00:00:00that does not bring results. Let's start with that and
00:00:03then we can talk about everything else.
00:00:07I asked the previous guest what is actually
00:00:10all that omission that an adequate sanction, how
00:00:14for Serbia and for individuals in Serbia in
00:00:16Republika Srpska who were present at all this, glorified and all
00:00:20those images that we watched.
00:00:23It is certainly not a sanction that Kaja Kalaas
00:00:26will bypass her visit to Serbia
00:00:30this time or Ursula von der Leyen, who will bypass
00:00:33her visit to Serbia in October as part of her
00:00:36tour of the Western Balkans. What
00:00:40then is adequate? Will they resort to some concrete
00:00:44sanctions, well, even freezing funds
00:00:46for the regime in Belgrade, but also sanctions
00:00:49for individuals?
00:00:51That is a concrete sanction. Many are asking for it, those who
00:00:55analyze and read the possible instruments, that is,
00:00:59the application of that. "How could Serbia be scrutinized,
00:01:02because the conclusion is already after
00:01:05the first question, the first statement that it does not
00:01:08produce good results so far, this,
00:01:11but I would not say that it is not a good
00:01:15start to announce the postponement of the visit by
00:01:18Marta Kos. We will see about Ursula von der Leyen. I must
00:01:22tell you that I was constantly in contact with some
00:01:25officials of the European Union, of course, as much as my
00:01:29capacity as a bilateral ambassador allows,
00:01:32but in this specific situation,
00:01:35Belgrade is postponed and then that because Bosnia and Herzegovina as a victim, a victim of genocide committed
00:01:39by Ratko Mladić, convicted of war crimes,
00:01:42that is, genocide against Bosniaks, is the one
00:01:45who asks, and given the situation that not
00:01:49all our diplomatic representatives properly
00:01:51propagate, demand a principled,
00:01:55will is needed, now considering principled attitude from the European Union. A good start, I say,
00:01:59the announcement of delay. But if there is not precisely what you
00:02:02said, that there will be sanctions on the
00:02:06pocket, that is, to say that European funds cannot
00:02:10should be raised to be counted on, that it is not humanitarian aid, that it is not
00:02:13a blank check, that no stabilocracy
00:02:17is bought with that, then in politics
00:02:20and especially diplomacy where protocol is important,
00:02:24where it is the art
00:02:26of presentation, how it is all served and shown
00:02:30to the public is also important. I intervened
00:02:33in one of the cabinets, well, let's not
00:02:36reveal everything now, but we said, no matter
00:02:40who is in power in Sarajevo, given that it is
00:02:44a journalist from Radio Free Europe, on a long-term process, we who currently hold these
00:02:47high diplomatic functions will truly
00:02:51monitor what the minimum
00:02:54level of cordiality towards officials in
00:02:58Belgrade, specifically the president, Vučić, and when it comes
00:03:01to the President of the European Council,
00:03:04Mr. Costa, and of course Ursula von der Leyen, who can
00:03:08be cordial to such an extent that it leaves
00:03:11a wrong impression or a wrong image or
00:03:15even encourages those forces that draw
00:03:18wrong conclusions, instead of delivering
00:03:22a message that says: you are on the brink, you are
00:03:25on the border, you have crossed the border, the freezing of funds
00:03:28truly follows. What you will
00:03:31feel in your pocket will follow,
00:03:34and the freezing of
00:03:37membership negotiations for the European Union for some time. Yes, because
00:03:41if we look at how Aleksandar Vučić balances all this,
00:03:44he did not appear at the funeral, he justified
00:03:48it by saying that he had meetings with the President of Uzbekistan, whose
00:03:51visit was announced, you know, several months
00:03:55earlier, on the other hand, the state stood behind
00:03:58all that. funeral, and then that is precisely
00:04:02the question: can Serbia simultaneously sit on two chairs, will
00:04:05the European Union turn a blind eye to this,
00:04:09Aleksandar Vučić, so that he continues to receive billions
00:04:13of euros from those pre-accession funds, while at the same time leading a policy,
00:04:17you know, that directly undermines both neighbors and glorifies
00:04:20war criminals.
