00:00:00is the division of electoral spoils to
00:00:03a smaller number of actors than it has been so far, and it
00:00:07will be easier for them to rule than it was for these people in these
00:00:11these four years, but nothing crucial and significant will
00:00:16that, just let me finish change. There will be no more Bosnia and Herzegovina, there will
00:00:18be no fewer blockades than there have been so far.
00:00:21If what I am saying now is denied
00:00:25in the next few years, I will, I will
00:00:28be satisfied. Mrs. Cenić, there were more
00:00:32press conferences that we didn't get to. Here, soon we will mention Semir Efendić. Let's go to
00:00:36his press conference, but we didn't get to comment on Željko
00:00:39Komšić at all. If I understood correctly, he will not be the bearer
00:00:43for the state
00:00:44energy carried SBIH to parliament, no, he will not get a mandate. This is a big defeat
00:00:48for DF. Yes, it's a big defeat, but as I
00:00:52said earlier, why vote for a copy when you can vote for
00:00:55the original? They have been connected to SDF for a long time,
00:00:59and... "Is that right, they called them DF and
00:01:02SDA together and
00:01:04simply that number of votes poured
00:01:08into SDA, so nothing surprises
00:01:11me that he says that citizens did not vote for a civic
00:01:15idea, for which, no, that has nothing to do with a civic idea.
00:01:19First, we need to reconcile with that. We should have
00:01:22reconciled with that a long time ago. Uh, we don't have, there is no
00:01:26left here, not in Bosnia and Herzegovina."
00:01:30"There is no left. The fact that they title
00:01:32their party's name with such a designation,
00:01:36that has nothing to do with the essence, with what
00:01:40it is, with what they represent. Uh,
00:01:43furthermore, uh, one cannot base rhetoric
00:01:46on 'we are citizens, civic, we
00:01:50advocate for', and this, let's say, story about
00:01:54lilies doesn't work. You know, you can do it one year,
00:01:58another year, a third, but..."
00:02:00"You can't constantly serve the same story
00:02:04and expect different
00:02:07results. I think that is DF's
00:02:10problem, the problem of the Democratic Front.
00:02:13Who else do you know besides Željko Komšić,
00:02:17perhaps Dženan Džonlagić,
00:02:20right? Uh, who else do you know from DF? Where are
00:02:24they? Miro Lazović is there, but Miro Lazović
00:02:28was in SDP and I don't know, SDU or
00:02:31what do I know what the parties were called, and now he's
00:02:36intense race, which was the in DF, but I'm talking about what is some kind of electoral
00:02:40headquarters or something broader, some
00:02:43DF body. There is none of that. Mr. Prohić, I owe you
00:02:46a comment on this. Let's go to the press conference under the spotlight, and then we'll
00:02:49return
00:02:52to the discussion. There were polling stations that started late and that in certain
00:02:56situations, due to the implementation of new technologies and the unpreparedness of...
00:03:00in situations, members of the polling committees caused these delays. We particularly
00:03:04monitored the treatment of voters who were present at the polling station or in front
00:03:07of it at the time of closing. According to the findings
00:03:11of our observers, at 30.2% of polling stations,
00:03:14voters were allowed to vote, while at
00:03:17something to, they have something to boast about at 3.6% of polling stations, this was not possible. At
00:03:2066.2% of polling stations, there were no voters present at 7
00:03:23o'clock at the polling station or in front of it.
00:03:27Regarding the composition of polling committees, we monitored that all members of the polling committees
00:03:31were present at the time of closing the polling station, at a negligible 1%, not all
00:03:35members were present. At polling stations where new
00:03:39technologies are applied, the operator was not present at the closing of the polling station at
00:03:422.7% of polling stations. After
00:03:45the last voter voted, we monitored whether the president of the polling committee, using
00:03:49the pin, set the scanner status to
00:03:52"closed polling station." This was done at
00:03:5499.4% of polling stations, while at 0.5%
00:03:58of polling stations, this procedure was not performed. At
00:04:010.1% of polling stations, the scanner was not
00:04:03used. We also monitored whether the scanner, after voting was completed,
00:04:07printed the consolidated report on the voting results at the polling station for all
00:04:11levels of government, i.e., the so-called FER. According to the reports
00:04:14of our observers, the scanner printed the FER at 99.2%
00:04:18of polling stations, while this was not done at
00:04:200.7%.
