00:21:30started long ago, was never completed, so how
00:21:33can we actually believe that this project will be brought to an end if what
00:21:37has been done for decades has never
00:21:40been brought to an end and why start one or
00:21:43the other when the first one is still not finished? Well,
00:21:47citizens are right with that, but we just need to see why some
00:21:51buildings were not built and who participated in
00:21:54creating such ugly narratives, which follow this
00:21:58government. We are talking, I assume, about the building of the Academy of Performing
00:22:02Arts, which was started about 20 years ago,
00:22:05uh, and it certainly needed to be visited on multiple occasions, deadlines were given.
00:22:09That building, the Academy of
00:22:13Performing Arts, will be completed during this year as
00:22:18about ten years
00:22:22of the lives of all
00:22:25Bosnians and Herzegovinians, ten years of opportunities,
00:22:29for example, for the film industry, which is current in the coming days due to
00:22:32the film festival. How much more advanced would we be now, how much more competitive
00:22:36would we be, how many of our students and
00:22:39professors would perhaps be more active in the film
00:22:42industry if they had adequate conditions? We lost about 10 years
00:22:46due to various criminal activities on that object. "and
00:22:50those who are educated and specialized today,
00:22:53unfortunately, don't have much work, especially in recent years in
00:22:57that industry, I agree, so, uh, certain incentives
00:23:02Herzegovina are missing, precisely
00:23:05because of that, the Government of Canton Sarajevo and the Ministry of Culture and Sports
00:23:09uh established the Fund for Cinematography of Canton
00:23:13Sarajevo, they allocated a budget. Is that enough considering that only the canton allocates, and
00:23:17there is no support from other levels of government? No, this
00:23:20is just one pillar that must exist. We are a city of film and we
00:23:24must function in such a way as to provide a pillar of incentives
00:23:28for the film industry. The remaining pillar or

00:23:35the level of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, we cannot expect state

00:25:17by Transparency International. Minister Šteta, in his reaction
00:25:21claims that the Ministry did, however, act according to the law, so then
00:25:24we come to a collision between these two statements. Should
00:25:28the interest of a public, uh, or rather, a private company be placed
00:25:32above the interest of the public that wants to know where and how citizens'
00:25:35money is spent? So, what I haven't read
00:25:39is the judgment of the Cantonal Court. Also, I have been informed, both by
00:25:42colleagues and by media,
00:25:46that the Cantonal Court has returned
00:25:50the case for first-instance decision-making, and I think
00:25:53there is no fear on my part, neither towards Minister Šteta nor
00:25:57the officials of the Ministry of Transport, that they will acknowledge
00:26:00the judgment of the Cantonal Court. The way it is written in the
00:26:04operative part of the same resolution, or rather
00:26:08the judgment itself, Mr. Šteta has
00:26:11participated in the government of Canton Sarajevo, not only this one but also the previous one, which
00:26:15can truly say that it is a transparent government, and we have created
00:26:19excellent mechanisms regarding the issue. But if the
00:26:21talk about transparency is actually hidden from
00:26:24the public, and I don't think it's hidden. If it is hidden, there is no reason of private
00:26:28nature for a minister or an employee or a member of the government not
00:26:32to want it. I specifically ask the question, can
00:26:35the interest of a private company actually be above
00:26:39the interest of citizens? If an obligatory relationship has been entered into with, say, a
00:26:42private company or with the EBRD, the financier
00:26:46of the project itself, that relationship

00:28:40Is there a way for Sarajevo to solve
00:28:43that problem somehow, or will we live with it despite these
00:28:58is much better in the city. So, the adaptive
00:29:02center for adaptive traffic management,
00:29:05a project that is being established, a project that we expect will
00:29:08speed up traffic by at least 30%. So,
00:29:12if someone went from point A to point B in
00:29:1530 minutes, we expect that to drop to 20
00:29:19minutes. But we are still talking about individual vehicles.
00:29:23Is there a way for citizens to,
00:29:25so, leave their cars at home, to rely on
00:29:29public transport to be better organized, to be...
00:29:32more punctual, to be, so, with fewer crowds, so that we can
00:29:36reduce traffic jams that way? Absolutely. So, what we have
00:29:40bought now, that's a small revolution in the region, not to mention Bosnia and
00:29:43Herzegovina, from trams, trolleybuses, buses, minibuses, that's
00:29:47just to cover those lines.
00:29:51However, politics and changing the paradigm of citizens' awareness
00:29:54will happen in the next next steps. For example, it was recently
00:29:58announced that a camera has been installed in a part
00:30:02of Marshal Tito Street that will fine

00:30:34165,000 registered vehicles in Canton
00:30:37Sarajevo) will realize that it is much nicer,
00:30:41much easier, cheaper, to travel by
00:30:44public transport, which is currently punctual, which you also have via
00:30:48an app, clean, tidy, um, which is
00:30:51air-conditioned, rather than sitting in cars
00:30:53and in traffic jams. So that's the paradigm that is not happening