00:04:23That is the real question, dear Ena, so the question from before,
00:04:26we are actualizing it now, sitting on two, on
00:04:30three chairs, and why the European Union
00:04:33tolerated it, especially in the context
00:04:36of enlargement, and when we talk about enlargement, it's not just Serbia, you know,
00:04:40first of all, we have a favorite, you know, here is
00:04:43Montenegro and Herzegovina which does not give up, we
00:04:47have no alternative but membership in the European Union, then
00:04:50if that
00:04:53presence on two chairs is allowed, if
00:04:56the right to warn about such a charade is allowed, that
00:05:00we pretend, I am talking
00:05:03generally about the understanding of the European Union, about the members
00:05:07of the European Union, and the Prime Minister of Croatia, Plenković, reacted
00:05:10well when he pointed his finger
00:05:13at the right things, I might say something more about that later,
00:05:16allow me, but we can no longer
00:05:19pretend that we don't see, that we don't know, that we don't read,
00:05:23no, the European Union must know that we
00:05:26perfectly well understand how
00:05:29President Vučić set this up, we understand
00:05:33and realize that the European Union understands, regardless of
00:05:36the moderate, balanced
00:05:39diplomatic statements or initially... communications that
00:05:43evolved into something sharper stances,
00:05:46that means that the moment has come, here we are returning
00:05:50to those red lines, when we cannot
00:05:54warn that it cannot go like this,
00:05:58business as usual cannot,
00:06:01President Vučić, I read a report,
00:06:04he talked about there being between
00:06:07120 and 150,000
00:06:10people present at the funeral of the war
00:06:13criminal Mladić, and that they as a state provided
00:06:17all the logistics, then
00:06:20we know there were five ministers, we know there were state
00:06:24insignia, we know it was by state plane, we know all these facts,
00:06:27so the European Union can no
00:06:30longer just hide behind a
00:06:34generalized statement, it must go
00:06:37a step further and, what is most important, it must show
00:06:41all of us, because... it will be difficult after some time if everything
00:06:45repeats itself, the departure to
00:06:48cordiality repeats itself, which I say
00:06:51we officially complained about in conversation, I as
00:06:55an ambassador spoke about it, because
00:06:58here the line is already being crossed where you must be a little
00:07:02diplomatically dissonant, you cannot do everything within
00:07:05the parameters that are only allowed to you, you must express
00:07:09your great dissatisfaction, which we have done, and
00:07:13we saw that it is,
00:07:15we don't have exact data, but we have grounds,
00:07:18I talked to many diplomats here in
00:07:21Brussels, that we believe that it is still about some
00:07:25agreement, Aleksandar Vučić, President
00:07:28Vučić agreed not to attend
00:07:31the funeral, but he also received permission to
00:07:35handle everything logistically, ceremonially and
00:07:38protocolarily, and everything else as if it were...
00:07:42that charade, a private, or
00:07:45rather, a family funeral, and yet the state stood behind it,
00:07:49we understand that, that is the message, to conclude with that question,
00:07:52that is our message from Sarajevo from Brussels, we understand
00:07:56that and we cannot accept
00:08:00that we continue in the same way,
00:08:03if you want a change, we all do, then you must
00:08:06change the way you work, yes, but here
00:08:10we are mentioning Serbia now, but the representatives
00:08:12and politicians from the entity of Republika Srpska cannot be absolved, the entire
00:08:16political leadership went to
00:08:19Belgrade for that funeral, both representatives of the government and representatives
00:08:22of the opposition, what could the European Union
00:08:25do, for example, regarding those
00:08:28officials?
