00:00:00let's talk about the measels
00:00:09You have been placing nearly all the blame uh
00:00:12on the COVID pandemic and the way that the
00:00:15US responded to it squarely with Dr. Fauti,
00:00:19but of course he worked for President Trump. Does President Trump
00:00:22also deserve some of the blame?
00:00:26Well, President Trump, as you recall, wanted to...
00:00:30"and the lockdowns, I think the the thing that did the
00:00:33most damage to our country was the lockdowns, the
00:00:37lockdowns that shut down 3.5 million
00:00:40businesses in our country with no due process, no just compensation, all
00:00:44of our churches closed our schools and our
00:00:48children are still paying the price for that, and
00:00:51yet we had the worst outcome of
00:00:54any country in the world, how so we have the highest death
00:00:58rate from COVID of any nation."
00:01:00Well let me just let me just say because I've heard you say that before on the death
00:01:04rate from COVID um it's not accurate
00:01:07because
00:01:09public health experts say that there is a combination of
00:01:12factors that went into that, higher rates of chronic illness is, which
00:01:16I know you would agree with, gaps to our healthcare system and
00:01:19misinformation about vaccines, you just said what
00:01:22I said was inaccurate, what I said was accurate, we have the
00:01:26highest death rate from COVID,
00:01:30there are other countries that had higher, but you can
00:01:32argue about why we had
00:01:35that, but um, you nobody can
00:01:39tell you, mean we have, as you say, we have the highest chronic disease
00:01:43bird in the world, but anthony found she was
00:01:46mismanaging the covid pandemic and he was doing it under
00:01:49the biden administration, president trump wanted to end the
00:01:53lockdowns and in fact in Anthony's
00:01:56diaries he talks about how president Trump is calling them
00:02:00every day trying to get them to reopen the country. yeah,
00:02:04well, the lockdowns were done by governors. mean,
00:02:07certainly Anthony Fouchy and the president had opinions, but the lockdowns
00:02:11were done by governors and largely because and largely
00:02:14because largely because they were hearing, they were
00:02:18hearing from hospitals saying that their ICUs were
00:02:23study after study after study, it's one of overrun and they needed some help while that was happening. that's not true. that's just not true. you're saying
00:02:27it's not true. no, they were doing it because Anthony.
00:02:30was telling them from the top, you need to lock down, there
00:02:34were ICUs that were empty all over the country, including in New York
00:02:38at the height. I i'm asking you, going to
00:02:41go back to what I asked you at the beginning, which is President
00:02:45Trump, and he was the guy in charge, and he
00:02:49you tweeted back in 2024
00:02:52that he let bureaucrats like Anthony Fauti
00:02:56shut down the entire country, um, again,
00:03:00he the president was in charge, the president was trying to reopen the
00:03:03country when he left, the country
00:03:06was state was kept closed for another year, almost a year and a half
00:03:11something that you cannot show me after that. let's talk about how to prevent the next pandemic um,
00:03:15because there's a lot of litigating and relitigating that I don't think is really
00:03:19helpful to do with regard to COVID, and the
00:03:22question is about uh so-called gain of function,
00:03:26which uh, for people who aren't entirely clear about it,
00:03:30"it is, it is a highly risky research process that
00:03:34includes manipulating virus to study how it
00:03:37behaves as it evolves. now what scientists say is
00:03:41that, although it's controversial, it's necessary to prepare
00:03:45for the next pandemic to get ahead of it, to figure out what
00:03:48these viruses can do. um, what you want to
00:03:52end this gain of function research? some scientists
00:03:55say, isn't it better just to put better guard rails around
00:03:59it?" "people have been trying to put guard
00:04:03rails around it for generations and it hasn't worked and
00:04:06clearly COVID-19 pandemic and many other
00:04:10global pandemics that we have have come from gain of function
00:04:14research, the RSV
00:04:17epidemic that we have that is the biggest killer of kids in this country
00:04:20today came from these kind of experiments, the
00:04:24lime disease almost certainly came from this kind of
00:04:27research, so '
00:04:30"and the scientists, who you say are
00:04:33experts, are making the argument that this is
00:04:36necessary for pandemic response, cannot
00:04:39point to one instance in history where
00:04:43research that came out of this kind of experimentation
