00:00:10researchers in Italy have shown that wi-fi signals can sense people
00:00:14and follow their movement. so how
00:00:16does it work? wi-fi uses electromagnetic
00:00:20waves, and it's everywhere these days. it passes through walls
00:00:24and people. our bodies reflect and absorb this signal,
00:00:27suddenly altering it. Measuring these
00:00:30changes lets researchers detect movement, positions and
00:00:34motion patterns that one day might become distinctive enough to
00:00:37tell people apart, somewhat like
00:00:39fingerprint.
00:00:43At the Frauenhofa Institute for Integrated Circuits in
00:00:46Nurnberg, scientists are studying how radio waves can be
00:00:50used to determine what's inside an
00:00:52object.
00:00:56Not with our eyes, of course, with electromagnetic radiation.
00:01:01To demonstrate the principle, they run an experiment: two sealed
00:01:05packages, each filled with different screws. Using radio
00:01:08waves, they check what's inside them. The system
00:01:11analyzes how radio frequency electromagnetic signals are

00:10:40billionaires sound like characters straight out of science
00:10:43fiction and they have a plan. Critics call it
00:10:46Tesgril.
00:10:53Tesgril is an acronym that bundle several tech world
00:10:56ideologies: one is transhumanism,
00:11:00merging the human brain with computers, promising eternal
00:11:03life in machines. Singularity is the moment a
00:11:07super intelligent AI is born. Eugenics, the
00:11:11idea that only the highly intelligent should reproduce,
00:11:14essentially an elite dictatorship. Looming over
00:11:17all this is long-termism. Climate change, environmental damage and
00:11:21poverty are sidelined in favor of spreading humanity across the galaxy.