00:08:30The European Union has enough instruments for
00:08:33sanctioning, whether it is something harsher
00:08:37or something milder sanctioning,
00:08:39of course, it can
00:08:43be treated as a kind
00:08:46of political or diplomatic outcast in some
00:08:49future period, one cannot communicate with them,
00:08:52after all, by everything they paraded in Belgrade
00:08:55I use that word within this
00:08:59manifestation, they violated the
00:09:03laws of Bosnia and Herzegovina, whoever violates the laws of Bosnia and
00:09:06Herzegovina, in a context where Bosnia and Herzegovina
00:09:10100% accepted the principles and positions
00:09:13of the European Union in terms of aligning
00:09:16our foreign political policy with the European Union,
00:09:19if we have done that, then the European Union should
00:09:23insist on helping us to apply that rule of law,
00:09:27which is a fundamental principle, and
00:09:30it is known how to sanction someone if they have violated
00:09:33the law, such a serious offense, such as
00:09:36denying or glorifying war, denying
00:09:40genocide and war crimes and glorifying
00:09:43war crimes in one way or another through mimicry or
00:09:46openly, you know, it is again about us correctly
00:09:50reading that, all, almost the entire public
00:09:54reads it correctly, I don't want to be a
00:09:57cynic of the kind to say that the pre-election campaign
00:10:01has started in the smaller BiH entity and that they are
00:10:04obviously using it for that purpose, unfortunately,
00:10:08unfortunately, again galvanizing around
00:10:11themselves... That ignorance or insufficient
00:10:15in the process, or rather in the years that have passed,
00:10:18of a process like
00:10:22there was in Germany after the Second
00:10:26World War, the Germans, you know, had denazification, we did not have sufficient
00:10:29education in the region, I will say that, well, that is
00:10:35the European Union, which is in focus today,
00:10:39must not turn a blind eye anymore,
00:10:43and now the question is how it will stop turning a blind eye,
00:10:46you mentioned that judiciary, which is a cancer of our society, the reform
00:10:49of the judiciary is one of the basic conditions for
00:10:52acceding to the European
00:10:55Union. On the other hand, how is it that we have been waiting for so many
00:10:59years, and now at this moment, the European Union can
00:11:03force the judiciary to do its
00:11:06job and implement existing laws, because, in the case of denial
00:11:10and glorification of war criminals, the judiciary is actually not working, it is not
00:11:14filing indictments,
00:11:16how
00:11:19there is a American approach,
00:11:22excuse me, I am in a way an American... guy because I was
00:11:25formed and formatted privately
00:11:28and professionally of course in New York, you cannot
00:11:32constantly expect from someone, no matter that he
00:11:36holds a senior position or
00:11:39institutionally above you that he will solve
00:11:42the matter, you must come with some, I will use
00:11:46a colloquial expression a prepared,
00:11:49well-thought-out story, a request,
00:11:53specifically what you will ask from the one who supervises
00:11:57your progress, your reform, and that must be done,
00:12:00after all, we saw now in this example that if it weren't for a few, I must tell
00:12:04you, brave journalists, both because of your
00:12:07profession and because of my former profession, who were
00:12:11asking Mrs. Pinto, the spokesperson
00:12:14of the European Commission at the beginning,
00:12:18those, so to speak, awkward questions, valid, real
00:12:21questions, the European Union would not have moved
00:12:25things even regarding the statement, I am free to say that if it weren't for
00:12:28us diplomats who on the 27th,
00:12:31Ratko Mladić died, we were already
00:12:34communicating on the 28th, I communicated
00:12:38with five ambassadors,
00:12:41I communicated, I called after a few days I also
00:12:44saw the Belgian Foreign Minister who was the first and only one
00:12:48from the European Union to react appropriately
00:12:51before his departure to Dublin.