00:04:47as actually provided us something
00:04:50beneficial, so how do you prepare then, how do you prepare for the
00:04:53next pandemic? I mean, that's literally part of your job now,
00:04:57because experts think it's going to happen within the next 10." years again,
00:05:00yeah, I mean, I think we did everything wrong the last time,
00:05:04so what about now, the principal thing that we need to do is we need to
00:05:08listen to what's happening to doctors on the ground, there are
00:05:1250'. million frontline physicians around the
00:05:14world, they're mainly now connected through the
00:05:18internet. we can tell on the front lines, what's working and
00:05:21what's not. if we had listened to those
00:05:25doctors during the COVID pandemic, we would have saved
00:05:28potentially millions of lives. there were
00:05:30therapeutics out there that were working, there were doctors
00:05:34that were having no deaths from COVID, and treating in some
00:05:37cases thousands of patients and we weren't listening
00:05:41to them and said we were doing... opposite, we were shutting them
00:05:44down, and then the other thing that I would say
00:05:48is that um, we need to protect our constitutional
00:05:51rights, that that is the primary
00:05:54obligation,
00:05:56what does that mean? well, during covid, we completely dismantled our constitutional rights,
00:06:00we began censoring people and violations,
00:06:03but you're saying what not to do, I'm asking what to
00:06:06do, but I, but I want to talk about, well that's something to do, that's that is the
00:06:10number one priority. we protect the constitution,
00:06:14the constitution was forgive me, but you're just you're talking about rights and
00:06:18I'm asking about a potential public health
00:06:21crisis that is that is coming, but I do want to
00:06:24let's, and one of the mistakes we made in the last
00:06:27time was suppressing those rights so people
00:06:30weren't being heard, the doctors who were saying you're doing it
00:06:34wrong, were being marginalized and
00:06:37villified and because because again I really want to
00:06:41move on, but Yeah, of course, because you were
00:06:44part of the problem, no, I wasn't part of the problem, it was
00:06:47absolute press malpractice, you were
00:06:50allowing your job, your job, your job is
00:06:54fear skepticism toward authority, and you weren't
00:06:58doing that, you were
00:06:59beating,
00:07:02no, okay, are you going to, you want to sit here and attack me or do you want to have
00:07:05conversations about public health, I'm not attacking you, I'm asking questions
00:07:09about how to prevent the next question, and I'll tell you. what I'm trying
00:07:13to do, but I also don't want to use
00:07:16this interview to allow you to say things that aren't
00:07:20entirely true, you're talking about therapeutics, fine, it is also
00:07:23factually true that the COVID vaccine
00:07:27worked, the COVID vaccine prevented deaths, there is data
00:07:30upon data upon data,
00:07:34please, because this is something that is happening as as we
00:07:37speak, the cases protected
00:07:41children. "I think that what I have talked
00:07:44to scientists and doctors about scientists, can you look, can you
00:07:48show me one study? Yes, I can, that shows that I
00:07:52can, children were protected by the COVID vaccine. I, I can tell you that
00:07:55there are vaccine did more good than harm to children. Can you show me
00:07:59one study that shows that? I can tell you that when it comes to the
00:08:03vaccine, there have been studies that show that because of
00:08:07vaccine disinformation, disinformation, there could have
00:08:11been 100 to..." lives in the US
00:08:14saved, but because people didn't get the vaccine, that's
00:08:18why I'm not saying that it
00:08:20saying nonsense, you are saying
00:08:24a single, I am not saying
00:08:26nonsense, talking told you,
00:08:30excuse me,
00:08:34no, what studies are you talking about, you're talking about studies that actually don't
00:08:37exist, I want to talk about, you're
00:08:41talking about it,
00:08:43study me the study, this is not productive, I am not here to
00:08:47defend all of the let me finish, talking nonsense, making assertions
00:08:51you can't support, and then when I call you on them there, you're telling me
00:08:54that I'm arguing, okay, you want to talk about, you want to talk about assertions that you can't
00:08:58support, I'll get there in a second, let me just
00:09:01say for the record that I am not saying that the entire way that
00:09:05the COVID uh reaction was accurate, it
00:09:08was a scary time and people made mistakes
00:09:11absolutely. scaring people, why are you saying that?
