00:04:22experts believe that an accumulation of
00:04:24heart, soul and shocking images we've had so

00:05:16impressive: the jet crashed into the pavement where
00:05:19a huge crater surrounded by flames remained. Minutes before the
00:05:23accident, the pilot reported ice accumulation on the aircraft
00:05:26and turbulence. The situation deteriorated
00:05:29rapidly after encountering precipitation. The pilot
00:05:33declared an emergency when the aircraft began to lose altitude at an
00:05:37alarming rate. About 600 residents of the mobile home park
00:05:40near the point of impact were evacuated, let's
00:05:44listen to them, flames everywhere, pieces of
00:05:47metal,
00:05:50ah and pieces of human remains everywhere, we even found a baby's hand and all that,
00:05:54well, we feel right
00:05:56now eh devastated,
00:05:59imagine, we are here in a situation where we don't know what is
00:06:03going to happen because I have
00:06:06small children and and when we see that, well,
00:06:10ah very painful, the water that
00:06:14came out caught fire, the food truck that was there was
00:06:17burning, a deep
00:06:20hole, a lot of water and a lot of fire came out. There
00:06:24are no reports that anyone on the ground died, but the accident left a
00:06:28wide area covered in debris. The state governor
00:06:31Ron DeSantis said it was a catastrophic
00:06:34plane crash. He referred to the video as chilling, it was
00:06:38like a missile falling, a huge explosion, debris
00:06:41everywhere. Tuesday, he said, there is already an
00:06:45investigation underway to determine the causes of the accident, the National Transportation
00:06:48Safety Board has sent a team of
00:06:51investigators, yesterday, they said that today
00:06:54they will send another team of investigators and it is planned that there will be a
00:06:58press conference in the morning, we still don't have the exact
00:07:02time it will be, back to you in the studio,
00:07:05Sacha, Jennifer Santana, we thank you for informing us from the
00:07:09scene of this air tragedy in Palm Beach, Florida.
00:07:13And today is the last day of campaigning when more than 54 million
00:07:16people would have already cast their vote, a figure
00:07:20higher than the early vote in the past
00:07:22presidential elections. During this day, President Trump
00:07:26remains in Washington D.C., although he already reveals
00:07:29how he would govern if he loses the majority in Congress. Let's go
00:07:32live with Edwin Pity who tells us what his strategy would be
00:07:36and has reactions to the unexpected turn the
00:07:40Senate race takes in Michigan, where a Democratic
00:07:43congresswoman supports the Republican candidate. Edwin, good
00:07:47morning. Good morning to you, Sacha, now we can
00:07:50say that we are in the final stretch leading up to these midterm elections
00:07:54and it will be a very busy day for President Donald Trump, he is expected to give a speech at 2 p.m.,
00:07:58Eastern time here in the center of the political capital
00:08:02of the world, at the Lincoln Memorial, but
00:08:06from the White House he will be participating in nine
00:08:08political events that will be virtual, let's see. the
00:08:12report:
00:08:16With two political events in Iowa, Kansas, Donald Trump
00:08:20closed the weekend seeking to save the Republican majority in
00:08:23Congress, even in states where he won comfortably, his party
00:08:27faces more competitive races than expected.
00:08:39But the president already contemplates a defeat.
00:08:43What would he do if Democrats regain control of
00:08:46Congress?
00:08:55A warning that he would block Democratic laws, although he also left
00:08:59open the possibility of negotiating. And it is a resource that
00:09:02wears down, it is a resource that truly
00:09:05puts the president on the defensive. And this in
00:09:09the long run could, right.
00:09:13further reduce the support or the little support he
00:09:16has in the polls, meanwhile early
00:09:19turnout soars, according to the Associated Press, more than
00:09:2254 million
00:09:25Americans have already voted, increases have been seen in
00:09:28states where control of the Senate is disputed and in Michigan
00:09:32a political shift shakes Democrats.
00:09:34demócratas.
00:10:12and complicates a race that could define control of the
00:10:16Senate,
00:10:18Sacha, and among the resignations is who was Stevens' chief of staff for
00:10:228 years, he and other employees. They issued a
00:10:25statement inviting everyone who votes in Michigan to go out and vote for the
00:10:28Democrats, including the Senate candidate for that party
00:10:32Abdul El-Sayed, but there are many more reactions, briefly I will tell you about
00:10:36Chuck Schumer and Nancy Pelosi who classify this action by
00:10:39Stevens as a heartbreaking betrayal. I'll be back with you in the
00:10:43studio with more from Despierta América. Thank you for
00:10:46informing us live from Washington D.C. and we invite you to
00:10:50join us tomorrow, Tuesday, from coast to coast and follow our special
00:10:54coverage of these crucial midterm
00:10:56elections and we move on to the disputed Senate race
00:11:00in Alaska, it's that before starting the vote count, a federal
00:11:03judge dismisses the Department of Justice's
00:11:06lawsuit, which sought to block the certification of the
00:11:10election in case Republican Senator Dan
00:11:13Sullivan was defeated, this after his
00:11:16party denounced the registration of another candidate with the same name as
00:11:20a presumed maneuver to confuse voters, and in which the complaint
00:11:24was also made through an extensive report in the
00:11:28New York Times. As
00:11:31early as today, an ICE agent surrenders to justice after being accused of
00:11:35aggravated assault for running over a Mexican
00:11:38immigrant with his car in Texas.
00:11:42moment an ICE agent draws his weapon and points it at a
00:11:46bystander's face during the arrest of an immigrant in
00:11:49California. Let's go live to Los Angeles, Socorro Cruz is there with the
00:11:53images and also new information. Socorro, good morning,
00:11:57go ahead.
00:12:00Hello, Sasha, good morning, well, the images we are about to see have
00:12:04caused, of course, much indignation, they are
00:12:07alarming and disturbing and have also already provoked the
00:12:10reaction of leaders here in Los Angeles, see for yourselves, a
00:12:14masked federal agent pushes a man
00:12:17into some bushes and points a pistol at him just inches
00:12:21from his face, this Sasha happened in North Hollywood.
00:12:25According to the report, he was walking his dog when he witnessed the
00:12:29immigration arrest and according to authorities, he reacted and
00:12:32picked up a can of pepper spray during the
00:12:35operation. Mayor Karen Bass called what happened
00:12:39unacceptable and also called for an immediate investigation,
00:12:42let's quickly go to Lake Forest also here in California,
00:12:46this in Orange County, more images of tension between
00:12:51members, who denounce that the officers
00:12:55fired rubber bullets, even at a minor
00:12:59who would have been injured in the chest. Now,
00:13:02Sasha, according to the complaint, it was the agents themselves
00:13:06who called the local police and now let's go
00:13:09to Oregon where the ACLU filed a lawsuit
00:13:12over a video that allegedly shows an ICE agent
00:13:15slashing the tires of a vehicle
00:13:19of some people who were recording them, finally
00:13:22the Texas issue that the ICE agent
00:13:25Mario Alberto Morales, who faces aggravated assault
00:13:29charges, accused of running over Mexican immigrant
00:13:33Miguel Parra Hernández with his vehicle, when he
00:13:37was fleeing a traffic stop, well, the agent's lawyer
00:13:40claims it was an accident and that today, Monday,
00:13:44he will surrender to authorities, the Harris County prosecutor
00:13:47warned that carrying an ICE badge
00:13:51does not give the right to violate constitutional
00:13:55rights, we will continue to be very attentive, all this happens just
00:13:58hours before the polls open across the country, back to you,
00:14:02Socorro Cruz, we thank you for informing us live from Los
00:14:05Angeles. And millions of people are facing a
00:14:09new round of torrential rains caused by a storm system
00:14:13that is now moving eastward. Sudden
00:14:16floods are causing evacuations in Arizona and Colorado.
00:14:20Andrea León is live with images of surprising rescues
00:14:24and what... Many are wondering, will the force of nature
00:14:26affect voter turnout in the
00:14:29midterm elections? Andrea, good morning, we're listening to you.
00:14:33Good morning, Sacha, what is definite is that
00:14:36Arizona could receive the equivalent of two or three months of rain in just two
00:14:40days, Colorado is also under alert this Monday and the
00:14:44San Juan River is overflowing. Let's see the details and the
00:14:49far.
00:14:51At this hour, more than 7 million people in the Southwest are facing
00:14:55a new wave of dangerous flash floods
00:14:59caused by a storm system that is moving
00:15:02east, evacuation orders remain in two
00:15:06states, Arizona and Colorado. In Arizona, emergency
00:15:09teams faced a meteorological phenomenon over the weekend that led
00:15:13to several rescues in rising waters amidst a state of
00:15:17emergency. We have had four rescues
00:15:20ah that we have had to rescue people who are stranded,
00:15:24this morning. In the last two hours we have had
00:15:27five calls from people who are
00:15:30trapped in their cars, authorities warn that what may
00:15:34seem like a puddle on the road can become a death
00:15:37trap, it would be better not to leave home if you don't need to
00:15:41leave, respect the
00:15:44speed limits, respect the signs and also respect and
00:15:47take care of yourself and take care of the lives of others. These videos
00:15:50published on social media show the magnitude of the
00:15:53devastation. In the towns of Scottsdale and
00:15:57Phoenix, rescue teams have assisted motorists who
00:16:00were trapped in waters that reached their waist. In
00:16:03Sedona, a residential neighborhood
00:16:06was partially transformed into a river after the nearby
00:16:10Oak Creek overflowed.
00:16:13Throughout the state, several roads have been closed that were completely
00:16:17flooded. Meanwhile, in Colorado, the San
00:16:21Juan River forced the evacuation of the town of Pagosa Springs, just
00:16:25a week after devastating floods hit the
00:16:28same area. In both Arizona and Colorado, the waterways
00:16:32are overflowing. State
00:16:35authorities warned on social media about a catastrophic
00:16:39flood event, according to experts, water levels would have
00:16:42reached a height of approximately four feet
00:16:45higher than that recorded in the 1911
00:16:48flood that destroyed much of the
00:16:51city. Authorities are asking people to respect evacuation
00:16:55orders and advise never to try to cross a flooded road, even if it seems
00:16:59that the water is not deep. In Arizona, a traffic law allows
00:17:03drivers to be charged for the costs of their rescue if they ignore warnings
00:17:06and get trapped,
00:17:10Andrea León, we thank you for providing us with all this information
00:17:13and sharing live images. We are going to continue talking
00:17:16about this system and the impact it would have today. Our meteorologist
00:17:20Jessica Delgado is here to tell us where people should be
00:17:23extremely cautious. Good morning. Good morning, it's a storm that
00:17:27has alerts in 35 states across the country. Despite the fact that no danger is
00:17:31expected, rain is for the southwest of the country, for Arizona and Colorado that have received
00:17:35more than 5 inches of rain this weekend. Ana, the danger
00:17:38continues, why? Because despite the fact that we will no longer see rain in the
00:17:42forecast, the levels of the rivers continue to be
00:17:45high, in addition we are seeing that that rain will take time to
00:17:48reach the basin to the mountains, it will try to reach the main rivers,
00:17:52so pay attention to communities that live near the rivers, this storm
00:17:56will continue to move east and today from Austin to
00:17:59Des Moines, they will be under that risk of storms, excessive rains and that
00:18:02storm is heading towards the northeast of the country by the end of the week, so it is a
00:18:06storm from... coast to coast, under risk of severe weather from
00:18:10Texas to Mississippi, strong damaging wind gusts,
00:18:14hail more than an inch in diameter, but here the danger arrives this afternoon and tonight
00:18:18with so much instability, that risk of tornadoes my people,
00:18:22mainly in Oklahoma, cities like Dallas, Oklahoma City, however
00:18:25to the north in the Rocky Mountains, from
00:18:29Colorado to Wyoming, we are under winter alerts,
00:18:32more than a foot of snow can fall with that storm, now what can we
00:18:36expect, excessive rain. mainly for the center of the country,
00:18:39tomorrow is a key day, the center of the country with rain
00:18:43forecast, now Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado and Utah are under
00:18:47flood alerts today, but it's not going to rain, that's the good news for this
00:18:50week, Florida, we're talking about a very rainy pattern,
00:18:54today and tomorrow, starting Wednesday we start to see drier
00:18:58conditions, up to 5 inches of rain we could be seeing, it is worth
00:19:01mentioning that this rain when we add high tide tonight
00:19:05flooding.
00:19:13Now don't put away your umbrellas because tomorrow the rain will continue and it's all due to this stationary
00:19:16front, also the winds blowing from the northeast, so guys in Florida, a
00:19:20rain, I'll be back with
00:19:22you.
00:19:26fall and will continue dad

00:24:15We are less than 24 hours away from the midterm elections and uncertainty
00:24:19grows regarding a promise from President Donald
00:24:22Trump, I'm talking about the alleged stimulus check that should
00:24:25fatten the bank account of thousands. Enrique García
00:24:29Fuentes expands on it.
00:24:32The midterm elections arrived and with them also the questions
00:24:36about the economic stimulus checks promised by President
00:24:40Donald Trump.
00:24:42First it was a promise of $2 for each
00:24:45citizen, excluding high-income
00:24:48people. They show disillusionment because
00:24:51they waited for the money, but it didn't arrive, people arrived,
00:24:57our disillusionment and the sadness of everything that's happening
00:25:01too, false promises, other citizensically about
00:25:03economic aid, because who knows
00:25:07where they will be in their pocket
00:25:09of,
00:25:12because we have seen it, political strategy experts
00:25:15qualify the presidential offer as a way to
00:25:18sway the vote towards the... Republican party:
00:25:21the president's tariff policies would be so successful
00:25:25that he would share the benefit of those
00:25:28tariffs with taxpayers, which never happened.
00:25:32then the promise of an economic stimulus became bigger,
00:25:35a dividend of $5, if your
00:25:38party wins the
00:25:41elections. I doubt that even if they win, this will
00:25:45materialize because it would imply adding an amount of
00:25:48approximately one
00:25:51trillion dollars to the national debt of the United States, which is already
00:25:54scandalous. The federal government's public debt already exceeds
00:25:5740 billion dollars, trillions in
00:26:00English, that's equivalent to one hundred.
00:26:03approximately per resident of the country,
00:26:07to date neither Congress nor the Internal Revenue Service has
00:26:10authorized any payment. In Chicago Enrique García

00:26:22remember those who have lost their lives in their migratory journey. Francisco

00:26:36Cruces New Mexico in the United States united to officiate
00:26:39a binational mass for migrants who have died in the attempt to cross the
00:26:42border. The binational mass was held next to the border
00:26:46wall where the bishops united in prayer for the migrants who
00:26:49have lost their lives and also for the refugees fleeing their countries of
00:26:53origin due to violence. Today we gather
00:26:57to pray for the souls of those who lost their lives
00:27:01to... try to cross the
00:27:05border. The binational mass was led by
00:27:08Bishop Valdachino, who also referred in his homily to the
00:27:11persecution of migrants in the United States by immigration
00:27:15authorities. The bishop of El Paso Texas,
00:27:18affirmed that, even though deaths have decreased due to the intense surveillance at the
00:27:22border, there are still displaced people in various countries due to
00:27:25violence.

