00:09:53forums, gatherings, on social media, political
00:09:56ads interrupt articles, a model known from previous campaigns,
00:10:00a lot of money for commercials, posters, and advertisements, but how much concrete program
00:10:04has been offered to citizens? This campaign has offered us nothing
00:10:07new, except that we see that some politicians and candidates have
00:10:11much more money than I think they should have, you know, they
00:10:15pop up on Viber, on WhatsApp, on
00:10:19portals, I went to these stands in the center of
00:10:22Banja Luka, there are children sitting there who don't know anything to... answer.
00:10:25Močović notices an established campaign model, the party president in
00:10:29the center, surrounded by candidates for various
00:10:31levels of government. A particularly intensive campaign is being waged on

00:11:19the election campaign you have

00:11:26myself, have not heard a single constructive answer related to
00:11:30the future. We are still talking about
00:11:33war, about separation, about the division
00:11:36of the country. In addition to the way the campaign is conducted, numerous
00:11:40irregularities have also been recorded, from July 27, the Coalition "Pod lupom" recorded
00:11:43794 cases, while Transparency International
00:11:47recorded more than 2,000. Most often, they
00:11:50concerned the abuse of public resources, premature campaigning,
00:11:54prohibited activities during the campaign, child abuse, illegal
00:11:57paid advertising, and pressure on voters. The question, however, is
00:12:01how many such cases are sanctioned? Of
00:12:03176 complaints, most are still awaiting processing. Most
00:12:07of our initiatives are still ongoing, so
00:12:0959.7%,
00:12:11a quarter of them 26.7% were rejected,
00:12:15and 10.1%
00:12:18received a sanction, which means that every 10th complaint
00:12:22so far results in a sanction. Based on the initiatives
00:12:25of the Coalition "Pod lupom", the Central Election Commission has so far imposed
00:12:2921 sanctions in a total amount of
00:12:31163,000 convertible marks. Monetary
00:12:35sanctions are meaningless either way, so at this level of
00:12:38corruption and extraction of public money through tenders and other
00:12:42means, I think that political parties simply account
00:12:46for that. SNSD, SDP, PSS, SDA and
00:12:49United Srpska account for three-quarters of the total reported
00:12:53irregularities, and the campaign is only halfway through. Now you will have
00:12:56the next 15 days, which are the last days of this election campaign, so I think
00:13:00that the candidates will literally go wild,

00:13:57The Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina ordered one-month detention for those arrested in
00:14:00operation "Bure". As stated, the detention was ordered at the proposal of the Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina
00:14:04for Kenen Ramić, Dino Kovačević, and
00:14:07Adis Nezirović, on suspicion of unauthorized trafficking

