Google Cloud Speech-to-Text API (Chirp) + Gemini 2.5 Flash Non-Thinking. Treat it as a searchable index of what was broadcast, not a quotation record.

00:00:00however you look
00:00:03at it, none of
00:00:06them have any contact with
00:00:10reality, which means they are basically
00:00:13a lie, and uh, that lie is
00:00:17stupid, that lie is not just populist, it is
00:00:21actually very dangerous, because it misleads
00:00:24voters, it counts on
00:00:27our very superficial reactions. Uh,
00:00:30so we heard young people in the report just now, unfortunately you didn't
00:00:34have the opportunity, but
00:00:37what almost every young person said is that
00:00:40they will not go to the elections
00:00:43if there is no political offer
00:00:46in this constellation of forces.
00:00:50Apathy and listlessness
00:00:52have gripped not only Bosnia and Herzegovina but
00:00:56humanity. We are living in a
00:01:00completely new paradigm,
00:01:02uh, that paradigm uh, was imposed by
00:01:06conservatism and authoritarianism
00:01:09that is coming, and this shift to the right, yes, which comes from
00:01:13Trump, uh, from his, I can
00:01:16freely say, racist movement,
00:01:19now if I may say on these media due to
00:01:22censorship that is present on
00:01:26the entire planet and is very pronounced.
00:01:30"You have never been with us until now, nor will you be, we hope,
00:01:33in a small way, but uh, we are small as
00:01:36a language, uh, but war criminal
00:01:40and aggressive uh politics
00:01:43that approved genocide in Palestine, which the
00:01:47European, which the European Union watches
00:01:51completely calmly, that new paradigm drove people away from
00:01:54politics, uh, the result is
00:01:58uh fascization." for example,
00:02:00Germany, the shift to the right in
00:02:04France, the shift to the right in
00:02:06Italy, and uh, of course the appearance
00:02:10Spain is still doing well, Spain
00:02:13is the only country that has the left in
00:02:17power and the only country that openly speaks
00:02:20about, in fact, about
00:02:23genocide. You had a rebellion of a part
00:02:26of Slovenian citizens the other day, but look, you know.
00:02:30The rebellion in Sarajevo, what is that dark
00:02:33space? Mm, Sarajevo was under
00:02:37siege
00:02:39betrayed the hope on for uh, 1400 something days, the genocide in
00:02:43Srebrenica happened. I'll give you a paradox now,
00:02:47the memorial center, uh,
00:02:50Srebrenica, does not speak out about
00:02:53the genocide in Gaza, because the leader of the memorial
00:02:57center is a friend with the president of the World... Jewish
00:03:00Congress, so we then keep silent about what
00:03:04is happening to Palestinian children,
00:03:08you know, the lives of those Palestinian children are
00:03:11as important to me as the life of every other
00:03:13child. Uh, furthermore,
00:03:17you have a paradox, what stupidity we live in,
00:03:21uh, if it weren't for Iranian aid to this country, at the beginning
00:03:25of the war, who knows what would have happened. We
00:03:28didn't even... uh following the recommendation of the Islamic Community,
00:03:32we didn't study uh as a society, a hatmad to the
00:03:36president,
00:03:38i.e. Ayatollah Khamenei. What kind of
00:03:41fear is that of Trump's MAGA movement and
00:03:45his punishment? Now those young people, let's
00:03:48go back to them, of course they are
00:03:50listless, they are dealing
00:03:53with political
00:03:56oligarchies, for whom politics is a business.
00:04:01"uh, a source of good earnings, uh,
00:04:03a source for fixing tenders,
00:04:07uh, for some it's banditry,
00:04:10uh, for others it's nationalism and spreading
00:04:14hatred, for others a way
00:04:16to uh get their
00:04:19families jobs, so you get that apathy which is
00:04:23justified, but it's
00:04:26about their lives, about the lives of these
00:04:30young people. Do you predict a low turnout in these elections,
00:04:33perhaps the lowest ever? I think these
00:04:37elections, in terms of turnout, will be a disaster. Now,
00:04:41rationally speaking, uh,
00:04:45why is that
00:04:47assumption possible and most likely
00:04:51correct? Because the trio disappointed, that's
00:04:55my next question, it refers to the past
00:04:58mandate and to us. You mentioned politicians for whom this is a job,
00:05:02what kind of job was done in the past mandate?