00:31:06and a half on Instagram who the Democratic party recruits to support its candidates, welcome Carlos
00:31:09Eduardo, hello, good morning, good morning, good morning, how nice to have you with us
00:31:13likewise, and in your social media accounts we see you
00:31:17at events with gubernatorial candidate Gina Hinojosa and senatorial candidate
00:31:21James Stalla Rico, the polls show these
00:31:24races to be extremely close, could this be the
00:31:28year that Democrats prevail in Texas, I think so,
00:31:32I'm seeing something I've never seen in my life and that is many people who
00:31:36don't pay attention to politics,
00:31:38contacting me commenting on my videos for the first time what can I do, I've never
00:31:42voted but I want to go out and vote because they have realized that what we are seeing
00:31:45is not about left, right, Democrat, Republican, but about
00:31:49simply we have reached a limit, a point where people are living with a lot of
00:31:52fear, with a lot of concern, the persecution is out of control and
00:31:56I think that all anti-immigrant policies and other extreme ones we have
00:31:59seen have activated a new generation of Latino voters who do not
00:32:03mean that they are loyal to the Democratic party, they are super fans, it is
00:32:07more than anything a punishment vote as they call it for the Republican party,
00:32:10but I think it's enough to make history in Texas. Well, and you were
00:32:14even mentioning it. the Washington Post identifies you as the influencer who
00:32:18educates Latino immigrants about US
00:32:21politics. What have you taught your followers about these
00:32:24midterm elections when they send you all these questions you
00:32:27mentioned? Well, a lot of information, one of the things many people don't
00:32:31know, for example, when to register to vote, where you can
00:32:34vote, a lot of information that perhaps you have the intention to want
00:32:38to participate, but you don't know where to start, so
00:32:42there's that. But secondly, who are the candidates, right? as I say, many people
00:32:45are just paying attention to politics or have been for a short time
00:32:49and don't understand the positions of one candidate or another, how the system
00:32:53also works, what can
00:32:56well, this happens uh uh uh tomorrow and the elections and then the
00:33:00world will change drastically and yes there will be certain changes that can happen in Congress
00:33:04for example if Gina wins the governorship of Texas, very
00:33:07big changes could come but people have to
00:33:11understand what is really at stake, what can happen and that everything is a
00:33:14process. you practically measure the pulse of the voters, what do your
00:33:18followers tell you about their priorities in these elections?
00:33:21well, what I hear the most is the issue of immigration, many people who perhaps
00:33:25have been in this country for decades, have children here who thought they would be
00:33:29protected from everything that is happening, because I think we all agree, if
00:33:33you commit a crime, you are a violent person, a criminal, etc.,
00:33:36well, there should be immigration penalties deportation, etc., but there were
00:33:40many people who were here for so many years and felt that they were safe
00:33:44in a way. or people who had legal status, a TPS, asylum,
00:33:47who are now exposed to the hunt we are
00:33:51seeing, so that's the first thing and then obviously economy and other
00:33:55factors, the current government said that everything would go down on the first day, in Texas the
00:33:58governor said that by the end of summer gasoline would be less than $, now
00:34:02it has exceeded four, so many things when you add immigration,
00:34:06economy and other aspects, the war in Iran, people are very
00:34:09unhappy, and well, 54 million
00:34:12voters, Carlos Eduardo, vote early, it's a figure
00:34:16much higher than the 39 million in the previous elections at
00:34:20these same dates, to what do you attribute this increase, would it be enough for
00:34:24the Democratic party to regain control of Congress? yes, as
00:34:27I say, I think more than anything it's a protest vote, as many people call it, who didn't
00:34:31vote in 2024, because there's a lot of talk about, well, Latinos voted for Trump
00:34:35in 2024, but the vast majority didn't vote for anyone, they didn't vote for Democrats
00:34:39or Republicans, and now we are seeing a new
00:34:42wave of voters who didn't pay attention to politics, they
00:34:45didn't believe in politics, etc., who are now saying, we have to stop the madness
00:34:49that is happening, let's vote Democrat, but as I say, they are not people who
00:34:53say: I am loyal to the Democratic party, I am a super fan, they are simply unhappy
00:34:57with the current situation, well and before we say goodbye, there are many Democrats who
00:35:00sometimes feel that their values do not align with those of the candidates
00:35:03of your party, who have been used
00:35:07in the past with promises of immigration reforms and feel
00:35:10defrauded by the inaction against President Trump's immigration
00:35:14policies. in this second term, what do you tell
00:35:17them today, why should they go out and vote for Democratic
00:35:21candidates? well, that's why I tell them it's a whole process, first you have to
00:35:24have someone you can negotiate with, the reality is that with Donald Trump and the
00:35:28extremist Republicans we have in power there is no
00:35:31path to any benefit because they are not willing to listen and once
00:35:35the Democrats are in power, as I say, it doesn't end on November 3rd, on November
00:35:394th the campaign begins to create pressure for uh
00:35:43well, this is what people want and to ensure that there is always
00:35:46constant contact, politics is not voting and that's it, it's voting and then talking to your
00:35:50representatives, contacting them, if they are doing things well, obviously
00:35:54congratulating them, but if not, hey, I voted for you, you said this and now you are
00:35:57doing something else and that's why I think Latinos have been left behind because we don't
00:36:01participate all year in the electoral process, sometimes
00:36:05we vote, other times we don't, we never talk to representatives, etc., so I want to
00:36:09motivate the people who follow me, the people who vote, not only to vote but also
00:36:12to uh uh do the work afterwards to continue putting that pressure
00:36:16and finally achieve change. Carlos Eduardo Espina, one of the most important
00:36:19Latino influencers and content creators in the country, thank you for
00:36:23joining us on Despierta América. No, thank you, and I want you to know that in a few moments.
00:36:27We will also talk with Gabriela Berrospi, she is
00:36:30from Latino Wall Street and a member of the Forbes Financial Council,
00:36:34who is with us live and we will give her the same time that
00:36:38we gave you, Carlos Eduardo, excellent, thank you, and
00:36:41well, stay with us and also at home because I want you to know that at this time the
00:36:45concern in California does not diminish
00:36:48by the Trump administration in the elections of that state, that is why Governor
00:36:52Gavin Newsom sends letters to the judges presiding over four
00:36:56federal courts asking them to be alert to possible requests
00:37:00from the government to obtain search warrants for electoral material before
00:37:03or after the elections, let's listen to what the Democratic
00:37:07leader says.
00:37:13these guys, i'm surprised they
00:37:15still
00:37:18like the state should look at thisbarring these folks, mean the level of incompency is
00:37:21rather jaw dropping, and obviously what happened in Alaska as well, but
00:37:25it's it's just i don't even have.
00:37:31He also reiterates that in recent weeks the Trump administration has
00:37:34intensified attacks against electoral officials threatening
00:37:38criminal charges against those who only comply with federal and
00:37:42state laws. And at this time the FBI would be
00:37:45asking its agents to stay away from polling
00:37:49centers, this is because federal law prohibits conducting
00:37:52arrests or routine operations and much less special ones in
00:37:56places where citizens exercise their right to
00:37:59vote, it is still not known if the instruction is
00:38:02national, and right now legal aid is being
00:38:06reduced and with it the possibility for lawyers to release
00:38:09immigrant children under ICE custody to reunite them
00:38:13with family members, let's go live to New York, there is Rolman Vergara who
00:38:17explains what is happening with many minors.
00:38:20Rolman, good
00:38:21morning,
00:38:24good morning and that despite the fact that immigration lawyers are
00:38:28coming to federal courts like the one behind me in
00:38:31Manhattan and are succeeding in
00:38:34getting unaccompanied children out of ICE
00:38:38custody.
00:38:39Let's see.
00:38:45Migrants leave federal custody and reunite with their
00:38:49families. To achieve this, they file a writ called
00:38:53Habeas Corpus. With it, they ask a federal judge to
00:38:56determine if it is legal for the government to continue holding the
00:39:00minor. In Manhattan, Lutheran pastor Fabián Arias
00:39:03recalls how long it took a mother to reunite with her two
00:39:06daughters. A family with their two girls here who took more than 6
00:39:10months to get their children back is an outrage with the mother
00:39:13present here. Before handing a minor over to a
00:39:17family member, the Refugee Resettlement Office
00:39:20must verify that they will be safe in that home. Immigration
00:39:24lawyer Claudia Bernal explains why that
00:39:27review matters, imagine, if they release this child into the hands of a
00:39:31person who will cause danger to the minor, the government
00:39:34itself gets into trouble, what defenders question is that some
00:39:38children spend months in custody when they already have
00:39:41family members willing to receive them, there are lawyers who
00:39:45file these writs for free, but Arias
00:39:48says that for the families he accompanies, getting that
00:39:52help is increasingly difficult, funds have been cut,
00:39:55checks have not been renewed and organizations no longer have
00:39:59funds to pay lawyers, according to the Acacia
00:40:02Center for Justice, in 40 of the 41 cases,
00:40:06whose outcome could be confirmed, the minor was released from
00:40:09custody. Bernal explains what remains pending after
00:40:12the release. Their deportation process continues, the
00:40:16difference is that they do it while
00:40:19free, not detained, that is the big difference. In another
00:40:22case, a federal judge ordered the government to give unaccompanied
00:40:26minors who apply for asylum and their lawyers at least
00:40:32the interview so they can prepare, protection of the home, the
00:40:36protection of the family, the rights of the family, no, so it is really
00:40:40a drama for all our families at this
00:40:42moment,
00:40:45it is important to understand that this protection is temporary,
00:40:49it expires next November 13th at noon,
00:40:52unless the court extends it. Back
00:40:55to you.
00:40:58Rolman, thank you for informing us live from New York
00:41:01and we will continue with more and we go directly to sports

00:43:23Cowboys winning, again in the fourth quarter by more than 10 points, terrible,
00:43:26terrible, they ran for 150 yards, Dallas goes from bad to worse with a

00:48:03a crawling enemy so small that it is barely visible, deals a strong
00:48:07blow to the avocado industry in Mexico. The detection of the
00:48:11stem borer forces the destruction of up to 52 tons
00:48:14of that fruit. Producers from four states empty trucks and
00:48:18activate protocols to eliminate the... Let's go live to Mexico City, there
00:48:23is Erica Macho García with what
00:48:26hour. Eric, good morning.
00:48:29Sacha, hello, good morning friends of Despierto
00:48:33América, this avocado issue is very complex, especially in the Ciracuaretiro
00:48:37region, exactly there in Michoacán, it is an avocado
00:48:40region that even includes 31 municipalities, but they
00:48:44mainly complain about the drop in prices and try to prevent avocados
00:48:48from other states from arriving, such as Jalisco, Nayarit,
00:48:52also Colima, they have set up blockades on the Siglo XXI highway,
00:48:55which is the main one there in Michoacán, with road blockades, they have
00:48:59set up barricades with burning tires, they even
00:49:02burned part of the production to demand that this price can
00:49:05increase because it fell below 15 pesos,
00:49:09they ask for it to be at least 40 pesos so that avocado
00:49:12production in the state of Michoacán is profitable, but
00:49:16they also complain that perhaps produce from other states may be
00:49:20affected by the stem borer pest, something that has not yet
00:49:23been proven, they ask that this be resolved soon
00:49:27because they are already warning that this could affect the avocado supply chain
00:49:31for export to the United States, talks are expected
00:49:34in the coming days and that they will soon reach an agreement,
00:49:38Sacha. Erica Macho García, let's hope so, thank you
00:49:41for informing us live from Mexico City.
00:49:45And this, gentlemen, could be

