00:00:01In just a few minutes we will continue monitoring the rainfall that
00:00:04continues to impact some areas of the central valley, also the mountain area,
00:00:07Bay Area, minutes, your complete
00:00:10forecast. Good evening and thank you for
00:00:14joining us this Halloween night, I'm Enrique Aníbal Gutiérrez.
00:00:18We start in Fairfield where a shooting at a Halloween costume store
00:00:21left one woman dead and six more people injured. Alicia
00:00:25Mireles gives us more information.
00:00:28I'm alive. "Don't worry, I'm fine,"
00:00:32he says, but I thought I wouldn't
00:00:35get out of there alive, that I would leave there dead," is the testimony of a
00:00:3915-year-old teenager in his grandmother's words after having
00:00:43survived the fatal shooting that occurred on Friday, October
00:00:4630, at a Spirit Halloween store in the Solano Town Center mall
00:00:50in Fairfield. The shooting left one woman dead,
00:00:53identified this Saturday by the Fairfield police as Constance Hage,
00:00:5731 years old, whose family reported that she was pregnant,
00:01:01which is pending forensic confirmation. Of the other six
00:01:04injured, four remained hospitalized in critical condition until the afternoon
00:01:08of October 31, one of them stable,
00:01:11while two had already been discharged. The ages of the injured
00:01:15range from 16 to 43 years old, while
00:01:18fear also reached those who worked in neighboring businesses.
00:01:22And then after I got home, my boss called me and
00:01:25told me that what we heard was a gunshot.
00:01:29And well, then I understood
00:01:32the request from the Donald Trump government everything, and then yes, I was in a state of shock. The
00:01:34Fairfield police also announced that they are investigating a possible
00:01:38targeted attack that may have involved a single
00:01:40suspect who remains at large and publicly unidentified.
00:01:44And while detectives review security videos, Spirit Halloween
00:01:48confirmed to us that they are cooperating with the authorities and will keep the
00:01:52store closed until further notice, because it's bad because in
00:01:56fact all the people bring children, there are families who come
00:02:00with children to buy everything to
00:02:03dress up, to have a good Halloween, and
00:02:06this happens. For its part, the administration of the Solano Town
00:02:10Center mall announced on its website that it would keep
00:02:13the mall open but canceled its children's Halloween
00:02:17celebration. Although commercial activity continues, for some
00:02:20workers returning does not mean regaining
00:02:23peace of mind. Yes, it's scary, yes, it's scary, even
00:02:26today many of my colleagues sent me messages saying they didn't want to
00:02:30go down because they feared for their safety. The authorities
00:02:33ask the community that has information about this incident
00:02:37to contact 707
00:02:394287600. For more news on Univision,
00:02:43Alicia Mireles. Many thanks to Alicia Mireles for that
00:02:46report. In other news, a man was shot and wounded during a
00:02:50shooting in Midtown Sacramento in the early hours of Saturday. This
00:02:53incident occurred near 21st and Kayak Alley
00:02:57shortly before 3 a.m. The victim was taken to a hospital and his
00:03:01of snow, but in the highest peaks of injuries are not life-threatening. Police arrested a 24-year-old
00:03:05suspect, identified as Jordan Tucker, who was booked
00:03:09into Sacramento County Jail. Meanwhile,
00:03:12everyone? I'm Freddy Zapata, the one ICE operations continue in the
00:03:14who accompanies you in the afternoons here on vicinity of Elmwood Correctional Facility in Milpitas. Federal
00:03:17agents have been waiting
00:03:20And basketball fans in the Bay outside this jail for people who are being released and
00:03:23immediately apprehend them. This has caused
00:03:26community members to try to protect immigrants and some moments of
00:03:30tension have arisen between observers and ICE agents.
00:03:34ice,
00:03:40The Santa Clara County Rapid Response Network reported that in the early hours
00:03:45the one who accompanies you in the afternoons here on of Saturday, several injuries were registered, including one
00:03:48who had to be taken to a hospital for treatment. The Rapid Response
00:03:51Network recommends that community members stay
00:03:55away from the area. There is a family
00:03:58in Hayward that was separated from their father, who was arrested by ICE agents
00:04:02in Modesto a few days ago. Nicole Santos spoke
00:04:05with family members, who are now seeking his freedom.
00:04:09More than 40 years living in California and a life built with
00:04:12his US-born children did not prevent this Hayward resident
00:04:16from being arrested by immigration agents. He was going to celebrate his
00:04:19birthday in Reno with his family and
00:04:23he had to spend it locked up in the ICE
00:04:26detention center. This father was arrested on October