00:05:05We are listening now to
00:05:08praise about the reform
00:05:11step forward, in the positive aspects of this
00:05:15mandate, what will you remember it for, for example?
00:05:19It's
00:05:21a bit harder question
00:05:24to
00:05:26to try to sum
00:05:30everything up in a short
00:05:31assessment.
00:05:35The previous government
00:05:37of Novalić produced a revolt among citizens
00:05:40against... SDA and
00:05:44its uh uh its crime,
00:05:47corruption, nepotism and so on, but you know,
00:05:51it's not just SDA in power, this is a constitutional country, so
00:05:55there were also the other two political parties, SNSD
00:05:59and HDZ and a complete blockade of the federation
00:06:02for eight years of Novalić's rule,
00:06:06so plus the corona crisis and so
00:06:09on. The trio which...
00:06:12promised hope,
00:06:15uh, killed hope in the Sarajevo canton
00:06:19for citizens, that is a terrible
00:06:22responsibility of irresponsible politicians,
00:06:26like Nihad Uk, uh, who is completely
00:06:30incompetent, semi-literate,
00:06:32semi-educated, but very arrogant. He was our guest,
00:06:36we tried to ask many questions this morning, also to him about
00:06:39everything that happened in the past mandate. "But
00:06:42here, when we look at other levels
00:06:45of government, disappointment, it seems to me that it is
00:06:48your assessment,
00:06:52as far as citizens are concerned, disappointment, but my
00:06:54assessment is worse than disappointment,
00:06:58uh, in fact, it's about the following, you had a
00:07:02historic chance as a trio to
00:07:05revive the social life of Bosnia and Herzegovina and
00:07:09you missed that historic chance."
00:07:12Or it won't come back, I don't know, for 30
00:07:15years now, now if you
00:07:18haven't understood that, and if you put people like Uk
00:07:22or some others in positions, you have
00:07:26missed uh a century.
00:07:30They are not aware of the responsibility they have. Now they
00:07:33promise us that we will live freely, but
00:07:37what will I remember it for? For the first attempt to introduce
00:07:41some social measures. This country, that is
00:07:44the increase of the minimum wage
00:07:46for workers and then you have
00:07:49proof that the country
00:07:53is networked, all
00:07:56the tycoons
00:07:59rose up with the help of fake economic
00:08:02analysts to attack the minimal rights
00:08:05of workers. Uh, the media were
00:08:09naturally forced to participate in that.
00:08:12And so on, which means that there is no
00:08:15elemental empathy
00:08:18in our country. Uh, then you have
00:08:21an increase in pensions of 17%,
00:08:24you have those benefits for mothers, which is good
00:08:28social assistance, so you have some good
00:08:31moves, but then it all falls before
00:08:35the fact that in highways you have
00:08:37some problems, that Elektroprivreda
00:08:41uh completely... It's collapsing and
00:08:45so on. This is a very complex
00:08:48country uh in which Dodik can with his three delegates
00:08:52literally lock the country
00:08:55into some kind of mental
00:08:58prison. Uh, the previous mandate
00:09:01of the trio was marked by some
00:09:04exceptional results and huge falls, that's the realistic
00:09:07picture. Uh, SDA media are making a
00:09:11disaster out of it. But uh what
00:09:15I can predict now, now we will
00:09:18set up a game
00:09:22uh for everyone and you will see how they will
00:09:25react. Namely, the real
00:09:28crisis arises after
00:09:31the elections. That is my next question. In Bosnia and
00:09:35Herzegovina, experience somehow shows that people always voted
00:09:39against. If that new
00:09:44uh, i.e., old uh
00:09:46political coalition
00:09:49comes in the future, what do
00:09:52you predict? Complete blockade
00:09:55of institutions, paralysis of the system,
00:09:58collapse or something that
00:10:01will go in favor of citizens?