00:54:37There is our altar commemorating the Day of the
00:54:40Dead. Oh, my daddy, I send you kisses to heaven, dad, everyone.
00:54:44Exclusively, precisely in the heart of New
00:54:48York, it is filled with color, art and tradition. Times Square prepares to
00:54:51commemorate the Day of the Dead in an event that honors our Mexican roots.
00:54:55There is our Lulu Gómez live. Good
00:54:57morning.
00:55:05compliments, but all this is due precisely to the Day of the
00:55:08Dead, and yes, it touches our hearts all. I hear you how you remember
00:55:12those who are no longer with us, that's why we Mexicans
00:55:15have this beautiful tradition, right, of honoring the life of those who are no longer
00:55:19here, and we arrived at Times Square for the fourth consecutive year we have
00:55:23been bringing these altars thanks to Beba Rojas on this
00:55:26occasion of Maecenas. Tell us about the
00:55:29importance of this event of bringing all this here to
00:55:32Times Square. How are you, good morning?
00:55:38I am vice president of the non-profit organization Maecenas and we are going to tell you a little bit about what is happening here in the
00:55:42heart of New York. For example, we have this altar
00:55:46that hurts a lot because it is precisely those who
00:55:49lost their lives in detention centers, this altar is the one that
00:55:52is honoring those people. Tell us about it. Of course, look, this altar
00:55:56is from the border and honors those who died in, well, in
00:56:00detention. This altar personifies all those
00:56:03people who suffer so much to be able to get here and who fail
00:56:07in the attempt. And for example, the cempasúchil flower, right, Beba, that for us
00:56:11represents the color and the smell that attracts those who come
00:56:14from there. Of course, yes, the smell of cempasúchil and the
00:56:17copal are what make the souls come and visit us, and the
00:56:21little skulls that represent the sweet also have a lot of
00:56:25color. Here we are dressed and representing ourselves, characterizing ourselves
00:56:28with Katrina dresses. My, and we also see many
00:56:32altars, for example this one from Dolores Huerta. Many flowers, with a lot of
00:56:36smell and a lot of color. We also arrived at another very important altar that is created by immigrant
00:56:40entrepreneurs, and we have with us Mr. Pedro
00:56:43Zamora. Good morning, tell us about the importance of this event
00:56:46and also of this altar that we have behind us, Pedro. Well, thank
00:56:50you very much, I appreciate it. Well, here we are highlighting Mexican traditions and
00:56:54culture. It is very important because this
00:56:57altar is made by the colleagues,
00:57:00friends, merchants here in New York. As you will see,
00:57:04each of them has a very special meaning for
00:57:07all of us, so please, I want people to
00:57:11come and enjoy these
00:57:14altars, which is our culture, of course, because there are... It
00:57:17is important to mention that we are the first media outlet that is
00:57:21here, well, visiting these altars and that at 4 p.m. we have
00:57:24an event here in Times Square. It's free, everyone can come and look,
00:57:28I also want to show you, of course, the dresses of my Katrina, but
00:57:32also this altar, right now they are preparing it. All of them woke up very
00:57:36early, since 3 in the morning, they are here characterizing it. This altar
00:57:39is one of those that has created the restaurant Fortaleza with Paquita la del Barrio,
00:57:43with Selena, with Chespirito, with Juan Gabriel. The candles
00:57:47represent in our altars the light to guide all the
00:57:51people who come to visit us, that's why we put their favorite food
00:57:54plates, that's why we create these Day of the
00:57:57Dead altars so that they can come and be with us again.
00:58:01Everything has a meaning, right Pedro? Of course,
00:58:05you see, many times people are a little misinformed,
00:58:09but the Day of the Dead in Mexico is celebrated,
00:58:12this is celebrated,
00:58:15a very beautiful tradition that, as I
00:58:18said, everything has its meaning. Pedro, the blue color of my
00:58:22dress is the color of the sky, which we look at when we want to remember
00:58:25someone of ours, like the heart I have that also symbolizes the love
00:58:29that never dies for our own. How beautiful! Listen, bring all this
00:58:33here to Tim so that whoever passes by here says what a
00:58:36special Mexican tradition. That's right, that's
00:58:40right, well, it's about remembering all our loved ones who
00:58:43passed away and remembering the beautiful things they left us.
00:58:47Later we will continue from here from Times Square, but we remind you that from
00:58:514 in the afternoon you can come to visit them, listen to music and live
00:58:54dances. We'll see you, thanks,
00:58:57thanks, everything you just presented is so beautiful, and you know what, it's a
00:59:01Mexican tradition and I love to see that little by little they are
00:59:04adopting it in other places, they are starting to see the beauty behind it. You explained to me, I remember
00:59:08clearly that you were scared at first because you didn't understand it, I didn't understand it, because it was
00:59:11done the way it was until I started working here, I started to discover the Day of the
00:59:15Dead there in New York.
00:59:17There were also races, a marathon in Mexico for the Day of the Dead. And the biggest
00:59:21Katrina, also beautiful,
00:59:23that's right.
00:59:29Good morning, it's Monday, November 2nd. Today on Despierta
00:59:33América, time is running out. Those are the last
00:59:37words of the pilot on board the private plane that crashed in
00:59:40Florida, moments after reporting ice and turbulence.
00:59:44We have images, testimonies and what they think.
00:59:49Today is the last campaign day before the midterm elections and Trump
00:59:53reveals his strategy if he loses the majority in Congress. Live, we have
00:59:56reactions and the unexpected turn that the Senate race takes in
01:00:00Michigan. Live, we talk to a woman who wants to
01:00:03strip the Republican Party of the governorship in
01:00:06Texas. Gina Hinojosa intensifies her campaign and explains
01:00:10her proposals to alleviate the cost of living and strengthen
01:00:14public education.
01:00:17and his wife officially announce their separation. This morning we have the
01:00:20reaction of Jose Eduardo himself and his mother Victoria Rufo.
01:00:24Heidi Klum once again becomes the celebrity who most
01:00:28surprises on Halloween with this costume that left everyone
01:00:31scratching their heads. Also, J.Lo makes
01:00:34everyone fall in love with her costume, here we are going to compare her with the original.
01:00:38Erica de la Vega arrives live to present her new
01:00:41book. From Los Angeles, Majo Aguilar makes a
01:00:44confession. The Mexican journalist
01:00:48who all celebrities talk to, sits down with María Antonieta Collins and tells
01:00:52everything. The Big Apple commemorates the Day of the Dead and from the
01:00:56heart of Times Square we will see its beautiful altars, catrinas
01:00:59and the music of their mariachis. Welcome to the happiest
01:01:02house on Hispanic television where America always
01:01:06wakes up.
01:01:15Good morning, especially to Chicago.
01:01:23That's right, today is November 2nd and the Day of the Dead is commemorated.
01:01:27Millions of families honor their loved ones
01:01:30with offerings, and look how beautiful it has
01:01:33turned out, our altar every year always looks
01:01:36spectacular, remembering the people we love so much in our
01:01:42mind, exactly, who live forever in our
01:01:44heart. There are many very dear people.
01:01:47Nelson, who was the executive producer of Nuestra Belleza Latina, yes,
01:01:51that's right, I worked a lot with Nelson, well, and Francisca, of course, a great friend.
01:01:55Well, let's go because we have a lot of information,
01:01:58Sacha, and we are ready with the news for this crucial
01:02:02week and many things happening, let's go because I want
01:02:05you to know that time is running out. With those words, the
01:02:09pilot of the private jet that crashed in Palm Beach, Florida, reported
01:02:13the presence of rain, ice and
01:02:16turbulence. Authorities are investigating the causes, but experts
01:02:19believe that ice accumulation on the wings would alter
01:02:23the airflow, causing the aircraft to fall at more than
01:02:2632,000 feet per minute. That enormous fireball
01:02:30exploded on the ground and the impact opened a crater in the
01:02:33pavement. Jennifer Santana has what is known at
01:02:36this time from the scene of the tragedy, also the
01:02:40reaction of residents of the area. Go ahead,
01:02:43Jennifer.
01:02:45Good day, Sacha, very dramatic and sad this audio of the
01:02:49pilot communicating with the control tower during the distress
01:02:52call.
01:03:15Seconds later, the private jet crashed into the ground in front of the mobile home park
01:03:19in West Palm Beach at 12:50
01:03:22p.m. yesterday. All nine people on board the aircraft
01:03:25died. The Learjet 60 departed from
01:03:28Austin and was headed for the Bahamas. The images from the scene
01:03:32are stunning. The jet crashed into the pavement, leaving
01:03:35a huge crater surrounded by flames. Minutes before the
01:03:39accident, the pilot reported ice accumulation on the aircraft and
01:03:43turbulence. The situation deteriorated rapidly, after
01:03:46encountering precipitation. The pilot
01:03:49declared an emergency when the aircraft began to lose altitude at an
01:03:53alarming rate. Some 600 residents of the mobile home park
01:03:56near the impact point were evacuated.
01:04:00Let's listen to them, flames everywhere, pieces of
01:04:04metal ah, and pieces of
01:04:07human remains everywhere, we even found a baby's hand
01:04:10and all that. Well, we feel right now
01:04:14devastated. Imagine, we are
01:04:17here in a situation where we don't know what is going to happen.
01:04:21I have small children and
01:04:24when we see that it is
01:04:28very painful.
01:04:35a deep hole, a lot of water and a lot of
01:04:38fire came out. There are
01:04:40no reports of anyone on the ground having died, but the accident left a
01:04:44large area covered in debris. The governor of the
01:04:47state, Ron DeSantis, said it was a catastrophic
01:04:50air accident. He referred to the video as shocking.
01:04:53It was like a missile falling, a huge explosion, debris
01:04:57everywhere, he said. There is already an
01:05:01investigation underway to determine the causes of the accident. The National Transportation
01:05:04Safety Board has sent a team of
01:05:08investigators yesterday. They have said that today they will
01:05:11send another team of investigators and a press conference is scheduled
01:05:14for the morning. We still don't have the exact
01:05:18time it will be. Back to you in the studio,
01:05:21Sacha, rest in peace all of them. Jennifer Santana, thank you for
01:05:25informing us live from the scene of this tragedy in Palm Beach,
01:05:29Florida. Less than 24 hours before the midterm
01:05:32elections, more than 54 million
01:05:35people have already cast their votes, surpassing early voting
01:05:39in past presidential elections. Today, President
01:05:42Trump stays in Washington D.C. after revealing
01:05:46how he would govern if he loses the majority in Congress. Live,
01:05:49Edwin Pití tells us what strategy he would use and has
01:05:53reactions to the unexpected turn the Senate race takes in
01:05:57Michigan, after a Democratic congresswoman
01:06:00supported the Republican candidate.
01:06:03Edwin, good morning. Good morning to you, Sacha, a very
01:06:07busy start to the week for President Donald Trump, who today at 2 p.m.
01:06:11Eastern Time will deliver a speech from the Lincoln Memorial
01:06:14and from the White House will be virtually participating
01:06:18in nine campaign events. Let's see the
01:06:21report.
01:06:25With two political events in Iowa and Kansas, Donald Trump
01:06:28closed the weekend, seeking to save a Republican majority in
01:06:32Congress, even in states where he won comfortably, his party
01:06:36faces more competitive races than expected.
01:06:48But the president is already contemplating a defeat. In an interview, he
01:06:52revealed what he would do if the Democrats regain control of
01:06:55Congress.
01:07:04A warning that he would block Democratic laws, although he also left
01:07:08open the possibility of negotiating, and it is a resource that
01:07:11wears out, it is a resource that truly
01:07:14puts the president on the defensive. This in the
01:07:18long run could truly erode
01:07:21even more the support or the little support he
01:07:24has in the polls. Meanwhile, early
01:07:28participation is soaring, according to the Associated
01:07:31Press, more than 54 million
01:07:34Americans have already voted. The increases have been seen in states
01:07:37where the control of the Senate is being disputed, and in Michigan
01:07:41a political turn.
01:08:17The decision provoked the resignation of several of his advisors and
01:08:21complicates a contest that could define the control of the
01:08:24Senate.
01:08:27And among those who resigned, Sacha, is the person who was Stevens' chief of staff
01:08:31for 8 years. He says he is moved and heartbroken,
01:08:34but he took the opportunity to invite everyone who votes in Michigan to go out and vote
01:08:38for the Democrats, including the Democratic candidate for the Senate, Abdul El.
01:08:43But there are also figures like Homer and Nancy Pelosi who describe the action of this
01:08:46Democratic congresswoman as a despicable
01:08:49betrayal. Back to you, Sacha. Edin Pití, we thank you
01:08:53for all these reactions and live information from
01:08:56Washington D.C. and we invite you at home not to miss a
01:09:00single minute of our special live coverage from coast to coast about
01:09:04the crucial midterm elections.
01:09:07And now let's learn about the weather details. There is a system that
01:09:11would be generating a risk for many people
01:09:15in much of the country. Our meteorologist Jessica Delgado is here to
01:09:18tell us exactly where. Sacha, good morning. This same storm that brought
01:09:22devastating floods to the southwest of the country is now heading towards the
01:09:26center of the country and we are talking about winter conditions at this time of the morning
01:09:30from Colorado to Wyoming, but we see this rain and storm activity at
01:09:34this time of the morning concentrated from Kansas to
01:09:37Missouri, to Texas, dry conditions at this time of the morning but the
01:09:40conditions will deteriorate during this afternoon and this
01:09:44evening, when a frontal system arrives and is added to
01:09:48this storm and brings severe weather for 15
01:09:50million people from Texas to Missouri. Note that Oklahoma and
01:09:54Kansas are under a greater danger of tornadoes during
01:09:58the night hours, my people, tomorrow this risk will advance to the far
01:10:01east from Bowen to San Luis, tornadoes, damaging
01:10:05winds, so there is a lot of instability today, tomorrow for the
01:10:08center of the country. Now it's this evening between 5, 7, 8
01:10:12at night when we will be seeing this line that will organize better and bring the
01:10:16risk of severe weather and even the risk of floods from
01:10:19Texas to parts of Minnesota, so all in the weather and on election
01:10:23day the center of the country will be under heavy rains as well as Florida. Guys, I'm back with
01:10:27you. Thanks Jess for that weather
01:10:30report, and well family, let's talk about this, a piece of news that has been on everyone's
01:10:34lips all weekend, José Eduardo Derbez and Paola Adalai confirm that
01:10:38they are separating after months of rumors about the state of their
01:10:41relationship. And it was yesterday, Sunday, when both shared
01:10:45a video in which they talked about this breakup, so let's listen to
01:10:49a little of what they said. We want to
01:10:52share something that we decided a while ago,
01:10:56but well, we weren't ready
01:10:59to tell you. Well,
01:11:03we made the decision to separate
01:11:06with a lot of love and a lot of respect, especially
01:11:08for our daughter and
01:11:12because there is also a lot of love and affection
01:11:16between us for so many years
01:11:18and yes, as Paula says, if we hadn't said it before,
01:11:22it was because we didn't even know how to
01:11:25say it
01:11:28or we didn't even know what was going on, but well,
01:11:32just to make it official that we are
01:11:35no longer together
01:11:38and well, we will always be
01:11:42attentive to our daughter and that's the important thing and you will continue
01:11:45to see us together
01:11:46sometimes.
01:11:50Let's talk about this and then we'll analyze it. After this announcement of the
01:11:54separation, rumors arose about a supposed third party involved. They link
01:11:57Paul Adalai with César Romo, a Kings League
01:12:01footballer, and assure that they would have started a relationship some
01:12:07discuss in "Sin Rollo." I know there were rumors and it was
01:12:10said that this, but I saw the video at the beginning and I thought it was going to be a
01:12:14joke. Me too, you never know with José Eduardo, it's that
01:12:18of course, how not? I mean, if you think José Eduardo has that humor and if you think he's going to
01:12:21say something like Eugenio, who sometimes talks seriously and then... And what he does
01:12:25confirm is that these rumors had been going on for a long time. He says, well, yes, for
01:12:29some time but we didn't know how to say it, meaning that he already knew about
01:12:32infidelity, it's like just in case it gets rumored, but in "Sin
01:12:36Rollo" it will be discussed in the next block, we will
01:12:40also talk about it because it was discussed with José.
01:12:55exclusively on Despierta América, because look, María Antonieta Collins
01:12:58sits down to talk with Mara Patricia Castañeda, the Mexican