00:04:23Also, we checked whether our observers received a copy of the consolidated
00:04:26report. It was handed over at 94.3% of polling
00:04:30stations, while at 5.1% it was not, even though it
00:04:33was a clear instruction from the Central Election Commission that our observers must
00:04:37receive that report. Regarding the device for electronic
00:04:41identification and authentication of voters, we monitored whether the president of the polling
00:04:44committee, after the completion of voting, used the PIN to put the device into
00:04:48"election closing" status. This was done at 99.2% of polling
00:04:52stations, while at 0.8% it was not. And
00:04:55finally, we monitored the electronic transmission of results from the scanner before the start of the manual
00:04:59count. The electronic transmission of results was performed at
00:05:0298.4% of polling stations, while at 1.2%
00:05:06it was not. We specifically recorded any
00:05:09problems during the electronic transmission of results. Problems
00:05:12during transmission were recorded at 10.9% of polling
00:05:15stations, while at 88.7%
00:05:18of polling stations such problems were not recorded. Uh,
00:05:22during the day, we certainly monitored whether some of the more serious forms of electoral
00:05:26irregularities were occurring, or, let's say,
00:05:28certain possible problems at the polling stations themselves. We
00:05:32recorded about a hundred, over a hundred, in fact, more serious forms of electoral
00:05:35irregularities, of which the largest number referred, of course, from the very
00:05:39beginning of the polling station opening, to the prohibition of observation or obstruction of the
00:05:42observation process, problems with election materials, whether with
00:05:46a certain surplus or shortage of election materials, violation
00:05:50of election silence, irregularities in the voting process, violation of voting
00:05:54secrecy, failure to display the list of polling committee members with
00:05:57political affiliation to the subject, and various other
00:06:00types of electoral irregularities. I would
00:06:03just generally refer to the implementation of new
00:06:07election technologies. So, based on our observation, we can say that
00:06:10the implementation of new technologies was successful. This was not just a question
00:06:14of new devices, new procedures. This was a question of citizens' trust in
00:06:18elections, citizens' trust in elections. What
00:06:21we saw today is that there were certain technical challenges
00:06:25in the sense that at over 10% of polling
00:06:28stations, there were technical problems or device stoppages
00:06:31for biometrics, at over 17% of polling stations, we
00:06:35had stoppages, for example, of the scanners
00:06:39themselves, but therefore, such... challenges and
00:06:43situations need to be thoroughly analyzed and improved later,
00:06:46but the key thing is that the implementation of new technologies was not abandoned during the day,
00:06:50and the election process continued. For us, this is
00:06:54first and foremost a victory for the citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina because they have the right to elections in
00:06:57which their vote will be fully protected. That is why this
00:07:01day should indeed be viewed as
00:07:04Herzegovina, in which we will have an election day without theft and fraud. I now
00:07:08hand the floor to Dario Jovanović, who will tell you more
00:07:11about the verification of voter turnout
00:07:14and results for the Presidency of Bosnia and
00:07:17Herzegovina.
00:07:19Good evening everyone, thank you for being with us all day.
00:07:22First of all, I congratulate the citizens
00:07:25of Bosnia and Herzegovina
00:07:27on the historic elections with new
00:07:30technologies that worked successfully
00:07:34at 99.5%
00:07:37of polling stations, with certain difficulties at
00:07:41between 9 and 16, depending on the
00:07:44device.
00:07:47We had the freest and fairest
00:07:50elections so far, whose results, as
00:07:53we can see, no one questions.
00:07:56I would
00:07:58like to thank the non-partisan ,
00:08:02citizen observers of the "Pod Lupom" coalition. So far,
00:08:06in the past 12 years, more than
00:08:0817,000 of them have worked on protecting
00:08:12and improving elections in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
00:08:16Today is a great victory, after
00:08:1912 years of advocacy, since
00:08:222016, for new technologies. At the beginning, everyone
00:08:25laughed at us, thinking it wasn't
00:08:28possible, up until just two years ago when it still seemed
00:08:32impossible,
00:08:35up until a few days ago when some political entities were still
00:08:38attacking them, today no one questions them.
