a car.
00:22:07Are you getting that all-in price they promis?
00:22:10All dealers have an administration fee. In Toronto, it's mandatory.
00:22:13It has theft data in, so that's $5.95.
00:22:16We reveal the deceptive deals. Car dealers have too much influence
00:22:19in the oversight in their own industry. Don't get taken for a ride.
00:22:23This is 100% a scam. I want my money back.
00:22:27Watch Marketplace and pick up some tips and remove the charges.

00:22:46Hi there, Canada.
00:22:48Hi Siri,
00:22:51How are you holding up?
00:22:55It's been difficult to say the least.
00:22:59I intend to resign as party leader, as Prime Minister.
00:23:05The funny, not so funny thing about the
00:23:07world right now
00:23:09is the thing that can consume your thoughts
00:23:13is the thing you maybe didn't see coming.
00:23:17My favorite word? Tariff
00:23:20is going to be cracking down. Minimum 10% tariff on all
00:23:23imports. Some contracts are already getting cancelled.
00:23:26Facing a potential 25 or even 50% tariff on steel exports.
00:23:30We're already hearing about layoffs. Feeling the financial
00:23:33pain of Canada's 25% counter tariffs. He believes that
00:23:36Canadians would benefit greatly from becoming the 51st state
00:23:40when our sovereignty is threatened.
00:23:42You do what you can. He is trying to break us. So you have
00:23:46questions. How should Canadians be preparing for that next trip?
00:23:50What is your plan? How seriously are you taking
00:23:53this threat of 100% tariffs on foreign made films?
00:23:56A lot of questions. How is Hamilton bracing for tariff
00:24:00impact? When we talk about counter
00:24:02terrorists, do those affect you? How much does it cost to be
00:24:06patriotic when picking items at the grocery store?
00:24:09And while your elbows have been up, elbows up.
00:24:13For us, it's the sleeves rolled up.
00:24:16Because you need answers about your neighborhood, your world,
00:24:20your Canada,
00:24:22and what it means for all of us to say we are Canadian.
00:24:31Our journalists countrywide and all over the world are on the
00:24:34case.
00:24:36Do you think you're gonna have to close?
00:24:39I hate to think about that.
00:24:48I'm about 15 kilometers from the Russian border. Where are
00:24:51Canada's allies? Where are Canada's markets?
00:24:54What is this country's place on the planet?
00:24:57It's the uncertainty that's the
00:24:59this issue. What is the next thing to happen and what will
00:25:04it mean for all of us? We assume that it will be a
00:25:08difficult Rd. Canada. We got you and we are right there
00:25:12right beside you trying to make sense of it with you.

00:29:31To truly understand a news story, you need to connect with the people in the moment.
00:29:35Everybody's in panic mode, witnessing their struggles and

00:29:40I'm OK. This is really my last hurrah. Investigating and

00:29:56I'm Adrian Arseneau. This is the National Canada's newscast.
00:30:17OK, let's just cut right to it. By now, you've heard the warnings. An
00:30:20AI researcher warning the technology could, quote,
00:30:23kill us all within the next 10 years. Sounds like something
00:30:26that's not real, but I think it is frightening
00:30:29real. That is Jacob Coxon, who is also this Jacob Coxon
00:30:32who quit one of the foremost AI companies in the US because,
00:30:35he writes, the people building AI
00:30:37earnestly believe that it could kill us all by the end of the
00:30:40decade. You get what's called an intelligence explosion. The
00:30:44AI just gets smarter and smarter with no human involvement necessary.
00:30:48Even Coxon's former top boss has just resounded the alarm,
00:30:51with the heads of other top AI companies agreeing,
00:30:55at least in principle, that there needs to be some
