00:21:09concern is coming from, that's that's the risk that that people are talking about,
00:21:13yes, um, the technology is intrinsically
00:21:16unreliable, um, it occasionally invents things, it does things
00:21:19wrong, inconsistent uh, so when when you give it
00:21:23enormous capabilities, and it comes up with novel solutions, um, there's

00:23:14able to shut it down is is sensible

00:23:20substitute for for sort of full safety policy, so there is
00:23:23a global race to develop
00:23:26superintelligence,
00:23:28and that will bring all sorts of benefits as well, there is
00:23:32risk, but it will also potentially bring all sorts of benefits to humanity, solving
00:23:36problems, advancing science, solving medicine, so it's
00:23:40right to to want to advance AI, and
00:23:43any regulation that slows down AI, that's only limited to
00:23:47one part of the world, risks the other parts of the... world advancing
00:23:50ahead, so it's a legitimate
00:23:53problem, and the only way past that is international collaboration,
00:23:56so the US and China need to agree what what
00:24:00precautions need to be taken and it needs to be applied globally, it can't really
00:24:04work if only one country is doing it. I well, let's

00:24:10are not a threat to humanity, the concern is about what will