00:12:55So, you have to do that in response to your question,
00:12:59that you are constantly present and that you disagree, you are not
00:13:02again an American rubber stamp, a tax stamp
00:13:06that always needs to be noticed,
00:13:09affixed, you say this with all due respect,
00:13:12with all due respect, I disagree,
00:13:15and we believe, we want this to be
00:13:18an effective approach, that's it,
00:13:22yes, when you talk about those reactions, you also
00:13:25took some actions towards certain ambassadors,
00:13:28but we didn't see any special
00:13:31messages from European countries, you know,
00:13:35today we had a reaction from the Bundestag,
00:13:38on the other hand, we don't, we haven't heard
00:13:42the president, I don't know, of France, Spain, nobody has
00:13:45spoken out on this issue to condemn actually all this that
00:13:49is happening. So, it would be
00:13:53best to stick to Brussels here, even though
00:13:57I first called the Croatian ambassador, I spoke
00:14:01with Joško Para, because he is our first neighbor, then I
00:14:04called the German Ambassador, Martin
00:14:08Kothaus, then I called the British Ambassador
00:14:11Anne Sheriff, and she responded exceptionally and
00:14:15sent a personalized letter and of course the Belgian
00:14:19side, I emphasize again, I am a bilateral
00:14:22ambassador, but I must somewhat intervene.
00:14:25with the awareness of the European Union, because frankly
00:14:28speaking, our ambassador to the European Union, who represented
00:14:32us here in Brussels, is part of that fragmented, to say the
00:14:36least, BH diplomacy under the influence of, or with
00:14:39full loyalty to
00:14:42Milorad Dodik, so, we are talking about
00:14:45Mr. Kesić above me, and
00:14:49we must intervene there, the Belgians intervened
00:14:52well, it is up to us... I say not to drop
00:14:56the ball, that's what they say in America, don't drop the ball,
00:15:00we cannot drop it as long as
00:15:04this, I would say, kind of
00:15:07projected, perhaps even intentional moral
00:15:10ambivalence lasts, in real politik, politics,
00:15:13morality may be in another place, certainly not
00:15:16a priority, but it is present, we have
00:15:21it, it is not any whining,
00:15:25after all, if it weren't for those moral reactions of journalists
00:15:28and us diplomats, I assure you, look, I will give
00:15:31you information, yesterday there was
00:15:35a lunch that was prepared by
00:15:38the Italian ambassador to the European Union,
00:15:41they invited Marta Komesar for Enlargement
00:15:44here in Brussels. There were representatives,
00:15:48ambassadors who represent countries from
00:15:50the former Yugoslavia in the European Union. So, I am
00:15:54bilateral and was not invited, but I
00:15:57received complete, one hundred percent information about what
00:16:00happened. And I can tell you that
00:16:03our ambassador to the European Union definitely
00:16:06had a confrontation with the Croatian ambassador
00:16:10about what happened in Belgrade, and from there
00:16:14these strong and correct reactions
00:16:17from Zagreb are a hint of other reactions, because
00:16:21neither the Croats, nor the Croatian ministry, nor the Croatian government
00:16:25will easily let this go, at least that's how we see
00:16:28it at this moment, and
00:16:32we must ourselves
00:16:35promote millimeter by millimeter,
00:16:38we are doing that, that is agile and above all
00:16:42public diplomacy, to transparently publish it through any
00:16:45channel we have, even if it's a
00:16:48social network, but to do it credibly,
00:16:51dates, people,
00:16:54a fact that we can communicate, because sometimes
00:16:58in diplomacy, conversations are held behind closed doors that are not for the public, but
00:17:02the point of the message of those conversations, we must
00:17:05constantly present to the public, dear Ena, I assure
00:17:09you that we have been doing this intensely
00:17:12for about ten days, and above all, I must say
00:17:16here that we are doing this only now, because it is an incident
00:17:20or an ongoing crisis, the chairman of the presidency
00:17:23Dr. Bečilović has been doing this continuously for several
00:17:27years, from New York to Washington and Brussels,