00:08:42Regarding the verification
00:08:46of voter turnout results, I will briefly refer to the data
00:08:49of the "Pod Lupom" coalition and cross-reference them with the data
00:08:52of the Central Election Commission. We received results from
00:08:56837 polling stations. We also
00:09:00had 114 observers in mobile teams across
00:09:03the country. When we talk about
00:09:07turnout, the recorded turnout in the general elections
00:09:10in 2026 at... 19 hours was
00:09:1342.6%.
00:09:17With a margin of statistical error of plus minus
00:09:190.35%.
00:09:21The incomplete turnout reported by the Central Election Commission at
00:09:257 PM was 41.45%.
00:09:28It is expected that you heard
00:09:31the turnout is less than 42%, which is truly
00:09:35a bad figure. We are going to the press conference of Semir Efendić, the multiple
00:09:38times chairman of the party for
00:10:13Mr. Efendić, so let's summarize the
00:10:16night, from the Presidency to lower
00:10:20levels of government, how would you evaluate all that? First of all, I would truly
00:10:24like to thank all the citizens of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina who had the right
00:10:27to vote and gave it to me, according to current results, close to
00:10:31150,000 votes. This is truly a great result and shows
00:10:34great support for what we are doing in the party for Bosnia and Herzegovina, both me as
00:10:38president and our candidates at other levels. According
00:10:41to the votes counted so far or the results published by the
00:10:44Central Election Commission for the state parliament, that is around
00:10:4866,000 votes, as well as for the parliament of the federation, which is a significant
00:10:51result. Also, in most cantons, the party for... Bosnia and
00:10:55Herzegovina will be parliamentary in Sarajevo Canton, which is again a respectable result with
00:10:59more than 30,000 votes. According to current estimates, eight
00:11:02mandates. According to these estimates, the state parliament should have
00:11:06approximately three mandates. Overall, truly a
00:11:09respectable support for the party for Bosnia and Herzegovina, and if we look at
00:11:12the trends compared to other parties and compared to this reduced
00:11:16number of voters who came out to vote, these trends for the party for
00:11:20Bosnia and Herzegovina are truly good. As for this main match, the result
00:11:24is what it is. We still have some votes to count, but
00:11:27that's roughly how it will probably end. I want
00:11:31the citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina to be better off after these elections, for
00:11:34a government to be formed that will work more, that will work
00:11:37more concretely, that will incorporate some of what we,
00:11:40as a party, said needs to be done into its program and work on it in the coming
00:11:44years. That would be the most important thing.
00:11:48Here, if you have any more questions, who is it possible to see in
00:11:51the coming days to form some kind of
00:11:54coalition? We know that in recent days, the SDP, it seems to
00:11:58me, has come out publicly and said that it would not form any kind of coalition
00:12:01with some parties, but do you have any
00:12:04problems with that? Well, we'll see what
00:12:06the parties that were
00:12:09live are. The party for Bosnia and Herzegovina and
00:12:12its, well, we heard Semir Efendić from the party for
00:12:16Bosnia and Herzegovina. Mr. Prohić, I was just about to say,
00:12:19we commented on DF, i.e. Željko Komšić,
00:12:23then we'll move on to... what we just heard, what the
00:12:27president of DF said is much more than that personal dimension,
00:12:31he said some things, which are
00:12:33very important and which are significant for the overall uh social
00:12:37being in BiH. He said in
00:12:40his first sentence that the
00:12:43citizens have decided that there has again
00:12:47been a dispersion based on the ethnic
00:12:49principle.
00:12:52Uh, I don't agree with his assertion, "because it's
00:12:56only seemingly or apparently
00:12:58so. I think a more significant
00:13:01reason than some love for one's
00:13:04own ethnic being is
00:13:08the attitude of citizens towards the authorities who were
00:13:11there for these four years. It was
00:13:14a vote against, against them, against that
00:13:17trio, which was not
00:13:21as bad as it is thought to be, but it was..."