00:10:04The fate
00:10:07of the government after these elections
00:10:10will be decided, as announced,
00:10:13by Dragan Čović with the help of his ally Milorad
00:10:17Dodik, to whom Željko Komšić, let's
00:10:21say it openly, enabled that very
00:10:24alliance. Uh, by his
00:10:28irrational attitude, according to which he
00:10:31claimed that it was important in the presidency, which does not have
00:10:35much authority, but still appoints the council of ministers and
00:10:38somehow, that's the only thing, but he must
00:10:41appoint it as the parliamentary majority orders him
00:10:45to. I'd like to see who won't appoint him as the
00:10:49parliamentary majority orders. So, that is
00:10:53very weak. Ambassadorial positions, weak authority,
00:10:57but ambassadorial positions bring, political,
00:11:00yes, patronage and so on.
00:11:03So, uh, Čović said
00:11:06that those who have a majority in the House
00:11:10of Peoples will go into power. Look,
00:11:13in 2001, we
00:11:16uh, we were writing about how
00:11:20the absurd consociational construct of the state
00:11:24uh gave the most power to the Houses
00:11:27of Peoples, since that body is invisible, and now we have
00:11:31that these bodies are precisely called the graveyard of good
00:11:34laws, where everything stops and disappears, that's right, that's right, that's
00:11:38right, you can halt the state with three, with three, with three
00:11:42representatives in power, as they say, with a
00:11:45synecdoche, with three hands.
00:11:48So now, if uh
00:11:52Čović, he will surely win.
00:11:55Three uh Croatian representatives in the House
00:11:58of Peoples will choose the government, then there is no
00:12:01coalition of SDA, DF,
00:12:04then DF, especially if Čović
00:12:07loses, i.e., if Darjana Filipović loses
00:12:11the presidential elections,
00:12:14uh, then DF flies out, that's why
00:12:17last night Komšić came out with
00:12:20a crazy proposal for a
00:12:23concentration government. They know very
00:12:26well, better than all of us
00:12:30uh into what fire they
00:12:32have pushed us. Then, uh,
00:12:36pressure starts on
00:12:38SDP to enter a coalition with SDA and
00:12:42enable, it's not the first time, it's not the first time, and enable
00:12:46a majority in the House of Representatives.
00:12:50Uh, then comes the problem of SDP,
00:12:53will they or won't they? What do you think, they will,
00:12:56uh, more than half will,
00:13:00because they want to keep their
00:13:02positions. One
00:13:05half that has some
00:13:08ideological principles or something less,
00:13:11and that is the biggest test, the party can split there, it's
00:13:15like a wedge, if Denis
00:13:19Bećirević is asked, he will immediately.
00:13:22That tape recorder in the role of a candidate, and that
00:13:26broken tape recorder in the role of a candidate for a member
00:13:30of the presidency would very gladly,
00:13:33now what is possible, are we then returning to old
00:13:36patterns of governance, but look what is possible, this is
00:13:40possible, uh that Nermin
00:13:43Niksić's government remains in a technical mandate,
00:13:47uh that Mr. Čović
00:13:51blocks the federation the way it
00:13:55was blocked in Novalić's
00:13:58time, that
00:14:01we then live in some
00:14:04kind of hostage political
00:14:07crisis, two from Mostar and
00:14:11Laktasi, that 2:1
00:14:15in the presidency that Komšić talks about for Bosnia and
00:14:18Herzegovina, has been turned into 2:1
00:14:22against Bosnia and Herzegovina on the political field.
00:14:26"Now, you will never
00:14:30hear such things from
00:14:33politicians, either they are stupid, which
00:14:37I doubt, I know some
00:14:39are, or they are liars, which
00:14:43is true, uh, manipulators, which is
00:14:47true, thieves, which is mostly
00:14:51true, fraudsters, mostly..."