00:04:3023, a day before his birthday, and is currently in a detention center
00:04:33in California City. In fact, when they stopped them,
00:04:37they asked why they were stopping him if he hadn't done anything
00:04:41wrong, and they told him not
00:04:44to ask questions and only
00:04:47afternoon since flooding of addressed my father. She assures that her father has no criminal
00:04:50record, however, more than 20 years ago her father had applied for
00:04:54political asylum, which was denied, and he received a deportation order. After voluntarily
00:04:57leaving, he returned to the country because at that time his children were
00:05:01minors, which is why they are calling on governmental leaders.
00:05:05We would like there to be something that would
00:05:08help our parents who
00:05:10only come to this country to work,
00:05:14to support their family. I spoke with immigration attorney
00:05:17Jorge Ríos, not affiliated with this case, who says the following about
00:05:21similar situations: "If it was only a voluntary
00:05:24departure on that occasion, then if they
00:05:28re-enter and immigration catches them, then
00:05:32they do have the right to fight a case before a
00:05:35judge, as if they were never deported, more than anything due to the
00:05:39legal impact of a
00:05:42voluntary departure to a deportation order," and in the search for a
00:05:46legal remedy he recommends the following: "The most important thing is to speak with an
00:05:49attorney and there will be times when there will be no options, that is also
00:05:53important because sometimes an attorney cannot
00:05:57work miracles, unfortunately we cannot change the laws, but
00:06:00we can let you know what your options are and speak to you with the
00:06:04truth and not give you false hopes." In the search for legal
00:06:07support, she and her sister shared with me that the rapid response network took on the
00:06:11case to explore.
00:06:18All our family, we are all very sad and we miss him very much
00:06:21and we feel
00:06:23incomplete.
00:06:27Again, local organizations urge anyone who has been affected by
00:06:30these recent immigration operations to contact the
00:06:34rapid response network. Nicole Santos on Univision.
00:06:37Many thanks to Nicole Santos for her report. A
00:06:40federal appeals court rejected
00:06:44to keep TPS protections suspended for thousands of Venezuelans.
00:06:48With this decision, and unless the Supreme Court intervenes again,
00:06:51immigration protections could be reinstated next November
00:06:546. The ruling indicates that the cancellation of the program exceeded
00:06:58the legal authority of the then Secretary of Homeland Security Kristjen
00:07:02Nielsen, and the legal dispute, however, continues.
00:07:05It's Halloween night, so let's go with
00:07:09Nayari to check the weather conditions. Good evening. And
00:07:13we're listening to you. How are you, Enrique? Happy night to you and all those who
00:07:16are with us at home. I hope you enjoyed your
00:07:20Halloween night. Yes, with a lot of precipitation
00:07:23towards the central valley. We have noticed that still for 12 o'clock at night
00:07:27or in the early morning, the precipitation will continue to be quite
00:07:30intense towards the north of the central valley, also the snowfall
00:07:34towards the mountain area, even at 1 AM towards the
00:07:38Bay Area, you will be noticing some light isolated
00:07:41showers as well. In the region, look how even for
00:07:454 AM we would be seeing precipitation towards
00:07:49Bakersfield, the mountain area, Bay Area in an isolated manner.
00:07:52Eventually after 11 AM
00:07:56the panorama will be improving, although in the mountains we could still
00:08:00be noticing some snowfall, that is why it still remains
00:08:03in effect until tomorrow Sunday 7 AM, this winter
00:08:07weather warning since accumulations are expected that could
00:08:10exceed 2 to 5 inches
00:08:14the mountains even up to 12 to 15 inches, so
00:08:18drive very carefully if you plan to visit the mountainous area. For
00:08:22my people in Bakersfield, your forecast looks like this, after the
00:08:25precipitation, for next week, more stable
00:08:28conditions, I have more information later.
00:08:32Thank you very much Nayari, we investigate how online predators
00:08:35operate and what parents can do to protect their
00:08:38children.
00:08:46Weekend of much celebration for the San Jose Earthquakes family,
00:08:50we will have the details a little later,
00:08:51adelante,
00:08:54what's up my people, I'm Freddy Zapata,
00:08:58Latinovix, Proposition 37
00:09:01reduces the costs of buying a home for the family,
00:09:0537 reduces the required down payment from
00:09:0920% to just 3%,
00:09:12low interest, also reduces your family's monthly
00:09:16expenses, low down payment, low monthly
00:09:20expenses, vote yes on Proposition
00:09:2337 so that buying a home is more
00:09:27accessible for our families.