01:37:27la periodista Mara Patricia Castañeda, hoy coordinadora general
01:37:31espectáculos de Televisa y quien conoce de primera mano
01:37:34muchos secretos y qué hace con esos secretos, qué
01:37:37hace, estamos listos, i
01:37:40love
01:37:42you,
01:38:13Mara, me da mucho gusto saludar.
01:39:05cuestión legal, entonces nada me
01:39:07quita editar esas partes, pocos
01:39:53extraordinary,
01:39:55all of us who know you would have believed it,
01:39:58and you, I no, not you, no,
01:40:02because it's a journalistic genre that was very difficult for me,
01:40:05it's still difficult because every day, María Antonita, the
01:40:09rules of social media change, even the
01:40:11terms change, like "fandom",
01:40:14if it's no longer "hate", now it's
01:40:17"funar" (to publicly shame), so you have to keep up to
01:40:21date and understand. Has any
01:40:23interview you've done changed people's perception
01:40:27of that person? What happens is that you let people
01:40:33happened so that their followers, their audience,
01:40:36understand why they did this or that
01:40:38thing. So there are those who say that
01:40:42I let them use me to clean up their image. And what
01:40:45do you answer them? That I don't care. I'd like to get married like my
01:40:48grandmother. My grandmother was married for about 50 years with sex. Oh, I got married at
01:40:5141. What's the problem? Well, here we go, I have
01:40:5520 years left. I'm not getting married. Did they ever tell you that you wouldn't make
01:40:58it, huh? Once they removed me from a
01:41:02chair so that a very beautiful woman could do the interview with
01:41:06Cristina Saralegui because I wouldn't be able to.
01:41:10Although she has been married to Iván Martínez Urbina for 10 years, she does not shy away
01:41:14from talking about how for a time she was part of Don Vicente and
01:41:17Cuquita Fernández's family. I believe that everyone knows who their
01:41:21children are, of course. Of course, no, you can't
01:41:24lie there. And it was a relationship that... was no longer going to
01:41:28prosper, but while it lasted, there was
01:41:31always a beautiful, a beautiful relationship with Cuquita and with
01:41:34Don Vicente. So much so that Don Chente only spoke to her about the
01:41:38scandal of the photo with an intention. I put my
01:41:41hand first on her stomach and I saw it was her stomach
01:41:45and she was going to feel offended, and I moved my hand up and
01:41:48when I moved it up, they took a picture. It's a secret you've
01:41:52had to keep quiet. Many.
01:41:55Many. I think
01:41:59I say.
01:42:02Artists, even in the midst of any controversy, do not
01:42:05shy away from Mara's microphone recording what they
01:42:09entrust to her and what they know will not be revealed. Do you sleep well
01:42:13every night after you do an interview? Yes,
01:42:16I prefer good sleep to bad eating and bad
01:42:19eating, because sometimes you eat very well but you can't
01:42:23sleep. You know, there are many things
01:42:26that are offered... And there are things you prefer to have in
01:42:29peace, like
01:42:30sleep.
01:42:36Well, now she left us speechless. It's a
01:42:42the play "Las Leonas". Yes, every weekend, so go check it out,
01:42:45it's a huge success, my Mac.
01:42:49Oh, I'm paid for what I keep quiet. That's
01:42:53good, and not for what I say. Excellent
01:42:55journalist interview.
01:42:57Oh, thanks, very interesting, very entertaining, and it
01:43:01shows that she also trusts you, so very good, thank you. Greetings to
01:43:05Mara Patricia Castañeda from all the team at Despierta América. Yes, she knows we
01:43:09love her very much. Thank you, that's right. We have more for you, you can't miss what
01:43:13Majo Aguilar told us after she left her handprints in Plaza
01:43:16México, and this Halloween weekend, guys, the celebrities were
01:43:20the protagonists, you can't miss Jaylo's, Maluma's and
01:43:24Heidi Klum's. Look at that one that's going viral.
01:43:31Guys, the Big Apple commemorates the Day of the Dead, and from the heart of Times Square
01:43:35we're going to see their beautiful altars, catrinas, and mariachi
01:43:39music. Stay with us because later on, you know what, we have a
01:43:45la Vega is coming here to present her new
01:43:48book, so don't miss it here on Despierta América, commemorating the Day
01:43:52of the Dead. The Dead, the great
01:43:54dead. Why is La Roche-Posay
01:44:00effective skincare. La Roche-Posay's facial moisturizer is more
01:44:04than a moisturizer, it helps repair the skin barrier in just one
01:44:07hour. 48 hours of hydration. The early Black Friday
01:44:11deals have arrived. It's rude to keep them
01:44:15waiting. What are you waiting for to take advantage of Calls' offers?
01:44:18Now up to 50% off the entire store
01:44:22and enjoy daily deals at Calls and
01:44:24Calls.com. That little coffee break is
01:44:28best enjoyed with your loved ones. But first
01:44:32things first.
01:44:34Your classic Nescafé, just the way
01:44:38you like it. Nescafé. make your world. we don't
01:44:41usually wear helmets for these, but my head is,
01:44:45what if i have flakes? use head and shoulders, it's got new hydrozink
01:44:48complex that treats the root cause of danger for 24/7
01:44:52protection, even between washes. these are high stakes, no
01:44:55flakes, in such a common situation, viruses and
01:44:59bacteria can spread that could infect your family. That's
01:45:02why we recommend Rompepecho to control and relieve the
01:45:06symptoms of colds and flu, and now for children, Rompepecho.
01:45:56Proposition 37 reduces the cost of buying a
01:46:00home for families. 37 reduces the required down
01:46:04payment from 20% to just 3% and with
01:46:07low interest rates.
01:46:10It also reduces your family's monthly
01:46:13expenses, low down payment, low monthly
01:46:16expenses, vote yes on Proposition
01:46:1937 so that buying a home
01:46:23is more accessible for our families. I'm
01:46:26Javier Becerra, and I have dedicated my life to fighting for our
01:46:29rights. As Attorney General, I sued Trump and
01:46:32we won. Today I'm fighting Trump again. He's interfering in
01:46:36our elections through his candidate and his proposition.
01:46:4039, our right to vote is sacred, that's why we must
01:46:44vote no on 39. Let's
01:46:46fight, let's win against 39. We're not going
01:46:50to let Trump control our elections or our
01:46:53vote. Vote Becerra for governor. Ambiguous language
01:46:57is bad in homework and worse in a law. Proposition
01:47:0040 allows politicians to expand taxes to anyone
01:47:04at any time, without voter approval.
01:47:08There are no controls or oversight.
01:47:12health insurers instead of clinics and
01:47:15doctors' offices. We don't just teach subjects, we teach
01:47:19critical thinking. Join Governor Newsom, educators,
01:47:23doctors, and unions in voting no on 40. What
01:47:26does it mean to vote yes on Proposition 42?
01:47:29Voting yes prohibits politicians from imposing new taxes
01:47:33on your personal assets, including your retirement and
01:47:36savings accounts. A yes vote on Proposition
01:47:402 protects your savings and retirement, whether it's an
01:47:43IRA, 401k, or pension. That's why
01:47:46firefighters, veterans, small businesses, and working
01:47:50families say yes. Vote yes on
01:47:5342, protect your retirement and your savings. This
01:47:56November 3rd, power is at stake, the balance of power in Washington,

01:48:27This segment on Despierta América is presented by Eternal
01:48:30Secret, Dr. Simi's beauty line, now in the United
01:48:34States.
01:48:37Well, here we are ready on Despierta América with
01:48:40Jimena,
01:48:42how are you? Super happy to be here. Hey Jimena, I'm going to ask you a
01:48:46question. For all these days you've been revealing
01:48:50several of your beauty secrets, but today,
01:48:53here it goes. I want
01:48:55to discover the secret behind the secret. Oh Alan,
01:48:59and what are you bringing now? Well,
01:49:02this. Here it is, here it is. I'm going to put it here, I'm going to show it. I'm
01:49:06nervous. Inside this box here it is, there are three
01:49:09words that they tell me perfectly explain what's behind Eternal
01:49:12Secret and why you are our Simi girl.
01:49:16Let's see, open it then. Show me the first box and I'll tell you it's an
01:49:20honor to carry the title of Simi girl, to present a company that
01:49:23besides quality has a commitment to people and obviously
01:49:27I'm more than ready for this challenge. You're ready, let's
01:49:30see, it doesn't make you nervous, the first one, huh?
01:49:33And
01:49:36beauty. Here it is.
01:49:38Beauty.
01:49:41What does Eternal Secret have for our Latina skin? Well, Eternal Secret is
01:49:45beauty without limits, a premium line designed for the needs of
01:49:48our Latina skin, made with quality ingredients
01:49:52and... products that we can easily incorporate into our routine, and
01:49:55you at home can scan the QR code on
01:49:59the screen to learn about the entire line. Ready for the
01:50:01second one? Here
01:50:03goes, accessibility.
01:50:06And this is another of its pillars, bringing premium products to
01:50:09more people without taking care of our skin having to feel out of
01:50:13our reach. That connects a lot with the philosophy, we already know, of Doctor
01:50:17Simi, because since its beginnings it has sought to be close to people and
01:50:21listen to their needs. Exactly, and that closeness
01:50:24leads us to the third word. Ah, you're already
01:50:27anxious. And it is, help, and
01:50:30this one seems very important to me. Here it is.
01:50:33That's right, because Doctor Simi has also promoted humanitarian
01:50:36brigades, support for vulnerable communities, and different
01:50:39social initiatives, as Don Víctor González, whom I adore,
01:50:43says, "Helping is living." And there is something very special behind Eternal
01:50:47Secret. Each purchase contributes to the company's great
01:50:50altruistic project, meaning, the secret
01:50:53behind Eternal Secret is not
01:50:56only how we look, exactly, but also how we can
01:51:00take care of ourselves and at the same time be part of a mission of
01:51:03help. I love that. Now, Chikasimi, an
01:51:07important question. Can we
01:51:09get these products here in the United States now? Of course,
01:51:13yes! Eternal Secret is now available
01:51:16at doctorsimi.com, Amazon, and Similandia. There you have it,
01:51:20three words. There you have it, let's go. Let's show them again: beauty,
01:51:24uh-huh, accessibility,
01:51:27help, help! That was the big secret I
01:51:31wanted to discover. Oh, but there are still
01:51:34more secrets to reveal. Eternal Secret is beauty
01:51:38without, you know, scan the QR code on the screen to
01:51:41learn more. Did you like the game? I
01:51:44loved it, I was fascinated. You made me nervous, but it's always a
01:51:47pleasure to see you, I love you very much and I give you this
01:51:50gift. Thank you. My Tenal creams, yes, but not
01:51:53all of them.
01:51:55We continue.
01:51:59That's right, my Alan, we continue, we continue with a guest who transformed her 7-year-old son
01:52:03Franco's drawings into a fashion collection.
01:52:06It's called "The Thousand Words of Silence"
01:52:09and it's born from a love story, that of a mother who found
01:52:13in those drawings the way to connect with her son's
01:52:16world. We warmly welcome the mother and artist Chantal
01:52:20Lacayo and Andreina Escalante, who is from the
01:52:23Pancitas Felices Foundation. Good morning. Chantal was the winner of
01:52:27Project Runway in 2022. Many
01:52:30congratulations for being here. Welcome to Despierta
01:52:33América. Well, Chantal, tell us about your son
01:52:36Franco. Franco has autism and well, his drawings express what
01:52:40he often can't say with words. I want you to tell us what
01:52:44you have discovered through your son's art, how that
01:52:47collection came to be, tell us everything. Look, each of my collections
01:52:51is inspired by my experiences. I consider myself an
01:52:54artist, I like to do things with passion, and my son, who
01:52:58is 7 years old, was diagnosed before
01:53:01he was 2 years old, he started to express all
01:53:05his things that he had inside,
01:53:08all his world through drawing, and at
01:53:12first I thought it would be something fleeting, but when papers
01:53:15and papers started coming out and we spent years seeing what we collected, what
01:53:19we threw away, I started to see so much. I said, why not
01:53:23express this? Why not be able to express this world?
01:53:27Why not be able to identify with other moms who are looking for ways to
01:53:30express what they live at home, to be able to identify with other
01:53:34moms who know they are not alone because it's a journey, it's a journey
01:53:38where many times we feel alone. Chantal, let's start looking at
01:53:41the designs so you can keep telling us because I think it's very
01:53:44interesting how you converted, let's see our first model, how you converted,
01:53:48you made these roads with your son's cars for
01:53:52this. Tell us about this first model, for example, that is
01:53:55beautiful. Well, remember that in the end it's
01:53:58a brand, so we have to find a
01:54:02balance between the main inspiration which are the vehicles. Later you will see how
01:54:06the roads appear. This is a monochromatic outfit in
01:54:09linen that also,
01:54:12the general story of all the inspiration. Then there are
01:54:16others where the drawings are more visible. Second
01:54:19model, which is more where you can see the roads. And the
01:54:23cars that are, the cars your son makes that you put
01:54:27all around the pants, exactly, exactly, as I mentioned, you have to find a
01:54:30balance between a piece that they can truly wear.
01:54:34Here's a... the roads simulating Franco's world where all
01:54:38the cars are, which are his drawings. That's right, this is
01:54:41just a part of the collection. On the pants are all the roads
01:54:45with the different styles
01:54:48and it was so much fun because he would come into my atelier and look at all his
01:54:52drawings pasted on my mood boards and say why is it
01:54:54there? Exactly, beautiful. Let's see the third
01:54:58model, let's see it. This
01:55:01also recreates a bit of that whole universe, right? So here we have
01:55:05highways with the roads, truly
01:55:08wonderful. How you converted your
01:55:12son's drawings into these spectacular pieces. Now,
01:55:15Andreina Escalante, who is with us, you represent the
01:55:18Pancitas Felices Foundation and a percentage of the sales
01:55:22will be donated to where? Tell us a little more about
01:55:25this. Okay, we are a non-profit foundation
01:55:28to reduce the barriers that they currently
01:55:32face due to the crisis of the system, economic and
01:55:35emotional crisis that all parents of children with autism
01:55:39experience so that they can access education, opportunities for evaluation with
01:55:43specialists, therapeutic opportunities, and that is our
01:55:46mission. You also have a child with autism. Yes, there
01:55:49is an event on the 17th and 18th, you have an event here in Miami, how can people
01:55:53participate? Well, I'll tell you, on the 17th we will be
01:55:57open to the public from 12 to 5. From 5 to 7 is the
01:56:01official launch, that day 30% of the
01:56:05sales on both the 17th and 18th will benefit Pancitas Felices
01:56:09Foundation. And on the 18th, we also have
01:56:11it open from 12 PM to 5 PM where
01:56:15you can see the collection showcase and at the same time Franco's universe which we will
01:56:19be presenting, which is wonderful. Look at the models, those
01:56:23pieces are amazing. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for letting us get to know
01:56:27Franco's world. We wish you all the best with this
01:56:30event, family. Thank you for what you do because many moms
01:56:34must feel supported by this. Fashion with
01:56:37a purpose, that's right. Well, family, we are living an
01:56:41unforgettable morning. Today Erica de la Vega visits us. She
01:56:44comes to present her new book and the fashion
01:56:48detectives are ready to tell us who shined and who
01:56:51didn't so much this weekend. So the invitation is
01:56:54to stay with us. Later we will see how Jennifer Lopez makes everyone fall in love with her
01:56:58costume. We'll be right back. She looked spectacular. Your pieces are
01:57:01beautiful, I love them, model.