00:09:15because that was the job of CNN, okay, was to put
00:09:18the kyrons up about how many people are, we were trying
00:09:22to be, we were listening to the leaders in this
00:09:25country, including the president who had a daily press conference,
00:09:29explaining what was going on and trying to
00:09:31listen,
00:09:33actually, were you reading the science yourself, the measles cases in the
00:09:37US just reached a 35-year high, the
00:09:41second uh, record breaking year in a row,
00:09:4493% of these cases are among the unvaccinated. the
00:09:48outbreak is happening on your watch, and
00:09:50even be before becoming HHS secretary for
00:09:54years, you've been one of the leading voices questioning
00:09:57the efficacy of vaccines. do you accept some
00:10:00responsibility for this measel's outbreak?
00:10:04absolutely not. first of all, this is an international
00:10:07outbreak, so and we're doing better at
00:10:11handling it than any country in the...
00:10:13Mexico has 15 times the amount of measles per
00:10:17capita that we have, Canada has four
00:10:20times,
00:10:22England has two times that I call. those measles outbreak,
00:10:26you're the most famous, i cause, and i cause 137,
00:10:30cases, you're the most famous vaccine skeptic on the planet,
00:10:33let me tell you, because actually anthony faulty in his
00:10:36diaries answers the question about why we're having a measles
00:10:40outbreak right now, the reason we're having a miss outbreak
00:10:43because the covid lockdowns, because people didn't like
00:10:46children during that period did not get
00:10:49vaccinated, and in his diaries he says
00:10:53this is going to cause massive outbreaks and measles and
00:10:56more children, he says this are going to die, let me finish cuz you could accuse
00:11:00me of something, let me didn't, i asked you a question,
00:11:04yeah, let me give you the answer, he says in his diaries,
00:11:07more children are going to die from measels because of these
00:11:11lockdowns than covid, so if you want to
00:11:14know and that age group that should have got the MMR when
00:11:18they're 18 months and didn't get it, they're the ones being
00:11:21infected, the people in this country and we have stopped
00:11:24the... outbreaks at record speed in South Carolina, in
00:11:28Texas and Utah, in Virginia. We've done
00:11:31better than any country in the world. I dispatch immediately the epidemic
00:11:35intelligence services to those states, I get on the phone with the
00:11:38governor and we stop them in their tracks, nobody else has been able to do that. You have
00:11:42bully bl. Let me tell you just one last thing, go
00:11:45ahead. The the communities that are
00:11:48suffering from mezels are almost
00:11:51all religious communities that just don't vaccinate. the the
00:11:55menonides have not vaccinated since 1796 since Edward
00:11:59Jenner invented the smallpox vaccine,
00:12:02you it's hard to blame that on me, as much as you want to blame, no, I don't want to blame you, I'm
00:12:06asking you because you have very powerful voice on these issues for
00:12:10people who are skeptical that, let me finish, let me finish, and I've never
00:12:13questioned the efficacy of the MMR vaccine, okay, let me, let
00:12:17me finish, what I want you to do is please use
00:12:21your bully pulpet to right now, as we're getting close to back to school,
00:12:25say, are you willing to say to parents who have not
00:12:29vaccinated their kids that they should vaccinate their kids for
00:12:32measles because it is safe and it will help them save
00:12:36their children's lives. i we tell people on my
00:12:39websites, my public profe say right now that
00:12:42people parents should get their children vaccinated for
00:12:45measles. measle vaccine is
00:12:48effective, it it stops mezels in about
00:12:5197% of the cases, but people should get.
