00:26:27the miners, we can only hope that this whole situation
00:26:31will not end badly for any of them, that they will come out
00:26:35healthy and alive from that mine, at least those who are
00:26:38protesting underground. For years, we've been
00:26:41witnessing this enormous irresponsibility towards miners. So, the moment
00:26:45Bosnia and Herzegovina signed the Sofia Declaration and committed
00:26:49to giving up dirty energy,
00:26:51dirty energy, nothing was done, they just
00:26:55sat and waited as if something would be done. Journalists,
00:26:59activists, everyone was questioning for years what would happen with the mines,
00:27:03some ideas exist, but no one has ever shown
00:27:06concrete plans. I will remind you for example that in America
00:27:10and Macedonia they closed some mines, they retrained
00:27:13miners for the production of solar panels. That was the
00:27:17idea for Bosnia as well, but no one did anything.
00:27:20It seems to me that we
00:27:23are paying the price of
00:27:26appointing suitable, not capable, people to various
00:27:29positions, that a series of decisions that are made are actually
00:27:33wrong, specifically in the energy sector. Somehow, as I would
00:27:36say, decisions are made haphazardly. Let's merge the mines with Elektroprivreda,
00:27:40let's, I don't know, let's rebuild this block
00:27:44in Tuzla in a way that is not acceptable at that moment,
00:27:47let's, let's stop the block, let's, let's, let's
00:27:50do this. So, all decisions in the last, well, certainly ten
00:27:54years, it seems to me, I'm not an engineer, let's be
00:27:57clear, but somehow following the consequences, I conclude
00:28:01that they were made insufficiently thoughtfully. I won't say stupidly
00:28:04or too quickly, but really insufficiently thoughtfully, and we are now paying
00:28:08that price. Some time ago, for example, a
00:28:11document was circulating which, I cannot say who the author of that
00:28:15document is, but it showed in a very systematic way how
00:28:19Elektroprivreda could solve the problem
00:28:22of households with electricity bills up to 30 marks by installing
00:28:26solar panels on their houses. At that moment, there was a
00:28:29clear, clear mathematical calculation of how much money was needed for...
00:28:41the information that Elektroprivreda and the Ministry of Energy have somehow
00:28:44regulated those documents that define the installation of solar panels,
00:28:47connection to the grid, but we see that everything is going very slowly and I, for example, follow
00:28:51two cases. In Banja Luka, you have Damir Miljević from this

00:28:58Darjan Bilić and the Sinergia Plus association are working on
00:29:01establishing two small energy
00:29:05cooperatives. That's when you install solar panels somewhere with a lot
00:29:08of sun, and two or three households get free
00:29:11electricity from the sun, batteries, and so on, and I think that this synergy,
00:29:15I wrote about it, they even got some money from the European cooperative
00:29:19of energy these are very interesting stories, but we don't
00:29:22deal with that, and our public companies responsible for
00:29:26it, it seems to me, don't use those experiences
00:29:30to improve procedures, to inform people
00:29:33what they can do and how. I will remind you that in Croatia, these
00:29:37energy cooperatives started with people collecting
00:29:40money to build an energy-
00:29:44independent school, make it energy- independent, so it started with these
00:29:47communal facilities, to show people what is possible,
00:29:51how significant and useful it is, but here, not even that is being done, civic activism
00:29:55is not supported, which is really somehow in
00:29:58the public interest and so on. Somewhere, it's as if
00:30:02everyone... as if everyone is pulling in their own direction. The government is concerned
00:30:05with itself, as I said, persistently
00:30:07appointing suitable rather than capable people,
00:30:11citizens are looking for solutions in their own way, activists
00:30:14are trying to somehow help citizens to
00:30:18live as easily as possible in at least some procedures and some
00:30:21areas of life, but it really seems like we don't listen to each other at all, like we're not playing for
00:30:25the same team, exactly, that's right, that's right, that's right, and
00:30:29citizens are suffering, prices, prices are the best indicator. We will return