00:14:55true and unaware of the political
00:14:59reality we are in, which is
00:15:01true. When I
00:15:03list these, that's what the mental
00:15:07psychological appearance of our political
00:15:11elites is like. You mentioned the circles that will certainly decide, and that's
00:15:15how it has been for decades, who else will
00:15:17be asked?
00:15:19Uh,
00:15:23a little bit of these... what they
00:15:26call in the media political
00:15:30small fry, but the question is if there is
00:15:33a coalition of SDA, SDP,
00:15:37then... "no one will be asked except
00:15:40Serbia, uh, so,
00:15:43uh, it is an open secret, it is very clear that
00:15:47that party is run by Mrs.
00:15:50Izedbegović. And look
00:15:53now, if that government
00:15:55comes, and there is probably
00:15:59a great possibility that it will, at all
00:16:02levels, both federal and cantonal, it will be difficult
00:16:05to form, but possible.
00:16:07"But possible, difficult, very difficult
00:16:11to form. Woe
00:16:13to you - Sebin's opponents,
00:16:17uh, what do you predict for them, who
00:16:20will they be, who will fall out?
00:16:24You said that it is very likely that the
00:16:27coalition we had will break up, it has, it has, it has
00:16:30broken up, it, it is very clear by the behavior of our
00:16:34party which stabbed SDP in the back." And
00:16:38uh I asked the gentleman, he says no, that everything is
00:16:41ok, well he's lying. So, I
00:16:45wrote about it, listing those
00:16:49examples, uh, first he
00:16:52stabbed him in the back, he says he's on excellent terms with
00:16:56the gentleman, no he's lying, uh,
00:16:58so I know for sure, so, with his
00:17:02hypocritical resignation, he stabbed
00:17:05in the... he stabbed
00:17:09Adnan Šteta in the back, shifting moral responsibility for
00:17:12that tragic tram accident in
00:17:16Sarajevo, a decent man
00:17:20cannot do that, then
00:17:23he cannot lie publicly, I talked about that on television,
00:17:27I mean, I wrote articles about it, uh, Duška
00:17:30Jurišić, well she stabbed SDP
00:17:34in the back whenever she could, uh...
00:17:37Sabina Ćudić, well
00:17:40they constantly uh stabbed
00:17:43them in the back, remember uh
00:17:46their uh stupid
00:17:50action to uh protest against
00:17:53the increase of the minimum wage to a thousand marks, then
00:17:57a proposal for it to be 800 marks, then some
00:18:00main board and so on, what are they talking about,
00:18:03what do you predict for that party, such a nip who.
00:18:07a drop of almost 50%.
00:18:11Uh, I'm looking forward to it, I must admit,
00:18:14because they which
00:18:18we, left-oriented and
00:18:21liberal-oriented intellectuals, worked for 20
00:18:25years, they did not uh
00:18:28change the social consciousness
00:18:30of citizens, like Peđa Kojović changes the social
00:18:34consciousness of citizens, by going to Mezar, but
00:18:37Izetbegović, or us who wrote tons and tons
00:18:41of texts, so, they sold our
00:18:45work for very
00:18:48cheap, manipulative mandates and should
00:18:52be punished and will be punished, uh,
00:18:56I will personally make sure that they are punished, uh,
00:18:59you can blame me now, maybe, but
00:19:02I can't wait for that, I really can't wait, because
00:19:06because. that uh is uh
00:19:10a problem uh that we now
00:19:14have to build anew,
00:19:17a new social hope, how will you, well, try
00:19:21not to do what you
00:19:24said before, but to build new
00:19:27social energy?