00:12:55vaccinated, can I ask you, the Wall Street Journal reported that the president is
00:12:58pressuring you to conduct studies probing the link between
00:13:02vaccines and autism, is that true? did you
00:13:05say probing the link? that what what the
00:13:08wall, I'm just quoting the Wall Street Journal, that they that the president
00:13:11wants you to go further to probe the link
00:13:15between autism and vaccines, he certainly
00:13:18does. okay, now
00:13:21have you talked to him about medical research that have studied this?
00:13:25for 25 years and found no link between autism and
00:13:28vaccines, and and and just this is my question here,
00:13:32because I don't want to litigate that. My question is, why not,
00:13:36because you are HHS secretary now, why not
00:13:39study what could cause autism, which scientists do
00:13:43believe starts with fetal brain
00:13:46development. Why not do some studies on that, whether there's
00:13:50your environmental lawyer, whether there are environmental factors that
00:13:53go into cont'. to a predisposed genetic
00:13:57situation? let me say this first, we're doing all
00:14:00those things and as one of the ways that we found tyenal, there's
00:14:0373 studies out there and
00:14:07tynal exposure during later pregnancy and during the
00:14:10perinatal period to to artist
00:14:13monset,
00:14:15but you are wrong when you say that this issue has
00:14:19been studied, it has been studied and you're rolling your eyes
00:14:23and I don't want to, I don't want to have you use our
00:14:26air to say this, there have been more than 40 studies involving
00:14:305.6 million people to conclude there is no
00:14:33link between vaccines and autism, this is the head of the committee of
00:14:37infectious diseases for the American Academy of people, now let me tell
00:14:41you what the Institute of Medicine is says,
00:14:44which is the National Academy of Sciences, which is
00:14:48the ultimate arbiter on vaccine safety and which it does not
00:14:52have an interest in this debate, it says:
00:14:55none of the eight vaccines that are
00:14:58administered during the first six months of life have ever
00:15:02been studied for relationship to autism and
00:15:05found two studies, one on the DTP
00:15:08vaccine and show that it does cause autism
00:15:12and one on the hepatitis B vaccine, that again
00:15:15suggests that it does cause autism. the institute of
00:15:19Medicine dismissed those two studies because they were based on CDC's
00:15:23database, studies that you're referring to are
00:15:27all for one vaccine, the MMR vaccine or one
00:15:30ingredient thy marosol, so you are using, you are actually
00:15:34looking at, you're starting new studies to try to link...
00:15:37but you're also telling me i'm not trying to link autism to anything, i'm trying to find
00:15:41out why has autism gone
00:15:44from also trying to find out how it interacts
00:15:48with people's dna, what's predisposed
00:15:51to uh to to have autistic child? are you doing
00:15:54both? yeah, but but you probably don't
00:15:58understand this because you're not a scientist, but
00:16:01jeans don't cause epidemic, i understand jeans
00:16:05epidemic vulnerability.
00:16:09environmental, that's what I'm asking, are you studying the environmental at all the different environmental
00:16:13exposures, but your statement, you have been
00:16:17fooled, your statement that this has been studied
00:16:20is not true, it's
00:16:21categorical, it is
00:16:25considered, considered by who, by
00:16:29every scientist who has studied this, that is not true,
00:16:32I can give you hundreds of scientists who have looked at this, so on the
00:16:35one hand, do you understand why?
00:16:38national academy of sciences, what greater authority? do you understand why
00:16:41people are not getting measles vaccines? because you're hearing you say that it could
00:16:45cause you're trying to change the subject i'm not, it's very much related,
00:16:49show me one of the studies that's been done on the first eight the
00:16:53vaccines during the first six months of life, you will not find them.
