00:00:19Good afternoon, you're watching the news, the
00:00:21event of the day.
00:00:25Indictment filed against seven people for the fire in the retirement home in
00:00:29Tusla.
00:00:32Test elections in Bosnia and Herzegovina are proceeding with many problems, numerous
00:00:36polling stations were not opened on time, the delivery of test
00:00:39ballots was delayed.
00:00:44A quarter of a century after the attack on the Twin Towers, America marks it with a new
00:00:47war, due to which a gallon of diesel costs 6
00:00:50dollars.
00:00:55The Cantonal Prosecutor's Office of the Tuzla Canton
00:00:58they're demoralized, I think they're very proud of has filed an indictment against seven people in the case related to the fire in the retirement home in Tuzla.
00:01:02The indictment was filed against former director Mirsad
00:01:05Bakalović, Zinaida Razić Halilović, head of a service
00:01:09in the home, and against Mustafa Azabagić, who performed the duties
00:01:12of fire protection officer and work safety officer in the home.
00:01:16Also, an indictment was filed against three responsible persons from the company Impros
00:01:20Tuzla in the capacity of an expert team during the preparation of the fire hazard assessment
00:01:24for the retirement home of Tuzla from
00:01:272021. The indictment was also filed against
00:01:30Ibrahim Sarajelić, fire protection inspector at the cantonal administration
00:01:34of civil protection of the Tuzla
00:01:37in the period from April November 4,
00:01:412025, they committed the criminal offense of serious
00:01:45criminal offenses against general safety of people and
00:01:47property.
00:01:51Test elections with new technologies are being held today in Bosnia and
00:01:54Herzegovina. Problems appeared immediately at the beginning. Namely, for
00:01:58some polling stations, test ballots were not delivered
00:02:01on time. Now a serious question arises about the organization
00:02:05of the entire process, especially considering that the trial voting was presented
00:02:09as an important test of readiness for the application of new
00:02:12technologies.
00:02:16during the day some technical problems occurred where
00:02:19from our base, meaning the central election
00:02:22commission, its distribution centers, as far as I have
00:02:26information, currently in the entire Sarajevo Canton these
00:02:30test ballots have not arrived yet, so we were not able to
00:02:34materially and physically perform today's
00:02:37training, this work with
00:02:42go by myself, wherever it citizens, but we took the opportunity since we organized
00:02:44the polling station diligently with citizens
00:02:48we conducted this one oral training on how
00:02:51it should look like on election day,
00:02:53so
00:02:57I am not disappointed, I am calling...
00:03:00my name is Grazvara and I will be
00:03:04Grad Sarajevo, so we came to this training to see, I understand everything
00:03:07about the ballots, it's clear to me, I only came for these scanners
00:03:11and this, that's what interested me the most to see how it will function since it's the first
00:03:15time, but we are waiting, I guess we will see how
00:03:18it goes, I mean, the ballots, regarding the ballots, that's clear to me how it works.
00:03:22Were you surprised that it was delayed this morning, cancelled? Well, we weren't, what will
00:03:25it be? It's the first time, not everyone
00:03:29immediately gets the hang of it,
00:03:33it takes time for everything to start working, no, no
00:03:35they didn't show on this training, on this training, they just explained how to
00:03:39vote, they just showed how to vote, that the ballots will
00:03:43be A4, on the left side will be parties and on the right
00:03:47candidates, so you must vote for a party,
00:03:50if you want to vote for a candidate, you have to find them on
00:03:53those ballots and then up to three candidates, I think only more than
00:03:56three parties get votes. Is that
00:04:00perhaps complicated for you or what do you think will happen? Well, it's not for me, son, because I've been
00:04:04to elections many times so it's not complicated for me and you see, I just need
00:04:07these instruments to see how they will turn on so it doesn't get delayed because
00:04:11of that, and as for the ballots, there shouldn't be problems and inserting
00:04:15turning it down so it goes straight and then
00:04:19it will be counted, it will have to be counted manually since it's the first time, but
00:04:22this was theory before theory, not today's theory, we had
00:04:26another lecture here, yes, did you have practical to show you? No, only
00:04:31oral, we didn't have anything practical, well, they told us they would call us next week for
00:04:35practical.
