00:26:55I can proudly say that more and more of them use
00:26:59modern technologies, and in the end they call and ask for help.

00:27:06farms to drones, sensors and online sales, technology is increasingly
00:27:09finding its place in the countryside. The goal, as stated, is not to

00:27:24Hippotherapy therapeutic riding uses horses as part of the therapeutic
00:27:28process and is applied in working with people who have various
00:27:32developmental or other difficulties. This form
00:27:35of therapy has been used worldwide for years, while in Bosnia and Herzegovina
00:27:39the first center dedicated to hippotherapy and therapeutic
00:27:42riding has just opened.
00:27:46Sofia is 13 years old, she comes to ride due to problems with
00:27:50her posture. Doctors recommended exercises at home,
00:27:53but she found a way to work on solving the problem
00:27:57through enjoyment. I ride more
00:28:01than I do other exercises that doctors
00:28:04give me. I really love horses, I really love working
00:28:08with horses and I feel very calm when I work with
00:28:12horses, I usually come a few times a week
00:28:14and
00:28:17I am more satisfied with my posture than I was before and I feel much
00:28:21happier and more relaxed. Hippotherapy differs from
00:28:24classical riding in that the movement of the horse is used as part of
00:28:27the therapy. For people who have difficulty walking, that very
00:28:31movement can be important for the way the body reacts
00:28:34and maintains its position. The movement has a three-dimensional
00:28:38gait, that is, the most similar gait
00:28:41to a human's. When a rider sits on a horse, a simulation
00:28:44of walking occurs, meaning the movement is transmitted
00:28:48from the pelvis, that is, the horse's pelvis, to the rider's
00:28:51pelvis, then the rest of the body. Such a method
00:28:55of work can also be included in rehabilitation for various
00:28:58problems, from severe neurological damage to postural ones.

00:29:13children with poor posture, postural deformities, scoliosis,

00:29:28sent through the health system on a card, for example, in Hungary,
00:29:33Austria, but before joining the program, the needs and goals of
00:29:38experts of various profiles are involved in the entire
00:29:41process: we have a team, a physiatrist,
00:29:44a physiotherapist, a psychologist,
00:29:48an educational rehabilitator and a speech therapist
00:29:51as well, so it is an extremely multidisciplinary approach.

00:29:58autism, it helps them immensely, especially in those social
00:30:02for... social environments. The choice of therapy depends on the needs and
00:30:06health condition of the user, although progress can be seen quickly
00:30:09in some children, it is emphasized from the start that it is a long-term
00:30:13process and that safety must be taken into account above all.

00:30:24we see that every time what we did in the previous lesson
00:30:27somehow stayed with the children, that they

00:30:37not participate, only because their development
00:30:41is not complete, neuromotor skills are not
00:30:44sufficiently developed, and neither is body posture, so
00:30:46after four years of age,