00:13:25much worse than it should have been and than it could have, could have
00:13:28been. Therefore, I contradict
00:13:31the claim that it is about an ideological
00:13:34return to the 90s, but
00:13:37rather the opposite. Uh, this was not a question
00:13:41of ideology, but this was
00:13:44a question of
00:13:47the citizens' attitude towards concrete results
00:13:49and expectations from certain political actors.
00:13:53So, uh... "Citizens punished
00:13:57the trio because it did not do what it promised
00:14:00and what it could have done in
00:14:03such a situation. Then we have it only seemingly appears
00:14:07that this is a return to the absolutization of the ethnic
00:14:11principle. Finally, let me say something else.
00:14:13Bosnia and Herzegovina cannot be pulled out of this political
00:14:17and social mud by a government
00:14:19that is..." uh, based
00:14:23on an ethnic matrix.
00:14:26BiH can be moved forward only
00:14:30by civic-oriented parties, i.e.,
00:14:33an authentic left, but not
00:14:36civic, non-civic parties like
00:14:40DF. Professor Zdravko Greboj
00:14:42once said of the president of a
00:14:46civic party that he was the greatest political pest in
00:14:50BiH. If he were alive, he might have said today.
00:14:54Well, since he's not here, I'll say that the president of DF
00:14:57is the greatest political damage in
00:15:00BiH in the last ten years, because he
00:15:03caused great harm to the civic
00:15:07option, uh, by declaratively
00:15:11playing for the civic and patriotic
00:15:14option towards BiH, he actually
00:15:18supported ethnic parties, specifically
00:15:20SDA the whole time. Let me remind the entire
00:15:25population of BiH that DF
00:15:28has three times overthrown civic
00:15:31options at the cantonal level, twice in
00:15:34Sarajevo Canton and once in
00:15:37Tuzla Canton. Therefore, his
00:15:41behavior was very harmful to
00:15:44the civic option. Let me just remind you that similar
00:15:47damage was done before him by SDA to the civic option. Let's talk about
00:15:53my thought. SDA once issued a declaration on the civic state of Bosnia
00:15:56and Herzegovina. Yes, that is very interesting. Uh, we are waiting for
00:16:00two more very important press conferences, our party and
00:16:04NIP. Here, at this moment, it seems that
00:16:07the president of the People and Justice party, Ermedin Konaković, is
00:16:10speaking. The entire campaign result, Semir
00:16:14Efendić in particular, with a very impressive result for
00:16:18a member of the Presidency, and it is clear that that
00:16:21a good result, perhaps a little
00:16:25unexpected, but truly genuine. Here, congratulations on such a
00:16:29result. People and Justice as a party that was perhaps most exposed
00:16:32to all kinds of different attacks, we naturally expected slightly better
00:16:36results. "The big problem was the low turnout, and somehow,
00:16:40in percentages, what we reviewed, we remained completely at the same
00:16:43level as the previous elections, proportionally, but the low
00:16:47turnout affected the number of mandates, so we are at two at the state level,
00:16:50five at the federation level, five at Sarajevo Canton
00:16:54as well. We are waiting for abroad, there it is possible that a sixth
00:16:57mandate could happen. We achieved good results in the Bosnian-Podrinje Canton, where
00:17:01we have a prime minister. There they are closer to the fourth than the third
00:17:04mandate, 70 votes with the party. The Democratic Action
00:17:08parliamentary party is still in Zenica-Doboj Canton,
00:17:12Central Bosnia Canton, two mandates are certain. In Tuzla
00:17:15Canton, the results were not what we hoped
00:17:18for or, let's say, more optimistically announced, but they are solid. Here, I saw
00:17:22that we are again among the top five parties in the Federation. There was that
00:17:25exchange between SBH and DF,
00:17:29they swapped positions, we stayed in our
00:17:32place. We will finish what our obligations are. We are waiting for
00:17:35the election winners to gather. Possibly coalitions. Our
00:17:39ultimatum, our demand from the beginning of the campaign to the end of the campaign, and
00:17:43even tonight, is that no government at the state level should be formed with SNSD.