00:04:39In a high school in the Zagreb neighborhood of Voltino this morning around 8
00:04:43o'clock, an attack occurred in which a student injured another student
00:04:46and a cleaner with a sharp object. Terrified
00:04:49students immediately after eight o'clock frantically reported to their parents that
00:04:53a masked young man armed with a knife was moving through the building.
00:04:56The attacker is under police supervision while the injured
00:05:00received medical
00:05:00help.
00:05:04During this morning our hospital received a severely
00:05:08injured child with stab
00:05:11wounds in the area of the thorax and abdomen.
00:05:14The injuries can be characterized as life-threatening.
00:05:17Our staff immediately upon
00:05:20the arrival of the patient took all measures for his
00:05:23care, diagnostics were performed. Due to
00:05:26the severity of the injuries the child also underwent
00:05:30surgery. What I can say is that
00:05:34the surgery went well, that the child
00:05:37is stable and that our multidisciplinary team continues
00:05:41to monitor his condition and apply all necessary treatment
00:05:44measures. I am sure that our
00:05:47experts will do everything possible so that the
00:05:50child, our patient, does not suffer permanent medical
00:05:54consequences from this event. I would like
00:05:56to express my sympathy to all
00:05:59injured and their families,
00:06:02especially to the injured child and his parents
00:06:06as well as everyone affected
00:06:09by this tragedy that occurred. I would especially like to thank
00:06:13our staff who reacted quickly, professionally
00:06:16and dedicatedly, as well as
00:06:19all emergency services that participated in the care
00:06:22of the injured.
00:06:26For now, he is stable, the entire further course should go well,
00:06:30but as I said, the injuries are
00:06:31severe.
00:06:34Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić, who was chosen by the Main Board of the Serbian Progressive
00:06:38Party as the list holder United Serbia,
00:06:41answered the question from N1 when he would resign as
00:06:44president.
00:06:48Immediately upon my return from New York, I will resign.
00:06:50Now, don't hold me to it, I think it's
00:06:54the 25th or 26th, but that's
00:06:57it. 25th,
00:06:5926th.
00:07:02That's it, when I will resign. Then I will go to the campaign as an ordinary
00:07:05citizen. The law does not oblige me to do that, it is my
00:07:09wish. I don't want to go into the campaign for prime minister as
00:07:13president of the republic, I want to
00:07:17have, no president has ever done that, every one
00:07:21went to the campaign from the position of president or
00:07:24vice versa from the position of prime minister, I want to
00:07:27be the first, I want to go as an ordinary person and an ordinary citizen
00:07:31and for the last month, that is, of the campaign,
00:07:34for the last month of the campaign I will be an ordinary citizen, I will go in my
00:07:38car, I will also take a truck.

00:07:46it's not a big truck, a small

00:07:58wherever I come to a village, I'll say a word to the people,
00:08:02wherever I come to a city, I'll say a word

00:08:1025 years have passed since the terrorist attacks of September
00:08:1311, 2001, and commemorations are being held across the United States
00:08:17for nearly 3,000 victims.
00:08:20Of the four hijacked planes, two hit the towers of the World Trade
00:08:24Center, one the Pentagon, while the fourth crashed in Pennsylvania after
00:08:28passenger resistance.
00:08:42and one. President Trump will not be here. He denies that's because
00:08:46he wasn't being offered the opportunity to speak. The other
00:08:49four surviving presidents will be at ground zero,
00:08:52marking the 25th anniversary of the
00:08:55moment that I suppose redefined the world as we
00:08:58know it. Two planes flown into the World Trade Center here in New
00:09:02York, another into the Pentagon in Arlington, Virginia, fourth
00:09:06brought down by the passengers before it reached the capital building
00:09:10in Washington DC, all played.