00:16:57the national academy of sciences say if that's the case why are you telling people to
00:17:00get the mazel because that is one of the
00:17:03vaccines that has been studied,
00:17:06okay? the only one that has been studied, do you want
00:17:10people to get the the MMR vaccine? yeah, I
00:17:14said that already. okay, so I know you're flustered now, and it
00:17:17is, I don't, I'm not fltered at
00:17:19all,
00:17:22honest with the reason I'm frustrated is because I, you are
00:17:25the HHS, you are the HHS secretary,
00:17:29and you are talking about things that that
00:17:33that lead to vaccine hesitancy in this
00:17:36country and... and it is
00:17:39something that causes problems for
00:17:42people when there is not anything, let me ask you
00:17:44something, do you see your job
00:17:48as ending vaccine hesitancy or do you see your job
00:17:51is telling the truth to the American people? I see my job is telling the
00:17:54truth, and the truth is that there is is
00:18:00the most studied things out there in science, you're repeating it like
00:18:04a parot, you're repeating it like a parrot.
00:18:07so I've actually read the science, let's you come back
00:18:11here and debate the science, I'm not debating this video, of course you
00:18:14want, all you know how to do is repeat
00:18:18things that people told you and say trust the experts, that's what you do
00:18:22during covid, now we know that Anthony Foucie who was the
00:18:26expert was lying about everything, about mass, about the
00:18:29social distancing, about natural immunity, about the
00:18:32transmission from the vaccine, about the
00:18:36source of COVID, he was lying and you were punishing
00:18:39people for not trusting the experts and now you're rolling out the
00:18:43experts again to talk about something that you have no
00:18:47personal knowledge of. okay, well guess what, that is my
00:18:51job to talk to people, your job is to
00:18:53talk, yes, yes, and my job is to get as much
00:18:57information as i can, and what we were
00:18:59doing,
00:19:01skepticism,
00:19:04in covid and and still with regard. to these
00:19:07vaccines is getting the best information, the best science that we
00:19:11can, and putting it out there, and sir, you what you are doing
00:19:15is causing information to be out there that
00:19:18is not accurate, was lying to you, the National Academy of
00:19:21Sciences, which you just cited in November
00:19:25said, we support the statement that vaccines do not cause
00:19:29autism, this is the National Academy of Sciences that you just talked
00:19:32about, look at the National Academy of
00:19:35Science most recent report, Okay, and you'll see. I don't, I, I, I
00:19:39want to ask you one other question, because it's something that really did help
00:19:43Donald Trump get elected, and that is the Maha Movement, and
00:19:46specifically the question of process foods, of
00:19:50processed foods and uh, the fact
00:19:52that people want to feel that their food is safe. My understanding
00:19:56is that you're pushing for reforms on food safety and
00:19:59ultra-processed foods that have been slowed, in some cases
00:20:03blocked by people in the administration who are working on behalf of the
00:20:06industries. true?
00:20:10no, that is not true. so you feel that you'll be
00:20:13able to get these reforms done without any problems? i think the
00:20:17grass, um, the two big reforms that you're probably talking about is
00:20:20ultrapocess food definition, exactly, and
00:20:24the grass standards, and they've both gone through extensive interagency
00:20:27process. i'm very confident that we will get them
00:20:30both out there within probably a month. well, i'm sorry that
00:20:34this uh, and that's good news for people who are very. moms
00:20:37and I'm one of them who are very worried about making sure
00:20:41that our kids eat food and we eat food that is that is healthy, um,
00:20:45I'm sorry that this turned into a
00:20:48very contentious convers'. and um my
00:20:52job is to try to get the best information out
00:20:55there and it does concern me when um you
00:20:59come in and say things that have
00:21:02i take what you're saying have been yeah
00:21:05people who have science scientific backgrounds
00:21:09and have tried to talk to you as well thank you for
00:21:12coming
00:21:14in

00:21:38I'd do it better. Ožujsko beer, like everything else here,
00:21:41originated from the "I'd do it better" mentality. They made a
00:21:45super ad again for Ožujsko. Oh, I'd
00:21:48do
00:21:50it better.