00:17:47As much as possible, it seems to me that the opposition has more mandates
00:17:51than the required number, but the houses of peoples are awaited, and I think that
00:17:54it would be very important for Bosnia and Herzegovina that the Russian ship no longer
00:17:58obstruct European integrations, which should be the imperative
00:18:02of the new government, are reforms that we started, two laws to
00:18:06be adopted, negotiators to be gathered,
00:18:08to get to work uh as soon as possible. As for
00:18:11the Federation, I think that pressure can be put on HDZ so that they
00:18:14do not definitively condition that at the state
00:18:18level, uh, SNSD with this Milorad
00:18:21Dodik and his followers should be in power. It is possible
00:18:25to exert some pressure given the numbers that the opposition has
00:18:28in the uh uh part where the Croatian people
00:18:32form the majority, where representatives were elected. So, another
00:18:36electoral cycle for us, the work we do tomorrow,
00:18:39the mandates we take on, NIP is stable, strong, horizontally
00:18:42broad, we have many, about 70 organizations that
00:18:46worked hard. I am proud of this campaign, of its uh,
00:18:50both external and internal uh, its external and internal
00:18:54functionality. I don't think we offended or hurt anyone,
00:18:57and here tonight the
00:19:14Uh, congratulations to the SDP for Sarajevo Canton, they did an excellent job, and the damage is
00:19:18rewarded for the job they did well. It's a bit strange to us, at least in
00:19:21Sarajevo Canton, the large number of fantastic results of our ministers and
00:19:25mayors, and Muzur and Dovađije, but I said that, we
00:19:28were really the frontmen of that story. People had
00:19:31objections to the trio, we paid the highest price. We would still do
00:19:34everything the same, we wouldn't change, because that's our character, that's not
00:19:38a matter of any calculation. We don't
00:19:41calculate. There were objective criticisms that stand. Yesterday, the whole city
00:19:45had no water. That management, Vik and some other people we elected, did not
00:19:48respond to the task. It's logical that people react that way, to punish
00:19:52us. We are the government, that's how it should be, that's how it works in
00:19:55parliamentary democracies. We wouldn't call anyone for now.
00:19:59Let SDA gather power if it can, let them agree, with the
00:20:03understanding that it's probably a difficult task ahead of them, uh, given that
00:20:06vertical and the state and the federation and... I don't know if they are still
00:20:10considering that SNSD, HDZ, SDA coalition at all, whether it's
00:20:13possible. If not, then their leader must think carefully tonight
00:20:17about how to propose some coalition formation, but here, those to whom people
00:20:20entrusted mandates should take the greatest
00:20:23responsibility. We will be recognizable,
00:20:27the same, however it all ends. When we were in opposition in
00:20:30the previous mandate, we supported all good ideas, voted for
00:20:34all laws, never interfered between the state and... the interests
00:20:37of citizens to politicize. We will continue
00:20:41to be like that. Tomorrow, the day after tomorrow, some mathematical options will slowly
00:20:44crystallize. We will not only follow mathematical ones, we follow more of these
00:20:58why is that, do you already have some ideas, why
00:21:01did it happen, uh, I'm talking proportionally, we're at
00:21:041.5%, so at the state and federal level, identical.
00:21:07We had enormous enormous support in the last elections, we were
00:21:11really what ZBIH is now in the last elections, we were new,
00:21:15we didn't have the burden of power, we didn't have that responsibility. We said what should be
00:21:19done, we didn't say how it should be done, and people naturally
00:21:21entrusted their votes then to NIP, which was what
00:21:25SBIH is today. Now they decided to slightly change, we fully respect
00:21:28that in the analysis of some election results
00:21:32are yet to come, especially the engagement of people. I really have
00:21:35no objections, we have a super team in Brčko District of Bosnia and Herzegovina, we made
00:21:38huge progress there, we are also in power there. We will see, of course,
00:21:42who it is, whether our people perhaps underperformed somewhere, were less good,
00:21:46that is time ahead of us, but here tonight we are drawing a line under a
00:21:49difficult standard behind us, and I can say I am truly proud of it
00:21:53at all levels of government, the People and Justice party has done its
00:21:56job diligently, and here again I repeat, it has taken on
00:22:00burdens even where there are no points of contact with us.