00:09:13in real time on network television, and it led
00:09:16to the invasion of Afghanistan, that turned into
00:09:19America's longest foreign war, 20 years, it
00:09:22ultimately led to the invasion of Iraq in 2003,
00:09:26and it was the moment I suppose when Americans stopped
00:09:30seeing terrorism as something abroad and began to see it
00:09:33as something at home, in this melting pot of nation, neighbor
00:09:37became suspicious of neighbor, there was a 1600%
00:09:41rise in anti-muslim. some hate crime arise that
00:09:44paved the way to policies of build the wall, mass
00:09:48deportation, armed ice agents on the streets of the
00:09:51United States, policies that put Donald
00:09:54Trump into the white house, so 9/11 is not just
00:09:58something that happened 25 years ago, it is the
00:10:01event that created America and
00:10:04the world as we know it
00:10:06today.

00:10:12exceeded six dollars per gallon, while Brent crude jumped to

00:10:20of the Strait of Hormuz. Commenting on the crisis, US
00:10:23President Donald Trump stated that he did not regret military action and would

00:12:08play due to organizational reasons, the play

00:12:14scheduling limitations

00:12:32For the end of the news, the weather forecast.
00:12:35Good day, dear viewers, the weather situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina
00:12:39has significantly changed in the past two days with locally heavy rain and a drop
00:12:43in temperature, thanks to this cyclone moving from the Mediterranean
00:12:46further east. In the east and south, there has been no significant
00:12:50cooling or heavy rain yet, but during the afternoon and
00:12:54evening, more frequent rain and
00:12:57showers are expected there, which in the south may be more intense and accompanied
00:13:01by thunder. However, towards the end of the day, and especially tonight
00:13:05and tomorrow, the weather conditions will gradually calm down with partial
00:13:09clearing, so that Saturday will bring us more favorable weather
00:13:12conditions. Before that, today until the end of the day it will be gradually
00:13:16cooler, with the wind turning to northern directions. As the front
00:13:19passes over us, these temperatures will further
00:13:23drop in the evening. The weather for the weekend is more favorable, the cyclone is moving east, which will
00:13:27guarantee us mostly dry days on Saturday
00:13:30and Sunday, we can count on being outdoors and making plans,
00:13:34nights will be quite cool, especially in Bosnia where temperatures may drop
00:13:37below 10 degrees Celsius before morning, but the days are pleasantly
00:13:41warm, generally with numbers between 22 and 27, in the
00:13:45south perhaps up to 28-29 degrees Celsius,
00:13:48so there are no more of those scorching heats that we had until
00:13:51recently.
00:13:55That's all, stay with
00:13:56N1,
00:14:05watch "Dan uživo" with Ena Branković, today from 4:15 PM.