00:10:29Ambiguous language is bad in a task and worse in a
00:10:32law. Proposition 40 allows politicians to
00:10:36expand the tax to anyone at any time, without
00:10:40voter approval. There are no controls or
00:10:43supervision. Most of the money can remain with health
00:10:46insurers instead of offices and
00:10:49clinics. We don't just teach subjects, we teach
00:10:52critical thinking. Join the governor, educators,
00:10:56doctors and unions in voting no on
00:10:5940. My name is Isel and I am a member
00:11:02services representative. They talk to me and the first thing they
00:11:06ask is, do you speak Spanish? And when I explain everything in Spanish, they
00:11:09feel super relaxed. I know it's
00:11:12complicated to understand insurance, I was there too,
00:11:15co-pays, deductibles, doctors, I know it's a bit
00:11:18complicated, but I love explaining it to others. If you have
00:11:22questions about your insurance, I'm here to
00:11:26help you.
00:11:29Hello, I'm your friend Glory Bella and I'll be here on Amor 100.3 from Monday to
00:11:33Saturday from 10 to
00:11:343.
00:11:37Thank you for staying with us, behind a screen someone may be hiding
00:11:41who seeks to gain the trust of a minor and the figures are
00:11:45worrying. In California alone, more than 238 thousand
00:11:48cases of possible child sexual exploitation on the Internet
00:11:51were reported. We investigate how predators operate
00:11:55online and what we can do to protect our children. Scarlet
00:11:58Galván presents this investigation and we warn you that this
00:12:02content may contain sensitive images for
00:12:05some.
00:12:08It can be anyone, it can
00:12:11be your neighbor, a firefighter, a police officer.
00:12:14We found a suspect who
00:12:18is watching child pornography, we are going to this person's house
00:12:22and we are going to look for the pornography.
00:13:07Online child predators
00:13:09approach minors in a warm,
00:13:13subtle, friendly way. The conversation
00:13:17didn't seem strange
00:13:21or inappropriate at first. Once there was a bit of trust, after
00:13:25a few days of sending messages, the conversation
00:13:27would start to get more inappropriate, and they
00:13:31do it through social media like Instagram, Snapchat, and
00:13:34others, Facebook. They also do it with
00:13:38video game platforms like Minecraft and Roblox, and in that
00:13:42digital world, predators find something that was once
00:13:45much more difficult, direct access to
00:13:48minors. Among ourselves as girls, if someone sends you a
00:13:51message, whether they are older or it's a compliment that
00:13:55they send you, you think it's something nice, not that someone
00:13:58tells you, "Oh, they're thinking of me," or "They think I'm
00:14:02pretty." The contact can gain ground until
00:14:06the minor lets their guard down. When a minor feels
00:14:10like that person is listening to them and accepting
00:14:12them, then they start to open up a little more and a little
00:14:16more and a little more. They want to take these children from a platform that is
00:14:20more public to a platform that is encrypted, right? That way
00:14:24we cannot record the communication between them and the
00:14:28children, and when they already have the children there on a
00:14:31more private and secret platform, that's when
00:14:35the grooming tactics begin, increasingly aggressive,
00:14:38increasingly manipulative. We have seen
00:14:42several abusers who are 60, 70 years old. When
00:14:46they are being abused by someone
00:14:49online, they are more secretive because something
00:14:53makes them feel that they are perhaps doing