00:21:55Today we are talking about problems that are very common: fatigue,
00:21:58exhaustion, muscle cramps, stress, and
00:22:02poor sleep. With us is Dr. Jasmina Ćorović
00:22:05Kuburović, better known as the heart doctor. Good day,
00:22:08Doctor. Thank you for the invitation. These symptoms are
00:22:11often a sign that the body lacks magnesium, but it is one of
00:22:15the most important minerals for the proper functioning of muscles and the nervous
00:22:19system. but our energy, who is magnesium
00:22:22especially recommended for? It is recommended for people who experience fatigue,
00:22:26feelings of weakness, difficulty moving, as well as cramps and muscle
00:22:30pains, and pains in the shoulders, back, and
00:22:33neck. It is really very important for people who
00:22:37have poor bones, osteoporosis, arthritis, or
00:22:40rheumatism, as well as for those who have hormonal
00:22:43imbalance and therefore increased sweating, then for people
00:22:47who feel restless, irritable, anxious,
00:22:51stressed, who have frequent headaches, decreased
00:22:54concentration, problems with sleeping, and it is also
00:22:57very important for heart problems, high
00:23:01blood pressure, problems with poor circulation.
00:23:04Of course, we cannot forget athletes, diabetics,
00:23:08women in menopause, and older people. Doctor, how does this
00:23:12magnesium differ from the others on the market? Well,
00:23:16first of all, the magnesium in this preparation comes in several forms, such
00:23:19as citrate, malate, bisglycinate, and others, which means that it is much
00:23:23better absorbed and utilized in the body. Precisely because of this,
00:23:26it acts more effectively on muscles, reduces cramps,
00:23:29relaxes the body, helps with fatigue and stress, and therefore this
00:23:33combination does not act on one symptom, but acts simultaneously
00:23:36on energy, reduces fatigue, relaxes
00:23:40muscles, helps the body to completely change
00:23:44that functionality into something much more stable and stronger. If
00:23:47you recognize yourself in these problems, now is
00:23:51the right time to react. Call immediately
00:23:5408050057 and with two packages
00:23:58of magnesium, we are sending you another magnesium as a
00:24:02gift, completely free, with free
00:24:05shipping. This combination is recommended
00:24:08to all of you who experience fatigue, feelings
00:24:11of weakness, difficulty moving, cramps or muscle
00:24:14pain, shoulder pain, back or
00:24:17neck pain, bone problems, osteoporosis,
00:24:20arthritis, rheumatism, stress, nervousness, anxiety,
00:24:24insomnia, headaches and lack of concentration, heart
00:24:28and blood pressure problems, poor circulation and energy,
00:24:32call now and take advantage of the promotion
00:24:35while it lasts because the gifts are in limited
00:24:38quantities. Only today is the 2+1

00:24:55stock. Aspirin Protect 100 milligrams, recommended for
00:24:59people with a high and very high risk of
00:25:02cardiovascular diseases, to reduce the risk of acute
00:25:05heart attack and stroke. Before use, carefully read the drug leaflet for information about
00:25:09indications, precautions, side effects, etc. Consult your doctor or pharmacist.

00:25:32Moving mountains at the push of a
00:25:34button.
00:25:38It might sound like science fiction, but in the Swiss
00:25:40Alps, it may soon become reality. In the
00:25:44Gotthard massif, researchers at the University of Zurich
00:25:47hope to trigger a small earthquake. If
00:25:51it works, it could reveal more about how earthquakes
00:25:54start and whether they can be
00:25:56predicted.
00:26:00All this and more groundbreaking stories.