00:14:34The right of a birthing mother to have a companion of her own
00:14:38choice during the most vulnerable moment is not a topic for debate in the civilized
00:14:41world, but a standard. In the Federation of Bosnia and
00:14:45Herzegovina, this right has fallen victim to political calculations,
00:14:49months-long blockades of the House of Peoples, and due to conscious
00:14:52violations of constitutional deadlines and refusal. to even vote on the draft
00:14:56law, the Baby Steps association filed a criminal complaint with the special department of the Federal
00:14:59Prosecutor's Office against
00:15:03Chairman Tomislav Martinović and the leadership
00:15:06of the House. Why are the authorities afraid of opening a public discussion
00:15:10about the conditions in birthing rooms? In the new day, our
00:15:14guest Mila Tatarević, president of the Baby Steps association, good morning and
00:15:18welcome. Good morning, thank you very much for the invitation. Just at the beginning, I want to emphasize
00:15:21that we also invited Mr. Tomislav Martinović to join
00:15:25us in this conversation, he unfortunately did not respond to our invitation, he did not
00:15:29even reply to our message, but he had some reaction yesterday,
00:15:32what was it? Yes, his reaction came out where he practically presented some
00:15:36excuses that are absolutely unfounded, incorrect, for example, he stated that the House
00:15:39had already twice declared on that issue, no, this
00:15:43issue was never on the agenda, it was only declared, put on the agenda, which
00:15:47should not have happened, because what is the basis of the criminal complaint is the Constitution which
00:15:51clearly defines that there is a deadline by which an issue that has been adopted by
00:15:54the other House must be considered, so that deadline
00:15:58expired at the beginning of April, with the April session it had to be
00:16:01put on the agenda, not discussed, not voted
00:16:05on for placing on the agenda, but it had to be
00:16:07included, so the Constitution is clear and there is no room for any
00:16:11interpretation and it is really frightening and
00:16:14concerning that the chairman of the House of Peoples, who passes laws, in this way
00:16:18shows either his ignorance or
00:16:21or in some way in the context of that interpretation of the law, or the constitution in
00:16:24this case, tries to justify his actions. Uh, you
00:16:28filed a criminal complaint to the post office because of that,
00:16:31what was the key moment when you realized that nothing would happen in
00:16:35this mandate, that... your letters,
00:16:38appeals uh have no
00:16:41effect on the leadership of the House? Well, this has been going on for a year now,
00:16:44practically, the law was submitted in September last year, the House of Peoples
00:16:48has been delaying this procedure since January, so even when it comes
00:16:52to the draft, it's taking so long. We really tried to reach the House of Peoples, the
00:16:56Collegium, the commissions, so we tried writing,
00:16:59we even contacted the Constitutional Court about violations of the Constitution, but we don't have that active
00:17:03legal standing, which is also an irony at our level, that the Constitutional Court
00:17:06doesn't protect ex officio, but we wait for someone
00:17:10who violates the law to report the violation, so
00:17:12it's absolutely ironic in our system,
00:17:16we realized that it wouldn't work, we tried at the extraordinary session in July, but
00:17:20there too, the possibility of putting it on the agenda was very clearly and simply rejected. There we warned
00:17:23about violations of the Constitution, but nothing happened, we still have
00:17:27the same situation, we still have a complete disregard, a full blockade in every sense of the word, we are not
00:17:31talking about the right to accompaniment here, we are not talking about voting, everyone has a democratic
00:17:35right, we are talking about a public discussion that... I'm not even talking about
00:17:38a public discussion, because this is a violation of the Constitution that the issue should be considered and decided,
00:17:42it wouldn't be, it would be a different story if they had rejected, said there was no public, they rejected
00:17:46the draft, that is their democratic right, but this is
00:17:49blocking that, so blocking the issue through
00:17:52violating the Constitution, which is the highest act of the federation, so
00:17:55it's a shame that this is happening from the House of Peoples. Then we have those excuses
00:17:59that don't hold water, which it seems to me only serve to mislead
00:18:02the public with some story about some procedures and how the
00:18:05proposer feels it won't pass. We're not even talking about what kind of
00:18:08feeling it is, where is that written? The Constitution clearly stated, not based on a feeling that something won't
00:18:12pass, not on voting, not on some
00:18:15kind of opinion or interpretation, but it will be clearly put on
00:18:19the agenda, so the April session was the last
00:18:22resort, we are now in September, meanwhile there were a few more
00:18:26extraordinary, there was another regular session, this issue was never
00:18:29allowed to be discussed and I just wonder why, what is such a big problem of all
00:18:33this, why are they so afraid of this discussion, whether it is
00:18:36non-transparent. and the practice in which
00:18:39patients have been for decades without the protection of a witness at
00:18:43childbirth are the main
00:18:45reason? Well, we cannot claim who is responsible, who is behind this resistance,
00:18:49but what is certainly clear and visible to all of us is that after a year of trying for
00:18:53something so simple, where everyone says they support this issue,
00:18:57it is obvious that there is resistance, and I think the answer to the question of who is behind the resistance
00:19:01is best answered by those questions in the sense of who is bothered by accompaniment,
00:19:05who can be bothered, who is bothered that a birthing mother has a person with her,
00:19:08who is bothered that we have a witness in the maternity ward, who creates this
00:19:12resistance that we can now call systemic resistance, because this truly goes beyond all measure.