00:14:55something bad, or the predator is telling them, "Don't tell your parents about
00:14:59our relationship." Most of these incidents happen when a parent is
00:15:02careless or working or sleeping. If I have a
00:15:06minor or one of my children under my care and I am giving them a phone, a
00:15:09gateway to the internet, and we simply don't care because we think
00:15:13it's a healthy, ideal, and entertaining world, and the truth is that the world
00:15:16is not like that, but the danger is not limited to social media, it also
00:15:20appears in online video games where thousands of minors
00:15:23interact every day with people they don't know.
00:15:27At 9 years old I started
00:15:30playing video games and at 12 years old I started using social
00:15:33networks, I have tried to keep up with programs
00:15:38like applications like Instagram or
00:15:41TikTok, although it's something that for me has not been
00:15:44that easy to learn, I have made it my goal to be more
00:15:48at the forefront in that aspect, I always have my accounts set to
00:15:52private, so when someone sends me a
00:15:54request
00:15:57to follow me, I always make sure that I know them first, personally,
00:16:00sometimes I get notifications from people that I say,
00:16:04I don't know this person.
00:16:07classifier predators under two categories, one
00:16:11is almost the collector where they will collect images or
00:16:14videos, they might have a large library, lots
00:16:18of hard drives, that sort of thing. the other one is a new term called sex
00:16:22torsion, those are ones that will typically pose as
00:16:26somebody else in order to get inappropriate image of a
00:16:29minor, in turn they will then ask them for money uh
00:16:33cuz once you send the photo there is no
00:16:36control of what happens to it.
00:16:41Nationally, child sexual exploitation on the Internet is
00:16:44in the millions. In 2025, NCMEC, by its
00:16:48acronym in English, received more than 1,400,000
00:16:51reports of possible sexual encounters with minors on
00:16:55the Internet, and among the states with the highest number of reports,
00:16:58Florida ranked third with nearly
00:17:01126,000 reports, Texas with more than
00:17:04234,000, and California ranks first with
00:17:08more than 238,000 reports. Knowing that
00:17:11there is a child in the world right here in Sacramento
00:17:15County who is being abused, that
00:17:18is the hardest thing. We found 148 children last
00:17:22year, right now more or less more than 100 children that we have
00:17:25found this year alone. This happens
00:17:28more than the public believes, it happens
00:17:31a lot. I have encountered
00:17:33teachers, coaches
00:17:38in soccer teams,
00:17:41unfortunately priests too.
00:17:44We contacted the main digital
00:17:47companies to find out how they respond to these
00:17:50cases. YouTube mentions having zero tolerance for
00:17:53predators and says it removes content or accounts that endanger
00:17:57minors. Between April and June of this year, it claims to have
00:18:01removed more than 7.6 million videos for violating its
00:18:05child safety policies.
00:18:08that children already know about, they themselves have
00:18:11experienced it or have friends who have experienced it. While
00:18:15authorities go after sexual predators, recognizing the warning
00:18:19signs and acting immediately can prevent another minor from becoming
00:18:23a victim. We are working every day, all
00:18:26week, every day, day and night and we are going to
00:18:30find them, keep doing this and we are going to find them
00:18:32for sure.
00:18:36Thanks to Scarlett Galván for this research
00:18:40to protect all our children from