00:19:30That's the hardest job. Uh,
00:19:33look, after someone demolishes a project for you,
00:19:38uh, and you fall to zero, uh,
00:19:42you need to invest double
00:19:45the energy to regain people's trust in
00:19:48that project. Uh, as for
00:19:52me personally, uh, I will
00:19:56even in death oppose nationalism,
00:20:00but uh, let these
00:20:03hucksters who use our work to build their
00:20:06political careers not think that it will be that
00:20:10easy. This election campaign
00:20:14shows that they
00:20:17have no plan. Just look at
00:20:20Sarajevo, just Sarajevo,
00:20:23and the fact that
00:20:26you haven't built, for example, a park in
00:20:30Betanija so that children can
00:20:34play in that park when these great, awful
00:20:37heats come, that you haven't planted
00:20:41a hundred or two hundred trees there,
00:20:45speaks volumes uh,
00:20:47about how much of a lack of vision
00:20:51there is, and what kind of fight against climate
00:20:54change is that? That you haven't
00:20:58built a park there
00:21:01behind that monstrosity that is called
00:21:03SCC, but a parking lot,
00:21:07uh, that says that for 20 years in this city
00:21:10no one has thought about what hell
00:21:13is coming and they ignored climate change, you destroyed
00:21:16the wind rose.
00:21:20Uh, you have uh, the fact
00:21:23that they committed ecocide on
00:21:26Bjelašnica, uh, now I'm
00:21:30saying, uh, uh, that these people don't know how to think two
00:21:33hours ahead let alone 20
00:21:37years, these elections show that they
00:21:41don't know that, uh, that it's
00:21:44an absence of any possible strategy.
00:21:47Yes, we must also comment on another event that
00:21:51certainly marked this week, but this
00:21:54year, that is the funeral of the war criminal,
00:21:58Mladić. How would you rate, for example, the move of the Minister
00:22:02of Foreign Affairs
00:22:05uh in this
00:22:07situation?
00:22:12Uh, it is important for me to mention
00:22:15one thing, at the funeral of Ratko
00:22:19Mladić. "Uh, Mr.
00:22:22Porfirije, if that phenomenon can
00:22:26be called a gentleman, uh, played
00:22:30the most dishonorable ideological
00:22:32role and metaphysical god,
00:22:36I wrote that, turned into
00:22:39political, i.e., by the
00:22:42sacralization of Mladić's war criminal
00:22:45hero. Many praised him upon arrival,
00:22:49he was a rocker, then he
00:22:52suddenly showed himself
00:22:54as an agent,
00:22:58a religious agent of war criminals. Well,
00:23:00look now,
00:23:04uh, what Konaković
00:23:08is doing, that's fine, but he
00:23:12does it uh in a way
00:23:15that he presents it as some
00:23:19kind of patriotism.
00:23:22Uh, that's your moral obligation,
00:23:25so, you can't
00:23:26even cooperate with such
00:23:30people, and what I would do in his place
00:23:34would be to break diplomatic relations, let's be
00:23:37clear. So, a radical
00:23:41move is being made there. What failed,
00:23:44semi-literate, semi-educated
00:23:47bureaucratic elites in Europe
00:23:50are doing is turning a blind eye
00:23:53while AFD-like fascism creeps up on
00:23:57them from behind. So,
00:24:00uh for that Konaković
00:24:04move, I would say the rating
00:24:07from one to five is a one plus,
00:24:10but for uh the way that
00:24:14uh we perceive
00:24:18as a society uh... that
00:24:21scandalous act of the funeral
00:24:24of the genocidal
00:24:25Mladić, uh, it bothers
00:24:29me quite a bit. Namely, why, uh,
00:24:33because uh, there you need
00:24:36to be intellectually and ethically superior
00:24:39and show that kind of
00:24:43victory, uh, namely, the greatest
00:24:47possible defeat ideologically,
00:24:50ethnically, culturally,
00:24:52humanly happened uh with Porfirije
00:24:56and the sacralization
00:24:59of Mladić from a state leader into
00:25:02a hero. There is no greater defeat. The
00:25:05civilized world watches this, we saw it in the reactions which
00:25:09are not exactly what we expected, especially from the European
00:25:12Union. Somehow eyes are turned to the international community
00:25:16when we find ourselves in trouble, always.