00:19:16We are now talking about a draft law that only implies public discussion, and
00:19:19we have so much resistance to public discussion on this topic, which is already a standard in
00:19:23the world, and believe me, I've had enough of the sentences from our doctors, and rarely does anyone
00:19:27speak out on this issue, only when they are really forced
00:19:31to. I support accompaniment, but what? But if
00:19:34you support accompaniment, do something about it. So there's no "I support it,"
00:19:38but we're only talking about excuses all the time. Then those politicians took all that talk,
00:19:42everyone has some kind of verbal support, but on the other hand,
00:19:45they are practically fighting against it.
00:19:49Uh, your ultimate goal is
00:19:52the complete abolition of obstetric violence
00:19:55and corruption, which we all hear about, we all have at least one case
00:19:59in the family where it happened, we can't lie that
00:20:02it has been eradicated in our
00:20:05healthcare institutions, what?". Practice from the region and
00:20:09Europe shows how much the presence
00:20:12changes precisely those negative
00:20:15aspects of childbirth for women? It absolutely changes
00:20:19it drastically, so the change is most visible, most obvious, and
00:20:22greatest when we talk about companionship at birth. For this reason, we focused
00:20:25on this topic precisely because we have a great aspect of prevention
00:20:29of obstetric violence and corruption in maternity wards. When you have a person next to
00:20:32the birthing woman, she is not alone, she cannot be treated even by someone who openly and clearly commits
00:20:36obstetric violence and verbal violence towards the birthing woman, they cannot behave
00:20:40in the exact same way, they have to be much more considerate, because the birthing woman is no longer put in
00:20:43a position, you know how a birthing woman thinks about her child then, she doesn't think about herself, and
00:20:47you simply don't have an automatic defense mechanism against
00:20:50"in that context of some attack, whether verbal or emotional conditioning, but the person
00:20:54who is with her protects the birthing woman, and supports the birthing woman. Very
00:20:58disturbing testimonies you recorded throughout all these years
00:21:01of your struggle for presence at birth, yes, there is a lot
00:21:05of trauma, there are many things that are absolutely inadequate and you know
00:21:09what else, not all traumas, but even those experiences that someone considers
00:21:12of omissions in the context of patient rights,
00:21:16every birthing woman will find at least one sentence that was not in its
00:21:20place, that is verbal violence, so we absolutely have a situation where
00:21:24our system is so bad that we are pleasantly surprised
00:21:27by a situation where we try to present what was not ideal
00:21:30as ideal because it was not as traumatic as some stories we have, so we must not
00:21:34wait for traumas, we must not wait for consequences, we must do something,
00:21:38prevent. I am aware that there are many doctors who support the issue,
00:21:41but they do not support it publicly, so they do not dare to speak out because we also have many
00:21:45who do not want this to be implemented just like that. The story about excuses
00:21:49about premises, about protecting the profession, we heard in parliament, in parliamentary
00:21:52benches, doctors talking about protecting the profession when talking about
00:21:56patient rights, and we heard how a right
00:22:00cannot be defined until conditions are met, what are we talking about, we're twisting things, so
00:22:03the right is the basis, first the right is legally defined and then we talk about
00:22:07conditions, we absolutely have so many problematic
00:22:10ways of talking about this topic that it's unbelievable, and it's so
00:22:14simple, so trivial, recommended by experts, all experts,
00:22:17there is absolutely not a single argument against it, but we
00:22:21have so much resistance, which is really ironic and alarming
00:22:24and frightening for us as citizens. What will happen when we start talking about
00:22:27obstetric violence, when we start talking about some serious situations
00:22:31and serious changes in the healthcare system, when we cannot even solve
00:22:35something so simple and trivial? And the story about privacy
00:22:38they tell, we can't talk about the privacy of birthing women, privacy is guaranteed