00:18:43online predators. And now we return with Nayari NG to
00:18:47review how the rains will be in the coming days, so go ahead Nayari, we
00:18:50are listening to you. Enrique, that's right, the
00:18:54precipitation continues for the next few hours, but I wanted to start by talking about
00:18:58the time change. Remember that in just a few minutes we will be
00:19:01changing the time to standard time, that is to say, at 2 in the
00:19:05morning we go back one hour, so that clock becomes
00:19:091 in the morning again, so you can probably enjoy a little
00:19:12more of your Saturday night, Sunday morning so
00:19:15to speak, now we will continue monitoring the precipitation that
00:19:19continues to impact the central valley, also the mountain
00:19:23area, remember very dangerous conditions towards the mountain
00:19:26area also towards the central valley where a risk of
00:19:29flooding is forecast, specifically closer to the
00:19:33south of Bakersfield, Bay Area we will notice some very light
00:19:37precipitation. Very isolated, the greatest danger continues towards the mountain
00:19:40area and the central valley. Sacramento Valley,
00:19:43probably you will also be noticing some very isolated
00:19:46showers, probably in some areas you will not even be noticing that
00:19:50precipitation, but more cloudiness. As of tomorrow, the
00:19:53conditions will be improving and Sunday will be clearer, more
00:19:57pleasant and regarding the highest accumulations, they will
00:20:00be towards the central valley where they could exceed up to one
00:20:04inch specifically. closer to the mountain area and
00:20:08also towards the Sacramento Valley, Bay Area could reach
00:20:11up to a quarter of an inch of precipitation, add to that
00:20:15also the coastal floods that we have had, remember that the alert
00:20:19remains in effect until tomorrow Sunday until 6 in the
00:20:24up to one foot above ground level is expected towards San
00:20:28Pablo Bay, San Francisco Bay also Monterey Bay, so
00:20:32avoid those flooded areas and in fact for the next 6 to 10 days
00:20:36above average precipitation is forecast, so we need
00:20:40to take a look at how next week will be where
00:20:43we could have some isolated showers, enjoy Sunday
00:20:47afternoon when the conditions improve, the maximum
00:20:51temperatures in the range of 60 degrees, next
00:20:54few days for my people in Sacramento, some showers for Monday and the
00:20:58temperatures remain in the 60s for my
00:21:01people towards Fresno, remember to change the time
00:21:05also spectacular conditions for next week, lows in the
00:21:0850s and in the San Francisco area the isolated showers
00:21:12that we will be monitoring in the coming days.
00:21:15Thank you very much Nayari, and later we will take you to Mexico City
00:21:19where the final touches are being made for the great Day of the Dead
00:21:22parade.
00:21:25Turn on your radio on La Que Buena, besides I'll give you tickets for the best dances,
00:21:28jaripeos, spread the word. Three reasons to vote
00:21:32yes on Proposition 3. Proposition 3
00:21:35maintains vital funds for our
00:21:38schools. Proposition 3 does not raise
00:21:41taxes, it only maintains what the richest
00:21:442% of people already pay, and with strict
00:21:47accountability. Every dollar goes to
00:21:51our schools and not to the politicians in
00:21:54Sacramento. Let's protect our students, let's vote
00:21:57yes on Proposition
00:21:593.
00:22:02No, why not? And what if your Wi-Fi could detect
00:22:06all kinds of threats, including the boogeyman?
00:22:09Beto, is
00:22:11that you?
00:22:20Black Friday is here, secure your gig Wi-Fi price for 5 years with