02:00:43Proposition 40 allows politicians to expand taxes to anyone and at any time, without
02:00:46voter approval, no controls or
02:00:50oversight. The majority of the money may remain with health
02:00:53insurers, instead of clinics and
02:00:56doctor's offices. We don't just teach subjects, we teach
02:00:59critical thinking. Join the governor, educators,
02:01:02doctors, and unions in voting no on
02:01:0640. Proposition 37 reduces the cost
02:01:09of buying a home for families. 37
02:01:13reduces the required initial payment from 20% to just
02:01:173% and with low interest rates,

02:01:24expenses, low down payment, low monthly
02:01:26expenses, vote yes on Proposition
02:01:3037 so that buying a home is
02:01:33more accessible for our families. Now there's a temperature
02:01:37attracted by the firm Domínguez in accident

02:01:41Despierta América does not
02:01:50stop. Live, we talk to a woman who wants to strip the
02:01:53Republican Party of the governorship in Texas. Gina Hinojosa
02:01:57intensifies her campaign and explains her proposals to
02:02:01alleviate the cost of living and strengthen public
02:02:04education. Victoria Rufo reacts to the separation of
02:02:08her son José and Paul. Here you will see what
02:02:13any fuss. At one point he was involved in
02:02:17illicit businesses, he also confesses to having been a victim of sexual assault and
02:02:21you can't even imagine who his aggressors would have been. Heidi
02:02:25Klum becomes again the
02:02:28surprises on Halloween with this costume that left everyone scratching their
02:02:32heads. Also, Jaylo makes everyone fall in love with her costume.
02:02:35Here we are going to compare it with the original. Erica de la Vega arrives
02:02:39live to present her new book. From Los Angeles, Majo

02:03:26directly to what is the digital
02:03:29scramble.
02:03:32Digital.
02:03:38review some of the most commented costumes from this Halloween
02:03:42weekend. We start with Georgina Rodríguez, who
02:03:46transformed into a ghostly bride with a white
02:03:49veil, dark makeup and a terrifying set.
02:03:53Agra López and Luis Fonsi also joined the Halloween fever,
02:03:57transforming into Sandy and Danny from the iconic movie
02:04:00Grease. What a couple!
02:04:03Meanwhile, Thalía is already
02:04:07thinking about Christmas. The singer dressed up as the Grinch
02:04:11and joked that even though it's Halloween, she's already ready for
02:04:14the holidays. Ángel Aguilar and Christian Nodal also
02:04:22joined the Halloween traditions. They carved pumpkins
02:04:26together among spooky decorations.
02:04:29They are delicious.
02:04:32Romeo Santos and Prince
02:04:35Royce enjoyed Halloween with impressive costumes
02:04:39of skeletons, crowns and details inspired by the Day
02:04:42of the Dead.
02:04:44to the enemy. Carlos Vives and his wife Claudia
02:04:53Elena definitely have a very good sense of
02:04:57humor. They didn't miss Halloween even when they were in
02:05:00Paris. The couple dressed up as
02:05:04posed in front of the Louvre Museum.
02:05:07And one of the most
02:05:10impressive costumes was Carol G's, who transformed into
02:05:14Emily from "Corpse Bride", with all the details.7630.6/3942"> Hulu and Disney Plus for
02:06:42y mi punto, mi punto era, mi punto era