00:26:12The big moment is just days away. Researchers at
00:26:16ETH University are hoping to do something that's never been
00:26:19done in quite this way before, deliberately triggering a small
00:26:23earthquake.
00:26:26But first, there's still plenty of work to
00:26:28do.
00:26:31A narrow road is 2 and a half kilometers deep into the Gotthard
00:26:35Massif. The
00:26:38range is more than 50 years old and no longer in
00:26:41use. And now it's a perfect natural
00:26:44laboratory. Here the team hopes to make ancient fault
00:26:47deep inside the rock slip ever so slightly. We
00:26:51sind here wegen. We're here because of this fault zone. You can see the
00:26:54boundary here clearly, a thin line. In the
00:26:58middle, there's this very brittle material called fault gauge.
00:27:03That's evidence that the rock has slipped along this fault line
00:27:06before. This is where we're hoping to trigger a magnitude
00:27:10one earthquake. auf diese zone möchten wir ein magnitude 1
00:27:13erdbeben auslösen. A
00:27:16magnitude one quake is tiny, far too small to be
00:27:19felt by humans at the surface, but it could reveal
00:27:22how earthquakes actually
00:27:23begin.
00:27:27es geht darum, die
00:27:28mikrophysik.
00:27:32happens when an earthquake starts, how does the
00:27:35rupture propagate? Why does it continue, and where and why
00:27:39does it stop? If we understand the underlying physics
00:27:42better, perhaps one day we'll be able to make better
00:27:44forecasts.
00:27:47Men and his 70- member team have been planning and
00:27:51building this experiment for five years. They've installed more
00:27:55than 200 sensors inside the mountain, hoping to capture
00:27:58every moment of the earthquake as it unfolds.
00:28:04Here's how they plan to trigger it. The fault has
00:28:06slipped naturally before, producing tiny
00:28:09earthquakes.
00:28:14To reach it, the team has excavated a new tunnel branching
00:28:18off from the Bedretto lab.
00:28:22From here, they'll pump water through three boreholes directly
00:28:25into the fault.
00:28:28As water pressure increases, the rock begins to shift. The
00:28:32existing stresses in the rock are released, triggering micro
00:28:36earthquake.
00:28:40Using six high-pressure pumps, they'll inject around
00:28:432,000 cubic meters of water into the boreholes to bring
00:28:46the fault to the point where it
00:28:48slips.
00:28:50The pump system operates at pressures approaching 200 bar, a
00:28:54demanding test for the equipment and a potential
00:28:57hazard for anyone inside the
00:28:59tunnel.
00:29:02The anchoring systems, they're
00:29:05secured with chains and anchor pins in case the pressure becomes too
00:29:08high and part of the pipe work
00:29:09comes
00:29:13that could be quite dangerous because there's so much pressure behind it.
00:29:27The team checks every sensor and seismic instrument again and
00:29:31again.
00:29:35They want to make sure that all the data will stream live to the control
00:29:39room at ETH Zurich where the experiment will be
00:29:42run.
00:29:45We're about to launch the first full-scale experiment. It's
00:29:47exciting.
00:29:51Two weeks later, the control room in Zurich. In just a few
00:29:55minutes the test will
00:29:56begin.
00:30:01One last systems.
00:30:09It's been a busy night and morning, but everything looks good and we're ready to
00:30:12go. The researchers are
00:30:16optimistic, the pumps are ready and the safety systems are in
00:30:20place.
00:30:23So this button is to manually stop the
00:30:26pump, so we can press this button. Once we have it pressed
00:30:30for about eight seconds, the pumps in the tunnel stop
00:30:32automatically, and this is a safety procedure that will allow
00:30:36to have a bit more control. The
00:30:39last members of the team have just left the tunnel. This is
00:30:43steam to, and that's pressure up by one
00:30:45megapascal. Here we
00:30:47go.
00:30:54The pumps are starting up, forcing water deep into the bore
00:30:57holes.