00:25:20What do you expect from them in
00:25:24the current state of forces that we have about the shift to the right that we
00:25:27explained everything that is happening in
00:25:30the world from Ursula von der Leyen, Marta
00:25:34Kos and similar phenomena,
00:25:37nothing. Uh, namely, what is it about
00:25:40here? Uh, Europe, abandoned
00:25:43by the Trump administration,
00:25:47cannot find its way, and... and
00:25:50it doesn't know what to do with the internal crisis and what
00:25:54to do with the global crisis.
00:25:57It's a semi-educated bureaucracy
00:26:01uh which uh... which is more concerned with the length,
00:26:04metaphorically speaking, of a cucumber in
00:26:06Spain,
00:26:09than anything else. They brought us to the point where
00:26:12we think about those standards,
00:26:15not about ideologically important
00:26:18things, as Marine once said,
00:26:21how to think, how to think Europe.
00:26:25Now that Europe
00:26:28has treated Bosnia and Herzegovina for 30 years
00:26:31as... a centralized unitary state,
00:26:35setting impossible tasks for it, that means it didn't
00:26:39understand it, and how will it understand it when
00:26:43it thinks only bureaucratically?
00:26:46Uh Europe uh on
00:26:49the other hand is uh completely
00:26:53permeated with Russophobia and
00:26:55Sinophobia. Uh, the Chinese
00:26:59uh uh are
00:27:03destroying them in every possible way in the economic
00:27:06field, uh, and from that
00:27:09Europe, I expect nothing
00:27:12significant. From the United States
00:27:14uh, I expect nothing significant. That's
00:27:18a conservative mercantile
00:27:21policy. Now there's a great book,
00:27:25an excellent book, I recommend it to our
00:27:28readers, it's called "The Great Transformation".
00:27:33"Uh, Branko Milanović wrote it, and
00:27:36he shows an American, so that
00:27:40it wouldn't be a Serbian economist
00:27:43of world renown, uh, so
00:27:47it shows how the future
00:27:50of the world will be marked by the clash of two
00:27:53hegemons, China and the USA, and
00:27:57uh, he says, that, uh, this
00:28:01is the end of..." neoliberalism as an economic
00:28:04doctrine, we published on the portal
00:28:08Prometej uh
00:28:11one and we are publishing it in series uh one
00:28:15brilliant text about
00:28:17Turkish economic
00:28:19Nobel laureate, if that's how it's
00:28:23read, uh, who uh
00:28:26uh put forward the thesis that
00:28:30neoliberalism itself... produces
00:28:34authoritarianism, conservatism, nationalism,
00:28:37racism
00:28:40and - now the serious question is
00:28:44what is the future
00:28:46uh of what we call
00:28:49liberal democracy, we'll leave that, of course,
00:28:53for your future appearances, because unfortunately I don't have time, we are at the
00:28:56end of the show, I wouldn't want to end on this
00:29:00pessimistic note, can you kr'. Just in one sentence, some
00:29:03more optimistic scenarios for the citizens of Bosnia and
00:29:07Herzegovina or
00:29:09advice
00:29:11uh I can
00:29:13of course uh this is
00:29:17your country your money
00:29:20that is your money of course
00:29:24these are your laws and your
00:29:26rights and don't
00:29:30let uh them... take them away like
00:29:34this, rebel against
00:29:37everything, rebel, even
00:29:40when you are not right,
00:29:43rebellion is the only characteristic
00:29:47of humanity, uh, I
00:29:50work at the faculty,
00:29:54the Faculty of Philosophy in Sarajevo, which did not rebel
00:29:57when uh certain deans evaded
00:30:01taxes. Now that uh
00:30:04they are watching uh how they have to return that tax,
00:30:08they are paying the price of the absence of rebellion, uh,
00:30:11rebel in the name of the future, so that is the only
00:30:15hope, take your destiny into
00:30:18your own hands. Thank you very much and the right message to end this
00:30:22morning program, thank you for your time, with us in
00:30:25the past minutes was Professor Enver Kazaz, and this is also
00:30:29the last content in the morning program, stay with the program.
00:30:33N1, a pleasant
00:30:34rest
00:30:40of the day,
00:30:55I am Majila Šabanović, you are watching
00:30:57N1.