02:30:50We say goodbye to this digital rebel with Bruno Mars and Karol
02:30:52G, let the music play this Monday.
02:30:55what a way to close, what a way, what a way to
02:30:58close with that video and with that
02:31:03song with this music video because this weekend
02:31:06something happened this weekend that took my breath away, ladies and gentlemen, I
02:31:10sent it to everyone and told them I just died, call me
02:31:14later because truly Bruno. published the post
02:31:17I uploaded with everything we did for tropidespierta
02:31:21there on his stories and when I saw it I couldn't believe it but
02:31:24it's super nice so you can see, we knew we were great but the
02:31:28repercussions it has, seriously, our show, that
02:31:31grounds you, as he
02:31:34realized that we were tropa and
02:31:38despierta and
02:31:45he put us in his stories, that
02:31:48is grand, spectacular, your
02:31:51performance was extraordinary,
02:31:55everything, but in that case that he saw you and that photo and good vibes
02:31:59did it again, left everyone in shock by forming into that
02:32:03gigantic hand, that's how he announced it all week, he was
02:32:06telling us, giving us clues, and well, he disguised himself as his own left
02:32:10hand, severed and bloody, to
02:32:14celebrate the 25th anniversary of his traditional party that he holds every year
02:32:18there in New York, and well, look, the costume is approximately
02:32:222.4 meters high,
02:32:25similar to the crazy Addams family's fingers, remember? It includes a
02:32:28spectacular red manicure, exposed veins, tendons, and
02:32:32even fake blood, plus replicas of his
02:32:36engagement ring and his wedding band, and well, if you're
02:32:40wondering how many hours it took him to transform, how many shots he took, I don't think
02:32:44many, eh, well, between 5 and 6 hours, honestly, to put on the costume, it was
02:32:47quite a lot, yes, it was quite a lot, and in one of the shots we saw there on the red
02:32:51carpet, you see how before the photo they put like blood liquid
02:32:54on it so that when they parade everything, hey, but also another one
02:32:58that was expected to steal glances is Jennifer Lopez.
02:33:02This Halloween, honestly, because she transformed into Barbarella, the
02:33:06icon, the iconic character of Jane Fonda that she played in
02:33:091968, besides that she is a great friend, well, you know,
02:33:13she put on a blonde mane, several outfits there
02:33:17we can see the photos of the comparison that besides,
02:33:21she also dedicated a loving message to her friend and former colleague,
02:33:24she said, "a mother-in-law to watch out for, I dressed up as my mother-in-law
02:33:27for Halloween, eh, the truth is that she is very cute and I love the comparison because
02:33:31she studied all the poses, well, obviously Jilo has all the production in the
02:33:35world, but well, there she is, she looked spectacular and well, she also paid
02:33:39tribute to a legend,
02:33:42hey, but our costumes also gave people something to talk about, eh, because besides
02:33:46receiving the approval of the artists themselves, as we already saw Fran, who
02:33:49reposted Bruno Mars, in my case, Elena Rose shared my costume
02:33:53inspired by her in her stories and said that it was officially
02:33:57the best thing she had ever seen, and
02:34:00yes, I want to thank Elena for this lovely
02:34:04gesture, I dressed up as her with a lot of affection, first of all, because her
02:34:08music, besides leaving a mark, she has such a unique
02:34:11style that her outfit is for and Greg Abbot
02:34:14recognized it and I loved it and well, I'm happy to be Elena
02:34:18Rose for a little while and have that talent, you know what, you
02:34:21deserve that
02:34:22congratulation,
02:34:25all because they helped me, mainly my daughter who helped me even recreate the tattoos and everything, and we have
02:34:29to quickly take the opportunity to congratulate all the production.
02:34:38speculation as you say, hey let me tell you quickly because look
02:34:42Shan Dicoms just changed his new
02:34:46release date from prison again and
02:34:49well, as you know, he has been changing it several times but well, he already has
02:34:53a new date that says February 6, 2028
02:34:57instead of March 2, 2028, so they go back and forth
02:35:00but well, there it is. what happens is that the
02:35:04news is here, we said it first and we're going
02:35:07with the news of the New Yorkers, my Lulu is
02:35:11spectacular from the center, from Times
02:35:14Square, celebrating, commemorating, rather, the Day
02:35:17of the Dead, here we continue live commemorating the Day
02:35:21of the Dead with altars with cempasúchil flowers like this for
02:35:24Dolores Huerta, this leader for whom we have placed her favorite food, her
02:35:28flowers and colors, as well as her sayings like that one that says women are the
02:35:32backbone of our communities, and it is a woman who
02:35:36has created and who has designed all these costumes and this
02:35:39characterization, I, for example, the Traditional Catrina, Rosa
02:35:43Ruiz, Creator, tell us why we dress like this on the Day
02:35:46of the Dead, well, the creation of the Catrina
02:35:49began with the creator José Guadalupe Posada who started
02:35:53with the Garbancera skull, he did it as a satire,
02:35:57as a mockery of the government of that time, then Diego Rivera
02:36:00as José Vasconcelos gave
02:36:02it the name of Catrina, before it was not related to the Day of the Dead,
02:36:06but today it is, well look here you have a beautiful Traditional
02:36:09Catrina and I have three other outfits, which are
02:36:13the Monarch butterfly. one that comes with embroidery from
02:36:17Tenango de Doria, here you can have a pre-Hispanic Catrina
02:36:21and I have a Catrina dedicated to
02:36:24the golden age of Mexican cinema, all this inspires
02:36:27me to continue showcasing my culture,
02:36:30thank you very much, thank you Rosa, and we all have
02:36:34something in common, which is the makeup that has the main message that is
02:36:38after death, we are all equal, Beba,
02:36:41please invite us to continue this celebration tonight.
02:36:45Of course, look, I cordially invite you to come from
02:36:49now until 9 p.m. to visit the altars, the monumental
02:36:53Catrinas, and
02:36:56really in the back block we're going to
02:36:59have a stage full of music, folklore, and tradition, so
02:37:02we extend a cordial invitation, we have Grupo Macao, Jerry Feroz, Banda La
02:37:06Atractiva, eh, we have the Folkloric Ballet of New York,
02:37:10Calpulli, so we await you, from
02:37:13now on, let's go, let's go. to continue commemorating this Day of
02:37:17the Dead, put your favorite foods for your deceased
02:37:20and commemorate this day in a big way with lots of color, just as we do
02:37:23here live from Times Square, we say goodbye, have a happy
02:37:27day,
02:37:30this fashion and beauty segment on Despierta América is presented by
02:37:34L'Oréal Paris because you're
02:37:36worth it.
02:37:45international, this weekend we saw everything from the world of
02:37:49celebrities and fashion, exactly, to analyze the looks
02:37:52we invited those who know, the experts, we have Catalina Maya,
02:37:56Claudia Zuleta and Juan Andrés Grizuti, fashion
02:37:59experts, good morning guys, very handsome, happy Monday,
02:38:03new month, how exciting, totally, we came coordinated, I
02:38:07like it, look there's Mari, oh me too a little bit, now we go
02:38:10with Ricky Martin who was seen with this look in Las Vegas,
02:38:14Nevada. all in black and with a belt hanging, what
02:38:17do we think Cata, what
02:38:20are we going to say, what
02:38:23can be said, no, but it's very, it's very in line with his
02:38:27style, with what we've been seeing in him in recent years, I think the pants are
02:38:31wide, they suit him very well, but above all it gives a bit, it adjusts a bit
02:38:35eh the silhouette with that belt, I loved it, everything Ricky wears
02:38:38looks perfect on him,
02:38:42also what he has is that when he's on stage he has to have movement. He has to have
02:38:45sensuality and that outfit is perfect to show all his talent, so
02:38:49all his talent, all his talent, to show everyone, are you
02:38:53with me or are you with them, I'm with you, but if he's dressed in black
02:38:56or if it's not clear, he's dressed in black from head to toe that's not
02:39:00clear, I know that the the
02:39:03belt with hanging is a very strong trend, but
02:39:06sometimes it's not clear because you don't know if it's badly
02:39:10placed or something, Claudia are you with me no? I'll be with him because I can't
02:39:14do otherwise. It feels, it always has
02:39:17something different, but look, everyone
02:39:21looks at him when they've seen him in pink, everyone looks at him, no, but if
02:39:25we're talking about not fashion, my cousin fashion, that
02:39:29being in fashion can also be places
02:39:31how we're going to dress in 20 years, do you think in 20 years we'll all dress in
02:39:35black,
02:39:38that seems futuristic,
02:39:40futuristic,
02:39:44futuristic.
02:39:47please save this clip, save me the clip that this is futuristic, dressed in
02:39:51black, for her part Sofía Vergara wore this spectacular
02:39:54look in the Big Apple, oh this one, this one
02:39:58you liked, at least it looks different, okay I like
02:40:01it, how about Claudia, I love
02:40:05her, I've always liked her, I think she maintains a style, she doesn't want to change
02:40:09it, the corset, she knows it fits her perfectly, it looks very
02:40:12good on her, when she changes it we say she should go
02:40:15back, exactly, exactly, so I like it, I've always liked Sofía and this fabric is
02:40:18like it looks wet, super cute and well she's
02:40:22enjoying it, very Sofía, yes, I want to know what her secret is to
02:40:26always look so incredible and so young, younger
02:40:29she, spectacular that woman, and on the other hand
02:40:33Dua Lipa attended the awards ceremony in New
02:40:36York with this look, eh, my Cata, look, she's matching with you in
02:40:40white, yes, but I didn't like it that much, I didn't like it that much, I
02:40:43love Dua Lipa, I think she's always very
02:40:46comes to fashion, when it comes to a look
02:40:50on her, but I didn't like it, I think the cut doesn't flatter her much, that
02:40:54although, although it
02:40:57is a trend and it looks good on many
02:41:00people, I think she doesn't, the problem is that it's not her, like she
02:41:04has accustomed us to that type of clothing, but maybe she wanted to show
02:41:07the versatility, no, but what versatility, she
02:41:11didn't hit it, she didn't hit it because I
02:41:14like it. I don't dislike it, but I don't know, I've never seen
02:41:18her dress like that, but that's the difference with women Amira,
02:41:22that we can be versatile, that we can dress according to the place we go
02:41:25to and I think she's showing this... Besides that, look at the hat, which is super
02:41:31the skirt that's probably
02:41:34Holmes eh who was with her partner in a tight
02:41:37suit eh with blue tones both,
02:41:41what did you think? spectacular,
02:41:44in November for you it has been spectacular, not all
02:41:47not all because let's wait for the next one, the next one was not that spectacular either, it
02:41:51seems to me that it's a color that flatters her a lot, that the
02:41:54cut, the length, well, it plays a role.
02:41:58with her partner, I think that color is divine, it suits her very very well, I think
02:42:01they are matching but they both look
02:42:0450 years old each, well, 75 years old, his pants are
02:42:08too long, that's not good for his silhouette and he's not very
02:42:12tall so it makes him look shorter, they look like the figurines I have in the garden at home,
02:42:15I think it was a look neither one thing nor the
02:42:19other, you were so peaceful and in love and suddenly so, I actually
02:42:22liked the color, it's a color, it's an f color, eh, I also like
02:42:26the part that's tighter at the top and
02:42:30looser at the bottom, so it looks elegant, it's the combination of wanting to use two trends together
02:42:34and I think that it's
02:42:36can balance, how do you say
02:42:39balance being a doctor balance being a doctor, a mom and
02:42:42I have to do the same, be an actress also a mom, of course,
02:42:46so you put a lot of your own life, I imagine, into your
02:42:49character. Gina, now, let's talk about your Puerto Rican roots,
02:42:53right? Eh, your mom is Puerto Rican, but you
02:42:57also use your culture to add to Gina or another
02:43:01character, tell me a little. Well, this moment is so special because when I
02:43:04was a girl I always thought that I had to change one
02:43:08thing or another so that I could like to
02:43:11make myself more Latina and more
02:43:15okay
02:43:17it's not perfect it's very good, it's very
02:43:21good, but now it's a moment that they are like with
02:43:24you. They are embracing me and they are
02:43:27saying no, you should be here, you
02:43:35are a Latina like us, you are
02:43:35family and I feel it because
02:43:42I have always felt it at home, but you know like now in
02:43:46this in this job,
02:43:49this career that I have been doing for more than 20 years, this
02:43:52profession, and you feel that now is when we are most embracing Latinos, that is very
02:43:55important, I am always looking for
02:43:59moments when I can speak Spanish as a doctor
02:44:02to show them that yes I am Boricua. And in fact the
02:44:06embrace is so strong that they also put you on the list of the 100
02:44:10most influential Latinas of the magazine now and
02:44:14in fact you are in the city of Miami because precisely this beautiful
02:44:17event Latina Powerhouse will take place, how
02:44:21do you receive the news and what does it feel like to be on this list with so many
02:44:25successful women, what a great honor also the
02:44:28responsibility to represent us with
02:44:32everything that makes us human, that we are intelligent
02:44:36that we are. that we are not perfect, but it is not about being perfect, but that we are
02:44:39here with with, with all our
02:44:42energy and with you with honor and grace and all the beautiful things that I would
02:44:46love to say in Spanish,
02:44:52with honor, with
02:45:00grace, yes, you do it incredibly, now
02:45:04always talking about your roots, always very proud to be Afro-Latina,
02:45:07do you think that now there are many more opportunities for
02:45:09Afro-Latinas, yes there are many
02:45:11more and we still need more, but this is what
02:45:15it's like my job, being
02:45:19part of this list, I don't think that now is the time for me to
02:45:22settle back, it's now it makes me feel like
02:45:26we have to do more, I
02:45:29have to open doors for others who
02:45:30come after me, well
02:45:36congratulations on your success, thank you for being here with us, keep watching

02:46:34many things happening, great guests as always, oh beautiful and
02:46:38congratulations, hey my wife watches that
02:46:41series and she is just amazed, amazed, look at that.
02:46:45What great photos they are taking there, well, the emotion, the secrets and
02:46:49the surprises took over
02:46:52who is the mask, a very special Day of the Dead gala and
02:46:55their characters surprised us again, look at
02:46:58this:
02:47:15a program full of Mexican traditions was experienced in
02:47:19who is the mask with a special Day of the Dead show, from
02:47:22the stage, the musical numbers and of course the investigators'
02:47:26outfits transformed into a night to
02:47:29remember.
02:47:39of course, our Catrina, in our very Mexican Day of the Dead, in
02:47:43our beautiful
02:47:45tradition where we remember our loved
02:47:50ones who are no longer with us physically
02:47:54and that and that their soul has transcended, so well, look, the whole forum
02:47:57is also representing this beautiful tradition, it is representing
02:48:01Freddy Mercury, no,
02:48:04this
02:48:07eh, well, I think it's nice,
02:48:10very cool, no, to pay
02:48:13tribute to all these
02:48:17music greats who are no longer with us, and they
02:48:20also paid tribute to important entertainment
02:48:24figures, this traditional Mexican
02:48:26celebration, well, to bring it to life and
02:48:30and and to remember that woman who has been a
02:48:32sex symbol
02:48:50that never, there will be no other nor is there another like
02:48:54Marimo, two triple
02:48:58combats were presented, in the first the investigators chose Alex
02:49:02Loro as their favorite and the public gave their vote to
02:49:05Carmela Tarantela so Octavia Ventoza had to take off her
02:49:08mask, between between Octavia and and
02:49:11Tarantela they were on par, but sometimes one connects
02:49:14more, sometimes one connects less and leaving aside the
02:49:18fact that it is sad that she will not continue inside the mask, I am very
02:49:21curious if she does have it.
02:49:25Behind this great character was hidden the talented
02:49:28actress Ella Belden, in the second combat the investigators
02:49:31saved Dr. Kaboom, the public wanted
02:49:34Patito Feo to continue in the competition. So Kaco
02:49:38Misterle had to lose his mask and behind it
02:49:42was the actor and singer Pablo Ruiz, look, the competition is
02:49:45getting very difficult, I feel that we are already in that program
02:49:48where you had the opportunity, the characters had the
02:49:52opportunity to make us fond of
02:49:55them and it's a very
02:49:59competitive game because every time you go out you have to win over the audience, Omar
02:50:03said it has been one of the most contested votes, next
02:50:06Sunday more mystery musicals surprise. and of
02:50:10course a lot of fun in who is the mask at
02:50:138:7 central on who is the mask, the
02:50:17best kept secret of world
02:50:19television,
02:50:21worldwide, don't
02:50:24miss it every Sunday at 8:7 central and well
02:50:28let's change the subject to something very regrettable, oh very
02:50:31sad, well Alfredo Ríos, better known as El Comander, broke the
02:50:35silence after the death of his son José Eliseo Ríos.
02:50:39just a few months unmistakable, so many people
02:50:42after the funeral held this
02:50:44past October 31st, the
02:50:49singer shared an Instagram video with white balloons in the
02:50:52sky accompanied by the message, we love you my son,
02:50:55everyone, we all love you, thank you for everything, he also published images of the
02:50:58flowers received during the wake and so far the causes of
02:51:01death have not been revealed, a surprise
02:51:05and a tragedy, much, much
02:51:08strength to the whole family, a hug like a hug.

02:53:16boots, this type of skirt when it's three
02:53:20quarters,
02:53:23it's true, wearing it with boots, I
02:53:26love it, and mixing all the leather, the brown colors,
02:53:30you know what I want to tell you, I liked the boots a lot, I liked the skirt, but the
02:53:35the jacket, I need it to be
02:53:36long, because it's not a trend,
02:53:40that's not it, we already saw it, but it's modern and it's young, she's very
02:53:43young, there's something weird there, it's
02:53:47like, is it summer, is it winter, a lord, the
02:53:51navel, in the fall you can still wear,
02:53:55sure, but I don't feel like it's winter or summer, no, autumn is
02:53:57transition, you said it, it's transition.

02:59:25Three reasons to vote yes on Proposition 3. Proposition
02:59:293 keeps vital funds for our
02:59:32schools. Proposition 3 does not raise
02:59:35taxes, it only maintains what the richest
02:59:382% of people already pay, and with strict
02:59:42accountability, every dollar goes to our
02:59:45schools and not to Sacramento politicians.
02:59:48Let's protect our students, let's vote
02:59:52yes on Proposition 3. Ambiguous
02:59:55language is bad in homework and worse in a law. Proposition
02:59:5840 lets politicians expand the tax
03:00:01to anyone at any time. Without
03:00:05voter approval, there are no controls or
03:00:08oversight. Most of the money can stay with health
03:00:11insurers instead of with consultants and
03:00:14clinics. We don't just teach subjects, we teach
03:00:17critical thinking. Join Governor Newsom, educators,
03:00:21doctors and unions in voting no on 40. Temperature
03:00:25brought to you by Dominguez Law Firm in accident