00:17:30I think it is important to do this and have prevention,
00:17:34we behave that way. How important
00:17:37is this in all that we had such a reaction from Zagreb, we heard the statement
00:17:41of Prime Minister Zoran Plenković, Andrej
00:17:44Plenković, who actually said that all this
00:17:48a much higher level, how important is that really,
00:17:51and do you expect greater engagement in the European Parliament
00:17:55in the European Union of the Republic of Croatia on this
00:17:59issue? Absolutely, here is the
00:18:02order of events as it all was. I spoke
00:18:05several times with the correspondent of the Croatian Jutarnji list
00:18:09from Zagreb, Augustin Palokaj, he is my former
00:18:12colleague, I was a correspondent for Jutarnji from New York,
00:18:15and he is that journalist and two other
00:18:18journalists, one is
00:18:22whom Plenković relied, he publicly said that when he read
00:18:26the column of Mr. Palokaj, who is
00:18:29often your guest on N1, that he
00:18:32saw two things that sound an alarm, number
00:18:35one, that that bureaucratic structure, you know, in the office
00:18:39of the spokesperson of the European Union, Mrs. Pinto, 85
00:18:43people work, the European Union covers about
00:18:46400 million people, in the office
00:18:49of the UN, where I spent 30 years, which covers
00:18:53for public relations, for public affairs, which
00:18:57covers several billion people with its
00:19:00announcements, about 15 people work, so that
00:19:03bureaucracy, Plenković said, referring to the colleague's statement.
00:19:07Palokaj knows less and less,
00:19:11relies more and more on some knowledge that is, of course,
00:19:15appropriate to their generation, but we cannot
00:19:18reduce knowledge to generation, we must
00:19:21institutionalize that knowledge, that memory,
00:19:24the culture of memory, precisely as we
00:19:28have, not only us, but it is now urbi et orbi
00:19:31announced to the whole world as an
00:19:33instrument, the resolution of the United Nations General
00:19:37Assembly on Srebrenica,
00:19:39permanent memorials, we must
00:19:43use that as tools, as instruments,
00:19:46"tools" is too small a word, too mild a word
00:19:50for that, but as an instrument certainly, and I think that
00:19:53Croatia, I am sure, in discussions with their
00:19:56diplomats, will escalate, in quotation marks, diplomatically
00:20:00escalate this, with the delivery of new
00:20:03diplomatic invoices, at the very least a warning
00:20:06to the official. Simply, Croatia, Bosnia
00:20:10and Herzegovina at this moment do not agree to the
00:20:13charade that is being served from
00:20:17Belgrade by President Vučić, he
00:20:20tries to continue as before, saying one thing for the
00:20:23domestic public, and another when he speaks
00:20:27with officials, but we also
00:20:31expect that the European Union's top
00:20:34officials, President Costa, President
00:20:39Kaja Kalaas, who is absolutely, we understand this,
00:20:41burdened, has as a priority both Ukraine and relations with
00:20:45Russia, but everyone must understand, including Mrs.
00:20:49Kalaas, that Bosnia and Herzegovina and all that
00:20:52is happening are very much not only a matter
00:20:56of enlargement, the question of enlargement, but
00:20:58a matter of what is absolutely
00:21:02Europe's priority, namely European
00:21:05security. This security here is important,
00:21:08it is important that what happened does not happen again, I hope
00:21:12it won't and we believe and are working to prevent it,
00:21:16but it must be taken seriously. Croatia is definitely moving forward,
00:21:19I can tell you from conversations with Croatian
00:21:22diplomats, when you say, this security
00:21:25is important, do you expect the European Union to stand
00:21:29more behind Bosnia and Herzegovina, you just
00:21:32mentioned that the European Union somehow favors
00:21:36Montenegro, the question also arises, when it comes
00:21:39to these integration processes, you know, then the question arises
00:21:42why, because it gives it a tailwind,
00:21:45despite the internal political turbulences that Bosnia and Herzegovina
00:21:48clearly has. "and it somehow keeps us in
00:21:52that waiting room.