00:22:03They accused us of everything, we accepted that
00:22:06responsibility. It looks solid considering
00:22:10everything we went through, is there no coalition
00:22:12with SSD? SDA decides on coalitions, let them
00:22:16arrange theirs, there is no coalition with SNSD anywhere, and...
00:22:20we are monitoring the development of events. Is anyone stopping it? Is everything okay? So,
00:22:24we heard, I think, Amira, all the press conferences we needed to hear.
00:22:27We can now hear our reporter Tatjana Drljić, who is in
00:22:31Banja Luka, currently at the SDS headquarters, but she was following
00:22:34developments in other headquarters. Tatjana, let's
00:22:37summarize the night. Well, more or less everything is
00:22:47closing of polling stations in Bosnia
00:22:50and Herzegovina, given that Radovan Kovačević, as
00:22:54the spokesman for SNSD, addressed the public already after 7 PM,
00:22:58so after the closing of polling stations, he announced that
00:23:01after 80, pardon after 18%
00:23:05of the votes counted, the advantage was convincingly on the side
00:23:08of SNSD. Not much time passed, already at 8:30
00:23:12PM, SNSD, led by party president
00:23:15Milorad Dodik, had declared victory, so
00:23:19at both levels. They were aiming for the biggest and
00:23:23most, let's say,
00:23:26race for the President of Republika Srpska and the race for the Serb
00:23:29member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The difference was convincingly
00:23:33on the side of SNSD candidates, i.e., Savo Minić is
00:23:37now, according to preliminary information,
00:23:40but quite certainly, the difference is
00:23:43such that the remaining votes
00:23:47that have not been counted cannot take away that
00:23:51advantage. Savo Minić is the new President of Republika Srpska,
00:23:55it seems, while Željka Cvijanović, of course, remains in the position of
00:23:58the Serb member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Certainly,
00:24:02as for uh success, they have
00:24:07the level of the National Assembly of Republika Srpska where they also
00:24:10achieved a convincing victory while they are
00:24:13followed by the Secure Srpska movement with about
00:24:1615%, and below them is the party.
00:24:20The Serbian Democratic Party, parties that did not
00:24:23pass the census in the National Assembly are certainly
00:24:26the Coalition for the State, the party of Vlado Đajić, but also
00:24:30the party of Jelena Trivić, which is somewhat very
00:24:32surprising,
00:24:34there was a big difference precisely in those votes
00:24:38between Željka Cijanović and her
00:24:41opponent from the SDS who was therefore supported by the opposition in Republika Srpska
00:24:45Marinko Božović, in third place in the race for a member of
00:24:49the presidency was Vukanović with
00:24:51not enough votes, which caused great disappointment for
00:24:55Vukanović who somehow blamed
00:24:57the people for whom he says he was always there, but the people did not
00:25:01reciprocate. On the other hand, Branko Blanoša honorably
00:25:05conceded defeat here literally behind
00:25:07my back, he congratulated his political
00:25:11opponent Savo Minić, he said
00:25:13the remaining votes that have not been counted cannot change
00:25:17the fact that the new president will be quite
00:25:20certainly Minić, on the other hand, Mariko Božević, who therefore aspired
00:25:23to the position of a member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina from the ranks of
00:25:27the Serbian people, was visibly disappointed, all the blame,
00:25:31without naming him, he shifted to Nebojša Vukanović who,
00:25:34as he believes, somehow disunited
00:25:37the political opposition body, instead of siding with the opposition, as
00:25:40he says, he somehow went into that independent struggle, maybe
00:25:44he thereby drew, so to speak, votes that could
00:25:48have helped the opposition so that they could... be united to achieve
00:25:51a better election result,
00:25:54the results will certainly be analyzed, the SDS announced,
00:25:58Branko Bladuša did not say that he would resign
00:26:01from his new position, at least not yet, a deep analysis,
00:26:04a serious analysis of these, as they say,
00:26:07democratic results of the general elections, after which they will see
00:26:11in which direction the politics of the Serbian
00:26:15Democratic Party will move, but it will certainly remain in opposition
00:26:18that there is no room for any calculations
00:26:21with the SNSD which
00:26:24confirmed it remains the strongest political party in Republika
00:26:28Srpska.