00:22:42by law, how can birthing women not have privacy now, why are three birthing women giving birth in the same
00:22:46room? They use their violation of the law as an excuse for
00:22:50further disrespect of recommendations, it is absolutely unbelievable to what
00:22:53extent we are going, and this form, this criminal complaint is
00:22:57practically the last attempt by the non-governmental sector to do something, because you have
00:23:01a situation where the top of the House of Peoples openly violates the constitution, and he
00:23:04gets away with it. It's also an election year, we are in the pre-election campaign,
00:23:08no one is giving up, it says that we as a people are disappearing from these
00:23:12areas. Pro-natalist policy
00:23:16is something that parties promote before
00:23:19every election, unfortunately we have them every two years and
00:23:23we hear a lot about it, even if it's not within their
00:23:26jurisdiction, what does politics say?
00:23:30Here are the government, the opposition, you have been many times in
00:23:34the House of Peoples, in the House of Representatives of the Federation Parliament, I met
00:23:37you at recordings, you talked to those
00:23:40delegates, those representatives, what do they tell you?
00:23:44You see, most of them will not openly say anything negative, they are all for it, but somehow
00:23:48they are all... "Generally, now I will tell you, it is already becoming
00:23:52very much about birthing women and talking about maternity benefits and similar things, we are really
00:23:55talking about the birth rate, of course, which is inevitable and that is one aspect of this story,
00:23:59because our research shows that birthing women have
00:24:02more children because they are afraid to return to the maternity ward, as they call it, that slaughterhouse
00:24:06and so on, so we also have that consequence, the birth rate directly indicates how much
00:24:10accompaniment at birth is a pro-natalist policy, and we drew attention to that because that is something
00:24:13that politicians talk about, but is there that real
00:24:17political will besides that talk?" which means nothing
00:24:20to us, well, last year when we were negotiating this, it seemed to us that
00:24:24we had it, because everyone promised and said it would be very easy, clear, easily resolved in
00:24:28the context of two, three months, the law would be completed under an expedited
00:24:31procedure, but the moment the law was submitted as such,
00:24:35resistance began, first the ministry never submitted an opinion on that law to this day.
00:24:39So, absolutely, you directly accused some parties from the ruling
00:24:42coalition of obstructing the adoption, so
00:24:45you see, we always followed what was happening in parliament, the votes were the basis
00:24:49of all of that for us. What is happening in the House of Peoples is precisely the avoidance of those votes, because when we
00:24:53published who voted how, some parties were highlighted in that context because they were
00:24:57the ones who obstructed, but essentially, the call-outs came
00:25:00directly from citizens and then even representatives of some parties were angry
00:25:04in the context of how we organized resistance, etc. No, that's
00:25:07democracy, so it's the right of citizens to ask why you, for whom I
00:25:11voted, voted against this issue, why you obstruct what
00:25:15women need, what women are asking for, what is a need of citizens, which parties are those? Well,
00:25:19HDZ and SD are two parties that most obstructed this issue in the context
00:25:22of that aspect in the House of Representatives while we had, now
00:25:26regarding the House of Peoples, we cannot even get a vote in some aspect, because believe me, when there were
00:25:29proposals for voting and when individual declarations were requested, practically
00:25:33the entire House of Peoples turned and said no, that kind of public
00:25:37call-out cannot be prevented, because the reason why
00:25:40we have such a blockade, I am sure, is because no one dares to stand for their own against
00:25:44the accompanying person, so no one dares to vote against, then they won't, especially
00:25:48in an election year, for a woman to call them out tomorrow. Because it's not about calling out women from
00:25:52Sarajevo, it's not about calling out, meaning, therefore,
00:25:55that someone is focused, no, the entire Federation, and even Republika Srpska, has joined
00:25:58this issue, women are asking why, how, where, so, this is also...
