00:17:39Well, as I already said, we had in parallel with
00:17:42this fire about ten other fires in the wider
00:17:46area of Bihać, starting from the Ljutička valley, up to
00:17:50the settlements towards Kulen, Bakfu, Klisa, Ripač, Vedro
00:17:53Polje, Ružica, so a wider area of the city of Bihać, and of course
00:17:57citizens must, must be aware of that, and this
00:18:01fire, of course, on Mount Plješavica, which at no
00:18:04point posed any direct, I would say,
00:18:07danger to the population or
00:18:11to the settlements that are more than 5-6 km away, in parallel, we
00:18:15are fighting and protecting other
00:18:17objects, property, and the health and

00:18:22citizens.

00:19:47the fires we are talking about and that you are extinguishing were actually caused by human
00:19:49factors? Is that mostly something
00:19:53that is the cause and that
00:19:55tomorrow can be the subject of
00:19:58prosecution? Well, according to my experience, up until
00:20:02now, for about ten years that I have been in rescue
00:20:05and firefighting structures, usually... more than 90%
00:20:09of cases involve human factor, whether it's intent, whether
00:20:12it's negligence. Of course, there are certain natural causes,
00:20:16discarded glass, possibly a bottle in nature, lightning
00:20:19and so on, but mostly man is the cause.
00:20:23Therefore, for that reason, we
00:20:24appeal...

00:20:30a bottle, well,
00:20:33probably many don't see
00:20:36it as a possible or potential reason to cause a fire

00:21:50causes, I would say, of fires. It's probably
00:21:54due to negligence, let's say, that way, but here
00:21:57it turns into unwanted, unwanted fires with
00:22:01large consequences, uh, I honestly,
00:22:05I can say, when it comes to Bihać, so far I haven't
00:22:08received from the relevant services that are obliged and that should
00:22:11act and sanction certain irresponsible
00:22:14behaviors, so far, as far as I know, I haven't received any
00:22:18feedback that such people have been located, reported,
00:22:21punished, and so on. On this occasion, I appeal to all law
00:22:25enforcement agencies, to all inspection and police services, all those
00:22:28who are competent, to work a little more on this, to
00:22:31punish, if necessary, certain irresponsible
00:22:35individuals, because if that's the only
00:22:38way for our irresponsible people to come to their senses, then let
00:22:41it be so, because simply this way it turns out that everyone can do what

00:23:42we all have to be aware that even much stronger countries than Bosnia and
00:23:46Herzegovina, we see that, do not have at one
00:23:50moment enough forces and capacities to be able
00:23:52to respond simultaneously and go to
00:23:56all those fires that simply occur so
00:23:59systematically. Absolutely, so it is a very challenging and dangerous job
00:24:03and your capacities are very limited, as you yourself
00:24:06say. What you are appealing to the prosecution has its
00:24:10place, considering that it seems we cannot appeal to people's awareness
00:24:13and we cannot count, I would say, on people's awareness. Now I
00:24:17would like, considering that you speak very
00:24:20experientially about what it means when you have multiple fire sites,
00:24:24you literally have to choose the biggest one out of all those evils,
00:24:27you don't know how threatening this second one
00:24:31is to people's lives in that assessment. We were

00:24:37fire service, who is retired, talking about
00:24:40the challenges firefighters face. And he drew a parallel between the number of
00:24:44firefighters, which is about 2,000 in total in all of Bosnia and
00:24:47Herzegovina, roughly with the capacities
00:24:50of European countries where fires are currently being extinguished, where every day
00:24:54you have 2,000 people on the ground. So I would like

00:25:02you would practically normally have to rest the people you have,
