00:17:54Well, "Zang Minab" is a lesson that was added to our "Heavenly
00:17:57Gifts" textbook in one of the elementary school grades. In another
00:18:01grade, we added another lesson about the martyred leader.
00:18:04In the contemporary history lesson, we completely
00:18:08revised and rewrote one lesson in light of these developments.
00:18:11The 9th-grade defense readiness textbook underwent fundamental
00:18:14changes, because we felt that we are essentially in a situation where for national
00:18:18defense of our country, students
00:18:21need to actually acquire a different understanding and more and different
00:18:25skills. Well, these were part of those fundamental changes that
00:18:28occurred due to the war. Part of
00:18:31the changes were made in the designs on the back covers of textbooks,
00:18:35which were done with the cooperation of good designers
00:18:38and artists who had created good designs
00:18:41related to this event.

00:18:48This was the first part of the changes, which, God willing,
00:18:51will reach the students. The second part of the changes is the change in the curriculum

00:19:02stated, this is the most important and main transformative
00:19:06project of the Ministry of Education.
00:19:16This year, we had this change in only 8 schools last year. This year, God willing, in 200
00:19:20schools across the country, we will see changes in the curriculum and
00:19:23textbooks of the first grade. You know that changing
00:19:27textbooks is actually part of a larger change in the entire
00:19:30school curriculum. Well, this school
00:19:33curriculum has actually been prepared and has many
00:19:37features. One of them is the change in textbooks. One thing that is more important
00:19:40is that we have divided the entire school time into two
00:19:44parts: classroom activities, or this classroom time, and
00:19:47extracurricular activities. Extracurricular activities have been formalized in
00:19:51the curriculum, and it's not like students just want to
00:19:55learn a set of contents and concepts
00:19:58purely conceptually and theoretically. What do
00:20:01activities outside the classroom include? Do they take place inside