00:14:41With the discovery of the affair in Gospić, the issue of illegal waste import
00:14:44is one of the main topics in Croatia, and it has resonated in Bosnia and
00:14:48Herzegovina. In some European countries, the waste business
00:14:51has been a very lucrative business for over two decades, a well-established mafia business, revealed a Europol
00:14:55investigation. The connections are suspected to reach our
00:14:59country as well. That the largest part of the waste in Gospić was imported from
00:15:02Italy, was confirmed, among other things, by Europol's investigation. Local
00:15:06smugglers have considered this business for more than two decades not only very
00:15:09lucrative, but less dangerous than drug smuggling, and the profit is almost
00:15:12the same. Everything began about two decades ago with a dramatic increase
00:15:16in cancer patients in the area near Naples, and then an investigation followed, and then
00:15:19the whole tangled mess unraveled. What happened?
00:15:23Criminals applied for tenders throughout the European Union for
00:15:27this, for the processing of hazardous waste, which,
00:15:30when done properly, costs a lot of money. So they cheated a lot
00:15:34on those tenders, and what did they do with
00:15:37the waste? They buried
00:15:40it under meadows where livestock grazed, and
00:15:44then it entered the food chain and led to a dramatic
00:15:47increase in the number of cancer patients. In the Croatian case, it is suspected that
00:15:51tons of waste from Italy arrived in Croatia via Slovenia,
00:15:55in order for the illegal waste business to function, seemingly legal front
00:15:58companies must be involved, while the investigation is ongoing, there are suspicions that
00:16:02under the same guise, in 2014, one hundred
00:16:05tons of waste declared as mixed and non-hazardous was sent
00:16:09from Croatia to Bosnia and Herzegovina in Derventa.
00:16:12However, the environmental inspection of the Republic of Srpska determined that the mentioned company
00:16:16did not have the necessary permit for importing that type of waste and ordered its return, but this
00:16:20case is not isolated because Bosnia and Herzegovina is interesting to actors
00:16:23of criminal activities because they know that the system does not function as it should.
00:16:27So we are under pressure from these various lobbies
00:16:31already for years. I remember
00:16:34we had a case of Italian waste.
00:16:37It was some textile waste, people suspected it was
00:16:40medical waste somewhere around 2020, if I'm not
00:16:44mistaken, it was somewhere in Drvar, Grahovo that it was disposed of, some private
00:16:47company imported it,
00:16:50and unfortunately, as most problems are solved in this country,
00:16:54most problems caused by private individuals, big
00:16:57businessmen, these problems are solved
00:17:00with our money, so no one was punished for that
00:17:04case, but we, from the budget, that is, the Federation of
00:17:07Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Ministry of Environment allocated, I don't know how many
00:17:11millions to dispose of that waste. The problem is actually that Bosnia and
00:17:15Herzegovina does not have a hazardous waste landfill, and we produce it. We had
00:17:18a situation, for example, with Kruks in the Haklorkan
00:17:22Committee, a combine here in Tuzla, where
00:17:26for years that Kruks was buried in the ground,
00:17:29it polluted groundwater, nothing was done, I think for about two
00:17:33decades, and still the first phase is now finished, the second
00:17:36phase is now being done. The problem is that again this hazardous
00:17:40waste is being stored at a temporary landfill until the day of
00:17:44export, and all of that again costs the citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina, while
00:17:48private companies remain unpunished. At the same time, neither the population nor activists
00:17:51are satisfied with the steps taken by the Croatian authorities to remediate waste in
00:17:54Gospić and generally manage illegal waste. We cannot escape the
00:17:58fact that we in Croatia live in a kind of partitocracy, in
00:18:01which parties, especially ruling ones, have dominated and
00:18:05permeated public institutions and state
00:18:08bodies with their influence, even those that are scientifically legitimate, while
00:18:11possible criminal connections are apparently neglected. In Bosnia and
00:18:15Herzegovina, incinerators are increasingly promoted as a solution for waste,
00:18:18which is contrary to European directives,
00:18:21which becomes a problem if Bosnia and Herzegovina aspires to join the Union.
00:18:25In addition, for incinerators to be economical, they need huge
00:18:28quantities of waste. If we allow waste imports, we open

00:23:42have two parts, two questionnaires, two tests, and one
00:23:46test always focuses on one of the literacies.
00:23:50In the case of 2025, natural sciences were in focus, and
00:23:53for example, if one works for an hour, half an hour or half of that,
00:23:56half of the test is reserved for the research that is in focus
00:24:00and an additional half for the other two literacies.
00:24:03Each of these tests has six levels. In order to say
00:24:07that someone is functionally literate, they must complete tasks at the second
00:24:10level, so they must cross this basic threshold.

00:25:46parents believe that testing should not only be a measure
00:25:50of students' knowledge, but more an indicator of the state of the entire

00:27:33Peer violence among children and young people is an increasingly present problem,
00:27:36so much so that in just one school in Tuzla, the police intervened
00:27:40three times this month. Legal and institutional mechanisms
00:27:43exist, but the question is how effective they are. The Youth
00:27:47Resource Center Tuzla launched an initiative in schools called
00:27:51"Violence is not the solution," all in order to prevent daily
00:27:54incidents.
00:27:58Cursing, mocking, gossiping, physical and sexual harassment,
00:28:01physical conflicts, and digital bullying have become almost
00:28:05daily forms of behavior in schools. School violence
00:28:09intentionally and unjustifiably causes harm to others, students are
00:28:12aware. Responding in kind violence is not the
00:28:16solution. This means that for example, when one student
00:28:19fights with another student and this third student or
00:28:23student, for example, reports it to the teacher
00:28:27of the class. As for violence, when someone, for

00:28:33an older person, a pedagogue,

00:29:21a series of additional measures to prevent it in some way,
00:29:25to mitigate it as much as
