00:20:26completing specialization, can leave the institution that enabled and

00:20:33without any investment, gets an already trained expert. For

00:20:41canton, but it is definitely one of the potential problems

00:20:55for them to have such conditions, primarily financial, and in some parts, working, so they can
00:20:59be completely satisfied and not have to look for any other
00:21:02alternative. An additional problem is the large difference in doctors' incomes among
00:21:06cantons. According to data from the Federation of Professional Unions of Doctors
00:21:10of Medicine and Dentistry, currently doctors in the Canton of Sarajevo, Tuzla, and
00:21:14Zenica-Doboj are among the best paid, while the incomes of their colleagues in other cantons are up to
00:21:1730% lower. Such differences, they warn, do not only lead to
00:21:21departures abroad, but also to migrations of doctors within

00:22:07doctors. This system is unsustainable in the long run, says
00:22:10the president of the government, claiming that reorganization is needed, as well as finding new
00:22:13sources of financing. Without such changes, she warns, it will be increasingly difficult
00:22:17to ensure stable functioning of healthcare institutions

00:22:28canton, we are aware of the difficult decisions