00:21:55Exactly, that is the correct order of
00:21:58words, Ena, I assure you that for
00:22:02a year or so, and that is good news, we have broken
00:22:06that narrative that we cannot complain, and the complaint roughly
00:22:10consists of two things, number one, when you warn
00:22:14Bosnia and Herzegovina that it is lagging behind in European laws,
00:22:17please, do not generally warn
00:22:20the entire state, do not warn all officials,
00:22:23functionaries, do not inform me as an ambassador here in Brussels, because
00:22:27come to my embassy and you will see that I have applied in the microcosm
00:22:30what are called European standards and
00:22:34European norms, so call out
00:22:37and point "name, blame and shame" as Americans
00:22:40would say, and with your finger and more than
00:22:44shame, put on the pillar of shame those who are
00:22:47obstructionists, who are obstructionists. And number
00:22:50two, and we have been talking about this for a long time, we
00:22:54support Montenegro being a favorite,
00:22:57even moving faster towards European
00:23:01membership, we are not at all jealous, we are not at all
00:23:04envious, because in realpolitik we believe
00:23:08and understand that the more Europe there is in the region, in
00:23:11our neighborhood, that means more security for this
00:23:15southeastern part, for our Balkan part of Europe, so we
00:23:18support that, but at the same time, we are already reminding, especially when
00:23:22Ukraine is concerned, which is favored in such a way
00:23:25that it is often said that it should be admitted to the European Union
00:23:29via a shortcut, then not us, but
00:23:32here is a new, different Prime Minister
00:23:35of Hungary, Mr. Magyar said that there
00:23:38should be no favoritism towards other
00:23:42Balkan countries, indeed, first and foremost, we are thinking of Bosnia and Herzegovina,
00:23:46because let's not forget what a bloody war against Bosnia
00:23:50was waged from '92 to
00:23:53'95, about whose reminiscences and
00:23:56consequences, genocide and so on, we are talking
00:23:5930 years later,
00:24:02we forget and favor some, and
00:24:06we forget how our inferno,
00:24:09at least politically, by the highest officials,
00:24:13there are many examples, we won't go back in history,
00:24:17it is certainly put aside, for a year or so...
00:24:20that's about the time, I speak openly
00:24:23about it, there is no echo yet, I must
00:24:27tell you, that it is understood
00:24:30that it is taken as a criterion, on the contrary,
00:24:33I think, well, I am told, do not
00:24:37say that, because Ukraine, Moldova, Montenegro,
00:24:40despite those internal problems, are making
00:24:43progress, and we are, you know, being criticized for those famous
00:24:47two laws, and we who
00:24:50can always say and warn, of course,
00:24:53again with the remark, well, who is obstructing those two
00:24:57laws, which coalition, which connection,
00:25:00and everything is clear.
00:25:02That is precisely my next question based on everything you
00:25:06said, will, you mentioned Ukraine and Montenegro,
00:25:10how then does Bosnia differ Herzegovina, why not
00:25:13turn a blind eye to it, so here's a question,
00:25:17do you believe that the European Union could apply that principle of forcing
00:25:20progress when it comes to Bosnia and Herzegovina, or will it finally start using
00:25:24those mechanisms that will force domestic politicians, those obstructionists you
00:25:27mentioned earlier, into much-needed
00:25:30reforms? The European Union will not agree,
00:25:34first of all, with such rhetoric, such definitions, dear Ena, and if
00:25:38I said so and if I asked for it,
00:25:41there are inquiries, of course, because they
00:25:44are still a large organization, the best place
00:25:48when it comes to human rights. And when it comes to geopolitics,
00:25:51but the European Union is aware that geopolitics must not
00:25:55devour principles, that this
00:25:58must not happen in the epicenter of the Western Balkans, in the epicenter of Europe.