03:00:40There it is, family. Today we are commemorating the Day of the
03:00:44Dead with our altar and this
03:00:46way we bid you good morning and welcome to the fourth hour
03:00:50of Despierta América. And as
03:00:53you well mention, well, this day is a tradition that transcends
03:00:57generations that, among flowers, candles and memories,
03:01:00keeps alive that love for those who are no longer with us. Today, celebrities share
03:01:06our colleague Naomi Hernández prepared
03:01:08for us.
03:01:13In this season, absence transforms into memories, nostalgia fills with
03:01:17colors and love finds a way to come home. Day of
03:01:22remember those who went ahead on the path and that celebrities
03:01:25keep alive through their offerings that invite the return of their loved
03:01:29ones. It's a time to remember our
03:01:32loved ones who have gone ahead on the journey. I
03:01:36put something for my mom and it means remembering my mom
03:01:39primarily.
03:01:42I like the folklore that we have as a culture and
03:01:46well, always remembering those who have
03:01:49gone ahead. Gabriel Soto treasures the memory of his mother
03:01:52in a very specific way: I always
03:01:56put an altar, there's always an altar at home for my mom,
03:01:59there's always an altar with flowers with a candle lit 24 hours
03:02:02and obviously when I go on a trip, no, but when I'm at
03:02:06home 24 hours there's a candle lit with an altar with
03:02:10her photos, uh, well, I put flowers, I put some
03:02:13things that mean a lot to me, this,
03:02:17uh, some clippings when she passed away,
03:02:21some very symbolic things, I always feel them and I always remember her and she is always
03:02:25with me and and even more these days as you say, no, in in special
03:02:28times like Day of the Dead when we all remember the people who have
03:02:32left us, she is always there taking care of me and and well, I think
03:02:36she has been a fundamental part of these blessings that life gives me. Each
03:02:39photograph, each lit candle and each
03:02:42Cempasúchil flower, a
03:02:46memory and a love that does not disappear with time.
03:02:50With gratitude, remembering them,
03:02:53remembering their virtues, their messages and their teachings. I
03:02:57like to make offerings for my grandpa Antonio, my grandma
03:03:00Flor, my other grandpa
03:03:03Joel, I love putting the altar for them,
03:03:07uh, remembering them, always with joy, knowing
03:03:11that we are all going there and that and you know what, and
03:03:14yes, they do like it when you put their bread. Their
03:03:18tequila, no, the candles, all
03:03:21beautiful, yes I make a Day of the Dead altar every year, I put an altar, every
03:03:25year I put an altar, especially for my grandma and for my husband's
03:03:29grandma. We started this tradition relatively
03:03:32recently, I think since I had children about
03:03:3515 years ago perhaps, because my children were the ones who told me, "Mom, why
03:03:39do we never put an altar?" Now, well, I have my grandparents
03:03:43who are no longer here, some aunts, so now it's
03:03:46filling up a bit, the altar, but it's something we do as a family. For
03:03:50Maribel Guardia and Marco Chacón, Julián
03:03:53Figueroa's altar is a tribute to his life, his music and the
03:03:57memories he left in his family.
03:04:00Every year, as long as I can, I will put an altar for my son,
03:04:04because Julián adored that tradition, he always set it up, I
03:04:08always set up a Day of the Dead altar in the house, but he made
03:04:11a special one for his dad, on a table he put everything, he wrote a
03:04:15letter and he ate... his
03:04:17food, he loved the tradition, I will keep it as long as I can,
03:04:21I keep him present in all the things I do, all the
03:04:25minutes of the day, I always think how
03:04:28he would have reacted, his personal belongings occupy a
03:04:32special place on the altar, along with the love of a family that does
03:04:36not forget him, I always put his jackets, his
03:04:39hats, his boots, this
03:04:42paths of light so he can come down, so he can have
03:04:46that day what he thought he was going to have a lot of love, the
03:04:49Day of the Dead has also given Maribel moments of peace
03:04:53in which faith and memories make her feel close to her
03:04:57son, I did feel it last year, you know,
03:05:00that day I was left alone, I don't remember for what reason, on the Day of the Dead
03:05:04I was alone in the house and I started to pray the
03:05:07rosary, look, I always carry Julián's rosary, the Virgin
03:05:11of Guadalupe, here Julián, I started to pray the rosary and I felt so
03:05:15beautiful, I felt such peace and a... I cried, but I cried
03:05:19with happiness, so yes, I felt he was there
03:05:21with me. In every offering lives a
03:05:25story, a teaching also the presence of those who continue
03:05:28to accompany us from the heart, because as long as there is
03:05:32someone who remembers us, we will never completely leave. From Mexico
03:05:36City for Despierta América, I am Naomi Hernández.
03:05:39Thank you Naomi, how beautiful, how beautiful. Listen, and we are going to change tone and
03:05:43topic as Sacha would say, we are going to Mexico
03:05:46City. There, Sivad made it clear who keeps the accounts
03:05:50in his relationship with Alisa Villarreal and his relationship with his daughter
03:05:53Meleni. Could we be witnesses of a
03:05:57communion between you and Melenie? Um, the truth is
03:06:00that these matters are very
03:06:02private.
03:06:06Um, these positions are very private, everything is very good, that's all I can tell you, what people can
03:06:10interpret, what people outside can interpret, well, everyone
03:06:13judges as they want, but there is a good relationship with Melenia then, yes, everything is
03:06:16fine, everything is fine. Hey, it was rumored that you wanted to get into a royal
03:06:20ring with Carmona with
03:06:24I don't fight with old people but
03:06:26put someone else, someone else, but then you wouldn't get into the royal ring with
03:06:30Arturo Carmona? No, no one has proposed anything to me, I don't know if the gentleman has made those
03:06:34statements, I don't have to not get into the royal ring if they invite
03:06:37me, it's not that you're afraid of Arturo, man, no,
03:06:41no, not at all, no, we are happier than ever,
03:06:45we are more united than ever and... the truth is
03:06:48everything is going well and well, God's timing is perfect, we have to be important in
03:06:52saying things as they are, right? And well, I don't have to prove
03:06:56that you contribute to the house, you contribute for groceries, if Alicia gets sick, you take her,
03:06:59yes, of course, besides don't underestimate Alicia,
03:07:03please. It looked
03:07:06weird, very controversial, yes, more
03:07:10clear, he doesn't sing, but they're very happy, that's how it should
03:07:13be, and we're going to change tone and topic as
03:07:17our expert says, because this morning we are truly accompanied by a
03:07:20Latina pride, communicator, actress,
03:07:23presenter, and wherever this great Venezuelan woman
03:07:27is, good humor arrives and I say.
03:08:00in other ways, it has the name of your podcast, it has the name of
03:08:05have done lately has been in self-defense, and one of the most
03:08:09important things I have done is to defend myself,
03:08:11to defend myself, but from myself, and that is the conclusion that I have more or less
03:08:15drawn from almost 8 years of podcast, interviewing wonderful
03:08:19well, have had the courage to talk about
03:08:22their reinventions and men too, but let's say that men
03:08:26were incorporated into the podcast much, much later.
03:08:30I wanted to be equitable and a man comes one year, one
03:08:34year doesn't hurt, versatility, versatility, and then yes, once a
03:08:37month I do receive the male voice because I also talked for a long time,
03:08:41we talked for a very, very long time alone or among ourselves,
03:08:44rather, and to incorporate the male voice to see
03:08:48how we reconstruct and mend our own relationships too,
03:08:52right? So that was the idea of having men like
03:08:55that, so well, happy to have the book to
03:08:58present it to you, so what do you want to give your readers with this book?
03:09:02Well, this book really
03:09:04is not only my story of reinvention, which I have
03:09:08been able to tell part of it throughout the years, it is also the story of many of the
03:09:12women who have been there, one of them, Luz María Doria, Francisca was also
03:09:15there, so many women, look, there are more than 300 interviews that
03:09:19I have done, and what I want them to take away is inspiration, because it is not only
03:09:23my story, it is the story of other women too, that they take away
03:09:27tools, tools and that they know
03:09:30had to reinvent myself many years ago, when I came here
03:09:34to the United States, I started to look what the process was about, I had no
03:09:38idea Carla, I looked on
03:09:41bookstores, an Instagram post, whatever, and there was nothing that was
03:09:452018, so the idea of the book is that anyone
03:09:49who needs to reinvent themselves today knows that
03:09:52there are steps they can take, let's say,
03:09:56applying in their life, it doesn't have to be the same as mine, it doesn't have to be the same
03:10:00as anyone's path, but that well, they know and can ask
03:10:04important questions and that they can do things in life
03:10:07to change their perspective. Erica, you are a woman who comes from
03:10:11traveling Venezuela, in our
03:10:14country with television programs, with radio
03:10:17programs, you came to this country, uh, this self-
03:10:20defense thing, why do you give that name to your podcast, where
03:10:24did you get it from? Well, I always felt
03:10:27Raúl that I had to...
03:10:30defend myself, I don't know from what, but I had to defend myself, I was in that attitude all the
03:10:33time, defend, defend my position, defend my place, fighting against
03:10:37the world or the world against you, exactly, it was like that
03:10:40mentality that the world was against me and I was alone here to
03:10:43defend myself, and what I have been able to do and what I have been able to reinvent is
03:10:47one single idea, the
03:10:49world is not against me, the world rather works in my favor and that
03:10:53changes everything, just that belief, just that way, that
03:10:57perspective of seeing life well, it made many things
03:11:00in my life change, I made decisions that I had not dared to make
03:11:04or see things about myself that I had not dared to see.
03:11:07So well, now I think that life and I flirt
03:11:11together, we make life together. In the book you talk about competition,
03:11:16women, you know that has changed over the years, do you think it has
03:11:20changed? I do believe definitively
03:11:24because I felt before that we guarded our positions
03:11:27very much because it had cost us to get
03:11:31there and I think now there is a somewhat more voluntary
03:11:34attitude on the part of women to help each other, to create
03:11:37community, because we have learned that it is important to create community and not
03:11:41be talking alone and pushing alone, because we don't get very
03:11:44far. I believe that together we get much further and we manage to make
03:11:48changes not only in our lives but in our communities
03:11:51and in our cities and countries, no, it's an impact that
03:11:55keeps growing, first you have to change yourself, then the women around
03:11:58you, hold on to more.
03:12:01So, to get those changes we want to see in the world going, so
03:12:04the time has come to reinvent yourself, but you are reinventing yourself all the time, so it's not
03:12:08time, every minute, second, when you do it
03:12:11once, keep doing it because you realize you can
03:12:15keep designing a life that you truly feel
03:12:18happy with. How many of us are out there with lives that
03:12:21oh, we're uncomfortable, we don't fit in, we're angry, I'm bitter,
03:12:25this happened to me, look what this person told me, they're to blame, and
03:12:28the truth is the power to change that life is held by each
03:12:32one of us, we simply need the tools, the
03:12:35inspiration, the motivation and to look at ourselves and say,
03:12:39oh no, wait, I'm the one who has the responsibility.
03:12:43No one else has it, and when does the book "In Self-Defense" come out?
03:12:46Tomorrow. Emotion, you
03:12:50can find it on Amazon, of course, you can go to
03:12:54ericadelavega.com, all the information will be there, because we're also going to
03:12:57have an event on December 8th in Miami, all of you are
03:13:01invited, of course, to come to the
03:13:04talk with our friends from Penguin Random House. Someone will be
03:13:07with me, I don't know if you know who it is, it's
03:13:10a woman that well, many people know, it's Luz
03:13:13María Doria. More
03:13:16or less,
03:13:19more or less we know her as having a bossy voice, like we see
03:13:22her daily, but look, I love it because the
03:13:25time has come to reinvent yourself in self-
03:13:29defense.
03:13:30Really,
03:13:36thank you very much and well, I hope it will be very useful for all those
03:13:40who want to read it. We're going to send
03:13:42it to Victoria Rufo because she reacts to the
03:13:46separation of her son José and Paul
03:13:49and you're going to see everything she said obviously here without
03:13:51a fuss. Former President Peña Nieto and his family fear
03:13:55the secrets that Angélica Rivera could reveal in her biopic.
03:13:58Paulina Peña Nieto also reacts without a fuss.
03:14:02Stay with us, now we are stronger, closer, more together than
03:14:06tomorrow in self-
03:14:08defense.

03:18:25by Univision. Thank you for continuing with us on Despierta América.
03:18:28After a Halloween weekend where many of us ate more sweets
03:18:32and sugar than normal, how can
03:18:35we counteract those excesses? Well, today Doctor Juan is going to tell us what to do to help
03:18:39our body recover and get rid of everything we ate.
03:18:43Doctor, good, and you at home? I ate churros, I include myself.
03:18:46Churros, and I ate this weekend, I ate churros
03:18:49and I ate also the pecan
03:18:53pie and I ate
03:18:55a dessert, Jesse, that I didn't even know what it was, but it had a lot of sugar, so
03:18:59we're going to talk about basically what
03:19:02to do today, what to do this week. Look, this is easy, we can
03:19:06all do it to control not only weight
03:19:09but also blood sugar. Number one, walk 10 to 15
03:19:12minutes. Listen, I know there are many people who are super busy, but your
03:19:16muscles use glucose as
03:19:21reduce the increase in blood sugar
03:19:24after eating. Eat and walk 10 or 15
03:19:28minutes, uh, and hopefully it will become a habit,
03:19:31not just this week. Number two, drink
03:19:35water, avoid sodas, juices,
03:19:38coffee with sugar. Water helps keep
03:19:42you hydrated, although that doesn't eliminate
03:19:45excess sugar, if you are avoiding sodas, if you are
03:19:49avoiding juices, if you are avoiding putting sugar in your coffee,
03:19:53what are you doing? You are reducing the consumption of
03:19:56sugary drinks. That is absorbed
03:19:59so quickly in your intestine that your blood sugar rises in a
03:20:03precipitous way. Drink water instead. Number
03:20:06three, make your next meal much more
03:20:10balanced, include those proteins, vegetables,
03:20:13high-fiber foods. For example, chicken, if
03:20:17you are vegetarian, tofu with
03:20:19vegetables, beans, avoid skipping
03:20:23meals to compensate
03:20:25for excesses, right? So, this week be very diligent,
03:20:29where's my protein, where's my good fat, where's my
03:20:33fiber? We're going to be more conscious, more aware of what's on
03:20:36the plate. Put away the sweets, avoid continuing to
03:20:40snack between meals. We all have, we have
03:20:43leftover sweets, right, from Halloween, so
03:20:46they're already on the table and everyone comes and picks at them. So,
03:20:50it's better not to have them in the house, right, because then you say, no,
03:20:53just one today, just a little bit, and the next day another little bit. No,
03:20:57no, no, no, that was the weekend, it's over,
03:21:01clean slate. Finally, avoid spending too much time
03:21:05sitting down, get up, do household chores, uh, even if they're
03:21:08light, walk a few minutes instead of spending the rest of the
03:21:12day on the sofa, go to the gym, exercise at home,
03:21:16physical activity, 10,000 steps a day,
03:21:19obviously that helps insulin sensitivity and that your
03:21:23sugar is much more
03:21:26uh in control. You know that at
03:21:29Santo Remedio we have an initiative that is
03:21:33to control blood sugar for patients with
03:21:36diabetes, prediabetes or any of us who need to control blood sugar