00:26:35"the events in the SDS and
00:26:37SNSD, and now we go to our Tina Jelin Dizdar, who was in the Party of
00:26:41Democratic Action all the time and
00:26:44Tina, uh, what we saw, at least here, the pictures we
00:26:48saw from the SDA, namely, uh, the winning
00:26:51party, one of the winning parties of the SDA, everyone we saw,
00:26:54no one was smiling, the president of the party,
00:26:57probably very, not probably, but very disappointed that
00:27:01he did not enter." the presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, but a very
00:27:05interesting picture that no one,
00:27:08Zahi Ragić for example and everyone else from the SDA, no one was
00:27:11smiling even though they achieved a great election result.
00:27:25Subtly, will he resign or not, a second defeat,
00:27:29let's be direct, so and a defeat by Denis
00:27:33Bećirović, he said today that he had a slightly higher number of
00:27:37votes compared to the previous elections, Efendić was also there who really
00:27:40got a significantly large
00:27:44number of votes, maybe that annoyed him, however,
00:27:47I didn't have that feeling, moreover, I had a feeling of some
00:27:51calm here in the Party of Democratic Action, as they said
00:27:54earlier, although they really didn't want to address the media
00:27:58before all these results, or until they
00:28:01hear, "and finally Denis Bećirović himself,
00:28:05so, as they say, they were sure of
00:28:09their victory, and indeed the Party of Democratic Action
00:28:11achieved a phenomenal success, well, it should be
00:28:15said, given that apart from those six cantons where they are
00:28:18convincingly the first party, uh, on the other hand
00:28:21they have a controlling stake in the House of Peoples in the House of Representatives,
00:28:24they probably doubled the number of mandates, similarly
00:28:28in the federal parliament, and now
00:28:31it will actually..." be seen in the coming days, Bakir
00:28:34Izetbegović also said with whom coalitions will have to be formed and where
00:28:38coalitions will have to be formed, so that
00:28:42is such a result that they
00:28:45achieved, Izetbegović himself on that question, again I return to, will he
00:28:49withdraw or not, several times we
00:28:53insisted on that and my colleagues said that the party will decide on that, that
00:28:57is less important, it is important that the Party of Democratic
00:29:00Action won and indeed... that, as I say, many
00:29:04more votes compared to the period of four
00:29:07years ago, and four years ago they were individually the strongest
00:29:11party, I will remind you with over 25%, now they say
00:29:14that they got twice as many votes
00:29:18and even when it is calculated in relation to the parliamentary assembly together with
00:29:22the number of votes for some individuals who entered there, so
00:29:25like Haris Zahragić, so he has three times
00:29:29more votes than some who have been in politics much longer. parties,
00:29:33but who were expected to cross, so
00:29:37that threshold, what will be interesting in the coming
00:29:40days really is who will
00:29:44form the government, negotiations are just starting,
00:29:47we asked Izetbegović what he thinks about the SNSD as
00:29:50the winner, what messages that sends, he roughly
00:29:54described the formation of the government as a joint-stock
00:29:57company, we are all aware of those mathematical coalitions, he says
00:30:01they will negotiate with those who are winners, that's how it is
00:30:04in Bosnia and Herzegovina, of course, if it is the SNSD, they will enter
00:30:08into talks with the SNSD, but it is known what the
00:30:12red lines are, that is the implementation of laws, that is the Dayton
00:30:15Peace Agreement, we know that the Party of
00:30:18Democratic Action declaratively advocates for
00:30:22the European, that is, or NATO path of Bosnia and
00:30:25Herzegovina, in any case it will be tough negotiations, on the other
00:30:29hand, it will be interesting to see by cantons how that goes, so
00:30:32the SDP won a really significant number of
00:30:35votes in Sarajevo Canton, will some new trio happen,
00:30:39is that possible, in any case, what
00:30:43Izetbegović sees, he was among the first to congratulate Efendić
00:30:47on a significant number, it is probably the Party for Bosnia and
00:30:50Herzegovina as possibly new partners.
00:30:54Studio,
00:30:56so it was Dina Elin Dizdar from the party's election headquarters.
