00:06:58visit to Ma'an Governorate during

00:07:08today in this dear governorate

00:07:14and our pride in Ma'an.
00:07:17Last year, the Council of Ministers
00:07:21met in this governorate
00:07:23and we agreed on a detailed
00:07:26program
00:07:30program is implemented over three years with specific funding,
00:07:34and I think
00:07:36this was an agreement and a covenant between us that
00:07:39we would implement it on schedule and within
00:07:42its allocations, and we are continuing to do so. We also

00:09:37incentives for the development
00:09:39zone.
00:09:42Land prices dropped by 50%.
00:09:46We lowered electricity by about 75%
00:09:49for the first two years. Incentives provided

00:09:59new interest in this area,

00:10:22Ma'an's economy.
00:10:25Today, Aqaba has many priorities
00:10:29and ports. Rail transport,
00:10:33God willing, soon
00:10:36the foundation stone will be laid
00:10:39for the Aqaba-Shadiyeh Ma'an railway
00:10:42line. Because the railway
00:10:45line that reaches Ma'an will be a cornerstone
00:10:49for the Ma'an Dry Port. So connecting
00:10:52Aqaba with industry in Ma'an,
00:10:56with railways in Ma'an, and its logistics,
00:10:58and transporting all matters that can be transported to Ma'an
00:11:02logistically, including customs,
00:11:05is a fundamental issue that will provide
00:11:09us with an integrated component
00:11:11for the Ma'an Dry Port and the Ma'an Development
00:11:14Zone. In addition to that, we have now begun
00:11:18studying the connection
00:11:20of the Karama Safawi
00:11:23Azraq Al-Jafr Ma'an
00:11:27land route to connect Ma'an directly
00:11:30and more efficiently with Iraq. This

00:12:11on them. I visited many schools in Ma'an and we improved some of them,
00:12:14and we will continue to improve others.

00:12:46Prime Minister Dr. Jaafar Hassan had
00:12:50laid the foundation stone for the project to deliver natural gas to Al-Rawda
00:12:53Industrial City. At a cost of approximately 10 million

00:13:00of Ma'an Government Hospital, at a cost

00:13:08A new step on the path to strengthening investment and supporting the industrial
00:13:12sector in Ma'an Governorate was represented by the laying
00:13:15of the foundation stone by Prime Minister Dr. Jaafar Hassan for the project
00:13:19to deliver natural gas to Al-Rawda Industrial City,
00:13:22which is part of Ma'an Development Zone. At a cost
00:13:25of approximately 10 million dinars and funded by an Emirati
00:13:29grant provided by the Abu Dhabi Fund
00:13:32for Development. The project is expected to be completed within
00:13:3518 months, as part of a grant with a total
00:13:39value of approximately 50 million dinars
00:13:42allocated to support projects to supply industrial cities with natural
00:13:46gas in a number of governorates of the Kingdom.
00:13:49The project is expected to contribute to reducing energy
00:13:52costs for industries by percentages ranging
00:13:58from, which enhances the competitiveness of industrial establishments
00:14:02and supports opportunities for expansion and investment. The project
00:14:05enhances the strategic
00:14:09position of Al-Rawda Industrial City, in addition

00:14:49are 138 projects that have been approved, and the completion
00:14:52rate of these projects exceeded 81%, and this

00:15:50of two new projects in King Hussein Development Zone
00:15:54in Mafraq and Zarqa. In the health
00:15:57sector, the Prime Minister inaugurated the new expansion project
00:16:01of Ma'an Government Hospital, which includes an outpatient
00:16:05clinics building and a blood bank covering an area exceeding
00:16:085,000 square meters, at a cost
00:16:11of approximately five million dinars. The new
00:16:14expansion aims to improve the level of medical services
00:16:18provided to the people of the governorate

00:19:09zone covering an area of 13,000 dunams owned by the State
00:19:13Treasury in the eastern Abu Amoud
00:19:16area in Ma'an Governorate for the establishment of three
00:19:19strategic industrial projects to produce phosphoric
00:19:22acid, pure phosphoric acid,
00:19:25and sulfuric acid, with
00:19:28the Jordanian Phosphate Mines Company being the main developer
00:19:31of this area. There was also an approval for the Ministry
00:19:35of Labor to apply a support mechanism.
00:19:38The productive branches program, what
00:19:41does this mean? This is the operation of local businesses in the Al-Rawda
00:19:45Industrial Zone in the development zone in Ma'an

00:22:25of staff and infrastructure. From
00:22:28hospitals to health centers, the health sector has witnessed
00:22:32significant expansion in health services and facilities in all
00:22:35governorates of the Kingdom over the past two years.
00:22:38In the north of the Kingdom, Princess Basma Hospital
00:22:41was opened and developed with a capacity of 504
00:22:45beds, while the first phase of the expansion and modernization of Princess
00:22:49Iman Government Hospital was completed within seven months. In Madaba
00:22:52Governorate, the implementation of the new hospital project began after about 10
00:22:56years of delay, while an open heart surgery department
00:23:00was established and equipped at Zarqa Hospital. In the field
00:23:03of healthcare, the Ra'aya program for providing
00:23:07cancer treatment came into effect at the beginning of this year,

00:23:46facilities. The Ministry of Health
00:23:50is working to develop services and enhance
00:23:53the ability to provide its services more effectively
00:23:56to citizens. Over the past two years, many
00:24:00affiliated with the Ministry of Health have been opened,
00:24:04which have helped and enabled the Ministry of Health to improve
00:24:07its services. The number of beds increased by