00:26:02they are calling out and seeking accountability from those who were elected there, that is what is for
00:26:06me the most important thing about all this story that has come out so difficult,
00:26:09that people need to understand that those who sit in parliament
00:26:12are not God-given, that they are there because someone elected them and that they have
00:26:16a responsibility towards citizens, that is what they forget first,
00:26:20they simply don't feel that they understand that they should be accountable, we submitted petitions with 5,
00:26:2310,000 signatures, so there is no effect from that, so nothing
00:26:27that their citizens tell them means anything, they are only now talking to citizens, they are talking these
00:26:31last month. That's why I am now calling on citizens, ask all your
00:26:35candidates, whether you will follow them, whether you will support them, but not
00:26:38just verbally support, what will you do about this issue, if you are elected tomorrow
00:26:42and sit in parliamentary benches, because this is the moment when you can ask,
00:26:46after October no one will ask you anything anymore, so what after October,
00:26:50given that it is very likely that there will be no more
00:26:54sessions, uh, after this criminal
00:26:57complaint, what are your next steps, are you perhaps considering
00:27:01protests? or some other form of
00:27:04pressure on the authorities, well, the biggest problem
00:27:07is precisely the current situation, given that the House of Peoples will not be formed that quickly, given
00:27:11the process, when will the first session be, realistically we cannot expect it before the end of the beginning
00:27:14of next year practically, we will continue to
00:27:17fight for this issue at all instances, so the criminal complaint is one aspect
00:27:21by which we will continue to seek and demand accountability, we will strive to work,
00:27:25we will not stop in the context of waiting for that session, so
00:27:28we are still working, we will still try, I am now calling on all candidates
00:27:32who are willing to support this issue, who are willing to be full support tomorrow
00:27:36in the full sense of the word to work on this issue, to contact us to express that publicly, we will organize some
00:27:40of our pre-election campaigns, as I like to call them, and street actions
00:27:43similar to try to put this topic where it should be,
00:27:47because this is such a simple, essential, important
00:27:51issue and so simple to solve and
00:27:54is talking about it in some pre-election campaigns because the focus is on some big
00:27:58state policy and we are not solving the basic needs of citizens which are so
00:28:02simple to solve, we will continue to work, we will work with hospitals and
00:28:05with ministries, we will try to solve this issue in multiple
00:28:09aspects, more precisely in multiple ways, we don't have to wait for
00:28:13the law to have this as accompaniment in hospitals, every
00:28:16hospital can now, in current conditions, have
00:28:19accompaniment in maternity wards, if we are talking about current legal, we have the right to privacy, the right to
00:28:23dignity, we have a legal obligation to work according to modern
00:28:26procedures, according to modern recommendations, so from the interpretation of the law and we already have
00:28:30an obligation of hospitals and
00:28:32the idea of the law was to make that a direct, clear obligation, no one
00:28:36can say it's not true, but we also have the ignoring of those
00:28:40obligations by the healthcare system absolutely, yes, absolutely, and
00:28:43generally we have a problem that the law is respected as it is, we wouldn't even have problems with accompaniment,
00:28:47but unfortunately we are aware that even when the law is passed, we will probably still have to fight against
00:28:51some who may not be so in favor, but I hope it is clear to everyone that mothers want this,
00:28:55they are asking, no matter if it's baby steps or not, that mothers will not stop and that is
00:28:59what I think is the key to change, that women are...
00:29:03the key to many changes in our
00:29:06society, thank you very much for your time and effort and
00:29:10work on this very important issue, thank you for your support, very much.