00:22:31Becerra and I have dedicated my life to fighting for our rights. As
00:22:35Attorney General I sued Trump and we won. Today I'm fighting
00:22:38Trump again. He is interfering in our elections through
00:22:42his candidate and his Proposition 39. Our
00:22:45right to vote is sacred, so we must vote no on
00:22:4939. We will fight, we will win against
00:22:5239, we will not let Trump control our
00:22:56elections or our vote. Vote Becerra for
00:22:59governor. My name is Isel and I am a member
00:23:03services representative. They talk to me and the first thing they
00:23:06ask is, do you speak Spanish? And when I explain everything in Spanish, they
00:23:10feel super relaxed. I know it's complicated
00:23:14to understand insurance, I was there too, the
00:23:17co-pays, the deductibles, the doctors. Yes, I know it's a
00:23:21bit complicated, but I love explaining it to others. If you have
00:23:25questions about your insurance, I'm here to
00:23:27help you.
00:23:30Ambiguous language is bad in a task and worse in a

00:23:40voter approval. There are no controls or
00:23:43supervision. Most of the money can remain with health

00:23:57doctors, and unions in voting no on 40. How are you,
00:24:04Latinowix.
00:24:10Area are celebrating tonight. The Golden State
00:24:13Valkyries were crowned WNBA champions
00:24:17after defeating the Atlanta Dream 68-63
00:24:20in the seventh and decisive game. Led by Gave
00:24:23Williams, the Valkyries are champions in only their second year of existence, so
00:24:27congratulations, and meanwhile,
00:24:29Therefore, this Saturday the San José Earthquakes played their match early
00:24:33against Salt Lake, which by the way they won two to one. It was the last
00:24:37home game of the regular season and the fans of this team
00:24:40took advantage of the occasion to dress up, in
00:24:44anticipation of the Halloween festivity, we saw kids and adults showing off their
00:24:47best costumes from pirates,
00:24:51men riding dinosaurs and countless other characters to
00:24:54start this celebration early, but in the heart of the epicenter, the official
00:24:58cheerleading squad for the team set up their space around Day of the Dead, a
00:25:02huge tifo, banners, t-shirts, all this in
00:25:05reference to the Day of the Dead which is observed on November
00:25:082nd,
00:25:11and in Mexico City preparations are underway to also celebrate 10
00:25:15years of its grand Day of the Dead parade, it's a tradition that brings together
00:25:18art, culture, and tribute to Mexican roots.
00:25:22Behind this spectacle there are sculptors, painters,
00:25:25designers who work for weeks on the operation of enormous
00:25:29allegorical floats, this year the main figures are Emilio "El Indio"
00:25:33Fernández and Tin Tan representing with his famous
00:25:36song "El panadero con el pan", the parade
00:25:39will travel along Paseo de la Reforma from Chapultepec to the Zócalo
00:25:42capital. We'll
00:25:43be right back.
00:26:15prohibits politicians from imposing new taxes on your personal assets
00:26:19including your retirement and savings accounts and a
00:26:22yes vote on Proposition 42 protects your
00:26:25savings and retirement whether it's an IRA, 401k or

00:26:32small businesses and working families say

00:26:39and your savings. If you have both Medicare
00:26:43and Medicaid coverage from your state, Medicare's annual enrollment ends

00:27:35affordable coverage with a United Healthcare Dual
00:27:39Complete plan. Ambiguous language is bad in a
00:27:42task and worse in a law. Proposition
00:27:4540 allows politicians to expand the tax to anyone
00:27:49and at any time, without voter approval. There
00:27:53are no checks or oversight. Most
00:27:56of the money can remain with health insurers, instead
00:27:59of doctors' offices and clinics. We don't just teach.
00:28:10we will be at the scene of the news, immediate results, correspondents,

00:29:26judges, in several states across the country issue judicial rulings to
00:29:29prevent possible interference from the Trump administration in the

00:29:36determinations prohibits the federal government from threatening with
00:29:39legal proceedings against electoral

00:30:32an emergency order that prohibits the administration of President Trump

00:30:45ahead of next Tuesday's midterm elections.
00:30:48Ana María Cañizares from Washington tells us