00:26:02Safety, I am not exaggerating, that is Bosnia and
00:26:05Herzegovina. Besides, you have the former Slovenian Prime Minister,
00:26:09Mr. Robert Golob, who at
00:26:12one of the Bled forums said: we must, and he literally
00:26:15said, turn a blind eye to Bosnia and
00:26:18Herzegovina, because it is a matter of our
00:26:22security, it is not just a matter of our
00:26:25goodwill that this is somehow justified,
00:26:29Ena confirms, regardless of all the criteria being met.
00:26:32And when all the criteria are met, when all the clusters are closed,
00:26:36and when therefore, when that
00:26:39technical part is done, then that
00:26:42political decision from all 27
00:26:46countries of the European Union, member states, needs to be
00:26:50confirmed in their parliaments, in their governments, first and foremost, before
00:26:53anything else, that they will not
00:26:57oppose, so that Croatia, for example, will not oppose
00:27:00Montenegro's membership unless "Montenegro does not
00:27:03make any wrong move, wrong nationalist
00:27:07narrative, which would be understood as a threat. We all follow that
00:27:10and their attitude towards minorities, you know there are many Bosniaks
00:27:13in Montenegro, here there are many Bosniaks and Montenegrins,
00:27:17so we follow that, and again, in the end,
00:27:21good political will in that context,
00:27:24we say, when we know that in the end, when all
00:27:27those conditions are met, those homework assignments, that
00:27:30political will..." then let's start right
00:27:34at the beginning, now in the process, let's work on that
00:27:37political will, instead of forcing
00:27:40them, because they don't like, I say, that rhetoric, be
00:27:44mentors, offer them, make an offer
00:27:48that they definitely won't be able to refuse
00:27:51one way or another, when you say
00:27:54good political
00:27:58that we are in this pre-election period, elections are coming, after
00:28:02that... the formation of government, so how do you, from
00:28:05the position of an ambassador, view the development of the situation regarding our
00:28:09European path, the question is when will it be, how
00:28:13long will it take after the elections to form a government,
00:28:16so, if we follow everything that
00:28:19we have witnessed in previous election processes,
00:28:22it takes about four to five months, then
00:28:26does our European path
00:28:29wait with that? My answer to... your question, I
00:28:33don't know, the second answer to your question,
00:28:36I absolutely must not get involved in that for the simple
00:28:40reason that I don't have enough indicators, and I am preoccupied with
00:28:43some other current things here, but in
00:28:47any case, there will be voices from
00:28:50Brussels that will insist on efficiency,
00:28:53on being efficient, just like last time,
00:28:56it's a matter of internal political coalitions, as everywhere in
00:29:00every country, that... It's a matter of, uh,
00:29:04to put it colloquially, how much each one will be willing
00:29:07to swallow water, to say what has been
00:29:10said, responsibly or
00:29:13irresponsibly, the criticisms that have been directed at
00:29:16each other, in other words, these elections will pass like all
00:29:20others, but we must not
00:29:22lose what is called not seeing the forest
00:29:26for the trees and vice versa, we must
00:29:29know what our priorities are and this is our...
00:29:32priority, we must know how far we have come, so as not to
00:29:36constantly go back to the beginning, so if we have reached this stage, so to
00:29:40speak, uh, of an
00:29:43educational and argumentative objection
00:29:46to our partners and allies, then let
00:29:50us continue with that in an articulate, diplomatically
00:29:53permissible, but always
00:29:56non-dissonant way, but to be, if
00:29:59necessary, somehow...... and
00:30:03more impulsive, without creating any
00:30:06escalation, but simply to say, wait, we
00:30:10can't do that.
00:30:13Ambassador, thank you very much for your time, we spoke
00:30:17about these very important topics, both for Bosnia and Herzegovina and the entire
00:30:20region. Thank you, dear
00:30:24Ena. Dear viewers, that was Ero Lavdović, Ambassador of Bosnia
00:30:28and Herzegovina to Belgium and Luxembourg. Stay
00:30:31tuned. Live, we will be in
00:30:34Belgrade soon.