03:22:59misantorremedio.com, there you have it, subscribe, take advantage of that
03:23:0320% and all the information that will reach you, exactly, there you have it,
03:23:06thank you, doctor, let's go. com,
03:23:19the Univision app and our YouTube
03:23:21page.
03:23:28Well, ready to answer our people's questions, let's start with this one
03:23:32sent by Miriam Silvera 36 and
03:23:35it says hello doc, a question. Why does
03:23:39facial paralysis occur? Facial paralysis
03:23:43basically affects the facial nerve in your
03:23:46face and causes not only paralysis but can
03:23:50cause pain. It can
03:23:53even change the shape
03:23:57of your face, right? It's usually temporary,
03:24:01it's not something that happens permanently because it's not
03:24:04really a stroke, right? It's not a stroke,
03:24:07eh, how is it treated? Basically,
03:24:11that's a person we treat
03:24:14with antivirals, antiviral medications and
03:24:17steroids. That's the treatment for facial
03:24:21paralysis and it usually responds very well to that treatment.
03:24:24What can cause it? A virus can cause
03:24:28it. It can happen to anyone. Sometimes
03:24:32another way or another very
03:24:35common cause is constant stress. It can also
03:24:37cause facial paralysis. These are people who end up in an emergency room because most of them will think
03:24:46it's a stroke, their face is like turned in one part. Hey, for example, before facial
03:24:49paralysis occurs,
03:24:53does it send you some signals that it's coming, or do you suddenly
03:24:57feel your face paralyzed? You suddenly feel your face
03:25:00paralyze. Your mouth can be like
03:25:04to one side. You have eh, no,
03:25:08yes, it can be weeks, it can be more than a month. Sometimes
03:25:11it responds faster to treatment. What is important is that
03:25:15if it happens, you need quick treatment, antivirals,
03:25:19steroids to try to reduce that
03:25:21inflammation in the facial nerve, and the
03:25:25antivirals are in case it's due to a virus, which is one of the quite
03:25:29common causes. Perfect, well, let's go with this other question sent by Rossi and it says:
03:25:33Hello doc, I have a bloated belly especially after eating. My
03:25:37belly looks pregnant, I don't know if it's
03:25:41have to see how old she is too, and I say this because, like women when we are in menopause, I
03:25:45sometimes feel pregnant, but that's also what I think
03:25:48she's describing, bloating, right? It's what in English is called
03:25:52bloating, which is swelling, inflammation, after
03:25:55eating. Look, it can be several things. Number one, it could be that you have some type of
03:25:59mild allergy to something you're consuming in terms of

03:31:10it's an IRA, 401k or pension. That's why
03:31:14firefighters, veterans, small businesses, and working
03:31:18families say yes. Vote yes on 42,
03:31:21protect your retirement and your savings. I am Javier Becerra
03:31:25and I have dedicated my life to fighting for our rights, as Attorney
03:31:29General, I sued Trump and we won. Today I am fighting
03:31:32Trump again, he is interfering in our elections through his
03:31:36candidate and his Proposition 39. Our right to
03:31:39vote is sacred, that's why we have to vote no on
03:31:4339. We are going to fight, we are going to win against
03:31:4639. We are not going to let Trump control our.
03:32:20our daughter and because
03:32:24there is also a lot of love and affection between us
03:32:27for so many years and yes, as Paula says,
03:32:30if we hadn't said it before, it was because we didn't
03:32:33know how to say it
03:32:35either,
03:32:38nor did we know what was going on, but well,
03:32:41just to make it official that we
03:32:45are no longer together
03:32:48eh and well. We will always be
03:32:52attentive to our daughter and that we will continue
03:32:55seeing each other too
03:32:56sometimes,
03:32:59but well, well, that's our
03:33:02report, kisses,
03:33:04hugs,
03:33:11you just heard José Eduardo and Paola Dalai, with
03:33:14that we welcome you or start this "No Nonsense Hot", the guys
03:33:18are ready and well, there they left the message, the first message where they
03:33:21let us know about this separation, but we also have other
03:33:25reactions, a reaction that comes from José Eduardo, we also have what
03:33:29Victoria Rufo says and all this is already trending.
03:33:32Already.
03:33:36How are you? Why did you make this
03:33:38decision? Look,
03:33:41this, obviously it's not easy, it's a decision
03:33:44that was made a while ago, it was
03:33:48analyzed, it was discussed a lot and well,
03:33:52there's a lot of love, there's a lot of affection, but there are things
03:33:55that also unfortunately end,
03:33:58but but well, there's a lot of love and affection.
03:34:02Since before there were some rumors and everything, at that moment
03:34:06they were fine, they were already precisely processing all
03:34:10this, well yes, we were in a moment of ups and downs and
03:34:13well, seeing how we could solve it, José, with
03:34:16all due respect, would you like to share what was the reason for this action? No,
03:34:20as such, there is no reason, it's not like there's a third party or anything
03:34:23like that, this, yes, not at all, there was always a lot of respect in
03:34:27our relationship and a lot of love and there still is and
03:34:31as we said in the statement, we will not be less together because besides we get along very, very well
03:34:35in terms of the child's pension, visits, all that
03:34:39is in order. Will you seek that perhaps the authorities
03:34:42stipulate a visitation regime?
03:34:46This, no, look, as such, we haven't discussed it
03:34:49yet, but what has to be done will be done,
03:34:53and obviously, well, as you can see, I'm here with my
03:34:56daughter, this, and
03:34:59I will take care of everything 100%. There it is. Because
03:35:03the point is to improve things, not to repeat them. No, we no longer
03:35:07live together, so this, but
03:35:10she sees the girl every day, I also see her every day,
03:35:14so we have no problem with that. Well, all I can say is
03:35:17that it's a couple's decision, and couple means it's
03:35:21two. No one has to
03:35:24interfere or say anything. As long as my son
03:35:28is happy, that's the most important thing for me.
03:35:39Exactly, of course, you also have to be very careful with that and
03:35:42not mess with the
03:35:43girl.
03:35:48Thank you,
03:35:52how do you see the declarations, guys? Is there something that we might have missed?
03:35:55He says this verbatim: she
03:35:58sees her every day, which means that the
03:36:01girl.
03:36:05No, she doesn't live with him, he says, she sees her every day, so it's not "I'm going to see her every
03:36:10what is understood in that interview, the girl stays with him and they no longer live
03:36:14together, it also seems that it's been going on for
03:36:18a while, since the rumors started, I think they were already separated,
03:36:21even the girl, even when he went to Spain to record this series,
03:36:25he takes the girl, he says he was there for a whole month, that's where my first
03:36:31what I think when I see this is that she is the one who wants to make the video,
03:36:34in fact the sad one is him, she's like, let's get
03:36:38this over with, so that's the interpretation I give
03:36:41it and obviously the rumors, exactly, that
03:36:45well, there are no rumors because there's the photo where you see him, the
03:36:48soccer player hugging her, which was just this weekend with the Formula
03:36:521, so I think that's why they feel obligated to
03:36:55speak, that happened, she said we have to say that we've been separated
03:36:59for a long time so that people don't think I'm
03:37:02cheating on you, but that we've been separated for a long time. Very polite in these
03:37:06statements, but if we forget, when he was in
03:37:09Spain and they asked him about Paola Adalay, Victoria Rufo,
03:37:13in her own style, said I don't
03:37:16she was doing to him. My goodness. Well, let's change the subject
03:37:20because we also have to comment on this. Alfredo Adame reveals if at
03:37:24some point he was involved in illicit businesses. In addition,
03:37:27he confesses that he was a victim of sexual aggressions and by those
03:37:31who least expect it. Who we least expect. This
03:37:34is super
03:37:35controversial.
03:37:38Of course, yes, of course there were several, several, one day in
03:37:42Morelia we were at the
03:37:45well, the theater is exactly in front of the
03:37:48hotel and suddenly a woman
03:37:52touched me, you know where, much has been said about that, that
03:37:55if it were the other way around, a man to a woman, it would be very
03:37:59difficult, you would report it.
03:38:03On the contrary, many men do suffer violence,
03:38:07harassment, but I suffered harassment, I suffered
03:38:10eh eh, they tried to rape me, three priests and
03:38:14and an actor, and they
03:38:19I hit one priest, I knocked out three teeth of one
03:38:22priest, I beat up another one, and I pushed
03:38:26that actor, I was 11 years old, and I also hit
03:38:29a director of a Marist school many
03:38:33times, teachers, mothers of classmates,
03:38:37this, eh and women,
03:38:40no, in reality, well, yes, that actor is still
03:38:44active, Alfredo, no, no, no, he died 40
03:38:48years ago, that man, he says, oh, I was harassed and everything, he's
03:38:53affect you at all, not at all, when it
03:38:57happens again, which also happened to me, that suddenly they would call you and keep calling you and
03:39:00calling you at 2 in the morning drunk and and well,
03:39:04when it became harassment, I would grab them and say,
03:39:08hey, do it again and there will be problems. Hey, Adame, well, on other topics,
03:39:11I want to ask you about the current topic, the arrest of Inés Gómez Mont. Do you have any opinion
03:39:15regarding this after being a fugitive from justice? No, well,
03:39:19no, this, well, whoever does it pays
03:39:23for it. Some
03:39:24deal,
03:39:28a deal to what? To move money illicitly?
03:39:31Tons of times, tons of times,
03:39:35values, I don't have to do it, those who
03:39:39need it do it, and those who come from scarcity
03:39:42and those who are ambitious and those... and everything, not me. They
03:39:46ask you to launder money with plays, they ask you to launder money with my
03:39:49companies, they ask you for money, this, I mean, they ask you to launder
03:39:53money with other types of things, I have nothing against that, I
03:39:56don't care, I don't do it because I'm not going to
03:40:00risk going to jail for a
03:40:03little money for 10 years,
03:40:06well, Alfredo Adame being Alfredo Adame, he has no brakes,
03:40:10my good each one of what has
03:40:14happened in their life, whether good or bad,
03:40:17invented or not invented, but each person has the right to say what
03:40:22box regarding the current topic, which is Inés Gómez
03:40:26Mont, a very well-known presenter in Mexico who was
03:40:29arrested and taken in 2021, if I'm
03:40:33not mistaken, a fugitive from Mexican justice along with her husband,
03:40:36eh for, well, embezzlement of funds
03:40:40eh received in an illicit manner. And Inés
03:40:44Gómez Mont was not working out of
03:40:47necessity, and that is actually what has been put before public opinion,
03:40:51why a woman who has had everything, from a very
03:40:55prestigious family, why is she involved in that? I think Alfredo
03:40:58Adame has the answer. Alfredo Adame, despite the fact that many may categorize him as a
03:41:02person who suddenly speaks without thinking, I think
03:41:05many of the things he has said are true, that is, if you have solid
03:41:09foundations and you have been proposed 50,000 things, such as the world of
03:41:12theater, to launder money
03:41:16and you don't want to do it, you can't do it, then you avoid this type of situation, there
03:41:20it is, and well, with that I have to go to a break, family, later,
03:41:23President Peña Nieto and his family fear the secrets

03:46:18Family, we're back on Sin Rollo here on Despierta América and the question is,
03:46:22does former president Enrique Peña Nieto and his family
03:46:26fear the secrets that Angélica Rivera could reveal in her
03:46:29biopic? We have the reaction of Paulina Peña Nieto, Peña
03:46:32Nieto's daughter, of course, about what her
03:46:36stepmother, actress and former first lady Angélica Rivera,
03:46:39could reveal. This is red hot.
03:46:42What do you think about the fact that the
03:46:46series about Angélica Rivera's life is already
03:46:49being prepared? Yes, she told me and I'm happy and I hope it's a great project and that it
03:46:53goes very well for her. Will you appear in it, that is, your character? Well, I don't know,
03:46:56yes, it seems so, it seems so, the
03:47:02dad will be mentioned, oh yes, yes, we'll
03:47:05see how it goes,
03:47:09well, you know, it's going to be a series, I'm imagining
03:47:12something like Juan Gabriel, something
03:47:15nice like that and I think it will be a good story. Have you already discussed this with your dad? Does he know
03:47:19that this series will appear? Yes, we are all here and he has
03:47:22authorization to use his name and you will also know,
03:47:26I mean, I don't go into so many details because it is a completely different
03:47:30image independent of me, but well, and have you been able to talk to her and
03:47:34find out a bit about what she's going to tell? Precisely, she can't say anything yet.
03:47:37There was a party at Los Pinos that got out of control, this could
03:47:41also be touched upon. years for them. How was
03:47:44mentira, lo desmiento totalmente para tipo porque sofía
03:47:47ha manifestado tanto e sofía,
03:47:50all
03:47:54this for you? Well, I had already told
03:47:58you, like any child of any public official, they have their responsibility
03:48:02and yes, I think they were very young, there was violence
03:48:05between them, we have to remember something, a series is also made with some
03:48:09fiction, like Luis Miguel, Juan Gabriel, we'll have to wait to
03:48:12see it,
03:48:16thank you, thank you,
03:48:19so spoke Paulina Peña Pretelini, the daughter of the
03:48:23former president Enrique Peña Nieto, now guys, I see that she
03:48:26is clear, right? It's like the whole family is clear that this
03:48:30video series is going to take place, that they can talk about them, I would love
03:48:34to see that series, obviously, it's not necessary for them to put
03:48:37the morbid or
03:48:41controversial detail, because the situations will be
03:48:44rehashed, definitely, I think that
03:48:47yes, as this young woman is saying, it's quite clear that
03:48:51yes, they have to include fictional elements, but also many things have been
03:48:54registered in the media that have generated the
